Instant Pay is a Farce. I’ve only worked 4 gigs with JJJ. All 4 met the instant pay criteria. I’ve had to chase down my pay on the other three. When I tell you I was paid instantly on the first gig, it was INSTANTLY…like less than 5 seconds after I clocked out. The gigs I’ve worked since then have been met with excuse after excuse about why I’m submitting my time for instant pay, but I’m not getting it. I like that JJJ has a lot of available gigs. I just wish they’d stop being so shady when it comes to money. It’s a JOB if you have to wait to be paid, not a GIG.

Found a Job!. I appreciate picking up shifts last minute when I want to earn money. I was able to score a position within the first hour on my shift. I feel honored because everyone takes there job seriously, joined with friendly faces. The jobs they place you in are good quality and professional positions. I only wish there was more opportunities to pick up shifts.

Worst App Ever. This is one of the worst apps to use for work. I would say skip this app and go to Qwick or Instawork. They lie and tell you that you will receive your money instantly but it doesn’t show up until the next pay period. They will suspend you over nonsense. It’s not worth the time, the anger or the frustration.

Used to be good but now horrible. I had this app for a year I had problems here and there with them changing my instant pay to standard pay even when I met all the requirements but recently I did a couple gig with instant pay and it was going good until my last gig where they said my card was invalid which I didn’t understand since I have been using the same card for months and for several gigs they said I had to change my debit card which I don’t have another one and I explained that to them they said they could not release my funds until I do. I asked them to change to standard pay and they said I couldn’t do that and kept giving me the run around saying they know I’m frustrated but there’s nothing they can do. I still have not gotten paid

Great for temp work. Good app and easy to use Interface. Wish they would tell you when the place removes a job that you already booked. The day come to work only to realize It’s been removed and I have to wait around for something else.

Easy to use gig app. Gigs are generally easy to follow directions and they pay pretty well. I use in the Northeast and I usually get jobs everyday.

I love this app. Thanks to jit jat jo i was able to take care of my family during covid and after, they are always available to answer any questions a person has, and help resolve any issues, always had great jobs close by. Thank you jitjatjo i really appreciate you and all your staff

Not likely will work with them again. I worked 3 days, 3 DAYS and they paid for only two while a rep tried to convince me I was paid. Then when I was I only receive 70% of my payment. The work only came once in a while I do other work for different apps but this one played with my money after the job gave me a hard time. No, no, no. People have children and they waited a whole week to pay me 70% for my hard work??? I could file a complaint with labor department but I would instead warn someone else, do not download this app! They shifty on how they pay you and during a pandemic too? SMH don’t play with people money and send them hundred emails explaining air.

Slow Start but Great Gigs. Once you get a gig, they just keep coming. Especially if you give a good first impression. So easy to use too

Do Any Employers Even Use This App???????. The app looks cute and all but ever since I signed up, waited, deleted the account, redownloaded the app and made a new account I still haven’t received any jobs…AT ALL. So my main question is are there any employers using this app at all? My best friend is having a similarity issue too. One job is posted then the rest of the month….nothing.

Great way to test out jobs!!. If you’re looking for a job or extra income this app definitely helps! Most jobs in my area is at the stadium but its always fun, the pay is good and they give you free food!

What you see is not what you get. There is nothing more frustrating than needing to pay an overdue bill or needing to putting food on the table, picking up a shift thinking that you will be paid instantly, and then not receiving the payment when promised. I have worked two shifts in a row, now where I was eligible for instant pay, and have yet to receive payment. I have reached out to support only to be told that the shift was processed as standard payment even though I have screenshots showing that the shifts are being processed as instant pay. Normally, I’m pretty patient, but I have an empty fridge and past due bills and need money fast. I joined Jitjatjo because It was advertised that I could get paid instantly when I need to and have so far been very disappointed. I would have been better off working for Qwick or even Instacart. They both pay instantly every single time with no issues whatsoever.

Best employer that I’ve worked for.. Ok where do I start m. Best pay rate. Even better than than an undergraduate degree. Jitjatjo is like a blessing from God himself for a mess up like me. Jitjatjo is like affirmative action. The company really wants to help get the most I can from employment and I’m so much in appreciation.

Helped me go back to work 👍🏼. I was unemployed for a while because of the pandemic then I signed up with Jitjatjo a few days ago and already have my first part time job lined up. I can choose which gigs I want to work as they pop up and if you show up on time and tell the place you’re on your way, you get paid quickly. It’s nice because I have kids at home so this let’s me work when I can.

