Great!. Does what it supposed to do!

Not disappointed. The service is very useful, and I'm not disappointed at all. Sometimes it is a little slow but it always comes through.

Subscription. I have an active subscription but it’s berthing man I have no subscription and I cannot brows on zero vpn time.

Good and Bad. I have subscribed for almost 2 years. Since I am in China most of the time, I need a VPN to reach certain websites. ARK VPN can be good when it works but it also loses its connectivity. I couldn’t connect for 3 months last year. Finally, about 4 months ago, it worked again. But now it is not. So frustrating! It also gets hung up with the constant updating it does while using it. I can understand it doing this with free users but I pay for the service. It halts the signal and I have to disconnect and start again after the updates. I probably won’t pay for another year. Too frustrating and not smart to pay for something I can’t use year round.

Good experience using all over the world. Excellent VPN. I have used this all over the world, (including in China in 2015, which allowed me to circumvent the great fire wall).

Lost free daily bonus time. I have been collecting the free daily plan bonus for years and I had 207 hours saved yesterday. Today, it says I have zero and doesn't display an option to collect time/that I still need to wait before collecting. Is this a glitch? Did I lose all my hours?

Highly suspicious activity. Why would an app want my passcode for anything or a sign in for my iTunes account? The answer is simple, theft of my account or cc info. Not happening. I hope I'm wrong because I used to think it was a decent VPN, not great due to no encrypted tunnel

It works well. The on demand is a little hit or miss, but it works and I don't notice any slowdown in the connection. Worth 20 bucks for a year.

Decent speeds until it “updates”. When ever I use the vpn when it “updates” it loses connection it is really annoying please fix it.

Decent connection but horrible connection time. So I saw this and read the reviews and decided that it would be worth it to try it out to see if it could replace vpn 360 which is having issues at the moment and I logged into it and noticed that as a free member(don’t have the money to waste on it as I am a poor student) and it only has 3 hours of free runtime so I deleted it instantly because i need it to at least be able to run 8 hours a day

Good alternative. I live in China where we need VPN to access pretty much anything on the net ... So I have a paid VPN, but need an alternative for times when my usual one is blocked.. Ark is good and free

Good. It allows me to go onto facebook, messenger, line and kakaotalk. It can be easily used by everyone. Really recommend it if you are going to china or other countries that cannot get onto these apps.

What more could you want?. This is great, it's so simple. Basically just install configure (settings that are just choosing your location etc) and away it goes I tested it and it's perfect. Even added a VPN profile in my phone. Cheers to the developer,I much appreciate.

It's a excellent app, but I forum something really weird. Given that the range of everyday reward is between 20 minutes and 10 hours, I feel really uncomfortable when I got only 15 minutes this morning. I am not mean with this app, but I think it should follow its words.

ArkVPN works it's magic in China. Allows me to Use Facebook and Google almost all the time! Yay!! It may fail now and then but in the scheme of things it's only a slight inconvenience!

Cannot cancel subscription. The Japan server kept crashing in China so I thought I'd cancel the subscription. Guess what? The cancel subscription link in the app led me to a manage my subscriptions page in the iTunes Store, where the only options given to me were renewal options... And a month isn't even up yet. FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY, YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS ARE MISLEADING

The best vpn experience so far. Simple to use, just one click. And you got free time with everyday checkin. But somehow sometimes is not that stable, especially in China.

Good but unstable. I'm in China, thisVPN is quite good if connected, but sometime it cannot connect with the server. A when I selected AUTO connection with the fastest server, it didn't connect with the fastest one, but the default SF, U.S. Other than that it's so far so good

Pretty good. Works pretty well most of the time. Sometimes it won't connect to a server that is actually running, so you have to manually select a sever. Otherwise, it does the job.

Why would I pay if I can't connect. Trying a multitude of time to connect but always same answer, unable to connect to server. So if I can't connect to the server why would I pay for the service. Understand China is not the place in the world for internet but VPN is a must this one is certainly the One. Better chance next time.

