Version History. I think this is the first time I've ever left a review for an app. It works good, I didn't have a gray screen during the iOS 10 update. Your version history notes for 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 are exactly the same, and should probably be different, since you didn't seem to correct the bug after face checking the bush the first time. Fun app though, it's nice to check and see who's online without firing up the game.

Bugs/Issues in the “Social” page. (1) The social page does not automatically refresh my friends list status or chat. You must force close the app from background and start it to force refresh (sometimes multiple time of this action is required). Pulling down the friend list to refresh did nothing (no feature implemented in this regard). (2) Chat history also does not sync with desktop client.

Sign in trouble. 😕. I have seen the adds many times so I decided to try the game out. When I got the game it said to log in or make an account, which I thought was normal for an app so I made one. When I had finished though, it said something messed up. I didn’t really think anything of it. Then it happened 4 more times. After that I decided to leave this review. I do still think this is a good game from what I have seen, but until I am able to play a three star is what I rate the app. Devs, if your reading this please fix the problem so I can play!!!

Great company. Thank you for giving me the greatest teamates and only some afk and toxic ones occasionally, also thanks for understanding that sometimes it is hard to control your temper and not banning me for everything I have said to my teamates. I think you guys should let us buy rp from the app or redeem codes on the app and let us see the in game store from the app. Yes I did give feedback about this but just Incase you guys didn’t see it i wanted to make a review about it, thanks again great company that I love

I Challenge RIOT Staff!. I have been playing league for over 3 years now and I always wanted a app. I don't know why it took so long but never the less it here now. My only concern is that it has little to no game features. Adding spectating would be amazing along with being able to see shop items and stuff even if you cannot buy them cause we all know the security issues with that. What my challenge is for you riot is to come out with a in app shop from client(just to see sales), stats of yourself and others (ALL stats), spectating, and lastly to be able to change runes and masteries in app since many of us don't have time to sit on a computer and do it but rather work little by little on it over a few days in between work and other things. That is my challenge to RIOT. This must be done by February 15 to be beaten. Good luck summoners.

Not bad, but.... The app is decent, but still needs work on. I like the style of the it and the fact I can check the news and my profile is great. Makes things a little more convenient for me. However some of the features needs work on. For example; match history looks okay at first, but after I tap on a match to see more details on the match, my options become very limited. I can only see one champion build path on the “Player Builds” tab. In conclusion, while the app isn’t bad, I feel like the features still needs a little more work on.

Great concept, but EXTREMELY buggy. If you are trying to message friends, half the time it will send but you won’t see it in chat until you refresh the app, making it look like a one-sided conversation. Every second or third time opening the app, it’s frozen and unresponsive, needing an app refresh. Sometime the match history UI is just not there, and doesn’t appear until you, you guessed it, refresh the app. When you are lucky enough to see the match history UI, it won’t be up to date, however an app refresh does NOT fix this. The only solution I’ve found to forcing match history to update is signing out of your account, refreshing app, signing back in, then the match history won’t be there so you have to refresh the app one or two more times (depending on if it freezes after first reset)

Is it a programming issue?. The app is amazing and clear. Easy to understand and perfectly accessible. Why oh why can’t I spectate games from the mobile app. I shouldn’t always need to get onto my computer in order to watch my brother learn that Jax is not an ADC or decide that one game with Vayne was enough to know that she is hard to play well. Spectating is an enjoyable aspect of the game for me and while I’m sure a lot of your programmers are working long days on your new fighting game this update would completely change how I interact with LoL and increase user satisfaction a million times over. I know for a fact it would at the very least increase mine! Thanks a bunch, great work so far! Look forward to the update ;) Sorry if the sarcasm was a bit too bm. Gl hf!

Nice app. App is good but I just wish you could check your shop in Val from the app

Needs major work. I love the idea of this app and I’ve loved it in the past, but for the past couple months it’s been unusable. When I go to my friends list on the app my friends summoner names look like this “736hdudhsj-irb73jdhd-ueubi37” so I can’t even tell who is who. It says everyone is offline even if there aren’t, can’t send or receive messages, can’t view my friends profile or my own. The only thing that does work is the front page with the news. I assume it’s down because you all are working on it during the preseason. All I ask is that it’s up and running in full function by season start in January. Will change my rating to 5 stars when that time comes. Thank you!

convenient, but buggy. it's so convenient to be able to, at a glance, see if my duo was on. It does bug out a lot tho, often times when it says they are online, they are not. Still mostly convenient tho

No match history for valorant. The app is perfection aside from the fact that’s I can’t see my match history for games other than LoL. Would be a nice touch

Good app. Pretty good app the only thing I think is missing is being able to see what is in the VALORANT shop if you play VALORANT or something like that. Being able to see your shop would be great for if someone is out and about and needs to buy a gift card they can but they know if it’s worth it. It’s kinda sketchy having to log into a sketchy third party website for a robot to log into your account and tell you when they could easily take the account. Please add this feature it would be a +1 and would make this rating a 5 star.

