Needs improvement. I refuse to give this game a higher rating until they give the option to remove appliances from the floor. My bakery is completely saturated with useless appliances that I don't want or use. It's ridiculous. Plus that stupid macaron painting that does not come off! Then, the pantry is a joke. You have extremely limited space and the items needed to expand/upgrade/etc all go in there... Why?? They're not food. I'm constantly throwing those envelopes away. And on top of that, those items are really hard to get, so by the time you do get any, months have passed and the extras have just been sitting uselessly in your pantry. Next, the events are WAY too hard. Unless you're playing 24/7 Or have hundreds of diamonds to throw away they are impossible. Lastly, every little thing requires gems. New items come out and it's like, hey what do you know? We all require gems. And its near impossible to get gems without buying them (for a hefty price). Bakery story original is so much better. It's prettier, it's easier to play, decor options are better and so is gameplay.

Needs update Badly. This was such a fun game but it’s too hard to play now. Between the regular baked goods, there’s the challenge to get the keys. Whatever that is is too much. Plus the keys don’t truly unlock anything because you need so many of them. The game had us buy all these extra appliances, but you can’t put them in storage. The whole bakery is literally all appliances. You don’t have room for tables. I would play this game A LOT if you could get rid of the weird key/bake daily challenge and allowed us to storage all the extra appliances and those other appliances from challenges in the past. They’re done with, yet we have to keep them out. Can’t design a good bakery with no space because of the extras. PLEASE update the game. It used to be so much fun.

ehhhhh. so there’s several things that are better than the first one you came out with (e.g. food not spoiling) but there’s several things that must be fixed - thank you notes. if you’re going to require them for EVERYTHING i try to do, you need to increase the frequency at which liam gives them out because so far he hasn’t given me a single one for the past 10 or so visits. - storage. this costs so much in money and items to expand storage by just 10 and to pay for the items is ridiculous. they need to appear more often rather than giving money as rewards - expansions. not worth the price of the items and money. you expand enough for one row in a single direction??? it’s not enough and this leads into my next point - i can’t put appliances into storage or sell them????? like seriously. without being able to expand very often/in large amounts i am out of space and i can’t even get rid of the appliances i don’t want this need to be fixed and ASAP. (ps give more time for the bakers club. some of us have lives and such)

Very annoying. I downloaded this game because I love the original bakery story. I currently downloaded it again because I've been feeling nostalgic lately. When I downloaded it I seen it had a second one and the screenshoots made it look cool so I decided to try it. Well I'm 10 mins in the game and I can stand it. It's very annoying I know lost games give you a small tutorial on how to do task and give you reward for completing them then you just play the game as you go but literally for 5 mins it was task after task and you can't just do the task when you feel like it with the original bakery story you have to complete right when it pops us. You also have to buy ingredients for the food you make and so far it looks like only 2-3 of each items is obtainable then you have to wait for it to restock. The graphics are cute and look like it could be fun but I'll stick to the original game and play as I please.

Really like this game, HOWEVER.... I like this version & I think it's pretty cute! Stuff is pretty expensive but that's life. My biggest problem (what's stopping me from rating 5⭐️ is: I quit playing for a while & came back (I rotate my fav games) & it said this version was out of date. (I had 2 versions installed). I played a couple more days, no problems. Then, all of a sudden, I went to play & it took me to the beginning! I tried putting my storm ID/password in, nothing! I uninstalled both, went to re-install & one of the versions disappeared completely & the other keeps bringing me to the beginning! The only thing I can assume is its a bug. Please fix this! I have an iPad.

Not a good update. Over all it is such a fun concept. I love the to-go orders and the basic challenges. I am not a fan of the event challenged because I don't want that stuff taking up my pantry storage, which is already so limited since building items are included in it. I also don't want to have to buy more appliances just for the event and take up space which is also so limited, since it takes forever to earn the supplies needed to expand the shop. That part is pretty annoying. Another big turn off is the fact that coins are pretty much useless in the game. I have tons of coins and hardly anything to spend them on. The game wants you to buy most tables, paint, floors, ect with gems which cost real $. I'd rather just pay for a game once then deal with that. Other than that, it is a fun game. I wish they did have a one-time paid version of the game and fixed the issues, I'd be totally hooked!

Frustrating and very expensive. BAD game. Don't get it! I used to like this game. It has had many issues that no longer make it fun. It takes way too many gems to do anything and when I finally decided to spend my hard earned money on them it won't download them to the game. I contacted them and was given the way to fix the issue but that has never worked. Then when I looked at my apple account it had double charged me for it. It has had several glitches in the function of the game where I was not able to play for several days because it would not open when I tried. It seems that they are more interested in making money dishonestly than actually fixing the bugs and issues of the game.

UGH. i hate it how when you buy ovens you can't put them in storage! it's so annoying because when you have a small bakery you can't fit it all in without things piling on to other things and it's just a huge mess! plus it's so hard to get blueprints to expand space! because i can't take away the tables to fit everything in because i'll loose money and customers! also, i bought this coffee cart thing for decor, that you don't even use anyways because it's just decoration, and it won't let me store it! it's always in the way of tables and just makes my bakery look crammed because i always have to bunch stuff together. my point is, please fix this to where we can store almost everything like the springtime oven that only makes one cheep thing, or the coffe cart for more space, just everything basically because it gets wayyy too crammed. thanks for reading my long suggestion i hope you fix this.

Please revise the Secret Baker’s Club. I work so hard to complete the Secret Baker’s Club so that I can earn a bronze key. Bronze is really the only color that matters, because you need them to get the special ingredients needed to bake certain items. Only I can’t seem to get a bronze key. I have 27 Silver keys, and nothing to spend them on. What is the purpose of Silver keys? Maybe you could make it possible to trade in a certain number of Silver to get bronze or gold. Either that, or just get rid of Silver keys, unless you plan to make them useful. Eighteen hours of working on Bakers Club items, only to be disappointed with my “prize”. It’s really frustrating. Please take the time to make some much needed changes. Thank you

I'm so upset. I usually don't write reviews I just rate with the stars but I am very upset. I have first started playing this game along with the other story games over a year ago where I sent over one hundred dollars in gems on my husband's phone because I didn't have iPhone or an iPad and it was great, I stuck with it through all the changes and updates. Two weeks ago I got an iPhone and I immediately downloaded this game along with other story games. I convinced my husband to buy me gems and everything for a discounted $1.99. Two days ago the game reset and I lost my entire one hundred gems and all my progress I am very upset at my lost of hard work and dedication and my gems. Please fix this and give me back my gems and progress or compensate me for my lost. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Have a great day. P.S. I'm running stores from two devices lol...

Glitch, can't continue. I’ve played this game before on iPhone a long time ago and wanted to play it again when I got an iPad, but when I get to the point where I unlock a new building and need to buy chocolate from jacks dry goods, I can’t go further. I click on the new building and it’s labeled as Michelles luxury goods, even though the building looks like the Jacks dry goods store, and the only items available are locked at levels 39 and 40. I’d love to continue, but it won’t let me go past this task. Please fix it!

The fruit stand?. I’m not sure if I’m the only one having this problem but I just unlocked the fruit stand and now I have tasks for it. The problem is the fruit stand doesn’t really seem to work..?? It’ll tell me to go get strawberries or lemons and when I click “go” so it can take me to the fruit stand, when I click it, the only stored that pop up are the luxury store and the general store. When I flip through the store options, the fruit stand isn’t there! I will never be able to finish the tasks I have for the fruit stand if it isn’t there. Please fix this :(

Started Out Great. Started out great and then went downhill from there. I was hoping this would be like the first Bakery Story only with better graphics. I was wrong. Yes, it has better graphics but not better game play. Which is saying something because Bakery Story is not the best either but far better than 2. There are no pop up ads as in Bakery Story 1 which is wonderful. But you also cannot get gems by watching ads. The only way you can get them here is by cold hard cash. I get that. A game needs to make money some how. But let us watch ads too. Because you can’t get gems the game expansion progresses really slowly. I’ve been playing a couple of weeks and my little cafe is so crowded because I can’t get the items I need. Other items are just sitting there because I can’t get the items I need to progress on those tasks. The tasks are so convoluted. So much going on at once. I would have to play the game 24 hours a day to get all that needs to be done. In Bakery Story 1 you have a couple of tasks to do and then when those are done you can take a break for a bit until the next task comes up. I was so hoping this was going to be better. Just not happy with this. I’m going to delete it and just go back to playing 1.