Inconsistent. The app works most of the time. However, on any given day, becomes dysfunctional when attempting to clock in for a shift. Other app features/benefits that are heavily marketed by the company are the “Instant & Quick” pay options. Sadly, these options do not consistently live up to what’s promoted and frequently default to the company’s standard/weekly payout option. Ok app with room for improvement.

Notifications lag. The app doesn’t send sound only silent banners. Making it difficult to grab a shift. It will crash as your accepting a gig then read no longer available. Perhaps add the terms option after accepting the gig as this step before is where most users lose the shift to someone accepting at the same time. Feels like playing a bad video game sometimes.

Works better but company fails instant pay feature. This is my updated review so the app works way better than it did last year and communication is a little better. However the instant pay feature isn’t up to par and it really lags. It was originally designed to pay you with in a 24 hour period. But really the company’s pay out method isn’t all the way upfront on expected deposit times. I worked a 3 day gig and each day I was on time and selected the instant pay feature and it’s been 4 days and I still haven’t seen pay from the each of them. I spoke to a representative and they mentioned the payment is still pending but with no real reasons to why it’s pend after 3 business days and it has nothing to do with my bank.

Silly. Before you install this app, know that it asks you for your information and to make an account before asking you what niches you are experienced in and administering a quiz. I selected Customer Service. The questions were greatly subjective and often had at least two answers that a reasonable person would deem correct. One question asked about my experience is hospitality despite that not being my selection. I scored 6/10 and was rejected. One question asked how you should respond if a customer says they are “just looking”. Possible choices included: “Sure just let me know if you need any help.” as well as something to the effect of asking for some broad information to help get to the root of their problem and two other choices. I selected the first but it seems like body language, eye contact and even age differences could determine that asking another question might be the better option. Ironically there was also a question on what percentage of communication with a customer is made through body language (you’re expected to know the exact percentage… as if that could ever be quantifiable and applied to everyone). So if you’re actually looking for a gig, spending the ten minutes on this app is kind of like roulette. The quizzes are gimmicks to make employers feel like they’re filtering out nincompoops when it’s really a crap shoot.

Unprofessional. Flex is very unprofessional they don’t like to pay for gigs that you worked they say that they do insta pay but for some reason it’s always a problem I don’t recommend this app too ppl that’s looking for insta pay job’s payroll don’t ever answer and they won’t return your call and you will never get a straight answer from them no matter what you saying to them

The very BEST Work APP in the city!!. I have been nothing but satisfied with JitJatJo. The agency has offered excellent work opportunities at amazing venues all over New York City. The flexibility and pay rates are at and above industry standards and the personnel at the company have been very supportive. If I could give them 6 stars ⭐️ I would. If your looking for temp work, this is a must have APP!!!

Cook-line…pantry…. Based on my 2 days work experience through Jithatjo at Ferris Booth Commons, I found this place is AMAZING to work. Management is great, people are amazing, helpful, polite & happy. And, happy employee gives best performance. Happiness comes from great management and leadership. Poor management leads conflicts and low performance among the employees. All the employees are giving best performance at here, because as we enter through the entrance; we can feel great customer service and it goes beyond. Respect and values among the employees is great. Overall, great place, superior & fast customer service, amazing management team, great employees and equality and great values for all employees!!

Great app. The management team is a great team they work just as hard as we do in the field, always pushing us and giving us new valuable information and opportunities. And always available if I need them very caring and considerate each time I speak to them.

Help me!!. I used to receive gigs all the time but now it seems like i only get 2 gigs a month and i have many positions i fill along with an open availability. The text notification for the gig comes in late.

Excellent work app. I’m recommend this app because is flexible; you can make your own schedule and that heals me to study and travel.

This is a scam. They do not let you use instant pay even if you meet all the requirements They said they mailed me a check although my direct deposit was set up I’ve met the requirements of instant pay multiple times and never been able to cash out I’ve been working for 2 weeks and never received a payment yet, and the only thing The customer service employees and payroll employees can say is they can’t do nothing about it They couldn’t help me Figure out why instant pay isn’t working. I’ve been told multiple times that someone will get back to me And during this 2 weeks I’ve worked for them I still haven’t received a call mind you It just turned Saturday So they had 5 business day a week to call me. This is going to result in a Lawsuit ! It’s false advertising to get people to work for them On top of it all they lied about my $25 bonus for completing the basset training. Please Do research before Downloading because this was a waste of my time

Bartender. Works best as filler shifts, gigs go very fast and can sometimes be frustrating to book based on response time overall good experience so far, Wish they remained more competitive pay wise with other gig apps, could definitely work with having better onsite management and worker representatives when arriving to gigs can be very challenging not having a proper point person or voice to represent us

Waist of time. Wouldn’t recommend this app. As soon as a job is offered it disappears immediately once you click to book it. The talent acquisition manager is strange and not helpful. Tried communicating about uploading my documents like my food handlers certificate and alcohol training certificate but it kept getting rejected by the manager without a valid reason. My documents are excepted by all other employers and apps that I work for. Don’t waste your time interviewing and onboarding it’s not worth it.