Rushed Update. This updated piled with only the recent release of iOS 14 is just awful. Riot made promises to improve the app to work better across all their games and now it’s barely possible to type in. Every couple of words I type, get deleted and I have to start over again. Auto correct is disabled so I’m just spamming gibberish to my friends in a desperate effort to make contact with them. And conversations don’t even default to the bottom, so I’m constantly looking at older messages rather than the most recently sent. Lastly, it doesn’t consistently notify me of my incoming messages so I’m completely out of the loop with my friends.

mid. i love using this app to stalk friends when i don’t want to boot up my computer, BUT ITS SO LAGGY AND ITS WRONG HALF THE TIME please fix

Skins pls. Rito, us Ornn/Nautilus/Skarner/Volibear/Reksai/any champ that has not gotten a skin in over two years are starting to “riot” lol. Yes, our favorite champs aren’t sexy females. Yes, our champs aren’t played as much as the others. But we still exist. There are still many who play these champions, and have eagerly waited for skin for their champ. Yet, we get nothing. We get more Lux skins. More akali skins. More Ezreal skins. More Yasuo skins. What about us? Are we forgotten? Just because we play champs that aren’t hot or popular? Sure, you may not make as much if you release a skin for our poor champions, but still. Wouldn’t you want to make us happy? Oh yea the app is cool too.

Excellent. Better than their client somehow

Doesn’t Offer Much. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with the app, but after forcing the change from the old league of legends companion app to an app that encompasses all of their games, they really don’t offer many features for any of the games. I mostly play LoL and aside from being able to see rank, last 20 games, and social info, I just wish it had more. Like masteries, titles, tokens, or even actual access to rune pages and builds. For the information/features they offer, I could just use an app like opgg where I don’t have to log in every single time I close it.

Dissapointed... I honestly wish it was better. I play League and I was using the app until it became unbearably bugged. I cannot literally even type in the chat, the whole text is getting deleted for no reason before I even finish typing a sentence. I have encountered few bugs before as well but none of them were so functionally infuriating. I just do not understand why it is hard to organise an app that only contains news and chat structure in it. I am honestly writing this review for one sole reason that hopefully this surge of negative reviews will wake up Riot to completely redevelop or invest more resources into fixing this potentially good tool for players (which is currently a completely tilting disaster)

App has declined... The app has always been pretty glitchy, but in the past it was usable and I could always see and send messages and my friends list (which is mostly what I feel people use it for) but ever since they transitioned to “League+” the app has completely stopped working. I get a notification for a message but can’t see it once I’m in the app and can’t send anything. Also it takes forever to load no matter the circumstances. I hope they can increase the functionality of the app and make it much better, or at least back to how it used to be— at least it worked!! I know it’s free but riot has a lot of loyal customers and the app should not be so dysfunctional.

No way to see stats. It says i can see state but i cant find a way to see my stats anywhere.

I expected much more from company like Riot Games. This app is not bad. You see who is online, all your friends group plus you can chat with them. However, there are so many things i dont like but it is only my personal opinion of course. 1) Its not for iPad. Why? Does it take million dollars to make simple app like this universal? Some people use it at home to see who is online without turning on LoL on PC. And many people have various iPads. 2) Desing! Its absolutely chaotic. The scroll option with tons of text everywhere... Not good. Search on App Store for "LoL Connect" (Sadly also only for iPhone) and compare the user interface. Its much better there, and that app was made by some guy from Mobafire guides I think 3) Notifications do not come everytime. Sometimes I get them after I enter this app. Maybe its only a bug but please fix it. So this app only deserves 3 start. I expected more from you. Thanks for your time, my LoL is patching so I am writing this. :)

Great concept! But needs work!. I'm so happy RIOT has finally given us an app to stay connected but there are a few things wrong and missing. It does not accurately display what people are playing in game. I ask my friend why he's in a ranked game as blitz when he never plays him and he says he is singed. And every game after that the app displayed the wrong champion. And one major thing this app is missing is the option to update your status!! And last, when you view your profile or a friends we should be able to view their recent match history! Other than these things, this app is great and has a lot of potential! Can't wait to see how it improves! Edit: noticed a bug. Get notified of a message but there is no message and I can not find who messaged me.

It’s pretty good. I think that it’s a really good idea, and executed well. I love that you can look at match history, see if your friends are online, look at peoples match history and stuff like that. I think you should be able to access more of your profile, like collection, the shop, purchase RP, look at free champ rotation. I only have one big request. Please, please, please add spectating for the app. It would be awesome if I could simply open the app and start watching my friends game instead of walking all the way over to my computer and logging in to league only to find that they finished the game 5 mins ago and it’s just the spectator delay.

Nice App - Needs Full Statistics Available To Put Over The Top. I enjoy this app for a number of reasons, but the only drawback I notice is not having the in-depth statistics available here as they are when on the computer. I know that there have been issues recently with those on the computer regarding bugs and not being accurate to some degree when returning from a down-time, but if given the ability to correct it and consistently have it available, I’d think adding that into the app would be a great addition. The gist of this was to suggest adding in the ‘next level’ stats where it analyzes lane/champion relationships and map control/income/combat for that specific summoner. Thanks for your hard work though and wish you all the best!

Attention: Riot Games. I'm giving this app 5 stars because I think it has a very nice layout and it's great looking at my past games on the go. However, I do have some problems with it. It isn't perfect by any means and I wanna note some things that could be done to make this an amazing app. First of all, I don't think it should be limited to only seeing your past 5 games. Match history should be at least 20 games, I would love to see more of my past games. Also, I think this app should focus a lot more on your games, instead of chatting with friends. Conversation apps are by far the most competitive, there are already so many great ones. I see what Riot Games is going for, but I think it should just be a side feature, instead of the main point of the app. My last thing is probably a pretty hard thing to program, but if this app had a feature where you could watch your past games, and look at the game stats, this would honestly hands down be my favorite app I own, and it would be such a nice addition to the real game. Its okay... The app has potential but for now the only thing that really bothers me is the app not correctly showing friends online. When you click the friends you have to wait a few seconds for the page to "refresh" your friends who are online but it still doesn't show the correct people online. You can't even pull the screen down or something to manually refresh the friends page. My friend and i got on the app to see who was online and we had 2 completely different lists of our friends online. He would see some of our friends on but i wouldn't see them and vise versa. Would be a great app if this was fixed but till then keep using your other app people.