The game overall. The game has not been updated for an entire 2 years. Does creature even update any of their games. I used to be so in love with this game. This game needs MAJOR UPDATES, New majors features and goals. It takes too long to cook certain things as well as it takes to log to gain the pieces to be able to expand the bakery. I think we should be able to travel to different places and towns we should be able to interact with those who also have the game that still play it. It has not been updated for more than a year as stated before and I’m looking for something new an exciting because I do often enjoy playing the game. The game is one of my favorite games but I tend to get bored now because there are no updates and there isn’t anything new going on. Does the creator even work on this game or what is going on. I’m pretty sure I am not the only one that is ready for something new. Do the ratings get viewed. I really like that game I’m ready for an update some new things and events to happen within the game. Even when the holidays come there should be an event to play something fun. People who play this game should be able to do more in the game. It just simply needs major updates and new feature and new things added. It’s almost like the creatures of the game just left the game alone. Please do some updates and add new things to the game so that I can continue to enjoy the game and play the game the way I used to.

Fun With A Little Promblems. The game has a glitch where every time I change the flooring and exit out of the game, the flooring is all messed up and out of order. It is also very annoying when you want to remove an item out of your inventory because it is full but you cannot remove the amount you want it deletes the whole thing. The first time I had this game it was very nice and fun and I would rate it 5 stars if not for the gems. We are given a minimum amount of gems and they are the ones that are used the most in the games I feel there should be more ways we can get gems without using our own money. But overall, this is a wonderful game but needs improvements. Finally, my whole game deleted and took me all the way back to level 1 when I was at level 18

Great game. Pantry could be improved.. I really enjoy playing this game. Super cute graphics and food items. The recipes and the catering challenges are great. But the Pantry needs major improvement! Challenge items and building materials take up too much valuable space. Those items should not count against your ingredient capacity nor should you have to get rid of all of them to make space since they are necessary to expand your shops. Also it would make a whole lot more sense to have the ability to choose the number of items you wish to delete from your pantry. Looking forward to those improvements in the near future.

Improvements but decent cute game. I'm not surprised the game needs improvements since this app was released May 2, 2016 but I do believe you need to change the amount of inventory of the ingredients I understand what the creators are trying to do; they're trying to earn money as well give you a challenge but I'm disappointed the fact the creators of bakery story haven't add the ability to add "neighbors" other than adding people from your Facebook. I personally know it's annoying sending "game requests" to your friends on Facebook so I thought you would able to have another option where you can add random people who ACTUALLY have bakery story if you want to speed up the time for your food being made but I understand what the creators are trying to do with the buying ingredients ect trying to make the app into a REAL bakery story. I'm only at level 9 and so far those are really my main complaints

Suggestion.... Hello, I really enjoy Bakery Story 2. I've played all the Story games for a long while now. Although, I did delete them and stopped playing for a while. When I came back, I started with a pre-made bakery. I soon realized, it was my old bakery before I left the game. I am unable to enjoy the game now. This is because I don't want to start off at a point where I don't know what I am doing. I have no clue where I am at in the game and it's really frustrating. Overall, I would really appreciate it if the developers of Bakery Story 2 were able to create a restart option in the settings. From what I hear, a lot of people have had this issue since Bakery Story 1. Please fix this, it would mean so much to me. Thank you for reading my review! Have a nice day.

Goes downhill as you progress. This was an all time favorite of mine when I first started playing, but I’m at level 30 now and it has really lost its luster. At this point keys, coins, and thank you notes just take way too long to save up. Playing all day, every day, for a month just to unlock one new thing is too much. I have a life and this game just feels redundant now. Also there’s a glitch that makes the bakers club say I have more time left than I really do which is frustrating. There’s also a glitch that makes the clock legitimately start over though, which has been the only way I’ve been able to get keys sometimes. So...that’s something.

Great game! But........ I've been playing for a couple of years. This game is fun to play. Love the graphics. But....why is everything so expensive? 3,000,000 coins just to learn one recipe? And, now I've got 3 recipes that are new that need to be learned all at once. It takes me a couple of months to earn enough money for just one recipe and I'm retired and can play several times a day. Even when all my counters are full, when I get on in the morning, the most I've made is 50,000. That's a lot of mornings to make 3,000,000. I can't even expand because that's even more coins. It's becoming more work than it is fun. Yes, I'm whining, but can't you lower the cost?

Angry and broke. So I was absolutely obsessed when I first downloaded the game, but as I continue playing it started to tick me off. After I'd come home after work and opened the game, it would tell me how much I made while I was away. However, it NEVER added to my previous amount. It either took the amount I made while away and subtracted it from the previous amount or it just never added. Example 1: I had around 10,000 coins before I left for work and when I opened the game after a few hours, it told me I earned 7,000 coins while I was away. Instead seeing it add, I saw it subtract and it left me with a little more than 2,000 coins. Example 2: I had 810 coins before closing the game and when I opened it after a day, it told me I earned 13,000 coins. I was so excited, until I realized that I still only had 810 coins. If I could rate only one star, I would.

Pls fix. Love this game but it makes me accidentally waste one gem on a gram of sugar since the green button that says "go get ingredients " is right next to "use one gem" purple button. I accidentally click the purple button instead of the green and it takes away my gem that I worked so hard to earn. Its really frustrating because 1 gram of sugar is not worth 1 gem and it is literally the easiest and cheapest thing to buy. I wish after I accidentally wasted the gem it would say "are you sure?" But no, not even immediately pressing airplane mode stops the wasted transaction. I lost 7 gems this way for the sugar ingredient. It is almost as if the game wants you to lose your gems accidentally. Also can I disable using gems in the setting? I want to be able to earn gems through the pink orders but to have a little safe guard against losing my gems. Also i really love this game and i love the opportunities to get new ovens to add to my collections.

A Game of Patience. I downloaded an old favorite that i have not played in years. And I have been playing a couple of days. I am patient but my patience will wear soon. here is one example: I have 4 recipes that need 2 or 3 frostings. To make frosting I have to wait 20 minutes to get 3 milks. The recipe is 2 milk and 4 sugar. Then it takes 10 minutes to make frosting. I also have recipes that need milk. I can only spend diamonds and there appears to be no way to earn diamonds and I can not watch an ad. I spend money on games sometimes but to buy diamonds to get milk is crazy. So, I give it a few more days and I will ,lose interest and delete. However, I do like the feel of the updated game but I don’t have the patience this game requires and based on what I have seen so far… nothing about it will make me buy diamonds. If I have to buy diamonds to get ingredients…I consider it a waste of money. Good luck!!!!

Needs improvements!!. I absolutely love this game! The graphics are adorable & the concept is so much fun. I do have a few complaints, however. 1. I would love to have neighbors! I see that it's supposed to be "coming soon" but it's said that forever now. 2. I hate all of the events! There is always some sort of event. Once one ends, another one immediately starts. I wish I could opt out of it. The ingredients take up too much space in my inventory and it distracts me from working on the goals that advance my level and shop. 3. I wish I could store or sell appliances! They clutter up my bakery & I hate it. 4. I hate how you can hardly buy anything with coins. I'm not gonna spend real money to get gems but it seems like everything has to be purchased with them. I'm always accidentally using gems when I don't intend to. Overall, I love the game but it could use some improvements!

Bugs Galore. This game is insanely fun, however there are so many glitches and bugs, perhaps even insane coding problems, that it takes away from us enjoying it. For example, sometimes you can purchase items from the different markets that you shouldn’t be able to purchase because of your level, the carpenter sometimes does not even drop the “happy letter” (i.e. he drops coins or market items), and the screen sometimes freezes on one spot and does let me scroll at all (I can only access the options, appliances, etc that are on the frozen screen). It is heavily annoying to deal with all of these issues/bugs and it would be amazing if you guys would fix it before you add more stuff. Thank you, and I have very high hopes for the future of the game!

