Simple enough to pick up and play, challenging enough to not put down. I beat all 22 levels at the Veteran difficulty -- and the last level I conquered in 5 tries! Anyone who has done the same at the Veteran difficulty, please "like" this review! This game begs for hyperbole, but stays firmly grounded in simplicity. It is not a port. It is designed for the touch screen, and works brilliantly well on the iPad. By far the most tempting game to pick up and play. iBomber Defense is simple fun in its most pure form. It's a strategy game first and foremost. Place your defense units in the right places, with the right balance, and pace and brace yourself for each wave of attackers. I have 22 games for the iPad, all of them worthy in their own right, but none of them holds a candle to this one. The best 99 cents I have ever spent.

Great game. Played it through. As a German American I felt perhaps instead of playing the axis you could play as the Russians. But it's okay they removed a lot of the branding. Also wish the troop movements were not so linear. I understand it is a defense game and one based on towers. But would have liked a bit more. The planes move linear too which makes placement of anti air craft either good or bad.

An A-1 Tower Defense Game - totally addicting!. I'm a big fan of tower defense-type games, and this is one of the best I've come across. Great graphics, audio effects are great (use headphones/earbuds to add even more depth to sounds). Not fond of background music in general, but can turn that off. Stable, crash-free on my iPad 2. Good job dev's! How about some more levels soon?!

!!! PERFECT !!!. Yeah! Finally, after searching for a TOWER DEFENSE game for a couple of days here in the AppStore, I found one that combines playability, looks, sound without incessant bugs... and that's hard to find but not impossible right? Well we got a winner here! There are like six or seven variety of turrets and for me that's enough variety to make things interesting without being overwhelmed or underwhelmed by a TD games turret selection. Intuitive.... Did I mention very smooth graphics.? It's got those too! THere is a lot of junk out here in app land but this one is honestly a gem!

Lots of fun!. I'm just about to start my 50 wave defense in Nazi Germany. This game is so much fun. I especially like to AirPlay mirror to my AppleTV and watch the action on my big screen tv. There's a rewind feature that lets you back ups few seconds which I've only had to use once. I haven't had any issues with crashing or freezing on The New iPad.

Game will not load at all now!!!. Games kind of addicting, every time I seem to do an upgrade of the game they had a bug into it so crashes a lot or just won't load it all. But then another upload or fix comes and it works just fine the only other complaint I would have is why haven't you added more levels to this game have you forgot about it or just completely abandoned the whole idea of this game?? Take pride in your work and more levels put some effort into this game!!!!

Fake Reviews. This game is trash. There are like 5 towers and only upgrade 3 times. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! It's a money grab machine.

Pretty fun.. Okay the pet peeve with this game, it always loads upside down, thenyou have to really shake it to get it back. I have not had the stability problems experienced by others, gameplay has been smooth. I always play on fast, in fact i wish there were a faster setting, since at normal speed it drags a little. Boats and units dont seem to get much stronger from front to back, and some levels go on for 40 or 50 rounds, so they can get a little long. I like the rematch feature, it is fun.

Strong Strategy Game. I have played each level of the game and it has been stale, reliable and engaging. The graphics are high quality and the levels are hard enough to be a real challenge. There are so many variables to consider "should I put an upgraded cannon on high ground or two fully upgraded machine gun nests near the objective?". In short, an elaborate, fun strategy game that has never crashed during my play on the I-Pad2. Very worth the minimal price. And no, I do not work for the develipers. :)

Great tower defense game. I haven't played a ton of tower defense games, but a lot of the ones I've tried could not hold my interest for more than a few minutes. I've been seriously hooked on Fieldrunners in the past, but nothing else I've come across has matched up. iBomber Defense doesn't just match up it (pardon the pun) blows Fieldrunners out of the water. A well-designed campaign, unbelievably great artwork (especially on the Retina Display), and engrossing gameplay make it easily my favorite TD game and one of my favorite iOS games of all time. The fact that it's a universal app I can also play on my iPad makes it even better!

TD? Awesome!!!. This game is awesome! I do like a good tower defense game and this one is very simple and easy to learn. The only DRAW BACK is that if someone calls you while you're playing this game, the SFX COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF! I found a way around it finally by pressing the 'home button' twice which brings up the multitasking feature and just delete it. Start the game again and your SFX IS BACK!!!!!

