MPLS Parking Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

From Fine to Obnoxious. Will it recognize this parking space? Will it remember my account? Will it let me use Apple Pay or force me to enter in my credit card AGAIN? Will it connect at all? Who knows! It seems to be different every single time I use the app. Not sure what happened since the big update, but I’ll happily give back the refreshed UI in exchange for the functionality of the old app. Don’t be fooled by the almost 5 star average rating; the current version of the app is inconsistent and frequently useless. I’ve had to just get out and use the pay machine several times because this app fails for one reason or another. Not sure what happened since the big update, but I’ll happily give back the refreshed UI in exchange for the functionality of the old app.

A major downgrade from the previous service. I have no idea why Minneapolis switched from their old fantastic app to this one. It’s slow, sluggish, buggy, makes you sign in every time, and doesn’t do a great job of keeping your information. On top of that, if they push an update, you’re back to square one. Password reset requests take forever to get to you, long enough that you think they haven’t been sent, so you request a new one and the original is no longer valid. This app is just trash.

Great App. I love this app. It works perfectly. I had to laugh at the reviewer who gave it one star because he couldn't remember his own password. I would give the reviewer one star, but I wouldn't blame the app. Then there was the reviewer who complained because there is a $0.25 charge per transaction. If it's too expensive, don't use it, but that doesn't make it a bad app. This app provides a service you cannot get by paying at the meter. You do not need to return to the meter to add more time. Very nice if you've gone to dinner and underestimated how long it would take. Just add 15 or 30 minutes with a few clicks while seated at dinner. Tell me that isn't worth $0.25.

Efficient!. When I was initially told about the app several years ago, I didn’t think I’d use it much. Was I wrong! It’s so easy & convenient to use & so much better to be able to set duration & pay for my car.

Don't forget your password. It works great until you forget your password. If so, you are up the creek. I've tried everything and can't get help from the vendor at all. I can't register with a different mail account because it only allows one account per phone number. The app has some serious bugs that need to be resolved for forgot password function by text using the mobile phone number and the reset by email function. I've emailed their support address and I guess my message goes into a black zen desk hole. Customer service is an F.

Convenient, Easy-to-Use. Highly recommend getting this app if you have to park anywhere in downtown. Has a nice map showing all the parking meters INCLUDING PRICES and you can easily renew straight from the phone instead of going out to find a machine. Gives prompt notifications if the payment is about to expire, and is an overall seamless experience.

Plz hire new UX designer. It looks like someone redesigned the most important functionality of this utility app and it’s worse than the last version. The dial thing is NOT helpful. Why would you allow users to pay for hours that are outside of the start-end time listed in the app? City trying to make money? The spot says starts at 8am, trying to pay ahead at 7am and it won’t let me change the start time in the app. 😡 wants to charge me for a free hour. Also entering and finding the spot was a lot easier before this update.

This is not better as a whole. This new version is a mess, aside from now knowing I’m in Minneapolis instead of asking me which city I’m in and a better interface for selecting how long I want to park at a meter. The previous version put a countdown timer on my Lock Screen. I didn’t have to login every time I opened the app. Receipts were automatically emailed to me. These are just three of the biggest pains/misses with the new app. Also, you have/had my email address. Where was the communication that a new experience was coming out and I would need to completely set up my account all over again? Please do better.

Very stable now. Latest version is stable - great job on the latest improvements. I haven’t seen any of the sign out issues from previous versions. I’m giving it 4 stars for the utility it provides, mainly the timer and the ability to add time remotely. Still not a fan of getting 3 separate emails from them every time I park, and the transaction fees feel exorbitant when you just need to stop somewhere for 15 minutes. Using the app is not that much faster than paying a meter, unless there’s a line at the meter.

Oy. The prior version of this app was wonderful. It was really intuitive and functional. The new version is a disaster. No. It aspires to be a disaster. I can’t get it to ID the parking spot number that starts the process. I’ve deleted the app and reloaded it, spent time on help, prayed to the parking gods and nothing happened. Don’t try to change your default vehicle. That’s expressly forbidden by the app. I’m now back to parking, finding change and fuming at the developers that couldn’t leave well enough alone, test what they did or provide just a little support for us worthless users. But, the icing on the cake is that this is the only app that the city offers. Yay Minneapolis. Yay developers. Please give me a human to help me with this. I promise not to yell no matter how much I want to.

