One of my most enjoyable iPhone games. This is such a polished game with gorgeous graphics and fantastic spacial sound effects. This game was designed for the iPhone and it tells. For those finding it difficult, and there are challenging levels, I have a few hints. When targeting your bombs you need to adjust your speed by how you tilt the screen, and figure which targets to bomb first. Always be sure to tap the red crosses to stay alive. This is a game I have found myself playing over and over again. I hope for more missions in the future.

To any skeptics.... Don't believe any of these idiots who are complaining about this FREE game. The controls become easy very quickly, and you can even adjust the tilt sensitivity. About the power up complaints, you have to tap them, not bomb them or something. As for the people who complain about how the bomb drops, boo-hoo for it trying to be a bit realistic. If it bugs you that bad then get the power up that let's the bombs drop straight down! The app is free, get it NOW!

WOW!!! Feature to change weapon?. Great game. Thanks. Differs from all games on iTunes. I was waiting for something like this. The maps are fun too because there are a few maps that isn't just bombing stuff. For example, one map we have to blow things ahead fast so the 18 ships can pass safe. so developer if u can pls add more interesting maps like this. Also, we should be able to change weapons so we dont have to waste them. We can then be more effective. And, u guys can add people that shoot and cars driving around shooting us as well, so we have to blow them up too. That would be nice. Also, we can have a machine gun where we touch the screen and it shoots the machine gun on the land, lets say to kill the people and blow up trucks. Anyway, Great start im really happy. A definite must buy! And a definite 5! At least worth 3 dollars!

Surprised by how polished it is. I got the game because it was free. I wasn't expecting much, but this game is really thought through. Polished graphics and gameplay. It's simple, but challenging. It's not hard, but it does take getting used to. Losers complain about accuracy, not realizing that you need to drop them early depending on your speed (the momentum is carried to the bomb). And getting power ups and health are easy: just tap on the icon! The Aces (spades) bomb is the best; it nearly hits where the cross hair is. There's the "big boy" which is slow to fall, but can wipe out an entire island of AAAs. And the triple reds are great for a bomb run.  Graphics, Gameplay, and Length. Replay value: ; there's medals to earn, and you won't likely get them all in the first run. It doesn't get old, though. Enjoy!

Deserves better ratings!. This game is quite fun and addicting! I really don't have any problems with it. Most reviews with bad ratings are usually just stupid people who can't figure things out. And it helps to read the instructions before you play (just a bit) so you can know how to get extra health and better bombs. This game is good looking and fun. Easily 5 stars!

Superfun. I love this game, from the tilt speed control, the different bombs, the powerups. It's awesome. Two problems: 1) the game often crashes at startup if I don't have a network connection of some kind. This started after I bought the mission pack 1. 2) the mission pack only had 2 missions! Check out the awesome (free) updates from finger phyics to see how this could be done. I don't mind paying a little for mission packs, but how about at least 7-10? Loved the game. Now waiting for mission pack 2, though if it's only 2 again, I'll have to think hard about it.

Maybe the best.. I have about 15 games on my iPhone, all "top rated." I think ibomber might be the best. I just finished the campaign and can't wait to play through it on elite. Anyone who says it's "too hard" or "you can't get power ups" doesn't have the patients to appreciate such an amazing game. Sure some levels took me 30 attempts but that's what I loved about it. This game kept me coming back.

INCREDIBLE. This game is so easy to use with just two buttons, and the physics in this game is great, letting the bomb keep moving after being deployed. Also the powerups are easy to get but with only 3 powerups the game gets slightly bland after the first 3 missions, but it is still incredible addictive and challanges your fighting skills. GET THIS GAME WHILE IT IS FREE if you have free space on your iPod get it, and if u don't, make room, you'll be glad you did

I Can't Believe This is a Free Game!. I don't understand people that complain about the game being too difficult. It's better than making it so easy that you beat it in an hour and delete it. There's a decent amount of levels with the promise of future ones. What more can you ask for in a free game! Looking forward to more levels in future updates. Outstanding game!

Great game. I found out peeps!! And if you are reading this your lucky see I got this game for free. What you do you get a game right when it comes out because if it's popular it will go up in price if not you got it for free so shut up but if you don't get it when it comes out wait for a sale like mega man2 or just wait until its not popular any more. Hope you read that because that advise saved me 6$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!! :•)

Truly epic, but.... This game is amazing, I would of payed for it but got it free. However, it's FLIPPIN impossible to get the power ups. You see one and by the time you get to it it's gone. It's like the developers are sitting there with a button that makes the things go away when you get close to them. I think the difficulty is where it should be, if you could get the power ups that is. But all in all this game is amazing. One of the best uses of the accelerometer.

iPad Quality BAD. I originally purchased this for iPhone many years ago.... downloaded it on iPad and the quality isn’t great. It’s fuzzy asf. Wish they’d fix that!!!!

