So far so good.... I'm not a huge fan of this gameplay style. I downloaded it mostly for the theme; The Godfather. A lot of clicking and waiting. Can't really understand why these games are so popular. I'm enjoying the theme more than anything, but cannot see myself playing this long term.

Be careful if you have friends here. Could be a really fun game. Problem is there are so many servers, that if you have friends you'd like to play with, you'd better jump to their server before you get into it. They don't have the willingness or capacity to transfer your account from one server to another. Any progress or money spent is lost on transfer. They are incompetent or unwilling to address concerns in this matter. Once you're settled in with your buddies, you'll have fun working through the game mode and the external battles.

I’m a little upset... I’m upset at this game a little bit. I had 3 24 hour bubbles that I used and they popped not even a day later. Causing me to lose A BUNCH of power.. not fair to the people playing the game. I’m going to delete it from my phone cause it’s just a waste of time building up you’re family just to get attacked and lose it all. Not fair very disappointed in the creators of the game

Do they actually have customer service???. Atrocious customer service. You’d think they’d take care of those that spend money on the game but I can assure you they don’t..... Constant bugs and when they cost you in the game they’re in 0 rush to get back to you. If it was a free game so be it, but when you’re spending solid money and you can’t get a response for days? Well that’s a problem. Pushing 6 days without any resolution. 4 days in I got a response and they asked for info I already sent. I responded and now no response again. Pretty sure they work 15 minutes a day.

Pretty awesome game. I never really liked these types of games. I always found them boring. But after recently watching goodfellas, casino, and The Godfather itself I’ve wanted to play a mafia game. This game is cool and everything just the type of game it is kinda lowers my rating.

Rip off. I tried to purchase a pack and it would not give me any of the items I purchased. The customer service takes many days. They answer 1 question per day which they respond with something that ends up needing another question to ask. They charged my bank account 3 times yet I received nothing.

Way to fun.. This game give great deals and offers. Also the game is beyond addictive. I spend to much time and money on this game. Money well spent I must say haha

Keeps you interested and up at night 😂.. I just started a month ago and the game is great. You always learn new things everyday. Makes you feel confident and challenges you to grow and get stronger. Trying to make your family the #1 family and trying to make yourself the #1 in the server. It will take time. This is a lengthy game so if you want a quick game then you’ve reached the wrong place. This will keep you concentrated when bored. Keeps you wanting to play more and even keeps me up at night. Teaches you strategy and keeps you intrigued. There’s players from everywhere and the diversity is great and the game comes with a translator it helps a lot but sometimes is off. It’s fun to meet new people and learn more. I love this game.

The Godfather. I usually never buy or play these types of games. I am a huge fan of The Godfather so I went ahead and gave it a chance. However, I work too much to play serious game time, but the game itself is enjoyable. The background music, the special sound effects give the game to be real thing. If you aren’t a fan of playing games and you are probably thinking about trying it out? See if you can hang in the family.

Stay with it. I’m still learning but the game steers you forward. I have to admit when I start a session I want to keep going.

Great game, horrible devs. I’ve played this game for three plus years and love the friends I’ve made, but there are so many half built and unbuilt features. Really annoying. And progressively it is a game that only paying players can enjoy. The worst though is that the devs seem completely unaware of mobile software developments. The recent upgrade to iOS 14 is a case in point. I can’t upgrade my iOS because Godfather has no plans or dates for when the app will be fixed for iOS 14. Grrr.

Thoughtful. You have to have a good sense of direction of what you want in terms of being mature and patient for this type of game.

A+. Played this on PC years ago and enjoyed it and enjoying mobile version even more.

Best Game Ever. Hands down best game I’ve ever played on mobile. It’s free to play but you have the choice to make purchases if you’d like. Best strategy/war game of all time. Basically four types of troops. (Rock/Paper/Scissor-like where A has the advantage over B, B over C and C over A, with a D option that is on paper better than ABC but worse than ABC at the same time). A ton of fan service with Easter eggs from the movies. It is a must download if you have the time to log in daily and upgrade your troops and city. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

So addictive. I really like this game! Day 1 and I spent 20$! It's so fun to play and it always helps you to improve yourself. Keep up the good work and events

Server killers…. My friends and I love this game except there’s one problem….the server killer players ….they decimate a server and forces a lot of people to quit. How can the devs expect people to spend money when these server killers destroy everything within a month when a server opens. Whatever happen to playing for fun and making new friends ? Also anyway we can make the servers at least a 10 family server over 2 family servers ? I hope you guys can help stop these server killers…!!