Love this game!!!!. Game glitches now on startup since updating iOS! Please fix!! In addition, how about a iBomber defense “eastern front” or “desert storm” or “Korean peninsula” or “Vietnam”? The possibilities and potential profits are limitless

Fun tower defender. It's simple and challenging.

3.75, but worth it. There are 2 campaigns, counter-attacks, and plenty of other twists on the tower defense genre. More weapons would be nice, it looks awesome in Retina on my 4g iTouch, and the maps are great. The repair concept is great too! Co-op would be just plain epic, but I understand the difficulty of implanting it. Over all worth it but a few extra features wouldn't be bad. Chilling has a better update history then EA( though EA is now chillingo's owner, better then Activision( just imagine, Angry birds: Black ops, and the game costs $.99, extra levels run for $15!, or iBomber defense: world at war( panzer zombies would be fun ;) !)) or Gameloft. Well worth it!

Nice to get my gaming fix when I need!. The developers of this application have done a good job with the AI, giving us a game that pretty much plays itself with our instructions :-) It has been made just challenging enough at the later levels that there is a little bit of frustration, which I think is great. I am going to make it past that level of 40 ways if it's the last thing I do :-) Nice job guys One suggestion is to allow in app purchases which would allow for weapon upgrades or money allowances so that time starved worker bees like us can punch the crap out of some of those waves of enemies and then go back to the normal way of playing. Just a thought

This game is pretty great. I try not to buy games like this because I like tower defense and Command & Conquer type games and this one looked good; therefore I spend hours at a time playing when I could be doing something productive. I downloaded the lite version and liked it and the full version on my ipad is a lot of fun. Again I regret buying it because it's so good.

SOLID THREE. This game is alright, but is a bit expensive. There are many tower defense games available for the same price with better graphics and more in depth game play. It takes a while to make money, so upgrades and new towers feel few and far between. Some levels are easily beat with what feels like a minimal amount of towers. I will play through this game at least once, but I recommend fellow gamers to scoop it up when it's on sale.

One of the best games, but.... This is truly one of the best tower defense/strategy games available for iOS devices. It's military themed, which gives it a nice scenario feel. The general defense process is straight forward and can be challenging depending on the level. I found it to be fun, relaxing and interesting. My biggest complaint stems from the fact that you can't SAVE your progress! It's incredibly frustrating to be on the 30th wave of 40 waves and then have some actual work to do :-) and have to switch out to another app. If you come back in soon (I.e., don't open too many other apps), then it resumes fine. But, if this game gets pushed out of memory, you lose your place and have to start that level over again. Shameful for a game of this quality! It should remember the layout and level and continue from there. If they ever fix that, I would give them a full five stars.

Long Time Favorite. I wish there were more strategy games like this instead of the money-robbing type games so prevalent now.

Great Tower Game I’ve Been Looking For. Still long for the original Field Runners with more maps, but this might have just satisfied my needs! Much better setting and then than monkeys throwing darts with 1000 choices and upgrades that are never used (I didn’t keep those long), and this has no in game currency (which I mostly avoid); 1 pay and done. My only request (but certainly has no negative star effect) would be to allow me to move new towers around while the game is paused and then lock them for duration after the game is started again. That’s because my big fingers in the iPhone makes it a bit more difficult to look at the range circle while holding a tower...hence I would prefer to pause the game, drop a tower, look, move the tower over a square, look, yeah I like that, hit play and the tower is locked and can’t be moved again. As is, I have to sell a new tower for less than what I bought it for while the game is still paused if I accidentally drop it in the wrong place. Still, a great game I’ll pay for some time to come AND will look at the other iBomber games too! ——— Please know I reduced 1 star for 1 very annoying bug! If you get texted, called, alarm goes off, they sound will stop working for the remainder of the game... you must close the game and restart to pay again with sound. This presents a real problem for me in that I can play only when I’m not expecting a call or text from anyone 😒

Excellent Tower Defense Game. Not sure why this is not the #1 TD game on the app store. I play most all TD games I can find on the app store and this is easily one of my favorites! Developer please keep updates coming, would even pay for an expansion pack. Some levels are challenging but the gameplay is solid with zero bugs. Easily a top tier tower defense game in the league of Tower Defense, Bloons TD 4, Creeps and Tower Madness. A must buy!

Set aside some time. You're gonna need about 45 minutes to play a typical level of this game. Really fun, challenging and addictive, but you'll need some free time!

