Doesn't Sync & Asks for a lot of Data. This app is garbage. I specifically was looking for a habit tracker that I could synce with my phone/apple watch/iMac. I was so excited when I found Habitfy on a list of highly rated habit tracking apps, that I immediately purchased the $50 lifetime subscription. BIG MISTAKE. I spent hours after my purchase trying, unsuccessfully, to sync the desktop app to my apple ID account. I read on their website that you have to link your Apple ID, a google account, AND another email address in order to sync across devices. Even though this is EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS (why would they need access to so much information just to sync a few habits???) I still went ahead and tried it. Didn't work, of course. I tried to reach out to their tech support as well, but no response. If you click "Help" on the desktop app it literally says "Help is not avaiable for Habitfy"LOL I've requested a refund because the app does NOT function as advertised. I have other apps that sync accross iCloud with just a click of a button and work seamlessly. This is absolute GARBAGE.

Buggy—Lost all of my data. I’ve been enjoying using this app for its interface and detailed system for reminding you to complete your habits. That said, I’ve noticed constant bugginess with the way that data is displayed under progress and in other places on the app, and trying to sign in to an account deleted all of my existing data and habits I had tracked for the past week or so of using it. I would have been devastated had that data been for a longer period of time. While I would still prefer to use this app over other habit tracking apps in general, I would recommend taking time to try it first to see if it’s more stable than it is on my device.

This was my “go-to” habit tracking app and they have fixed the bugs!!. Fortunately, this new update is has fixed the bugs in functionality that I brought up as an issue with a previous rating & review. The timer does use the defined values you set for it and now you can only use the timer for minutes in intervals of 1. Thank you so much Habitify team for your efforts to get these issues fixed with such a quick turn around! Your work is greatly appreciated!

Worth the $$ for premium. I have been trying a few apps to help with regular reminders and habit building, but all fell short of what I needed as an adult with ADHD. This one has been my favorite so far. I tried the free version for a few days, but upgraded after I felt I would like it even more with all the options. With the premium subscription, I can add multiple reminders for one habit and it’s easy to log successes. Having a widget is a huge plus, as is the Apple Watch pairing so I have different ways to log progress.

Gives you super powers. Made me realize how to achieve any skill I want in life through consist practice and creating a habit of it. It’s like a super power for any goal I have in life — I add it to my daily routine and use this app to stick to it. Those little daily habits, exercised daily grow and transform you. Whether it be improving my career or health or financial success, I figure out what I need to do daily to achieve those goals, add it to the app, stick to it and achieve. I feel like I discovered a superpower in life.

The best way to stay accountable to your goals. I’m a huge fan of Habitify’s gorgeous interface and easy way to focus on what’s next. I love how you can separate your tasks by morning, afternoon, and evening — to keep yourself on track with your routines! You can also schedule habits to repeat only on certain days such as if you go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and want to track that. Finally, you can review your progress with the detailed analytics! It’s important for me to be accountable and the fear of missing a day keeps me on top of my habits. Thank you for creating this awesome app 😄🤙🏻

Throttled before I can determine if worth subscribing. Can’t even get started with this one. I’m unwilling to pay for something I don’t know can meet the need. The free version only allows 3 items for a routine. That may be enough for some but if that’s all I had, I’d stick with fridge notes. I just now saw a similar review with a response of an offer for a free week of premium. While that is nice, imo the time investment of setting up routines potentially for only one week of use is not worth it. No charge for 10-15 items would be useful. If it does what I need, I’d pay just to get rid of ads/in app purchases. If there are other benefits to subscribing, even more reason to pay. But to be throttled before I’m out of the gate? No thanks.

Money Grab. The app works fine, but you only get three habits to track and then it asks you for money. I expected it to cost somewhere in the ballpark of 5-10 dollars for the whole program which is more than reasonable for what it is, but they want an annual fee of $25! Alternatively you can buy the entire program for a one time fee of $50 or pay a monthly fee of $5 (which again should be a one time cost for the entire program). Let's be clear here; this is an app that sends reminders to you and gives you a virtual high five when you've accomplished your task. That's it. Nothing fancy about any of it. The interface is nice, but is it worth $50? Absolutely not. There are over 200 ratings on this app; if hypothetically 200 people liked the program enough to spend 10 dollars on it that would mean the programmers would have made somwhere around $20,000 dollars and I can guarantee you that it took a fraction of that to actually make this thing. The price point on this program is absoletely ludicrous, and it would appear the main habit the developers wish to instill in users is the one that puts money into their (devs) pockets. Hard pass from me.

Best so far but could be better. I like that I can complete habits from my watch. I won’t stick to it otherwise. But the watch interface could be better. The little widget bar that looks like it should show progress doesn’t. It always looks like 2/3 of my habits are done. Clicking on notifications lets you “check in” but I don’t think that’s the same as marking it “done” and I’m not convinced it does anything at all. I’d like to be able to mark the habit as completed at that point. Marking it as complete involves a deep dive into the interface—and I get it, not much screen real estate to work with, but it’s harder to use than it needs to be. I’d rather see the completed:skip options show up right away, before is it done or not instead of after. The only other complaint is no possibility for longer habit cycles. The habits are tied to specific days. That’s not great for the neurodivergent brain. I’d love the ability to track habit over a week. There are loads of things I need to do at least once a week but trying to force them weekly (eg must be Tuesday rather than at least once but could be any day) makes me less likely to do them. It means I need to keep some other list outside of the app and make the in-app habit really generic (like “exercise” with some external weekly specific exercise list) and then I have no way of tracking things like do I habitually ignore particular exercises.

Nice interface, data export, and superior service.. Overall Habitify has been simple and powerful without getting in the way of the point - tracking habits. As a data hoarder, the ability to export data is fantastic. I had an issue with the premium purchase and service resolved it immediately. Beyond that, the app actually has a chat feature for feedback, which tells you how serious they take feedback and customer service.

Great app, but.... I’m really enjoying this app. The straight forward interface and simple design don’t distract from what is important: sticking to my habits. I do wish there was the ability for more customization in how often you do the habit. While the current options work for most of my habits, I have a few that need to be completed every other week, monthly, or sometimes quarterly. Currently I have these habits set to once a week and I just skip off weeks, but that requires I go into the habit’s calendar to see when I did it last. Which is a little annoying, as it takes away from the straight forward aspects I like about the app. It’d be so much easier if the habit just appeared in my list the day I had to do it, like my weekly habits.

Don’t use the mood tracker. I love this app for about 70% of its features. If you try to use the mood features at all and write notes about your mood (as the app prompts you), you’ll only be able to see those notes for a month. Then the app kicks them into a void. I’ve reached out multiple times to try to get a copy of all the notes I’ve entered and they basically just tell me it’s not possible and maybe it’ll be something they implement at some undisclosed time in the future. Very frustrating to know I used the features as intended and they were basically erased and are now unobtainable. The app works fine and as intended for all other habit tracking.

Exactly what I needed!. I had just told my friends I needed a manager for my life and this is it! It’s not a todo list but it’s a way of building healthy habits and ridding myself of bad ones. It’s perfect and now I can keep track of all the many things I need to do in a day. It syncs across all devices and desktop as well. I rarely write reviews however this app is a game changer. Thank you so much for creating a this!

Excellent app! But.... I’d like to say that I don’t leave reviews often, but this app has been an essential part of my daily routine, and it’s definitely one of the best habit tracking apps I’ve come across. The developers are constantly making updates based on user feedback, and it’s easy to tell how much care they put into the app. The only thing that is stopping me from giving the full 5 stars, however, is the lack of a few key functions I’d like to see: a) The ability to sort habits. It’d be great to be able to categorize habits by color and keep them better organized, and I know many other habit tracking apps come with this feature. b) More options for recurring habits. At the moment, it is only possible to set habits to repeat on certain days of the week, or set them to x number of times per week. I’d appreciate the option to set habits to occur every x days, or multiple times a day, for example. I understand that the app is always being updated, so if these options are one day added, I will update my rating to 5 stars. With a bit of work, I can easily see this app become one of the best of its kind.

Great habit tracking app!. This is a great app to track your habits. If you want to get on a better routine and learn some new good habits then this app is for you. I was considering another app to do this but the price was subscription based and a little steep but Habitify allows you to unlock all premium features with a 1 time in-app purchase of $10 which is more than reasonable. The only critique I could give this app so far is I wish you could setup one habit to occur during multiple times of day such as morning and evening.

Wonderful. I love this app and I plan on using it for a really long time! I love the progress feature and how you can look back and see what improvements you've made and where. Request to developers: Would it be possible to add a feature to see our past progress for all time? Right now the maximum you can see is for the current year and the past year. It would be cool if you can see your progress over multiple years. Thanks!