So easy to use. When I pull up and park anywhere in Minneapolis, it literally takes seconds to pay for parking with this app. And the reminders that parking will expire have definitely saved me a parking ticket or two - as it’s easy to add more time without running back to the car. Ease and peace of mind. Thank you for creating this App!

New UI is nice, but…. My payments would not go through— not on the app nor the manual pay station. Keep getting the “unable to process” message followed by a message saying their system is down. Thought it might be rejecting my card… until I checked my recent transactions and found SEVERAL charges for each attempt I made to get my payment to process. A $4 parking session ended up costing me about $20 or so. I’ve talked to people who were “scammed” out of even more! The new UI is great, but definitely not worth the bugs or repeated charges.

Terrible app. It is very poorly designed with the most important details like the number of the spot and amount to be paid made as obscure as possible while there is a giant unnecessary map in the main screen. Just make a simple useful app that people with reading difficulties can read fine. I hate clicking through numerous menus in small font while sitting in the car for 5 minutes. Learn to design a good app from apple and do not include that many useless information on the page. I need to only be able to type the number of the spot and the duration. That is all! How difficult does it need to be?

It works! Just give it 20 seconds to locate you. Parking app works OK. I saved both our cars in my profile. Select the car you are parking, enter the parking spot ID number, and then set time. You can add time later while your car is parked.

Parking. Paying for parking through the app is very easy and convenient. Was running late for our reservation so I paid for parking while walking to the restaurant. Our meal took longer to eat than I had paid for so I opened the app, extended my parking time and was good to go. Overall paid parking experience made easy.

No Response from Support/Pymt Methods failing. I have loved this app. Used it for three years. No problems. As of Aug 15th my saved payment method don’t default in. I add in PayPal. Next day I can’t use PayPal. Only way I can pay is to delete the payment method so it can be added at the time I am parking. Very annoying! I send in a support ticket in Aug 16th. Heard nothing. No updates are available. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. Tired of the app. Whatever was added in the latest release needs to be fixed ASAP. It’s now been a half of a month. No fix. TERRIBLE!!! Can I give a negative rating?

No more running out to plug the meter!. This app rocks my world. No more quarters, no more searching for the pay station, and no more running to plug the meter. This app reminds you when your time is almost up; you can add time remotely. It even helps you find your car at the end of the night. Love!

The Revised App is Beautiful. Excellent improvements have been made to the interface, which is good because switching from the ParkMobile account was a bit of a pain. I’m happy to say it was worth it, with thoughtful little features like dialing in the time that you want to park and a far more functional map. I always know where I am in the app and exactly what I’m doing. ParkMobile could take a lesson on user-focused design here.

New update awful!. Not only can I not access my account but I just spent 15min trying to pay and have it keep responding with payment failed. The old app was perfectly fine. This one is a waste of time. I tried my phone number and it’s linked to my Apple ID so the password reset gets sent to some weirdo email I don’t have access too. But I can’t open a new account because it wants a phone number. So what good is an app you can’t even get into.

New Update is really bad. Overall, the updated app does not work as well as it did before. Now you can’t select the exact amount of time you want to park- it makes you pay by the hour after the first 2 hours usually. Not to mention, the event rates are constantly at the wrong times or longer than it states therefore charging people more than it should. Also, the times for the paid parking often are wrong and do not match the posted times on the meter sticks/street signs.

Works well when it works. The app works well when it works. That said, the new version has one of the best examples of how not to design a user interface I’ve seen in a while. Options that force more decisions than are necessary, excessive prompting, and functions that invariably have issues if the server response is not *just* right. Also, your parking history and expiration notifications may or may not work (hint, local timer/alerts guys, not server push).