Update May 2017: app now nags you every time you open app to upgrade even though I have a paid subscription, really annoying and goes against ad free payment July 2016: No problems connecting or staying connected I can listen to radio stations in Canada from anywhere It's worth the annual subscription

Best value and so fast!. This is such a well engineered app. Blazing fast, reliable and so easy to use. I have tried a dozen dud VPN apps that did not perform and their subscription price was outrageous. For 9.99 you can get a year across 3 devices. If 9.99 is too much they have different pricing structures. You can also use it free on a limited basis. Rock on.

So far so good!!. This is a great app, I've only had had it for a few weeks but it works like a charm. Although the free limit is unfortunate, I like how it turns off automatically so as to not waste your free hours. Easy to work and user friendly. I especially love the daily bonus!! VPN. I've seen a lot of reviews for this app so I thought I would try it and by rule of thumb to really know all of its kinks I've been using it for 3 months. And still use it. It does cost money so don't get ruled in just because it's free 1 month is 9.99 which is kinda outrageous for a VPN but does make up for it in speed. On a scale 1-10 I would give this a 7. For speed but over priced.

Very useful!!. I come to china for work very often and I depend on facebook for contacts and gmail, and the use of a vpn here is indispensable! I've tried dozens of vpns app avaible on App Store and so far this is the very best! Quick connection, easy access and simple! The online downside is that the free use is way too limited!! But this is an awesome app! If you're in a hurry and really need access your stuff this is your guy! Recommend!!

So weird. I've been using this app for almost a year and it has been nothing but great… great connection, great experience … until recent days, it seems like all the servers are down… is it just me? Or it has happened to everyone? I mean all my friends are using it and seems like they are having the same problem …

Good VPN. Inexpensive VPN. I bought 1 year of service for $9.99. I can't comment on the level offsetting but assume that it is the same for other vpn providers. It has some difficulty reconnecting after the connection has been asleep for a while. It does have a number of servers available and tells which is the fastest connection, plus it has some auto connect features that are convenient, but the reconnect speed (or lack of) is probably enough that I won't renew. If they fixed that I would definitely repurchase.

Good Overall. Depending on your wifi connection, this app gets the job done. I'm currently in Bejing and can't connect with many different servers. It drops connection when off wifi, but will speed up your connection with slow web sites.

Worth Every Dollar. For just a few dollars I'm able to gain access to the worlds knowledge in text and video. I'm able to do my business and read all my emails. I'm able to watch any video from anywhere in the world. And it only costs as much as a meal. If I don't have access to the Internet I'm losing money so for me having this app helps me make money.

Free VPN that actually works in China. It's a good quick fix for VPN free service if you are staying in China. It actually works better than Switch VPN, one that I payed for. I also used VPN express and that one randomly stopped working to. I guess this is the best option for beating the great firewall. I am strongly considering doing one of the in app purchases. It charges by time.

Super?. I don't know much about security (which is why I use Apple products) but this extra layer of protection is necessary now that I'm on public and shared networks more often. I haven't had any problems with the app so far, and I like that for a couple of bucks you can set it on and forget it.

Inconstancy. First, let me say that I very much like Heather VPN seems to work. I also like how I can go on automatically when it connects with Wi-Fi when you desire it. I also like that you can turn off that feature. Why I gave it only three stars is that, although I have a full active subscription for a year, the VPN portion still times itself out after some amount of time. My understanding was that with a full active subscription there would be no timeouts.

ArkVpn. It's great...it always works, and never fails to do its job, only negative thing is that it costs money but hey! Nothing's free...so this is the next best thing to the perfect VPN, I use it almost everywhere, especially school when the wifi doesn't let me use Facebook and other things I want to do...hope it helps!

Not enough feedback on interface. When it works it is one of the most awesome app, but when it fails it frustrate me to a great deal! Simple is not lack of information, when it fails to connect only a toast informs me that failed to negotiate with the server...well, why? And what I can do to change that? Absolutely nothing?! And how never realized that there might be a daily limit of houses until I saw the "get free hours " ad today...... And still have no clue of how many daily hours do I have in total and how many is left...

