Good Game. In general opinion, great anime game and One Piece game. Not much to say, except that I never get bored. There are so many things to do such as events and challenges. And I feel like the game actually gives you a chance. I never spend money and I have great strong characters. It’s just that some games you feel you have to spend actual money to feel strong in the game. In this game I just do challenges to receive the rainbow gems (whatever they are called) and it’s enough. The game also gives good rates on getting characters. So yeah, besides that the performance of the game is good to me, graphics are good. So I give this game a five out of five, for a much more fair advantage, decent gameplay and performance and finally the fact that spending money is more of an option. I never feel like spending my money to get characters! So if your a fan of One Piece go ahead and get It I definitely recommend. And have fun!

Customer service is horrific. I’ve played this game for multiple years and enjoyed it even though the grind can be a lot. I’ve built an account pouring a lot of time and money into it. I’ve backed it up with an old Facebook and didn’t realize I never backed it up again with my current (I know, big oof on my behalf). Even finding the form to send a request for restoration is a nightmare. I have tons of transaction recipes and answered multiple questions. Of course I don’t remember the last mission I played or even who was my third crew anyone who’s played this game a long time knows that they have a different grind mission every day and crews change frequently. I reached out on three different occasions providing proof of purchase and player ID. Sending screenshots of me using my crew. After three attempts of them saying they have inadequate information I think I’ve finally given up. For a game that literally just pours in money you’d think they could use those funds to have a decent team to make sure their customers are taken care of. It was a pretty fun time playing the game, but if something happens to your account just know that’s probably gone forever.

Great game for a one piece fan. This game follows the anime so you won't have a problem with the story because it goes in order. They just updated to 5.0 so there is more characters, islands to explore, etc. overall I like the game because I can just turn it on get a few cards here and there to level my characters which doesn't take a lot of time. I usually run out of stamina but you can either let time go by and wait for your stamina or you can use a rainbow gem to replenish it. It's FTP but you don't need to spend money on this game to get ahead. It will just take longer if you don't spend any money on the game. It's up to you if you want to support the game by spending money to progress through the game. It's a very addicting game if you like One Piece.

Make a save thing button I will not lose my progress. Hello I like the game very much the graphics are good and the pictures of the characters are amazing throughout my play through I’ve Noticed something it doesn’t have a save I currently I have a game on my iPad but the screen of it is broken now I’m afraid I will lose all my characters in the game mainly one I want to keep Yamato and ace there my best character so please In plant a save button or if you have I’m just stupid and missed still a very great graphics are good pictures of the characters I love special effects of the characters when there at there max effect on the poster amazing game five out of five game would recommend to people new to one piece or have just started watching it

Bandai Namco!. I love this game I've been playing it since it was released. Up until the Alabasta island the game is extremely enjoyable and the simple controls help this but I have one question to ask. Why the hell does all the enemies gain health pools and damage rival to the end level island boss and they all gain a special that depending on how your team is set up will destroy your health or make it to where you can't even attack for several turns letting your team to get demolished by low level tier enemies. With which you can only continue using a rainbow gem which you only get 5 when completing a island and a additional 3 throughout the course of the island too bad unless your a nigh master strategist you'll run out of these extremely fast. Now I realize money is king in corporations and businesses but you really need to stop making levels impossible to the point where you try to strong arm the payers into buying gems. So please make the game playable again and update the the game website more frequently so we at least have some idea on what we're about to head into.

Terrible Pull Rates. Have been playing this game for nearly two years and have spent a few hundred dollars on Sugo-fests. In the beginning I had great success on some of the rarer units, but here in the past few months of spending money, my rates have been terrible. Compared to the available “sugo-rare” characters now available, I haven’t even scratched the surface with who I’ve pulled compared to the amount I’ve spent. The 10+1 rare recruit business I feel is a huge scam, as I hardly ever get a new or noteworthy unit from those. I understand random rates and am not complaining about that—but after the amount of time and money I’ve spent, I feel that (as others have stated) pull rates are incredibly, unfairly low. Please adjust or at least be transparent and tell us our actual odds.

Honestly great game. It’s rare that I write a review for a video game, so you know it’s legit. This is quite honestly one of the best video games I’ve ever played. I know that is said a lot but it’s true. I love gacha-type rpg games and this definitely fits my needs lol. I find myself coming back to this game everyday…. for the past 5 months (i have a long login streak….). I don’t tend to stay on mobile games long since I get bored of most of them after a while but that isn’t true for this one. Here are the reasons: It has insanely good art, they give out tons of free stuff which makes it all the more enjoyable (who doesn’t love free stuff), and it has a great community. The battle style of this game is unique, which is another thing I look for when playing games like these. Plus, this is a One Piece game, a series that I, along with many others, have come to seriously enjoy. I know most-to-all of the characters which makes the experience fun, but you don’t need to know them to have a good time. If you are looking for a game with great art, a unique battle style, free stuff, a non-toxic community, and a one piece game, I highly recommend you play and enjoy this experience. Hope this helped someone play the game lol :)

Have to do better. The inability to handle the current mail glitch in the best method possible for the players will be the downfall of this game. You have no communication for a week then say you cannot fix it for an unspecified period of time. Then, you continue with rankings that clearly put those who did not abuse the glitch at a disadvantage all while leaving players in limbo as to what and who they can use on their account without risking a ban. To top it all off the “compensation” is a laughable offering for how much of a mess this game has been in the last week and into the foreseeable future. If you don’t want this game to go up in flames I encourage you to fix this before Stampede sugofest. If not there will either be a lot more work to be done or a large chunk of the players to ban.

Great game. I don’t know why people are complaining about this game and claiming that you have to spend thousands of dollars on gems to be able to clear advanced content. That is simply not true. Sure, if you don’t spend money, you are not going to be able to advance as quickly, but if you are not stupid with the way you spend your gems you will get good characters eventually. I never spent a dime on the game and I have about 15 legends. Just make sure you save your gems until a sugofest. NEVER do rare recruit except on a Sugofest. If you do rare recruit every time you get enough gems for a single pull, you will never get good characters. I think this is the mistake most people who leave negative reviews are making

Shame on you Bandai.. Shame on you for not doing right during gem valley. You spit in our faces not once with poor compensation for destroying the game, and continuing to leave people hanging about the situation to play, and then do it again with 10M berry? You guys are a disgrace. For people who don't know, Bandai put in a bug that allowed millions of people to get infinite gems . They're going after the community on their self-righteous high horse blaming the players for their mistake and destroyed many in game events that revolve around pulling certain characters to do well. People spend lots of money in these and they did wrong by their most loyal players. They have the negligence and audacity not to keep us in the loop while Nick (the community manager) tweets about his waifus on twitter. They poorly compensated us for the gamebreaking glitch, and then subsequently added an additional compensation which is effectively worthless. Do not play because you're saving yourself a lot of hassle, even if you love One Piece. These guys running this game made it a miserable experience. Shame on you.

Very addictive game. It’s a fun game that needs your attention. Most other games you start a level and can walk away for a moment, and have find you’ve won - just as you’ve expected. One Piece Treasure Cruise is awesome when you need something to do. My husband and I recently visited Ireland connected by two red-eye flights - yes, 8+ hours waiting in an airport in between international and domestic security. Needless to say, it was incredibly dull. I grab my phone - knowing I wouldn’t be falling asleep in public, and before I know it it’s time we can check in for the flight! The timing of the attacks, planning the perfect strategy, how it’s a “live” version of the manga; everything about it is captivating! Regardless of this game being an intro for a newbie to the story, just another app for a die-hard fan, or just “something to do”, it’s perfect for all.

One star and why I gave it this rating. Ok so first off love the game it’s fun but it’s one thing that make sit so much more less fun than Dokkan battle and Brave Souls that being that the special leveling up is so stupid and ruins the game when in games like dokkan and Bleach it is guaranteed a lvl up this game does the dumbest thing possible and makes it have a PERCENTAGE to increase and compared to the other games that actually reward you this is the biggest if not the most stupid thing that brings it from 4 star to a 1 star I like that on my 2nd account I got rewarded well for being new but I think unless they fix the special percentage from being like 10% to 100% for using a dupe character then it will not be as popular or as good as Dokkan or Brave Souls and that saddens me bc it’s fun but I hate the 15 hours I did to grind Shanks to compete 1 recruit mission if your gonna have a “have a special reach a certain lvl” mission for a recruit then don’t make it absurdly hard like 6 either reduce it or just get rid of it

Long time fan. Where do I even start? To be honest, what drew me in at first (aside from the very unique gameplay mechanic) was the art. Every character has such a carefully woven appearance both in gameplay and in menus- looking back on the days that OPTC started, the progress in the art is simply a spectacle. But lo! The wonder didn’t end there! Games of this nature usually feel repetitive after a while- beat levels, maybe get a character, repeat. But somehow, the staff team of this game just keep on giving, even separating global from japan by giving us exclusive units from time to time. And what’s more? This game is a treasure trove for folks who enjoy strategy- it’s significantly more complex than it may at first let on! I basically had to go through a time skip of my own to figure out how to properly work all the intricacies of this game over the five or six years I’ve been playing- if that sounds like a long time, get ready for it to fly by when you pick up this game! If your a fan of even one of the things I’ve mentioned here, I *strongly* recommend this game. 10/10 from me- (and believe me when I say I don’t give a full 10/10 rating easily).

has things figured out, but could be better. It is a really fun game, with an interesting battle mechanic and SO many fighters. However, it is in that that it has its flaws. Compared to a game with a similar hero selection process, fire emblem heroes, it seems the fighter draw rates are much harder to obtain, as the game is so reluctant to give you rainbow gems , it’s heightened currency. In FEH, if a draw event comes on, with a selected hero you want, you would always be able to scour your game for the required 20 orbs for the best possible summon. However, optc makes it much more difficult, if bot impossible, to get 50 orbs by the time of a wanted summon port, as they reward every fifth level and don’t hold many events with rainbow gems in them. Other than that, i find treasure cruise enjoyable, and log on it nearly every day to at least collect the daily rewards.