A minor issue can cause chat catastrophe.. I’ve seen people play this game and it’s all fine and dandy, but here’s the thing. HOW THE FRIGG DO I START THE GAME?! I just downloaded this game because I heard people talking about it and saw people playing it and my room was shaking (It occasionally does that but we don’t wanna try to exorcise the house or it might get mad) like it does, and I was lonely and terrified so I downloaded the game. But here’s the catcher. I have NO FREAKING IDEA HOW TO ACCESS THE GAME Maybe it’s a me problem? I don’t know. Anyway, since this game is already getting some bad reviews I’m gonna be generous and give it 5 stars because I see people play it and it’s fine, whatever. Bai~

LoLing at this App. This app has its ups and downs. In the past it would be very far behind (still have an old player icon even after a day I updated it), it didn’t say who was online and offline, I would still have log in on my computer to see that info. It seems that in the last few updates, they have fixed the bugs which is good. The app is easy to use when it functions by telling you whose online, offline and on mobile. It is also very user friendly with having all your friends located in a list. It is essentially a text messenger for fans of the game. Typing and messaging work the exact same way that text messaging on a smartphone works. It is a great help for anyone that plays the game hardcore or casually and helps you stay in touch with the online community.

Awesome update!. Loving the interface! It has made easy access to patch updates and news. The tabs at the bottom simplify things from a drop down menu. Being able to view stats on games you’ve played in my profile is pretty nice addition. I did notice the status on Riot Mobile was different from League. Hopefully it’s global (unless some dweebs want it individual per game).

Better then the client. 10/10 if rito updates their client I hope it’s as clean as this app.

Guild chat. The app need to have the ability to chat and send message to the Guild chat.

Awesome app. I want to give this app 5 stars because it's an awesome app. It's UI is smooth and clean, and it's very user-friendly. The deduction of one star is from a notification bug. The only bug I've encountered while using this app is the red push-notification does not update correctly when I check my chat and read my messages. The notification counter will indicate 6 unread messages while my inbox is marked as all read. I tried to clear my chat history and the "notification counter" still did not update. Why does it constantly log me out. I might as well download the app for the first time every time I use it because I can’t get back in after closing it out

No Connection. This app is frankly broken. I can read some of the more recent news updates for Riot’s various games on it, but as a chat messenger it does not work. When I try to send a message I am only told to input my Riot ID and send a request to accounts; none of my friends made in the various games Riot has connected to its own client appear on my app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, checked in my settings, and attempted to connect to various networks. Every time the same issue persists. This is a serious issue as I would only use this app to try and coordinate with my friends for games.

Wow. Very nice app

Great but has more potential. I absolutely love this app. Being able to communicate with friends in and out of game. There are a few flaws but I want to focus on the apps future potential. This app only features the chat portion of league. But I think the next best course of action for this apps future would be spectating. A feature like this would be a tremendous step in the right direction. Not only add spectating, but have a chat tab while spectating. This is all I have to say for now. I may add future ideas to the table. But overall thank you for this awesome app!

Not great. Riot mobile didn’t really live up to expectations. It’s essentially steal league+ but it lost a few functions during the transition. I don’t know about anyone else, but personally if I don’t open the app for a day or I don’t close the tab after I’m done using the app and try to go back to it later it makes me log in again every single time. It’s a little frustrating trying to check messages and see information like patch notes without opening the client on a computer and having to log in every single time. Other than that it’s essentially a messaging app with news on a specific topic really. (Side note: currently it shows a notification on the app but every time I open it it tells me to log in. I click to log in it briefly flashes a loading screen that then vanished and the buttons stop working until you reopen the app to go through the same thing again.)

Buggy. The social tab doesn't update/refresh very well. A refresh button might be a good idea so we can force it to update and show the people that are actually online or in game.

App seems to have gotten worse. Before the app was great. Worked as expected, friends would message and I’d get a notification, log on to the client and play some games. Now notifications don’t work at all for anything. No messages. No esports. Nothing. Half of the time it takes a minute to load my friends list. If there are any pending messages from friends it takes 30ish seconds to load those. I tried logging out and back in. But after hitting the logout button, I’m still logged in. After deleting and reinstalling the app nothing is any better. I’m pretty disappointed with the direction this app has gone.

Dear Riot remove fully paid perma banned account. Please get rid of perma banned j think it unfair that people can get away with calling me a btxch blame me for there faults and I been playing leagues a long time you perma banned wrong account and the fact we spent so much money on a single account is wrong …I rly think it should change .I was one of the victims that got perma banned for 4 games in aram I been harassed and blamed and treated badly not fun experience at all then in normal games as a jungle people blame you even tho u do good and report u but yet the other person doesn’t get punished after insulting me instead lose everything I think it stealing peoples money and time and hrs into the game and is wrong and needs to be fixed there is too many trolls and harassment going on and us victims get the unfair side of it

App is broken. Literally can’t do anything besides see news, can’t chat, because there is no people to chat to, no friends, and yeah, can’t even log in or tell if I’m logged in. Next time worry more about the actual software and not the icon(: gg

Very Useful. I really enjoy this app because it is very convenient and easy to use when the computer is not available.