Trouble Adding Payment Methods. I generally enjoy using this app but for the last 2 months or so it has become unusable for me. It prompts me to add a payment method even though I have 3 payment methods already stored. If I do try to add another method, it only allows me to add the types I don’t already have in use. They aren’t in use bc I don’t use them (Visa Pass and Master Pass). Bc I can’t pay via the app, I can’t use the app, which makes it unusable.

Mostly great. This app is a huge convenience for anyone who parks in mpls pay zones, but has a few bugs that have existed for a little too long. I’ve seen the first mentioned in other reviews - once every few days the app will crash and sign me out, which is not a huge deal, but will also forget all of my saved cars, payment information and favorited parking zones. The only fix I have found is a hard reset of the device. The app also shows every parking zone at the same location on the map (somewhere around Washington and 3rd downtown), meaning that the “Find My Car” option always leads the user to that location. For me not a problem, but for a first time user this could be intensely frustrating.

Sometimes app works sometimes it doesn’t. This app is super inconsistent. Sometimes it’s easy to pull up, enter my meter, and click pay. Other times it won’t accept my login credentials, doesn’t recognize the city I’m in (Minneapolis), makes me reset my password, and none of my information has saved so i essentially have to set up a new account. That means 10 minutes of fussing with the app when I’m trying to be someplace. As of this writing, when I enter the meter number nothing happens. Zero options. Please fix this app so that it works consistently. This latest update is 0 for 6 this week.

Old app was better. This app looks nicer but is more difficult to navigate. User interface is rather clunky; transfers to several different windows before you can submit parking. Bigger issue: tried to contact support using the email function in the app - rec’d error message that email was not set up (must be the app and not mine since my email is absolutely included on my account). I’ve been unable to use this app when parking at Minnehaha specifically. It’s not worked since the app was updated. Not to mention the price is 2x as much at the parking meter ($1/hr- app, $2 - meter) and there is no option for incremental increases in time (usually option to increase time by 30 min., etc.). Overall very disappointed with the new app.

Make locations findable. The app is decent. The new release is better than the old one. But you need to do ONE THING, and one thing only. Catalog the parking spots and make them findable in the app for when I get to my desk and have forgotten what spot I parked in but know it was the second one from the intersection on the east side of the street. PLEASE. Also give me the ability to find open parking spaces using the app.

Perfect during bad weather. This is Minneapolis. It snows. It rains. It gets very cold. Who wants to walk down to the street-side payment machine (if you can find it) and stand in the rain or snow or cold while navigating a menu with your gloves on? Or, worse yet, wait until the person in front of you at the payment machine figures out how to use it? This easy-to-use app lets me just pull into a parking space, stay in my warm & dry car, bring up the app, enter the space number and length of time I want to park there, and start it. What could be easier? And if I run over the scheduled time period, it texts me a warning and I can extend the period right from the app - wherever I am. No need to go back to the car. If I forgot where I parked, it even shows me on a map! If a 25 cent transaction fee scares you away, don’t bother with the app. But it’s a trivial charge to save time and stay warm and dry for me.

Abcdefg. Hi! First off I love the app! It’s incredibly useful and convenient during the winter, when you’re enjoying your meal and the timer runs out, and so on. With all that being said not a fan at all of the new update! Was not easy to navigate at all! Had no idea the update had happened, had to renter all my information, could not understand where to put in the parking information. I had to keep clicking little circles until I realized I could put in the zone. I really loved how it was previously! Simple, easy to navigate, very straightforward! Please take the dial thing away! My parking spot is for 4 hours, it only allowed me to pay for 2 hours. I hope it can be improved!

Useful but maddening. This app is super useful to pay for parking in Minneapolis. It will also log out every time you use it. There is a “keep me logged in” box. Don’t trust it. It is only heart break. It will even forget who you are, that you existed, and Gawd knows what happened to the payment type you saved within the app. They also don’t take ApplePay but will tease you of it’s existence. I’m so mad at this app, after I post this review, Im writing my city council person.

