LOVE IT. This game is one of my favorites! I love how food doesn't spoil and how calm and relaxing it is. Yes appliances and upgrades cost a lot of money but if you're patient you eventually unlock recipes that make lots of money so the price of the equipment doesn't become such a large problem. I do agree that the amount stuff required for upgrading stores, the garden, and the restaurant space is a little ridiculous. Maybe the handyman could give more supplies more often? Also if you take the time there's a free gem option by watching a 30 sec video. These gems can be used to purchase supplies for upgrading. Patience I guess is key if you don't want to spend a lot of money. But overall I love this game!! Best restaurant game I've ever played!

When are things going to change?. So far, loving the change from the old classic restaurant story...the little people coming and going is really cute and makes more fun and interesting to play...just wish that when you expand, the space was bigger and that it didn't require so much to do it....and why do the appliance cost so much when you don't make that much money with what you cook and sell...might need to do a little adjusting to make it a little more even....also, why can't you sell the excess from the pantry instead of discarding the extra you don't need...that could help earn extra money and what's with not getting the parts you need for upgrades or the other things you need like ginger & vanilla, WHY are so hard to get?! And why is it that when I buy things from the market I don't get them?! Again, why can't you SELL the excess food and other items from the pantry & tool box instead of just discarding them...that would be a way to make extra money...Some changes/updates really need to happen...like YESTERDAY!!!

Unplayable due to Update?. It was an enjoyable four or five out of five game with a wonderful interface originally. However, around a month ago, it has become unplayable because it takes longer to rid the counters of servings than it does to cook things. I stopped cooking food two weeks ago but open the app multiple times a day to make sure people are sitting and consuming the servings of food on the counters - yet it still takes forever for all of the servings to be consumed. It’s pointless now. It’s as if customers aren’t consuming servings when the game is not open anymore and even when the game is open, it takes significant periods for the food to dwindle. I think it had to do with an update as it wasn’t this way prior.

Love this game but its also annoying. The game is amazing and it’s challenging but the annoying part of this game is the construction worker which only give nails i have 20 nails and zero wood and u cant proceed in the game if u dont have the other equipments to build anything else , you have to wait for the construction man every 30 minutes come on ! And sometimes the tables are full so he may come again and he might not, the other problem its only the construction man who has the nails, blue prints and wood . Getting the vegetables takes along time and the other things like the ingredients takes aloooooooooooooooooot of time to reset so you will use ur gems and which are very expensive in the game. The overall of this game its a nice game but the issues that i mentioned are making the game boring and for sometime it will make u bored i hope these things are fixed so that it will be more playful.

Pretty good and fun game but could be better. I really like this game quite a bit, but it could use some improvements. For example, it would be great if you could just enjoy the game without having to worry about having enough gems to complete a catering event and sometimes the game will offer the reward from an event anyway, but a lot of times it would still cost a lot of gems, unfortunately. I also wish that there wasn’t such a time limit on the game, because it would really help when it comes to completing the events and receiving the rewards, which a lot of times might be extra gems and that can be really frustrating. I just feel that it would be better if the game’s goals were extended, sometimes a few extra days, because I don’t understand what the big rush is!! Other than that, I really enjoy this game, it is very interesting. So, I feel that overall, it’s a really enjoyable and good game that relaxes me. I also like the concept of it and enjoy playing it, because it’s a lot fun. Although, it could always be better, if the time was lengthened and made easier to obtain the goal rewards.

Fun game but could use work. I enjoy this game, but once you hit level 60 you’re basically done for. It almost seems like a level 61 doesn’t exist. They stop doing the cute fun stuff of throwing in new ovens and hardly as much new decor. The only new meals you get are from the cruises you have to win in order to get, which is practically impossible unless you play all the time and have life scheduled around the game. They put the points up in the corner and u can’t even see the full number you’re trying to achieve. It’s crazy how once you hit level 60, they put an obscenely high number in order to get to level 61 which makes no sense. This further makes me think it just does not exist. I’ve visited neighbors too and have never seen anyone higher than level 60. The game needs to not hit a stalemate. It has to keep creating new things and progressing to keep people interested.

Only okay. I did really like this game, but it has not once given me a gem or money sale since I installed it! Considering iris WAY too easy to buy groceries with gems accidentally, that is crazy. My daughter got a sale and we installed at the same time and I actually play more than her. Is that it? Do I need to slack off to get offers? In any game I play, I only buy gems or the equivalent on sale. I matzoh d thousands, but I am only doing it for on sale items period. I want to feel like I am getting my monies worth. Since there are no sales and you can't gift gems like your other games. Then it's not worth playing. In addition, I installed this app from their Home Design app and I was supposed to get coins and stars when I reached level 17, but didn't get them when I did. So never install those games they say they will reward you with, as they are rips offs. I have been on both several times each day, yet both stop giving me progress coin increase and start me over like I skipped days, which I never have. So lots of glitches with these companies games. I will be moving on to try a different companies games.

Free? Do NOT waste your time. Ok, free to download, after that you pay. They have a daily allowance of free gems for wasting your time with ads, but most of the time, the server on their end isn’t connecting. I’m guessing they actually have no one who wants to advertise with them, so there’s nothing to connect with. The cruises are constant and, once you figure out the algorithm, pretty easy to get through quickly. If you want a good waste of time that satisfies a strange yen to be irritated, this is the app for that. But wait! There’s more! The crashing frequently is an added bonus. A year later I tried again...no change, and it got worse. Now they steal your progress with pop-ups. They fixed nothing from the last batch of problems, and just added to them. To make matters worse, they asked me for input to fix it. Look, dimwits, if I wanted to make my own game I would. But you’re not paying me to do your bug checks, so until you do, you get your ubergeniuses that you overpay to figure it out.

Restaurant Story 2. Just how much do extra counters cost? I got one counter for 70'000 ish. Is that ok. Take forever to cook food and serve customers. I gave up my day and night life to devote to this game. One table is a little dum. Otherwise no PROBLEMOS!Like to see a chef in training. Like game agree with some of the other reviews on expansion and 270 for selling something and it is not set. Others have a problem with that. I like the heavy tippers! Thank you. I like visiting my friends everyday. They don't pick up their tips all the time so I miss out. I am Leary to keep them on my friend list because they don't offer the same that I do when I visit.

Developers are too Greedy. Would give 5 stars if expanding didn't take two weeks to gather materials. The only way you can do this is die of boredom of waiting for a maintenance worker to come into your restaurant and tap on him to give ONE of the many materials. I suggest a person who requires a lot of money; anything would be better than paying 50 gems in total just to expand ONE block of length to a side of the restaurant, and you can't even choose which side. All of Storm8's games are money-hungry, but this one is probably the worst of them. In conclusion, if you're still reading, only get this game if you have a LOT of patience and no other games to play.

Mixed feelings. The first time I played the game I played till around lvl 23. This time, lvl 25. It's fun at first, but eventually after the newness of a new game wears off you are just left with attempts to empty your virtual pockets, and ploys intending you to spend them. The game has plenty of customization, but some tables cost around 5 dollars in gems. There are also little events and cruises intending to make the game more interesting, and that would be true if it weren't virtually impossible to win them. You have to coming back every hour or so for a week to barely scratch it though without spending 10 dollars on things to help you along. This game could have been amazing if the game creators weren't so money focused. I'm happy to spend money on a game that I think will be a good investment, but I just don't see that in a game that is over needy in its expected time investments, and entirely focused on monetary gain rather than an enjoyable experience for the players.

Ideas but not exactly you could say. Hello, I noticed that you haven’t worked on Bakery Story 2 and this game yet since about 4yrs (4 years) ago. Which in my opinion, I think you should update way more because it looks more “updated” you could say but it really isn’t, and It has a better style in my opinion then Bakery Story 1 and Restaurant Story 1. I still love the original games, but I find it creepy how the style in the 1st games how the people smile so creepily like this: 😃 (something like that). This game just feels better then the original in my opinion, no offence tho! i still play Bakery Story 1 and Restaurant Story 1. But anyways, I hope you take my ideas into something good. Good app if your independently wealthy & no job!. Played my first challenge 'Stephen the zoologist' this week. All week-very time consuming. Finished my last progress goal with 2 hours to spare and got to Stephen only to find out would have to do many more HOURS of work or I could spend 600 gems. Since I used all of my gems 150+ to get to this point I checked to see how much more 600 gems would cost me. $50 folks-that's right, this game is a scam. Game got me for $15. $5 for initial gems to test the waters and $10 this week to get to what I thought was going to be the end of a challenge. I won't be purchasing more gems from this game. I understand it's a business - and I do not mind paying for the entertainment but Not by being tricked into spending more money. Shame on you Storm 8. I'll play but in a disengaged way unless there is full disclosure beforehand.