Notifications. After 7 years of this app, they still haven’t fixed match history. It still saids games are from last year ago. Learn to actually develop an app before you put it out. Fix the system and I might change my rating from a 1 star to a 2. How bad rubbish is this app.

Great no bugs so far. Great app very handy! Allows me to keep intouch with my friends even when im not at my computer and no bugs no crashes everything seems fine just wondering would it he possible to look at ur own match history ?

Needs a chat history timer. Like the actual game it should get rid of messages after time because it gets really laggy and sometimes people wanna delete their messages but they can't.

Profile and Match History doesn’t work.. Whenever i check my profile or match history it just displays “Profile Summary is not available.” and it has not worked ever since i used the app.

Too many issues. Sometimes nothing loads, all my friends/ half my friends disappear and notifications are not consistent. Far too laggy

Good idea, but not a great app. It’s kinda like the launcher for LoL, but without the game. It would be nice to be able to purchase and do some champion setup from the app like runners and item sets, or spectate some matches. The not so great side, chat is buggy, often not updated messages, a few times I sent a message but it doesn’t show in the history, but I can see the message has been sent on the PC launcher. And the recent matches are from way back instead of recent.

Notification. I like the app but I really want it that it send me notifications when my friends talk to me,etc.

Black screen and update problems. Just got the app and it has a black screen,I fixed this by turning off my wifi and putting on my mobile data. The only problem now is that the app doesn't update to the recent things on my LoL account.

LOL friendly to player. Always good to be able to check my friends on LOL and chat with them without having to exchange another social accounts.

Data going off screen. When I'm viewing the ward placed section in my match histories the ward count always goes off screen, and the same thing occures for the damage dealt secontion as well. Please fix the issue, but overall it's a great app. 👍

It's new so understandable. I like how riot has finally made an app for league. Its nice but can we add some stuff? Like seeing match history or changing status. OO how about clubs? Lets do something for our clubs! By the way got some problems with the app.. After some time talking with a friend on the app it started to slow down.. Buggy and stuff :L could you fix it? Don't know the technical words needed to elaborate on what I'm saying.. All in all great app. Good on you riot. All in all its great!

Mission Task. Today riot has released patch 7.12 currently on public servers, we have assigned missions for us to do every day, well my point is every time I get back from work I wanna see my mission task set today on this app, so I know what to do earlier instead logging in looking at my league of legends client, this is an brilliant idea just because this is a phone app where you can check your match history and look who's online a message then saying, "stay on I'm logging in now", giving them an indication riot please give me feedback to everyone. Useable sometimes. I like how u can message people on with the app and that it shows league related news but the app only works with wifi and when connected with 4g there is a pop up saying “can’t connect to chat”. Tried reporting this via the app but that also doesn’t work. Used to be perfect before

Friendly. The League Friends Chat App is a friendly app. ;)))

Perfect other then 1 bug. The entire thing is perfect and does exactly what it's meant to do the only problem I'm having is there are 3 chat notifications that will not go away even if I clear all chat history etc.

League of Legends. Already used it to check in and see who is online for a game. Really handy. Suggestions for future updates include spectating games, changing summoner icon and transferring over the league of legends emoticons from facebook :)

Match history. Seeing your match history on the app is kinda a bum cause it only show my matches from like 2 months ago, its not letting me see my 20 recent matches.

Needs a voice chat feature！！！. This app really needs a Chat feature, like voice chat or video chat! it'll be so useful during a game if every one can communicate! turn the mic on!

Defeats purpose of App. Tried deleting the app and re-downloading it to no avail. I can’t see match history of myself or others, my profile is not showing, I cannot get notifications from others and this has been going on for months. Defeats purpose of the app.

It doesn’t work anymore.... I tried viewing my match history but it says summary not available. It used to work for me but for some reason it doesn’t work anymore.

Broken. - Random numbers & letters as usernames - Unable to load profiles/ match histories - Extremely slow loading on everything (including the news) - Inaccuracy in displaying online friends - Unable to chat with friends (the fundamental purpose of the app)

Great, but one thing to add... This is a great and handy app! It easy to use and i have had no bugs what so ever. One thing i think should be added to this app is the ability to buy champions from your phone using ip/rp

Notification System needs fixing!. The notification system is soo buggy! It doesn’t notify me when my friend talk back to me. I got to manually open the app back up and load any new messages. Hope this gets fixed soon!

Cool app. It’s nice app, would be cool if you could edit your runes page, item sets, select skins, buy skins on LoL, Valorant or whatever else

Valorant skins. this is a great app, but i’d like to see the ability to buy valorant skins from your phone using an apple gift card. As someone who doesn’t have a credit card or any other form of payment that the game offers, this would be a great way for me to purchase skins and enjoy the game a lot more.

Bugs - iPhone 6S. Main bugs are that it sometimes dosnt load the chat with friends and occasionally crashes. By not loading I mean it dosnt show anyone online nor have updated chat history

League of legends. I’ve been really excited about this cool new game everyone has been playing and I’m really nervous about this all and I’m about to play it

Still Broken. The app has been broken for more than a month, what are you even doing on these updates? “We bought a randuins to improvise stability”??? How about you buy some common sense and fix the frickin app

Chat not working. this app used to work fine. now when I open the app, it will say “cannot connect to chat. we’ll try again.” my internet is not an issue since all my other apps are working fine. please fix this issue

Can’t see anything since update. Since the recent update, nothing on the app function other than replying to chat. Can’t see user profile, own and friends match history. Cant manage friend list either.