Poor design. Once I get it installed, it wants me to put in my credit card information. That’s great. It doesn’t like the way I entered it so I had to re-enter it, and it kept giving me red. The keyboard on my phone hides the reason why it won’t let me re-enter. Finally get all that stuff taken care of enter in my car license plate and try to pay for the parking and then it asks if I want to use Apple Pay. why not offer Apple Pay in the beginning instead of insisting I enter a credit card before I can do anything?

App Revamp is a flop. My existing account was apparently completely deleted during the “upgrade” with no warning. Reset password sends nothing at all and I was able to make a new account with the same email. UX is super confusing and cumbersome. Setting parking time is on a huge wheel that’s hard to read and lets the user select longer than the maximum parking time of a spot for some reason. Just bad. I’ll go back to walking to the pay station instead of paying extra to be subjected to this app, yikes.

New MPLS parking app. Extremely difficult to to use. All data from previous version was not carried over. Plus no easy way to update the new app. And no early notification of change until the need to park and then the new app is impossible to set up in time. The previous app worked much better and easily.

App hasn’t worked for about a year. When I first got this app it was awful. You’d type in the parking spot, and it would tell you your car was in a spot miles away from you. That issue has since been fixed; however, you can’t even use the pay feature on the app because it’s been “temporarily disabled”, but it has been for over a year, making this app pointless. With all the money the city is brining in by taking away the free student housing street parking they should be able to fix it. Do better.

Parking downtown. I love having the option to fill my meter via phone, rather than running outside to put more money in. I also like seeing a real time counter of how much time I have left. Very awesome app! I also live in Minneapolis and am a frequent meter parker, so this app is very necessary for a city person like me.

Constant Sign-outs. This app used to be pretty great, it even used the live activity to show how much time I had left for my parking session. However, after the update, it constantly signs me out and no longer notifies me about my parking sessions due to the sign-outs. I believe me issue may lie with issues using Sign-in with Apple. Please fix this, because it’s frustrating to not be notified about my sessions with a push notification. I shouldn’t have to login every time I leave and reopen the app.

Never fumble at a meter station again. Essential app if you park a car in Minneapolis. Type in the meter number from inside your car, avoiding that dismal experience when you're stuck behind someone who can't operate the meter station. Get warnings when your meter is about to expire, extend time on the same meter. Well worth the 25¢ per use fee.

New update is garbage. Previous app version would save previous parking spots for quick access, this version does not and you have to rre-search what spot you’re in even if you were just there the day before. The new version gives the user an option to save their credit card info, the last 5 times I’ve used the app, I’ve clicked the button to save my info. My info has never saved. I don’t know why they bothered with this update, it wasn’t done! Very disappointed and honestly disgusted. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Please fix this app. This app is great when it actually works, which lately is so seldom. The log in screen not working is a problem. Getting logged out randomly is a problem. Valid zones not showing up when entered is really a problem. Favorited zones being deleted is very annoying as well. Too many error messages, zones not found, and login issues. When it works, it’s great, like I said. But please update and fix all this. I just really need to park my car and add time when at work without having to leave pots on the stove unattended. That’s all I ask.

Useful, however.... TERRIBLE BATTERY PERFORMANCE. I used this app recently and it is improved user experience from previous versions, however after I paid for my parking spot, I noticed my phone battery was drastically dying! Like losing 5% per minute (not great when you’re out, already low battery, and need your phone)... I know it is this app’s fault because I first closed all my other apps and saw no change. Once I closed the mpls parking app from running in background though, suddenly my phone was back to holding a charge like normal. LAME... now I can’t see the countdown or extend time because I’m at 5% battery life and not risking it! I hope the developers see this and can figure out how to stop the app from using so much battery! Clearly something is constantly refreshing or something... The product team needs a better QA team to catch stuff like this, so the users don’t lose battery due to app performance.

Worst App I’ve ever used. The new updates are total garbage. Last week I couldn’t find a way to log into my old account so I had to start a new account with a different email. Now I can’t log in with either one. I’ve tried to reset my pw with both accounts and no email comes through(not in junk mail either). So frustrating. My IT friend said he’s had the same issue since the update so it’s not just that I don’t know what I’m doing. Please fix this!!!