Greediest Gacha Game in the market. Where to start? The rates for the games Rare Recruits is horrible. Bandai lies about the rates. You get crappy units that aren’t of any use after spending hard earned gems. Which mind you take months to save up for. Tons of units that are amazing don’t come back ever. Forcing you to purchase gems. They make it impossible to get good Legends and boost the good ones extremely low. Even if you spend a thousand dollars you wouldn’t even get the amazing Legend you want. That’s how bad it is. So saving gems is worthless and so is buying them. They make the content way too focused on SPECIFIC UNITS which only the new Legends are capable of clearing and are good for a month or two before a new one comes out repeating said cycle from above. They treat their player base like crap and see them as breathing piggy banks. Only wanting money, are incompetent in fixing issues, and punish their players for any errors they have made. STAY AWAY from this steaming pile of trash. Don’t give this greedy piece of crap any more money . They don’t deserve anything. It will be the best decision you could’ve ever made.

Some improvements I hope are coming. So I have been playing this game for, who knows how long. And I have found that this game is very unique in the fact that it has an original art style for a gacha game, and the way they implemented pvp. But one thing that I find this game is lacking is a skip battle feature, where you can either have tickets or use your stamina to skip a battle, and get randomly generated rewards fitting that stage. I would find this update most useful with the beli stages where you can get more in-game money, because you burn through the beli like nobody’s business, it’s annoying sometimes. The only reason why I don’t play this game as often is because of something like this. Now it doesn’t mean that the game isn’t fun, because this game is very very fun to play and it has gotten better in terms of its player friendliness. That’s why the fact that so many other popular games, aside from this one have already implemented a skip battle feature, and this one you still have to grind and wait several minutes to clear a stage, is a little annoying and upsetting. I hope someone over at Bandai reads this, because this is one of the oldest gacha games, if not THE oldest gacha game, and we are getting some great updates, yes. But the updates we want are either not coming, or are further down along the line.

Downhill. This game has gotten to be so bad. The rare recruit aspect is completely pathetic. The fact that you can recruit basically worthless characters that were created at the very beginning of this game in new sugo rare recruits is an atrocity. It is already time consuming to get gems and when you finally decide to spend them during special sugo fest events you get beginning chopper? Or Brook? Why is it even possible to get worthless characters like that in the latest rare recruits? It’s pathetic no matter what way you look at it. Then pirate rumble is just completely random. The strength of your team means nothing as it basically is a race to whichever team gets to use their specials first. Sometimes it’s you, sometimes it’s them. There’s no strategy or consistency to pirate rumble which is dumb also. Overall this game is just a bunch of repetitive randomness. And the gems you accumulate in this game only get you worthless characters that you will never use. The rare recruit rates are an absolute joke. This game has really gone downhill…

Outdated. I love one piece, and I am really trying hard to play the game, and that's the problem, the game should be easy to use and something I don't have to work hard to play, I am not talking about ratings or anything like that, it's more about how the game is outdated in the UI and the way it works, the organization of the characters is weird, the lack of a proper account linking and using a different device easily is weird to be honest, I get you want to keep it so players don't do weird stuff, but allowing an easy way to use my account in multiple devices would be great. Again, some of those things that are more aligned to the way the app is used rather than the rates or the actual combat is what makes this game so hard to play for me, I wish you could give it a new look to the main Ui that is more intuitive for new users, and maybe easier for other old players.

Used to be a great game. I’ve played the game consistently since the first month of release (1500+ days ago). It was truly fun and exciting for a very very long time as the game mirrored the stories of OP. The character and team building system made it interesting and challenging at the same time. I was able to obtain many good legends without spending much money. For the past few months, Bandai has decided to shift the game toward primarily “pay to play” only customers. The pull rates have dropped and awards have decreased. Even with payment the game itself has becoming one of a grind-fest, essentially repeating the same quest 15-30 times for slightly better rewards. There is barely any consistent update bc the game has caught up with the anime so they couldn’t release newer content. Every gacha mobile game hit a wall at some point when the producer becomes too greedy (or simply need to divert resources away from R&D). Unfortunately, the time has come for OPTC. I’m afraid now is my time to quit. I caution new players from joining at this juncture in time.

Enjoy the Manga & Anime, this only frustrating. I want to rate this higher but I can’t based on performance alone. The constant downloading, even though I have chosen the mass:bulk download option, is annoying but I can deal with it. The being cheated out of characters when performing a pull after finally earning rainbow gems through gameplay is insulting. A few times I have contemplated spending money on this game because I LOVE One Piece, but after each pull I retract that thought. I know if I were to spend money I would only be disappointed & feel like i’ve been ripped off. In addition to that, progress in the game can go incredibly slow based on the steep difficulty curve. Now it may just be me, but with upgrading my characters as much as I can in every way possible, the story seems to really slow down in pace do to overpowered opponents & slow battle pace. I originally played this game around the time it came up but when I upgraded my mobile device & tried to log back into my account but everything was gone. I gladly started over because of my love for it but now some of these issues make it frustrating going forward.

Balance in game.. Fisrt off I love the game, been with it for some time to time since it almost released. Game is pretty fun and was added a lot of features but honestly it has become terrible unbalanced. By this i am talking about the competitive side to it besides the Kizuna clashes. TM and Kizuna requiring the newest units to advance and place in the top; while this is somewhat acceptable due to the type of game its not that big a deal even though players have little to no chance of earning the top spots or getting the rewards that would allow them to play better but also the PvP is broken. While completely fun its unbalanced as well as having a bad Rng that cost you matches and your ranking. Most of the time I used the same if not stronger team than the enemy player but suddenly the enemy activates all their specials in a row even when you have higher speed and lower cooldown. Game is great but these issues are present even in Japans version if I am not mistaken and thiuroughly ruin the experience for a lot of players. Even though it’s fun it’s definitely frustrating to be unable to play a match and rank somewhat decently if you are hindered by bad game structure. Needs reworking and some balance as it currently is frustrating to have access to rewards and incentive to play when it’s clearly bad

We are not second class customers. I have been playing this game for almost 3 years and I love it. But the low rating comes in due the fact that this game’s version, a.k.a. Global version, has been treated with less transparency then its Japanese counterpart. This lack of transparency is in much part due to the lack of laws in the US and other counties where global version is played. Namely, that the randomness of the characters acquired trough pulls with Gems that are obtained trough playing and by buying them is much less than the randomness used in the global version. It is important to know that in the Japanese version that rates for the probabilities of obtaining a character is clearly displayed in the Japanese version, but this is not the case for the global version. This, and the large data collected recently supporting the belief that the rates are tampered with has made thousand of players like me raise our voices in protest for the way Bandai/Namco os handling it’s business. I am a F2P customer, and I would never, I repeat, never spend a penny on this game. But there are other players that spend thousands of dollars, and they are being taken advantage of! Once this company comes clean and transparent about the rates, I would be more then happy to rate the game 5 starts because it truly is a beautiful game to play more so if you are a fan of One Piece like me.

It has a bug for me. When I first downloaded it it was fine until the 3rd day it said to me to download new content and I did and then I played it for the rest of the day, then the next day it said download new content and I was thinking to myself that hey they might have added something new so I downloaded it and nothing new and then the same thing happened to me all the time when I opened the app it kept on making me download the content that I already downloaded but it is a ding game but I just get annoyed when’re it does that and I tried reinstalling the app and that did not fix it and my phone has enough storage for h Th e update and I do not know what to do so if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated.

Pretty awesome. If you're a fan of one piece play this game. If not but u enjoy strategy games, give it a shot. My advice to you is the first to rare recruits u get should be good ones if u wanna progress well through the game. If not consider re downloading and starting over. The game will only continue to improve as they release new maps and characters, which will in turn make more team strategies possible. With the version 4.0 that was just released, Bandai has shown once again a genuine effort to innovate. Their efforts have paid off with an increasingly strategic game with a seemingly endless amount of customization available to the players (in regards to the teams they build). Unfortunately, despite my love of this game, I will be changing my rating to 1* until they clear up this "sugofest rate controversy" on global. I look forward to them explaining their innocence or making moves to right any wrongs so I can change it back to a 5*.

Bandai punishing its player base.. This game is a gambling game. If you have a gambling addiction please for your sake do not play this game especially if your a One Piece fan. Currently we are having the 5th anniversary of the game which is the most hyped and generally the best event of the year. This year it is hot garbage. Recently there was a glitch that sent out unlimited items and the gem currency to veteran players. It was a mess for Bandai and they likely spent a lot of time fixing it. So in return they spent no effort in 5th anniversary and even raised the cost to pull new characters. It is very disappointing. To new players I would say stay away. Veterans should think twice about continuing to play as this game is very time consuming and Bandai repeatedly treats its player base like garbage. To all, please do not give Bandai your hard earned money. If you choose to play remain f2p in till Bandai shows the least bit of effort to treat players better.