What. Alrighty iBomber people,what the heck is going on with this "new" updated version?!?!?! I purchased the "update" for the two new missions and I get nothing! What are you people doing? Please lose the password request every time I try to play! You people BETTER get this mess straightened out quickly!! I can assure you this app won't last a month if you don't do something quick. At the very least, please respond to let us know that you people have read our complaints! Other than this recent glitch, this game is very addicting!

Some days... you just want to drop BOMBS !!!. If you ever had a bad day at the office, iBomber is an inexpensive way to vent your frustrations --and its actually a lot of fun too! I have had this game for well over a month and it remains to be one of my favorite time killers. The tilt sensitivity can be adjusted, which turns out to be one of the coolest features for the game. I can play it at just about any angle, but the later missions may require you to sit up and pay closer attention. Well worth the price of admission. Can't wait to see what else comes out of Cobra Mobile!

Please update or release a new mission packs. I have had this game for a while and really do enjoy it. I wish the company would return to this game and give us more updates and missions. Tower gamers are fine and I do get bored with them since you make one move and wait. There's something satisfying about being able to drop a bomb on something to help with the stress relief.

Crappy instructions and controls setup. The game is pretty fun, very hard, but fun. They have a very poor set of instructions for the game, very little detail. What kills me is that it says you can adjust the tilt controls (which control the speed) in the "Controls Calibration Screen" but despite being a pretty smart guy, I have not for the life of me been able to find this freakin' screen! I also find the game pretty challenging (not necessarily bad) because in most cases you have to drop the bombs before the target is in the sight. Finally, the graphics are good, but "dark" in general. There's not enough contrast between the targets and background sometimes.

Good game. My initial thoughts are that it's probably a game that should be sold for $.99 instead of $2.99, but then I remember days of buying super-crappy games for almost $10 each for my old phones, and I realize this isnt a bad deal after all. Fun game to play. Balanced in terms of it's easy to learn to play, but challenging enough where you won't beat it in the first day most likely. I like WW2 stuff. This game tries to make you feel lilke you're a bombadier in a WW2 bomber. Overall, I recommend buying this application if you like WW2 games.

Hurray! Updates to allow me to pay to play more!. I paid for this game a long time ago. Purchasers were promised more content would be added. It finally gets an update and all that is added is the opportunity to BUY MORE. I'd just as soon buy a new game for the cost. I'm disenchanted with the new trend of developers never bothering to update their apps except to add new ways to take your money for nothing of particular worth. Now I know why they drop the price to "free" every once in a while. Original customers don't matter, they just want to recruit players who will pay for the in-app content. No updates improving controls or new content for original purchasers. No more support from this user.

#1. This game is the best game ever it it so addicting. When you first play it it is really hard and you think it is a terrible game. But once you understand the controls a little better it becomes really fun. There is no gory stuff, it is totally wholesome. When you are really good at it, it is fun to go back to level one and destroy everything including the trees. There are infinate bombs for the normal bombs and upgrades for bombs. You might get frustrated if you are no good at it or you keep losing. But compared to the other reviews that say it is bad they just don't get the controls. If you read the controls before every mission you will understand it quicker. Hope this was helpful. Have fun playing it.

Great Game!. Most of the negative reviews of this stellar game are idiots that either can't handle a challenge, can't read directions, or have no concept of pre-Vietnam War military technology (and/or physics). To the first I say "go play games for kids then", to the second I'd say "it's pretty F'ing obvious, just 'tap' the powerups to get them, you don't have to fly into them", and to the third, I'd say "(a) you're flying a plane that turns gradually - there is no 'reverse', this is not a helicoptor, AND (b) you're dropping bombs from at least 10-20,000 feet, so the release point must be ahead of your target depending on your velocity. DUUUUUHHHHH!!!!" This is a fantastic game and really doesn't deserve the high numbers of 1 and 2 star reviews. Don't be fooled! It's awesome!

Great game - read all instructions. Yes, it takes some time to get used to the game play. But, once you figure it out, it's great. Especially, once you figure out how to take out a battleship with a big bertha. One thing that could be modified are the life tokens or special bombs. If those could stay another second, just to grab them would help. I've completed the game. I was surprised to see the 13th level was a bit more difficult than the 14th.

Great design, and a fun game. For the graphics and game concept it was a great game. You just need to play it a little while to get the hang of it. Once you understand where the bomb is actually going to hit it's a fun game and challenging. I would like it better if I could control the throttle myself with the left hand instead of having to tilt the itouch forward and back. I felt like I was having to hunch over all the time to just play the game. Just put a throttle on there and I think it will make it easier for steering. All in all, it was a challenging game. Good work

5 Stars Is Not Enough. I bought the IBomber bundle pack earlier this month and must say it's very addicting!!! You won't be disappointed. Keep Up the great work developers!!!!