Server down can’t log in. Don’t count on the app to work. Nothing worse than finding parking during the snow emergency rules, only to have an app that doesn’t work. NOTE: If you are unable to log into the app, try from the web browser on your phone. Click the help button and you’ll eventually get there.

New version needs update.. The newest version is definitely a step backwards. Adding time is no longer just seeing history and tapping same numbers you must now remember it and then re type into selection screen. Makes adding more time more annoying. Also the app constantly makes you re sign in unlike previous app that stays logged in like most daily use apps. Can’t pay for lot parking now which was one of biggest pluses so you don’t have to do the stupid envelope drop box thing. Definitely needs some modifications. Old app worked great new one seems over complicated for no reason.

CAUTION terrible customer service. I was trying to reserve future parking for a football game at US Bank stadium since I don’t go downtown often and find the parking situation very stressful. I found a ramp and quickly reserved a spot. I didn’t realize it defaults to the current time which I was obviously NOT downtown yet. I quickly (like within 1 minute) called their customer service line to have them cancel the reservation so I could revise the time to later. The woman on the phone said sure that she would submit the request for refund and then sent me a link to track my request. I have heard NOTHING from them yet and that was over 3 weeks ago. I’ve commented within the request tracker several times and emailed them. Still no response. In the meantime, the charge continues to appear on my credit card statement and it is NOT a small charge given it was event parking at US Bank Stadium. I’m guessing they just collect on people errors and then ignore any requests for cancelations. Very disappointed with the response and lack of service especially since I tried taking care of the issue with 1 minute of making the mistake.

Used it and got a parking ticket anyway. Parked outside Macphail last night and had an hour left on the meter when I returned to my car and saw a parking ticket. Double checked the parking spot and the license plate in app and it was correct. Ive used this app for years and loved it but does it no longer work?

Amazingly Unstable. For an app that should be remarkably simple to use, this app is amazingly unstable. I downloaded it when a parking kiosk wasn’t working. That was the only time I was able to get the app to work. Since then, I have yet to be able to complete a transaction and pay for parking remotely, Out of about five additional attempts. The app gives me a wide variety of excuses for failure, including their payment system cannot accept payment right now, try again later. Sure… I’ll just explain that to the towing company. In Minnesota, especially with the weather, that’s simply unacceptable. Developers, get the bugs out.

Convenient but Unforgiving. While it’s much more convenient to use this app, it also encourages expensive mistakes. If you entered the wrong space number or selected the wrong vehicle, there is no way to correct your session. You just have to pay again. That can be pretty expensive when you’re parking downtown. And as far as I can tell, there is no way to request a refund.

New UI is great, but has some bugs. 1. When selecting time, it stays at “7minutes” 2. Requires to sign in every time. 3. Apple Pay is buggy. App says payment didn’t go through and there was no active parking spot. However, I checked my bank statement and it was charged? 4. Please make a non-dial option when selecting time. It is a bit confusing and has so many numbers to look at. The scrolling method from previous version was nice and simple 5. Please consider an interactive notification, or widget. Would be a nice addition!

It won’t remember my payment method. I set up my payment method but each time I use it it asks for it again. This is not helpful! I checked my payment methods snd it had my same card listed 3 times! Each of those times my card number had been saved in my account. If I have to enter my card it’s faster to go to the pay box which means I don’t need the app! I e had problems multiple times and customer support never helps.

It won’t keep my payment info no matter what. I tried to add a card and I saved it to my profile as a default payment but it never asks to use it. When I try and use my apple wallet it says the card is already added…yea and I want to use it, but it won’t let me. It also no longer saves your car selection as a default so you need to add it every time you park again. I’m not a fan of this new update at all. It also logs me out every time I open the app.

Poor design update. The new design is significantly worse than the previous design. The entire app is less modern looking, the inputs and text are way too small, the time dial is visually cluttered and overwhelming, and because of these things I have less trust in this app to function properly, keep my information secure, etc. (not to mention the accessibility violations). Having the larger “add vehicle” input at the top when the map first opens confuses me every time. When I open the app my primary goal is to begin the parking flow, so the obvious first step should be to add the zone #. I already have multiple vehicles saved, so why would that be the primary, eye-catching input? I have also tried saving my credit card multiple times, but am still asking to enter my card information every time I park. I hate the new app. It is not an improvement in any way over the old one.