Great app - not subscription based. Tried others however i was not willing to go the subscription way. I tried this and other apps and eventually came back to this one. Gladly paid the one time in app purchase. The app itself is clean and simplistic (in a good way). Great companion Apple Watch app too!! Only suggestion is to be able to go into a habit and edit it for just one day or a couple of days. For example, I have one habit to do morning back stretches after waking up in the morning and I have a Habitify reminder set at 6:45 am every weekday. I would like to change it to 7:30 am on the weekends but unless I missed something, there is no way to edit the current habit to accomplish this. It seems that you would have to creat a new habit (for weekend days only) and set the reminder for a later time.

From $ to $$$$$$. This is an okay habits app that I’ve been playing around with for a couple of weeks (free trial mode: three habits, MAX). I was considering paying the $10 one-time fee to unlock a “lifetime membership” to use the full version (FOUR OR MORE habits, yippeee!). But just now, all of a sudden, the $10 “lifetime” option has vanished and been replaced with a subscription scheme in which the same $10 would last not for a “lifetime”, but for two or three MONTHS. And then you get to pay it again, and again, and again, ad infinitum. I *might* be willing to pay a dollar a month on a continuing basis for this app, but I’m sorry, it ain’t worth sixty bucks a year. Buh-bye!

I've tried them all. I've tried every habit tracking app on the app store and this is the ONLY one that is worth the money. Better yet, it's got a one time purchase option instead of a subscription. Also, they allow you to recommend and vote on upcoming features with the community. THAT is the one thing that really let me know this is the app for me. They're always trying to improve.

Good, but desperately missing numerical inputs (rather than just checks). The app is easy to use, beautiful and slick. The execution of this app was better than each competitor, which is why i keep coming back to it. The reason I keep ditching it, though, is that competing apps allow you to set up habits which input a number, rather than just a check box. This simple feature is extremely versatile. With it, you can track your daily time on something, the number of X you did and much more. It would fit perfectly with all the beautiful visualizations that Habitify has. I wish Habitify would just implement this, so I could finally setting on an app that both did everything I wanted and worked smoothly.

Great app, awesome support. Not realizing that I had been using a guest account for over a year, when I signed in with an account to the Mac app and then to the iOS app all my habits and histories were deleted. Working through the in-app chat feature, the friendly and helpful support was able to quickly find my old guest account and then merge everything to my named account, recovering all my habits and histories. I had thought for sure everything would be gone, very thankful for the developer for the fix!

Like it. I really like it, so far. I can edit previous days if I missed checking in, change order of habits. I love that I can change the view between all or time of day. And I love the ease of scrolling through the history and easily seeing days habit was completed or not. The only reason for one star off - I wish there was a way to change the color of tasks so that I can group them together and easily see that grouping. Seeing just blue everywhere is not as interesting and it makes would be so much easier to gauge the day seeing all health habits in red, finance habits in green, etc.

Doesn't sync w macOS and they know this. I emailed support to ask why macOS version doesn't sync and was told: "We are so sorry for your bad experience with Habitify. Since the update version is only released on phone, not the MacOS yet, it causes the issue about the synchronization among platforms. Our developer team is working on completing Habitify on all other platforms as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I hope you can use the mobile app and web app for a better experience. If you have any problem, please let me know." There is another review her from May sayign the same thing. They're selling a premium product whic proports to sync on their website and that's a main feature/benefit of paying and they know it doesn't work. The app is ok other than that not great but the abovei is just straight up false advertising.

Helps understand and plan a day. I've been a daily user for a year or so. It is a great way to plan a day and being able to focus by allowing me to only show what I need to do by time of day, which keeps me from feeling overwhelmed with all I want to do. The automatic health data entry is critical for healthy habits since it reduces the friction of adopting the habit, and instead makes the feature more about accountability. I'm not sure what I would change if I could change anything, sometimes there's syncing bugs, and I wish the app would not send a reminder notification to do a habit that I've already completed earlier in the day. Maybe walkthroughs, insights, and suggestions how I should interpret and make changes from the progress reports. Atoms from the guy who wrote Atomic Habits recently added a new app that introduced some things that I like about it, such as encouragement to never miss twice, reflecting on the habit, interaction flow decisions at habit creation that teach how to define good habits and make them stick.

Best UI of any habit tracker. This app is so great because it knows it’s an iOS app. All the other popular habit apps do some combination of non-standard interactions. I also like how with this app, only one day is shown on a screen. I’ve seen a trend where some apps show an entire week at once, please don’t do this! I went for the one-time purchase and am very happy. My only problem is that the text is a little too low contrast, I’d prefer using the default iOS text color options. Also, I hope the icon gets redesigned, but that’s minor. Neither are enough to stop it from being 5 stars. Edit: since my review they redesigned the icon and improved the contrast of text. Very nice! I love how this app feels like a unique app that still feels like it belongs on iOS, instead of doing all sorts of non-iOS things like other apps.

Unsubscribe. This app doesn’t give clear direction on how to opt out of email marketing, which violates the law - One such law is the US’s CAN-SPAM legislation. This law, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission, states clearly that you must include a clearly obvious way for subscribers to opt out of your commercial messages: Tell recipients how to opt out of receiving future email from you. Your message must include a clear and conspicuous explanation of how the recipient can opt out of getting email from you in the future. Craft the notice in a way that’s easy for an ordinary person to recognize, read, and understand. Creative use of type size, color, and location can improve clarity. Give a return email address or another easy Internet-based way to allow people to communicate their choice to you. You may create a menu to allow a recipient to opt out of certain types of messages, but you must include the option to stop all commercial messages from you. Make sure your spam filter doesn’t block these opt-out requests.

Easy to Use. I’ve used one other habit building app regularly, but I switched to this one. I love that for one price (and you can’t accidentally forget to sign in and lose your purchase) you can have it on your phone and iPad. That’s huge for me. Additionally, this app is so much for simpler to navigate. When I want to add a new habit, I type it in, and I’m good to go. I don’t have to categorize it, pick a color, and on and on. Finally, this gets 5 stars because it’s so easy to use. It has the feel of a daily checklist, almost. I don’t have habits for every single day (some are 3x week, etc.), but it helps remind me what my goals for the day are. And finally, that progress screen is so cool. While I love the idea of not breaking the chain, or whatever it is called, it is obviously not realistic unless I underset my goals. Watching the improvement is nice.

Best habit tracking app. Hi! This is by far the best habit tracking app IMO. I love all of the features and the flow of the app. I do have some minor requests: 1. I have been trying to make an account to access the community and I’m not receiving the validation email. 2. With timers, could you make it so when you end the habit early it doesn’t discard your entire session? Ex: I spend 45 min reading but set a timer for 60 min - I currently have to discard the 45 min and then log the time manually - makes more sense to log the 45 min or better yet - give an option to log. 3. The desktop app is a little lacking - doesn’t show miles/grams/minutes at all so if I’m tracking minutes read I have no indication of how many min I’ve read unless I check my iPhone/iPad. This isn’t that big of a deal as I rarely use the desktop app - but would be nice to have it completely synced with the iOS apps Overall wonderful app - prefer this over strides and all other habit trackers I’ve tried. Thank you Habitify.

This app could be so much better if the devs had a vision for it.. This app has potential. My main problem is the lack of HealthKit integration. It has a few but baffles me as to the ones it picks and all the ones it leaves out. I tried to make a suggestion to the devs about things that would make it better. But to do that you have to register with another site and then let users vote on them. Designing and app by public option to me is a terrible way to operate and tells me they have zero clues about the way forward. Not to mention this other site never sent me a registration email to even post my suggestions. My opinion is to use another app. Streaks comes to mind if you want deep HealthKit integration.

Solid, Good Support. I’ve been using Habitify for a few days now. The next morning after buying the premium package I ran into an issue. I had a response from support within minutes and a fix later that day! I wouldn’t mind different options for categorizing habits instead of morning/afternoon/evening. The best solution for me is to mark all habits as “anytime” and then ordering them the way I want. I added emojis to help visualize habits for self care, cleaning, exercise, etc. Maybe a color/tagging system or custom option in addition to times of day would be good?

Good start. This app is very good if one is building habits under no or little time constraints. I need to see my day at a glance but the app only shows chunks of time by morning, afternoon, evening, anytime. Also there is a limit to the number of tasks for each chunk of time EVEN WITH A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP. Is there an option to have completed tasks fall off automatically? And future dates? How can we build habits in a vacuum? There aren’t any future dates to rearrange tasks for unforeseen events which would enable us to continue the particular habit at a different time of day. Maybe you could offer these services at another membership level with a slight increase in price. I am disappointed at being so constrained in using the app.