Great game. I love this game! I started playing about three weeks ago and I love it so far. Here’s one tip: when you start the game you start with 20 gems and its best that you buy the 1000 coins for 10 gems then you will have lots of money and not have to worry about running out of money. Just a thing I TrueDepth and it works really well. Tip #2: don’t keep on buying the 2 coin and more at the beginning of the game when your just starting just keep making eggs it cost less and the all the people dont mind it then once you feel you have enough money then you can start making other things. You should definitely download this game. It is the best game ever!!!!!

Awesome game but the notification glitch. I’ve played this game before and it’s pretty good. I do well on cooking and serving. I leave the game for a while (1 day or so) and there’s just a few notifications like less than 100. After a few hours it’s still at the same rate. This has happened at least 3 times. After leaving the game for a good while it’s less than 100 notifications. A few hours later, I check on it and… OVER 2 THOUSAND NOTIFICATIONS SHOW UP FOR THIS GAME! I CHECK MY NOTIFICATION LIST, IT SHOWS JUST FEW AND I DON’T DELETE THE MESSAGES! THEY JUST APPEAR OUT OF THE BLUE FOR NO REASON! I CHECK ON THE GAME AND SEE NOTHING WRONG! AND FOR SOM REASON THIS HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE! I don’t know why it’s like this. Keep in mind I’m using an Apple device to play the game. I have a screenshot ready too. Need new things!. I really do enjoy this game. Your food will not rot. You can play with and help your neighbors, but you can also complete quests with out their help. My biggest complaint is that their is nothing new being added. The “new” quests are reusing decorations from previous quests. No new decoration added. Come on! Freshen things up! I know there are items that are really cool that have not been available since I started playing a couple of years ago. You could at least re-introduce those. I’ve seen butterfly tables, St. Patrick decorations, and wall paper that I would love to earn or buy, but with each new quest, the only thing new is a dish to earn diamonds. I have enough of those new dishes. I want new stoves and decor. Please...

Just one major problem. I’ve had this came for about three weeks now. I actually really like this game except for one thing that is actually really major. I CANNOT link the game to Facebook. I try at least 10 times everyday and it never works. It’s really frustrating because it was literally like one of the second things the game asked me and it’s also a easy little quest. However I can’t complete it. It keeps saying that you guys are aware of it but nothing is changing. It frustrates me because I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get the cheese fondue because of it. I don’t want to waste 25 gems. It’s like the game is trying to force me to spend gems that I worked really hard to get. If this was fixed I would give 5 stars in a heart beat. It’s just super disappointing and I hope whatever the issue is gets fixed soon.

Since updating game and IPad. “FIX”. Can’t play!!. When loading the game loads in a blacked view. It’s like an overlay of two screens. And then the event icons along the right are now almost in the middle of the game and you have scroll around them to click on stoves and other areas of the game. Also, the free daily videos for gems does not load. SIMPLY PUT- development is twisted. The tables are over lapped. When loading the game. There are two different squares(tables) over one another. And the event icons that are supposed to be along the right side are in the middle with the one table which is positioned to the left of the screen. So the icons are now in the MIDDLE of game play. The free gem video icon doesn’t work either. Says sorry cannot play, please try again later. It’s been a week now and still no fix. Suppose I should just delete this game. No point playing if I have to move all over the place just to click on a piece of the game.

Yeah this is a little ridiculous. Basically everything in this game is a little much. I have three expansion requests sitting in my little task log. Getting the money is no problem, but needing to wait for the little construction worker guy to show up just to get the things I need to expand my store isn’t fun at all. My store has become cramped up. If I don’t continuously make the tiny dishes then I’m hardly making any money. They don’t even have a lot of servings. Really. It’s a lot more than just a little frustrating. I don’t want to spend money on this game so I’m probably going to uninstall it. I thought it was pretty neat, at first, but my task log either has tasks for me to download MORE games or tasks I can’t do because of a timer on the ingredients I need, because I can’t get the correct hardware from the construction worker guy, or simply because I can’t afford it after having to spend my money to learn a recipe. Sorry, I play the first Restaurant Story, and I love it. I play these games to relax, not to get more frustrated than I already am.

This game could be amazing. I really enjoy this game. It’s relaxing. But as somewhere who works in software, the sheer laziness on the developers behalf is quite pathetic. If I had more money and a development team, it would only take a couple weeks to fix bugs that would make all the difference. I wanted to get this on my iPad, but the screen doesn’t optimize correctly so some of the buttons that are supposed to be on the side are smack dab in the middle. The app doesn’t fit any phone correctly from the last 5 years. It’s just pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I’ve started looking for something similar with developers that actually care about their users. To the app developers, if you ever wanna grow this app please listen to your audience and make some changes. :(

Can never finish caters events. The only real problem I have with this game is the catering events. I enjoy doing them but the time is just not realistic to complete it. You give a quest to complete within 20 days but you only have 7-9 days to turn in foods. As we all have to sleep work and do other things while waiting for foods to cook and ingredients to reset in the stores. I almost always seem to never make the dead line I normally get the first 4 to 5 prizes. If you are going to give a quest to complete within 20 days atlas the give us 14 days to complete turning in the foods. I refuse to spend real money in these games.

Too Much Money & Trouble. I LOVE Bakery Story & Restaurant Story so of course I thought this second version would be fun too. Wrong. This is one frustrating game! This is the first time I've had to leave a bad review for game too, but this one is set up, just like some of the other players here have said, to cost to real world money if you would like any cute decorations or to advance or expand. And I don't mean a little bit of money, I mean the gems are expensive for even one little decoration or an expansion to be able to just buy the food you need to cook for customers. Yes there are quests to help you earn some of the decorations but again, it is almost impossible to do without spending money on gems. I spend money on the games that I enjoy to help support them of course, but this is one game that asks for way too much and if you combine that with the fact that this game requires a lot of attention just to keep small dishes done because you have, as I said, such poor access to ingredients, sadly, I'm done playing. I'd love to play again if they would make even the ability to buy some cooking ingredients a little easier. Then we could at least work on quests in time and still do what we need to in the RW.

Constant annoying ads and quests to download their other games. I really liked the game at first but after a little while I realized I wasn’t going to be able to play the game without downloading their other free to play games. There are constant reminders to get their other games and they make quests or whatever where you have to download it, which get in the way of the ones I care about and they don’t seem to go away. I tried to brush it off at first, thinking it might go away since I had begun not too long ago, but they never did stop. There are pop ups for their other games when you start and what feels like every 4min. I couldn’t take it anymore so I am uninstalling. If you don’t mind pop ups and that kind of stuff, it’s a pretty fun game.

Want to love it. I downloaded this game about 5 days ago maybe because it reminds me of a cooking game I use to play on Facebook just like this a few years ago that I really enjoyed. I’m on level 13 and have about 7000 coins. There are quite a few things that irritate me and I am not sure I will continue to play. Firstly. All of the pop ups requesting I download another game are annoying. It’s not even a game which is similar to the game play of this one and I have ZERO INTEREST. also my to do list have a lot of tasks that require a connection to Facebook and assistance from friends. I have no desire to connect to FB or spam my friends with game requests. It is so stupid that expansions are only one small additional strip of the restaurant!!!!!! My restaurant is overcrowded and people are having a hard time getting in and out the door and to the hostess stand and I have expanded 2 or 3 times already!!!!! I don’t mind spending money on games however this game is set up to have you spending money forever and the benefits do not outweigh the costs.

