Find an Easier Way to Validate Purchase in Korg Gadget. I don’t want to have to download this huge app just to unlock the instruments in Gadget. Fix it. Until you do, this is your rating.

No way these are Korg Sounds. Downloaded then downloaded expansion packs. More like a cheap walmart casio than any Kork Kronus sound. Scam. Take the name korg off of this. Cant make real music with this.

No audiobus or IAA?. I downloaded it and would really like to buy it. But it doesn't show up in Audiobus?? Neither this nor gadget le show up in audiobus OR as IAA in BeatMaker 3. What?? This 'best synths' don't have any interconnectivity? Something must be wrong, so Devs please respond and clarify before the sale ends. they're useless without audiobus or iaa. So please answer quick, what gives? I'm using audiobus 2.4.1(1)

Excellent Korg sound wishing for a Christmas discount. The sounds from the app are just amazing but the full version and addin are expensive. I do hope there will be Christmas sale soon.

Thanks for taking my review into consideration.. This app is far beyond what I expected. I love the free piano they gave you and I recently purchased the Ivory Mobile Grand from the Korg store. It was simply pristine and beautiful sounding. After LE. I bought two of the packs for features and synths after the app became Module. I like the ability to modify, which should be expected, and I can get what I want. I did find the strings lacking in authenticity. Strings have to have that buzz, and it seems to be missing from all the selections. Cello does not sound anything like a real cello, no buzz and very little resonance. I might be able to mess with it, but out of the box it isn’t stringlike. I can get a better string with pure waveform. EDIT tried it again, ,not sure whyI thought it was that bad, I can use it with a tweak or two on the attack and maybe I can get more resonance. Bumped up a star.

Upgrade?. I purchased the module and upgraded to Module Performance Expansion. Is this the same as Korg Module Pro? What is the difference between the two apps?

Not happy. I bought the main Korg Module app for my Ipad plus the bought the Ivory piano addon. Only to find out I have to buy it again to use it for my Iphone. That is pretty lame by Korg. Sadly as much as I loved it, I requested a refund. Not going to pay twice.

So irritating major issues Foot Pedal. I bought multiple packs just for my MAudio Pedal not to work? For example when I play the piano layer w/pad it doesn’t sustain. I need it for live gigs. Embarrassing when it happened during gig.

Dan. I really like the piano and organ sounds. Some of the horn and orchestra sounds are OK. I would like more horn and guitar sounds.

Great App. I needed a App I could play my midi keyboard and split two sounds on it because Iplay live using the left hand for bass sounds and the right hand for piano sounds. It was easy to setup the split points and sounds.

Does not connect to microKEY Air. Bought the 61 keys keyboard in the hopes to use it with this app, no matter what I try it will not connect. And this seems like a very common problem. I would not have bought the microKEY Air had I known this was going to be an issue, the keyboard is practically useless until I figure out a different use for it. Fairly disappointed in KORG on this one.

Several patches crash the app every time.. Spent money on the hybrid 2 pack, but several instruments just crash the app consistently on my iPad Pro

iPad. I have an iPad Air w os of 12.4 and have tried to download free version KORG module and it will not download, pls assist

Please update or refund. Lately this app has been making my phone (iPhone 11 13.4 iOS) heat up when I use it.. which doesn’t seem to happen with iGrand piano.. I have tried reinstalling. Revised (5/12/20) PleaSe update or refund. After multiple times of uninstalling and reinstalling, the app definitely makes my phone heat up making my phone hot to the touch on the back! No heating problems whatsoever with iGrand piano or perfect piano or garage band.

Module Performance Trial doesn’t allow trial of split/layers. I just installed the 7 day trial and I cannot test the split/layers, midi learn features or the setlist feature. The trial seemed to only install a handful of presets.

Trial doesn’t allow split layering. I was about to pull the trigger on about $100 worth of sound modules to use in module and was going to purchase the module that does split layering. Unfortunately, the demo doesn’t allow me to see if that will even work with korg module. So I’m rethinking my entire purchase. Please advise how I can demo it. Also such an ordeal to free up storage space because it seems the only way to delete a module to get it off my ipad is to delete the entire app and then reinstall app with the modules you want to keep. These are huge files and such a hassle and killer of my time to reinstall. Korg, there’s got to be a better way!?

Sound amazing. Since I bought this vst sounds, I can’t stop. They sound amazing!