So many problems!. Oh my goodness there are so many issues with this game. Every time I open a new building I have to delete the game and reinstall just so it shows up for me to shop. Noted from Liam, which are impossible for me to get, disappear. The screen locks and I can't go anywhere or do anything so I have to close out. Replenishing stock takes FOREVER! It feels like I'm stuck most of the time with nothing to do because I have to wait so long. It looks like it may become difficult to play because a lot of items cost gems. Big shock there! I really like the game but PLEASE fix the bugs/issues. I'm about to stop playing because it's all just so annoying. If the issues were fixed, I would give this game 5 stars, but I'm just a few days in and I'm already frustrated because in reading the other reviews, a lot of the same problems have been happening for months on end.

Customer service is poor - No updates. Like someone else said, this app has been abandoned. I contacted customer service and got a generic auto reply “we do not give advice on how to play the game or offer hints”. The reason I know this is because I got the same response, immediately both times, from Restaurant Story 2. My inquiry was asking for an update! I do enjoy the game and have put a lot of time into it but it seems like I am dead in the water now that there is really nothing else to do, ie no more challenges, the orders are the exact same, no gifts are given to expand the game & I have 7 silver keys that I can do nothing with.

The higher level you go the less interesting it is. First thing I do not like is the Delivery option, one delivery contains three desserts--some are low priced (like cookies) but some are highly valuable items which The bakery could make more coins if they just sell it on the counter. Because every delivery you make, regardless the actual value of the combined items, the reward is only 500 coins. And it would take me the same amount of time to make them, then profit way less coins?! I don't think so! I want to stop making deliveries but some items are pre-designated to that prior finishing :/ Secondly, I wish some of the useless ovens could be deleted, for example, the bread oven. It bakes for 24 hours and I'm not even sure how much coins a bread can generate. It takes up too much space which I would like to save for more tables and chairs. Ugh. Everything takes so long to reload, or you'd have to use coins that you'd need to buy with real money. It just ruins the experience for me overall.

Glitching with the new iOS.. I love this game. Play it everyday. I love the graphics. They are much better than the publishers other games but it’s resetting every 15 seconds or so with the new iOS 11. It’s aggravating. It resets like I just opened the game for the day. (Food gone, customers gone, etc) Also, I’d like to be able to put appliances in storage like I can with tables chairs and decorations. I have a bread oven that only makes bread. I don’t need it taking up space in my kitchen. Overall it’s a great game but it needs updating more than once a year.

The worst game ever!!!. This game is one of the glitchiest games on iPhone and I’m shocked that Apple allows it. I made a purchase and never received my items! Customer service was HORRIBLE - they lied & deleted some of the emails I sent them so that they could say I never contacted them. It was only $5 that they stole from me. I’d went ahead and purchased a pack from them for $40 AFTER they robbed me just knowing they wouldn’t have the stupidity to lose someone who spends money in their age-old app. Storm8 doesn’t appreciate their users. They emailed me saying that I’d already received the $5 items and just didn’t know it. After I showed them that I didn’t have it, they screenshot my previous purchase and said that it was proof that I’d received the $5 items. 🙃😫 The customer support is RETARDED. I worked with someone named Aiden. He was HORRIBLE!!! And so is Storm8. I immediately deleted ALL STORM8 apps!!!

Very slow progress & goal completion. This game requires item that is randomly given by the game itself for everything: expansion, capacity, ingredients, goals, recipe, etc. EVERYTHING is dependent on items that is randomly given to u. They don’t come sometimes til after 8 days of consecutive play. Goals & recipe will pile up for u to do that u can’t because u only get a random item once a day and then to finish one part it’ll take 24 hours. One item randomly given that is needed on almost everything from goals, recipe to expansion. Furniture building is impossible and it’ll fill your goal list cuz it takes 24 for each furniture to do and in one goal you have to make 4 furnitures that require an item that u can only get if u finish another goal. It’s ridiculous. Even after u buy gems thinking it’ll help u- it doesn’t .....don’t bother with this BS2 ....find another bakery game ...I downloaded this both on iPhone and iPad. The drops are ridiculously slow in iphone ...coins is what ull get most times ...again...find another game...

Changed. I agree with many people. When this game was first released (the second version) it was amazing. It would give you many more opportunities to get to certain levels. Now, it’s really difficult to even be able to have enough space or storage for your fruits and dairy produce. I know I sound like a maniac but this game was one of my go to’s for those who know what that entails. Anyways, I would hope they give more opportunities to work not as hard and have more capability to achieve storage room to expand your products. It would take me forever to expand now and I just don’t want to play the game anymore.

Good game, but... I like the game, its great to play when you're bored because it gives you something to do but there is way too many glitches and issues with the game. Anytime I'm given an event I have to buy something I never use or I don't have the money to buy it because they set the prices too high. Like expanding the bakery is nearly impossible. My main issue is that I currently have 4900 or higher in coins on the game and to get the coffee maker you need 3000 but when I try to buy it says I need more coins. Literally minutes after I posted this, I went back on the app and I had exactly 5026 in coins so I tried purchasing the coffee maker again, and it worked, but instead of taking 3000 it took 5000 so now I only have 26 coins left😑 now I'm just considering deleting...

Wrong store created. I just started playing this game tonight and it tells me I need to open the store that provides the bakery with fruit and all is fine until the store is created and it shows up as a different story that provides products for 25+ levels ahead in the game. The graphic in the street level looks right but it's wrong when you click on the building to get access to its products. I even tried deleting and starting the game over but the same thing happened. Can't progress in the game if I can't meet produce the bakery items to meet the goals.

Enjoyed until lately. Our family has played this game for a long time. It’s been kind of fun to share the ‘job’ making stuff and meeting delivery challenges. My biggest frustration though is the blue mailbox deliveries. It seems more than naught, we get a silver key as a reward. Guess what I can do with a silver key? Nothing. We’ve purchased all that you can. Even the gold keys - nothing to do with them. I need bronze keys to make gourmet stuff to accumulate money faster, but hardly get them. We are so slow making money it takes forever to get new things which are so expensive. This game has become more time-consuming than the reward is worth. Time for an update or time for us to play other games.

Oldie but a goodie. I played this game years ago and used to love it. Even after years going by and coming back to it, i STILL love it. However it is VERY disappointing to see that the developers have completely abandoned the game. The last update was 6 years ago, and nothing works correctly anymore. There are lots of bugs with unlocking new things in the game, not to mention it lags to the point of almost not being able to play it at all. This game could easily be my favorite on iphone, if they would just come back and update the issues. Hopefully someone will come to the rescue soon. RIP Bakery Story 2. 😔

This is ok, prefer the first one.. I am not sure I will keep playing. This is version is too complicated! So many tasks, too little room! When you expand you got to wait a long time for it to build, and collect things before you do! And the pantry? Stupid! Every time I want to make something I have to go to the store or fruit stand to get the supplies. Every two seconds! In the first version, it is much simpler. If you want to build a special oven, or treat maker, drink brewer, you ask your friends for the parts. Baking is much easier! Designing and expanding, and it's there! No waiting or gathering parts! love the option of sending gifts and leaving tips. There isn't an option of adding Anyone except Facebook friends and you can have more friends in the first version. Again bakery story 2 is too complicated! Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Bug Issue?. Love the game no issues with that, but there seems to be a bug. I can’t open this game when connecting to any public wifi that has a landing page to connect to the internet. I.E., in a cafe where you click on wifi in settings and a landing page pops up with a button to connect to the free WiFi. I can open other games, my browsers and other apps, but this game is the only app I have that acts like I’m not connected to WiFi. It works on my home WiFi just fine, only on public WiFi does the game say “This is an online game and requires internet access. Please double check your connection and try again.” It happens for any public café WiFi that I’ve tried in the last few days since I’ve downloaded the game, it just won’t recognize the public WiFi for some reason.

Suggesting stufff. This game is super fun and addicting but I think you should be able to give stuff to your friends like if you need a Thank you note from Liam your friends could give it to you, or if your friend needs a Lemon and the store is restocking you could give your friend a lemon, or like dimonds, or money, another suggestion is you should be able to share a bakery with someone I think that would be so fun! I’m busy a lot so I don’t have time to check my bakery every like 30 minutes so if my friend owned a bakery with me they could check it for us, I think this would make this game 100% better, please take these suggestions into consider.