Fun game but . . .. I love this type of game - cooking, gathering ingredients, etc. This game in particular could be fun but it takes too long to gather the needed ingredients. My kitchen has so much down time. I’m at a low level and critical ingredients such as flour or sugar require 1 1/2 and 2 hours between harvests. It also takes way too long to get building materials needed to increase restaurant size and build required buildings/fields for ingredients needed at higher levels. Higher for me is level 16, lol. All these limitations are very frustrating, hence my 3 out of 5 stars. If the developers fix these issues, this game is easily 5 stars (or if the player is willing to drop $$$$ every few days to buy their way to higher levels).

Could be a 4-5 star game but..... It takes entirely too much just to get certain things. The game is extremely money hungry. You’ll level up faster if you’re willing to constantly buy gems to get stuff done faster. Then when you expand it only give you another row but it took me a month to expand!? Then the quick serve hands are strictly Facebook friends which I don’t like because then I’d have to add people I don’t know to get quick serve hands that help finish stuff faster? Also why is everything so expensive? I like the option to buy a style and you just pay for tables and at any given time once you’ve paid for the style you can just change it. I don’t like that you only get one extra table every 2-3 level ups? Like what happened to unlimited table purchase with rising price?? This game is definitely made money hungry which is annoying because it good be a good game if they’d make it a bit less money hungry and more in the players favor. Time for a new update the gems opportunities don’t work!

Just an okay game. Recently been playing... awesome graphic, Easy to play and cook... however this game have not been updated in 2 years... meaning that nothing have changed or improved... If you play game everyday you may be able to upgrade your restaurant... which takes a long time... you can mistakenly waste diamonds by clicking on produce to cook food and not get diamonds backs... ugh... this is frustrating... i may soon delete game as i only play to cook food and collect coins but after a while of no new update this game is becoming boring... you do have tasks to complete but darn near impossible to complete... some dish requires ingredients that i can never produce like butter... i havent been able to make butter in over 4 months... ugh... come on!!!!

Crazy expensive. Nice game and graphics I love that but there a few things that make the game impossible to reach certain goals or tasks to be done; you need to buy gems or extra coins so you can get what you need; in my case I don’t have extra money to spend on a game so I just played with what I have ; I like bakery story betterthey fix the time limit to finish the quests and some other features and appreciate that. This game has a lot of features to be fix time for collecting produce, time for cooking some meals; time to complete the ship orders. That time out of 12 to 15 hours that put you once you reach a goal is not fear; and everything else is fix in the game so is not that much fun is too bad for all the nice graphics of the game but is not worth it .

Fun but costly. I love this game but don’t expect to get very far without spending some money. It’s been addictive but I do have some suggestions: please allow other ways to earn gems, maybe by visiting other restaurants. Also, I wish that after you’ve mastered a recipe that it would lower the time or offer an advantage. Also, there needs to be other ways to get vanilla, you need to offer it and other herbs at the market! And finally, why can’t you sell certain decorations?? I see other restaurants that have certain decorations that I want and they’re not available. I would like more flooring choices such as grass or water! Maybe we could trade? Or earn turn them in for gems. And one more thing... what do I have to do to get a shovel?! Having fun but frustrated about these things.

Great game with a glitch. I love this game! I’ve been playing all of the story games since a kid, this one it’s a huge step up from the original. I like how food doesn’t waste, and how you buy decor themes instead of individually buying the different color. I also enjoy buying your ingredients and having more communication with the “community”. My only couple of things to mention, when I first log in to serve any dishes that are ready, I will click on it and it will move to the counter, and then glitch and go back to being ready to serve. This only happens when I first open the game and seems to happen no matter how long I wait to click on them. I also think you should be able to have more tables sooner. I have a lot of costumers who leave, but thankfully there’s no more ratings. Overall an amazing and super fun game I think I will continue to play these game my whole life.

My favorite game app. Things I like about Restaurant Story 2: Interactive play (I like the level of neighbor play ... not too much required and for me it is fun to help others by tipping and giving gifts), can play at my own pace (I can take breaks and it's still fun when I return ... not a high commitment level), and goals (I enjoy trying new recipes, making food to earn coins to learn new recipes or expand the restaurant, etc., and having the options of cooking for cruise ships to earn rewards or following other storyline goals as my time allows or in a set timeframe).

LOVE THIS GAME!! HAVE DEVELOPERS ABANDONED?. I absolutely LOVE the concept of this game!! It does have a great concept and very lovely graphics. However, I’ve been playing and spending lots of money on this game for 3 years and noticed the developers just aren’t upgrading. I’m hoping that someone can tell me if they’ve abandoned this game?? I have been hoping for the HOT DOG CART to come into play, but NO updates. I can’t even find anything on their website or on a chat forum. I also can’t find the storage to retrieve the furniture that I sent there. I’m sure that I’m not the only person who’s very disappointed that developers create games and then just abandon them after we’ve invested so much time, effort and money.

Waiting and more waiting. If you like waiting for 7 years for anything to happen in your life then you will enjoy this game. I played the original 1 and it was so much easier and better. This junk game is literally a life waster. You collect ingredients that take hours to refill only to make a meal that takes more hours to make. Then hey guess what. They have an event that takes hours to fill followed by expanding your shop that takes hours to find parts. But that’s not all. If you download right now you will get to enjoy the shops that require parts to build which take the said above hours to get more ingredients that take hours to make those delicious hour by hour meals. Also there customer service is a joke. Don’t bother spending money. They won’t reply to lesser cases and won’t help you. Storm 8 is officially done for my family and friends. Give the gift that keeps on giving back by never downloading this game.

I like this game! Just one concern.... I really like this game. You can play it at your own pace for the most part (aside from the ship catering challenges where you really have to be on top of things to finish). I continuously played this game for over a year on my previous phone, but needed to create a new game with my new phone because my previous game wasn't saved on a cloud service. The only thing I don't like now as opposed to the past is that there aren't smaller challenges anymore in between ship catering challenges. I remember a year ago there would be additional challenges outside of catering which made the game more interesting and fun to play. There are the daily challenges now for stamps, but those are pretty easy to complete. I wish you all would bring back the challenges you used to have.

Great Game... When it Actually Works.. I don’t know what happened in the latest update, but it made the game almost unplayable. It’s constantly stating that I’m not connected to the internet, when I definitely am and the signal is strong. When I do get to play it, it freezes and loses the signal again. This only started after the last update. I’ll do several actions, the game will suddenly reload and I’ll have to do the actions all over again. My phone has not changed, and neither has my household internet. It’s really obnoxious, since I’m losing out on challenges and I’ve already spent lots of money on it. This used to be one of my favorite games.

I like the game but hmmm.. The game is great but having to wait an hour or more for things in the shop? Kind of ridiculous. Especially since my food is running out. I always purchase at least one thing in the games I play. Purchased 120 gems and they were gone in five seconds because everything is RIDICULOUSLY expensive in this game. You rarely get the pieces you need to upgrade. 250 gems for a helper in the expo? That’s OUTRAGEOUS. There’s no option to remove these stupid ads even though I just paid FIVE DOLLARS. I do not want to download the other games. I do not want to see them in my goals, especially when I’m not getting anything for completing them. Pop up to ask me to download a game. NO I DON’T WANT TO. This game needs some serious fixing and I’m honestly ready to delete and ask for a refund.

Love the game but expensive. I really enjoy playing until I have to spend real world money to keep enjoying it. I also hate the pop up ads. If you offer gems or upgrade parts I’ll sit through adds. That’s how I landed upon this game in the first place. However the enjoyment has landed on frustration because i can’t even justify spending my own real world money for the tiny amount of return. You can’t really keep playing the game at a pace that taunts you to spend real world money from the giveaways. I’m going to keep playing a little longer but I’m expecting the frustration of waiting an hour for one ingredient that you need 4 of to make a dish will leave have me not bothering to open the game soon.

