Very Useful. I use it daily for nursing school.

Gives me Help with pronouncing. I just downloaded the app to help me with medical pronouncing, I am not a native English speaker. The app DOES have an audio pronounce guide. Just click on the tiny speaker beside the name. The app is supposed to have audio pronouncing of words but I can’t find that function in the app.

Nursing Medical Dictionary. I am a retired Nurse from 1974 ( graduate ) I have seen many medical dictionaries. I'm impressed with this app. I would recommend this to anyone but first for students in the medical field.

Great for nursing school. This app is a great tool to use for nursing school. Although it doesn't appear to be referenced from text book affiliated info, it's pretty much the same thing you'd get by googling meds, diseases etc. but organized into one place. And be honest we all do it. Read your text books! Use this on the fly.

Great app. Easy to use and very informative

Disappointed. They need to update it with all the medical terms that we need. I tried searching a couple of words one of them was ominous and it wasn’t listed. SMH

App rating for Nursing Dictionary. This is the best dictionary I have used so far. It not only has body systems but also has medication and their details. It also explains everything deeply and thoroughly.

Not that that great. I tried looking up 2 symptoms & it wasn’t found, 3rd time was uremic syndrome; word not found. Don’t call yourself a nursing dictionary please

Quick and accurate. I love my textbook but often spend time condensing a lot of information into flash cards. This app is fast, has a lot of the same information, and very easy to use.

10 years out of date. There are at least 3 major issues with this app. 1) It is incomplete, missing many medical terms. Google is a better app! 2) It is unnecessarily difficult to use. For example, if one searches “wound care”, instead of being directed to a definition of wound care, one is taken to a list of every type of care. Then one has to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the very bottom of a very long list of types of care. 3) It is woefully out of date. I came across one entry (fibromyalgia) that hadn’t been updated since 2009. This was immediately evident because the diagnostic criteria for this syndrome changed in 2010. Thus anyone using the app will be misinformed

Love the explanations!. It's impossible to remember exactly what each test result means, so I love the easy to understand explanations here.

Bought ad-free version. Still receiving ads.. Downloaded this app awhile back and bought the ad-free version since it was useful for Clerkships. Not sure whether it’s worth it to be charged a second time and (who knows?) maybe a third later on.

I must have the wrong app.... I’ve been an RN/NP for 28 yrs. Based on the reviews of this app I downloaded it. I am so disappointed that I can’t get any information or definition on anything unless it is “1st year student basic.” I can get more info from WebMD. I see now there’s an update for purchase, but as bad as the free app was, I’m not buying.

Great quick go to app. It is easy to access.. gives you a lot of definition when there are multiple sources. Also, some has pictures included on the definition which helps a lot. Saves me time by looking in the app instead of the thick medical dictionary book i have.

Great App for Nursing Students🙌🏾🏥📚. The app is great for both nursing students and as a refresher for RNs. It's easy to navigate and is straight to the point! I love that it gives more than one definition and how well explained the terms are!

Medication Pronounciation. Great for people who work in a pharmacy and might need a refresher on how to pronounce some prescriptions ☺️☺️ --From the cashier, who has no pharmacology knowledge 😜

Daily nursing tool. This is an app that I use daily as I've studied in RN classes. I'm using it today while studying for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Do you know what Hirschprung's disease is? Neither did I. This app is multiple medical dictionaries in one. Some definitions are brief & others very detailed. The only downside is that it saves words that I've looked up - handy sometimes for review. But it takes data memory. I just deleted and reloaded it today which got rid of 15 MB of space (1 year of use). Problem solved. Not much maybe, but I have a lot of my nursing apps on my iPhone & need every bit of space. RN45ure!

Great so far. Seems awesome so far. I say so far because I could only look up two words before it started harassing me to leave a review. And of course if you don't it will just keep harassing you until you do. When the app gets an update it will start harassing you again to leave another review.