Didn’t get paid / clock out. I’ve been doing catering for years for other companies. I gave Jitjatjo a shot. Terrible experience. First shift they clock me out for no reason. I was already in the location working. The whole shift was fine as usual. Then I just didn’t get paid. I wasn’t instructed well for them filling out my W4 and get a ZERO dollar check.

Can’t use. I am using an old phone due to mine breaking and cannot work due to the app requiring the latest update rather than any version being able to used. I have no space for the IOS update no matter how much it seems I delete. So much work to grab but cannot until I get a different phone which is looking very meek atm

JitJatJo Rocks. Love my job. Supervisors, management all the employees from JitJatJo that I work with are very nice and understanding. I will gladly recommend other people who qualify to register for JitJatJo. My every day is a new challenge for myself trying to elevate my production each day. I love the fact that JitJatJo gives me room to improve myself and my skills and if I do they make sure that they recognize it and they honor you with a promotion. JitJatJo is the way to go if you want to stay busy .

unprofessional. They don’t care about it’s workers just the businesses that are listed! jobs can lie on you and they will side with the job! At 8 months pregnant i have been harassed and treated unfairly and poorly and flex didn’t do anything but add a strike or penalty! They refused to keep me and my unborn safe and they sided with the business and now i have a lawsuit against both the business and the terrible app! customer service is ridiculous as they answer very slow although it says they are online! I would not recommend them at all! thank god for workers rights at the eeoc! because this app is no good for consumers like myself looking for gig work!

Not allowing me my instant after I qualified for it. Not good it said I can get instant pay but I have been having problems since I started I did my first 3 gigs and it’s still giving me problems cashing out instantly I did everything right and they don’t seem like they can help with sending me my money but it do have cool gigs but the app is not good that’s why I give it a 1 star

Don’t even waste your time .. It’s all fun & games in the beginning. You get a few gigs & you think they are great but after things gets serious & you have issues about not receiving money or trying to contact someone about an important matter that’s when you see this company for who they really are . Don’t even waste your time . They reply when they want to and you can never get in contact with anybody when things go wrong . I will be deactivating my account with these clowns

Not Worth It. Possibly the worst gig app I’ve ever encountered! I only worked one gig with them and that ended up being enough for me. The app itself is glitchy—I received a suspension because the app wouldn’t let me clock in for the shift I worked, and afterwards it was a battle to get that resolved. The customer support is disjointed, ineffective, slow to respond or follow up, and at times incomprehensible in their responses. Payment is another nightmare: I received 5 bizarre emails in a row telling me I was paid in varying amounts for the shift without anything entering my account. And, true to form, the resulting interaction with customer service was absolutely baffling. Truly frustrating, look elsewhere.

JitJatJo is Great!!!. It’s the best app for kitchen based gigs and if you work gigs for same place you can definitely get requested for more days!!!! As far as the instant pay it comes the next day that is the only thing I can say that is a bit off . But other than that it’s great and as far as the team to get help everyone is very helpful to all questions. If your looking for great gigs join ASAP

Lacks proper pay communication. This is a review in September 2023. The app claims instant pay within 24 hours and I have worked 2 gigs and was on time and marked I’m on my way. I did everything to have the shift elegible for instant pay. It has been 4 days and I am yet to see my compensation for the shift worked. When you text the chat for help they respond days later, if at all. Honestly really disappointing and why I decided to leave the app.

The worst gig app I’ve encountered.. The app will not allow me the opportunity to apply for positions. I attempted to create a profile and for every position I list from Bartender to prep cook it reads no results. When I try to move forward, I get the prompt “ position ids cannot be blank”, yet every position brings no results. I tried this app 2 years ago. I started a profile. I logged out and went back in at a later time to finish setup. The app would not allow me to add recent experience. Qualifying me for low paying positions. Some things will never change this app the worst gig app in the industry.