So far so good. Masks your ip turn off locations and use DuckDuckGo app along with arkVPN ur good to go! Best free VPN I've used and researched quite a few as far as privacy and data usage this is the only one I use. Doesn't slow down browsing or streaming that I've noticed either..and if u have an iPhone u can go threw privacy settings and shut all that crap off find my phone and so on. Works great

Fantastic VPN service, wish it had a desktop version. This is the best free VPN service I've found thus far, even though it's only 15 free minutes a day — simple and elegant interface, no (noticeable) Internet speed loss, and works well for bypassing Internet censorship in China as well as geoblockers for US websites. (Hopefully they can come up with a Mac version so I can use this on my laptop as well)

Works all right if On Demand is not set to 'On'. It disconnects a lot and it's not always easy to reconnect in a timely manner. If I set On Demand to 'On', I get disconnected and once "reconnected", when I go to "servers", it connects to the top option but won't connect to the others. If I try to renew the connection to get the subscriber info read, it takes forever. Even though it shows I'm connected, I can't actually connect to websites until I turn off On Demand. Supposedly, On Demand is supposed to be an option only with a paid subscription, but since it seems to kill my connection, I'm wondering about the value.

I like this app Simple. I have used this app for a few months especially while traveling. It has errors that causes it to stop at times and while in China it did get blocked a couple of times. Overall, I wouldn't surf without it. I wish I could access things like NetFlix using a VPN. Not all web sites can support a VPN but they should!!!

Great free app to try. Great app! Tried it when other paid VPN failed. Started with the daily free bonus minutes, and when all others failed even paid for subscription. Great app to try if you don't want to spend the money right away. Easy to use for those who are not computer savvy like me.

Great VPN deserving of 4 1/2 to 5 stars. This is a fantastic VPN. The interface is extremely simple and easy to use while at the same time offering all necessary options. Both the servers the connection is reliable and stable. I have used it for tasks ranging from browsing webpages, sending emails, to using Skype, and streaming videos. The connection is almost always fast and reliable. That is important because where I live many VPNs are blocked so it is impossible to even use them. But ARK VPN so far is the best out there. Lastly, the price is unbeatable. Some VPNs are asking for $80 or more for an annual subscription. Crazy! But Ark VPN is very affordable while being just as reliable as the others. Only one small issue. Every VPN is prone to interruptions and disconnects. That is understandable. But when ARK VPN suddenly disconnects there is no warning and it can still appear as if you are connected. For me that means my streaming, sending, or downloading is interrupted without warning. That isn't such a big deal for someone who casually uses a VPN for Facebook of streaming videos. Just reset the connection and it is fine. But if you use a VPN for business or are very serious about online anonymity be aware of this small issue. Overall, this is the best VPN out there for the price. Worthy of 4 1/2 to 5 stars!

Love it!. My school put a restriction on the wifi that blocks Instagram and Facebook to prevents students from connecting to social media. This app allows me to still connect to the wifi without the restrictions! I love the trial version because I can turn it on when I need to and not waste up my hours on the app. It sometimes cuts out but there is a feature that allows VPN to connect even when my phone is locked. I've found that it cuts out less when I enabled that feature!

TR. Something that I noticed while trying to stream Netflix on my iPhone, your VPN blocks the stream nearly every time. I'm hoping just a bug fix will correct the problem, thus it would be greatly appreciated if you include the fix in your next update release. Thanks, Cheers! Great app! Reliable. As with review number 2, every so often I am told I have zero paid time left. Then I monkey around a little, restart iPad, etc and it shows again that I Have annual subscription. It works pretty well if one checks often on the MPS of various servers and switches accordingly. I am overall pleased and grateful to remain connected in Asia.

Great app for travel. The weird and unwonderful international legal issues on internet content can be frustrating. But this neat, simple to use app bypasses the picky problems. It allows me to watch all the content I want no matter where I am. If you travel internationally, and like video on demand, this app is for you.

Wanted to give 5 stars.... I like this app except for one big issue -- I repeatedly get messages telling me that I have zero time left and will have to buy more before I can use it. This is despite the facts that I have already paid for an annual subscription for $9.99 and having accumulated 11+ hours of "bonus time." About once a week, I have to go the process of restoring my purchase through the iTunes Store. I have 3 other VPN apps that I also use when I can't get a connection on one or another. I can understand having occasional connection issues because of server overloads, but having to go through iTunes Store every week to restore a purchase I use every day is just freaking annoying. There is no way to contact ARK through the App menu. If this problem gets fixed, I'll revisit my review for an update.