Good game, terrible load times. Game is good but load times are crazy, every time I upgrade a building it takes forever to actually load through it. I’m playing on a brand new iPhone X, I think the servers need upgrading

Horrible customer service. Their customer service is non existent. I had a complaint where I didn’t receive a reward for an event and they kept telling me I got the right points, I asked them 3 times to straighten out the problem and they kept denying me. It costs nothing for them to gift me the reward I felt I was due, they acted like I was asking for their first born. Customer service is suppose to make the customer happy within reasonable means, again I wasn’t asking for money or anything crazy just the in game reward I thought I should have received. I did spend a little money in game and would have spent more but now because of very poor customer service I’m done and moving on to another game not owned by this company.

Not that great. The game used to be a lot better, but they made changes to the gameplay format. The format used to be more battle based in each server, now battles are cross server. It‘s difficult to progress your own city‘s growth without spending mony on the game. It becomes boring fairly quickly. I really can‘t recommend the game. It‘s not really fun, it‘s kinda stupid.

An Offer You Can’t Refuse. It’s an official Godfather game. I’m not stupid enough to knock it or I’ll be sleeping with the fishes. It’s a little confusing but a cool app. Especially if you are a fan of the movies, which I am.

Developers allowing bullying. I wouldn’t spend any money on this game. The people that own this promote bullying. They allow for people to tell other people that they need to go to a new server. After spending allot of money on the server there on. They allow 1 person to attack 84 times in a row. It’s a waste to put money on here then get bullied off a server cause the other families don’t want you there. I’m currently not able to use my account cause i’m being attacked every day all the time. There is no rules if there are then they should delete the accounts of every person that does this to another person.

I love the Movie and game But.... If you Have any of the IPhone X line be prepared even though you Amy love the movie it is not yet compatible for the IPhone X series so yeah. The game is great and I love the movie but it would get more if it had compatibility for the IPhone X series would give 5 starts. Please fix this issue

Martial arts studio. For some reason I haven’t been able to see what my actual rank is in the studio. I got the notification that I ranked up but it’s been stuck at s4 for almost a month with the same 1000 points. Please fix it (update: idk how but it’s been fixed as soon as I wrote a report?!)

Where is my gold. Hi, today i entered the game in normal way as usually, and after few attacks i noticed at the right corner were is my gold, it was missing more than 6000 of my gold. I am sure i didnt use for anything u can check that.. so how it is possible ? Waiting for your reply

Bring your wallet. Great game ruined by the people who created it. Customer service is non existent if you aren’t spending money on the game. Great concepts but you will not be able to participate in the best events and will fall quickly behind if you aren’t spending money and lots of it. Developers will create issues to try to get you to spend money. And if you aren’t someone who is spending don’t even bother contacting them with issues. They will tell you they “can’t find it.” If you plan on spending money good chance you will give this game 5 stars because you will be able to enjoy everything involved in the game

Love this game. Very addictive, can play for five minutes or two hours, doesn't get old.

Same old Base Builder. This is a very typical base builder game with a Godfather spin. I happen to enjoy those kinds of games, so that's not a complaint, but the action/combat is subpar and pretty boring. I do however love seeing names and settings I recognize from The Godfather franchise.

An offer you can’t refuse.... Fantastic game! Server vs. server is now live and has really moved the game into the right direction. Only recommendation I would have for the devs is to create more end game/add-ons for big spenders such as myself.

Good game terrible support. The game is fun and addictive. Creates a community escape on line. One person going rogue in a server can cause issues. The developers really only care about how to make more money and just keep releasing more upgrades that need to be purchased. It’s difficult to keep up without spending a lot. Multiple struggles with getting the developers to respond or care about most of the players. Only big spenders matter.

