Could be so much better. I expected so much more. One of the key things for making a transit system work is making it easy for people. This app does very little to encourage people to ride. The bus and Metro sections are completely isolated from each other, as if you wouldn't want to see how to transfer from one to the other. This app sorely needs a route planner with an integrated price calculator for the journey you want to take. Maybe the option to buy a monthly bus pass? They have all this information at their disposal, so why not put it all in there? Basically this app is a big list of missed opportunities. Hopefully the next updates will include some more useful features.

Works Okay. Would be helpful to have a feature that helps you navigate how to get to your destination

It doesn’t work. Nothing pops up when searching for anything. It’s confusing & absolutely terrible.

Useless. Recently downloaded this for out of town guests. They could not figure it out! And what’s worse is I could not help them, despite growing up here. Not good at apps you say? I am a programmer by trade…

Only eastbound for 102. Someone mentioned the same thing I wanted to stay the 102 line only has eastbound and does not give the westbound route please correct as soon as possible

Very buggy. Won’t show any times.. I have the app fully up to date, with latest iOS. Restarted, reinstalled, cleared cache, tried everything. Doesn’t work.

Great app. Accurate times, I only took off a star because I have an iPhone X and I wish it told me the exact hour and minute a bus passes instead of just how many minutes until it arrives.

Use this app! Not Google Maps or MoveIt -Great app with accurate info. This app does a great job at telling you real-time information for when LA Metro bus and rail lines arrive at all stops. It’s accurate and let’s you realize that using public transportation in LA is a lot easier than people think.

Not particularly useful. Has current location, bus stop photos and an image of the metro routes, but is not especially useful beyond being a database of bus tables.

Limited Usefulness. Only useful if you already know which bus or train line you need to take and approximately where the stops are. Otherwise forget about it. Also doesn't include the many non-Metro lines in the L.A. area.

Can’t rely on it too much. The app is ok it’s just frustrating and annoying when they have “bug” issues and the page won’t load

Very clean and on time. I cherish the updates . I appreciate Metro rail does not allow the train to become a sleeping quarters for transients.

A solid app!. Honestly I really enjoy this app. It’s very snappy and helps me figure out the proper metro stops since other apps tend to wanna do a complete GPS navigation, which is fine but I want an app also that is completely dedicated to the Metro schedule so I can plan accordingly. Others apps don’t always display accurate times, this app ALWAYS shows the correct ETA. My only suggestion is to please let us tag or nickname favorites so it’s easier for me to jump between stops in the app!

Has ads. I do not need ads when I am trying to use an app that I am using for the first time

Pretty much useless!!. Hello City of LA! If this is the official app, it needs updating!!!! All the lines are now numbered and the lines have changed. Rome2Rio works much better and has current info. It’s a shame a big city like LA doesn’t have a better app.

Still hopeful. I was hoping this app would be more comprehensive as it seems it is the official app of metro. I appreciate that it gives me up to the minute information on arrivals of buses and trains but what if I don’t know how to get where I’m going? Where is the route planner? Also there seems a little or no connectivity between buses and trains or buses and other buses. Am I missing something here? It’s a great app if you know the number of your bus and you know where you’re going.

Atrociously inept. If you’re trying to find out the departure time of the next Red Line train, it’d be more effective to dampen your forefinger and hold it up in the breeze.

Best app ever... NOT.. I've tried different apps to track the public service offered in the great Los Angeles, since we already know it's petty and this app has disappointed like every other. The only good thing about this app is that like religion: it gives you hope. Because you see a bus coming in 10 minuscule in the app but it actually takes like 40 to an hour for that bus to actually show up. And don't even try taking public transportation on holidays because the service and the app are like Donald Trump's promises: all BS. So do yourself a favor and save for a clunker from point A to point B because public transportation in LA is practically non existent.

Jank & Outdated. This app completely misses the mark. Basically useless. How does an app maintained in 2023 manage to function worse than Nextrip from the early 2010s!? It’s cumbersome, ugly, and prone to bugs. Just stick to Google Maps or Transit

Out of date rail map. In app map still doesn’t show the regional connector stations opened back in June, and it’s already almost November. They aren’t keeping this app updated.

App gets really buggy after dark. This is not the first LA metro app I’ve had problems with. All of them are great during the day. It’s after dark things start to get messed up. The app says the bus is arriving in “x” amount of minutes, but when you get to the stop, nothing shows. Maybe it’s an issue w the LA Metro’s GPS system. Wouldn’t surprise me. Public trans in LA has been and always will be a red-headed step-child.