Update ruined app. There used to be a stat page that showed a ratio of how many habits you had finished in a day. They got rid of it. It makes the app unusable to me now because I try to hit 20 habits a day. Without that number, my goal doesn’t work. They also got rid of the yearly stats which showed progress and frequency of your habits. They got rid of that too. I paid for the lifetime subscription because the old app was exactly what I wanted. It never occurred to me that they would update it and actually remove things from the app. I wish I had got the monthly subscription so I could cancel. $40 down the drain. I’ll be looking for a new app. Based on comments on other reviews it doesn’t seem like they are going to bring back any of the features they dropped.

Great idea but not worth premium. I I think it’s a great app but completely not worth the cost. There are other free apps that do the same thing. The company really should look into other services and allow people to use the free version of the app for as many goals as they want to set and that would make me more likely to purchase the premium package. But where it’s at right now they are charging to do pretty much the same thing that Apple reminders do. I do want to make it clear that I was not looking for something for nothing. I was searching for an app like this with the intent of purchasing a premium version. But I do not feel that the services that they are charging for are worth the payment they should offer free services for free such as setting the goals setting the times and setting reminders. I think that they could look into some more creative things to offer their clients that would propel them and influence them to buy the premium version. If they revamp their style and start charging for their services I would definitely consider subscribing to their service but until then I’m going to continue to getting the things that they charge for free from the apps that I currently have on my phone.

Great for tracking. This app has all the features I wanted and, most importantly, is designed to be simple and intuitive. I’ve tried keeping track of habits like going to bed on time, eating three healthy meals a day, working out three times a week, etc. using other apps like Wunderlist or even a to do list, but that’s not what they are designed for. I like being able to look at my streaks and see what days are most difficult for me to complete. Highly recommend this app.

Promising and well designed. I like the app so far. Been using it for a few days and think it strikes a nice balance. Cross platform macOS and iOS support was key for me but I do not that there isn’t feature parity particularly with the grouping habits by area feature. I’ve set up work and personal areas on iOS but can’t see these on the desktop app. I also note that the last update to the iOS app was 2 months ago at the time of writing this review. That seems a bit stale for what’s supposedly a popular app so I hope the developer is making enough money to stay afloat and has the desire to push forth. I’d hate to commit to abandonware. That said I highly recommend giving it a go. Quite a nicely designed app for basic habit tracking with thoughtful features like notes, skip, etc. Also seems to have per habit xcallback support though I’ve not tried it yet.

Dead Simple. I open this app to check off my habits. It has no frills, and that makes it dead simple to use and makes me want to use it. It has some dashboard / visualization features to track your progress, but they don't get in your way if you are just opening the app to check something off. There is also an option to export your data and take it elsewhere if you want. Sync features work well across multiple macOS and iOS devices.

Minimal and effective. When you want to create new habits or quit the bad ones, you want an app that doesn’t distract you. I tried a ton of them, however, they always had limitations in the way I wanted to track my progress. I finally found Habitify, the best balance between UI/UX that is sleek and minimal, and at the same time offering a very powerful way of organizing your routines and habits during the day, in folders, etc. I went for the lifetime subscription and I haven’t regretted at all. One of the best app purchases I’ve made.

Good, could use an update. I like this app a lot! I like that it links with my Apple Watch perfectly!!! And you can customize any habit (good or bad). I appreciate the challenges as well. As far as improvements go, I wish you could go back a day and log that you did your habit for the previous day. I work night shift sometimes and so there are times when I keep my sleep schedule on my days off and I do my habit after midnight but it hasn’t switched days yet for me. Or I realize I forgot to log my habit and then it looks like I didn’t do it when I did. I also wish I could go above and beyond and log that I did my habit for more days than my goal is. So if I have a goal of going to the gym 4 days a week and make to the gym 5 days that week, I can’t log that 5th day and and be an overachiever. I have a goal of walking so many miles a week and that is synced with my Apple Watch, so when I walk more than my goal number of miles it does log that overachievement but not habits that you have to manually enter.

Best App For Habit Tracking. I love this app. I’ve tried numerous habit tracker apps and by far this one takes the win in my opinion. It’s about forming small positive habits that won’t overwhelm you daily. Those small positive habits with improve your life drastically and your production will natural increase in life just as a byproduct alone of those habits. This app helps you stay on track daily to make sure that your turn your goals into reality by tracking your daily habits so that they become just a natural part of your routine. Even if that small habit is just simply drinking a glass of water at the moment of wake up in the morning. When you track it and get your returns and reports about your habits it makes it easy to stay in track. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to build positive daily habits. This will not help you break old bad habits because that is awhile separate topic on its own, but amazing for building new ones. Hope this review helps!

Really enjoying it so far. After trying a couple of habit tracker apps, I’ve landed on Habitify and it’s my favorite of the bunch. I find it to be clean, pretty intuitive, works on both iPhone and iPad (rather than the zoomed view on iPad which I don’t like), syncs nicely, and just appeals to me aesthetically more than the others I’ve tried. I don’t mind the lack of color coding, I usually find that to be kind of annoying/not useful. My only qualm at the moment is that some of my habits only need to be completed a certain number of times per week or once per week, but it only counts a day as “complete” if you do all of your tasks, including the ones that don’t need to be completed that day. I’m totally being petty but I haven’t gotten any “complete” days because of this even though I did all my -daily- tasks plus one or two weekly tasks, and dang it I want to get a complete day! :) It could be that there’s a setting I’m missing somewhere that will change that. In any case, it’s a great app, does all I need it to do in an appealing way, and will be using it for all my habit tracking needs!

Phenomenal tool to help you be your best self. This apps UI is awesome, and their key differentiator that made me choose them over “Productive Habit Tracker” was the one time cost of $9.99 for lifetime use. Most habit apps look to charge a monthly subscription... Habitify does not. This app contains two main ingredients that lead to personal success. Habit formation and metrics. 1) Habit formation: This app helps you form habits, small incremental life improvements geared toward your larger life goals. These habits are gamified by “streaks” or elongated periods of time in which you crush your daily habits multiple days in a row. 2) Metric: What can be measured can be improved. This app has got metrics and info galore. It helps me see if I falter, how well I’m doing and is direct correlated with the question. “Am I working towards my life goals” Lastly, I’d pair this with actually thinking about your life and the big changes that you want to make in it.

Excellent and intuitive. As a “true habits” (i.e., things you can or should do, but not necessarily, as opposed to tasks or to-dos) tracker, Habitify shines. However, I’ve started using it beyond that domain, to make sure I don’t forget other important things for which a full-fledged task manager would be overkill, such as taking my medicines or taking the trash out. Highly intuitive and effective, I recommend Habitify highly. My only wish, already being a premium user, would be that they supress the annoying popups for other apps. Excellent job otherwise.

Even better with the latest update. Original review (abridged): Habitify has a really nice design, and I love the various charts and reporting and the way that it displays that information. What I'm really hoping for before I'm going to be able to seriously use it are two things: 1) The ability to track a habit multiple times 2) Better entry for time-based habits Hopefully those features might be considered at some point! The first one is unfortunately the dealbreaker for me currently. Updated: The latest update appears to have mostly fixed my two previous concerns, so I'm hoping to make Habitify my full time habit tracker moving forward. It appears that I can still only enter time tracking in minutes (so sleep for 420 min instead of 7 hours), but the time entry itself seems more streamlined instead of being a totally separate step from checking off the habit, so definitely an improvement there. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful features, forced subscription. I would have given five stars, but to use all the features the app offers, I wasn’t given the option for a premium trial period. To try the premium version, I had to buy into a subscription. I am grateful for the multiple daily mood tracking and visual trends. All other apps I found, only allow one mood per day (laughable). I love the customization, and again, the ability to visually track trends. (Can I give 4.5 stars?)