Very useful for Scarbee EP-88S. Love the Scarbee EP-88S with “Dirty EP” preset for a clean Rhodes sound, great for jazz, with good velocity layers. I have the full computer version, and this is surprisingly close, although it has a lot fewer options. Although I use Neo-Soul Keys Studio for dirtier Rhodes sounds/ more variety. Worth checking out the other ones. Clavs are pretty good- auto wah I like. I think Neo Soul is a better for Clav sounds. Not a big fan of Synthogy American Concert D. Had the full version on my computer, never fully liked it either. Felt it lacked oomph in the middle and upper mid range. Couldn’t get the velocity layers to work well in this version. Honestly prefer the velocity response with internal sounds on my P125 and P255 or using Garritan CFX on my computer with CP4 as a MIDI controller. I’m guessing this is pretty light on system resources, although I just got an iPad Pro 2021 5th gen 12.9”, so it’s not having any problems running 192khz at 256 samples. Wasn’t having troubles on iPhone 12 mini before, same settings. Not sure how many AUv3’s I could run at the same time with that, didn’t fully test.

Needs work. Connected to my XB20 and when I use the sound pack from Korg (available for purchase via the module store) it doesn’t sound the same on the piano. You just know what you are playing when you listen to the recording. Extremely frustrating. Also don’t understand why you need to save the file prior to be able to listen to it and cannot listen to it on the Korg app. The yamaha app for their pianos works a lot better. Is thy the same issue with the pro version. Is there any other alternative that works better?

Great App but... Absolutely love this app and it integrates well with garage band. My only complaint is that I recently got a MacBook that I mainly use for music now and I really wish this app was available on that!!

Why must I restore purchases every time I use the app?????. I liked this app at first but it has become a source of unending frustration. The first three or four times you have to sign in to the Apple Store to restore the soundbanks you bought and paid for you might be able to deal with, but around the 20th time you do it in a single day it gets really infuriating. It’s actually kind of a breach of contract on the part of the seller. It’s like having to call the car dealer to have him put your car back in your driveway every time you want to drive it. And often it doesn’t restore your purchases for no apparent reason. I had planned to buy more packs but I’m not going to now. There are other apps that let you use what you bought without hassle. I’ll be using one of those.

serious lack of polyphony. Listen, it just doesn't work well on an iPad 4. For example, if I strike a chord while two others are still sounding (because the sustain pedal is down), the third chord causes the sustained chord to turn off. It is quite abrupt and disturbing. This is in direct comparrison to other apps like IK Multimedia's iGrand and/or Sampletank which which both sound great and run well on my iPad. I have to admit that I am really dissappointed in this showing from an otherwise great company like Korg. I removed it from my iPad because I have multiple other apps that sound so much better on my device.

Restore all?. There’s no option to download all sound banks previously purchased. You need to download each one one at a time. And you must wait until the previous one is finished downloading. This could take days if I don’t just sit watching my iPad and down use another apps. And still no support for Nanokey Studio. I’ve spent $120 on the Nanokey and $250 on random KORG apps but can’t use them except playing them on the iPad screen. I could buy a real keyboard for that price that work become obsolete six months after buying it. This is so pointless.

No 7 Day Free Trial. WONT DOWNLOAD FOR A FREE TRIAL ON MY IPAD. IT STATED IT DOWNLOADED BUT ALL I GET IS THE SAME OLD PIANO

Top of the line , Quality sound’s.. On my 88 Key Williams Allegro 2 this app is just a joy to play. Awesome.

Possible Scam. I bought a couple libraries for this app. They don’t work. I contacted Korg. They recommended I seek a refund from Apple. I contacted them in less than 24 hours. They rejected the refund! I spent $40 on an app that doesn’t work and a bunch of libraries that don’t load. Contacting State Attorney General about being scammed!

General 128 price. I believe that when I downloaded the free trial period a week ago, with one day left today, the price was $9.99. When I looked again to consider adding it to the other 27 expansions I purchased since 2020, the price seemed to have jumped to. $19.99. Did I really misread that? I suspect not, so I am just a little confused.

Lost my sounds I paid for. I’m very upset at this app. The title says it all. I updated this app and now all the sounds I had did not come back with the update. What did you do KORG. This very upsetting. Right now all can say is KORG is a rip off. I’m sure you can’t fix it either. Worst app ever don’t buy.