Great game until iOS 8... 😩. Great tower defense game....until I upgraded the iPad and iPhone to iOS 8. Now the game will not save its progress, so if you leave and come back to a game in progress later, guess what? It's like the first time you ever played the game!?! And this is now true of all of the iBomber series games from Chillingo. VERY frustrating! Come one Chillingo - get it together and get off your butts and fix this!!! :(

Great, until.... I was having the time of my life playing this game. I had it for about a week, and I was on the axis powers, level 7. I had to stop playing the game for school. (bus) Then when I tried to open it back up, it opened up kinda slow. It shows the cobra thing for about 10 seconds, then it goes blank. It shows the cobra thing again and chillingo. Then I press play. It does the little loading thing, and gets stuck, then goes blank, still in the app. I have to back to my home screen, and it doesn't close the way it should. It's all abrupt instead of the things smoothly coming together in the screen. The rest if my apps act like that if I open a different one up right away after closing it out. Then that app is only like that for a second. Then everything goes back to normal. Help!!! Still this is a really good game it may just be how old my touch is. Don't worry about it on like ipad iPhone or anything. I've got like the 1st gen. touch or something, the 1 with the big screen covering the whole thing. Not mini iPod or anything.

Most addicting game I've tried yet. On the iPhone, this game is great...on the iPad, it's even better because there's no scrolling needed. Either way, super fun game with long playing time. I just beat it on rookie after a good 2 solid months of playing...now I'm trying normal, which is way harder.

Give it a chance. Bought this on the reputation of iBomber. At first I had my doubts, as it took a while to figure out and doesn't entail direct action. After you get used to it and get a feel, it is unique and fun! They do a great job with the sound and graphics. Love seeing the difference between the gun sizes and weapon options.

Excellent. I like this game but some level blocked and I am finish the previous level I don't why they block it

Pretty Good Game. Works great on my iPAD; I had concerns after reading a few of the reviews. Worth the price but winning in campaign mode in area 3 (North Africa) is very difficult to impossible, even in rookie mode! If you don't make it fun to play (even accepting trial & error with battlefield setup variations), then you will find other 'fun games' to play instead. In rookie mode, a player should be able to win! I am an experienced player, so don't take my comments to be from a newbie player - I have over 100 games I play on my iPAD, and this one is challenging, but somewhere in the middle of the pack. Nuf said!

Great Game! ...just one problem though.. Highly addictive game with great graphics on my old 1st gen itouch. However, when playing the Axis campaign, the game freezes up after level 7. After quitting and then restarting the app, I'm still unable to continue the axis campaign. On the other hand, I was able to finish the allies campaign just fine.

Love it. Needs an update for iOS8. One of my favorite games. I play it often. Fun to try different setups and see if they work. I really enjoy it. BUT since the latest OS update (iOS8) the game doesn't remember anything. Every time I open it its like playing it the very first time. I unlocked the German campaign, but the next time I played it was locked again. I still enjoy playing but frustrated that it's "starting over" every time.

This game is terrible. There is only two types of towers to build. Almost no upgrades. The free TD games are better then this paid game.

Juvenile, but I love it!. The game itself is simple - defend your stuff. The graphics, gameplay, sound effects, simplicity, and countless levels are all there. It is a fairly addictive game and it is a bit frustrating when you can't pull off a victory. I think the only shortcoming with this app is its icon... it's not nearly representative of the quality of the graphics within the game. A very fine effort, especially for the hours of entertainment. Well worth it. I would appreciate a little more cash at the start of each level, though... only due to my inability to get through two of the stages.

Perfect Tower Game. This is my ideal game. Plenty of levels and play time without being so complex that can typically ruin other TD games...believe me, I have them all. I would love to see this one continue to grow with more maps. But still keep it simple with only the handful of weapons, etc. As everyone says, the graphics and sound are great!

Tower Defense game designers take note!. THIS is what tower defense games should hold as THE one to model after. I've been playing TD games since Fieldrunners was new, and THIS is what I've been waiting for. Not only are the graphics & sounds fantastic, but the element of your weapons taking on damage is what separates this game from the others in the TD genre. Bravo!! Looking forward to another TD game from you. Only negative thing I have to say is, I looked at iBomber 2, and I got a "Halloween III, Season Of The Witch" feeling.