Great but needs a few tweaks. Loving this app quite a lot lately. Best I’ve found so far. However, I found it very odd though that after you hit your goal for let’s say 3 times a week, it no longer is an option to complete more... So if my goal was to practice piano 3 times a week and I wanted to mark down my 4th day, I can’t record that. So therefore I must change it to repeat for 7 days a week to even mark it as completed, but then my goal is gone. So essentially I can’t reward myself for going above and beyond. To combat this I’ve set all my goals to 7 days a week, but there is no sense of hitting a goal when that’s in place. But at least it tracks them very we in a clean UI. Looking forward to your future updates

The update made the UI clunkier. I’m not sure why this app was recently updated to add extra taps in order to navigate. I used to be able to instantly tap on any other day of the week in the top bar, and to also swipe left or right to choose days even further ahead or behind. I used to be able to swipe left or right on habit’s month views and see other months. Now I have to tap a disclosure triangle to show the top bar first. And in month view, to get to another month, I have to open a menu, and choose from a list of just six months. If I want to look at a month prior to April 2020 to see my habits, guess what... I can’t. The app has been updated not only to make things take more time, but to make it literally impossible to see data I used to be able to see in a matter of seconds. Why did you guys make this change??

Pretty solid when everything’s in sync. This has been my favorite habit tracker as it is advanced enough to handle non-daily habits such as things you’re just trying to do once or a few times a week. It also helps manage daily tasks. Sometimes it is a little buggy with widgets, badge count, and notifications but when it works, it works very well and would recommend it.

This is the best, wish I’ve found this sooner!. I know many people tend to exaggerate in reviews, but I promise you, I’m not. I’ve been looking for a clean, focused, non subscription model habit tracker, that has both iPad and Apple Watch apps that sync seamlessly since 2015. I’ve tried over 9 of them and this is the best one. Almost all are subscription models now, are either cluttered, have unpleasant interfaces, confusing dashboards, poor UI/UX, missing either the iPad or Apple Watch app, have syncing issues or missing simple features like being able to change the start date of your habits in case you want to start over fresh (birthday, new year etc) some don’t even have a calendar for each habit just streaks. 😪😑😓 I’m so happy I stumbled across this app in yet another one of my searches 👽 Finally the last bits of my intense work flow are coming together! 😫😄 Thank you for this app guys 🤓

Excellent long term progress tracker. I put my basic habits I need to achieve my goals on this app. I can look back months and months back to see my consistency and my inconsistency. Tracks my bad habits as well- super helpful to see my progress. I’m a believer of this app. Just what I needed. One thing I hope for in this app is a weekly/ monthly/ yearly summary. That would be very helpful- especially a weekly overview. I think users of this app can agree with me. Almost like how Apple does screen time weekly summaries. Anyways. I love you habitify. Just bought premium for life.

Clean, appealing UI. I've been useing this app for a few years now and have loved it. It's a straightforword habbit tracker, its easy to use and has a clean UI, which has always been a big deal for me. Lots of other apps either look like they come from the early 2000's or there's too much foucus on astehtic and funcitionality falls though. With this you literaly just check off each item thoughout the day and thats that. Cusotmizaion of habbits is also really good with time, date, frequencey etc etc. You can also check your progress from a monthly overview, and there's a streek counter which is a great motivator. There's also a nightmode which I LOVE, and the customer service is great too, and the people behind this have been constatnly improveing the app over time. All around good app, would recomend.

Pretty good. Really like the design of the app, but you absolutely need to add the option for recurring every _ days for habits. Do that and I'll definitely get premium.

Difficult at first but quickly fixed. Downloaded it- looked pretty good so upgraded to Premium. Keeps asking me to upgrade- contacted help desk- fixed promptly

Habit Forming. I am pretty focused on getting things done. I am also focused on improving how I live, work and play. Habitfy is helping continuosly improve. Quick, simple. I am still learning its many features, but mostly like what if see!

Please add some awards!. The great thing of this app is you can add notes on every habit each day. But as an app to help cultivate a habit, it would be great to have achievement recorded or awards for long streak, or create some features can only enabled by check in days that can motivate users.

Gorgeous. I love the simplicity, the app is gorgeous and it has been the only thing that has worked in motivating me. I love all the visualisations!

Badge notifications not working. The app is supposed to update itself when it is not open and give you a badge notification when a habit needs to be completed but it does not. You have to open the app and navigate to today on the calendar and exit the app in order to the app to realise that it needs to give you a badge notification for the habits you need to complete for today. Please fix this.

Wonderful App. This app is incredibly useful and easy to use. I even recommended it to my mother. We both bought the lifetime premium option and it is money well spent. If you need help organising your habits, or developing new ones, this is the app for you.

Fantastic. Highly recommended

Bad experience. I’ve been using this app for many months and actually liked it. However after the most recent update, I no longer have access to the “Notes” function and it forces you to pay to upgrade to the pro version to gain access. I mean seriously? You should put a warning in bold font so people can make an informed decision wether they want to update the app or not. Now I lost all my notes for almost 300 days! It doesn’t matter to the developer anyway. Good job.

Stuffed after last update. Since last update all my notes have disappeared. Also the app just locks up. I paid all this money for a useless app. Never again.

Amazingly effective. Has helped me change my life and stick to doing the important things regularly. Even my wife has noticed I am more consistent.

Eh. There’s nothing much to it Can easily just put a reminder for it in reminders rather than going through the struggle of downloading the app After all, all it does is send a notification out for the habits you choose. With saying this, you are only able to set 3 habits maximum or you have to pay. Sure there are the graphs and completion stuff but is a really necessary? In my opinion there should be more to it.

Great!. I like this one, just one thing I'd like is this option for a task to be scheduled for every 2 weeks and every month. Other than that this is one of the better habit tracking apps I've used.

Helpful. I have developed two valued habits over the past couple of months and really appreciate the role of this app in helping me do it. Sometimes it just needs an encouraging and motivating comment to get you on track. It ain’t rocket science, but its working for me.

Money? Anyone got money?. Because that’s what I need to even USE this app. Everything costs money from having more than 3 habits or even having more than 1 reminder for 1 habit. The list goes on and on. Definitely a uninstall from me.

Great app without the fluff. Really like this app and the simplicity of it without all the fluff. Granted it's $7 but its a small price to pay when trying to build new habits. I also love how you can have it on your desktop as well. Higjly reccomend.

Great design. Great design, with cool features. Could use improvement in future, but by far my favourite habit app. The best part is no BS subscription fee.

Best habit tracker. Love the clean UI and it has all the features that I need. Support is fantastic, they listen and respond quickly. You can tell the developer cares about the app and continuously releases improvements. Totally worth the subscription IMO, lifetime subscription is a bargain.

That design though. I've only been using this for a few days so I'll reserve full judgement untill I've given it more time. But the design of this app is absolutely gorgeous, and was enough for me to choose it over the dozens of competitors with pretty ugly and unintuitive interfaces. Amazing work!

Alternate Days - why not?. Surely there must be a demand for habits to be done every second day! This option is missing! The app is great but without this setting it does not work for me.

Fantastic Interface. Once I started going through this app, I know that this is definitely what I wanted, as I have so many things I want to develop as habits. The statistics for individual habits is what sold me. Awesome work!

Habitify update. Original Habitify was able to sync between devices over personal iCloud. This has been removed in this new version regrettably.

Habitify that I used to love. Habitify used to be easy to navigate, was predictable, my habits status easy synchronised between iPhone, iPad and MacBook with use of my iCloud account. Loved it! However, my new iPhone with Habitify new version doesn’t synchronise with Habitify on my other devices anymore.

One key function that stands out!. This App has everything you need, I’ve been using it for sometime and have grown to love its usability, minimalist yet functional interface. The distinctive notification sounds are ingrained into my everyday life to complete tasks throughout the day. Although I don’t use all the features, I downloaded it and purchased it for one specific feature, the fact that I can set different tasks specifically for different periods of the day ( morning, afternoon, etc) it’s one feature that stands out, cause you can focus on the tasks directly, rather than being bombarded with a whole list of stuff to complete.

Great but not so great. I do believe this is a great app for those who are willing to spend money on apps, But for me who does not do that, it’s not so great anymore. A lot of the features on this app needs you to pay, honestly this isn’t worth it. Even Dark mode, on any other apps it’s free but here? Every time I open something new, I have a feeling that would happen. But above all of that, this is a good app to make your days better, but I do wish they removed some of the paying on nonessential stuff like dark mode. If you ever get to this please take my suggestion, I am pretty sure some other people would too, thanks for reading!(if you do)

Perfect, no-frills habit tracking. None of the over-designed and over-engineered gamification and patronising motivation that every other habit app seems to have. Just a nice, clean interface with the most important information front and center. Nice sound effects, too.

So simple, so clean. Such a well designed app. Just found out there’s a mac app too im amazed. Only downfall is the free version is quite limited

Time of Day Is Fantasic. Breaking up lists based on time of day is the best thing about Habitify. I’m able to be comprehensive about the many healthy habits I maintain (and easily build on with Habitify) whilst being able to prioritise based on time of day without being overwhelmed by the gigantic list. But I do wish time based reminders could be set for individual days of the week and wish that location based reminders only alerted me on the days that the habit is set. Best habit app on the app store (at least for me).