Been playing since 1.0. Been playing since 1.0 big time One Piece fan here. I’m F2P through and through. Was able to get many legends with most spending a dime. The game is very fun and engaging, for a free game, it is definitely one of the best and I’ve enjoyed it all these time. However as soon as they rolled out the “Treasure Map” mode, I quickly lost interest. Mainly, this mode requires FARRRRRR too much time. For the entire event duration, normally 4 days. You are required to play non-stop or at least divulge 3-4 hrs of continuously play to keep up with the progress. Worst of all, in order to keep up, you HAVE to spend gems to pull characters that boost your score. These score boosting characters are different each event so you are FORCED to spend gem in order to keep up, FORCED to spend hours a day to keep up. To a working professional, that is just too exhausting. I participated in 4 events and I officially quit OPTC. So long OPTC. Thanks for 3 years of fun.

One of the best games on mobile. OPTC is not only one of the best designed games on the App Store, but one of the most densely packed and massively fun games I've ever played on mobile. There's always new things going on in game and even with the time based "wait to play" gameplay, I still find myself enjoying the experience more than any other similar game I've played. It is possible to pay to win or "be better", but it actually takes skill and planning to play this game well, especially later in the game. OPTC has "rainbow gems" which are considered the premier currency worth real world money. USE THEM WELL. I am lv 986 in this game having played for over 1700 days. I cannot say enough about how much fun this game is. So pick it up and try it for yourself.

Very upset after spending a lot of $$$. It is a fun game to start with. I felt well rewarded at the beginning and was ok to spend some dollars on this game. However, since I started spending real money, the rate started getting worse and worse on me. As machine learning scientist, I personally believed that the company has used my personally data to be against me. The so-called customized revenue management. Similar algorithm has been used by casinos to take the most from their registered member. I have seen a lot of discussion in the community forum. Until I see positive comments there, I will stop spending and will suggest you stop spending any money. All I want is a fair reward. As long as you offer a fixed rate, I am ok with it. This is a cell phone game, not a casino slot machine: If You win, You get no real money, just some good feeling. If you lose, youI lose real money! PS: I am very angry about the new Sugo--just a few days after the one that costs me so much money. You have to give free gem on top of that for a fair apology--not another trick to get additional money from us!

Poor rates. It’s impressive, really. How can the rates be so awful? Like, absurdly awful. If I’m lucky, I’ll get 1 of the banner characters after 15 multis. I am not exaggerating when I say that. This game is definitely deceptive in its pull rates for characters. It boggles my mind that the BANNER character does not have a boosted rate. Honestly, I’ve lost a lot of interest in the game because of how disappointing pulling for characters is. Every single time I pull, I just end up feeling defeated and regretful. Sure, the game has some good content, but a lot of it has become too repetitive for me, and way too difficult. As others have said, if you don’t pull on the event banners, and somehow actually get one of the banner characters, you’re really in for a rough time to try and compete or even succeed at acquiring the event rewards. I give this game 1 star, and I’m truly surprised that this game has such a high rating… I’ve been playing for 3 years, and at first I enjoyed this game, I still do at times, but something really needs to be done about their huge character amount in their gacha pool that really needs to be trimmed down. I’ll still login and do some dailies, but the events are just a chore now. Maybe I’ll find some interest again, but I doubt it.

Summoning characters is bad and unfair. I saved up 600 gems for the new gear 5 luffy summon (took me months) and out of those 600 gems, 300 of them used on the summon on the gear 5 event. There is a 15% chance to get a sugo rare card (the rarest) and for some reason out of those 300 gems I got nothing but trash. Months of time wasted on a trash game that has a horrible pay to win vibe with awful gatcha based rolling. How is it that I had a statistically 400% chance to get a sugo rare on my last summon and I got nothing but ultra rares? Because this game will continue to give you trash characters until you spend $800+. For those of you who are F2P, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IT WILL ENRAGE YOU. For those of you who are P2W whales or sharks, go ahead this game is fun if you have good stuff. If I play this game in the future and I find it’s easier to get rare characters and not just based on who spends the most money, then maybe I’ll change my review to 5 star because this is a enjoyable game when your not trying to get characters from the summons

Good game. It has been a great game to start off with, really enjoyable when it was released. It gets worse and worse with every single update. First, they didn’t fix too many of the UI issue, when I see my box with over 1000 character, that’s just something causes headache. Therefore, the newer bosses requires way too much tactical and specific characters to clear. When I have to spend money to process in the game, I normally delete that game right away. Also, the developer quit on this game long time ago, just like how they quit on dragon ball legend. Bandai has great titles and awesome developers, they know how to make games but eventually they do not know how to manage them in order to maximize their profit while the fans still enjoy the games. That’s right, we’re fans, not just players, most of us been spending money just for the title and the characters we love. That’s probably why Bandai didn’t border to manage their game seriously. I have to say, a lot of their games are awesome, but really lack of management.

It's crazy how big this is.... I mean, for a phone game, there really is a LOT of content here. If you're a One Piece fan, it's even BETTER. The game is addicting, and it's fun to see your favorite characters grow and evolve, let alone play. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for something free to kill time with. It definitely doesn't BEG for your money, like a lot of games do. The only drawback is every once in awhile, it'll have to take a long time to download new data to the game. But it's worth it! And even then: you can have it download data automatically! This game wins!!! UPDATE: it got better. Now there are super evolutions that help to include time-skip versions of your favorite characters! So it's always updating! UPDATE UPDATE: I'm still playing this a year later so it's keeping itself fresh and it's always getting bigger and better. MEGA UPDATE: it's still so good! ULTRA UPDATE: It's stiiilllll tha king baybeeee!

High Hopes Rewarded. I've been in the One Piece community for a little while. And when I found out about this game, I had to get it. I saw the good ratings and after having the game for a few hours, I would agree with them. You start off the game with the original story. From there, you work your way up by beating levels and building your own crew. I've played many games like this in the past, except this one is different. Unlike other unit collecting games, you actually get a connection with the characters if you didn't already from the show and manga. I loved trying to get gems to collect my favorite O.P characters. Change my review I like this game. I already found out how to fix the problem so. It’s fine there’s so much things to do in this game all the characters in the game it’s cool not difficult to get rainbow gems like some other games there are simple steps how to get rainbow gems there’s lots of ways actually ilike one piece good work almost all the same episodes in the game lots of battles daily rewards I also like the way how if any people start the game logging in you can get cool stuff like 15days to get all kinds of stuff almost like one piece and I really think you should get it if you’re interested with one piece or like one piece or just watch one piece as your daily thing what good work developers surprisingly amazing game see you later I will add some more stuff later. Best One Piece Game Period.. Great game, I’ve been playing for 5+ years. The game is perfect for fans of One Piece. It has monthly character batches and content to beat. There are 4 main game modes (1) normal story/raids/coliseums: using a team of 6 to clear a stage with a boss at the end that could mostly be described as puzzle/strategy/tap timing. (2) treasure mode: a monthly game mode where you move through a map collecting rewards and use multiple different teams to clear mini bosses. (3) Kizuna: develop 3 teams to do as much damage as possible to a certain boss (4) pirate rumble: develop a 5-8 man team to beat other teams in a hands off, automatic, PvP RNG fight. The game has had its ups and downs. The developers can be a bit stingy and a little greedy at times. And the price of gems is usually ridiculous, but it’s overall a very enjoyable game and community that I’ve spent way too much of my life on.

OPTC. I don't normally rate or review games or apps but when a game like this gets me hooked I just have to now let's put aside the fact that it's one piece but the fact that it's a great turned base strategy game even though it may not look like it but deciding who to bring what captain to use it all matters in the long run the characters you can get the story and the extra islands are more than enough content to have you busy for a long time especially for a free to play game and even though there are in app purchases it's not game breaking the game rewards you for logging in every day as well as the mission give you gems which are the in game currency you spend real money on so there's really no need to spend money on this game making a great game to download but don't take my word for why not give it a try for yourselves

Yes! .... Yes!!!. The last game I played like this was Fable Age, which I became hopelessly addicted to. The difference? This has the amazing theme of One Piece, a more intuitive combat system, and is actually being updated regularly. If they keep this up the chances of me quitting seems unlikely. The built in strategy guide is a major help so you can look up which characters will actually evolve to levels 5 or 6! That's a huge plus. A year and a half later; this is definitely a lifestyle game. They come out with so much content I can barely keep up (maybe if I quit my job). That being said the game still keeps most of its charm. The official wiki is extremely spotty and missing several entries, luckily better third party databases are available. If you can get by the constant cash grabs and the occasional terrible spot of RNG on Sugo pulls the game is still very rewarding.