Make Events Optional!. When this game was first released, I couldn't get enough of it. It was so much better than the original Bakery Story... with the understanding that certain features weren't available yet because it had *just* released. Yet it seems that, instead of working on improvements and implementing features that people have been asking for, there just seems to be a new event almost immediately after the previous one ended. These event-exclusive recipes are filling my to-go orders and secret baker's club requests and I'm not progressing very far because these events take away from my time to work on the normal quests! I've taken to just waiting for events to end, playing as quickly as I can before the next one starts, and then quitting again when the next event starts. tl;dr: Stop making a new event every time the old one ends and work on actually fixing some bugs and implementing the features your players are *actually* asking for. Edit: Well, here I am again, because the Mother's Day event just ended and, oh look, there's another event! This needs to stop! If you want to hold event after event, then let me choose to opt out! Let me decide whether I want to participate or not, so that I don't have to worry about ingredients I don't want filling my pantry. I'm taking away a star because this is just ridiculous! 0/10 would not reccommend!

It's cute, but not really a keeper. I love the look of the game. The graphics are beautiful and the characters interaction is adorable, but like most players I'm not happy about the events taking up space in my pantry. I'm also annoyed with how I've accidentally used gems on more than one occasion. Asking if you're sure you want to spend 7 gems to replenish something when there's only 1 second left seems like something every player of the game might appreciate, especially when the gems cost SO MUCH and are near impossible to earn. The option to watch ads could help. Finally, I also don't like the the tasks that require you to use gems to make purchases for the reason stated above. I don't want beach themed or any other type walls and floor so I shouldn't have to pay gems to change them. This may be one of those games I play for about a week and delete. It is pretty though.

Starting over and NOT HAPPY. I started playing early Dec 2016, in Feb 2017 my phone screen started to malfunction and I had to file with my insurance and get a new device. Unbeknownst to me this app didn't save any of my progress even with being "signed in" to Facebook. I think it's used more for advertising than to actually help you play the game but anyways. I contacted App support, submitted a claim with Storm8, filled out a form and submitted pictures and all but they still couldn't find my account. The only proof I had was that Game Center saved all my achievements, I never purchased gems so I only had a record of me downloading the app on my iTunes account. So if anyone is having phone issues the best this for you to do is screenshot everything of you Bakery and keep records. So if you do have to get a new phone hopefully they can help you restore your bakery. I had reached level 17 getting close to 18 after playing several holiday event and obtaining items from there. Now after deciding to start all over I'm level 12.

GONE!!. I worked this to level 36, suddenly on an iPhone 7+ it starts flashing and doing weird stuff. Go to play it and my game is gone! Like I never played the game. Which is really strange since every time I did play it said welcome vanessak45 so it knows who I am by way of Game Center. I am NOT starting over. Takes forever to get where I was and every time I had an opportunity to earn gems it always flashed and never gave them to me!! Full of bugs and glitches horrible advancement options. Storm 8 needs to figure out their issues with losing people's games!! I've read reviews where people got new phones and their game was back to square one also. Take a lesson from Hay Day they confirm who you are on a new device not take you back to the beginning to start over!!

Don’t Get. I got this game because I thought huh I want a game to play while the rest of my family plays theirs. It was fun at first then it started to become downright frustrating. I tried contacting support whom said they can’t do anything to fix it. What?? There is a link to see other bakeries but that isn’t working or up yet. I can’t see who else is playing this same game on Facebook and I am not about to send game requests to friends whom I don’t know are playing...it is annoying. This morning I had to make some lime juice for my Kiwi bars. I kept making them and used up all of my fruit. Guess what...after making all of these and using all of my supplies...NO JUICE to make my bars...WTH! There are times that I grab all of the milk so that it will remake some while I make things in order to be productive. Well if I grab 3 but only use 2, the 3rd one just disappears! I have also been waiting to expand. I need 2 blueprints but do you think I would get one after 3 weeks of playing..nope. You have to come please these tasks...two of mine in my deliveries to go is a strawberry cupcake. I keep trying to get these...no luck. This game is messed up. I wouldn’t bother. I am deleting this game and gaining hours back in my life. Such a waste of time.

Updates needed. I have been playing this game for a couple years now, I like to play in my downtime at home, but there’s a few things that need some work. Like, what’s up with the silver keys? There’s absolutely no use for them, they just collect and I can’t even cash them in for a different key. Also, it costs way too many coins to learn new recipes, how can anyone progress in this game?! Lastly, since I got a new phone it has been running extremely slow. I would have given this game 5 stars, but I couldn’t because these things are super annoying.

Love it, but slow. This is a very addictive fun game! Gave it 3 stars because I like playing but the game is slow, where it takes weeks to expand one bit of the restaurant or storage because the items needed are only provided randomly and its been weeks since completing the list. There are ways to earn items, but even then the item given is always different. I play for a few hours every day, after level 15 the restaurant feels small and claustrophobic. Appliances are piled next to each other. Also there are some glitches like the little people sometimes shoot out of the restaurant for no reason and certain restricted recipes are displayed at random times when they aren't suppose to. Would love to keep playing but the lack of expanding prevents task completion and progress.

Please Improve!. I love playing this game but there are some major improvements that needs to be made hence my 3 stars review. For one, please please please let us be able to store the appliances or items in our bakery that we do not use. That has the be the most frustrating issue ever. For example: I don’t use the bread oven at all, and it is taking up needed space in my bakery. Second, please please please give us the option to add friends with our Storm ID, instead of using Facebook. I dislike having to use my Facebook and to top it off only 1 of my friends from Facebook actually plays the game, so that option isn’t really helpful especially when we’re trying to obtain quickserves. I hope these improvements can be made! Thank you!

Gameplay is good however it's extremely buggy. The game itself is quite nice. The characters are cute, the graphics look good, and it isn't pay-to-win. It's much better than the first Bakery Story in my opinion. However, this game is extremely buggy. While playing, I was met with extreme lag randomly, forcing me to close and reopen the game every 5 minutes or so. This lag may have been caused by my phone but I highly doubt it (I own an iPhone 6s+). When I would go to the market areas, sometimes things like raspberries (which I haven't unlocked) would not have the lock symbol on it and it would have the option for me to buy it. However even if I clicked on it it didn't do anything. It was a minor annoyance and at first gave me some false hope (lol). Also, when I unlocked the fruit stand, every time I tapped on it I would be brought back to a future stand I haven't unlocked yet, forcing me to close and reopen the game. There were vast amounts of other bugs I faced as well. Overall, good game but horrible bugs and glitches that can sometimes render it unplayable. Would I recommend this game? Yes, but only if you have the patience to deal with the bugs and glitches in this game. Otherwise, you might want to wait for this game to fix the bugs. A message to Storm8, please work on fixing the bugs! I quite like this game and I hate seeing it infested with these dang bugs.

a joke. this game is unbelievably frustrating. i have only had it for a short amount of time but i can't stand it because it really doesn't make sense. i love playing it but there's a few bugs and things that don't make sense. no one fixes anything that's wrong with the game so i can't deal with it anymore. i was playing just now, baking something and when i went back into the app a couple appliances i've had for a LONG time all show as though they're JUST being build/installed into my bakery?? i've had them forever i don't know why that's happening? so i tried exiting out, restarting my phone, and deleting the app but now all my progress is lost and i can't fix it so i'm done with this game i do not recommend it at all!! it seems fun but it's actually very frustrating.

Three and a half stars. This is good game, definitely successful. Clear tutorial. Good graphics. Easy gameplay. But there is a few problems I face, Almost everything in the game costs diamonds, which is frustrating, truly. I am not even sue anyone can play and get to a higher lever than 20 without pure determination, time,( and probably an in app purchase ) My own game experience: I played for a while, and really liked it... Until i got to level 17, then the game was just difficult and pointless. But at the time I was still determined to continue on and still play the game. When I exited the game and came back two days later I was at level 9. My bakery was decorated differently and I barely had learned any recipies. Only 2 of my buildings were unlocked (general store, fruit stand) AND I had lost 15 thousand something of my coins. 😕 I do still play the game even after that, I’m still at level 9, but I don’t like it as much as I used to. I am NOT saying this is a bad game, its good, really, but It’s got quite a number of bugs. I would love it if They were fixed!