Love the game. This is one of my favorite ipod games. The good: -The music is a perfect choice as it doesn't get old quick and you can play your own music in-game if you wish -There is a good assortment of maps in the root version and they include some fairly challenging ones to get through -The graphics are well done with nice detail and game play is smooth (G3 Touch) Possible additions or enhancements: -It would be nice if health upgrades would last a little longer when displayed (they currently disappear if you move off screen), long enough to permit looping back for them -The destroyed big guns should look more damaged to help differentiate them from active but lightly damaged ones. -Would love to see a European theater version of the game with rail lines (escaping enemy troops or hauling weaponry), tanks, air fields, pill boxes, etc. Keep up the good work Cobra Mobile

Very nice, but difficult. Maybe I'm alone here, but I found this game to be very hard. First, the good. This is a well-executed 2-d flyover game in which the player has particular targets to bomb and power ups to find in the process. The sounds are great, the backgrounds are detailed enough to find targets, and the controls are surprisingly responsive. Now the bad: when your bombs hit their marks, it's a beautiful thing, but when they don't, and particularly when you can't dart across the map fast enough to ding the baddies, it's very frustrating. I'm sure I need some practice, but even after the first map, the difficulty ramps up pretty quickly. Still, it's a unique use of the motion control and an overall fun experience. Now, the bad... or at least, the I-had-trouble-with. Between the controls and the timing, this is a game of precision and expert timing. Maybe I'm used to more forgiving games, but I found even early levels of iBomber to be very challenging. Your mileage may vary. Upshot: for the price, this is a great addition to your game library.

Beautiful game. Wonderful game. It took me a couple of levels to get a hang of the controls. I too was getting frustrated that the bombs do not fall at the place where u actually drop them, but then I realized that it wa intentional. For those who r whining abt it, u will notice that the black "ace" bombs do just that; they fall at exactly the same spot at which u release them. The green bombs r meant to work the way they do and that itself adds to the challenge. Love it! Haven't yet beaten "the last stand" and the "scorpion fortress" but all others r done and were a Loy of fun. More levels pls :)

Great!. I'm not sure why some people hate this game, but it's awesome! People are comlaining about how the controls are hard to use? There are two buttons: a menu switch and a "bombs away" button. And you tilt to steer! How hard can it be? Other people are saying it's too hard to hit anything? Maybe with the mega bomb, but in real life, bombs don't go straight down like in the movies. This game was based before the nuclear bomb was created! Bombs didn't drop as fast as they do today. And those people who say it is "impossible" to get powerups? You have to tap them, anybody read the instructions (directed toward people who complain about this game)?

Great game! A few thoughts.... I got this game when it was free. It was an obivous steal at the time. I think it's worth $2.99 at most. Even so, I think $0.99 is a bit much for a 2 pack. Maybe if it was a 5 pack I would be willing to purchase it. Just a tad steep for a few minutes of play. Also, I've noticed that my iPod App, whether I use it during the game or not, is still running after I close iBomber. Sounds like an issue to me. I don't want that running in the background eating up resources and battery life when I'm not actively using it. FYI, I'm using a 3GS with 3.1.2. Thanks for the great game!

Fun but a bit repetative. Don't pay attention to the naysayers as most of the complaints are from people who didn't take the time to read the tutorial (you have to touch the power ups with your finger to recieve them) or just silly like the game is too dark (try turning up your brightness, genius) The game is fun and intuative but gets difficult in the later levels and the game is pretty much the same through out. It can be frustrating when power ups just aren't working your way, however the game is addicting and most of all fun. $2.99 is a fine price to charge for te experience, and if there's ever a sequel that changes up the game a little, count me in.

Lots of fun. I just don't understand the "haters" of this game... It is fun, works well, hard enough to be intetesting but not impossible. It's a good game worth 2.99 Cute graphics, pretty simple controls (ignore the people with the sub-80 IQ who say it is "too hard" or "can't control" it...) Only annoying thing is the power-up float off the screen too quickly if you are going fast

Fantastic app!. This game is great. Reminds me of the good old days on 640x480 @ 256c when pixels really mattered! My only problem with the app is that you have to physically rotate to move about, and while that works great when you're sitting down it's really uncomfortable to play when you're lying on a couch. Other than that one small complaint it's a 5 star app as it has tons of polish and replay value!

Amazing.... Don't listen to negative reviews. This game is pretty realistic and really fun, especially for free. All you people saying the bombs should fall straight down obviously don't have the common sense to know that a plane moving at high speeds can't drop something at a completely different speed. That is what makes the game hard. This game is a challenge and that is what makes it fun.

Wow kids. Some things that people don't seem to understand: Bombs don't drop straight down. They keep going in the direction you are flying as well as down, as per Newton's 1st Law of Motion. Lead the target. This game is by no means difficult. If getting overwhelmed is your problem, try retreating and waiting until a large group of enemies disperses or go find a straggler to hopefully find some health or a better bomb. Don't go rushing in to a group of 6 battleships like an idiot. Tap upgrades to get them. Flashy gadgets like targeting systems, maps, and objective indicators above buildings were purposely left out to preserve realism. WW2 pilots didn't have all of that; they bombed what they could see, had to make judgements considering a bomb doesn't drop straight down, and had to rely solely on radar or visuals to see their objectives.