Great free to play. Amazing game, probably one of the best in this App Store. Regardless if you watch/read One Piece. New management has really improved this game. After a long silence from the Devs. And an uproar, of a very devoted, ONE PIECE community. Changes have been made. Disappointed. Hello, I played this game roughly around when it first came out. I stopped playing because I felt the game was to hard to play through with my free to play crew. I had some good characters but it was truly unplayable for me. Now I download and they give you shanks and Beckman after the tutorial. They didn’t do that before. My crew was luffy gaimon and some grunts for the beginning levels. I used to have to grind for turtles for exp, now I have to more lobster feasts(exp) and than I know what to do with. I am gifted several gems and have pulled several sugo rares. Now I beat any level because I have a maxed out crew of sugo rares + one five star. I tested it on a level I had to use a extra gem to refill my health bar(clash lagoon) with my team back in the day. Now I beat that boss with a single attack that I missed. What’s the point in playing if ima beat every level like it’s nothing. I downloaded this game with the hope of having some challenges and feeling of success when I got pass a tough boss, or when I got lucky enough to get a sugo rare. The game no longer has those aspects. It is night and day from what it used to be. I may still keep it to collect gems and pull characters cuz I am a fan of the series.

BANDAI can’t retrieve account.. I’ve recently accidentally deleted the global version of the app. I wasn’t able to play the game after version 7.2.0. I submitted the emailed form in hopes to retrieve my account back, but BANDAI was of no help. I’ve been playing this game for nearly 3 years, started back in Feb. 2015. I’ve also bought gems. You would think if you gave the unique information of the purchases to them, they would be able to track down your account, but no. Bandai is saying it is not unique enough for them to retrieve your account. The only way they are able to retrieve your account is giving them the user ID, a 9 digit number. Who would remember this user ID that is only shown on the loading screen? Would you write this down if you would of known it is the key to retrieve your account? All other gaming apps I’m playing, if i delete them and download it back from the cloud it would continue were I left off. Not this game! Beware this company does not value their loyal customers.

The best gatcha collection tap game out there. Edit5: They added options to avoid the dreaded Japan inventory system and content wise they are not too far behind now. Edit4: Don't believe reviewers who say global has the same rates as Japan. They are wrong. Still, It's gotten better as established f2p can earn legends with a lot of grind but it's doable. Still, global is behind Japan, still no drop rates for pulls, and not enough quality of life features. The grind is ever increasing burning out many vets. Japan still has higher drop rates. Edit3: It has gotten better but global still lacks a lot of must have features that the Japan version has. Plus quality of life upgrades are needed to keep people from burning out. Edit2: they manipulate pull and drop rates in a way that's unfair to global players while Japan players enjoy free rewards. Second class citizens! Finally they are giving global updates that have been in Japan for a year Most mobile games make you suffer a lot by if you are f2p. This one doesn't, and has a huge English community writing guides for it. After trying all of the top mobile games, this is best in genre. If you like team building and skill based tap timing gameplay, this is it.

Injustice. I write this review not in thought of the game itself, but the individuals behind the server. By now, the OPTC community knows of a glitch that took the community by storm. Although not everyone received the erroneous mails, those that did are being wronged. It’s only right that Bandai take back what was given in error, purchased through error and/or used through error; not robbed of everything. As compensation for their error, we’re only rewarded 51 gems, few tablets, tomes and books, and a belated 10M berries that we had to earn in game. One can induct from said event that the community does not matter. It is apparent that the community is just a walking pile of cash ready for grab. If this doesn’t seem like taking candy from a baby, then I don’t know what it is. I truly enjoy the game but since the issue was poorly handled, I’m losing interest. It would take a lot to make up for this situation, but first and foremost is for Bandai to win the trust of the OPTC community.

5 Year Player Rating Adjusted. -This game was fun back in the day and was worth the money spent. Now most of my community has quit and I am seeing myself out too. Pay attention to the 5 star reviews. They’re actually 1 star ratings, but many players decided to place as 5 star to make sure their review is seen to let people know the truth. Save yourself. -Bandai was forced to show their pull rates to players which exposed their crap rates after lying to us -Punished players who took no part in a severe bug that was actually THEIR FAULT. You think 50 gems compensates for the money I’ve spent while additionally being a loyal player all these years? -Game became a massive cash grab -Anniversary banner is absolute trash and an obvious attempt to screw their player base. You call this a 5th Anniversary while boosting V1 characters from when the game first launched years ago? (Btw V1 characters are all trash now and can clear about 1% of content) yes you read that right: They want you to pay to get screwed by legends and rare recruits that came out 5 years ago as some of the first characters in the game which can clear virtually nothing relevant in the game.

The Issues with OPTC. As previous reviewers have stated, a large issue with the global version is the idea of rare recruits. I have done many multi-pulls only to receive nothing for it. In the Japanese version of the game, you are basically guaranteed a six star in every pull, and they even send you a free six star in the mail, along with the evolver set. In the global version the only “guaranteed” way to get a six star is to buy the gem bundle. Another issue I’ve seen, with my friends and I, is the download bonus. The best place to start is how slow it is. In the past the download bonus took no time at all, but now it takes so long, even when I’m on wi-fi. Not to mention, most of the times we don’t get, or even see a chest for the gem. I personally believe that we could do with out the download bonus, or at least it could be fixed in some way. The only other issue I have with the download bonus is that it happens to me twice a day. If we got equal treatment as the Japanese version, and the download bonus was better, then maybe I would give the game a higher rating, but until then I can only give the game two stars.

Great Game. Horrendous Management.. I don’t even know if I should call it management but that’s what I’m going with. The game itself is as fun as any gacha game, and it is fairly generous on how gems, the premium currency, is earned. The issue lies with Bandai Namco, or most likely the section of Bamco than runs OPTC, handles its fan base and communications. It treats the players like second class customers and just kinda says “Oops oh well” to it’s mistakes and isn’t transparent 100% with what is going on. Also I know it’s their game so they don't have to be generous on their banners but that’s not how you keep a player base since not everyone is going to want to spend hundreds of dollars just to pull on banners that players feel they’re being shafted on. One final note the whole “economy of the game” situation that just went down is really stupid considering the game is a PvE (You can compete with other players during special events but it’s not really PvP) game so there is zero harm in being nice with rewards other than the harm it does to Bandai’s wallet.

One Piece fans rejoice!. Always been a fan of the anime, and still to this day. They kept the original voice acting in this game as true to the original Japanese voice actors. Even some of the cinematics shag as true as possible by using screenshots from the anime itself, however some scenes are better watched to see the emotion displayed, because some scenes just can't be recreated by mere still image swaps. Gameplay is pretty straight forward, with a turn based rpg element. The fun comes in constructing teams of much variety, but of course end gamers will be pretty much running the same team. Anyways, much fun is to be had in the simple battle system and leveling. With a storyline that keeps true to its original manga/anime (though a bit behind) it's some if every One Piece fan should worth consider to play.

One piece treasure cruise. One piece treasure cruise is an amazing and marvelous game were a story takes place of monkey D Luffy out to sea to become the pirate king. In the app, you can fight enemies use your crew and become stronger. There is also a limit break system where you can limit break your characters to make them even stronger so that you can face some powerful enemies along the way through your adventures . I played this game and I love it I was always a one piece fan ever since I was a kid. Oh I forgot to mention something, you can also do quest that can power up your characters and exchange them for rare items. I am hoping for this game to be even greater and for more future one piece games to come. So my final verdict is I’m giving one piece treasure cruise an 9/10.

Couldn’t Get My Daughter’s Data Back. My daughter played this game for years and never missed a login day. She spent 40+ dollars in-game as well. But the iPad she had the game on crashed and we went through the grueling process of trying to get her data back. We had her account number, we had a purchase receipt, we had all the information they asked for. But I guess she got a couple things wrong, like the last mission that she did or her crew level, things she never thought she’d have to memorize. They told her they couldn’t give her data back because the information she gave didn’t match, yet they wouldn’t tell us anything else. I explained to them that she’s young and autistic, along with other medical problems, and also that she didn’t have any type of social media to back her data up because she’s too young to do so. This game was very calming for her, yet the people in charge didn’t help us out at all. I never thought they’d treat a mobile game’s data like it was someone’s social security number or bank account information. Their security is far too tight for a game some kids/teenagers probably play. She hasn’t been the same since losing her game, but I’m quickly trying to find her a replacement.

The best phone game. One Piece Treasure Cruise is the only game I play on my phone because it is the best phone game. It is a tactical action strategy game where you build crews of pirates, marines and inbetweens to send on perilous multi-stage voyages in search of new recruits and glorious treasures, set in a faithfully rendered version of the One Piece japanime world. The game’s real draw consists of building up crews capable of taking on the hardest challenges, something that takes luck, time, skill and hitting your credit card. Kudos to the developers for finally releasing the gatcha pull rates so you can gamble honestly, but OPTC is a really fun game where virtually all the content is still doable even if you pay out for for few digital treasures. I feel like the game has suffered a bit from being stuffed over full of new content but it’s still solid

Fun game that needs improvement. I’ve been playing this game for going on 3 years and while I love One Piece and the game overall there are some things that need some massive improvements. The 1st being pull rates. The pull rates for the newest Sugo characters are trash. Rate boosted should actually mean something. We shouldn’t have a higher chance to pull an old, no longer useful, non-featured or rate boosted unit then one that is featured/rate-boosted. It really disincentives users from pulling. The 2nd thing that needs improvement are the gem costs. There is no reason that it should cost so much for so little return. Add that to the fact that “gem sales” aren’t actual sales (no price reduction) makes it unappealing to actually spend money on the game. Finally, the way they have handled a recent glitch within the game shows that they don’t actually care about the players because they are too worried about taking care about their bottom line. Take a not from Cygames which after player displeasure with certain actions taken have become widely accepted by many as a great developer which cares about its user base. In summary, fix the rates of pulling characters that are featured/rate-boosted, lower the price of gems/actually provide price cut gem sales, and actually prove that you care about your users otherwise this review is staying at 1 star.