One of my favorite tower defense games. It's a lot of fun and has great reply value, you can approach missions in many ways. Pretty long too and perfectly stable for me on an iPad. The quality of artwork and animations are top notch. I usually play with muted sound so I can't comment on the sound. Overall, both iBomber games are excellent. Difficult at times but never frustratingly impossible.

from fun to frustrating.... Liked the demo so I bought the full version. It went from fun to frustrating to just about not fun at all. 1. Needs better money payment when you kill an enemy. $1 for an infrantyman and $3 for a battle ship. Come on. 2. Enemy ships and vehicles should not be allowed to pass over each other. 3. Weapons upgrade should not cost as much as the initial purchase of the weapon itself. 4. More balanced "us vs them". A slew of enemy ships and planes firing multiple rounds against what we can afford to arm ourselves with is way out of balance. 5. More strategic weapons placement on some of the maps. 6. Repairs should not be so frequent or cost as much. Of course when you have 20 enemy battleships and 10 enemy subs all firing multiple rounds at the same time what do you expect. Where are our weapons like that? 7. Weapons cost should be lowered so we can actually arm our army. 8. 20 to 40 waves of the enemy in one round and they get all new ships, planes and vehicles each round. Where's ours? I could probably go on but you get the idea.

Seems to be the only honest tower defense game. No ads to watch, no dollars to spend upgrading, just you and your whits stopping the hoards of invaders. I’ve played this one through many times and wish there were more like it.

Seemingly fun game undone by poor programming. I found this game when searching for a new tower defense style game. I enjoyed it well enough that I came back to play it more after a 20 minute session. Unfortunately the game loses your progress if you haven't been in it for a while and you end up starting completely over with tutorial mode and everything. Completely unacceptable in any game these days. It's not fun to do the same levels over and over again because you only play sporadically. My review might be three stars even despite that but another critical flaw is the way the game is at times unresponsive to touches. I try to tap drag a turret and nothing happens until I mash the area with my finger repeatedly until it randomly places a rose near my finger. It doesn't happen all of the time or even most of the time, but it happens often enough that I can't enjoy the game between that and the lack of saving progress. The game might be solid if not for these basic defects. I'll set it aside for a while and see if the fix it. Probably not, since chillingo is a prolific publisher.

LAME. Don’t waste your time with their games. Simply view when the last time this developer updated their game. Look at the last time they had 5 stars. At least 3 years ago. They don’t care about their games, so why should you. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time. Their games are so LAME.

Great game. It's fun and very addictive game. My only criticism is that the last few levels are ridiculously hard, even on "easy".

Stunning game - and I'm a tower defence developer!. I've developed two online tower defence games, so I have a background with them. I simply love this one! The gameplay is so well balanced. The campaign mode is a joy, it feels like you're progressing through the game rather than having a dozen random skirmishes. Perfect on the iPad - it was made for games like these! I'm probably 9 missions in, not sure how much longer the campaign goes. Just finished part 2 of an epic sea battle. Very engaging. $4 Australian this is a total steal. I loved field runners when it came out, but obviously you move on from any game after a while. I'm totally hooked on iBomber Defense! Only recommendation would be get a new icon. It doesn't represent the high production values and sheer quality of the actual game

Cracker. What a cracking game!! This is a fantastic base to build a game with some in depth story...and more weapons! Still, I'm loving it... Gameplay, graphics, all good.... But the sound makes it great!

Fantastic TD Game. This is my first tower defence game purchase, and I must say I am very happy with it. It is extremely polished in every way, and has kept me entertained for hours. I got it for the sale price of a dollar, but if I had known how much I would enjoy it, I would have gladly paid up 4 dollars. Definitely get this game.

The single best tower defense game on the AppStore.. The reason iBomber Defense is so good is because it has brillant graphics, fun gameplay and you won't throw your iphone/ipod touch/ipad into your wall from the frustration that you can't win. It also has great replay value and if you think that the game is to easy for you, you can just change the easiness of each level! I strongly recommend iBomber defense and you shouldn't hesitate on buying it.

Ok game. Level Germany is too hard. Make Germany easier

Excellent. Having played a lot of iBomber from the air I now spend a fair amount of time playing defence. Similar to Field Runners - but less repetitive. No tilt control in this one as you are not actually moving - just placing and upgrading weapons. Well worth the money.