A nice little mission game..... This game has very nice graphics. this game has challenging missions. This game is hard to master ..., yet has tons of replayability. Bombs away on your targets without getting shot down yourself....a simple premise, Right? iBomber is a pleasing application that can be as frustrating for some as rewarding to others. But together, all will have a visually fun time with this game. The "lite" version doesn't do this game any justice....this full version is really good.

Great game. Simple controls, lots of levels, and reasonably good graphics. Easily worth $0.99-$1.99. I beat every level except for the 'Heart of the Storm' level with the super battleship. If you think that this game is impossible, think about what I wrote. Remember... You get powerups with your FINGER. You don't bomb them. Those of you who want the bombs to fall straight down and for the game to have no one shooting at you are incredibly stupid... what sort of game would that be? You'd get bored in a minute.

Amazing!!!. This game is so awesome!! When I got it I just assumed it was like all the other free apps-the first level free then you get spammed with ads telling you to upgrade to the paid version, but this is like the entire game for free. And it's totally awesome and addicting. My favorite app, had it for about a week now and it still entertains me. I highly recommend at for anyone looking for a free awesome game.

Fun game. With great graphics and smooth, glitch-free gameplay. There's a slight learning curve, no doubt, but once you get the hang of the controls, this is very fun game. It's easy to pick up & play, but quite hard to master. Even though it has a war-based theme (you're a bombardier), the game itself is clean. No blood/gore here. You don't have to be a military or aviation enthusiast to enjoy this. Thanks, Cobra Mobile for making it free. :)

Fun!!!. After owning iBomber for over a week I still give it 5 stars. Great game! Good use of the accerometer with nice graphics and sound. I would like to see a practice map that is target-friendly (lots of em) to get used to the different types of bombs. Takes a while to know how much to lead for each type. Also, would like to make the bomb button a wee bit bigger. I have gotten lined up several times and missed the button. Having the option to toggle between bombs would be great. There are times when the cluster bombs or the big bertha are not what you need. It would be great to collect them and use them when you need them. Overall, a very good game and well worth the $3. Lots of replay value.

Nice game. Let me start off by telling you that I love this game. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is challenging. Although I can't ever seem to accomplish a 90% accuracy rate AND destroy everything in sight! But that's just me being greedy. Anyway, kudos to your team on creating a great game. That said, I noticed something odd with the latest in-app purchase. Specifically in "Pontoon". I've played this multiple times and have destroyed everything I can find yet I can only ever achieve 87% of ships sunk... And yes, the carriers are the first targets I go after. One last thing (and this isn't a bug) but $0.99 seems a little steep for just two missions that are actually pretty easy compared to some of the others. Just sayin'... Are you working on a level where train yards are more of a focus? Or how about one in a winter landscape (which would be more of a land-based European theater but would still be cool). Thanks for all of your hard work! I look forward to more updates and additions.

So much potential, yet........ Two major gripes: first, the game gets ridiculously difficult after the first 8 or 9 missions. I mean I'm all for a challenge, but you basically have 0 chance of survival or of saving your friendlies during the dreaded "protection" types if missions. (The WORST type of game missions ever conceived BTW). This games quickly goes from being very fun to extremely frustrating, ruining a otherwise great game. If there was better or more life, this would have been a more enjoyable experience. Also, the developer has simply stopped updating this game back in 2011. As a result, the game is based on old iPhone technology (made for iPhone 3GS) and is NOT retina screen-compatible. Even after Apple mandated that developers at least update app's icons to retina, this developer ignored, and the iBomber app icon is all pixelated and hacked on iPhone 4S. Developer has basically quit on this app, so don't expect any future upgrades or updates. Pretty lame. (Buy this at your own risk. You've been warned.)

Fun game, but the difficulty curve ramps a bit too sharply.. I really enjoy this game. The early missions are challenging and it is easy to get used to the control. I do feel that the difficulty jumped exponentially on the 9th level. I have never really liked protection missions, but it is part of the game. I would like to see the difficulty dialed back a bit. It seems as if you don't get hits on every drop, you get swarmed. It is no fun to hit a wall after so many fun levels. Definitely worth playing.

Still a Complete Ripoff + Phishy Reviews. So many 5 star reviews! Something underhanded is going on. Who could be happy paying for nearly nothing that doesn't work. I can hardly believe the gall of this company. The new "levels" for $.99 are NOT levels......it's two SINGLE missions. If it were two new LEVELS with multiple missions, then OK...it would be worth the money. Paying for two single missions is absurd. These guys are near criminals.....frauds at best. This is stealing money from customers for no value. The Apple store should have better quality control....this game started out great....but the company has turned it into JUNK.