Well designed, clever app.. Ability to customise app badge based on time of day is awesome and perfect for me!

Best habit app I’ve tried !. I’ve tried a lot of habit tracking apps. This minimalistic yet feature rich app has everything I love all in one.

Good app!. This is a genuinely great app, it helps you to keep track of your habits and reminds you to complete them The only thing that disappoints me is that you can only have up to 3 habits, which might be enough for some people but unfortunately I would need to be able to add a couple more for it to be completely effective. This is why I have given it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, it is a good app.

Apple Watch complication not updating. Quite a good habit tracker. However I am disappointed that the Apple Watch complication on the watch face does not seem to work. Forever states there is 1/1 habit complete although tapping this and opening the app reveals 0/3 habits completed.

Met my expectations. I wanted a minimalistic yet intuitive app for habit tracking and this app delivered. Perfectly and flexibly covered aspects of habit tracking such as frequency (not limited to every day or week but every 2-3 days etc.). In terms of improvements however: as a visually stimulated person, it would be great if the streaks for habits could display a Snapchat streak-like emoji or graphic as the daily count increases. Syncing capabilities to my calendar such as iCal or Google Calendar would be another great addition.

Life changing. Simply one of the best apps to drive change in your life

Beautiful app and full of stats for data lovers!. The App is getting better and better, thank you.

An extremely good app. Really helpful for building new habits. This app is great and the best part of it is not the app itself, but the quotes that it displayed in the widget section. It has honestly kept me motivated till now and I have started to build a streak.

Great app!. It’s more important to know how to create a habit then any app. I’m using it for create micro habits. Less than two minutes a day. And it’s working!

It’s great and works really well BUT.... You can only have 3 habits at 1 time if you want more you have to get premium and like mist 13 year old I’m not really willing to spend my money on getting one more habit! It seems like I’m missing out!! 😢 it’s pretty basic but well there just seem to be slot of things I miss out on... but that’s like most apps!!!!

Doesn't Sync with iPhone or iPad. The Mac app will be awesome when they add syncing functionality. Until then, basically useless

Latest update working well. Pleased to see most recent update is working well. Look forward to this App getting back to what it was - reliable, easy to use, great stats, versatile and very aesthetically pleasing.

Dodge as hell! 😣. It’s gone from bad to shockingly bad. The app used to be an $8 one time payment, and now the dodgy developer has jacked up his pricing to a ‘subscription’ of $40 a year for some basic as hell to do list app. All you do is tick off a list, and that’s it. Bugs are riddled throughout the app as always too. Don’t let them fool you with their deviant monthly or yearly pricing, their doing it to live off your hard earned dollars. And I thought they cared. Terrible ruthless antics, it shouldn’t be allowed on the App Store no more! 😖

Kind, Gentle Reminders - very achievable!!. This app’ isn’t overbearing at all. It gently urges one to keep up ones good habits. If you’ve forgotten, it will be there to remind you & feel good once you’re done. The tones are melodic too. Great job!!

Great app for tracking habit and mood with fair pricing. I really like this app. Good for adults with ADHD. Great to track mood over time, as well as the ability to track and monitor mood several times per day if you subscribe to premium. Offers one-off payment for lifetime subscription. Rare and appreciated for such a good app. Powerful Shortcuts integration, and a cool API for the nerds among us (hi, I'm a nerd). Would get 5 stars if it included an easy way to track a negative habit. e.g. To quit smoking, I'd like to just tap once each time I have a cigarette, and have it automatically fail if I've had more than my 2 per day instead of having to manually create a log of 1 entry each time I mark the habit. I'll pay for a lifetime subscription when that last issue is fixed. Worth it.

SO disappointed. I paid full price for this app & there’s features it won’t do, (like checking future habits are in place- I don’t want to have to check every morning that my habits are in the correct order) plus it’s ALWAYS ALWAYS freezing everytime I open it.. So frustrated after entering all my scheduled habits into this & now I’m using another (cheaper) app.. 👎🏼

Great app, with one recently introduced flaw.. This is a fantastic app and worth the price of admission. I would have given it a perfect rating, but a recent update changed the app icon and did not provide an option to change it to the old style. I understand wanting to change the branding of the app, but a change like this without the option to customise it is disappointing for someone who already paid for a lifetime subscription. Please consider adding an option to customise the home screen icon, including the old icon which I preferred as it was more utilitarian rather than corporate branded.

Just what I needed !. Great app to break bad habits, and start new good ones ! Highly recommended.

download mac app from their website. This app doesn't work, don't bother downloading. However, you can download an updated version of the app from their website. I gather it's still a work in progress, but functions well enough if you want to use your computer sometimes. I reached out to the developers and the response was so quick. Very impressive.

Great app. Habitify is great app, makes creating good daily habits so easy and the screen reminders are so helpful as well I use it everyday and I love it 10/10

Getting My Life Back Together. Excellent app - bought the full version after using it for 2 days. Very versatile & I found it intuitive to use. Also syncs with my smart watch. Developers have been very responsive to feedback, and have gone above and beyond some suggestions I made. Great for helping me get my life back on track.

Best cross-platform app. Expensive, but worth it for the cross-platform so that I can use it on my iPad, phone and PC. Great support by the developer.

rubish. I purchased life-time one and the money already withdraw from my bank account; however, I cannot use it

Excellent Habit Tracker!. It does exactly what’s it supposed to do and looks good doing it. Integrates with Apple Health to make habit tracking easier, and has a great understanding of how one should track habits. However, some features could probably be removed to make the UI simpler. Such as, the Challenges feature, the ability to create tasks, and the ability to share quotes by pulling down. The mood logging feature is a great idea, but I could probably be implemented better.

Cool. Thanks!

Wow Wakeup!!. The app has transformed into a complete amazing app, finally!

Habit stacking???. Habit stacking function does not work with reminder. I just bought the premium and now I can’t even get reminded to do something after I have done something else? This is a bit ridiculous.

Clean App For My Daily Habits. I really enjoy working with Habitify. It has a minimalistic look yet it has enough analytics to review your habits. The Challenges are a good addition for more inspiration and variety.

So many habits built! Wow. Amaze!. Drinking water …. Up! Going to bed on time… um yeah! Planning my weekly grocery shop… yes again. Less time on social app. I did it.

Price is way too much for what this is.. I don't know what moron came up with these prices. 7.99$ a month, 29.99$ a year or 54.99$ for lifetime. I installed because of mention of lifetime, but for 55$ that is unnaceptable. Little tip, lower your prices and you will sell more product, your prices are litterally highway robbery. For 2$ I printed and laminated a daily task list, as well as the 1$ for the non permanent marker. Has lasted me 5 years. Thought I would switch to digital, but these people are litterally trying to rob us. For an app that probably very little time to code, hell I pay 70$ for games that people spend millions developing. This is 55$ for an app they probably spend a couple grand developing. Very dissapointed.

awesome app. I use Habitify on my iphone, ipad and mac. The only thing i wish is that the Mac app would be updated more frequently. It lacks behind the iOS apps.

Vastly impoved.. Amazing progress and updates, as I've not used this app for a while as it was a bit buggy on the Mac, but it's gotten a LOT better! Great job!

This use to cost 15 flat. I bought the app when there was no subscription required for $15. I was surprised to see that it has now gone up to $55 per year.

mac app unfunctional. login won't let me use my google account to log in, and logging in with email doesn't work either. :(

Been using this app for years love it. Been using this app for years love it

Don’t know yet!. Constant errors!!

Absolute best app!. Great design and usability! Very well thought out app with intuitive features. Highly recommended if you’re looking to form good habits and break bad ones!

Awesome app to track your habits!. Very well built app, simple to use and powerful to help you leverage your habits!

The best 🔥🔥🔥. Love this app being using for years, life changer!

Great except for two things. Two things that I don’t like about this app and are kinda getting under my skin are the following: 1- At the top bar where your folders would appear, the folders are ordered for some very weird reason based on alphabetical order. So, if you want a folder to be before another, you can’t change it manually, nor can you make the folders be based on a timely order so that the folders for 10 am are before the folders for 10 pm!! 2- You can time the tasks to be either at morning, afternoon, or evening so you can’t time them to be from say 9:30-13:15!! Not sure why you can’t manually pick the specific time that you want!! This also applies to folders btw. So although I should be able to create a folder that displays (in the widget screen) from 7-13 o'clock, I can’t do that!

