A Must. Love that i can have this for free with a print subscription! Good reviews, interesting articles. Look forward to getting this always. And that i can carry it around in my bag at all times. I havent been able to find a US title that is quite as good

Horrible app. Nice magazine, but terrible app. I've had trouble updating with the newest issue twice in the few months I've been a subscriber. When I delete the app and log in again I lose the back issues. Frustrating.

An observation. Hello, Previously the library and store were segregated while now when I scroll through my library I find all issues including the ones I have not purchased featured. Can you please segregate the library from the store. Thank you and best regards, Francis

Can Only Access One Issue.... This app is possibly the worst app I've purchased period. I subscribed in the beginning of April and received no confirmation email or subscription number (which they keep asking for to reference my subscription). Don't buy.

The best. Really great!

Never ending loading!. It is difficult to review Decanter magaIne as the app never goes beyond the Loading. That is until it just quits. I am using an iPad with which I enjoy reading Vanity Fair, The Economist, Saveur, Food and Wine, Sunset and several other magazines. The Economist is the fastest download and quickly allows browsing thru issues. You need to get your software fixed if you intend to sell subscriptions with the app. It does not work!

Excellent content. Why does the "rate this app" show up all the time?

Needs fixing - I was robbed. I had started to use this app in the summer and purchased several issues. Then the app had an update in October (I think) and it no longer recognizes that I purchased the issues. I have tried using the "restore purchased issues" request about 10 times to no avail so now I have to go on a goose chase trying to figure out who to log this issue with. Only install if you are quite happy throwing money away.

Thanks for nothing!. I did not want or need a ‘new app’. The existing Decanter app worked just fine! But looky here… I’ve now got a new app; but I don’t have any issues of Decanter anymore. I tried the steps included in the ‘help’ section… dead end. Now I’ve got a fully paid subscription that has been active for years; and ZERO content. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Take this app and shove it. Restore the app that worked and pink slip your IT people.

Horrific!. What a horrible update came from Decanter! I have to now create an account and download all previous purchases. It takes FOREVER to do that with constant crashes making it really maddening to go through the process. Those issues that I did manage to download, were unreadable, each page blown out of proportion. Why rush with an update before working out all the 'improved' crap?! Moreover they locked ALL the supplements that were part of your digital subscription before this update. Now you have to pay $5 for each past supplement. Isn't that a violation of the previous subscription agreement? There is no way I am going to spend another penny on this horrific digital magazine. Going elsewhere for wine ratings. No more Decanter! Hooray!

Very good. I find its broad coverage very helpful, as I only know wines from a very few areas well. However, I do not see how one can print from the iPad app.

Temperamental. At times...

What is going on?. This is a premier wine magazine and the app is not great. It skips, has black pages and crashes. I want this but the sample issue has already let ,me down.

Bad. Subscribed for magazine. Was given free mobile version for subscribing. Downloaded and created my account. When I want to look at a issue I sign in. Try to open the issue and it want 4.99. Obviously even though the app shows me as signed in its trying to charge me.

Can’t get my issues. I am very disappointed in this new app...I can’t get my iTunes subscription restored in the app, and the email Decanter Support in the menu doesn’t work. Further, contacting Support through the App Store also leads to a dead link. I have been subscribing for almost four years now, and think it is pretty awful that I can’t get at my issues. Fix the app Decanter or I will cancel my subscription and never come back.

Please make more friendly for iPhone. As of now I have to zoom out of the page before I can turn it. It is very annoying

No coping?. I would like to be able to copy text, but that's not allowed. A very big pain. Other than that, a traditional magazine app.

Decanter. Do not like you can see an old issue in full. You should be able to get game point regardless and the 30 day offer should expire if you do not contact them to keep it and you should not have to use a credit card.

Keep it simple. Just let me download issues and not have to rate your magazine.

Lost all my paid issues. Purchased ten issues in 2012, after updated the app, all is gone and could not restore, so I figured that maybe I just rented them instead of bought, so please change the button purchase into rent, wasted 100 dollars on this, I might just hate wines because of decanter, thanks guys, great job.

Great Magazine / Weak App. The magazine is terrific; Decanter is leaps and bounds beyond spectator, enthusiast, advocate, etc. the quality of writing and the European influence make this a much more even and worldly publication than others. The app however had not been updated for even the iPhone 5's tall screen, it has terrible page turning, and is simply difficult to enjoy on an iPhone if any size. A light ui overhaul would be terrific in making this app more enjoyable.

Bad app -- super buggy. Decanter is a great magazine in search of an app commensurate with the print edition. But this app isn't it. Constant crashes, full of bugs and poor support from Decanter. We are waiting for an update and it can't come soon enough.

Cannot access my print sub!. Since the update I can no longer access my print subscription and am unable to download any further issues. Please fix.

Pretty good. Usually a few good articles about wine producers of various regions. That being said the magazine is about 70% advertisements for Bordeaux ( ads and "articles").

Newest update rushed and broken. This update (1 Feb 2013) was rushed out to fix a compatibility problem. Unfortunately it isn't working properly: no cover pages are displaying in the "library" view. I wouldn't normally punish this kind of slip with one star, but this app's earned it with a series of similarly sloppy moves. A shame, as the magazine's great and deserves better.

Love the magazine, really frustrated with the App. I am extremely frustrated with your App. I love the magazine, but even after I download multiple editions, when I’m not connection to the internet (ie on an airplane) the app tells me I don’t have anything downloaded. It’s happened twice now, and I’m very frustrated. I don’t understand why it’s a complicated feature - I can download videos from Netflix and watch the, offline. I should be able to do the same with your App.

Dreadful. What has happened to the decanter app since the last update? It’s become painfully slow to load, and generally clunky. This is simply unacceptable in these days of facile on line media. Furthermore, I’m unable to access back editions. A huge turn off and I doubt I will renew my subscription given the quality of this app. Dreadful and shame on Decanter for this simply unacceptable level of service.

UK/US subscriptions. Unclear as to where these overlap/ conflict I live in both countries and often can’t access on my UK phone ... But I can on my iPad. Also Premium subscription model/ sign up is unclear.

Content 5⭐️; App Has Always Been Buggy. Bit of anecdotal advice: if you can’t access your subscription after the app update and “restoring your purchases”, delete and redownload the app. Worked for me.

Imaging. Great magazine, has always been a favorite, but the imaging is a mess each time I turn the page.

Download bad. Decent app..but very annoying as each page starts out fuzzy and you have to wait a bit for it to become clear, so you can read it.