Needs a few tweaks.. First of all, I love video games. I have played hundreds of them. This game is great for what it is, but there needs to be more ways to earn items like nails than to wait for the handy man to come in and drop them or to pay for them. It makes it really hard to do anything without paying. Even if I play 24/7 during a catering event, there's no way I'm going to deliver everything and earn the recipe without paying. It even asks for things that I can't even make yet (seafood shop not open) so it wastes my valuable time. I'd consider spending money if it would slightly help me, not if I HAVE to in order to win anything. I'd even consider it better if they would randomly pick one player a month and give them like 100 gems or something. Something to look forward to. :/ Otherwise, it's fantastic!

When is the next update?. Recently started playing this year. You have no idea!! I love this game, but what i've noticed that your last update was 4 years ago.... There's some unfinished stuff in the game that says 'Coming soon' which could add new levels and more playing time! Also there's some bugs with the achievements, sometimes i'll already have what the achievement is telling me to get but it doesn't count it, and i don't want to use money on a duplicate... But that's it! Otherwise i lovee the game so much.

Waiting game. I played this game before and decided to give it another try again (so I have something to do at work lol) but I was just reminded why I stopped playing it. Some 10 hours wait for cooking and it feels like forever to wait for items to come back in stock on the shelves.. the expansions seem like a slow progress because some of the required items are so rare to find; I could play on hours end and none of them would appear (from the customers). And the goals are so far ahead and I feel like I never have anything done because like I said ^ items are hard to come by.

We need more. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely adore this game and I always find myself falling back on it I consider it one of my comfort games, but it’s so painfully obvious they just use this Games of loyal fan base to try and sell their other games it gets a bit repetitive when you’re asked a time and time again to download the property brothers game or some other main stream game this game developers but making I completely respect the hustle but they haven’t updated this game in three years give your loyal fan base some more updates and then more people will be interested in downloading your other games I just want to see more from this game I really do appreciate itAnd I feel like I’d be more inclined to download their other apps if they actually put more effort into this one that has such a loyal fan base

Multiple issues. Crashing,Time and Date messing up and Ad's.. First off I loved the original and I thought this was going to be cool and I started getting addicted ,BUT shortly I realized it takes too much space , it crashes and the Valentine's catering ship challenge was messed up for me by a day almost two , I emailed you Guys and you never fixed it , to many ads at start up for other games and why can't you sell the extra groceries (egg, cheese,noodles ect.) I'm left with no space and can't cook anything so I have to use my gems/diamonds which is frustrating I'm very upset and I'm deleting the app from my device . Please update and until changes happen and maybe I get an email back , I'll come back . I also realized after a certain amount of days I believe you delete the progress or account . Which is very disappointing , also that the terms of use will still be active after I delete the game !! In the TOF par. L ,M , N ; all have things that are kinda harsh. So please fix and update and hopefully you reply to my emails and give some answers .

Expensive for what it is.... So, this game was pretty great. Everything about the game play is awesome. However, this game is SUPER EXPENSIVE! You can earn two free gems per day, and supposedly you get gems from reaching the last day on a challenge. I wouldn’t know personally because I have never made it through the last part of a challenge. I’ve been playing for over a year and I’m a level 50 out of 60. Still... never won a challenge. You basically have to play 24/7 during a challenge to win one. The gem sales are terrible. Normally $9.99 for about 250 gems, sale is $6.99 for the same amount. That’s still a lot, considering one chair style costs somewhere between 35-50 gems. Lots of decor costs gems too. The biggest issue I have is that they charge sooooo much and the game is basically on auto pilot. I mean, there are two areas in the game that have said, “changes coming soon” for over a year. When is soon? A decade from now. Honestly, why are people paying money to play this game when there are NO UPDATES EVER. They just recycle challenges, add a couple of items that cost gems for each one, and that’s it. No new foods, no new equipment, no new areas, no new levels. I mean really. What are people paying for?

Extremely frustrated. I really like this and have been playing it for over two years. I noticed probably about four to six months ago that there wasn’t any new decor with one of the cruises. I thought maybe it was because there wasn’t any because I already had the day two and day six prizes. But now there have been at least six or eight cruises since then and on at least two of them I didn’t have the day six prize and even though the task said to earn it by completing day six or you could purchase it in decor.......but I could not...it wasn’t there and that renewed my realization that I haven’t seen new decor for a very long time. I tried un-installing and re-installing and nothing has worked. I tried to reach out through the games contact us but wasn’t able to. Please help!

Wonderful fun game. Money Drain. I like this game and the graphics. Problem is some goals are impossible to achieve without spending gems. Also, bugs don’t get fixed in a timely manner. One issue has been going on for over six months and Storm 8 can’t or won’t get it fixed. Storm 8 is more concerned about creating new events and running them back to back instead of fixing the problems which persist. Not to mention, the event creators are not very creative with recipes. Same event, two recipes the same just different amounts of the same ingredients. With all of the different ingredients available they can’t come up with three different recipes per event? Just tells me S8 is more interested in having you spend gems to win prizes. Very sad and extremely GREEDY!! When issues are reported to customer support, you get a form email stating they don’t support the game any longer and refer you to the game forums. Storm 8 needs to take lessons from other game makers. Have already quit three games for all of the reasons mentioned. When my gems are gone I’ll quit this game too. Storm 8 will have lost a good customer.

I always come back. I have been playing this game regularly for about four years. One of my favorite things is the relaxed pace of the game. Some cooking games will spoil your food if you don’t come back by a certain time. That stresses me! I like a game that is there for me when I’m ready. The main reason I take time off is I get tired of spending months trying to raise enough money through cooking to complete the next task/mission. I don’t usually buy gems so I eventually get bored because I can’t level up or complete missions. Maybe offer some other way to boost or quickly earn money? Still love this game and always come back because it’s addictive and I know my food is still waiting for me to take it off the stove!

Love it but too Expensive. I have both Restaurant Story and Restaurant Story 2 but this one is really too expensive. It's very entertaining and I love it but when my current set of Gems finish, I am deleting the game. Everything costs way too much money. I have bought and played many games and this is the only game where you have to keep buying gems so often to keep playing. I have a lot of gems in other games that last so long because I can play for several days without having to use any but with Reataurant Story 2, you need Gems at almost every step. It just takes the fun away, and unlike other games, they have never had a gem sale... There have been so many complaints about the Glitches when you open up the games but there seem to be no intention of fixing these glitches...... There should be some kind of policy to ensure any problems or glitches have to be corrected within a certain time, this has been happening for a very long time

Good game, but..... I love this game but....1) it takes too long to restock inventory in the stores. 2) it’s too hard to expand until you get at higher levels and 3) when an item in the store gets to 1 minute being ready to purchase, it shouldn’t cost any gems at all. 4) to purchase nice walls and tiles, you have to pay a lot of gems for them instead of coins. I know they want people to purchase gems. But I’m not going to spend any more money on this game because it isn’t worth it. But I do enjoy playing it. I just don’t seem to be getting anywhere. And also, there are way too many task to do at one time. That’s too overwhelming. I hope that you all will work on these conditions and make this game even more enjoyable.

Good game but some things need to be fixed or improved. Good game but a few things need to be fixed or changed. First of all, I hate the notification I get that tells me I have left the stove on when I haven’t played in awhile. I don’t think anyone with anxiety or OCD appreciates that. I also sometimes earn stamps but they don’t appear in my inventory. I receive gems occasionally and have not spent any of them yet they seem to disappear until I have 28 gems again. I have also seen the task icon completely disappear and I have to shut down and restart the game to get it back. When rotating an object, I wish I could rotate it in place even when there isn’t enough room, and THEN I can move it to where there is room. Because there will be a place it will fit once it is rotated but there is no room in its current location when rotated so it won’t let me. Lastly, there are way too many catering events and I wish there was a way to cancel one once you have started one, if you change your mind. Otherwise it is a nice game.

I love it but ..... I've have been playing this game for ages, I enjoying playing everyday, but the cruise ship quest are completely a waste of time. Why do you have to wait if you complete it early. If I finish it early I have to wait until 3pm( my time) for it to start the next one, and can never get the last one, unless I use gems, will probably delete as I'm at level 60 now

Game steals gems. I just bought 250 gems to skip tasks for a quest and the gems are gone but the task is telling me I need to still pay to skip the tasks I just payed money to skip. Can someone fix this for me???? Can I get in contact with help??? There was no help or support contact?! Edit: I contacted support and they refuse to help me or even contact me, saying they refuse to recover any currency in this game.