Instant Pay Fails. I’m a little perplexed by all the 5 star reviews... I worked for this company for a couple years and did a lot of gigs with them. I hung in there because I was rooting for the app to get better. The work is fun, but the app is a disaster. At least 1 in 3 gigs did not pay on time. I spent valuable free time chasing down my “Instant Pay”, which often came 10 days later. At first it was just when the app malfunctioned, but then it would happen when the app was working fine. Jit Jat Jo would always remind me that Instant Pay was not guaranteed- but when I would go on Craigslist looking for new jobs to replace JJJ I would always see their ads “Flexible Work- Instant Pay”. Not cool at all. Service industry workers generally work paycheck to paycheck and NYC is expensive, so it’s unacceptable to run a business this way. The rep from HR would reason with me that I should “understand” the situation- they were expanding to Washington DC and Chicago. My answer to that is that no company should expand if they can’t deliver what they advertise. Either fix the Instant Pay, take it out of your advertising all together or keep working on it as a “beta feature” letting each and every worker know before hand that it is not an actual feature but one that is being tested. I see that the company is switching over to essential worker jobs, which I commend. But if they keep advertising Instant Pay and not delivering, that’s going to be a problem.

GREAT FIRST EXPERIENCE. I can’t say enough about how great of an experience I’ve had from the time of onboarding to the completion of my first gig & everything in between. The entire team was very helpful & i felt that at the end of my interview, if selected to join the platform i would have tons of opportunities to find a gig right for me & i was absolutely right. Don’t hesitate to join , you’ll be glad you did.

Seen worst but nothing not much better. The app itself is fine. Talent support is lacking in many areas. Do not rely on them they’ll fail you. Also there tax rate is absolutely ridiculous. Almost always take 25% of the days pay away and I’ve reviewed my taxes several times. Something very fishy there. Better apps out there.

Poor just poor. I signed up over a month ago did a phone interview submitted my paper work way before the deadline of 9/24 I tried messaging them and no response for weeks. I can only imagine what happens if I work and don’t get paid because there’s no one here to answer any questions or emails. Just a poor app use Uber driver app to make fast money the same day. Hard to book gigs. I’ve been with JJJ 3 years and really appreciate this app as well as the many gigs I have gotten with many great businesses. Also the relationships I built with employers, where they requested me to work in their company often. I am grateful for this. Lately it is nearly impossible to book my favorite places. The app takes way too long to switch from the notification page unto the link page for the job. By the time you click on invites, there is buffering for too long which makes you lose your chance at getting the gig In other words it has become stressful to book a job because its a race for time that involves watching the app so you can hit the buttons quickly. I spoke to JJJ about this. I update my availability alot but unfortunately I have given up on getting a job here. I just wish they would fix this so its not so much of a first come,first served get a job. I barely have a chance to read the job information because the job is already booked by someone in a millisecond All in all JJJ is great to work for and I have referred people

TERRIBLE APP- STRONGLY NO RECOMMENDATION. One of the worst gigs out there. People only use this app when they are banned from the legitimate apps. They’re instant pay is not instant, I’ve been waiting for days 3 days for “instant” pay. They also RARELY have job listings. In 4 months on the app, I’ve book 3 jobs total! This app is complete garbage.

The worst HR service. This company doesn’t care about how good of a job you do at your job. They will remove jobs from you and not except doctors notes. They just use you to work and if you have a mishap they will cancel you from working. Don’t rely on a company that only cares for themselves.

Do Not Try. I would give 0 stars if possible. I signed up for this “company” more then 2 years ago. I gave them way too much personal info, also went through quizzes and verification processes in false hopes of making some money. I haven’t received even ONE job in the 2 YEARS since I’ve handed out my information.

Don’t do it. Horrible!!! There are no gigs to grab!! Even when you try to grab it, it’s not even available!! So you’re constantly being offered gigs that aren’t actually available or have already been taken!

Jit Jat JOKE. Jit jat joke a friend called it and they weren’t lying been on this app several years it used to be An ok app now it’s a joke try to get a gig just try! When you FINALLY get a notification and click on the gig it’s fully booked 🤷🏽‍♀️ all ways booked im over it I don’t recommend this app at all just go get a job if you can find one 0/10

Excellent platform. Really happy for the opportunity. It was real easy on boarding and for my first day of work. The commute was not too far and the shift responsibilities were simple.

Flex is easy to use. The Flex app is easy to use. I was able to apply, get an interview, and start working quickly.

Didn’t get paid / clock out. I’ve been doing catering for years for other companies. I gave Jitjatjo a shot. Terrible experience. First shift they clock me out for no reason. I was already in the location working. The whole shift was fine as usual. Then I just didn’t get paid. I wasn’t instructed well for them filling out my W4 and get a ZERO dollar check.

Took long to get booked but I eventually did. Great place they send you an that matters!