Good game needs improvement. The game is overall awesome! I play daily but the lack of players in the different servers vary wildly. Some servers are dead or ruled by credit cards. Needs improvement to recruit players or join them all together somehow. 3 accounts of this game and only one was mildly worth it

Godfather: Five Families was much better. This game is a money pit. You won’t survive unless you spend a lot of money. Can’t use speed ups to instant attack. They see you coming 15 minutes ahead of time, stupid. Resources take hours to collect , which means you’ll have to spend money to get your mansion past level 17 or so. Five Families was far superior to this game. Very disappointed.

Great game. Great game, you don’t have to spend money or hours grinding if you don’t want to. You can still have a life and play, just shield up for Server wars!

Don’t waste your time (or money!!!!). Been playing the game for over 1-1/2 years, and there’s one thing I noticed... if you don’t have $1000’s... that’s right... thousands of dollars to spend, you WILL NOT ENJOY THIS GAME. The developers have basically set the game up to where it takes a very, very, very long time to gather resources, and grow your boss / Mansion level to level 33 (the highest level available right now)... BUT.... if you have money, and I mean serious F.U. money, you can easily and quickly spend your way to a big mansion. The problem that this creates for people like me, is that the ones who spend the most money can pretty much make the rules for the server that their large mansion is on, so if you get someone with a Napoleon complex and a big bank account, they can pretty much make or break a person’s experience playing this game. I’ve seen people who were great players spend more time than I have building an account with little to no spending... only to finally have enough of their game being ruined by the “Ruling Class”. Make the game take a long time to develop, I’m all for it. Even offer packages for purchase that people can use to make their mansions unique, like many great console games do... but don’t simply enable the gameplay experience to be dictated by individuals who have no involvement with actual game development.

Developers are trash. The developers of this game are only interested in one thing. Your money. They can care less about your game experience. The in game support is such a joke. God forbid you get Miya. Be prepared for an excruciating headache. I’ve played for 5 years and in that time, instead of improving, it’s only gotten worse. They release so many new capos, etc in rapid time, that you can never catch up. Only if you spend. ALOT. And forget about being a devoted daily player and being able to keep up. It ain’t happening. There’s no way to succeed with putting out the big bucks. About 100 or more players got together with suggestions on making the game a better experience for all. It’s been weeks and they choose to ignore us. Sitting behind their fat desks counting their money and really not giving a good crap. Don’t play. Don’t get started. They don’t care. Walk away. Run.

Buyable Troops. I think in my opinion cool game and pretty fun a lot of events always go on. The developers SHOULD put in buyable troops I played The Godfather five families in 2013 and I loved the concept of being able to buy troops it would bring in more money AND you already have to spend gold on stuff in my opinion useless things for the most part might as well make everyone happy and make buyable troops

Customer service. The game requires strategy and a great deal of understanding. Mistakes are made and you can’t be burnt by other players, this is acceptable. What’s bad is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you get caught up in the game you can go for a lot of money. And that’s acceptable if you have it and your enjoying yourself. What is not acceptable is telling “customer service” a problem or identifying that people are cheating by using outside programs and you are ignored. There are no levels of play, you land with players who immediately take advantage, and yes that’s acceptable. But being ignored or asked fir a screen shot of something that requires them to reset, is ridiculous. The game is fun. But without levels or customer assistance. It’s a waste of money. Joe Gag

Need to update asap. Still no cross server wars. No server merges. It was over 11 months ago since they said they were coming. Check every now and then. Can’t really be any worse game than this. It’s a build up and fight game without anybody to fight. Bottom line is developers are horrible. Plus where are any of the reviews from the last 3 months??? All I see are really old reviews on the App Store

Good Game But Old Players Destroy it for new people. Was a very good game and seems to have lots to do but the same players go into every server so doesn’t leave any room for new people to want to stay. You’re always battling other players pockets. This game is a pay to win and no other way about it. If you can’t pay you’ll never be on top and who wants to play a game they never have a chance. The developers are doing great making new servers to try to attract to new people but it’s the same old players that has ruined it.