Great VPN protection. I downloaded ArkVPN before a trip to Europe a few years ago so I could protect my information when connected to public wifi networks. It connects easily and quickly. Inexpensive cost each month for protection anytime I'm on a wifi outside of my own house. I'd had a couple issues when it automatically connects when I go home. I sometimes have to turn off my wifi on my phone to turn off the VPN connection and then reconnect to wifi. But I have rarely had any issues otherwise. Definitely recommend this app.

Used it in China. I have been using this app in China now for a month. I have also used other VPN apps in China. This one seems to connect with good regularity. One of my other apps is a paid app and is often blocked. It does fail to connect at times, rarely as compared to others.

Excellent VPN!. I've been using this app for the past couple weeks. It works great to catch up with things overseas, plus to be safer when I'm browsing the web or checking emails at the local coffee shop. While, as a free service, it's not an unlimited VPN, it's exactly what I need, with the daily boosts to give me enough protected online time.

Meh. it's really mediocre. Great price, sure. But you're paying for something below average. The whole goal is to stay anonymous and safe behind their barriers... but you can't be all that safe if the connection keeps dropping. It drops while you're in the middle of doing things actively so you can't blame inactivity. This VPN just needs to be down for just a moment of time for someone to get your information. I know of a better and cheaper app and I'll just be using that. Very unreliable.

Was great. Since I came back to the place where the Internet has no freedom, I've been using this app. But recently it occurs very frequently that I cannot connect to the VPN server through the 3G/4G net. I don't know whether the server got some problem or the firewall something... I really hope you guys can fix this and I'll be very glad to support you all the time.

I love this app!. It works wonders. Yes, you have to check back everyday to get minutes for free, but you're able to save the minutes you don't use. It allows me to use my phone when I don't have service and I'm definitely glad I downloaded it.

Brilliant. No problems with it at all. It works flawless and it is easy to switch on or off, depending on your needs. Does not come on automatically like some others which are hard to turn off or delete. Getting free bonus time daily is another huge plus. Very happy with it and it does everything it promise. Keep it simple and it will continue to be a great app for a long time.

Great app. This app has been perfect for my purposes. Since I live in China, I can't access many apps or websites, but this vpn is reliable-- as long as my internet connection holds-- and allows me to visit any place I normally would. You can upgrade and get more time, but I find that even without the upgrade, I have enough time because I don't use those apps everyday.

Paid for it and it won't work. This app used to work beautifully before ad after I bought it. I've had some really bad times with it. Like this one time I had to wait like 4 months to use it even tho I paid for the $9.99 yearly plan. And it works at some times. When it connects and works, it does wonders! But most of the times I'm trying to get it to connect and it disappoints me because my money is totally being wasted.

Unable to restore purchase. I have been using this for over a year and it has been great until now. Even though my subscription shows active and renewed until December, 2016 I am unable to make the app restore my iTunes purchase on any of my devices. It seems there is no way to contact the company to get help. Additionally, during this past year, I have experienced the same as other users where it kicks out my subscription on a regular basis. This is the first time I cannot restore it. I'm wondering if it is because of the most recent update. The worst part is, there is no contact info and therefore no customer support for this app. I don't feel Apple should allow apps to be sold in the App Store if the company is not willing to provide a proper way to contact them. In this case, a company website is provided. But guess what!?! No actual contact info is on their website.

Waste of space and money..... First of all I HATE ads so if u don't there is buy the monthly subscription, which is a reasonable price at only $1.99 per month; cheaper if you pay by the year, the app is full of a huge array of ads all the time, which is annoying but understandable if you have the free version. But here's the main problem...the app constantly crashes when I pull up the actual app. Also it turns off by itself all the time. It constantly tells me there is an error and turns off but never tells me what the error is. This app is junk and I am trying to get a refund because I paid for a month by month subscription...still waiting.......