Rates. Nice game, found a little bug though, when you go onto a battle and complete the quest and have your character box full, some of the characters you get are unplayable and can only be found in the sell icon, it happened to my QCK Usopp (from rare recruit) and QCK Rebecca (from coliseum) please fix!

5 STARS 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. I’ve been trying to find a One Piece game that I can play and this is the perfect one for me. If you like adventure and know the storyline for One Piece then I would highly recommend playing this game! There are some features that I think should be added: (if they are already added ignore it) there should be a sound feature for Uta e.g. she sings new genesis or one of the songs from One Piece, film red and you should put in panda man. If you don’t know who that is, he appears in the manga, most of the time in the S.B.S. Question Corner. I would have never been so happy if I didn’t download this game! Thank you! Love this game but. It's rates for the rarest characters in the game (sugofests) are really bad compared to the Japanese version and I've spend over $250 plus on this game and only gotten 2 after a year of playing

Great game however.... Rarest characters are specifically reduced during supposed “rate increased events”. Misleading and borderline false advertising of events and rate boosts. Steps recently have improved the situation somewhat.

After the recent incident.... Bandai were good with OPTC until a recent screw up on their part. Didn’t stop ranking events, did a 10hr maintenance and then an extra 7 days to fix the problem. They blamed the players for their screw up. Bandai aren’t allowing refunds even if Bandai’s screw up was the reason for the additional purchases to reach certain milestones. When there is a problem, get on top of it and fix and suspend ingame events that will be affected by it so players aren’t screwed around. Compensation? 10mil berries (which is easily obtainable ingame from an easy stage on extra island). Very insulting. When a company blames the player base but doesn’t stop ingame ranking events that are affected by their screw up - there is a problem with the company itself. Will change my rating and review If and WHEN Bandai does the right thing again.

OPTC best game ever. Oh...............My...............Goshhhhh! This game is literally the best everyone reading this review download the game right NOW! It’s just so distracting gives you some time off your guises lives and it’s very challenging in a way to, what I would have to say that’s negative though is that I spend sooo long saving 50 gems for multi pull for a six star but sadly, don’t get one. Other than that this game is really truly awesome and love to play it. By the way, I have six star Akainu.

This game is good. This game is a great strategy rpg game that follows the plot and has events based on the anime and manga of One Piece. Now I notice that there have been reviews on this game where one pulls for characters and doesn’t get what they wanted; and to that all that can be said is: it’s a gatcha game, character pulls are all luck of the draw based. Now I’ve played this game without putting in a single cent for almost a year now and I can say that I have some of the best characters in the game such as v2 Akainu and g4 v2. The only problem I find is that it’s very strenuous to farm for rainbow gems when in the later stages of the game as content becomes more challenging and takes longer to clear. Like if we could earn a gem for every level we cleared (taken from how they do so in dragon ball Dokkan) it would be much easier for to gain gems. The game is fun. It’s update very frequently (roughly once to twice a week) and most importantly it doesn’t get boring as new content and characters is being added constantly. If you are looking to start this game please get the global version as global content is usually improved after contents initial release on the Japan version.

Addictive. This game was just something I saw in the App Store one day and just said sure... best decision ever. This game is just so fun and addictive and I just find myself actually playing for hours, waiting for my stamina to recharge in game and having an amazing time. If you are a fan of One Piece, you need this game.

One Piece Fans. One piece fans will love this game. So many characters appear. It is different to other games, I really like the fighting style. Fun and addictive to play. Plus you can play it comfortably without paying. Log in each day to gain special currency.

Good game and all but.... Hello, I just recently downloaded the new 8.2.3 update and whenever I try to get into the game I would freeze in the loading screen. And then crash, is there anyway you can fix this as I need to log in for my daily gems haha. Help would be appreciated, I play on my iPad mini by the way.

Good but.... It’s good however there used to be an option to bulk download everything so u don’t have to wait for cutscenes to download on each and every level. Now it’s gone. Can u bring it back.

All fun!. The game is cool and pretty much fun, it loses a star partly because during the start of the game and a few weeks after that, there isnt any notification to remind you to back up your game data. So you guessed it when i upgraded to a new phone installed the game and was shocked to find im not able to recover back the old game data. There is a recovery process but it needs data such as player id which sadly i didnt copy down nor was i aware when i was engrossed playing it. Oh well at least it was just the few weeks of play gone. Still loving this game to burn time. FYI, this game downloads really a lot of data.

Game is fine, but crashes constantly, even when your wi fi is good. And on top of that, automatically crashes as soon as you do a 11 draw, so you can’t see what you get Been playing for about 10 mins, and I’ve probably crashed like 6 times. Even once I got into a game, as soon as I started a mission it crashed. Don’t waste your time on this unstable garbage.

Awesome game. This is a great game my only issue being I played when it first came out is that it feels too easy by opening all the areas to be able to venture, I miss the challenge of pushing through the game to get to the newest stories. Other than that awesome game play it!

Too Easy. I just recently re downloaded this game and I must say I liked it better back in the days when you had to grind hard for berries to try and get rare characters. Youd be stuck on a level for days until tou finally powered up your characters or got lucky and finally pulled a rare. Now you instantly get rares and powerful characters straight from the start and thw grind is just boring now

Insane. I have almost 500 days logged in consecutively and I am not bored. Sometimes the game gets a bit boring but that is rare because of the sheer amount of updates. Also characters and their art is amazing. It keeps up with the book and a nice story mode to follow. Al cards are decently balanced and fun to recruit new characters characters. Definitely a must.

Great game. I am in love with this game. Started playing it when it had just come out but quit after reaching lvl 100. Now I’m back with a new account. It’s making me love OP even more. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the gem prices. Other games offer a lot more for the prices OPTC charges. Please consider that. Thanks, still.

Best mobile game.. I absolutely love this game. I've only start watching One Piece - only up to the Sky Island arc as I'm writing this review - but so far, there seems to be a lot of characters, the friend and rare pulls always yield good characters and the game play is simple and one of the best mechanics. Way better than Dokkan battle - and I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan!

Chotto Sugoi!. This game is alright. Any One Piece fan will enjoy it. Follows the story, let's you make your own crews, it’s interactive. The sugo fest rates however are garbage and if you’re a f2p player, you’ll never get anything good. Even if you spend actual money, you’re not guaranteed anything good. It needs fixing.

Great fun and my One Piece fix!. Only just getting started but so far it is great fun. Also getting to see all my favorite characters is great. Can't wait to keep playing. Just make sure you're using wifi for all the downloads required.

New year glitch. The way your team handled this process was more than a joke, laughable at how ridiculous it was. I’m a vet player, been playing for close to 1700 days and have lost faith in this game now. Your company, thanks to us the players are now big enough to own the *$&# up you made. But no... got childish and made everything about $$ and had a tantrum. Good job Bandai, you really know how to treat your long running players. Keep it up aye....

Bandai scam!. Finding out that you lower drop rates for players who spend a lot of money playing what was once a good game, false advertisement on double drop rates for certain characters. I will not be play playing this full time anymore but instead will move to the JP version and spending my money over there where you spend money and get back something that's worth.

Bandai slowly turning the game P2P. Bandai has slowly been moving the game in a P2P direction, which has become more noticeable over the past year. There is a massive lack of content, and when something finally comes out, most of the said content is built around relying on the new banner units. Not only this, Bandai has communicated months ago that they would be making new content, and we are still yet to see anything. Since their communication, the most we’ve had is recycled content e.g Kizuna, Treasure Map and small arena events. (All of which are heavily reliant on using new characters) I will continue to play, mainly as I’ve put too much time in, but until Bandai listens to it’s community the game is a hollow shell of what it used to be. Bandai needs to make changes before the community drops out and the game dies, it’s only a matter of time before it turns out like Naruto Blazing.

Best game there is. This game is so amazing and I love how it takes you through the one piece universe. There are so many characters to collect and I like the fact that you can make your crew however you want.

Down Down Down. I remember playing this game years ago when it first started up and it was grindy & fun to play. I came back to try it out again recently and can honestly say that this game has completely gone DOWNHILL. So many free summons for new players…no more grinding early levels. Theres no fun in this game anymore..just freebies galor

Disappointed. I played this game when it first started and love it! I just started playing fresh again to see how its going now and I got to say that I am not interested anymore. Dont get me wrong, the game play is still good and the only thing I hate is how everybody gets all these free top characters straight off the bat. It was a lot more enjoyable when you had to work hard for to level up your characters and HOPE that you got a good character once youve grinded your berries. It was fun using the starter characters you get while progressing through the missions, having to level them up, struggling to complete a mission because your characters wernt strong enough. I logged on to see 71 mail in my inbox with all these free berries, rainbows and characters. Free stuff is nice but players just receive WAY too much now. Ok rant over xD

Can’t load into the game. Ever since updating to the new iOS I have not been able to load into the game, it’s been very frustrating considering the amount of time I’ve put in to it, I would like to know if this plans on being fixed any time soon? Besides that it’s a very enjoyable game.