Spend spend spend. If you want to play this game be prepared to spend a lot of money on it. Everything is expensive in this game. Building, and science center is expensive and take to long to finish. I swear they have employees playing the game and making up the rules on the each server so you have to spend thousands of dollars on this game. Gathering resources is a joke too. I’ve started spending less time on this game and more on others.

Like 2 groups playing. Only a few people play this game and the groups are like sad kids in a basement crying about other groups, the groups associated with this game are even worse than Facebook kids..don,mob,war wow so original and the people on those groups are as pathetic sounding as the names of their groups....as I said don’t waste your time with this pathetic iPad flat screen no depth scroller...

Sean and the customer service. Sean is a complete waste of a paycheck. The guy does nothing to help passes nothing along and game gets worse and worse. iOS bug not allowing Facebook login for multiple accounts has been ignored for 3 months. Game is designed to build you up long enough to get you to spend money. If you want to compete be prepared to spend literally thousands. Developers do not care about players they care about players spending money.

RainbowsNSmiles Disappointed. I am one of the bigger spenders in this game. And recent events have caused me to second guess spending anymore on this game and/or continuing playing altogether. It takes way to long to build up troops and to heal, now you have decided to limit healing which will try to force us to spend $. I am truely disappointed on how quick development was to limit healing but yet SO SLOW to progress the game in other ways...Train? Jail? And basic industry buildings on home screen after m27. I have defended the developers of this game for a long time against other players and its actions like this that make me realize that maybe i was wrong. Id love to talk to developers with some other bigger spenders to discuss ways to improve this game. NOT RECOMMENDED ANYMORE. I loved this game when I first started playing well over a year ago. I had it rated 5* forever. No longer. The developers have gotten so greedy that in order to really compete, you have to spend 10’s of THOUSANDS of dollars. If you have that kind of extra money laying around and want to spend it on a “free” game, go for it. For normal people who don’t mind spending a few dollars here and there, this is no longer the game for us. I will never spend another penny on this game and I encourage everyone else not to either. There are far greater values for your money.

Developer won’t help with purchase. I regularly buy packs on this game and on one occasion I had a problem. I did not receive what I intended to buy. The item I purchased and the one I received were the same cost, but the developers were unwilling to help me. Whether it’s a game error or user error, I am shocked that they won’t help a customer. I won’t be spending on this game again.

Game won’t work. I had to get a new phone a few days ago and now the game doesn’t work for me. I’ve been playing for several months now and really love the game. I have the same phone as before just a newer one. I have the iPhone 6s Plus. At first my issue was that I couldn’t move my map around. When I go to donate I can’t scroll down the list to get what I need to. And then when I go to clear the app and get back on I just get a black screen and after several minutes nothing happens. When I uninstall the app and reinstall the app I can get back into my game but then I still can’t use my map correctly or anything else. I’m back at square 1. It’s been several days of this now and I’m really frustrated over it. I absolutely love this game and really want to be able to play again.

Had to reinstall and start over after a year of playing and also paying for extras. I sent a chat to support and got a 3 word reply. You service is not adequate and I am deeply disappointed.

Basically if you are a new player you stand no chance because you are an easy target for someone who is 1000 times stronger than you. Being bullied because you are a new player is a disgrace to the game. Knowing the creators of the game will do absolutely nothing because all they care money, do not waste your time. I know you will say you don’t condone bullying, but you also do nothing to stop it either. Maybe I should have uses the word abused instead of bullying. Even the ‘support’ staff ignore me. Not answering my questions? Really? Good feeling when even the support staff ignore your concerns

2022 Review. This game is now for well established players… If you are just starting out don’t waste your time. You will get nowhere. Developers need to speed up the upgrades and lower the costs of low lvl building at least up to mansion 31 in order for new players to get any sort of importance and not just be a pray for well established… You could literally spend $5000 and still be absolutely useless in game!

Fun. Good so far

I love it. The game is fun maybe a bit complex but i had à lot of fun playing it.The only problem i found was in the loading Where my game couldnt start for no reason.