Inconsistent app. I do like this app and signed up for the monthly pro account. I'm currently traveling in China so I'm at ground zero for needing a VPN. The design of this app is nice and like how you can pick the location of your VPN connection. However... I'll say about 50% of the time the connection cuts out and it'll stay out for an hour or so. Not sure if this is China blocking the connection or ArkVPN issues. If it's Ark, please fix so I can give you 5 stars. Also wanted to add. Often the app doesn't recognize that I'm on a pro account and not a free account. I get the error message that I've used my free hours up. Totally unacceptable, please fix. Thanks for listening.

Restored, and it works great. I I was ticked off because I got a new iPhone and it didn't work. But then I found the restore from iTunes button, it restored my year subscription and now it seems to work fine. And it works better than the other VPN that I tried before.

Best VPN I've ever tried. Since I moved overseas I tried nearly all the top rated VPN app in the App Store. While some of them worked very well, Ark VPN is so far the best. The best part is it's easy to connect or disconnect, should you want to save your quota, whereas in some VPN you have to delete the profile or install another profile to disconnect from VPN. Some VPN just doesn't work outright. Another favorite part of mine is that it gives you daily bonus quotas, so if you're a light user like me you don't have to pay for expensive monthly subscription if you only use it a few hours in a day anyway. In short, great, sensible plan and great working app. I have no complaints.

Very good, nice rates, but they charge automatically. Very good alternative, fair prices, but when you buy they say "we will automatically charge after your bought", o something like this. I want to buy a month, three or whaterver without putting in my calendar the renewal

Delivers as advertised!. Speed, access, and safety all seem to have improved. We travel a lot and I always worry about having secure connections and access to our accounts. Also, as an international traveler, we find that access is often restricted to many sites, Netflixs and Pandora to name just two. Cloud Ark VPN delivers.

Great for data plans that throttle speeds after a limit. The title says it all, if you have a data plan that does has unlimited data but the speeds are stupid slow after you've reached a limit... this is the app for you. I personally bought the year subscription ($9.99) to have the peace of mind that my mobile company won't screw me over with speeds as slow as 3G.. it connects fast and I feel like my overall reception is better (signal bars/ numerical signal stay the same but performance is enhanced). The only thing missing is an integrated ad blocker for all the apps I use, so sometimes I'll switch back and forward from another VPN app just to avoid annoying ads.

ArkVPN user. Until I bought this app I had been using free demo versions of other VPNs without much dislike, especially considering they were free at least, fora little while. And then I found ArkVPN and did the same thing. But once the free trial was over I decided to go ahead and spend the $4.99 in order to not have to look for yet another app, over and over again again. It was working well for the first couple of weeks and I thought I should have probably just gotten it sooner. But then it started to cause my internet to slow down. And it would disable frequently, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times an hour. I'm not happy with it anymore and won't be renewing it. All the free time I win on the daily giveaway will only add up to more frustration. I'd find another one if I were you.

Dissapointed. This VPN service started as an amazing find, not soon after, I brought the quarterly subscription. It works fine. But what annoyed me the most is a very obnoxious bug. My subscription kept cancelling (it did return my money) and I had to continue going back and forth through applications to renew it several times in a day. It also offers a feature in which you can choose your IP location. Now I trusted it for weeks and just now actually put it to the test. Found out that it didn't work. What I thought to be an IP address in Dallas, Texas turned out to be an IP for a small town in New Jersey. If you're very, very, very desperate...sure give it a go. If not, keep looking for a better one—like I will be doing tonight.

Yep I'm here to complain. Connection issue.. I read some reviews of this app and it seems to be a great VPN for iPhone users. It is extremely easy to use and connect and the UI is clear and clean. However, I just downloaded it today and purchased 3-month VIP, my iPhone just couldn't connect to the VPN server. I tried again with my other two iPads and didn't work on neither of both. I am pretty sure this is the servers' problem. I checked the past reviews and there are lots of complaints at the end of last November, the stability of this app could be questionable. I couldn't comment on the connection and the using experience because I haven't ever got connected yet. However I do have faith in the app and I believe this problem will be soon fixed.

This is great..........but!. Initially I used the free version and upgraded to the annual subscription. I am very satisfied with the service in general. The only thing that bugs me is that it disconnects every 30-40 minutes and takes a good couple of minutes to reconnect (I've tried every way to overcome this). I watch a lot of sport using the Ark VPN and when it disconnects I always seem to miss an important part of the action.........help!!