Addictive. Have been addicted to this game for a few months now - though the cruise ship challenges really are unattainable unless you spend every waking minute on it, and spend stupid amounts of money on gems.

Addictive but frustrating. So many glitches and bugs :( It's a good game and I enjoy playing it but quests stop halfway (even though I still had 9 days) and I couldn't proceed without buying stuff. The pop ups are infuriating, it asks you to download and open other games every day and pops up with adverts of things to buy. It's literally annoyed me to the point I no longer want to play it.

Great game but costs money to gain prizes. Really enjoyable game to play but unfortunately the events like the cruise ship require real money to gain the end reward, which most of the time is a rare recipe you can't acquire through normal gameplay. I've been playing since the game's inception and I've not once had a gem sale or been able to achieve the end reward for an event. I still play to achieve minor goals but once I have achieved those, I will most likely delete the game.

2nd time around. I lost my level 60 progress on a previous device but liked it so much I started again. But too many cruise ships too close together, and too many ingredients needed for each of the new recipes that come with each ship. Otherwise, awesome game.

No support. I would have given 5 star but for the lack of support. It’s almost impossible to submit questions & get responses. I was at level 60, got a new phone & had to start a whole new game because I couldn’t remember my password. Submitted request & never heard back. Now I’m at level 18 & there is a huge glitche that won’t unlock breakfast sandwich, the most basic recipe. So can’t achieve some of the most basic goals. Frustrating to say the least.

Gem & Coin Thieves. Thus game had great promise and I was enjoying playing it...very addictive!! But I’ve now deleted the game as I’m no longer impressed with the fact that I just used 250+ gems to skip a number of quest tasks only to find I can’t complete the last task unless I buy a jubilee oven (which I did) and complete the cruise...which I can no longer do as the cruise has expired unless I use another 1200 gems to buy the leprechaun! This is a joke! Also the game compels you to consume gems to complete all your actions otherwise you’re waiting hours for things to finish and the game is boring!

Great little background game.. I seriously check in with my restaurant three times a day (at least). It's not too hard to save up diamonds and the quests are a mixture of time consuming and achievable, keeping you interested but not frustrated.

Used to be great. This is a really fun game that is pretty addictive. Unfortunately it hasn’t been updated in 2 years which has meant with the advancement of phones, it now struggles to open and play/run properly on the newer ones. Wish it would be updated and developed further so I could go back to playing it.

Lost Progress. On the 10th of January 2019, I lost my progress moving from one iPad to another. I contacted support to be told that it will take 5-7 business days to resolve. It’s now the 25th of January and I’m still waiting for my progress to be restored. I’ve been playing this game since it’s inception. I do all the cruises and special events. I absolutely love the game and played it everyday, until I lost my progress. I have mastered probably 90% of the recipes and was working towards mastering them all. Today another cruise has started. Making it 3 cruises I would have missed out on finishing. I have tried to contact support, to see how the restoration is going and I just get an automated response saying it’ll be 5-7 business days to resolve and in messaging them, my wait time has restarted. This is upsetting as the game I always gave 5 stars too, I now have to resort to only giving 1 star too, in the hope of getting a suitable response from the support team.

More levels needed. Hi, less cruises, more new recipes and much needed more levels which you said were coming soon that was 2 years ago, the gem recipes are the only thing keeping me playing the game

Glitchy but fun. I’d say this game is fairly fun if you’re looking for a mindless task to do in quarantine. It can be fun building up your restaurant and unlocking new items. There’s also an active community that’s on the app who you can communicate with. However, there can be some annoying glitches like not being able to unlock certain recipes which are really annoying. If you need to contact the support team good luck because they aren’t at all helpful. Overall it’s a fun game, but you have to be prepared to look past the glitches.

Impossible to win the cruise. Really disappointed that when I'm trying to cook for a cruise it has a limit to the amount I can get through in 24 hours, making it impossible to actually get ahead and win the cruise challenge. When I've cooked a certain amount for the cruise in one 24 hour period it freezes the frame and says I can't cook any more until the end of the 24 hour period. Rigged.

Facebook down. Disappointing the Facebook login is down. Says the developer is aware. This is a fun way to connect with others and gain rewards and you seem to have no urgency to fix it. Just wanting people to spend money for your half finished product instead I suppose.

Restaurant 2. Please the cruise needs to be less often and shorter we are getting fed up. Please let us move pass the 60 level getting boring not being able to move higher. I wish you would read the reviews. I love the game, but some of the ingredients takes to long to get waiting 6 hours for some of them. Same thing when we expand it cost too much and it takes too long. Every thing is expensive even the chairs and tables. The challenges are fun when you are able to get the ingredient they are sometimes hard to get. Like now getting the cheese. Sometimes you have to cook 2 different recipes on the same stove so that makes it complicated. Hope you will be able to fix the problem!!!!

Too much waiting. This game is great and has been really fun but I find that I’m waiting around most of the time. Waiting for restocked items, waiting days for upgrades, waiting days for appliances to get built etc. It’s too much. The builder also comes in once every million years only to drop the same item every time, it’s getting old and is actually not quite fair to the people who play this game. Please have him maybe drop multiple items at once or come on more often. Please update and fix these issues so it becomes Enjoyable to play once again.

Restocking and Cost. It takes too long to stock some of the ingredients. 8 hours for onion? 5 hours for mayonnaise? Also learning some of the dish takes very much longer than restocking. 24 hours for a pizza that only earns $1000+. Additionally, the costs to buy new things are so expensive. The salad bar is 100k? It's so hard to earn that much when there's cruises coming every week. Lastly, I hate how the cruise ships just forces you to buy gems because it takes more than 24 hours to fill the days order.

Undecided. I wish I can have open and closing hours.. it’s annoying to sleep at night and wake up with empty counters. Even after spending $80-$100 trying to keep up with the food. Bob the builder takes forever to come in for tools also. Need a lot of money to expand and keep up with the food. It’s kind of annoying. I want to quit but spent too much money on gems 😂😂😂 it’s fun just time consuming.

The IDEA is good, but.... The game itself has good ideas, but taking forever just to level up, so you can buy "a table" for the customers??!!... And it's hard to expand to make room... Little things make it hard to play.

Meh. Stopped playing this game for a while. The cruiser were awesome and sometimes gifted you more then 1 diamond, stoves and the recipes had easy ingredients. It was much easier to obtain cool recipes and stoves. Now, each recipe takes 4 hours and is extremely difficult to make and only gives you one diamond. Disappointed, it used to be so fun but now it’s just too difficult. Please change this back to the old times, where it was so much more fun and less hard. PLEASE!

Don’t judge I’m just a kid. So when you’ve waited however long for an ingredient or something cooking, under a minute you can speed it up. I have one idea for this and one problem. My problem is when the time goes under a minute for the market and you speed it up, it doesn’t speed, it just goes around and around in a circle. My idea for this is for level 10, speed for 1 minute, for level 20, speed for 2 minutes, level 30, 3 minutes, level 40, 4 minutes, level 50, 5 minutes, and level 60, 10 minutes. That would help a lot. Especially if u have a busy day. I still want to get my ingredients! Anyway, I hope u consider this. I really do like the game and it keeps me on my toes during this pandemic. I also think there should be a place where you can get materials to expand restaurant and build stuff. Honestly, it takes at least 5 weeks for me to get 10 blueprints. What the heck? Sometimes you don’t even come at the right time for cid to give u stuff. Maybe they could come in the market, or your could trade a blueprint in for 15000 coins. Idk, just wondering. Another thing is make quick serves for ingredient restocks. I have to save gems for other things. I rarely use quick serves. Thanks, hope u consider this. Someone

Mistakenly spent your gems. Played for about 2 weeks and brought about 1000 gems with $100 while there is a sale going on yesterday. But I pressed an upgrade with gem by mistake and consumed 678 gem.. decent game but this game needs a confirm button before spending gem. Frustrated I delete this game. I know this is coming but spending 5-10 gem by mistake is fine but losing about $80 worth of gem by a misclick is stupid

Worst game. Initially it was fun to play. But as you move further in game it makes it impossible for you to play just because it asks for extra stuff and you will never have the stock ready. It ask you to learn or cook something but the stock will be available only if you install another game from the same producer or install something else. Liked it at first but now just hate it.