Good fun. Why does this game have only a 3-star average? It deserves better!! Some have complained about the aiming, but it seems fine to me. You have to judge your speed to determine where the bomb will land. Slow down and it will hit closer to your crosshairs, speed up and you need to lead your target more. Simple. The bomb power-ups are a nice addition here as well. I'm not sure how much replay value this game has once you complete the missions, that's the only reason it doesn't get 5-stars from me.

Worth every penny.... I bought this game just looking for something fun. It wasn't just fun. This game rarely gave in and the goals and gameplay challenged me with every mission. The game graphics/artwork are quite good as well. iBomber is a great way to pass the time while still getting a chance to use your head. Just buy it. Plain snd simple. It will be at the top of your short list when thing begin to drag. I am looking forward to iBomber2 "Strike at Dawn: D-Day" lol OK, no seriously.

Excellent graphics and sound effects. I try to get the apps which are most realistic. This one is probably the best I have in my limited library of games. It is challenging but reasonable once one has applied themselves to surpass the various objectives. I do recommend the full version. It is a good value as many other apps are sold for the same price with quite a lot less quality. I am looking forward to the upgrades.

Excellent game! ... BUT .... Excellent game, high quality graphics and sound; very adictive. I will give this game 5 stars easily, but not before the developer provides for free the updates. The game itself is great but it is priced TOO HIGH ... on top of this, the developer charges another $0.99 for just 2 extra missions ?!?!?!? ... this is unaceptable! I have already finished the original 14 missions and would love to play some new ones ... but not at the expense of an extra $0.99 when I already paid $2.99 for the game. I will not comment on the disastrous update and lack of quick response from part of the developer. If this developer shows any appreciation for their loyal customers and changes their current polices, then i will continue suporting the brand and purchase other games from the company; I will as well update my review and give it a 5 stars. ... for now just 2 stars :( ... really a shame.

Blowing stuff up is always fun, and FREE!!!. This game is awesome! I can't believe some of the reviews are saying it's so difficult, impossible, etc. It was a little tricky at first, like most other good games, but you get the hang of it fairly quickly and then it's just plain fun trying to master it and when you finally do, it's like a whole other game, a really fun one! And all this, for free? It rarely gets as good as this and even more rare do you find one better! I really wish there were more levels, hopefully in an update soon! I'm having tons of fun with the levels provided but you can never get too much of a great game! Kudos to the developers, you all did a superb job, in my opinion, GIVING us this gem! Can't wait for more more more content. If anyone is wondering if this one is worth the precious space on your Iphone/Ipod, trust me, it is more than worth it, heck I would even pay for this one so grab it up while it's free!!! Yes just 3!. Only 3 because I don't like the "upgrade" which is more like a down grade. I have to pay more money for 2 missions?!?!?! Why? I already bought the app. This is a bad marketing scheeme. I also don't like the fact that half of the time I can't even play because of the crash while it loads. I usually have to try three times to actually play. Then each time I get to play I have to enter my iTunes password to play, and for each failed attempt too!! So I do like the actual game, when I get to actually play!

Great fun. Really great casual game. Very high quality. Accelerometer Controls are simple and work well, maybe a control pad option would be good. Graphics very smooth. Fun powerups. 

Frustrated...... I was totally addicted to this game - it is still the "original and the best" but since the last few IOS upgrades it does not remember player profile name or level attained - you start from beginning EVERY TIME grrrrr!!! I would buy the multipack if ibomber 1 was fixed....

Well Worth It!. If you liked the arcade styled shoot 'em up action of those 80's arcade games then this is for you. It's easy, it's simple, and explosively addictive. I am consistently running my battery down and giving my thumb a helluva work out. Plus - what could be bad as it's free! Go ahead and bomb with abandon. Happy hunting!

Awesome game. This game rocks. Definitely ignore the bad reviews. It takes some practice to become an expert at the controls but that just makes the game all the more challenging and therefore fun. The game is interesting, the graphics excellent, and the replayability is great. I love the achievements and am close to getting the 90%accuracy achievement. Definitely get this game a it is worth every penny.

5 Minutes Was Enough.. I only spent 5 minutes with this game but that was more than enough. I could hardly hit anything without slowing to basically a complete stop and even then it's still fustrating. A bomb lands a millimeter away from anything and you have to circle around and try again.. all while getting constantly hammered by enemies on the ground. This game is not at all forgiving, even on the very first level. If you didn't have to hit every single enemy dead on, it wouldn't be so bad. Hopefully an update fixes. In the meantime, my 1 star is for the nice graphics.

Love it..a must have. Excellent game, very addictive...the graphics are great, and the sound effects are brillant. If there's a paid app, then I'm buying it.

