Great Idea, Terrible app. Do not download. Just a black screen on my Apple.

Update - App deletes margaritas. I got some help from the margarita trail support team concerning some deleted margs. They were super helpful resolving the issue. That app has a few issues but the trail is fun. Besides this one issue I had. The margarita trail is great, a great way to check out Santa Fe restaurants I normally would not visit. I look forward to checking out the new stops.

Trail Rocks and So Does the App. Was in SF for my birthday weekend. We hit 6 spots over the three nights. It was awesome and fun trying so many different margs. Love that I can win prizes too!

Fun!. My mother and myself both downloaded this during our vacation in Santa Fe. It was very easy to use. The margaritas did not disappoint and all the food at the restaurants was exceptional as well. We were only there for 5 days but we were able to get enough for a t-shirt. I love that the recipes are available, I already tried one at home, and look forward to trying the rest eventually.

Great idea poor execution. The Margarita Trail is awesome! Who doesn’t love exploring Santa Fe’s best margs? That said, the app itself is TERRIBLE! The number of times it’s crashed while simply trying to use it is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve had to delete and redownload the app multiple times just to have it not even load anything the next time I open it. You’re honestly better off just using the paper version.

Trail rocks app not so much. I enjoy the margarita trail, even though covid derailed it for a bit, but this app is not up to par. The app crashes at random times and I have to uninstall it and reinstall for it to work, the list/map page won’t load, I downloaded the lite version for the list/map and when I scroll through it takes me back to the top at random times, when I zoom in on the map it freaks out. All this makes it difficult to pick the next margarita spot. I copied the bar listing from the web-site and I will print it and use that to find the next spot! Cheers

Pathetic.. Tried very hard to make app work. Only text information useful. Click on map. No map appears. Search and results can only be deleted or cleared. Apparently cannot use this to research trip as it’s map focuses on where I live and not Santa Fe Save your money!

A fun way to sightsee and drink your way around bars and restaurants yo might not find on your own. We've really been enjoying having the app to guide us around Santa Fe! We've gone looking for several places that we wouldn't have found otherwise, and while not every margarita is something I'd necessarily order again, they've all been decent enough, and we've found a few real gems!!

Horrid app. I can’t get logged in. Keeps giving me an error message. I’ve tried to change my password and restart my phone to no avail. Really disappointed. This reflects poorly on the city of Sante Fe.

Margarita Trail. The app concept is amazing and my wife and I have been having a blast trying all the different margaritas, but the app has been messing up and the Santa Fe Margarita Trail home page with map and location and drink names hasn’t worked for 2 days.

Doesn’t work. Very disappointed.. In Santa Fe and I was excited to try the margarita trail. Doesn’t work. Don’t get it.

Updating reviews - recipes are included!. Recipes are under each location. I am now happy with my purchase. Thank you for the app!

App needs help badly!. Love this idea but if you are going to charge a fee for the app then it should work. Crashed and made us resign up which means we lost our drink check ins! Re-loaded, started all over and now AGAIN, trail part is all white and blank, and it randomly takes away your drink check ins! Waste of money, and makes me not want to do the trail..which is really sad!

Don’t allowed to do everything in a day or two days. I like this trail, but I was testing to do everything in 3 days and the app don’t let us scan more than two per day!

Lost Prior Progress. Updated Review Developers were quick to respond. The current version of the app is newly built with a new company behind it. Overall a good upgrade from the prior version that was a bit finicky. My issue with lost check-ins was due to the data handoff between the two different companies and was amicably resolved. The updated app looks more user friendly which is a plus. However, all of my previous progress will not transfer over. It does not recognize my email address and searching for my account via phone number just results in an endless loop of frustration. multiple visits to Santa Fe now lost. And no tech support info anywhere? Santa Fe you can do better!

The Trail is a Great idea. The Trail is a Great idea - we saw a lot f restaurants/areas we wouldn’t have otherwise. Annoying that I had to put the name of the restaurant into maps to find it/get directions. Also, there were no margarita discounts, so I don’t see why there was a cost to this app. Looking forward to getting the t-shirt! Nicknames stupid

Do not waste your money on this app. This app is buggy, outdated, and it’s not user friendly. You’re better off getting a paper copy from a Santa Fe Tourist Center then to waste money on this.

Stay Away - it’s a RIPOFF!. They’ll charge you $2.99 to download the app, then when you try to create an account, it tells you some crap about their servers, but you CAN’T USE THE APP that you paid for! I’m contacting the NM Attorney General.

Cumbersome. The app design is cumbersome to navigate. It’s not very intuitive. Additionally you have to rely on the restaurant/bar to provide you a QR code to scan to get credit for a margarita purchase. Some wouldn’t scan due to poor quality print-outs. When we went to the 3rd location for a margarita, the QR code wouldn’t scan at all. It was only then did we find out you can only scan 2 per day. This isn’t worth spending any money on. Very disappointed.

How do I get a Refund?. App does not work! Reinstalled multiple times. A *YEAR* after my vacation to Santa Fe I received this response: “Hello - this review is related to an old version of the app. The new versions works much better, please give it a try.” Not much help now, and no refund or apology.

Absolute Trash. PLEASE DO NOT PAY for this app. It’s a scam. It is buggy and does not work. Major issue: trying to scan the QR code from the barista. When you hit scan, the app crashes completely. I tried uninstalling, restarting the phone, etc. NOTHING worked. The app does not work. It will only take your money away. Other issue, it seems like the business that partner with the margarita trail are not aware of how to use it either. Neither none of the 2 business I visited had a paper copy for the trail. If I could I would give it zero stars.

Worst app I ever bought. Nothing but ads for lousy bars. I’ve wasted money on bad apps before it this one is so bad and so dishonestly described I’m taking the time to tell you from the bottom of my heart this is disgusting. 1. Requires you let it track your movement, aka spy on you. 2. Costs $4 and is nothing, nothing, but a list of ads.

Terrific fun. We live in Santa Fe but we don’t know all the places to go get a good margarita. This is a fun and informative app. Plus prizes.

Crashes, doesn't let you scan QR codes. Every time I go to scan a QR code the app crashes. I have reinstalled the app and restarted my phone multiple times and still every time I click the scan QR code button the app crashes. Very disappointing. I have taken pictures of the codes and hope I can get credit using the pictures.

Great trail, terrible app. All of the spots on the list and the drinks they advertise are fantastic. Unfortunately, the app is very unstable. For example, the qr reader will crash the app when you open it and the only fix is to reinstall the app. Another issue is the map is slow to load and often times won’t load at all. When the app is functional, it’s not very intuitive. Because I paid 3 dollars for the app, I’m pretty disappointed.

Map doesn’t load. Stops open at 4. The map only loads sometimes and no list available without it. No hours listed and first 4 places we walked to didn’t open until 4. Can only earn 2 stamps a day. Small drinks.

Where’s the recipes? UPDATE!. UPDATE: I am pease to report that this issue has been corrected by the developer. Thanks for the quick response! Review corrected o five stars. I paid for this app to get the passport and recipes. Very disappointed. The Tiny URL links to site for Santa Fe tourism. No recipes. No mention of passport on app. However, does have list of places with margaritas. I could have googled that.