Parking works. Glad Minneapolis choose these folks to work with. App is simple and flexible. Other apps have had me searching for the pay stand they are so difficult to use.

Easy to use. This application is easy to use. However, when I used the “find my car “feature it led me to the wrong location.

Trouble adding credit card for payment. Great app, but occasionally credit card info disappears and there is no option to re-add that card without using Apple Pay, Visa Checkout, Masterpass or similar platforms. A big pain - please fix so simple credit / debit card addition is always an option!

Login EVERY TIME. Every single time I open this app, it makes me login again. It’s insane. But still more convenient than paying at one of the little machines. Also, bring back the banner notifications with the countdown timer! Those were incredibly useful for never missing parking expiration.

Worse. They updated this app recently and made it worse. You used to enter the space number, pick your duration and pay. Now there are about three extra steps in there plus you have to sign in every time. Still works, but more cumbersome than it needs to be.

So easy. So easy and smooth to use. Enter parking meter number. Pay on phone directly from parking spot. Timer in app keeps track of time. Extend time if needed from phone without going back to parking spot.

Can enter credit information with 1st gen iPhone se iOS 15.7. I know Apple wants me to get a new phone, but while my phone is supported, please make sure your app allows all users to get to the critical elements of the page. At the moment I cannot enter all credit card info and press ok or submit or whatever button is at the end of the page that I can’t see.

Step backwards from previous app. New app has one or two nice features, but not a better user experience. To improve: 1. Add support for Live Activities on the Lock Screen. This is a much better way to monitor parking instead of a push or text notification. If a focus mode is enabled, you may miss a notification. 2. App is always logged out when I go to use it. Change logout frequency. 3. Default to number only keyboard to enter space number. 99% of spots are a number or searched by number, not address. Extra press to get to numbers on keyboard.

Saved me so much!. I work in a hospital and some nights you just can’t leave on time. I used to get a pile of tickets within a few months. Now I can just add extra time to my parking while I’m still working!

Is not optimized for customer service ease.. I’m often frustrated with this app because it makes it unnecessarily difficult. I just went to a game with my brother, offered to pay for parking and paid $24. Then realized I typed his license in wrong. The solution? Pay $24 again with the correct license plate number. Support was no help, even on the phone. If I had paid at the machine on the street the license number would have been irrelevant.

logs out after each session - bugged. while i love the convenience of this app - when it’s working / logged in, ever since the new update & redesign it logs me out after each session… very inconvenient to have to log in each time!! It should remember me or I should have an option to keep it logged in. Please fix this bug! Otherwise it’s lovely to use.

Excellent app. Need options. The app works great! However, I wish that there’s an option to change the license plate after you paid for parking. Sometimes, I forgot to change to the correct license plate before paying, and I ended up pay for one parking spot twice.

Good until next terribly inconvenient upgrade, right?. Parking apps are fine until they aren’t; until that next upgrade; until that next desperate attempt to park for an event, uploading, downloading, loading up…and whatever the load. Apps should upgrade in a fashion that does not generate a future minor crisis.

Confusing , MPLS vs Park mobile????. It’s confusing to know which app to use for parking as one says it’s powered by the other so I have the Mpls app at all? Either way I can’t find a way to save a favorite parking zone in either app. It does the basic things quite well, eliminate the confusion, standardize the marketing, and you guys will be onto something good.

Paid to park and still got a ticket. I paid to park for a doctors appointment and still came out to a ticket. I’m out the $2 I paid and over $40 for a ticket. Now the only way to contest the ticket is to go wait downtown. Very unhappy with this app! Will not assist you at all if you get a ticket during a paid session. I have a screenshot showing I still had time left and the ticket time and they still wouldn’t help me. Deleting now!

Gets it’s job done. Love the accessibility of payments and choosing what car to park, but if you try to use the app function to find where you parked IT WONT WORK. I spent like an hour going the wrong way because the app lied where my car was. I was thankful Apple Maps remembered where I parked otherwise I would’ve been screwed!