Purchased the 2 new missions and it took me all of 5 mins to get a 100% score on the first and achieve 3 stars on the second - come-on guys we love your game but revenue raising without delivery is a rip-off. Excellent app. Takes a bit of getting used to but it's great fun. Good difficulty settings. Excellent controls with the calibrate option. For only a dollar twenty it's a bargain. Get it now :)

So bad.... But it can be good... If you like smashing your head against a wall. The 2 stars I gave it is for the graphics. I did give it a fair go though. All that happened was I became increasingly irritated with the control (or lack thereof). The precision required with the unpolished controls is just unfair, given the constraints of the mission at any given time. Why anyone would give this a positive review boggles the mind. Here's a fun fact: it took my iPhone less than a quarter of a second to remove this from my sight! Victory!

Can't stop playing. I completed all the levels weeks ago. I've got all the acheivements you can get, yet I keep on playing it. Dangerously addictive. A quick tip to those complaining about the controls, you MUST calibrate the controls at the start of each game - you may also need to adjust the tilt sensitivity. Every thing else? Well that just takes skill.

Great App. This has to be hands down the best free game app available. Lots of fun, decent control and plenty of challenges. I will be keeping this on my phone for a long while...

Ummmm.............. It's fun it's addictive and it's a great game you can have up to hours off fun. But what could a say about the controls of the game it's hard to fire at the right time, but I guess you would get use to it. So I guess it's a great game all up so ......yeah if you like the lite version so much get it your not wasting your money.

Great game - very playable. This is a fun game. Take the time learn the controls and timing and you'll love it. I'd like to see the option of viewing a larger map for the mission as you can sometimes get a little lost. Another good option to add would be a way to view your progress within a mission. As you get awards for certain tasks, (eg, destroying all buildings), I'd like to know how close I am. Lastly, I sometimes pick up a bomb that I don't want to use and would love a way to scrap it without using it. Apart from that, I love the game despite the fact that it's short. It's got a lot of replayability and is worth the $'s!

Awesome!. Awesome start, loving this game so far! Superb graphics, animations and soundtrack. My only issue is in relation to the accelerometer and controls? Sometimes I'm holding the phone at really awkward angles. Perhaps a setting in the options menu to set playing position/level like iFighter might fix this.

A direct hit!. Fantastic, this game hits the bullseye with great graphics, sound and gameplay. My only gripe would be for the game to better clarify 100% competion targets. So often I finish a level with only 99% buildings destroyed so have to start over to complete. It's too easy to finish a level without it being fully complete. I agree with the map of some better way to see where you need to go. Too often I was left flying around aimlessly. Otherwise fabulous game. 5 stars!

Average. Reasonable gameplay and graphics, but isn't every other landscape app the other way round?? Maybe if they sorted that - the headphone jack on an iPod touch is inconveniently placed for this way up.

Not all it's cracked up to be.... The gameplay is not that exciting, and the missions are weird. What possessed the developers to send 35 destroyers, 1 super-battleship, 1 battleship, and 1 aircraft carrier to a fortress and expect a single bomber to take them all out? This game is not that worth it, most of my friends whom I told to get this game can't even beat mission 2. Way to hard, I'd wait until they update the game to make it easier and make all the missions playable regardless of whether you've beaten the last few missions. It's still a cool game with good graphics and music. DEVELOPERS- PLEASE MAKE A FEATURE TO PLAY ALL MISSIONS ANYTIME -

Very Good. It's a tough game to play. The second group of levels is indeed difficult to accomplish but it remains a well designed software. Good design and works well. Worth the price. But you got to be serious if you intend to reach the game's end.

Please update or release a new mission packs. I have had this game for a while and really do enjoy it. I wish the company would return to this game and give us more updates and missions. Tower gamers are fine and I do get bored with them since you make one move and wait. There's something satisfying about being able to drop a bomb on something to help with the stress relief.

Bombs Away!!. Addictive and fun:) Plenty challenging. Replay value in going back to previous missions to improve your bombing accuracy and medals. Great time waster:) I haven't purchased the extra missions, though. Based on previous reviews, I think I'll wait. The standard game comes with enough to keep me busy.

Fun for free!!!!. First off this is the full version of the game and it is free. The game graphics are nice and the controls are easy to learn. Not easy but not hard either. It's a good game to pick up and play any time. Get it while it's free. If you love games and apps check the appslappy podcast. They would give this a huge slappy, 5 of 5. 

difficult, but fun. I had seen some people mention the difficulty of this game but still wanted to give it a try. I do find it hard, but I am still learning how to manage it. It is a bit hard for beginners, but that is sometimes how we learn :) All in all a good game, Like the graphics, and the controls are easy. Just wish I was a bit better at being accurate!

Great game!!. Loved the free version, then bought the full game for $3. Well worth it. Also paid the $.99 for the mission pack. Got all 4 medals on every level but one. Seems to be impossible to get all the ships on the 2nd mission of the mission pack. Can only get 87%. It looks like there are 2 ships just off the screen east of the airfield. Messed up my perfect game!!

Definitely worth it. Absolutely amazing game. They were able to use almost every feature given on an iPhone/iTouch and yet still make it into a game with great graphics. It is easily worth your time to try it out.