Notifications don't work. You need to fix this issue The notification system never displays anything when I get a message back from a friend. This is very poor design as every time I have to load back into the app to see the message. I have also had a friend having the same issue.

Loading trouble. Even after logging in and stuff nothing would load it would just keep me where news and that is so I'm kinda confused because I couldn't play:(

A lot of bugs on Iphone 11. Hello, this app is great to communicate on but ever since league+ its gotten really glitchy, would be great if you could provide us with an update. Its impossible to view anyones profile or see the past games.

Cannot connect to chat or check profile. I can use the app and see who is online, however, when it shows new message badges, I get in the app, it doesn't load the the new messages, it can’t be refresh, the badges never go away. When I check profile, it says unable to connect. I like the old LOL chat app better, this app is useless..

Suggestion. Maybe make a function where we are notified when friends finish games?

Notifs and Loading issues. Love the app literally just because it’s a league app but legit there ain’t any getting around the notifs they are super bugged they sometimes show msgs as banners and they never stay in y notifs history. The app doesn’t even load sometimes which is worse but not consistently bad.

Could improve, but I feel like it's been forgotten. The app has a few visual issues that would make the app look like it's professionally designed. Notifications are buggy, with the app saying I have 4 notifications but I've read them all, or not logging I've read new messages in chats I am currently viewing. I understand League is a computer game, but it's popularity is driven by the friendships and communication between players. These groups need to be able to coordinate well on the go to create an enjoyable match made experience

PERFECT... Besides one little bug. The app is great the only thing is I have a chat notification that will just not go away.

But no one has friends on League. Great, now I can chat to all the friends I don't have.

Great mobile. Not sure why it’s heavily downvoted. To show offline friends, go to settings. You can check match histories. You can make fun of your mate for inting all his games, while you’re in the go. 5/5

Junk app?. The only function I used to use was the match history checking, but now it’s just useless for me.

Match History. The change from league + to riot mobile I think was a good change. The app overall is easier to use for multiple games, but my issue is that match history and stats and such are unavailable despite the feature being really easy to use in league +. I imagine it shouldn’t have been to hard to bring it over to riot mobile but this is riot we’re talking about.

Messages is wack. Clicking on one conversation pops up a different one and it’s not properly showing the messages correctly. It’s only use is to communicate with friends and it’s completely frustrating to use right now.

Friends list gone. I have to readd my friends to the friends list on the app. Unlike before where the moment you sign in it’s there.

Messages glitch out. Sometimes the people in my messages get swapped and so do the messages. Lets say i wrote “Hey” to my friend Kayla, it would show up in my other friends DM.

seems ok i guess. there seems to be no trouble so far compared to what everyone else here talks about. its nice that i can message league friends even when i dont have the client open so ye thats kewl. i can also check match history which is neat but i wish the app allowed us to see each match details,, like graphs and whatever. theres really not much to the app but its fine since i just need it to talk with friends,, a couple more extra features would be great tho.

This app is literally pointless. The fact that you guys said you made it better than League+ when in reality it’s worse. The app is so buggy and laggy, match history doesn’t work, it constantly logs you out so you’ll never get messages due to that. And no matter how many times you login it’ll log you right back out 10min after you close the app.

Multimillion Dollar Company BTW. App doesn’t even work, just use op gg if you wanna check your friends match history and text them if you wanna chat. Amazed at how a company like Riot cant even make a proper mobile app.

Language error. It shows in Korean but I don't even have a korean account. Also I cannot change the language，what's going on Riot？

Bugs. The app doesn’t always load my message properly, I have to constantly force close the app and re-open it in order to see my updated messages.

Cannot even log in today. Cannot login using riot account. Nothing pops up when clicking the icon. Is there really a point from changing League+ to this new app? Match history and rank LP of friends have been unavailable since launch.

Riot can’t even make a good mobile app. About as bad as you would expect from riot. Lacking basic functionality and is just horrible. Updates somehow make it worse.

Disappointed. So I was expecting to actually be able to play a mobile version of valorant since I’ve seen some videos a few months ago about it but obviously that’s not the case. I gave it more stars since I can still read patch notes and msgs so kinda cool ig. I probably should’ve read what it was before downloading

What’s the point?. No match history. This app is useless. They’ve been “working hard” to enable match history for months. It was working fine before when this app was League+

It’s meh. So far the app seems pretty pointless besides the news for competitive teams (scores, news etc.) One step for improvement would be showing your match history and different statistics for your account.

Logging me out. Everytime I open the app it makes me log back in. I’ll log in and then close it for 20-30mins then when I reopen the app it tells me to login again :/

The latest update completely broke the app. Profile is blacked out, the chat conversations aren’t in the right order. The news tab resets once the app refreshes

Status. Would like to be able to remove the League+ status, its very unnecessary.

App still crashes every time I try to open it. I was so excited for the new app to come out since the old one had been crashing constantly for me for months, but nope, not even with a clean reinstall does this app work. It loads in and 2 seconds later it crashes again. Please fix this.

Worse than the client. Haha and I thought the league client was a buggy mess, wait till you try this. 85% of the features don’t work after the last update, and after 2 months they’re yet to be fixed.

History match. the history match needs to be fixed, I couldn't open it since the changed until now. What is the point of putting match history there when you can't even check it, please fix it.

App Got Worse. Seems like every time something gets added to the app it gets worse. After the recent overhaul to League+ and not just chat for league friends, nothing works anymore. You can only read the news at the front. When trying to chat to friends or view their match history which is new, it just shows a blank page. they should've kept it simple. app to chat or see who's online so you can get on your pc to play. stats and match history are already done by other apps and done much better.

