Best ear trainer out there!!!. Amazing app! Great for ear training! Learn to hear chord qualities and bass lines. The difficulty level ranges from beginner to very difficult. Great for all ages that want to eat train! Only the best from Stefon Harris.

Great!!!. As a musician and student, Stefon has been a huge encouraging force for me. His teaching method is all about giving people the tools to go out and do whatever they want with them. Harmony is one of those tools, and I especially like this app because it's so fundamental. It's not about style or genre per se. Whatever your interest in music is, this app allows you to bring that to the table. My grandfather, in his 80s, is a music-lover and amateur musician, is also into the app. Check out some of Stefon's videos on YouTube too- he's been teaching his conception of harmony for a while and it's really deep!

Great tool for the classroom!. I’ve been using this app with a few of my students. It’s very easy to use, and it really does help to acutely increase the level of intimacy between the student, their instrument, and the fundamental colors of harmony. It very quickly teaches them to sharpen their ears, by paying closer attention to detail. Well worth the purchase

Good app but where’s the update?. I thought there would be an update last summer.

Like Working With Pianist. While the other apps and methods for learning may be something we all do as a big part of our practice routines, I believe they lack what this app provides. We tend to think and see our way through our practice routine more than hear. This app definitely puts all the intervals in to a musical context that challenges your ear. I love it, can't stop using it. You can stop reading now, because that's all you really need to hear. I honestly believe this app will change the way you experience music. As a result your musical conversation will be based on a different part of your brain, the part that will make all the difference in your playing. After using this app guided by someone who knows it, I experienced a paradigm shift. I think the only analogy I can use is when one learns another language. They speak it roughly and slowly translating from their language to the language spoken. Once they stop translating and start thinking in that language it flows and they speak much easier. Base your conversation from where it comes from and stop translating!

Details!. I've used the app for a few hours and can already tell a difference in the way I am digesting listening to music. My ability to hear certain things more clearly is helping to allow me to simultaneously pay attention to more details in music that I previously overlooked. Highly recommended!

A few bugs, no updates. Sadly, this app seems to have been abandoned. A few bugs with transposing instruments and lack of customisation options makes me regret having spent so much on this app. Hopefully the developer comes back to fix these issues, because this could be so great.

Waste of money. Definitely not what I thought it was going to be. Was looking for a way to drone chords and this is definitely not it

Great app for ear training!!. My college professor recommended I download this app for ear training, and it has definitely been a great help! It's become easier to anticipate hoed changes when I play in real time. The app is very user friendly and everything is easily accessible. There's only one thing I could think of as an improvement to make an already great app even better, and that is to add 7th chords as well as extensions! I really hope more musicians who take their training seriously download this app and share it with others, especially jazz musicians who need a helping hand with hearing chord qualities and changes.

Indispensable!. As a songwriter, this app helps train the ear to identify both intervals, chord qualities and progressions in a quiz-like format that doesn't feel strained or boring. You will improve musically if you use this and in time be able to listen to new music and pick out the bass line and chords used on the fly. For $10 it's a steal. Win. Win.

Wish I’d found this sooner. Upright bass player here. Great way to do both, practice reading and work on one’s ear. Love alternating bass and treble clef. Do wish one could advance through Listen & play (ear on) with a Bluetooth foot peddle. Otherwise awesome!

Worth Every Penny (and more)!!!. You NEED this app! I have a degree in music, and it still takes me to school. It has improved my ear training skills immensely. I have used it with my private students aged 6 and up and everyone learns something from it. Don’t sleep on how useful this app can be. If that doesn’t convince you to grab it, you know you have spent more money on way less useful things. Put your money towards something extremely helpful and beneficial (like this app)!!!

ACCESSIBLE. Finally I have something that I can use to help not only my students but myself to hear progressions in a musical way! The platform is SOOO accessible and gives you a progress report with analytics! I can't wait for the sevenths!

Wonderful App! Small Request.... I am incredibly impressed with the development of this application. I had the privilege of seeing a presentation of this app at PASIC 2015 in San Antonio. I have one small suggestion/request. I am colorblind. I have trouble seeing the highlighted note in "Listen and Play". Would it be possible to add more colors so that people with trouble differentiating certain colors can have an easier time? Thank you for the time you put into this tremendous app! 5 Stars!!

Fabulous. I've been waiting for this ever since Stefon & his partner mentioned it at PASIC. Like others have stated, it's great and a lot of fun to use. I'm definitely logging some hours in this app. Just get it, practice & have fun growing! One small thing I'd like to see is the ability to override Auto-Lock. Maybe I don't see it? But that would be great. Thanks guys!!

Unbelievable!!!!. As a music educator, conductor and jazz improviser.....this app is a game changer! Fantastic!!. I've been looking for something like this for awhile. Many ear training exercises require a partner to actually play the music, this app eliminates the need for that. I love that you can dial in exactly what you want/are working on. Most importantly, it's fun! Having ear training in an app makes it almost like a game, so learning is easy. My one complaint is that the progress tab could be a little more detailed. Fantastic job on the app! Looking forward to the next update!

Best app for chord progressions. This app is one of a kind, generates realistic chord progressions you would hear in real music. I am finally progressing quickly at hearing chords...even starting to make sense of hearing chord inversions. It would be nice if the next version had minor chord progressions, the chord progressions provided are for major keys only...which is a good place to start anyway.