It's easier if u read the instructions. Great game and for those of you that are having problems. Simply read the instructions and then the game is a lot easier (tap upgrade don't try to hit them with another bomb)

Really cool. I really don't see how you can't love this game, this game is very cool, you need to get used to the controls and just keep hitting the Bombs away button all the time and you will hit the targets. I wish you can change the planes so the speed and turbulence can change up, but every thing else is fine.

Quit Griping!!!!. I am a major cheapskate and will not purchase an app until I know I would want it and/or I would find it useful. This game is on par if not in the mid-range of games you would havero buy. It is challenging, fun and interesting. There is nothing wrong with the aim...only the "pilot" btw.

They are both free?  Do people purposefully forget to give a star rating, or honestly forget? So many reviews on apps are positive, but only give 1 star. I can't put this game down!. Be ready to drain your battery. The great thing about iBomber is the variety of targets and bombs. Lots of bombs - Lots of targets. Each mission is more challenging - more intense than the previous one. The graphics and sound effects are perfect. iBomber is my #1 game of choice. Nice job!

Good Graphics Hard Controls. Well I opened up the app and liked what I saw but.... Hard Controls you have to tilt to move that's OK but it might be hard for other people to get used to it and when you drop a bomb it drops like way in in front of where it shows it will drop. Well fun and great game it's mostly where the bomb will drop so fix it and it will get a 5 STAR!!!

Awesome game that takes practice. This game is great, it does take some practice to get good at dropping bombs, which is a good thing. Not sure why people are giving it low stars, maybe it's not their type of game. You can't please everyone. 100% worth trying.

Awesome game!. First I want to say people who review bad are idiots. You pick up the powerups by touching the powerup!! How is that hard to comprehend?? No duh it doesn't drop exactly where the crossair(spelling?) is!! When you drop something out of a plane when going like 100 mph the bomb flies forward from momentum... Learn the concept of velocity and have some common sense before reviewing! Great game! And free!!

Awesommeeeeeee. This is by far my favorite game all I can say is that it's awesome but one thing I hope y'all put in a nuke level where you just go in drop a nuke and watch the whole map get demolished by a mushroom cloud but even without it this is an awesome game 6 thousand trillion stars hahaha for me it never gets old I replay the missions

You people must be confused.. This game incorporates velocity, distance, height, and gravity. If you want to hit your target at full speed think about how fast you're going and how high you're up. If you can't think of any of these elements, then don't get this game. Overall, this is an excellent WW2 game that deserves some praise and respect.

Good but needs improvement!. The game itself would be a thrill if the interface made it at all possible to play it. At times the tilt and turn function is either under responsive or over responsive and makes the game difficult. The enemy can be rediculously overpowerful which makes victory impossible. In all, I love the concept of the game and would love it even more if the controls and elements were practical!

Shouldn't be free!. This app is the bomb! Get it...bomb! So anyway, the controlls are creative and the game offers a refreshingly challenging levels. Even if you finish you can still try to get all the medals. This game hit the bulls eye. Or should i say it hit the airplane carrier battle ship... Anyway, I recommend this app to anybody!

Awesome!!!. This game suprised me with the quality and gameplay it offers even though it I free. To everyone who complains about the bombs taking a short while to hit th target look at how high you are in the game. You are flying over other planes and bombers are always at higher altitudes so a bomb will take a while to hit something.

rocks when not crashing. I downloaded this game and it has become my number one way to waste time with the iphone. My only complaint is that with the last update I have to start it 2 or 3 times before I can play it. It starts to load and then crashes. Sometimes it even gets to the music and then crashes. Never crashes once loaded. When it does load, it's awesome!

New Missions do not load. Great game, but there is a major bug in the latest version. I updated to the latest version and bought the 2 new levels. Both levels do not appear on right hand side of main game menu. This looks a bug that needs a rapid response with a new version. And I want my .99 cents refunded or credited for more missions.

Motion controls too innaccurate. Title says it best. The game has some sloppy input as far as motion controls go with tilting the device to turn. It just doesn't feel or move right you end up missing most moving targets unless they're going in a straight line and even stationary targets are a chore to line up before you can drop you bomb. In a game with heavy firepower coming at you with moderately found health refills, and stages where you need to defend convoys against a fast moving enemy it turns into a game of anger and frustration over what it could have been. I'm glad I got this on a freebie day as I'd be furious if I paid for this hot mess.

Real Fun. This is a game that I may have never noticed if it wasn't for FAAD. Thanks The gameplay and graphics are beautiful. It's real fun to play. It takes skill to drop each bomb type, as they all fall differently. Although I got to admit my favorite bombs are the black ones. (They are the most accurate).

Fun. I really like this game. I hope they add more missions! My only two suggestions is the touch screen sensitivity seems off. You have to really push to get health & better bombs. Also, the bombs & health don't stay on the screen long enough compared to speed of plane. Menu button should be moved as it is easy to hit when bombing the crap out of the enemy.