No matter how much you spend…. I played this game for 3 years+ and spent countless hours and thousands of dollars along the way. This game is meant to keep the super big spenders happy by giving them new things to spend money on. The result in terms of game play is that the mid tier players fall further behind the top tier. Eventually most get bored and quit and most servers end up with a handful of players out of the thousands there originally. There are people who play this game simply for the social aspect of it as well, which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for. If you have a lot of money and time to piss away then this game is definitely for you.

Cheesy dialogue. Why is everyone calling Don Corleone "Godfather?" Did you guys even read the book or watch the films? This is even sillier than a Frankenstein game with everyone calling the Monster "Frankenstein." Or if everyone called John McClane "Die Hard."

Our. Favorite. Game.. Godfather Family Dynasty is quite simply my favorite gaming app on my phones. I spend each morning at 4:30 a.m. playing it. I enjoy the train station, building our mansion and collecting the Holiday chests is the most fun I have. Training our men is the most important task yet and keeping them in our world is easy as pie! I have never had a problem with this app and I have been playing for 7 mo. I feel at home here and it is a cool place to kick back and relax. I never grow tired of it here and it is my home away from home. Being disabled I can't go out so this is my world. Thank you Godfather ,for making dreams, hopes and wishes come true!

Scam. The developers of this game allow top players to break the rules essentially making the game impossible to play for others. Players use modified software to heal their troops and use multiple accounts to get ahead. For anyone that follows the rules you would need to spend thousands of dollars in order to be competitive. Don’t waste your time or money.

Used to be a fun game. Been playing this game. Developers don’t care about consumers or players. Can’t get the train working, prison etc... but they install some stupid car build aspect. Not to mention most of the servers are dead.

As enjoyable as a hemorrhoid. This “game” if you even want to call it that. Is one of the most lazy excuses of a good time. This game has no audio (which makes no sense) and the entire game is upgrading buildings and watching boring fights of characters you don’t care about without even controlling them to the slightest. Server. Need to combine a couple servers. The one I’m in is dead and people are leaving the game do to the loss of competition. I have stopped making purchases due to the fact that I don’t want to invest in a city of a dead server.

The characters. It’s cool to see just about every character from the movie and it looks like some new characters as well

Corruption and Theft. After playing this game for over a year I can say it is fun, however all my gold and resources disappeared and support was non existent. This basically boils down to theft by the developers. Don’t spend any money on this game it’s a big scam.

Same old Base Builder. This is a very typical base builder game with a Godfather spin. I happen to enjoy those kinds of games, so that's not a complaint, but the action/combat is subpar and pretty boring. I do however love seeing names and settings I recognize from The Godfather franchise.

Great game ruined by GREEDY Devs. It seems the devs are always too busy on vacation on the players expense. This must be why they cant implement nothing fun in the game anymore. How hard can it be to merge literally dead servers. Its also becoming pay to win. With NO way for the non-spenders OR even minor spenders to compete. I will change my rating as i see progress.

Maintenance Issues. If maintenance has ended for server merge than my account MR.E is frozen or locked out saying maintenance is still going on…pls fix and restore my account to previous stats acquired items and rss levels .. fourfive stars normally

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Please do yourself a favor and read through these reviews. All of the negative reviews are saying the same thing. That this is a money trap game with very very poor customer service. I’ve also had my share of horror stories with the games nonexistent customer service team.

Not worth your time. This game was fun until they started the cross server war. It then made you have to spend money buying buffs, healing, etc just to stay alive and keep up with everyone else. They say you can play for free and you can if you want to be the punching bag for everyone else.

Bullying Is Allowed to Continue. Multiple times I have complained to the developers about continuous bullying by specific players. I have submitted screenshots, sent emails, etc...and have been told in no uncertain terms to deal with it. Spend your money on something else.

Terrible. Game is completely unplayable on iOS anymore open the the game to a black screen and nothing happens. Have to delete and reinstall the game to get it to load and it only works once. That’s ridiculous, garbage app by garbage developers

Sweet game. This game is really Good I played it when it first came out on PC like 6 years ago and it's still good.