Great purchase.. A very good balance of strategy and fun. Im actually stuck on a mission at the moment, and retired heaps of times, but most of the missions you can get a feel for and complete pretty quickly. Perfect type of game when you can only play bits at a time, never had a problem coming back to it in a break and picking up right where i left off.

Polished but unambitious. This game is the tower defense formula everyone knows. It's very nicely put together and lots of fun, but doesn't take the genre anywhere it hasn't been before.

Game has major a problem.. This Game is flawed as it Fails to save your progress!! You are forced to replay levels over and over again! Each time you close the app, your hard work is erased. 1 star until issue fixed. Would recommend to avoid this game for now. You'll hate playing it the way it currently is. Running iPad mini 2 with latest iOS.

gaz. Such a great game, only complaint is that it is too addictive. I found myself sneaking a game every chance I could get. Then I would hear that familiar voice yelling "I thought you bought that iPad for business" so be careful, once you start it might end in tears.

Addictive Game. For fans of tower defence games, this gives you a good challenge in finding the right combination of defences and locations. Knowing when it's the right time to sell one item and build a different one is key when things get complicated (don't overuse that trick).

Glitchy video. The main screen and menu screens only display in a quarter of the screen. There is video flickering and other glitches making this game unplayable. This is the only title I've experienced with this problem. Wish I had tried the lite version first.

Great game. No crash problems with this game at all. It is a fun take on the Tower Defense genre but the aim of this game is trying to determine the best placement of weapons and upgrades to defeat the hordes of enemies that come at you over multiple paths. Quite tough but not discouraging in it's difficulty. One of the better games I have played in a while.

Awesome! Just a couple more thing though. Awesome game! Could use a couple things though like when you select a turret you can see it kill count and after you win or lose a stage it give you a break down of that round... Why ibomber 2 for iPad?

Great Game. This game is the Plants vs. Zombies of defense games. I do hope for an update soon, and I am sure that is on the horizon. Some have said that there was not a lot of effort put into this game. I do disagree with that; I see lots of hard work having been done and I look forward to some exciting updates in the future.

Tech. I am very critical of any paid game.I will tell you that this game is excellent.It is very engrossing and will consume many hours of your time.If you like PVZ,You will like this as well.currently my favorite game.

iBomber defense. Story-1 Sound-3 Gameplay-4 Addictiveness-3 Originality-2 Enjoyment-4 Price-3 Overall-3.1 I excluded 'story' from the overall as no one really plays a defense game for the story. I was expecting a little more from this game. I did like the simplicity, there is no weird towers that you are not sure of their capabilities. I was hoping they would have had a 3D element to this game but they decided to go for better graphics over zooming in. All and all if this game is on sale I suggest you buy it.

Best Game for iPhone !!!. This is the best game I've ever played on my phone. It takes a round or two to get the hang of it, but then you're totally addicted and can't put it down. The graphics are top notch, and the gameplay is challenging, yet fair - even at the high levels (I've gotten through just about all of them, you just have to know how to use the correct combinations of weapons, and know when to buy and sell at the right times). I really hope they publish updates or even a sequel, cause this one is soooo much fun !

Great game: loved it. Easy to pickup. Only two nitpicks: quitting doesn't save and when you return, you have to start the level again; the pause button is only 20 pixels away from the 2x button. Hilatity does not ensue. Played twice: once at easy as Allies and once at medium as Axis. The Allied tanks are tough!

Well made and challenging. Best tower defense style game I have ever played on a mobile device. The maps and campaigns are varied and challenging and the graphics are excellent!

frustrating. Great games but very frustating when the enemy can get more then we get. theres a lot more funny games then this one. The only goal I have is to have fun, the step between level is to high so this removes all the pleasure.

Boring. Wow, this is the most boring tower defence game I've seen. The game dynamics are just not engaging. It's not that it is too easy, the difficulty level is reasonable. It is just that the predictable sequences of evenly spaced enemies of exactly that same type make it really lame. I guess that's why they included a fast-forward button. Think about it: any game so boring that you want to fast-forward through it might not be worth playing. The designers should have realized that when they were adding this feature, it was a red flag. If you got a movie that you had to fast-forward through large sequences because it was too boring, would you consider that a good movie? Don't get the impression that fast-forwarding through the boring parts alleviates the problem. Even then, it just doesn't feel like an entertaining use of my time. I won't say it's not worth the money, because it's not expensive. Apparently quite a few other users like it based on the reviews. I just thought I'd add my perspective. Having played quite a few other iPad tower defence games, I've never played one that I found less compelling than this.