Fonts are too small. Small fonts - the app works well as long as you can read micro fonts. There is plenty of space to enlarge the fonts. For people with visibility challenges, it’s strenuous

Map location. I am currently working downtown new construction. All the meters around me are 4 hr or 2 hr max. I thought I would download the app so I don’t have to leave to put $ in the meter? But when I enter the space number it pops up on the map as a different location than where I am parked ??

Terrible. For the amount of money Minneapolis has spent has spent on this app, it is the worst!!!! I have spent the last 10 minutes trying to log into my account and I keep getting logged his infinite of resetting my password and trying to login. Everyone else I know has had the same issue when they have initially logged into the app. Worst taxes payer money spent EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall OK. App has issues at times where it will charge card but not activate parking session leading to double charges. Also the notifications are slow to alert when 15 minutes remain or out of time. Have to be cautious of this to avoid tickets.

Too cold. It’s freezing outside, I was trying to go to Warby Parker and I had to set up the app, create an account, enter car information and enter payment infor. I just want to park and run in! I can’t feel my fingers. Can’t you have a meter that can both except above for longer stays and drop in a couple of quarters for quick trips? Think about it for cold MN winters.

This app works. Fine app, no problems. The only issue I have is that you cannot easily extend parking time. Also, the “recent” tab is completely useless. This app will not remember where your car is. Other than that, it works like a charm.

It works!. There’s very little else that I care of in a parking app beyond two simple things that this app does well: first, it needs to work. Secondly, it Hass to work easily and intuitively so that I can figure it out on my own when I’m in a hurry. Well done Minneapolis parking app!

Very poor performance compared to the previous parking app. App logs you out every time you close it, even if you click “keep me logged in.” Very annoying if you need to check how much time you have left. Also is very inconvenient if running to an appointment and just want to quickly pay, you have to login. Old apl kept me logged in for months. There is no need for this type of security. Please bring back the old app!

Easy to set up, difficult to remove. Downloading and setting up my account in order to use was pretty straightforward. However, when I attempted to remove my payment method since I only needed to use it while visiting over the weekend I found there is no way to remove a credit card. There is also no way to remove a vehicle if there is only one vehicle added. This is poor ux in my opinion.

Update is horrible. They force you to upgrade after April 16. Now the app is horrible. Slow, glitchy, and worst of all, all the parking ramps are gone. You also can’t search by business names or building names anymore. I used to be able to put in Orchestra Hall and get parking ramps around it. Now there’s nothing. What a stupid update. Bad decision. Poor leadership. Incompetent developers. Way to ruin a usable app.

No history download. The app works well for the purpose it serves. My biggest complaint is the ability to download the parking history has never worked. This makes submitting parking information as a part of expense reports a pain in the neck. Please fix!

Parking App. This parking app is super convenient! It’s especially convenient in the winter when no one really wants to spend any more time outside than needed. Just saves you the inconvenience of having to find the pay machine. Just super convenient nice have.

Mpls park app. Most of the time the app works well. There are times such as this morning , that it stalled when I entered the number of the parking space- and was quite frustrating and consequently made me late to work. I wish it would be more dependable.

Great parking, easy app. I may have been very fortunate, but I have always been fortunate to be able to park very close to my destination. The app makes it so easy to pay for the parking. I truly highly recommend this app.

Can’t create account. It wants 8 characters, upper lower mix, special characters, and number(s) for a password. When you provide those things, it still says the password you’ve selected doesn’t qualify. I tried five different special characters to no avail. Maybe provide which characters qualify as special so new users can create an account……..

Love this. Much improved parking experience over standing outside and trying to read a screen in blowing snow and insert a credit card when ones fingers are frozen.

Horrible. They’ve changed the vendor providing this service. Nothing works. The password isn’t saved. You have to reset it every time. It dies t give sheets when parking time is running out. The old provider was great - never had an issue. Someone in their infinite wisdom changed everything. It’s not worth using anymore.