10/10 amazing app for LOL players. I have to say this app works really well, if you play league you defiantly want this app. Anytime a friend messages me I get it instantly on my phone and I can message them back as well as being able to see what friends of mine are online. I recommend this app to any league players that play often and hope riot can make more apps for our league community =^)

Does what it was made to do.. This app does what it was made to do it does it well, while looking very nice. Because of this it earns an easy 4/5 stars. It's not a 5 star app because it doesn't bring anything too exciting to the table. I hope that later on they add some new feature such as spectating, or having the ability to purchase RP, champs, skins, ect from your phone. Overall: Ty rito. It's a nice app, I just hope you guys will make it extraordinary.

Finally a legit League of Legends app from rito. The app itself is really pretty. Makes me excited for the upcoming client update on PC later this year. I'm giving it a 4 start because I would enjoy being able to look at my runes and masteries, possibly being able to edit them but that's kind of overkill but it would be nice. Great app, recommend it for any one who plays league!

SPECTATE AND SHOP PLS. We the people want, no NEED the shop and spec mode so we get more addicted and feel you guys at riot more money. I mean we want it, you guys want it so why not? Also you guys can add TFT too in the app. As well as being able to make builds and so on so I can do it on my way home and not waste 10-15 mins when I jump on a new champ. Love you guys!

Simple app not exactly what I'd hoped for... The app is cool but what disappointed me was that you didn't implement a feature where by you can buy champions, skins wards etc A feature like this would be so helpful for example, what if I'm on vacation and a skin sale or champion sale comes on and I don't have my computer close by. I would miss the sale which is very sad. But with the feature I mentioned above I could purchase rp like I usually would on my computer and buy a skin or champion who's on sale or not.

Annoying Bug. The app itself is fairly basic which isn't a bad thing. The one annoying bug that really bugs (phreak pls) me is that when the app has a notification count next to the icon, it will stay there until you reinstall the app. It will not change if you look at the messages or delete the conversation. Fix it and it'll be a great app to check which of your friends are on.

Bug!!! No Notifications!. The app looked and feels great! Lots of info and lore, stats to look at. You can message your friends, but that’s where the bug lies. I’m an iOS user. 6s+ since i have reinstalled the app and still have the same issue, where when sent a message it lol friends will not push a notification. The message will still show up if you open the app but will not send a notification. There are forum posts about this on [NA] LOL community as well as [EUW] where multiple people including myself are having this issue. Please fix-I like to keep in contact with my LOL friends

Very frustrating. I like this app, I use to use it a lot on the go to chat with my friends. Recently though it has become very frustrating because I can no longer log into my account. Is this a bug or something? I also notice that I can no longer log into my account on the website. Can you guys please fix this?

Overall. I've used several different third party apps to chat and access stats, and while you can't (as of this moment) access stats, I have to say that this app blows all others out of the proverbial water. Looking forward to all improvements to come to an already beautifully designed app!

App not working. I was using League+ one day, and then a few minutes later, i opened it and it didn't open at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and then it still wouldn't open. I restarted my phone, and it still wouldn't work. I didn't even touch it in the settings at all. It worked like 30-40 seconds before, then I tried opening it and it suddenly didn't open. Please help me with this problem. Is anyone having it? And how can you fix it? Please let me know it would help a lot.

Rough Patch. This companion app has been great in the past, it allowed you to view your friends’ profiles, message them, read patch notes and watch streams and much more. Some of these feature are semi functional but the app seems like the gears that make it work get continuously jammed. To be fair, Riot made the announcement that they are changing the app from LoL friends to League+ and right around there is when the app started melting down. Hopefully there is a light on the horizon for this app and all the bugs will be fixed soon so it can be fully functional companion to League; however, until then, it’s pretty not great.

Needs more effort. This app is really good don't get me wrong. It's just missing a lot like spectate system a place where you can see the items and summoner spells. Those little things can be helpful. Also maybe even a tab for runes and masteries and a tab for making your own build. Those little things aren't intensive they are just text please riot make that happen. Kappa

Like it but. I like the updates done to the app like adding the KDAs and stuff but recently nothing seems to be able to be refreshed like the news feed and profiles just don’t show up at all. Every one of my friend’s profiles always say they’re offline or haven’t been on the app in a while but they’re literally playing the game at that moment. My profile won’t load either — anytime I press on any profile, including mine, it’ll say it’s not available. So, needs some fixing.

Mostly good, minor problems. The app works pretty well. I get notifications when a friend messages me. I can see if a friend is in a game and what type of game they are in. Honestly, I appreciate this greatly since I enjoy playing with people more than playing by myself. The only issue is that after a while, the app kind of bugged. The notifications got stuck at 30 and I was no longer notified of any new messages. I had a hard time seeing new messages and could only find them if I knew where to look. Fortunately, reinstalling the app seemed to fix that for now, so all is good once more. If it weren't for that small issue, I would definitely give the app five stars. A really cool and possible future addition to the app would be the ability to spectate games. I think that would be marvelous.

Keeps crashing and restarting my phone. When ever I open this app there is always some difficulty. Most of the time I click the app it crashes, and send me back to the home screen. The other half of the time it restarts my phone, this is the first time I have seen an app restart my phone. On a rare occasion though the app opens up and is useable, but still that is a rare occurrence. I do have a IPhone 6 which only runs iOS 12, so that might be affecting the opening of the app, but still no app should be restarting a phone. Fix the App

Good but off. Overall a great app with a great basis. However, I constantly am not being updated with my chats with my friends if I switch between mobile and desktop. The chat history for desktop doesn't work up in mobile and vice versa. Furthermore I am being notified by my own messages to my friends on my phone that I sent on my laptop.