Great game. It's been a while since this game has been updated. I'd like to see more content. Gamecenter multiplayer, retina support and AirPlay apple tv are standards that need to be implemented. Update: finally finished the game. Even though it was a good challenging game, I found it more on the repetitive side.

Killer!. Solid graphics presentation. Good for just playing around as well as bloody challenging for the perfectionist in expert mode! Simple but sophisticated, not a wild deviation from every turret game out there but a culmination of everything cool!

Does not fully support 11 pro max. Needs an update so it will use the entire screen on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. At least there is no in app purchases and the game is fun.

Best TD game available in iOS. Great campaigns, beautiful graphics and challenging gameplay (depending on difficulty level chosen). One of my favorite games of all time. I like it so much more than the fantasy-type games with bizarre weapons and enemies. Nothing wrong with those it is just my preference.

Meh, nothing special. This is a simple defense game. I bought it based on a positive review from app advice that was talking about all the strategy involved. It's probably worth a buck, it'll give you something to do for an hour or two, but the gameplay is very simple. Theres not a lot of strategy. You get to a point where you're just sitting back watching the troops race across the screen as a passive observer. Plus, tower selection is pretty limited.

Meh. I'm on the 6th mission and so far this game brings absolutely nothing new to the genre that games like field runners and star defense (my personal fav) already perfected. Graphically, the enemies are generic and on some maps are almost invisibly small (level 6 I think). Not a horrible game, but def not anything that I haven't played before and worthy of the price.

First Class. Takes Tower Defense games to the next level. Awesome interface, great playability, great new concepts. Would love more options, weapons, an editor to design new battlefields etc in an upgrade but if you like TD games this has to be in your inventory! This is a truly first class App!

Well done!. This is a fantastic game. Rarely do TD games provide the right balance of challenge and fun, but iBomber Defense nails it! The pause and fast-forward features are invaluable, and the graphics are great too. I'd love to see some additional weapons in either an update or a sequel!

Very average. This game looks nice and is well produced, but the game play is simplistic and gets old pretty quickly. I love tower defense games, which this definitely is, but there is not much strategy involved. There is also not a lot of detail with respect to upgrades and interesting towers. There are also a surprisingly small number of level designs.

Great game before I bought the iPad2. This is a great take on the TD genre, and I loved this game on my original iPad. Now however, as other reviewers have mentioned, the game is simply not playable on the new iPad. It squishes itself up into the top left corner of the screen in iphone resolution. It is unplayable in its current state.

Da Bomb. Should really get four and a half stars because you can't continue a level where you left off if you leave the game. But otherwise it's da bomb!!!!

Not sure why. Not sure what's the deal but the game restarts when I come back to play. I've gone through so many levels. Next thing you know, I come back to play and all of a sudden, it asks what difficulty do I choose. YOU MEAN I SPENT ALL THAT TIME TO START OVER.... I have never left a review but I hope the developers know what's going on and if they didn't hope they see this review... 👎

First feedback. It's a great game. Unlike other games, (many that are far far more expensive) I keep coming back to this one. I recommend playing at medium difficulty. The maps will be challenging, and force you to learn the equipment available to you, and how to use it effectively.

Not Saving Game Progress Since iOS 8. I loved this game. Then I installed iOS 8. Now the games will not save. I have to start over from scratch each time I exit the game. Seriously frustrating to the point where I no longer play.

Great game!. Good balance between number of features and simplicity. Also good that different levels sometimes require very different strategies. Much much better than Robodefense.

Not worth the money. Not a big fan of this app. I thought it was like the old allied attack or panzer attack, but it's not. You basically place your defenses on any of two or three routes and a line of enemy drives by and you try to blow them up. Or I should say the computer tries to blow them up. There is no real skill involved other than placing your guns on the proper line and then watching the computer have at it. I could see downloading if it were free, but not paying 2.99 for it.

Lots of fun, Very stable on my iPad. Love it! IBomber & iBomber Defense Pacific are my favorite TD games. Pacific is a little more polished with extra features but all in all great graphics, sound effects, and solid gameplay.