Needs improvement. Just like other games that I play, I believe it’s only fair that the game undergo balancing. Currently, my bakery is full of cooking appliances and I can’t expand it fast enough. I need to use gems to advance. But, it is so unfair. I do hope you can make some improvements.

Addictive but frustrating. I really enjoyed this game but I agree with the others I have as much equipment as I do tables. Need option to store as needed. Also the level locks are OTT. Having to bout furniture that takes 24 hours each piece needed 12 to unlock a level etc etc is "ridiculous." If it doesn't unlock soon will be deleting as it is getting repetitive and frustrating. I also have no gems because the way you have set up the buttons so close together. Hate this also.

:/. There is an issue for me where I've already bought the fruit store but it doesn't seem to come up when I click on it, only the general store and the luxury store comes up. I've read some reviews that have had the same issues that I've been having so please fix it!!

Great game until.... This game was one of my favourites to play, until it randomly closed and somehow erased all of my progress and sent me back to level one. Wish I could rate the game better but I just can't.

Gets to boring and frustrating. Loved the game initially but if you can't use real money to buy gems it gets very boring....haven't been able to expand in 2 months or being able to complete challenges to get all cupcakes. It takes weeks to do anything. At the point of deleting as this game seems to be designed more for people that can spend large amounts of money of ITunes card and not everyone can. Very disappointed in the game now and wouldn't recommend it to be honest.

Fun but .... This is a fun game however it is very difficult to expand. As there is so much going on and u need to buy more equipment, u run out of room very fast. Then when u expand, it only opens up one side of bakery. Very frustrating.

Unbalanced Pay to Play. I’m a fan of this game - beautiful graphics, good quest system, and interest story elements - however, the “Random” allotment of building parts stunts the gameplay, prevents level advancement, makes for frustrating resource management, and leaves little to no freedom in designing the internal space, because it’s got to be full of cooking equipment you can store. The game feels like a thinly veiled attempt to use player frustration to drive micro transaction sales. Please adjust the game balance so that players can use valid in game strategy to progress through the game - instead of giving the ultimatum of Pay or Leave - because I will (disappointingly) go...

New fairy challenge has issues. Love the game, but this new fairy challenge is not working. I've purchased the magic wand decoration about 15 times now but each time the game resets within 10 seconds and it's gone. That's fine as long as I won't need the recipes for the Bakers Club

The Best. It was good but with the continuous crashing, uncontrollable items, the "use gems" button so close to other buttons or where after you complete a cooking quest it closes and when you reopen the game you loose all you have done, I have deleted this and will not consider it again. COMPLETE FAIL!

Fix issue. Used to play this game about 5 years ago and I was obsessed. Started playing it again a few weeks ago and I remember why I stopped. Please fix the smoothie machine - the juice reward is not received about 80% of the time. I’m only making smoothies for the juice. It’s quite frustrating when you’re trying to complete tasks, but wasting ingredients on smoothies that don’t even give the juice reward. Cheers

Best Game Ever?. So, I’ve been playing this game for a long time, and what I dislike is how expensive some furnitures can be. Like, 30 gems? But this game is addicting to me, and I like the graphics! (Despite how expensive it is) I love the cute furniture, and the whole cooking thing. But another thing is that some foods take AGES to cook. Like bread, it takes like HOURS!!!!! So, if you are reading the reviews, trying to decide whether or not to download it, YOU SHOULD!

Really need a jewel confirmation prompt. Great game but missing a confirmation prompt to confirm spending jewels. So many small buttons that a fat finger can click on accidentally to spend jewels. Just gets really annoying after a while. Also need to balance the game more. The amount of materials needed to expand is too much for a small gain. Not only are you limited by the pantry size, the currency and time factor, you are also limited by the amount of special materials needed to expand. It’s too limiting. It’s a great game with nice graphics but needs to balance more for better player enjoyment.

Won’t restore my purchases. I bought a new iPad and this program started me from the beginning unlike other programs. BEWARE of doing any purchases as you will lose money if you need a new computer and reload the game.

Maybe I've been unlucky. I don't know why, but all 3 versions have crashed on my phone. The original Bakery story, Bakery story 2 and Bakery story love and cupcakes. I was so addicted to these fun games and I loved the challenges, it really help fill my time while in hospital, but after a while they started lagging or the app wouldn't open, or when it did open open progress would be lost. The end result after months of trying, I gave up and deleted all them.

Money hungry. Been playing for a while, a long while. I refuse to spend money on the game and have gotten absolutely no where considering the time I had played. Too much needed to unlock foods and expand bakery etc. This game needs a serious update and some easy fixes. All the reviews say the same thing..... Will they ever listen or are they getting the money they want so don’t care? Pretty poor and very frustrating. I’ve never wrote a review on any game but really feel this needed to be put out there it is honestly that frustrating.

Is this game abandoned?. At the very beginning of the game there is a glitch with the fruit stand which makes it unplayable. I can see others posted about this a year ago but I just downloaded today. Is this game abandoned?

Good game overall; some bugs. Bakery game very reminiscent of early FB games. No intrusive adds, which is nice. Game progression is capped by various in game currencies (which can be bought with real money), although they can be slowly earned in game. I think the coffee pot is stuck in my game, which bothers me. I can move it but am not able to put it in storage or sell it. The game chugs and crashes often when I move furniture in game. Restarting the game is required to get it to work again, but then it continues to crash. (Lvl 15 so far)

Game hits a wall unless you pay for gems. Impossible to play if you don’t want to spend money (or don’t have money to spend). And the fems are not cheap. They also have it set up that you accidentally spend gems because of time lags and glitches. There’s a lot of lags and glitches in general and I have to force quit the game. I don’t recommend unless you have money to throw away. Deleted.

Cannot get strawberries. I just got the game and it is super fun to play!! I unlocked the fruit stand and want to do get some strawberries so I can learn how to make strawberry cake but whenever I press the fruit stand it brings me to the general store. Great game, bu it’s frustrating that.... I love this game so far, it would be 5 stars to me but minus one star for having me get so many different appliances (which I don’t mind), but I have no space to put them. It’s so difficult to expand my store! I play this game constantly, except for when I’m in class. I’f I continue to play like this, I might have to wait at least a week before have the 4th store extension, and greater stock for the general store. This is because to move further in the game, you need to collect pieces (like materials) to build up your place. And to get those pieces, you fill out quests or have them gifted by an in-game character by chance. Still, not hating on that method, the thing is... the chances are SO LOW and so I either have to spend real money on it or wait quite a while before building up my store even though my level is passing the state my store is in. By the way, I’m not completely against spending a bit of actually money for a game I like and know I can progress well in for the investments I make. I like the game, I’m not sure about how well I can progress with my investment. A few other concerns: 1. Why can the tables only hold 1 seat instead of 4? My only issue with that is that I like the aesthetic of more than on chair around a table. It was makes the cafe look for realistic as if 2. 20 minutes for the milk to restock seems like a long time for such a staple item. I’m constantly needing milk or frosting for quests. 3. Can I sell my old wallpapers and flooring? 4. Sometimes when I click the expansion button, the frame freezes and I can’t zoom in or out of the cafe or move the screen around.

PLEASE FIX!!!. Today while playing I logged out of my Facebook through the game and I got the warning that my progress would be saved if I logged back in. I thought it was fine but as soon as the app restarted, it showed a small bakery with no settings, tasks, or pantry button!!! Literally can’t do anything in the game now except move furniture. It doesn’t give the option to buy stuff from the markets or bake anything!!! I really like this game and didn’t think this would happen if I logged out.. please fix it!!!!

Bug fixes. I like this game but there are some bugs that need to be fixed.