Good App, but Buggy and Slightly Confusing UX. Works well, but some bugs (had to restart to check off new habits), and managing habits (reorganizing) requires going into a separate screen. Finding / editing future habits not easy either, and would be great to have a "comments" section for each habit. The Notes are per-day and can't be edited, only deleted.

Having problems - creators are emailing me to solve. They are trying hard to help me sort out.

Really helpful to stay on top of healthy habits.. This app has helped me achieve many new habits just by having the reminders being able to make notes. My favourite part about the app it’s self would be the mood tracking!

Looks pretty, but the free plan is a lie. After about a month of using Habitify, I’m no longer able to track my habits. I can’t add anything, I just get a pop up for premium. There’s no clarification anywhere what you actually get with the free plan, so I have to assume this is by design. I’m not paying $5 a month just to tick things off and the one time price of $90 is insane.

Devs please help - sync broken. I have a premium subscription but my data does not sync from my iPhone to my Mac no matter what I do. Please help. Other than that, absolutely love the app!

Worth It!. Nothing better to invest in than in yourself and Habitify is the best tool I’ve come across to cultivate good habits. Highly recommend to anyone trying to improve their habits and looking to track their progress!

Deleted my account and they keep sending emails. Even after I deleted my account, I keep getting an email every day from this app. You must include a link in the email that unsubscribes and does not require a sign-in. When I sign in to turn off emails it just creates another new account. So frustrating. Never download this app they will keep sending you emails forever.

Rip off. Awful. Installed it and only able to add 3 habits then have to pay for premium version. How am able to even assess how it works with so few habits to track.

Best habit tracking app ever created. I’ve tried some apps but none stuck because their stupid design of making something as essential as reminders part of the premium subscription and because I work on my computer 99% of the time (programmer) I often don’t pick up the phone during work and then before going to bed and go “oh I needed to go for a run 5 hrs ago”. The premium only offers truly premium functions and not locking essentials in subscription is just something I’ve been looking for since forever. I’m sharing this to my entire family and friends. Great work guys, keep this up!

The worst. The worst app ever you have to pay

Absolute Joke. On the website it says its not a subscription and you can buy it for 7.99 but u cant!! they offer subscriptioon for 7.99 and crazy 50 something dollars for lifetime. I am shocked that they are flat out lying in their FAQ.

Couple Missing Things. Mood Tracker: Should be a sliding scale vs. 5 simple emojis. I wish life was that simple. Start/End Dates: cant seem to find a way to set up a habit, that I need to complete once per week. Seems silly that isn’t possible.

Upgrade centric. You only get three habits with the free version which is fair, but then you are frequently prompted to upgrade and I was even blocked from entering missing data until I upgraded. I deleted the app.

Great love it. Great app, I wish I could choose when the day is over instead of it flipping at midnight as I am a night owl

Very basic. This is pretty Mickey Mouse for basic, and way too expensive to pay for.

Not worth the money. There are better apps out there, for the subscription price I don’t think this is worth it at all.

Powerful app. Intuitive app that’s great at building and tracking habits

Doesn't work on the Mac. Great on iOS and iPadOS but the Mac version doesn't work at all. It stopped syncing weeks ago and so this morning I logged out and tried to log back in and got an error message about not being able to connect to the server. (Every other app is working fine.) I deleted it and re-installed it from the App Store and now it's logged in as Guest and when I click the Sign Out button (in preferences) and click confirm on the modal that pops up, nothing at all happens. Old Review: A bumpy start but worked in the end There were some difficulties in setting up the integrations with IFTTT and Zapier but, once I figured out which habits are registered as a status update and which are registered as a new log, it worked quickly. I'm excited to be able to connect my habit tracker to my accountability app.

Best I can find. Still impressed with this app. I took a break and tried habits with pen and paper yet I am back to Habitify. It is straightforward and at the same time there are extras which are great to discover - that you may decide to use or not. Works across all Apple devices and is reliable. Thanks Habitify!

Apple health data cannot be synchronized. Hi there. Since yesterday, manually recorded sleeping data in Apple Health cannot be synchronized to this app. (No problem until yesterday)

Terrible! Super buggy 😕. Good interface but terrible to use. So buggy! I regret my purchase.

Basic and buggy. I’ve been using Habitify for almost 2 years now, and have finally decided it’s time to move on. Where Habitify is best is getting you to log your habits. Since it’s so basic there’s very little friction to getting data into the app. The real problem is getting data out; the analytics are simple at best, and buggy and lacking at worst. Its most egregious shortcoming is that the graphs do not work. I find the progress tab almost unusable as a result, making the whole thing kind of pointless.

Took my money. I purchased a life-time premium upgrade on my previous phone, that phone got stolen and on my new phone when I download the app, despite logging in it doesn’t show my purchase anymore and is prompting me to buy all over again. I’d use it if they restored my purchase

Great. But…. I use my SE in bed. The UI is clipped on the smaller screen. In general: • [feature request] Sync with health track calories but automatically fails when threshold exceeded. • UI size? Or maybe even just smaller ui in general for smaller screens. • [feature request] log habit from the top of its page. So that clicking on a widget can log and view a habit. • [feature request] a widget that shows the graph of a habit. The best graphs I’ve seen are Heart Report’s widget (maybe inspiration from that) • [feature request] log health tracked habits from habitify. All in all a couple of quirks but awesome app. Been using it for 3 years now.

Won’t stop sending me emails. I hadn’t used the app in probably 2 years and now it is suddenly sending me daily emails. There is no option to unsubscribe on the email and I can’t find anywhere in the app to change email settings. I then DELETED my account and I am still getting emails. So I am reporting the emails as spam and will be blocking them. Very concerning about my personal information that deleting my whole account doesn’t actually do anything and that my email is still obviously on file.

Apple Watch complications are broken. Complications constantly show “All completed” even when nothing is. Pretty good app apart from this issue, wish I could use it but it’s not as good without the watch.

Simple, elegant and on all devices. Love the Mac, iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch apps that combine to make this a great experience across all devices. Definitely worth the Lifetime subscription purchase price.

Bad UX, can’t easily view historical data. I purchased the lifetime subscription and used it to 9 months. The latest updates have turned a mediocre app into something quite unusable. It’s incredibly difficult to navigate between months of historical data for a habit and apparently impossible to see your monthly data further back than 6 months. When I purchased the app at least I could scroll through the calendar and update habits for multiple days. Now you have to navigate months via a drop down.

used to be great, now it’s meh. I had been a long time user and supporter of the app (started using in ~2015) and I’ve gone through a few of the app redesigns — the last one although well-intentioned has been poorly implemented and has led me to stop using this app altogether 1. spanish language translations are not well done, and clear & major errors (that I’ve notified the development team of twice) have not been fixed in years 2. sync between watch had phone is terribly unreliable 3. watch complications are broken and have been for many years 4. bugs when opening iPad app it feels like the development team gave up 1/2 of the way through the app redesign, and it’s sad because I really enjoyed the app

Perfection. Absolutely everything I was looking for in a habit tracker.

New Icons. Please provide icons or allow us to upload our own icons. People have been requesting this for a long time now and have received nothing in the past updates. Shame!! ALLOW CUSTOM ICONS IF YOU GUYS CANNOT GET THIS DONE

Perfect. I am completely anal about goal planning and habit tracking and generally cynical about technology but this app is remarkably thorough and efficient. Also it’s really polished and looks very nice in design. The developers certainly weren’t lazy. Or they are at least as passionate about habit tracking and goal setting as I am! Thanks! P.s Usually I don’t bother with reviews but I’m impressed.

Like it overall, but please add option to remove shaming notifications. The interface, tracking, etc is great. I really don’t like how you’ll get a “yikes” message if you don’t do any habits though. I don’t need shame as a motivator, sometimes I’m just going on a trip, a date, etc and don’t need an app trying to mommy me. Add an option to remove the shaming messages and this app would be 5 stars easy!

Beautiful and Simplistic. The app is very well designed and simplistic. The things that it does, it does well. I do however, wish it had some additional features. For example, I wish their was an option to keep it open but hide it from the dock, similarly to how streaks handles it. That way it can update when you make changes on mobile for example.

Fix Apple Health sleep. Generally, the app is well crafted and versatile. It has everything every other habit tracking app has, and does a lot of it better. The deal breaker for me: Apple Health sleep sync. I don’t know why they can’t get it right. It syncs, but what they do with the data after that - no clue. I *CAN* tell you that I didn’t sleep an average of 20 hours per night over the last X weeks. A lot of other apps get this right but Habitify… nope. I’ve contacted them and been told they’re aware of it but…?