Error message. The app worked great... the first time. Ever since it gives me the error message “Check Network Connection. We cannot connect to the network.” I have tried resetting it, resetting my phone, hard resetting my phone, uninstall and reinstall, nothing changes the message. Then my friends sitting next to me open and and use theirs flawlessly. I’m sure it works great but not for me.

Poor map and buggy. The map does not have all street names on it making it difficult to find where you need a parking spot. Also keeps asking me to enter a new payment method. Entered 3 cards then is says the parking company only accepts Visa, MC … well I had put in 3 Visa cards. After all this, you have a credit card etc all entered it says it can not make a reservation. Um why not say that upfront once I chose the time and location? Great idea, poor execution.

Server error and multiple charges. I am on week 2 of trying to have erroneous charges reversed. I attempted the same transaction several time having received a server error. The requests did go through even though I received the error. It has been several emails and calls to get meaningful assistance…on which I am still waiting. It seems simpler to wrestle with the kiosk.

So easy. Way easier than finding coins. Way easier than finding your wallet and your credit card and a payment kiosk.

Awful downgrade. The new app is terrible, buggy, and slow. Not to mention I have to log in every single time. Even so the worst part is that it never saves my card info so I have to keep entering it every time I want to park. I have apple pay but for some lovely reason it only pops up as an option to pay about 30% of the time. The old app just worked...guess that was just too good so they had to "Improve" it.

Map never displays correct location.. This worked great the first time I used the app, but stopped working recently. When I enter my parking number, the location shown on the map doesn’t match where my car is parked. I haven’t used it since this started happening because I’m worried i will get a ticket. I am not sure if it’s good enough to trust the number I entered, or if the app is paying for the (random?) location shown on the map.

Ap review. Could be better functioning...not always responsive as I have to try a few times, sometimes requesting info already in my account. Love it when it works. Aggravating when it does not.

Cannot change default payment method. I added a new credit card number , deleted an old credit card number that was the default payment method. Now ApplePay is listed as the default and I cannot change the default to the new credit card number. I called for Help, the person did not know how to change the default payment method. Frustrating and silly.

Update caution. Big updates to the app tend to blow up all of your personal info, and force you to re-enter everything. That’s not cool when you are pressed for time and discover all your info needs to be rekeyed. When it works it’s five stars. When it doesn’t it’s zero!

Confusing. Always shows the wrong area on the map. Not even close to where I parked. Asks for a zone and space number but I can only find a space number.

Used to be good, terrible now. This app used to be great, but it’s terrible now. It makes me re-enter my card information every time, no matter what type of card I use. I have tried reinstalling the app, contacting the developer, and a variety of other things, but it still won’t save my card. Drives me crazy. I try to park in places where I don’t have to use it.

The update erased my parking session.. The update completely wiped out my current parking session and parking history. I paid over $45 for a monthly parking for a lot and it was wiped out from the update. Please fix this issue because I’m out $45 and I still have over 2 weeks of parking left on the lot. If I get a parking ticket over this, I will have y’all pay for it. Fix this now!

Terrible. I had the previous parking app and it was so easy… THIS one never works! Can’t log in. It says it’s sent an email, it hasn’t. Someone else’s email pops up. Can you fix it please??!!?

Really great app. There are a lot of typical junk reviews below. My experience couldn't be better: rolled up, entered parking spot number, entered how long I wanted to park and that was it. App sent a few useful reminders as my session was about to expire. Happy to pay the trivial fee if $0.25 for how easy this was.

New Update has lots of Bugs!. Dear developer, The new app update is so bad! It keeps automatically signing me off (therefore no alerts!!) and also never remembers the payment info!! Please fix the bugs. The app was perfect before this big update.

Defaults to different car. I have a reset my default car, and reset default payment several times and they never stick this thing has charge me for the wrong vehicle and wrong card multiple times it is so frustrating. Have to double pay. When it works, it’s great. When it resets what I originally entered, it’s more frustrating than the street machines (which is saying a lot).

Too complicated. This update to the process of paying for parking is now way to long and complicated. Go back to just putting in the space number and confirming payment. You fixed something that wasn’t broke!