They left this game for dead. Hasn’t been updated in 7 years yet they continue to update their first game. They’ve completely forgotten about it so it’s nothing but a bug filled, poorly operating mess. And it’s impossible to progress as it’s purely a pay to win game. Stick with the first Bakery Story, this one should be taken off the App Store

Angry. I was pretty far on my bakery and I just went to check my stuff on the game and it went back to the beginning of the game... and it won’t even let me do anything after it says to start baking... all that long time was a total waste.😒😒

Hard drive. My brother accidentally erased it once and than the same hour I loaded it back.and nothing was saved and I was at a extreme level and everything was unlocked so pls can you make it so that way your work is saved for next time

Abandoned. Fun game, food does not spoil which is a plus. But it is very clear this game has been completely abandoned by the developers for quite a while.

Like this game but it’s too slow paced. I really like these kinds of games and the graphics in this game was cute so I downloaded it. I also like how we have to take care of stocking our own pantry. However, some things that is frustrating is that it takes too long to collect parts to build up or shop, storage, stock, etc... It seems that we get parts from To-Go Orders but it’s by random, so I’m just getting random items I don’t yet need and it’s taking up space in my storage which I need to upgrade with parts (that aren’t the parts I’m rewarded). Also, I think that the milk in the general store takes too long to restock. It takes 20 minutes to restock, while the other basic ingredients take a minute or less. I sort of understands that the special ingredients like coffee and cherry might take sometime, but the milk is a basic ingredient that we need for many recipes. For example, to make frosting, we need 2 milk, and that takes 10 minutes to make, and if I’m getting 3 every 20 minutes, then my blender is on standby for 10 minutes while I wait for more milk. Then I also need milk for other recipes than jus the frosting recipe. Maybe having a separate storage for parts since it just builds up in my storage? And make the general store (for basic ingredients) restock in shorter time? Otherwise, I quite like this game, and it’s fun to play with my sister. I hope there will be more interaction with our friends since this game requires to be online. I would probably change this rating to 4-5 stars if something changed. =)

Bakery Story 2. Not off to a great start. I played the first game for years and now I decided to play the second one. Right when I enter the game there’s no dialogue, options for anything and whatever else there’s supposed to be I assume? The only interaction I had, was that I was able to take cupcakes off my oven and put them on a counter. When I tried to make a new food i couldn’t escape the void of nothingness. Very Frustrating Game. I do like this game, however it’s very restrictive for space and very difficult to get the parts needed to upgrade the stores to get more food items at once. They keep adding more cooking equipment but there’s no space to put it. They do not allow you to store items or equipment that you may not want to use. It’s seems like all they care about is the customer buying their gems as it’s very limited play without it. I wish they were less greedy as the game could be way less frustrating to play. Bugs!!. The game is good, but I wish you would spend more time fixing the bugs in it. The ingredients in the shops are periodically unlocking and re-locking themselves, and shop are getting brokenly switched around (i.e tapping into the fruit stand opens the chocolatier, even if you are not a high enough level to unlock anything in the chocolatier or even the chocolatier itself. Which means: no fruit for you!)

Comprehensive List of things that need updates.. 1. The coffee machine and other machines alike should serve a genuine purpose 2. We should have the ability to add friends and visit others just like Restaurant Story 2, as it’s very clear where the devs concerns lie. Personally I’ve invested money, and I want more out of it. 3. Overall lag with people coming in, eating and leaving. 4. Expansions should cost less in coins and supplies due to the general amount of space even needed, it feels like I’m playing Tetris with everything I have and need and things I CANT PUT AWAY THAT SERVE NO PURPOSE It seems as though the devs are very out of touch with their own products and games and it’s disheartening, but I do enjoy it as is, but unless something changes I don’t see myself committing for longer than the craving to play lasts.

Awesome and Love the Game!. This is an awesome game! I used to have Bakery Story, but Bakery Story 2 is much, much better than the original! This one is much more exiting and makes me want to continue to play! I also enjoy the animations( how the characters look), and how there are other stores you can shop at besides the general one. I understand that you recently just came out, but when are we going to be able to visit others bakeries? May want an update very soon! Over all, great game and I love it!

Won't let me open fruit stand. Within 10 minutes I loved the game but when I tried to open the fruit stand when I clicked on it it brought me to the Luxury shop where I couldn't buy anything being on level 3. I also went to the goals tab and clicked on "collect strawberry" button and it still brought me to the luxury stop I reloaded and restarted and it still didn't work. I absolutely loved the first game but I can't get past level 3 because if the glitch on this one.

You could have done better 🙁. I'm very disappointed and very frustrated about this game. If you haven't played bakery story the original app it is way better, they do events and everything too. You do not have to buy ingredients like this app. There are better decorations and it's a more convenient app. This game is frustrating you basically have NO money to buy ingredients to bake your desserts everything like EVERYTHING is expensive like even the stoves not just decorations AND expansions for your bakery. You cannot keep this bakery running! 😱 I have 2 kids and they don't play this app but I know they will hate this app more than I do. Costs and Mix Ups. Bakery Story 2 is way better than the first one, but when I first downloaded the game a few days ago the fruit bar and the luxury ingredients had switched so at level 5 I hade a store that was available at level 39. To fix that I had to deleted the the game then re install it and that was very annoying, but I still had all my progress. Bakery Story is a great game, but everything cost SO MUCH! The barista bar cost 5000 cupcake coins, I would advise you to get it but you need to be patient!

Overall it’s a fine game. I think this game is a fine game overall, I wish they wouldn’t push for you to use all your gems. In the first 5 levels they start you off with 50 or so gems and then make you buy appliances that cost gems, causing you to lose all your gems. If they didn’t make you do that, I would have given the game 5 stars. I like to play this game when I get bored because it passes time very well.

Very Glitchy. I just started playing this game and within 5 minutes of playing already could not play anymore because it would not let me collect what I needed. It said that I needed to collect strawberries but every time I clicked on the fruit stand it opens the general store instead and only lets me go to that or the luxury store, as if the fruit stand does not exist. It even glitched for a minute and had items available to buy that are not supposed to be available until a much higher level which disappeared a minute later. Very frustrating and glitchy so I quickly got rid of the game.

Unnecessary Items. Please make it possible to put appliances that aren’t being used in inventory. Creates such a waste of space. Also the mail deliveries only give out silver keys once in a blue moon there is literally NOTHING I can buy with 7 bronze keys. Otherwise I think the ingredient replenishment and cooking times are waaaay more realistic for gameplay than Restaurant Story. And the graphics are still beautiful but I think there are developers out there that could make this game Apple Arcade worthy if the time and energy was actually put into updating the graphics and UI.

Cute but could use some improvements. Like the game but it gets frustrating. To expand everything you rely on finishing Togo orders and the handyman. I have finished ten Togo orders and over half of them were coins and not the specialty items needed. I purchased two special ovens learned the one recipe they offer (had I known I would not have purchased them) and now I need the space for tables (because I can't expand because I can't seem to earn the blueprint needed from Togo orders) but it has no option to store them. So I have two stupid ovens that only offer one recipe taking up space in a tiny diner that I can't expand. Frustrating.

Love it but just needs one change along with the other Storm games. I had problems with this and Castle Story: I lose all my progresses when I get a new device! It's really frustrating and all the money I put into it was all for nothing! If you can find a way to fix this so the next time I get a new device and install these apps that I'll be able to continue with my progresses!

Money Trap. This is a fun game. Unfortunately, the purpose of the game is to get you to spend as much money as possible. Every task is designed to get you to spend real money. I have completed the baker's club tasks over and over again and rarely have I been awarded the keys that are essential for my progress. The furniture creation tool has glitches. I have acquired the requested furniture and the game says that I still need it. If you don't mind spending a "few" dollars, you will love this game. The creators of this game have left the building. I have sent email reporting glitches, etc. no response. They have stopped adding seasonal items to this game. They've made their money and bounced.

Terrible customer service and gameplay. I started out loving the game but soon found many issues. The game itself moves instrumentally slow not to mention the drops for certain quests is random so you can be working on the same quest for 2 weeks and HOPE that you get the drop you need. I had issues with the game and emailed customer service and they responded instantly saying that they won’t help with any issues regarding Bakery Story 2 so I was on my own. Since they refused to help I ended up uninstalling the game as well as any other Storm branded games seeing how their customer service was far less than par. Pretty sad to be honest.