Why does Apple warn us when iOS updates hinder game play. Good. Love my neighbours, they are wonderful. Wish they bring back dome of table decos. When update my device the game doesn’t load. The company seems to have abandoned this game….especially after years of playing this game. The pic was small before update. Now after update, the movement is backwards, pic too big for screen and the x to close not working.

Scam. This game is a scam. $10 in gems to buy a catering assistant and they only last one event. Everything costs wayyyy too much. I don’t mind dropping money on a game but this ain’t the one.

Meh. This game has constant glitches and ZERO customer support. I tried to submit a ticket only to be told that they’re under staffed and don’t offer support for this game. Gifts from friends don’t work, you never actually receive the gifts you claim. The game constantly reloads itself, causing you to have to repeat actions multiple times. Things dropped by customers never show up in the inventory. It’s non stop issues. Has potential but too many bugs and no support makes it meh at best.

Not made for ipad. When trying to open on ipad the formatting is all wrong. Parts of the game go in Portrait mode and the rest in Landscape mode. Nothing is where it’s supposed to be so you can’t actually click on anything. Please fix this.

Could be better. Why does the cruise ship, Sakura sweetie and fair fare quests take up half the screen on a iPad? It’s ridiculous. They are in the way trying to do anything. They should get off your main screen and be put with the rest of the quests so people can actually cook and play the game without constantly hitting them. Literally the whole right side of my iPad. This is so annoying.

Horrible. The screen doesn’t fit my device so half of the sentence is cut off and not everything is displayed. My device is an iPad. The game is also unresponsive to my touch so I would touch the thing to cook and it wouldn’t work.

Like the artwork changes. Stopped playing for a year. Loved it but it was addicting and frustrating when having to wait for groceries to restock. So many cruises and the way they would have items needing to be cooked on the same stove. The difference in the way the calculation is done as you get on the last couple of days of cruise verses the beginning of the cruise. Decided to try again. Love what you have done with the pictures of ingredients and menu items. Far better than looking at blank space and trying to figure out what it is. I will try for a bit, but if I run into same issues, will probably go on hiatus again.

Disappointed. I’m really disappointed in this game. It was fun for the first 15 levels, but when I try to expand so that I can open the garden and the street market, it won’t let me because I have to wait on a construction guy to give me wooden boards. I’ve been waiting on them for weeks! The game is at a stand-still and gets very very boring. I’m not going to spend my money on an iPhone game just to buy gems to expand a virtual restaurant when I know it’s just going to happen again in the future and I’ll be stuck buying even more. The money trap in this game makes the game annoying and I will be deleting it.

I love this game. I hate the fact it’s 2023 and it hasn’t been upgraded yet nor have they changed these extremely long wait times for the food need ! Why isn’t the longest wait time 30 mins even an 1 hour is okay but 3 hours nd more like seriously ! This needs to be updated and expeditiously done. Need a little improvement. Love the game but...it shouldn't take so,long to obtain certain dishes (the current quest for example 35 churro dogs for mastered status I need 3 sugars to make them that take 2 hours to respawn). I work I can't dedicate 24 hours a day trying to complete the task that are extremely hard to obtain. The cruise ship I've given up on it's not practical. It takes 6 hours for some recipes but I'm racing the clock but the deck is stacked against me. Can we keep some of the recipes that we have to make to obtain our goals. And lastly...where is the CHOCOLATE? There's no way a Resturant doesn't have chocolate..improve to get 5

Wow..... I put some time into playing this, and when I just now tried to bring up the app, all my stuff is gone. Wiped. This happened to me in the Bakery game too. I was level 45 with over 50 gems saved-all gone. Back to level 1 with starter quests, it wanted me to create an id but I had already created one...I even connected it to my Facebook...I don't understand...also, I submitted TWO tickets but was only contacted to be told my tickets were closed. If two of their games can be like this, it makes me not interested in downloading any of the other ones they have. Storm8 does NOT care about its players, that much has been made clear.

10 dollars down the drain. I cringed at the thought of purchasing $10 worth of gems but the amount you get from just playing the game seems to be very little. I purchased the 120 gems used around 20+ and then was going to be frugal with the other 100 haha while I built up on it with the free gems you earn from the game. I logged in last night and played and realized that I only had 4 gems left! I don’t know if I accidentally clicked something or there was a glitch in the game but I’m looking to speak to someone to either get a refund or just the 100 gems back

Many Bugs in the game. At first, this game was so much fun to play! I thought that it was a fun game with all of the recipes. Now, i don’t know why it costs so much to expand so little. Also, I just spent almost all of my coins and gems on a new stove and the campfire stove. What makes me the most mad is that whenever I click on the campfire stove, it has no recipes. I keep on thinking maybe i just need to level up, but i have had it for 2 weeks now and it still has no recipes on the stove. I just wish they could fix this. Also, for about a month now my screen has been glitching where all of the pop-ups are in the middle of the screen. Needs to be fixed!

Great. I really love this game I would have given 5 stars but I just sincerely wish this game were made to be easier for people without a lot of money to play... not everyone can afford to drop even a dollar on gems and when you’re rewarded with gems for completing achievements they really skimp out on you giving only 1 as a reward for playing for hours and hours it just isn’t really designed fairly for everyone I love this game a lot despite that fact But nobody I know will play with me because of that fact as well 😒

This game is SO fun!. I am picky about restaurant games. It's been years since I enjoyed one this much. I've played daily for 3 months now and it continues to entertain. RS2 offers just the right amount of challenges and quests to keep things fun and engaging. The only thing I would change is to offer more decor items that don't require in-app purchases. But overall, there are enough options to allow a decent amount of personalization and creativity. Definitely recommend this game!

Fun and addicting game. I have been playing Restaurant Story 2 for a few years. It’s extremely fun and addicting until you get to level 60 and continue to play waiting 2 years for an update with no hope as other games by Storm 8 are getting updated and you think “Maybe this time the update will be for this game” the cruise challenges are extremely hard to complete on time unless you play it non stop and don’t sleep or eat on the last day to complete it. I loved this game so much but it’s time to find a game that has updates.

I wish there were more items to buy with cash, the diamonds are impossible to get. what market do you buy the Roasted marshmallows , the price is too high and right now only being offered when you are in the middle of making the food not at one of the stores. Oh, you have to use the diamonds and can't use coin which we all have more of. The cruise challenges require you make to many of the same dish, there is no way unless you are on the sight night and day. Thank you hearing our comments

Rest 2. This is a great game! I just you game makers understand that in real life, we game players have responsibilities. Some players are older and have to stop playing because most of the groceries we have to wait on. Like the steak, we have to wait 2 hours; and that's the one we need the most. I am sure a lot of people go to other games that's less frustrating. Well, it's still a good game.