Not connecting to MicroKey Air. Used to work just fine, but now the app doesn’t connect to my MicroKey Air. Disappointed because I had already purchased a sound pack $. I hope this gets corrected. Also wish all the instruments’ piano keys were in tune in the Ivory pack.

Before spending $40 read this review.. I compared the sounds of the piano module with the piano sounds of two keyboards:Korg micro arranger and privia px5s. The sound of this module is very similar to the one of the micro arranger. The piano sounds in the micro arranger were sampled about 20 years ago, so it seems that Korg is reusing old samples. Another thing that I noticed is that the dynamic range of the piano in the micro arranger was larger (I was using the microarranger itself as controller for the iPad). I do not recommend this module, unless you're really in need of a piano sound in the iOS platform.

Missing. Well I purchased 3or 4 sound packs....now I can’t restore my purchases....so yea out of about 60$ with no help from KORG

Onscreen keyboards are terrible. On screen keyboards are atrocious. The single octave is too large to use and the 3 octave is too small. Kong engineers must have some weirdly sized hands.

Downloading the purchase. Hi. I bought a IvoryAmD, but it seems that I can only use it in my iPhone. I tried to downloaded on my iPad, but I can’t. I have more devices, so can you help me to know what’s going on?

Lost Purchased Ivory Mobile Grand after Korg Module update. I purchased the Ivory Mobile Grand just 2 weeks ago within my Korg Module on my IPad. I just updated the Korg Module App, now the expensive app Ivory Mobile Grand is gone! How do I get it back? You cannot tell me I need to pay for it all over again, because I will never use this app again.

Great sounds, but performance expansion module a let down. Enjoy the variety of sounds available, and like how you can choose to buy various module packs to suit. I have been experimenting with various sound module applications from a number of app suppliers with live performance in mind. Love the Korg sounds and the single instrument graphics are stunning. But for live performance I need something dynamic, versatile and easily adjustable on the run. Looking for an app provider that does not require 3rd party apps to have to route splits and layers midi channels etc, and provides a simple easy to operate analogue style operator interface using sliders and large easy access control knobs. Downloaded the performance expansion module. Yes, it can split, and yes it can layer.. but not together.. unless I am missing something. The octave adjust is difficult to operate. (Very tiny) I would love to find an app (or for Korg to develop) a true live performance keyboard module. Combination mode - layer/split, large easy access slider controls for each voice, mute/solo function buttons bigger than a fingernail etc.. basically a software version of one of the hardware synth/keyboard workstations. Easy quick access for live adjustments on the run, with a well organised settings storage banks. There is a huge opportunity in waiting. (IMHO)

Only get sound through iPhone. Can’t sign up on your support site so here this goes: I have the Korg Module app from the iOS app store and am having trouble figuring out playing sound through an external source. I have the lightnight to USB cable, which plugs into my MIDI controller. I can play on the controller and it plays through the app on my phone. The problem I’m having is I want to pipe that audio from my phone to another source, but my iPhone XS only has one port which is connecting to the controller. How is this possible? I’m aware if I had an iPad I could connect to external audio via AUX. The new iPads wont have this though, so surely there is another way? Also, bluetooth isn’t usable as the delay is very slow (even when changing it in settings). Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Does not work well with Yamaha / Steinberg products.. Sounds great as a sound generator and works well if you connect midi direct to the app. The bad If you would like to use it with Cubasis , forget it as it does not interapp at all. Also using a Bluetooth Yamaha UD-BT01 Bluetooth does not work as it keeps disconnecting. A great piece of software but not ready for stage for me yet. Play nice with your competition and I might invest more money with Korg

Pretty Great Sound Module App. Love this app - so simple and user friendly to hook up to a MIDI keyboard and have some sounds right from your phone. Wish the text under some of the knobs was bigger - can barely read it - also find some of the knobs not useful - would much rather lose some of those and have some basic ADSR knobs. Also wish there was a way to ‘favourite’ some of the sounds you use the most - can so easily get lost in sound options (especially the ones that have such subtle differences)

Surely the best sounding piano app on iOS. Though the prices seem hefty, they are extraordinarily high quality. I greatly appreciate the occasional sale to pick up Piano or Synth sounds I don’t have. I am almost always impressed! Unfortunately, the “whole package” ends up being a bit too expensive for me. If I had the cash, the complete bundle would be the ultimate iPad keyboard suite.