Bugs Have Been Fixed and There Are Not So Many Events Anymore. This game has such amazing graphics it makes me hungry. I love it, I play it nearly every day I can, and the storylines in quests are funny and simple. There used to be too many events, but that was fixed. Now there aren’t any! Please do more than one event per 2 years. (The amount of time, estimated, since the last one) I really like how Bakery Story 2 has improved, and I hope these suggestions help to continue that process.

I've been playing this game for quite some time now, and and I personally think it's a really fun and addicting game, but one thing I think you guys should improve on is to give more people gems in the beginning or at least put gems as some of the gifts in the gift boxes or give us gems once we accomplish a goal because in the very beginning of this game u guys make us spends gems even if we don't want to. Also once we run out of gems in order to get more we have to spend lots of money. If you guys can fix this problem I would be very happy.

They make the “bugs” happen on purpose. So you’re more likely to have to spend more money or time on the app. The app will “glitch” so perfectly that the $ u spent is suddenly gone or the things u spent the $ gone. It’ll change your progress randomly too so you have to start over. It’s FREEMIUM- if you have addictive tendencies, this game will steal your money and life if you’re not careful. I play and enjoy it but the purposeful glitches that ruin my progress is wrong- don’t get mad you haven’t conned me into spending $20 yet.

Stupid. This game would be fun if many things were changed. I can never earn enough diamonds. Customer support is a joke. You get an automated response that doesn’t answer your question. I have forgotten my stormID and password and it won’t let me reset. You should have the option to delete any amount of an item instead of having to delete all or none. What are the stupid silver keys for anyway? I have lots of them and can’t use them for anything. Do you think I could get the bronze or gold ones that are actually useful, of course not. I could go on for days. Time to delete a game that I can’t get anywhere in.

Restaurant Story 2 (feeling aggravated). I love the game but it need a few changes. The first thing is, if your going to keep doing events then you should have events where we could earn Jews number two the events shouldn't be so hard to complete number three when we're doing them orders we would like to get items so we'll be able to buy more storage. Just one more thing please make your Jews where we would be able to afford them and pleas make events a little easier.

Notifications. Let me start off by saying, I really like this game. It’s fun well balanced and the storylines within gameplay are creative and fun. But as of right now I’m kinda frustrated. The notifications won’t clear. I’ll have, say 5, notifications and I’ll go into the game to clear them, and I’ll come back out, and still have 5 notifications! It is extremely frustrating to me because I don’t like a messy home page and those notifications don’t clear until a new one comes to take their place

Hoping for an update. I’m such a big fan of this game. Is very entertaining and lovely. I’ve started the game from scratch several times and each time I fall in love with the game even more and see myself spending hours playing. I hope they can fix some of the lagging in the game and make new updates since I believe this game deserves them.

Lagging - Please fix!. I absolutely love the game and I also love how I’m still able to play on my iphone 15 pro max, but i’ve also noticed that Bakery Story 2 is especially laggy for some reason - it levels out later on and doesn’t get as bad if i don’t do anything and let the game run with the customers coming in and out Restaurant Story 2 isn’t laggy at all so i’m not sure if it’s just my phone or if it’s the app but please have this fixed! <3

Slow Progression, pay to win.. Want a Gold Key? Thank you notes? Useful stuff? Well good luck with this game then, because that isn't happening. You'll get all the stuff you don't want and get nothing that will help you progress. Don't get me wrong I love this game but they got some serious stuff to fix. Give Gold Keys more often and make certain things not take up inventory space. It's a pay to win game pretty much. They make it to where you really need to buy the gems which are over priced and you'd need multiple orders.

Not sure what happened. I am not sure what happened nothing had changed same phone same Apple ID when I woke up and began to play the game had restarted it self back to level 1. Now I am having problems with the second round of this things aren't showing up at level 12. I am not very happy about this because I was doing very well with the challenge. Speaking of the challenge I truely don't like the fact that you have to accept the challenge and that it takes up panty space

frustrating.. I love restaurant story 2, and the original games. this game however seems impossible to actually continue. I've done the secret bakers club requests about 10 times already and have never once received anything besides a bronze key. this is extremely frustrating because it takes a lot of time to complete the requests, and then you need silver keys to learn recipes. Liam doesn't always give thank you notes so it takes a good amount of time to get them to upgrade/expand anything which is, again, frustrating. I barely ever write reviews but like most, I'm hoping that this review will help improve the game before I give up on it completely.

Requires too many coins to buy stuff. This used to be my FAVORITE game but recently the ingredients, learning new recipes and equipment cost too many coins. Seriously, it costs $8 MILLION coins to open the luxury shop, once it is open it costs almost $2 MILLION coins to unlock the 2 ingredients inside. It then costs $4MILLION coins for the ice cream maker and then another $2MILLION coins to unlock a recipe. This is a JOKE!! In the secret bakers club I keep getting silver keys that are good for nothing, what am I supposed to do with 49 silver keys, but I never get a bronze key so I can't fulfill my to go orders. The quests are for items they are not unlocked because I don't have enough coins.

Needs Updating. In order to progress in this game, you need a stock of various items, but one of the items (the thank you notes) is no longer available. Every time the character comes he drops coins instead of the notes, so no progress for completing events, increasing stock capacity, or expanding the bakery. Without increasing the stock capacity, I am running out of space and soon the game will become unplayable as I won’t be able to stock ingredients as well as the items for events, expanding, etc. Upon researching I found that many others have the same complaint. This app has not been updated for a year, so I have the feeling the developers have given up on it. Don’t waste your time.

Needs a update. the game is great and is fun, until you get so many useless appliances that take up so much space! and your ‘pantry’ is so limited. and things like your ‘thank you letters’, ‘blueprints’, ‘brick’ and other useless things go in your pantry. like those items are not food why are they in the pantry? then you have useless appliances like the ‘bread oven’, and ‘spring oven’ that can only bake 1 item and you can’t get ride of it, it just takes up space. the game is fun, i still play it but it would be a lot better with and upgrade!

ALL MY DATA GOT ERASED. I’m furious. I was just playing and then I clicked off, nothing different. Then I come back to see my entire account wiped with me just going back to a fresh new account. I was playing this game super often, and loved it. Now I have to completely restart. I didn’t do anything ethier, nothing unusual. I even linked my Facebook too. EDIT: Now as I try to restart, the game is completely glitched out, I can’t even bake anything. It tells me to click it, but nothing happens. I was at level 16, had 70k+ coins, 14+ gems, had my Game Center and Facebook linked. I see this has happened to a few others, but this is super frustrating.

Absolutely love this game!!!. I have spent countless hours playing this game its definitely one of my favorites. I would never dream of getting rid of my bakery. One problem I do have is that when getting rid of items on your shelf it gets rid of all of them not just a certain amount and its frustrating. If that could be fixed and then the game would be perfect. :)

Secret Bakers Club?!. Ok, this game is great. Fun features and cute gameplay. But the new feature called the "Secret Bakers Club" is awful. I work hard to bake all the recipes within the time limit, and then I get 1 stupid bronze key! To get the Gourmet Goods you need a silver one, and if you don't have that, you can't bake some of the recipes! Then once you have a silver key and have bought the Gourmet Goods, you need more silver keys to actually learn the recipes! This is a very annoying feature and it almost never gives the key you need, please make it more reliable! Thanks, and I still 💗 this game!

Love It, but... Unless I’m viewing the app page incorrectly, the game hasn’t been updated in at least 2 years. :( It’s one of my most favorite games that has stayed on my phone for a long time, but some new added features would be really nice. Especially the advertisement saying we can visit neighbors. Where are the neighbors? That ad has been there for years, lol. :( Fingers crossed y’all will update it again, I’m still holding on to it!