It’s AMAZING although.... I love it. It’s a great game and all but for this past week every day I log in, there has been a download. I’m usually fine with the game installing new data but it has been going crazy. Every time, it’s like 20-30 minutes so it’s starting to get annoying. Overall the gameplay is fun and entertaining so I guess the wait is kind of worth it.

Fun Game, Spoilers for the Anime. The basic concept of the game is to tap on a character’s banner to make them attack enemies, and when that character attacks, text will appear in a ring and move closer together. Then the player has to try tapping another character’s banner when the text moves into the middle, dealing more damage the closer the text is. It continues this chain for up to 6 times before a big red button appears in the middle, which the player has to press similarly to the explained above. The game is about One Piece, so you can expect spoilers from the story mode and characters unlocked from the gacha system. The game is free to play but the player can choose to purchase the currency. I recommend to play this game if you’re caught up on One Piece or don’t mind spoilers.

Optc is a great game but since the glitch 01/01/2020 most of player stop playing because of a lack of communcation, Bandai décide to remove all the bug item and make a rollback that a good idea but they decide to remove all the legit gems you have on your account. Amazing game! just a few things...... Hey! I love the game and anime i have never watched one piece so i can bot say much though. I do have a few things, first of all, the tutorial is way to long i do delete the game and get it back a bunch and i just hate having to go through the tutorial, maybe try and put it all into one thing. Second is, you need to STOP sending notifications at 5:00 am in the morning, i get like 3 of each Notification. But other wise i know that some of the stuff is un-controllable like the notifications, but if you could fix that you should. And remember i do LOVE the game.

Character recruiting rates added. Re-writing this games previous review- I always enjoyed the game but was frustrated because it contains in game mechanics which are basically gambling, but they’re essential to success in the game. To recruit powerful characters, you spend in game currency at a CHANCE to recruit them. Since the games launch (2014), the probability of pulling a rare recruit has always been hidden. Today OPTC has added these probabilities into the game, and we now know what we’re spending our money on. Hopefully, we can be wiser about spending now. Very fun game, the devs do a pretty good job of listening to the players!

Current Situation with the game. So by now I’m sure a lot of people have either quit this game or have requested refunds. The way the situation was handled with the most recent glitch is unforgivable. I’m not even really mad with the glitch except for the part where I spent real money when other players got stuff for free in two separate ranking events. This allowed them to rank higher for free instead of having to spend money to get the units needed to rank higher easily. I don’t know if I’m gonna continue to play, but I do know that after playing faithfully for almost 3 years I will no longer be spending any money on this game.

The one piece does exist!. I’ve loved the game and the updates since the beginning and the new rumble mode is amazing! So many different modes so you never get bored. The story is done well so you can experience the general story, and the events are a great way to throw in non story components. Freemium at its finest! The sugo exclusives are 🔥and if you spend 100s of dollars you can get the best crew on a day or 2.... or you can play for a few years and slowly grind and clash your way to the top! They haven’t touched campaign in awhile, very surprised by that, but they fixed the load time for me. Went from 10-20 minutes to seconds to load up.

This game is just fantastic an absolute must have. Where do I even begin actually the only thing I can say is that it is perfect for any one piece fan and great for entertainment on the go it if you have wifi that is also isn't an extremely pay to play game so you don't have to worry about that because they give you gems almost everyday and have discounts on some multis but you still can get unlucky and some other draw backs are that they use still images to tell the story but that’s more of a nit pick and it has a lot of stages and mechanics you may not pick up on when you run through it your first time

I love one piece. I have been playing and watching one piece since I was 8 and now I am 10 almost 11 I’m turning 11 on April 23 which is the new update I am really excited for it and big thanks for the 150 rainbow gems I was able to pull bullet witch really helped me out and another big thanks for the Series of one piece it really comes me down when I’m in a bad mood it’s sad and I love that and not to mention there are many other one piece games to and the biggest reason I like it is because is the characters for instance Luffy, Zoro, and Ace and that is why I love one piece so much.

Fun game, disgusting business practices. I've been playing Treasure Cruise for a few years now, and as a game on its own, it's a pretty fantastic mobage. However, the business practice used by Bandai-Namco, as well as the overall treatment of their players, is disgusting. Constant cash grab Sugofests that are happening almost weekly now, immense power creep of new units to encourage buying currency, tuning new content to coincide with newly released content and "encourage" players to spend big for new units, and a Gacha structured to reward huge whales while damaging their attempts to roll anything outside of guaranteed units via (currently unconfirmed) algorithms within the Gacha to lower rates to constant players, an attempt to yank former players back in and encourage them to spend money for their "lucky" 6 star roll. Don't give these leeches a dime, as they'd gladly bleed you dry with their "generosity" as soon as you give them a chance.

It’s pretty good but I have some issues. Look I’m not trying to put this game down this game because it can be fun sometimes but I have three main gripes about it. The first being the rates are super unfair I did almost all the the summons for gear 5 and i still didn’t get it and I was so angry and I mean if they don’t fix it this game will be unplayable for me and 2. How hard it is to get gems without paying for it is unacceptable i mean how would you feel if you didn’t have the money for that kinda stuff and you just played the game and got NO gems 3. Disappointed. Used to play this game all the time, now all it does is load load load load. Stuck on initial loading screen, then goes on to another download, but it never moves past that. Debating on deleting it but it took soooo long to finally get a good rare card. Please fix, or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong. Already have it set to bulk download to avoid this initially. Update: thanks to the new update, the game has been nonstop "downloading", started last night at 8pm, finally finished loading at 5am, only to receive notice "update available" so now we are downloading some More. I am pretty sure I will run out of storage space due to this. Would like to award this game with -3 stars. Update #2. Game wouldn't download on one of its routine downloads, which was every morning, even tho I had already done the bulk download since I first played it...long story short. Had to uninstall and reinstalled. That fixed the problem. But it deleted all I had. Everything. Now I'm a newb once more.

Sad... Sad to se the game deteriorated to such a level. Barely playable now. New events that need to download additional data always gets frozen, and even with restarting the game, it gets stuck. So basically unable to play at all, unless I want to play level or events I’ve already completed. What point is having high speed internet when I can’t download a 7 megabyte update for a level. It takes me 20 minutes to download a 40gig game on Xbox, but can’t download a level?? Give me a break. After over 2 years playing, I never thought these types of trash issues would make me quit the game. So much wasted money. Spent over $200 since playing and can’t even fix minor problems. Same with all developers, just pocket the money they make, and not reinvest into the game at all.

One Piece: Game Crash Edition. This game is extremely fun to play and a great way to kill time. The gameplay is easy to learn and hard to master. With so many characters and the way they compliment one another it’s easy to become a bit confused. The visuals are pleasing, but the story dialogue is easily forgettable and you will soon find yourself skipping through every cutscene to get back to the gameplay. Overall worth the download. HOWEVER. This game crashes harder than Paul Walker piloting the Challenger Shuttle. The worst offense being at the end of an event level where I’ve lost all the wanted posters that have been collected, along with the gems used during the mission. You WILL NOT get more than 10 minutes of gameplay without the app freezing up, with a 50/50 chance of the game crashing all together before it catches back up.

Hard to collect gems. I love one piece and i loved playing this game but the problem is this game doesn’t treat f2ps very well , in every jrpg i played there’s a certain time where i have to pay to continue playing the game, usually months of playing, in that time you’ll consider paying for the game becaue it took you months to reach where you are, unfortunately in OPTC it took me 10 days to reach a corner where i have to pay to continue playing the game, not to mention that the prices are very high for a little amount of gems, it’s unbelievable how greed ruind this game for me. But i have to thank them for there events, even though it depends on your characters to beat it but it’s easy unless you want to reach high ranks .

Long time player. I’ve played this game as both a pay to win kind of were I buy gems for sugofest and one that has just played it completely free and built good teams naturally. You can play it either way the only thing is understanding the game and knowing how to build a good team and having a high enough level to have a good cost to build a good team. I’m glad to see them finally have gear 4 added I know they favor japan servers more and add everything there first but I’d like to see them add the yonkos and their commanders they already have shanks and some of his crew and Blackbeard and his main crew members and the next people to be added should be big mom and her main crew members but overall it’s a pretty good game.

Redemption is REALLY needed. I should not have to wait 10+ minutes to even play because of a stupid unnecessary download. I will forgive all should you decide to fix this unfortunate issue. Needs some improvements. The games great the only problems I see with it is that if you delete the game or get a new device all of your game data is gone with almost no way to recover it this would be my third installment of the game I had exclusive characters that I can no longer get as well as I need to start from the beginning again when I was almost at Sabaody also it is very difficult to get gems unless you want to pay for them if there was a way that you could save your data to the cloud or link an account to it as well as an easier way to get gems the game would be much more enjoyable

I love this game but. You should know what kind of game it is. This game is way more fun to play and more free to play friendly than any other games of it's kind (the titan that is dokkan battle included). BUT Bandai is doing some weird behind the scenes manipulation of numbers in contrast of what in game numbers would lead you to believe. I didn't believe it myself and just attested it to bad luck until someone got a data dump from the game and posted it on Reddit. So what does that mean? Play the game! Just don't spend a bunch of money trying to get those super good characters, because it's pretty much the same as buying lottery tickets, even if they are "boosted."