Favorite Game at the Moment. If you like defense games, I highly recommend this one! Great graphics and sound and gameplay is smoothe. You can even fast foward and pause.

rating all depends on which device you're playing it on..... This has been one of my favorite games on my iphone 4 over the last week, and I've been looking forward to playing it on a larger screen ... namely my ipad 2. It doesn't seem to be compatible even though they say it is here. The screen flickers back and forth and it's unplayable. Bottom line, if you have an iphone or and ipod touch, get it. If you are hoping to play it on an ipad, stay away until they bring out an update.

Very Cool Defense game. Paid .99cents and very happy with this game, beautiful landscapes, well thought through maps with naval air and land units. Very easy and interesting to play. for .99 cents would recommend it to every fan of tower defense games. Thank you.

Loved it until it stopped working. This was my Go-To game until it crashed and now will not work at all. I tried to uninstall and re-install, but all I get is the Cobra logo, then it takes me back to the home page. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Good TD Game, nice graphics, smooth play. Pretty standard tower defense gameplay, but I love the graphics and overall feel. One of the better TD games out there, certainly worth the $2. Have not had any problems with crashing or performance. I also recommend Kingdom Rush.

Not perfect, but very good. I've never been a big fan of tower defense, but this game has me hooked in the proverbial "just one more turn" kinda way. Decent graphics, simple game play, and a very nice use of the various pieces. Not strategically deep, but sufficiently tactically interesting to keep my attention from start to finish. Recommended.

I bomber defense. Love this game, can be very challenging later in the game. Great screen function, graphics are just fine for iPad mini format. This game never crashed on me and does not force you to spend real money. I have downloaded and play all games connected to this company, love them:)).

A good game!. This is the first game I bought. It didn't let me down. Beautiful UI! Easy to operate! It works great with iPad, but the screen of iPod Touch seems too small to play this game. I had a lot of fun with this game. Hope you like it as well.

Screen problems on Ipad 2. This is a great game, very addictive and beautiful on the first gen ipad. I recently got the Ipad 2 and there are major screen problems with it. It is unplayable. Wait for a fix if you have the Ipad 2. But it's a definite must have once problems are fixed.

Good but repetitive. Good game but either too easy on lower level or unwinable on higher ones. Why do all of these games have that breaking point where they're either way too easy or way too hard?

Excellent td game. Great gameplay, very challenging without being frustrating. The ability to earn badges in both campaign and quickplay is a nice touch. One drawback is the inability to upgrade all weapons in bonus levels.

Nice. Too few tower types and enemy types. Upgrades are too few and too easy to get them all. Suprise attack repeat of levels is nice, ability to rewind is also nice. Very easy early on, finally gets tough on the second campain. The level of difficulty selection is almost meaningless. Fun, has potential with an update to address above concerns.

IBOMBER DEFENSE. This is a great game but it does not work right on an ipad 2. It has selections for cannons and turrets in upper left 1/4 of screen. its like some screens are 1/4 the original size and they are overlaid into the upper left corner of screen, While the rest of the game is full screen. I have a ipad and an ipad 2 it only works right on the ipad. i will rate 5 stars once they fix this problem.

Awesome. An addictive game that lacks very little and delivers hours of fun at a great price! My only thoughts are: 1) Needs an autosave feature so that exiting the app will not make you lose your progress 2) Needs more variety - more upgrades/defenses and enemies.

Excellent game!!. This is easily the most addicting and fun game I have played on the iPad. Even more addicting than Angry Birds. Made by the same developers so you know it's good... Definitely worth a few bucks. Awesome game!

Had to dock one.... ...star for the sound issue, but this is one solid tower defense game. One of the best I've played, in fact. It runs well on my iPhone 4. Note to devs: Address the sound issue asap. The sound fails if a call comes through during play. Users have to relaunch the app to restore the game's sound effects.

Big Bang for the buck. Lotta fun and lotta levels. You will lose track of time when playing as it is hard to stop. iPad version is a little more fun as I have he game on my phone as well, but didn't know that until I put it on my iPad. I played the phone version for a long time and was equally satisfied.

Favorite game ever. This is amazing and very creative. Love the length and challenge of it. Amazing replay value. Beat it and unlock the Axis side for a totally different campaign with new levels and weapons. I'll never delete it. INCREDIBLE!!!