Find one with better programmers. Do not go here. While the game is fun, the customer service is super bad. When the game glitched and ignored all my progress after a week long game within the game the response was basically, “well, you cut it to close. You should have finished before then because of game glitches. That way you can be sure your progress is saved correctly.” So, basically, do not expect us to have programmed the game to work as told. Play the game like we cannot do our jobs, then you will be fine. Go find a game where the programmers have actually made the game work as it is supposed to and save yourself grief on the front.

it needs a lot of work. I hate when I open the game I have to go through 6 forced quest pop ups, recently my food DOESNT finish- it’s stuck on the same time cooking for days or weeks, I don’t like how much it takes to get your store bigger and “better”- there’s too much requirement items that I never get or never get enough of. It needs fixing and I can’t play this anymore because it’s just wasting space on my phone if it doesn’t work. I love these story games, I’ve played since I was a kid…

Give us free gems, and make ship tasks easier. I have been playing this game for 5 years now, and I reached level 60 which happens to be the max because I’ve been in level 60 for two years now, when will you allow us to reach level 80????? And why is this game getting boring ??? Add more features, and please adjust the glitches, also the ship tasks are sooo hard, I have never won and I’m not going to buy gems just to rush everything, and earning gems is hard next to rare, you have to be a bit easy on us for us to play often, please fix this issue, I am a huge fan, and I hate to see this game go to my deleted items

Like BUT. I really do like this game, but it is EXTREMELY annoying. The prices are way too high. You can't do anything. I have to wait a day or two to make enough money to make one thing, and as the levels increase I have to wait longer. I'm not sure why you guys did it this way but it is horrible. I like Bakery Story 2 because it's better. The prices for everything stays the same, but for restaurant story the prices increase on everything. Please fix this huge bug or I have to delete this game!!!!. Used to love to play this game, I participate every event, I purchase gems and coins, decorate and take really good care of my restaurant. BUT!!!! From yesterday I found that the customer does not come to my restaurant when I didn't launch the app, so all my food is remaining there that no one would eat it unless I turn on the app, so the only way to let them eat the dishes is I turned on the app for the whole night while I'm sleeping and charging the phone... Can you please fix this bug ASAP pleaseeeee!!!!!! I don't want to delete this app and quit playing, please don't force me to do that😫😫😫

No ingredients. The game is super fun until you get to about level 12 (which doesn’t take long) and then all the recipes that make bigger amounts of food use ingredients that take HOURS to wait for. I can only ever make little recipes because they require basic ingredients and I feel like I’m waiting for ingredients to restock more than I’m actually using them. So unless you buy gems to skip the wait it’s super hard to get the all ingredients. Also it’s so dumb that to expand your restaurant you need to sit there and wait for a construction worker to come in and leave parts. It must be harder for players who set the food to cook and leave the app.

Impossible to get free gems or finish ship quests. This game is really fun but it requires an unnecessary amount of attention. The ship quests are fun at first and I am usually able to complete the first few days, but as it gets toward the end it is literally impossible to complete it unless you are literally setting alarms for every single meal so you can deliver them in time or spending gems to speed them up. Another problem is getting free gems. I keep trying to do the surveys and things that are supposed to give me free gems, but every time I come back to the game, I don’t even get paid my gems. So I have to pay for gems with real money which is ridiculously expensive.

I always come back to this game. I really love this game. I have uninstalled, but reinstalled it multiple times. I can never find anything wrong with games, but for this one... I wish there was a way to sell our items instead of throwing them out, so the player gets more money. If there is already a feature like that, I'm on level 23, and I wish it came earlier. It takes a long time to get enough money to learn new recipes, and expand the restaurant.

Restaurant story 2. I like the game a lot but what I don’t get is that everything is restricted if you want to improve anything in your kitchen , the waiting for seafood to be available once you buy from the store same with vegetables then you have the task to complete in 10 days but they block you to continue for several hours like right now the task is using the meat on all the stoves to cook it in different ways it take a long time to get all the ingredients ready so far I haven’t being able to complete those tasks .

Awful Customer Service. I never ever write reviews, but I am here to say that Storm8 has the WORST customer service. Wanna know why? They don’t HAVE any support options available. They have closed their email option, their Twitter is no longer in use, and the only way of “getting support” is going to a forum where other players can figure things out on their own. As for gameplay, NONE of the special seasonal characters show up in my shop, and yet I am expected to finish quests? How is that possible? I still love the design and interface of the game, but there are so many glitches that I am feeling more and more angry with Storm8.

Annoying. I used to LOVE this game, and was excited about the cruise challenges (CC). But the time limit to complete the CC are ridiculous!! And I've noticed the closer you get to completing the higher levels on the CC, you need double or triple the amount of recipes it took to complete the first two levels. It's not consistent! I know it's supposed to be a challenge, but it's almost impossible to complete without spending real money and that's something I'll never do. I'll just eventually uninstall the game, because they're too many other "time wasting" games out there that are not so annoying these days.

I've been playing for awhile!. It keeps me company when I'm waiting in lines. It's a great app to use and have enjoyed it. Can't afford to spend much so it takes me a long time. I'm with the other review.... Don't like the caterers or the shipping orders, don't even have a chance to finish it. I would like more ovens to buy with coins and maps and tools to expand. Expand color choices with coins because I have been playing for months. Thx for improving it!

4.5 Stars. RS is a pretty awesome game. It's challenging and easy at the same time... Or something like that. However, no game is perfect, and here are a couple mild complaints. First, to start the game, the restaurant is way too small. I can barely fit 8 places for people to sit, and I expanded my place. Next, you can get new counters and tables, but way too slowly. I have a hard time trying to complete challenges for the one reason that I have to wait for the NPC customers to finish a dish. Finally, it takes forever for food to go in stalk at the butcher's shop. A whole hour for a couple ingredients! Despite it's faults, RS is my favorite Storm8 game. You earn money super fast, and I love how you don't have to buy a different style wall for every panel you want to be changed. You just buy it ones, and tap on the panels on the wall, tiles on the floor, or tables/ chairs you want painted. Great game, definitely worth downloading!

Money hungry. It’s ok, but why do we have to spend so much money? I’m trying to not spend money, but to save up for the deli station, I had to play 24/7 to get the 60,000 coins. Soon after that, I have to now save 95,000 coins to buy commercial oven, and the recipes cost even more to make. It’s obvious that the developer wants us to waste money. Also, why does it stop at level 60 when it stopped at level 99 in the other restaurant story? A final problem is that the game hasn’t been updated in 2 years. Before, you would be able to watch a video to get gems, and it’s gone now. Why? Why can’t the developer update the game? There’s many problems with this game.

😁. Although I enjoy this game it takes too long to earn coins to buy new appliances and recipes. Either the cost of these things need to be lowered or money needs to be made more quickly. I've played this game regularly trying to earn enough money for appliances and it literally take me WEEKS. It's also impossible to expand your restaurant in a responsible time period. The "tools" you revive are completely random and I've been waiting over a month to collect enough blueprints to expand. Overall the game is enjoyable it just takes too long for a regular, daily player to earn coins and expand.

I no longer love the game. I no longer love the game. Finally their lack custom service has driven my joy to I now don’t even care I play if I feel like it their weekly quest are no longer mandatory. I've been trying for a long time to recover another game with no success. Hence I refuse to play any new thing I see from them. The game is all about real money. Now the new quest 14 hours to wait to proceed along with the long wait of some item and I'm only half way through I'm done. Unfortunately, Im addicted, 😪 I really like the game.I agree the ads being thrown down my throat is annoying and all the work they want you to do for your friends with no real reward, not worth the effort.

So addictive!!. Been playing continuously for over 4yrs :) would love to have some door options, like a gate style for when I have outdoor walls, or something like a skull for Halloween. Maybe mini quests that help get the cruise decor for floors, walls, counters, etc.. before the stamps replaced prizes. Would also love these theme cruises: water slide park, roller coaster park, skate park, a zoo, the Grimm stories (Goldielocks, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel &Gretel (maybe get a huge oven w that one ;)... Of course the princess classics: Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty... the Alice and Wonderland one is prob one of my faves so far :)

NOT ENOUGH AVAILABLE CHAIRS. Ok I know this isn't a huge issue but for the first levels of game you can only have as many chairs as the level you're on; ex. Level 8 you can have 8 chairs and level 2 you can have 2 chairs. I send quite a few customers away because it won't let me have enough chairs. And the worst part is; you can't fix this with real money, so there is nothing in it for the game makers and I honestly don't know why they did that. Anyway if you have read this far which I doubt you have there is no bug as of November 2016 so it was fixed. Great game other than that.

Too much money and ingredients take too long !. This game is the best and i love it , but some things in this game get me frustrated and it's jus the little things. If i want to expand or get some decorations , it cost gems or a whole a lot of coins ! Plus the guy who gives out the tools and things barely gives out planks ! Which what I need , I don't know about anybody else. Also if i wanted to make a meal , I see that it'll take a whole lot of time to wait to get them , which needs to change because I would love to cook more, please change this 😩 !