Developers are too greedy. Beside the cool designs of characters and story , The reason I gave it two stars is the ridiculous gems it costs to pull out the Sufo fest. I spent Almost $150 but the game gave me trash character. Same on you developers. People please don’t spend real money, you will end up like me. Another reason is the game has poor backup data system. I played the game for years back to 2012, took a break because I couldn’t proceed further due to game was built P2w. I recently reinstalled it and couldn’t get back my account. Contact customer service a few times but the issue is still there. Lesson that the developers never told you, go to settings first before playing and copy all information there.

Title bugs. I have played one piece for a long time. But now it won’t even load in the game and will be stuck on the loading screen while still playing music and will just connect me out of the app itself. I know it’s not my internet connection because I’ve tried multiple times of changing networks, different routers, LTE only, even restarting and turning off my whole phone completely. I have deleted the app and got back on trying to get in yet it still won’t load in the game. I hope you and your developers can try and fix this bug for me so I can enjoy this game again and not eat a migraine from just trying to wait for it to never load in

Addicted. My friend had started playing this game two weeks before me and has spent money on the game and I have already caught up to him in the game without spending a dime and that's what I freakin love about this game it's not all about the money. On top of that there are over 5000+ characters and evolves with different ways to upgrade and change their stats, a great story, islands to help you get things to need to evolve, and the menu and set up is easy to figure out and fluent. Honestly if you like the show, anime in general or even just like upgrading and evolving this game is for you

An issue when opening the game. Every time I launch the app, it will always download something... and it takes about 20 minutes every time it happens... lately it has been happening once a day, when I open the game for the first time during the day. It has been doing this for the past week. I’m not sure what’s wrong. I have good internet connection. Hopefully... these random download times are fixed.. unless these download times are done purposely... and you if it is, then there should be a shorter download time... please fix.. or improve

Too many downloads. First off I want to start by saying I love the game. Very fun. However, my one complaint is the constant daily downloads. I usually have to wait 5–10 minutes everyday just to login. And the “compensation” is only 1 gem or sometimes nothing at all. Everyone who has played or is playing the game knows that 1 gem does nothing. I also realize that they don’t have to give any compensation at all and when they do, it’s wonderful. It’s just getting to the point where logging in isn’t worth it anymore and that’s sad. I enjoy this game very much when I do play.

Small problem please help. So every time I get on the game it forces me to do an update,( but there is no new content) first I thought it was but after 2 weeks of updates it didn’t seem right. the download bonus box doesn’t work and the download takes forever. I’m on good WiFi so that’s not the problem. I’m currently level 243 and this never happened before. I also have to see the how to use the limit break and how to power up the characters tutorials, every time I get on the game. Please help, I like the game and I hate to quit it because I have to wait for updates every time open the app.

Make global as good as Japan. The Japanese version is way more advanced that any other version of this game. The Japanese have been given free legends in the past events, but on global, we get a couple of gems at best. I get that OPTC came out a couple of years earlier in Japan than it did globally, but it still doesn't make sense that gets free legends, but global gets 10 gems. Japan is about to get their second free legend. Bandai is just showing Japan way more love than global. Bandai is currently doing insane giveaways on the Japanese version, such as 3200 gems, or all the characters from the dressrosa arc including all the legends. I do understand it's just a giveaway, but I don't see them doing stuff like that on global. While that's going on in Japan, global players are playing content that came out months before on the Jp version. I'll change my rating when Bandai gives some good changes to he global versio.

Very good. Love the anime, love the manga, iPad game is very enjoyable. Combat has almost an Mario RPG feel to it. Free game. Though p2p is quicker. Game plays more comfortably on my iPhone. Just less awkward to hold. New content weekly. Rainbow gems are used to pull new characters from tavern. It's a crap shoot. Some people get 5 star rayleighs others get 3 star crokus ... It can frustrate. Pokemon aspect to the game where you find yourself trying to get all the chars. Still playing over 2 years. Highly recommend this game! Mario rpg, Pokémon and one piece had a baby. Love the team building aspect of the game as well. Blitz battles are less then ideal in that the half stamina is dramatically effects ranking and if your not in an ideal time zone your hosed....

Been in the dark for too long. Please push for the company to publish rates for all pulls. Why? Transparency. This way there are rates for which they can be held accountable for. Otherwise they can get away with misleading advertising and stating "higher" chances for new units when in reality are absolutely abysmal in comparison to other similarly ranked units. The Japanese version of this game is a different game?? That's their justification for everything. Please explain how it is a different game besides the treatment of its fan base and the progress of the releases? It is the same exact game. Sure content is released at different times, but at the end of the day.. it's all the same.

Global has been cheating us loyal fans out of our money... our sugo rates are very low and the base trash characters have the highest rates in the game, I have spent hundreds of dollars for "rated up characters" and I always pull the same exact things. Now a Reddit form has been realized showing us the truth behind global optc. They refuse to post sugo fest rates and they refuse to actually increase the chances of legendary characters during sugos. The entire community has revolted and raged now everyone is boycotting buying gems. Cheating us out of our money has just cost you thousands from your fans... get your act together and realese sugo rates. You crooks

Korean influx not fair to global players. Dear Bandai Representative, While we are excited to see the merger of the Global server and Korean servers of One Piece Treasure Cruise there are some changes that have massive ramifications for not only the competitive aspects of the game but the economy as well. With the merger of servers Korean players Extra Islands, Colosseums, and Story islands completion statuses will be reset. In addition to chopper man missions. These mission and island rewards as well as gems given to Korean players post-merger will create a massive disparity in the gem economy. Allowing Korean players to obtain powerful SugoFest exclusive units and rank far higher in Pirate festival as well as Treasure Map, Blitz Battles, and other ranking events for free or at a massively reduced cost compared to English and French Players. Please consider resetting all missions and island completion for all players across the global server to create a fair and balanced atmosphere for all players to enjoy. The issues are glaring. This is a great game and I've been playing it for 2 years, but the difference between how Bandai Namco treats it's Global players vs the Japanese players is disheartening. It used to be that Global was just behind the content Japan got, which was perfectly fine, I was even ok with movie related bosses only having a limited release, but by this point Japan had improved Skill Up rates, better pull rates, and free legend give aways. While Global has received none of this, but we are being given the more difficult in-game content which makes things ridiculously harder. I just wish we could get a reward from Bandai that's not just a clear indication to bleed us for gems and money.

Improved. Better game than before . They rate-boost incorrect classes/characters and manipulate odds in their favor. Will not make purchases ever again. I purchased gems during sugofest hoping to get good characters but had horribly bad luck. Even though they had rate boosted striker class, I was getting character from other classes that were inferior to story characters. It was a total rip off. I wish I could get my money back. Very dishonest and they don’t seem to care. This needs to addressed and fixed immediately. They are hopefully making things right

Good, but messes up a lot. It’s a decent game for fans of the show, but sometimes the game messes up when it comes to obtaining characters. A recent example; yesterday I was playing the Big Mom treasure map and I got to the reward that gives 25x Zoro and 25x Sanji, but it only gave me the Zoros, which is a big deal since both the characters are needed to evolve them. A day before that I was playing the same event and there was a reward of giving one of each, but again no Sanji. One of the biggest ones was a sign fest not too long ago, maybe a few weeks. I pulled a “Fateful Struggle to the Death Sakazuki” which I had eyes on for at least a few months, so you can imagine my disappointment when I looked in my character box and it wasn’t there. So basically, if you get a rare character, you might not actually get that character.

One piecetastic. Best one piece game out still today love it and a fan of the anime manga everything that has to do with one piece ... the only thing that needs a little bit is the leveling up the characters after a quest or adventure or even the story let them earn a little exp points not saying that the way it is with the turtles is bad is not just let them earn a little bit after a quest or adventure and story.... I have a question though why can’t we use our berries to buy rare recuits or bottles for our ships best game ever

4.7. I’ve been playing this game for the better part of 6 years and I’ve loved it !! Great events and gameplay but my only issue is that I’m currently unable to access some of my characters. I see them as “POWER UP MATERIAL” but I can’t do anything to affect their stats at all or even access them in the “CHARACTER LIST” option. I would appreciate it if someone could take this bug into consideration, along with the no “Save/Login” option. Thank You For Your Time & I’m Looking Forward To Future Updates

Pretty entertaining and mostly follows the anime. Some things that could be done a bit better is explaining the mechanics of the game a bit better (such as leveling up, getting new characters, evolution, retargeting enemies mid-strike, powers, bomb slots, etc). Most of these have been fixed in special missions on extra island. 7.1.0 Edit: The previous issues I mentioned above have been fixed through training courses on Extra Isle and after completing/failing missions tips. The new issue I would really like to see fixed is that the "missions" get added to each area as a new area is added. NOTICE: DO NOT DELETE YOUR GAME WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE (not well known) STEPS. I HAD TOO BECAUSE IT WAS REFUSING TO START AND I COULDN'T GET ACCESS TO SUPPORT. I SCREWED UP AND LOST ALL MY PROGRESS BY DOING SO. I oringinally gave this 4/5, but as long as this flaw exists it will remain 1/5. I would love to give it an infinitesimal review, but that doesn't exist.