I bomber def. It is awesome but I can not beat the level in the first picture even though I start off with 100$ and I bought the upgrades for all the towers but the really big strong boats with lots of health, rocket launchers and machine guns keep getting threw and I have a ton of cannons and double machine guns and all kinds of stuff but it still doesn't help

Outstanding game. Very nice game. The graphics are great and the play is outstanding. Very addictive, I can't put it down. The only problem I have is when I get interrupted by a phone call the sound doesn't come back on until I turn the unit off and back on. Great game and well worth the money!

WW2 in the palm of your hand. This game is what I've been looking for. It's fun to play and the replay value is excellent cause there are always different ways you can go about placing your defenses.

Good game, needs bug fix. This game is lots of fun, but the sound disappeared after I answered a call on my iPhone while I was playing. This has happened to me twice now, and both times the only way to fix it was to delete and then re-download the app. Fix this bug and I'll give five stars.

Needs more variety. The graphics are great. The game seems stable. In the end though there is very little that is new in this game, it comes off only as a very polished tower defense game with little in the way of variety. Maybe there will be some add ons?

Fun Stuff. great game. fun campaign. allies then axis. blow up boats. weeeeeeeeeeee!!!! X-gun and firestorm are axis weapons... Don't listen to the tower defense nerd who is overly critical. when battleships shoot your thingies it does a lot of damage. shut up. oh and why does this game need to use location services? will it tell me where to find the nearest WWII era Flak Gun? hmmmmmm

good game but!!!!. I like this game except for the low cash earned for kills so it takes to long to level your equipment up towards the end of later campaigns with 50 plus waves. Most of the time you will get to wave 46 and all of a sudden you are to overwhelmed with enemy pretty much d/t lack of spaces for equipment as well as cash supplies. Make some adjustments to this and I will change this to 5 stars

Really good.. Seems there's a new surge in the tower defense genre recently. There's been a lot of new ones. This adds to the next wave of larger more graphical action style TD games. It's all done very well. Nice variety of enemies from land, air, and sea. This makes for a greater challenge and it makes you think about tower placement.

Good game. Not sure if it's the game that some people are having crashes, as I have not had a single crash yet, the game play is really good. This is the tower defense type game I've been looking for. I haven't beaten it all yet but won't take much longer, hope for more rounds.

Two thumbs up!. Very fun game. Great graphics. Easy to learn in rookie mode but pleasantly sophisticated at higher levels. The fast forward mode was a great idea by the developers. Easy to pick up where you left off and play for a few minutes or an hour, whatever your schedule permits!

Best TD game. Played this on my brother's iPad. Went to buy it but discovered it was $2.99. He bought it for $.99. Hate paying more than a buck for apps. I looked EVERYWHERE for a better TD game. I even looked up best TD game on google and tried all of them. I liked iBomber Defense best so I ponied up the 3 bucks.

Love this Game!!!. I have kept this game on my iPad and iPad 2 longer than any other, and cannot more highly recommend it. It is so addictive you just might not be able to do anything else once you get started!

This game rocks!. Just like ibomber for the iphone, this game is graphic rich and amazing in its detail. I am totally hooked on it, spent hours the first time I played it. Starts easy and then builds, looks amazing on the ipad's large screen. Well worth the $3 bucks!!

Great but a bit buggyu. I'd love to rate the game as a 5 but I will not do so until either the bug I see is fixed or I am told it either isn't a bug or it can't be fixeD HELP!!!!? have no sound. At first I was playing the light versions. All the sound for the game was fine. I bought the full version and it seemed that all was well. As I was playing the first level I heard sounds on all of the menus. When I started playing I found that there was ZERO Sound from the weapon. They fire correctly, hit targets and upgrade like they should, only I cany hear ANY of the weapons fire nor any explosions. How can I get the sound to play WHILE IM ACTUALLY PLAYING!!! My earphones work fine for everything My iPad speakers worl (as well as can be excepted). Please Help d.

Countless hours of my life... gone!. If you're unemployed and have 24 hours each day, all to yourself, to do nothing but stare at a 10-inch screen, then Chillingo has just the thing for you: iBomber. Never waste another hour sleeping, and watch the pounds fall off by not eating -- all thanks to iBomber. This game is a disease. I am infected and there is no cure. My wife has tried deprogrammers and intervention, nothing works. Chillingo is the devil, and I have sold my soul.

Everything about it is fun!. Very cool app, I have all their apps very fun and always worth the bit higher price tag, .99 apps are fun and all but if you want a real game with real content you should pick this one up.