Definitely My Game App!!!!! :). Yeah it was hard when I 1st started playing and then got used to the controls. You mainly need to slow down to really hit ya target. Sounds really good with headphones. Even pick tracks from ya iPod as ya go on a mission. Enjoy tha ride, blow sum stuff up, complete ya mission & make it back safely yo.

Noobs. I'm playing this at 3am half asleep laying in my bed and it takes less than five minutes to get the bombing down. What are you noobs talking about being hard?! It's realistic, has phenominal graphics, and should cost money. Go play tic tac toe if you think this is too hard.

The best iphone game... Ever!!!. This is the most addictive game. the controls seems little hard, but once you get used to it, you will love it. And for those who complains about picking up power and health, all you have to do is just touch the power/health before it disappears, its that simple. HTH. Over all, the best of the best of the best game!!!

reap the whirlwind. Very nice graphics and smooth gameplay. Nice controls and music (although the music gets quite repetitive and you find yourself maniacally humming it over and over for a week or so and want to... keep playing). Can't wait for update.

Fantastic. I rarely write reviews, but I had to comment on this game. From the retro, cartoon-authentic gorgeous graphic design to the clever gameplay, controls, concept, etc., this may be one of my two or three favorite games, paid or free, that I've had the pleasure of owning. Over the course of three years. This game is a triumph!

Great game. Seeing as how this was once 2.99 you won't see me complaining. But there is nothing to complain about, fly your plane around and time your bombing and your good to go. Fun, simplified, and why are there so many reviews with one star but the reviewer says it's a "great game".

Great, but could be better.. The idea and layout of the game is amazing, but the realism isn't. The major flaw Is the lack of a bomb sight, no bombers in that era would have been without them. In this, you have to estimate where you're going to hit your target, which means you get shot down sooner just trying to aim! Surely there could be another way to make the game difficult without being impossible.

Awesome once you figure out!. I was getting fed up because I couldn't get past the first level. Then I realized to get the power ups and health, you only have to touch them on the screen... Not shoot them lol. Awesome and fun game now! Must get! I play "Scream Aim Fire" while playing this!!

cool. It's cool. Good game for free. Nice 2D graphics. Cool World War 2nd style music. But hard to get bonus items because control is bit slow. You can change sensitivity, but it's still slow. Hard to know that you are getting hits by enemies. Some sound effects tell you that you are getting damages but its hard to know. Maybe some vibration can help. I hope developer will add vibration in next version.

Their Only Real Problem is.... Not creating enough scenarios. I've been playing both of their games for as long as they've been out I'm truly frustrated by the length of time between upgrades and additional mission packs. This games is a Winner. Do Yourselves a favor guys and create create create. Please.

Favorite iPhone Game. UPDATE: I just removed 3 of the original 5 stars I gave this game, as it now asks for my iTunes password EVERY time I launch it. Unacceptable! This needs immediate attention. ----- I've killed hours playing this game. The replayability factor is off the charts. Even after successfully completing a mission, I want to go back and see if I can sink a higher percentage of ships or take out more targets or up my bombing accuracy numbers. Many here complain this game is too hard, but that's what makes it fun. Invest a little time... Learn it and it's a much more rewarding experience. Games you can master the first time you play burn out fast! Lastly, the sound and graphics of this game are among the best I've seen on iPhone (3GS). It's fun with headphones. Now if I can steal my phone back from my six-year-old, it's time to embark on another mission.

Amazing, extremely well done!. This is so far in my experience the best and most interesting of the top-down casual simulation games. The graphics and sound are fantastic, the missions are engaging and it keeps you coming back for more. I hope that there are more missions coming in the future! Definitely buy this game.

What??. Saw this game a few times. saw it didn't get good reviews so i didn't download it but was I wrong it's soo much fun the controls aren't hard people are just dumb and bombing isn't hard you just have to account for your speed and how fast the bomb falls (that's why it's a bombing game)

How to play the add ons!. If you complete "Fire in the hole" the next game to start will be one of the add ons. However, it is only accessible after playing and allowing the next mission to play so it is not selectable from the mission menu. If you quit the game, you will need to play through "Fire in the hole" again. Hope this makes sense.

Good Challenge!. I read the critical reviews and low ratings given by so many people, which made me wonder how hard can it be? This game is not easy. I admit that it took me a while to get the hang of it but I have successfully accomplished the first mission. I understand it can be frustrating when a game seems too difficult to beat but nothing beats a Good Challenge!

Calm Down. Unless this company is sending my CC information to scammers and looking to flat out rob me, there is no rip off here. This game is very good and rivals most PSP and DS games in terms of fun and development, and those games go for $40+. So, calm down, for $2.99 this game is quite worth it. Plus, making bombing runs while listening to an action movie score from my library is intense!

Great game. I love the graphics, the types of bombs are awesome and the sound effects are amazing. The only problem is that it is too short and you should be able to do challenges or achievements. Also upgradable bombs would be nice. Anyway this game is Very fun and is worth 3 bucks