Love It so far.... Edit:2017 It's getting harder to actually receive the characters you want, it's still pretty fun though. It's just pushing me away it seems. ---------------------------------------- 2015 I'm a die hard fan of One Piece and I am often disappointed by third party One Piece Content. This is not the case. I am re-editing this review to say I can't believe i've been playing this game for about 2 years now. It is addicting and a must for any one piece fan. The difficulty starts to ramp up eventually but there are ways around it. I wish there were more giveaways.

They're screwing us over. I've played this game since it was first released and have loved it the whole time, but I always seemed to get screwed on pulling new characters. I wrote it off as just bad luck, but with the recent news about bandai manipulating pull rates to screw players over, I can't in good conscience leave a good review or support the game by buying more gems. On top of this, the treatment of the global version of this game is abysmal in comparison to the treatment of the Japan version (worse events, worse sugos, altogether withholding good content like tome island, and withholding game improvements such as permanently increased skill up rates). Until these issues are properly addressed, I will be leaving my review at 1 star and abstaining from buying gems. The game is very fun, but taking advantage of your player base and screwing them over is unacceptable

Great game. I have been playing for about a year now and love just about every aspect of this game. It really is great! As long as you stay away from Rare Recruit and don't get sucked into Sugo-fests, that is! I have done 5 or 6 Sugo-fests now, some spending money on more gems to make the 50 needed for 10+1, and in all of those (that's 66 characters mind you) I have never gotten even one of the exclusive, powered up, or special characters they claim you can get in these. So stay away from the 10+1 stuff and use your gems to continue in quests where you can earn characters! You'll be happy you did!

Great game, has had some serious content flaws. I’ve put a lot of time into this game over several years, and had a lot of fun. Even spent some money on it because if I spend this much time on a game the team behind it deserves it, especially for a free game not shoving ads in my face. Recently we’ve been losing out on a lot of content that appeared on the Japan server, such as Team Kizunas and blitz battles, which has resulted in a lot of lost rewards, which is highly unfortunate. Some events have been lost to the ether, and some community rewards such as rewards based on total gems spent have gone unseen. There’s also the question of how will the current Global community be fairly compensated once the Korean community merges to our server, keeping all of their progress but being able to re-earn various rewards from the game, giving them a massive advantage versus the current global players for further competitive ranking events. I still enjoy the game, but wish to see an improvement in the current management. I hope things go back to the usual level of enjoyment soon.

Fun if you can play it. I love the concept of the game and the wide variety of characters, I use to play it all the time and couldn’t remember why I got rid of it so I redownloaded it to play again. And I remember why. EVERY time you open it the game has a new download that takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to download. I mean EVERY DAY there’s another download. It’s just not worth waiting so long for a download all the time for a phone game. Wish I could rate it higher but it feels like I’m wasting time with these constant downloads

Awesomely Addictive!. This game is fantastic! I love the show and the game follows the story so well. It's easy to play but the variety of characters is so great that you can satisfy any strategy you'd wish to employ, or if you aren't into strategy you can just play with a team of hot babes! I’d say you gotta catch ‘em all but there are way too many potential characters, so everyones game is a bit unique. The constant changes to extra island always keep it fresh, and with the new beginner quests they've added it's easier to get started than ever, and treasure mode will get you some powerful character right off the bat. I can't put it down!

Great game!. I’ve been playing this game for about two years now. I played on an old iPhone but lost all my data when I got a new phone (be sure to back up your data just in case). Honestly though, It didn’t even stop my from downloading the game again. The only downside is that the in game purchases are limited to buying gems and how expensive it is. I don’t ever spend money on phone games but I have no regrets purchasing extra gems just so I can partake in the Sugo-Fest events. Super entertaining and if you’re a one piece fan, you’ll love this game.

How long until the update?. Haven’t been able to use the snails for over 2 years now. (Thanks for the updates) as for the 2x special up and power up chance it’s still complete garbage. Just gave one of the characters 15 of the same character even when we have the extra 2x chance for lvl up and it just went up 2 lvl what a joke. So much for farming. The tapping thing is also getting old why not change it to something more interacting something similar to puzzles and dragons. And while you are at it also implement there evo material stacking, to minimize the use of the boxes. Other wise this game waste way to much of your time. And in the end it might not even be worth it 2 special lvl up what a Joke

Global rates are awful!. Please read the following: The rates on global are worse than what you try to make us believe. We've gathered data that proves that not only you're lying about the rates, but that you take a certain unknown player variable that determines what the player gets from the pulls, thus punishing active and paying players with less than less active and more casual players. Enough proof has be gathered which is strenghtening our assumption. We have to believe, until you prove us wrong by being as transparent as you're on japan, that the rates you claim to offer are simply wrong. We simply have no transparency and based on our gathered data there is no reason to believe you as a company anymore, thus we lost our faith in you as an honest company. We feel like we're taking advantage of. We as a community expect your statement.

Almost there.. I have been playing this game for almost three weeks and I’m addicted. I like card games that have great artwork and it’s one piece! 2 for 1 in my book. The fighting mechanic can be difficult, but you can press autoplay to make it easier. The downside is after the initial join boost it’s harder to gain jewel fruits.(special currency)Your inventory gets full very quickly and you don’t know which cards evolve more.(maybe there’s a way to know?) You can’t have different versions of the same character on one team and most parts of the game have a load screen before cut scenes. Otherwise a pretty decent. If your not sure, I’d at least try out the game.

Solid Game however…. As a one piece fan this game checks off all the boxes in terms of all the characters being playable, how easy it is to play the game, and that it’s not a complete grind to get gems to summon. However, what could use a re-vamp or implementation is perhaps a way for example, I want to level up Nami I wish all the Nami’s I have would be at the top of the characters I have instead of havin to scroll through everything. I’ve spent many an hour just fusing characters when it could be an absolute quality of life improvement to make such an important part of the game much easier to use.

Come back after 1 year. Quit one year ago due to too frequent sugo-fest but too bad rates and too many problems ull for guaranteed sugo-rare units. Also many youtubers I used to subscribe also quit optic due to the reason above. The game has adopt some better idea of making fewer pulls for guaranteed sugo-rare units but I still don’t like the new idea of too many “sugo-rare or rate-boosted” that no sugo-rare units shown. It’s already too many characters so the rate of pulling duplicates orgarbage characters is much higher and the rate of pulling desired character would only becomes lower as more new characters are coming out. Pity that still don’t see optic take actions on improving this.

For every One Piece and RPG fan. Though I didn’t find the battle system too engaging at first, it only gets better as you progress. With a huge amount of collectible characters and missions, it will keep you busy for years (no exaggeration) and is perfect for die hard OP fans. Much of it is reminiscent of the Pokémon games, when you are collecting new units, building your team, evolving and maxing, but OPTC takes it to another level with strategy. It has a great online community and Bandai isn’t too too stingy with requiring pay to play as they give a lot of opportunities to get gems for free.

They listen to feedback. Old one piece treasure cruise was a different ballgame, way less activities in the apps such as pirate rumble not even existing yet. Also rainbow gems used to only be given out after certain login streaks, app updates, and on special occasions. Nowadays there’s many different games within this game. Island events don’t seem to matter nearly as much as they used to back when you new characters for each year Halloween came. The app is heavily geared towards veteran players but gives you such an insane catch up mechanic that you won’t have much of an issue being on the same level as most players. Only complaint atm: Korean players keep winning every event and contest bc they can play while we westerners are asleep giving them a huge advantage in the last few hours of the tournaments. There used to be an American only app ver for this game but it was over a year worth of content behind at one point so they just merged the two.

Biggest cash grab game ever!!!. I have been playing for a lot of time already, approximately 1/2 year and the only reason why I’m giving it 1 star is because the horrible rates in their banners, in most cases you need to spend thousands of gems ( translates to a couple hundreds dollars ) and sometimes that don’t even secure a new unit from the banner, you can easily spend 300 dollars and walk out with a bunch of old unit dupes if you don’t go all the way down into the banner steps ( my case with the ongoing banner… ) compare it to genshin or final fantasy brave EXVIUS and you’ll notice the HUGE p2w difference !! Don’t let the freebies fool you, nice animation and play style but be aware of the p2w stuff, if you are getting this game to be good at it, I recommend you play something else or be ready to be a whale

Great but a few flaws.. This game is great and amazing! It’s got such crazy depth to it and you can pause your stage whenever something comes up(definitely worth a try). The game is very generous with its gems for pulling new characters and generally has fun events with even more rewards. One reason it didn’t get 5 stars from me is because it has its issues...Currently it’s because an event happened recently where we were supposed to get legend pulls as rewards and were still getting them but it was delayed into a sugofest. What I would pull from those rewards if I got them anywhere near on time would affect how many pulls I’d potentially do this sugo. It’s minor mess ups like this that really stop the game from shining brighter than the friggen sun!

Huge one piece fan.. I loved this game starting off a year ago. But as if kept playing and tres to level up and evolve me characters. I noticed if I needed a specific drop. Say a INT dragon or a Seaking I would end up going through 200 stamina and either have to wait for hours to try again or buy gems and repeat and after today with having absolutely no luck with getting what I needed I’m done wasting money and time on this game. There are no drop rates, no odds for something appearing it feels absolutely stacked against the player and makes me feel like the company has made a game where you’ll have to wait hours or pay up. Well no longer.