It’s not as fun. Although enjoy the old restaurant story, I decided to try Restaurant Story 2. I love the characters are more 3D and the space has changed but the game itself is a bit boring. There’s a lot of things that limits the user like collecting tools in order to repair certain things takes forever. We should be able to request materials from our neighbors like the other restaurant story game. Also, collecting herbs like ginger is tough and hard to make spices. Even decorations cost a lot of money which we don’t make that much. Most stuff requires gems which you either have to collect over a long period or buy. This game isn’t that fun.

Socially Acceptable. The game is great, I enjoy playing it all day long and continue to log on to keep my business afloat. However, I agree the in game things worth coins are way too expensive. It took me two weeks to get 65K and then I had to buy the deli station which knocked me back down to practically poor. Another thing, mainly a minor issue, I think you should open the ability to choose the gender of your Chefs. Mine we automatically put as all women which is pretty sexist to say the least, but itd just be nice to at least be able to chose a name and a gender for the first and main chef.

Tried not to buy gems.... But I did. I am at the the final leg of the cruise and bought 120 gems and thought that would be enough! Unfortunately the recipes that came after that all needed 3 of an item or 10 of the same. I refuse to buy more just to finish. I was also frustrated when trying to open the seafood shop. I had to get to a certain level and next needed to expand, which took a day plus the money I had to earn to get to that point. After expanding I wait another day for the shop to be built.....will I continue not sure...at least I’m only out 3.99!

Very Fun But Some Annoyances. Overall I am loving this game. I love, love, LOVE that my cooked food doesn't spoil if it sits too long, so I can play at my own speed without worry or stress. Some of the wait times for ingredients to restock are kinda ridiculous, especially when you need more than the store sells at one time and your pantry holds such a small amount of food. At least at level 17 anyway. My only true complaint, and the reason for 4 stars, are the constant ads for other Storm8 games.

Glitch. I absolutely LOVE this game, but recently when I have been playing the game on my iPad, pop-ups and 24 hour quests are in the middle of the screen. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading it, refreshing the app, and restarting my iPad but nothing seems to be working. Other than this small detail, the rest of the game is exceptional! This game is very addictive and I enjoy learning new recipes and customizing my restaurant. I highly recommend it.

My go to game. I really enjoy playing this game. It's one that I can play that doesn't have me racing to beat someone else or a computer, it also is great to pass time. The one big issue I do have is the glitches I have every single time I play. I have lost dishes I've made to the little helping hands and gems. It would be nice if this didn't happen. I also think the boat challenges are way to hard and almost impossible to achieve unless you have lots of currency. Other than these things I'd recommend anyone to play.

Getting ready to delete. At first I really liked it I’ve played other restaurant apps before. However when u are collecting things for a timed event if you are making too much progress they lock it to make sure you don’t complete it on time! It has a lot of nice additions like having to collect the food from different shops however there are a lot of things that only unlock by money like the vegetable garden they show. You may or may not get all the parts there’s no challenge to unlock it or use coins. And the recipes that you do have access to are extremely limited. The only way to play this game is if you spend lots of real money.

Prices too high!!💰. So, i absolutely love the game to the point where sometimes if I'm not watching time I get very addicted. But I got 1 BIG problem, PRICES!!💰💰 it's too high, i personally like most of the decorations and tables and chairs etc. but they cost so many gems! I am not about to spend all my money on games and buying stuff just so my place looks good. I want to buy it but please could you guys change most of the stuff back to actual money that we earn instead, and may it not be that expensive. Thx

Impossible to finish events. I really like the game and I play it every single day. However, it’s very frustrating that I can never finish any of the events. I start off great, but as the days move on, it gets harder and harder to get points; even doing the 4 star dishes the bar barely moves. I have been playing for a few years now and have never been able to finish an event. I guess they want you to spend real money buying jems because that is the only way to finish, by speeding things up with jems. But I refuse to being forced to to so.

It’s gotten worse. I redownloaded this game after not playing for a few years. I swear the fish boat and circus signs were still there all that time ago saying “coming soon!”. You can’t watch videos for gems anymore and the app hasn’t gotten any updates for 3 years?? The first few levels are fun but I can see it getting boring pretty quickly without any new events or easy ways to get gems. The fiesta stove itself would cost almost $90! As far as I can tell it only has one recipe! It feels like a game that’s gotten abandoned by developers and just sits around to rack in as revenue :(

Restaurant story 2. I love the game because the products don’t expire but if i am going to have to make the boat recipes and they call for stuff grown in the herb garden i would like to be able to get them in the street market. This time the main recipe calls for 8 vanilla i think i have made one maybe two the garden never gives me what i want. Or if I can’t buy from market then i should be able to pick what i want to grow. It’s very frustrating trying to get the ingredients.

SO MANY GLITCHES. I love this game. It's great for when I need to pass time. But every single time, literally every time, I'm playing the game and it glitches. It's quite annoying and sometimes it causes problems like lowing gems and coins. It corrects it for the most part but sometimes it doesn't fix itself. I've never had a game that glitches so much. My friends who also play the game are also experiencing these glitches. It's ridiculous. Other than the glitches the game is great and I'll continue to play hoping another update (whenever that may be) will fix the issues at hand.

Game has gone downhill. I used to love this game as well as Bakery Story 2. But Storm 8 hasn’t updated either in at least 2 years. No new recipes or kitchen appliances. The cruises in RS always have the same food. I’ve been at lvl 60 for over a year so I’m pretty sure that’s the farthest you can go. The little food truck always says something exciting is coming soon, but it never comes. Neither does that wrecked ship. And now when I try to expand the restaurant the game says I can’t until I reach lvl 80 which I’m convinced the game doesn’t go that far. And forget about customer service or forums because they NEVER answer. There’s really no point in even playing anymore which is unfortunate because I loved this game.

Cute but needs work. I love the graphics and love cooking games but.......take a long time for items to be available in the market place. If you are going to do that then shorten the cooking times. It’s ridiculous. All the install notifications we should be able to shut off. They are listed at the top of the tastes list so new tasks get missed because it’s clogged with game installs. I shouldn’t have to install a game play it to level 12 just to delete it from the task list. As said, a cute game but without more work on it looks like I game I would be deleting.

Great game. I used to play restaurant and bakery story the first ones, i loved the game. i thought i would really like this also hoping since it was 2 it wouldn’t have that many bugs. i was so wrong!! gems, literally all my food and money just disappear. why does everything get more expensive as you buy it? why are there so many task, and how i can literally just done something like expanding get a task for expanding and not just credit for it. Definitely love the cook and waitresses the first didn’t have those!!

Restaurant Story 2. This game is good, clean fun but there is not much else to it. You cook, you earn coins, you expand your restaurant, you buy appliances and decor, you shop at various grocery stores, you visit other restaurants to earn small amount of coins--very repetitive. They are very stingy with their gems. And while there have been various events in this game, I have never been able to complete a single one. You can always spend real money to complete an event but the prizes aren't worth it. In short, it's a cute game but very repetitive and boring. They need to liven things up with better, more achievable prizes

Great app. I enjoy playing this game. I think a good upgrade to the game would be once you finish cooking all the main recipes the appliances you can upgrade them. For example I’m finished cook all the recipes on the Diner stove so now I should be able to upgrade them like I do with the General Store or Veggie Markets. The upgrade cause for more ingredients and maybe some new ingredients. And you upgrade each appliance. Just a suggestion to make thing more interesting and longer to play.

Fun but frustrating. Like other reviewers have stated, it costs WAY too many gems to do anything. The longer goals with time limits are pretty much impossible to complete without spending money. I know because I have a newborn so I spent a lot of time around the clock working towards the goal, while feeding my baby. After a week working towards one large goal, I still ran out of time. Also, far too many pop-ups. Every time I would go into the game I would have 4-8 pop-up ads or reminders to close before I could play. I don't mind one or two but this just has too many. I finally grew weary and stopped playing.

Issues about this game. This Game was fun in all. Like I was saying the game was fun but after playing you seem to have to spend gems to speed up the time. I also experience the game to become boring I had to sit there for a while to wait till my food finished. And so when I quit and come back then I serve my food. After I serve my food I leave and then it is too long I do have another food cook and then it goes bad I’ll play a little bit when I get bored so I don’t wait for me and then my food is gone bad. I personally think they could add updates to this game and make it better that is my opinion but yeah.