Not accurate. This app is absolutely not accurate at all ... It says 5 minutes to arrive and it doesn’t arrive till 20 minutes after ... please fix this! ASAP!

It’s just a map database. I was expecting to have some real time information on bus routes, as it advertises, but really it’s just maps of bus routes. Useful, but ultimately not as helpful as I hoped. I like the numerically organized list of metro lines.

Not a trip planner. I thought this would be a trip planner and it is not. The only thing it does is show you the times of bus routes and trains. If you already know how to get where you’re going and which trains/buses to take, then I guess this would be useful maybe? But for most of us trying to get around a sprawling major city like LA, what is the point? I deleted this app right after downloading it.

I love it! I ONLY wish,......... That it had a search bar & I could look up things as o do at home

Horrible in June 2023. I launch the app and it takes me right to a Google ad without the ability to close the ad and choose a route. Fire the app developer.

Not very good app, No Times are displayed. The older Transit App was much better. Using Metro today no bus times are listed. Oh sure Bus Stops appear, but are empty. Hence mostly worthless, I already knew the line and stops. I need to know when the buses are…

Changes to bus route listings. Someone on the routing staff needs to make stop listings in alphabetical order or stop order. The current listing protocol is in no format whatsoever

It doesn’t work. It stopped showing any schedules since last week

Desperately needs updated. This app is showing bus lines that don’t even run anymore and haven’t in quite some time. When selecting a bus line that does run it just shows a pic of the bus. No times or stops. This app is worthless.

Non-Intuitive & Frustrating. The search function is worthless. You basically need to know the bus number to find info - isn’t that the purpose of a search?!? Google maps does a better job and it’s one less app to clutter up your phone - because this apps chief function is to take up memory.

App. When I first got the app on my phone it was talking but now it's not talking. My friends have the same app and theirs talk. What is going on.

DOESN’T WORK. This app was good for about a year and was useful for my parents who took the bus every day. It has since stopped working as there are no available buses that populate on the favorites or really any route at all.

Is great when it works. I'm not sure what's been going on with the app. It's been about a month since the app started saying "metro is experiencing an outage" and won't provide schedules at all to me.

Doesn’t show all the bus times. I’m currently waiting for a bus that’s in 6 minutes. However the app doesn’t show it. The app doesn’t show much. It’s a crappy app. I go to google maps to find bus times. That’s sad...

Broken. Maps have not been updated. Does not have scheduled or real time train/bus locations

Useless!!!!. All it says is “refresh route info. “ you can refresh till your finger falls off but it never takes you to the bus line or tells you when the bus is coming. You can restart your phone 100 times and it still doesn’t work. Piece of crap.

** Need To Update***. A note for the developers: I would love for this Metro app to enable users to purchase passes through the app, much like the Metrolink app. This would eliminate the stress(and safety)of buying/reloading passes through the Metro kiosks. :)

Great app. Using the App I know exactly what time to leave my house. Especially helpful when it is raining.

App is nice. Inconsistent service not so nice.. Started riding Metro Red Line again. Service gets super inconsistent around 6 PM. App says 4 minutes, then 20, then 10 for 5 more minutes. Not so good at night.

No Trip Planning feature. It’s nice this app gives you all the details of the bus routes. However I don’t think I’ll be using this app much since there’s no trip planning features.

Recent issues. I live near the Red Line and train times have been absent from this app for over a month now. Just a blank screen with nothing. Quite frustrating.

App No Longer Working. The app isn’t working for me anymore even though it’s been updated. I try to see when the next bus is and it just shows a blank page

Double Dutch bus afair. Got on metro and paid my fare and told the driver I’m going to a double Dutch afair fee foo fi thumb you all know the rest love metro

3 years use ok but not perfect. I have relied on this app a lot and it can be reliable, but one issue I have is some routes it shows info for only eastbound or westbound twice instead of both. They recently corrected this for the 4 but introduced this error for the 10, so no net gain when trying to go east from San Vicente in the evening when buses are less frequent and have to guess whether to hang around a bus stop late at night to get home or try the 4 or 704.

Poodles & Noodles…. Thanks to this app, I can get em both on the same day as efficiently as possible, due to the integrity of this app’s accuracy. Or I could just get to Skid Row as quickly as possible to go. Thanks Metro App!!

Not useful just shows routes and stops. Not a real-time app. This just shows routes and stops, similar to a static printed schedule.

Doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work, all I get is a map of the world when I click on a bus line. No times like next bus

Needs updated...again.... You have the current gold line extension but you haven't updated the expo line. You haven't even added where the prospective to-be built lines are yet even though they're announced. Could be a good app, but--alas: it isn't.