Don't buy!!!!. I thought this game would be fun and I in joyed it for 5 minutes. But when it tells you to unlock the fruit stand and you go in it says milckell's luxury shop!! Make this better. I love this game A LOT and I play all the time. The bad thing is, I don’t rly like the fact that u have to wait like, a half hour for something to restock. It gets really annoying when you need to serve an order. Also, where do I get gems?! I don’t want to spend my money to get gems. I’d rather watch an ad or play a mini game or something. Few suggestions. I love this app however the have a few suggestions. Can we have a progress bar for each level telling is how many experience points until the next level instead of how many we have collected so far. And lastly, when trying to collect ingredients for a recipe can you ask us if we are sure we want to spend gems on ingredients because I have pressed the purple button on accident numerous times causing me to spend my hard earned gems. Also, can you make the bakery expansions bigger. My bakery is so cramped and it's hard for me to store and press appliances to bake items.

PROS: Characters are cute, the desserts are fun to make and does not take long to complete, many opportunity to earn coin rewards by completing orders, earn coins quickly, purchasing decorations or appliances are not expensive CONS: can't earn free gems, can't place appliances into storage or sell them, complete at least 21 to-go orders (must wait 3 hrs. for the next to-go order) to collect all items for bakery expansion, takes a long time to get the parts needed to increase stock, you can only request "quick serve" from Facebook friends

Great, but.... I've been playing this game for a while, but things are taking a long time. New bakery items are extremely costly to make and it takes forever to get coins. Also, what can we do with a bunch of silver keys? I've used all my gold and bronze keys, but have silver keys where I can't use them for anything! There needs to be some kind of converter to change silver keys to bronze or gold. I barely get gold keys and have lots of gold items.

Game Isn't Working!. The game was fine until I tried to click on the Fruit Snack Bar! Once I clicked on it, a different shop showed up as if the snack bar doesn't even exist. I keep looking at the snack bar and it IS a snack bar. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I re-buy the snack bar it SHOWS UP AS A DIFFERENT BUILDING that you have to be on level thirty nine to unlock. I dont have access to ANY fruits/ingredients in the store. However, my siblings both have access to the fruit and ingredients inside the snack bar. All I see when I click on the snack bar is someone else's shop! Help!

Would be so fun but…. I like this game, I’ve played it off and on for years. However after a few weeks of playing I eventually delete it. It takes so long to replenish the goods and to make certain items. I’m only on for maybe 3-5 minutes once or twice a day because I’m waiting for something to be back in stock or finish baking/cooking/mixing. I get bored because there’s nothing to do but wait. And this time around everything is glitchy, the screen moves around slowly and you have to keep taping to do anything.

Frustrated and hectic😠😤. This game needs to be more exciting it sends me notifications every 2 sec. and I to expand my restaurant I need dumb things. You can barely make enough money to get more cooking ovens or have a bigger bakery. Every time I expand my bakery it expands 1 centimeter it’s like they want you to expand your bakery but how am I supposed to do that when it’s only being expanded one block then it ask me to buy more tables and chair how am I supposed to do that with only a little of space that my costumers can barely walk in. They even start you off with the smallest bakery like come on make this bakery better if we’re going to be spending our time on this game 🤦🏽‍♀️😠😤

1st one was better. This one takes far too much time to move forward and I dislike how there is no confirmation on buying items with gems. Could accidentally click the speed up process on baking foods and waste gems instantly and the whole ingredient/storage space is ridiculous. The first one was much more fun when you didn’t have to wait for ingredients or constantly go back and forth between the markets of ingredients. plus you have to buy ingredients to make ingredients such as frosting.... just too time consuming and tedious with many unresolved issues from the community. Game was deleted off my phone only after a day of playing.

One glitch. I had the first bakery story game and it was great! So is this one so far. I have just started and there was a huge glitch. Whenever I clicked on the fruit store it brought me to Michelle's luxury store that isn't supposed to be available until level 39. But, I managed to fix this problem. I read a review and someone had the same problem as me. I deleted the app and got it again. All of my data and progress in the game was still there, and when I clicked on the shop it took me to the correct place, the fruit shop. I hope this helps!

The 3D animation needs some work. I’ve been playing baking story on and off for about six years and my favorite part of the game has always been how you can design/customize your bakery and the community aspect of it. The characters in this game just look a little off, the 3D animation needs little more refinement. It’s very clunky and it lags quite a lot. There are so many things moving, it’s hard to really get sucked in or enjoy the visual experience of the game. I think most of all I just don’t like the art style. Baking story is one of the few games I find myself coming back to and the clean, pretty designs play a huge part in this. I’m just gonna stick with that game

Nice. it's a really cute game and I enjoy it. But the materials needed to upgrade the shops and expand and liams thank you notes don't drop often enough from order rewards. I think it would be more fun if it was easier to unlock the expansions and stuff. I have a lot of money but few parts to upgrade things. the to-go orders don't refresh fast enough. It is also irritating that I keep accidentally clicking to use gems to buy ingredients I don't want, so I think asking if you want to buy ingredients with gems would be good

It's "Ok". The game is overall really fun! After my game had deleted using the first app (The first Bakery Story) I was really anxious to see if there was a better version, stumbling upon the second bakery story. I would say this game is 5 stars but I had to delete and re-download the app many times for the fact some things wouldn't pop up. The game can glitch up to 5 times a day, exiting the app, depending on how much time you spend on it. I don't seem to mind. It's a very addictive game, I just wish for these glitches to be fixed and a way to earn gems more frequently without having to download other apps.

Improvements needed. First. Let me say I really like this game. I would rate it 5 stars except for three things. 1. New items cost too much. New recipes cost over 2 million to open. When you only earn 1-2 thousand a day it takes 3-4 weeks to earn enough money to open "learn" the new stuff. 2. Secret baking challenge. This feature needs a major programming change. It should only require you to complete recipes you are able to make. For 8 straight days it has included items that I am unable to fill because I haven't learned them yet. I understand that it is a challenge and it should have a higher level of difficulty, but it shouldn't be impossible to complete. 3. Tech support. When you submit a problem to tech support, They take days/weeks to respond and the answers they provide are curt and don't really solve the problem.

Odd design. I think this is another Storm 8 game they have totally abandoned. Don't waste your time or $$$! I truly think this one is designed so that we will spend a lot of $$. It's so easy to lose gems that I refuse to buy more. At upper levels it's ridiculous, you level up, 'can' purchase a new oven but at millions each it takes weeks to get it, THEN millions more to learn a new recipe. Too long and drawn out. The new challenges with the keys is NOT fun as you get challenge items that you are not able to bake. I will not connect to games on Facebook either and there is no other ways to have a community. Have been playing since it started but think I am close to deleting this game.

So fun!❤️. There are some negative comments, but make sure to read this because people are complaining too much. My sisters told me to get this game (Their 21 & 26 so it appeals to many ages lol) and I've been obsessed ever sense! You do have to wait, but it's not as long as other games of this sort. My only complaint is that I accidentally buy something when I don't mean too. So maybe when u buy something add a "do you really want to buy ---?" All in all u should get this game it's awesome!

Great but Too Cluttered. I love this game and I play it almost every day, the only complaint I have is that I can't put away any appliances. Some of them I don't even use ever, so I was hoping you guys could update the game to where we can put those away. I always try making my bakery looking very nice, but with all the appliances it just is very cluttered and it really bothers me. I also know I'm not the only one who hates the fact that we can't put anything away. So please fix that, it would really help. Thank you.

Cute—I love it 😊. Cute graphics and easy gameplay! TeamLava rarely disappoints. My only complaint is that the pantry system is awful compared to Restaurant Story 2; we need to have separate "pantries" for ingredients, tools/parts, and seasonal items, as well as the ability to discard part of a stack of items instead of the ENTIRE stack. I can't bake anything if my pantry is full of Liam's notes, I don't want to discard them all and have to save up again, and I simply cannot be expected to buy gems every other day to upgrade my storage or get missing ingredients.

Not as good as Bakery Story. Great graphics but seems much more invested in pushing players to buy gems than the first installment. Just started playing so maybe I’m missing something, but where is the social element to this game? Where you could ask for parts and other essentials from neighbors? Whereas the first game you could just buy gems for cosmetics, which I did lol more than I’d like to admit, this new game seems to literally incentivize the player to buy gems to push forward in the game. And the whole pantry ingredients system is not fun. The whole game is just a cash ploy. Just doesn’t have the same fun feel to it the original did/does.