This is what you're looking for!. If you need an app that leads you to CONSISTENCY, SELF-DISCIPLINE, and PRODUCTIVITY, this app is exactly what you need! I usually don't rate apps, but this one is REALLY WORTH IT. I've tried many other productivity apps on the App Store, and Habitify is the best BY FAR. It's a great motivation to become more productive and it has tremendously shifted my life towards a more disciplined and consistent one. Try it, I'm sure you won't regret it. (Is that okay Peter?😉)

Straight forward habit tracking. I downloaded all the decent looking habit tracking apps I could find on the store and tested them out. I stuck with this one for its clean and straight forward interface and the fact that it's one time payment. One feature addition I think would be great to have is the ability to customize, with more detail, the 'Repeat' cycle for a habit. For example: once in two weeks, last day of each month, etc.

Habit Tracker. Habitify is one of the best habit trackers money can buy today. The reason for four stars is because the app lacks one feature I would find essential to having habits. Timers should be a feature that is introduced to help people with timed habits such as a long session of studying, reading or even exercising. I have a third-party pomodoro app to track my time but it would be more convenient to have a timer implemented in the app.

Great App Disrespectful Company. While I really like the design and style of the app itself, I cannot tolerate how terribly the company wants yet more money out of me. After finally being able to afford the premium version and being excited about it, I started receiving multiple notifications a month telling to get a new deal for premium (that I already have). When I asked the developers about turning them off they basically said “No. deal with it.” I will not. Moving to another app that actually respects me enough to let me turn promotions off, especially when I already paid you.

Amazing!. Habitify is the best habit tracker I’ve ever had! It helped me stick to my goals and create new habits, such as reading. I didn’t like to read and found it boring. Now I really like it and depending on the book, hours may pass and I won’t even notice! I really like that it shows you for how many days you’ve been doing the habit - it really motivates me. Thanks.

Awesome app to help you build habits. Downloaded this app weeks ago and it’s really helping me build habits into my daily routine. Works great with small reminders coming up on the Apple Watch as well. My favorite thing is to name my habits with the time at which I want to accomplish them, and then set the reminder to remind me 15 minutes prior. Love that you can have daily or weekly habits, at any time of day, any day of the week as well. Great app!

Needs Time to Mature. 🤷‍♂️ The iOS app okay. 🙅‍♂️ The web app lacks many features on iOS. 🙅‍♂️ The Mac app lacks many features on iOS. 📋 Habit stacking needs work. 👀 Lacks a robust set of icons 🔍 Cannot search icons on iOS All in all, this is about a 4/10 app. It is heading in the right direction though. More effort should be put into the desktop/web app for busy professionals who spend most of their day at a terminal. More robust habit stacking would be great for folks who leverage this to build their habits up. Perhaps configuring them as a chain/subtasks. Ramp up goals would be great adhering to thr 2-minute rule. Reward/pain features for good/bad habit building/breaking would be great. An activity log to help identify your chains would be phenomenal. Will revisit in the future. Until then, remaining with a custom solution in Obsidian.

Best habit tracking app!. I’ve tried and paid for many habit tracking apps and this is the one I like the most, strongly recommend. The design is clean, the reminder options are intuitive and the ability to set habits that recur only on certain days of the week is great. The macOS app is a plus as well. I rated 4/5 stars because I’d like to see a calendar view for all habits at once and a couple of other tweaks, but this app is well worth the purchase either way.

Why is every Habit App a Monthly Fee?. It’s mind-blowing to me that I have to pay monthly to add more than 3 habits. You should be able to add unlimited habits and then have premium do other things… Premium for more habits? For what the app is designed and supposed to do? Just make the app cost $5 at that point and it would be better. And it’s not just this app it’s every habit app. Adding more than 3 habits is far from a premium thing to do lol. And 99$ for a lifetime subscription. ??????????????????????????????????? LOL.

This app changed my life!. It’s true! Now that I can keep track of my accomplishments, it holds me accountable to myself, while also allowing me to measure my accomplishments. Although I wish there would be some tweaks, like a counter that tallies the habit (counter) more than once a day, like reach the goal of some habit 3 times a day, it still does a satisfying job.

Decent app, hard to unsubscribe from spam. This app was fine, but I stopped using it a few months ago. Recently I started getting emails every day. There’s no “unsubscribe” link, you have to log into their janky web app, so i had to dig up my username/password. Also it doesn’t seem to work on mobile (it’s zoomed in so hard to navigate). Eventually I just blocked their emails from my email client. Pretty annoying.

Finally updated with stats!. So glad to see the recent update which now allows us to see total minutes tracked against a goal! Individual progress stats look great. Now just need a true total (versus separated by year or months). But I am happy with the updates. Thanks.

Clean layout, simple and effective!. I appreciate how this app lets you categorize habits/goals as morning, afternoon, or evening, and lets the user view only one category at a time if they wish. I’m trying to incorporate regular routines in my life and this helps a lot. I also love the minimal design. Other habit apps can be confusing to navigate, or cluttered with a lot of color and text. This app doesn’t get in your way - it just lets you get things done.

Perfect habit tracker app!. Love the design of this app! It has all the features I want in a habit tracker. Love that I can organize my habits by time of day and add a specific time reminder to each. The notification options are perfect—I basically need my habits to be blowing up my phone for me to get them done. I also love that there’s a desktop app that syncs perfectly! And last but not least the sound when you check something off is SO satisfying and motivating. Love it!

The latest update is a huge step back. I’m struggling to understand how the latest update made this app look older than the previous version. The UI looks worse, and the new features are not intuitive at all, especially for goals with weekly frequency targets. The new updates makes it difficult to see streaks for non-daily goals. Also, why in the world would you get rid of the swipe features? Why would you think it would be easier to use a drop down to access previous days or see month by month views?

Best habit tracker and habit former app on the market. I tried several habit trackers before deciding on Habitify. I wanted data, simplicity, and most of all, something that I’d stick to. Habitify is the sweet spot between having too little and too much in a habit tracker. Yeah there are others out there with more bells and whistles, but i find that too many of the add ons just rise complexity and reduce user ease, consistency, and overall habit formation. What would I change? I love the snooze function that was added, but it’s still too easy to accidentally close a notification without snoozing. I need the notification to pound on me until it’s done.

Love how Habitify tracks streaks on the widget. Really enjoying the app. You can make one of the widget options track your streaks when you complete a habit multiple days in a row. That really makes me want to keep my streak going. Also great to be able to easily see every day in a month that I completed my goals. Wish I could add more habits for free, but they gotta make money somehow lol

Keeps Getting Better. I have been “using” this app for a few years, but only recently started actually using it. This is for a number of reasons, but primarily it’s because of the abundance of features that have been added that have drawn my attention. back. As I’m exploring the app, I continue to undercover more and more pieces of functionality that keeps me organized and focused.

Great stat analysis options, but limited goal-setting possibilities. + Simple though elegant design + Many ways to analyze your progress in terms of daily, weakly completion: by habit or total progress - Really lacks differentiated goal-setting options: it either tracks a habit 1 time/day or several times/week. No options for habits that has to be tracked several times daily :( - Only uses Y/N and minutes as tracking units. Really lacks additional ones: e.g: ml of water, steps, km, Cal for different habits

so much more productive. at first it was hard to get used to logging if i️ did my habits on the app because i️ didn’t feel like it but a week later i️ got used to it and started feeling bad for everytime i️ left my habit for the day gone blank! Thanks to this app I’m just so much more productive. Highly recommend it for you ya diggg

Has a spot on my front page. This app is great! It really keeps me accountable and is such an easy way to trick your brain into doing the things you want to be doing anyways. Crucial for me is the flexibility in how often tasks are done. I don’t need every habit to be once a day, so it’s nice to be able to set it to only be every week.

The One. I looked at maybe a few dozen habit tracking apps and this is the one that has all the features I saw in other apps but all together in one. You do have to pay for premium, though, to see what Habitify is fully capable of, though.

Amazing and helpful app!. I’ve used this everyday for close to a year now and it keeps track of all of my habits and things in need to do/ not do, HELPS SOOOO MUCH!!! Helps me keep track of my healthy eating, getting homework done, and so much more. It reminds me to keep in check and do every goal that I set out to do. Amazing app, premium is totally worth it!!!👍🏻😁🥳

Lost it all. Bought premium and loved the program up until it trashed all data/progress. I’m the settings it asked to login so I can access info on other devices. Thought I was already able to do that, but ok I’ll login. BOOM there goes 3 months of progress tracking. Logged out and it still doesn’t have the information. Not happy.