Friend request Bug?. I’ve had this app for a couple months now and suddenly since last week I’ve been getting a friend request notification from someone called “has”? When I check there’s no such friend request. Many of my friends are having the same issue. Please fix this because it gets annoying and lowkey creepy too.

Great idea, needs refining. Just like a lot of the other reviews on here, I also do not get push messages among other chat related bugs. The most annoying one is that it tells me I have over 50 unread messages at all times, even though I've read them all. Logging into the league client or re-logging into lol friends doesn't fix this problem. Great idea, I really like where riot is going with this, and there is plenty of room for additional features.

Just what I needed. This is literally the best, interface is great everything is smooth and now I can look at my friend list without logging onto the game or just to check who's playing, i can also look at competitive matches without getting on a third party website, this is just AWESOME

Not bad, but not good.. I mean. It's a chat app. That's literally it. This app does nothing but let you see who's online and send messages. So, other than it being featureless, push notifications also do not work. I don't get any notice that someone has messaged me, even when I'm directly in the app. Beyond that, the timestamps are little to non-existent. I can't tell if someone asked me to play 10 minutes ago or 10 hours ago. This would also be remedied by push notifications.

Few Glitches. This app is fine and all but it has it glitches. Sometimes when you open it, it will show that someone is online or in game and when you try to chat with them, it will say they're in mobile. Also the messages are also glitchy. Sometimes messages will appear in the middle of a conversation, sometimes my message will go to top or bottom of the conversation. If these are fixed, this app will really be great.

Another helpful way to keep in contact through league!. Having to use the app is quick and easy to use. Add your friends in game or in app and always keep in contact for that next game! Allows the use of chatting to friends currently on league of legends or on the league friends app. I would recommend to those who enjoy league of legends as much as I do! Great, but missing something.. The app is wonderful! I just think it's missing some features that would really push it to the top such as: listing the current champion rotation, the ability to make builds on the go, watch esports highlights. Those are but a few of the things that could turn this already useful app into a beacon of greatness that could overshadow other apps that allow communities of League of Legends players to communicate. Good but... I think its a really good app where people can see info about games that were made by riot. The only bad thing is that this app doesn’t have notifications for valorant updates or news. You have an option to select what games you want to choose to receive notifications from and they don’t have valorant listed as an option. Other than that, the app is pretty good itself but don’t download if you just play valorant.

What happened? App glitching.. This app worked fine until last night. My friends list, profile, and messaging disappeared and I can’t find friends to message either. The app works 100% on my iPad, but not on my Samsung S8. Not sure if this is due to testing your new app, but it’s definitely affecting me and others. It’s a great app, but this isn’t the first time this has happened(it’s getting annoying). I already tried deleting the app, restarting my phone, clearing cache, it won’t budge. Please fix this ASAP.

It’s alright app. I feel like they could have done so much more with the app probably give you more access to your account and to your champions, be able to see your rune page and purchases like skins and chromas, what I would like to see in the match history section is to be able to replay your videos from your previous matches. It’s a good app hasn’t given me any issues but I feel they could have added more.

Great app. The people who think you should be able to change runes or spectate your friends are asking way too much and this should be rated a 5 star app! Saved me a lot time when I was 5 minutes away from being able to play and asked my friends to wait for me. 5 stars all the way

Please LISTEN. Please add the spectating feature for this app. I want to watch my friend's match without log in the League client. The camera will set as automatic in default and it will turn back the automatic mode after you swiped the screen for 5s. I know the spectating mode is just simulate the game and it required to install the full game to get that feature. However, if you create a small lol app that has all the requirements just for spectating, everyone will download it no matter how heavy the app is. Please consider my idea to upgrade this app

This app has a lot of potential, but it has along way to go.. There are so many features from the game client that can be implemented in this app that haven't been added yet. •I want to be able to review my match history. • I want yo view where I am in the ranked ladder. To see ranked stats like the win percentage on a specific champ. •I want to be able to go through the champion roster. See what champions I own or don't own. Read through their lore, skills, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. • This one might be further off in implementation than the other request, but it would be cool if we could make in app purchases for skins, runes, and champs. Even though the app is bare bones now. I'm confident that the talented folks at Riot are already working on the items in my wish list.

Does what it's supposed to do. This app does what is says it does and does it pretty well. Sometimes the chat doesn't sync well but that doesn't happen often enough to be annoying. This is perfect for all of my friends that respond to league messages more often than texts messages.

Love the app, but some requests. I love this app as it allows me to talk with League friends and look at my match history on the go. However, I wish this app would essentially be the whole league client, but without the option of playing a game. It would be so cool looking at your collection, seeing your profile, etc. all on your device. Also, it would be awesome to be able to purchase RP and access the store through your device, on this app.

Exactly what was advertised. I'm glad to have an app now which lets me co-ordinate with my League friends without having to be at the computer. The interface looks great, and you can actually access chats you may have exited recently. My only complaint is I could not figure out how to set my status message, or if it's possible through this. If it's possible to, this gets a 5/5. No bugs so far, and there's clear options to report them if they are found.

Way too slow to fix bugs. This app used to be great up until a month or so ago where they “rehauled the match history”. Now it’s not even functional and full of bugs like friends not showing as online, can’t view your own profile/MH, and you can’t even chat which is the whole point of the app. I’m so disappointed in Riot that they haven’t fixed or addressed ANY of these issues. The huge drop in ratings with nothing being done to combat the bugs is proof that Riot just doesn’t care.