Fantastic Habit App. This is best habit app I’ve used! Streamlined, easy to use & allows landscape option for ipad. This app lets me develop habits more quickly when I can visualize my daily progress quickly without a bunch of clutter! I know it sounds weird, but I need to see that tiny ‘mark’ or streak number to develop the habit, like getting a gold star 😌

Perfect except for one missing feature.... The only thing this is missing from being the best habit tracker (and I’ve tried them all) is the ability to add a note to daily goals. For instance on momentum for my “excercise” goal each day I would make a note of what muscle group I did that day such as chest/tris or back/bis. Really helped me keep track of a routine. Other than that it is easy to use, looks great, available iPad version is clutch, and provides useful statistics.

Honestly wow. Like I have been around a productivity app or two in my day and everything about Habitify is great. The UI is clean but doesn’t lack functionality & in the same token there is plenty of features without feeling overwhelming. I truly am grateful for this app because it’s really made a wonderful journey exploring the person I can become.

Unreliable. Habitify used to sync with Apple Watch seamlessly in the background... It doesn't do that anymore. Now the Watch and iPhone don't communicate, even if you have the latest Apple Watch series 5 with cellular. As a premium user this was a helpful, useful functionality because checking off a habit on one device showed up immediately on the other. Now the sync is gone for no apparent reason, has been for weeks, and their support can't explain it either.

The most no-cruft and actionable habit app I’ve seen. I’ve tried loads of habit apps on multiple platforms and Habitify is the only app I’ve committed to long-term AND created meaningful habits out of! The interface is simple, it’s not bloated, and the interaction patterns are delightful. I genuinely want to get those boxes checked just to hear that delightful ‘ding’. There’s still a lot of potential for growth, but Habitify has strong foundations and, for me, works wonderfully. It’s definitely a keeper.

The best. I’ve used many habit trackers, and this one is simply the best for managing habits/tasks that you intend to do daily or on a regular, weekly basis. The updated interface in 3.0 is smooth and intuitive, and the historical and progress tracking features are super helpful for inspecting your performance. I use this app in conjunction with Things, which I use mostly for one-off/non-regular tasks. The two of them together have really helped me increase my productivity.

Great tools, easy for everyday use. This app has been very good as baby stepping myself into larger habit-forming. Enough so that I'm a lifetime pro member to get the full benefits of this app that will hopefully extend with the streaks of my habits. Word of advice—start small, make achievable daily goals that you won't burn out on. Stack when it gets easier and easier to a larger goal or goals.

Nice app overall. I searched far and wide for a good habit tracker that wasn’t subscription based (thanks for ruining the App Store, Apple). This app is great. I had a lot of trouble upgrading, but I’m assuming the most recent update fixed that. I would have only two requests. First, that completed habits show up in the list even if they’re done for the week. For example, I have a couple weekly items that disappear once they’ve been done. I’d like to see them there, be checked off. Secondly, I’d like to be able to make notes on a given Habit for a given day. Another minor criticism lies in the statistics. I have my week set to start on Sunday. When I look at a daily habit I have for 2017, it shows 77% completion even though I’ve only missed one day. It’s assuming I won’t complete it at all this week to arrive at that 77%, which is misleading.

13.0.1 Update Brings all the Joy. With a completely overhauled UI, the newest version of this App for macOS (13.0.1) is everything this app needs to be. I cannot seem to down my 1-star review, but want everyone to know that these developers have responded to almost all the criticisms mentioned here.

Spam!!. If you try this app out, years later they will suddenly start emailing you all the time and the emails will have no way to unsubscribe unless you reinstall their app. Then you will open the app only to realize there is no visible way to unsubscribe even in the app. You may then decide to delete your account thinking surely this would solve the problem. No, nothing you can do will solve this. The only way out is to signup with Apple private relay and block the emails that way. You have been warned. They probably do this on purpose to inflate their active user stats. This is very dishonest and I suggest not ever trying this app.

Buggy and clunky UX. Very buggy and clunky UX. I have to click into different menus to sort habits, the new tasks are placed at the top (instead of at the bottom - which would make sense for anyone creating a habit stack). And half the time the sorting fails to reflect in the main habit areas. Even creating tasks is arduous. Log task names are truncated so you can’t even read what the task is. And every task defaults to a notification enabled at 9AM?! And the app crashes 1/5 times.

Beautiful and Amazing. I love the concept of these types of apps — they really resonate with someone who’s inherently driven-yet-scattered — and Habitify is one of the best. That said, one of the most convenient and fluid ways I interact with an app is through the notifications... and this app has one big flaw in that area: if you ‘complete’ a habit via the notification, it will automatically dismiss the other notifications that are sitting out there. I’d consider this a flaw for now. Other than that, Habitify is great at what it intends to do.

Great App but Buggy. I'll give it 5 stars for UX and the options that have. It really helps with the hardest bad habits after a couple of months. The issues: checkbox done buttom gets unresponsive on ipad, mnost of the time I have to click it more than 2 times. On desktop the app gets stuck most of the time, doesn't work well. Feels like there's a sync or input app issue for me.

Favorite I’ve found so far. After trying three or four similar apps whose UX didn’t do it for me, I’ve settled on Habitify and use it daily. It’s simple and streamlined, with the perfect amount of features, and I really like that I can keep notes for myself on each habit for each day—it helps me trace my success in more detail than a simple checkmark alone would do. I’d def recommend this tracker to others.

can’t add categories in desktop version.. It’s a good app, I just started using it daily and even paid for it but I am looking elsewhere. The menu bar mini app mobile app and desktop app all together is useful. However It’s tedious to add categories to tasks and impossible to do so in the desktop version. I should be able to add or change categories while in the task. They are just a lot of ux things that could be addressed

Good For Building Habits Ok For Quiting Old Ones. Habitify has 3 things I love: 1. It works on all Apple devices Mac iOS, and Apple Watch 2. Folders to classify habits by area i.e. body, work, relationships, etc. 3. Classify by time blocks (morning, afternoo, evening) Two things it could do better: 1. Create a substracting Feature for negative habits like eating past a certain time or using social media more than x number of times. 2. Include a Pop Up Message Option After successfully completing a habit that shows what the reward is. Example: Habit: Swim/Run AM Situation: Before Work Reward: Eat Favorite Breakfast

nice but it does not keep daily tasks in order. Supposedly you can manage the habit lists but afrer I added a second set of unrelated habits amy main daily tasks list got scrambled. in the 'manage'pane they look fine, but on the working list they are scrambled. one poinr of a good tracker can e to show you an organixed sequende of steps to get through a morning - sort of a 'what's next? prompter. if the list scrambles, it's useless for that. I am looking at alternatives while i want for a responese abour this from the developer.

Pretty good. This is a well-designed habit tracking app for regularly occurring (daily, weekly) habits that you’d like to build. One thing I’d like to see is a habit that repeats a number of times in a day. (For example, drinking water 4 times per day. The app could space out the habit throughout the day, prompting me multiple times per day to drink water.) If this is an important feature to you, you may need to find a different app.

I use it everyday, with only minor gripes. Habitify has become indispensable. They nail the basic function and it’s fairly straightforward to use. The watch app works better than many I’ve tried before. I wish I didn’t get notifications for things I’ve already checked off. This seems like an easy fix.

Exactly what I needed. Just a few minor tweaks.. Exactly what it set out to do. The interface is clean and I love the dark mode. Excellent integration with my other devices. Keeps me honest with things I should be doing. I just wish it let me customize my habits a little more. Some of the other habit apps let you do monthly, bi-monthly, yearly, etc. Right now all I have is daily or weekly. Also the small Apple Watch complication is a little useless. Maybe have it change color or show a number letting me know I have things to check off. Other than that it’s perfect. I paid for my “lifetime” of updates because I can see this team cares about this app and is willing to make it perfect. Thanks guys!

Good app but it doesn’t work and they will double charge you. This app has a lot of potential and I like it in theory. The premium features have never worked, after buying a lifetime membership-i was charged for a yearly subscription a couple months ago, the help function is incredibly difficult to use, the calendar no longer syncs, and the problems go on and on. Based on developer comments online, they don’t take customer feedback seriously so I suggest using free version but not wasting money on a product that is so buggy.

Unable to create account.. Whenever I try to create an account via the app, I keep getting a message that says “Oh, no! Something went wrong!” There is no further information regarding the problem. Reconfiguring my network settings didn’t work, nor did turning on permissions. I visited the desktop website on my PC to create an account and there was no option to do so. When I clicked on “contact”, the Outlook mail app opened on my desktop and I don’t use that on my computer. There was also no way to contact anyone via the ios app. PITA.