It's Legit!. Just like what Riot said on its website, summoners from all over are able to view and chat with their friends. The layout looks fantastic and its overall performance is very smooth. I hope for more features, but this is a great start for League players to connect with one another!

Example of how a company can ruin an app. This app wasn’t great, but it worked. Had this for the past 2 years using it to talk to friends who are in games on my phone. It did it’s job. I could look at match histories, receive messages, see old messages, etc. just fine. Now, ever since they changed it to “league+” and decided to “””””FIX””””” it, the app is broken in every way possible. Bugs I’ve experienced: -won’t show old messages -don’t get notices of new messages -sometimes new messages just don’t appear on app -if I close the app it literally stops working until I reinstall it, telling me everyone is offline and not sending my chats -friends profile summary doesn’t work -match history doesn’t work -my own profile summary doesn’t work -app is beyond slow and useless -news buttons leading me to dead pages that don’t work Riot. Please. Revert it back to old League of Legends friends. I don’t know how you butchered this app this badly. But fix it, for Gods sake.

GREAT. But.. Can you guys at least try to make it where we can spectate games with our mobile device? I mean like the iPhone 7 could possibly hold it but like make the graphics a little bit worse so at least iPod 6th gen can load it. It sounds like a lot of work and most likely is a lot. But , could you try to make it either way?

Just gets worse. It honestly keeps getting worse and worse. The only reason I have ever had a League app on my phone was to get messages from duos or just friends that want to play yet now I can’t even do that, it’s incredibly rare for it to correctly show who is online and it’s almost never capable of letting you view current messages and being able to respond to said messages. It does nothing but freeze constantly and all the info it gives you see on social media so that part of the app is just a waste.

Wow!. I downloaded the app just to see when my friends were online. But the revamped news section and updates are fantastic. I’d frequently go to the LoL website to read the stories of characters and watch update videos, but now it’s all localized in the one app. Amazing Riot. Well done and smooth with that league of legends perfection.

Sometimes chat takes too long to appear. When someone replies back to you it just takes way too long to appear and sometimes it don’t even appear at all. You just gotta keep refreshing or close the app and reopen just to see one reply. Was expecting messages to instantly appear just like in game client does. Other than that it’s a good app. Wish they can work on the message delay and stuff as it really helps getting people connected.

Great concept but very buggy. I've been playing league for a long time now and this app has always been a want of mine. The app itself is very well designed and that would be awesome but it simply doesn't work for me. Messages come in after what is days or even months and outgoing messages don't go through at all. Even friends who appear to be online are offline and visa versa. Notifications don't come through ever and it's just all around really buggy. If possible I will update my review in the future when these bugs are fixed.

Add a item builder set up.... As in I would like to pick a hero when I’m like on lunch break at work, got a great item build I wanna put into play but I have to log onto a PC?! No let’s make this an app designed to let you build and see stats for your champs down to how much damage each level and how greatly (or little) any given item would effect them. Like for jhin it would be great to see what happens when I put on kraken slayer and guinsoo with something as stupid as nashars tooth?! Hmmmm 🤔🤫😅🤯☠️

Could be better. I have used this app for about a week. There are some pros and cons. I can check if my buddies are on. I was able to contact my friend that was in a queue to back out, so we can play. Okay the cons are just I wish they added more. Can you add League of Legends Club Chat. I would like to look at my friends profile to see there runes and masteries and possibly there match history. Have not seen any bugs so that's good. Well I hope you take my idea of adding that. Needs work. I keep getting errors where it says "disconnected, we'll keep trying" every few seconds, and I have to push the home button and then reopen the app to reconnect. When I log out of the client, it sends me notifications for messages I've already seen. It sends me notifications for my own messages sometimes. Also the notifications come too frequently. Only one is needed to let you know someone is trying to talk to you. It shouldn't appear every time you get a message when you haven't replied unless it's from different people.

Unstable Work. Well I'll just point out all the things I notice that are unstable when I use the app... 1. The messages I receive lag to receive, I'll get a notification at least 5 minutes before the actual message shows up. 2. The profile loading, I'm not sure if it's suppose to show what champ my friends are currently playing in a match, but it shows random champions every time I reload the profile. 3. The players game status lags.

When it works it’s great. It took a long time, but the app finally managed to fix itself with the last update. You can view profiles, send messages, view your friends list properly, everything that the app was intended to do. Not only this, but the league client has finally fixed its lag issues as well. Now let’s hope we don’t have to deal with another few months of no functionality :D

Great app, but so much more potential. Nice app for LoL players. I wish we could access our loot, the store, and maybe spectate games. I feel like I should be able to see my collection of characters, skin shards, champion shards, chests and everything you can do in the game, except play the game. Not even to open the chests or interact with them but just be able to see what loot my account has would be nice.

Good App but should have more features. The league app is very convenient sometimes but I feel it would be better if it had more features like being able to see our stats on each champion and spectating games. I strongly feel they should not be limited to only on PC since they’ll make the app more useful since we can already see our match history and chat with friends on there so why not be able to see our stats?

Needs to have a lot more features. Being able to chat from my phone is cool and all, but there are already apps that do that. What this app needs to be is a phone version of the client. Client posts, videos, the ability to look up stats, alter your runes/masteries, maybe even access to the client store, definitely the ability to spectate. These are the things this app needs to be able to do, and until these features are added i will consider this app a joke and me giving it 2 stars is generous
