InKind Comments & Reviews 2026
Great savings and Deals. I love this app. I went for a $400 meal and ended up getting $75 off. I’m not sure where they do that at but it was a huge saver for me. I’ve used it a couple times and get cash back for every purchase which I can use toward other restaurants. Love the idea and love the savings. This is my ONLY REVIEW IVE EVER WROTE. That should tell you something
Seamless. Tried this app for the first time a month ago and it was so easy to use! I was worried it would be confusing while paying but it was even easier than using a credit card. Can’t wait to see what other restaurants will be on the platform in the future! P.s thank you Joann for introducing me to it :)
Missing sign up bonus. I signed up for this app a couple of weeks ago and received a $50 bonus at one of my local restaurants for doing so. I was planning to use that bonus at dinner tonight but I can’t find it anywhere in my account on the app! Not even in History…it’s as if the bonus never existed. I don’t want to address it with the restaurant tonight because we are going out with friends who we are going to treat so I don’t want to the make a fuss over $50 in front of them. Given this experience, I would have a hard time trusting this app with my credit cards and do not recommend.
Obsessed. If you dine out often, you need this app. inKind is like one big loyalty rewards program to a massive network of restaurants, giving you extra cash to spend at restaurants you frequent. The ability to book reservations and pay your bill in the app are just the cherries on top. But honestly my favorite part is that paying with inKind directly benefits the restaurant - servers are always so excited when I pay with the app.
SCAM ALERT. Do NOT use this app. This is hands-down the worst app experience I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something. I downloaded this app because at the moment of the reservation on a restaurant’s website, an add of this terrible app said it was “convenient” for paying the bill plus it would give me a good discount. Big mistake. The only thing this app is good at is stealing your personal information. When I was ready to use it to pay the restaurant bill, it kept showing decline over and over. I tried different credit cards, all the same problem. Our waitress said that she saw the same problem with many customers… shocking!! Not an isolated issue but the worse came next day when my bank alert me of fraud from a transaction that was trying to be processed in the UK the night before… hmm wonder why!! I did not have any inconvenience at any merchant only when trying to use that App Now my card is blocked, had to call my bank and request another card. This app is a scam disguised as a service. It’s unsafe, unreliable, and downright criminal. Apple/Google should remove it from the store immediately. Until then, do yourself a favor: pay in cash, or just walk out before using this garbage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Amazing. I really do love this app. I’m a big foodie, I go out to eat a lot. I love trying new restaurants and this app enables me to do just that. I go to all kinds of restaurants including fine dining. This app allows me to save money and earn cash back while eating good. I would have given 5 stars however, unfortunately I just found out from another review that the company has gotten rid of the monthly $10 off of $30 bonus. I noticed about 2 months ago that I stopped receiving the bonus. I was going to start paying for the app so I can get the $50 off of $150 monthly bonus but now I’m hesitant to do so if the bonus is no longer offered. The monthly bonus was one of the main key components that made the app so appealing. I have saved a lot of money using InKind and I love the app. I’m really hoping they bring back the monthly bonuses, or that this hiatus is to improve the bonuses. I still definitely recommend the app but if you join now, you won’t know how absolutely amazing the savings used to be. You’ll still save money but you would’ve saved more :(.
Used to be good. First, some of their 5-star reviews appear to be fake or paid for, saying “Best restaurant” and “Great service”, when it’s just an app. Second, I’ve used this app a lot in 2024 and it gave significant discounts and bonuses. Those are mostly gone now, replaced with a 20% off, but it’s apparently not even 20% off the meal you pay for, but goes into your account. They want $10 a month as well. Basically they changed the rules and benefits without even notifying InKind users. Suddenly the best things about the app just vanished. I will spend what’s left in my account and quietly delete.
A STEAL!. Love using inKind. Always get savings off every meal plus occasional additional discounts! They run specials on specific restaurants monthly such as 30 off 40-50, 50 off 100 or 75 off 150. If you eat out (go out for drinks) as much as I, it will pay for itself in no time, if purchasing the pass but either way; good deals to come and the restaurants haven’t disappointed yet **some mentioned restaurant availability, full disclaimer: I am in the DMV**
Card Hacked. I recently used the app on 2 occasions and it’s great. Unfortunately, I cannot trust the security of the app since someone hacked into my account and attempted to purchase food with my card that was saved. The only option is to remove the card from the Payment Methods as soon as possible or not to use the app at all. For now, I’ll choose my security.
Everyone should have to save money!!. I love this app. I’m based in San Francisco and as going out to eat is very expensive, this app is incredible helpful. My mom gave me a $25 credit when I spent $50 and I used it last night at a great restaurant. Pro tip: if you have Costco they can have gift cards for in kind as well. My mom bought a $100 gift card for $70 so my meal (3 people) was paid for in full using the gift card and promotion. You will save money using this app and it’s very user friendly.
Fraud happened to me. My inKind account was hacked and my partner’s credit card which was stored in the inKind app was charged for an expensive meal that someone ate. The meal was probably paid for using the inKind App without using the physical credit card. We found out when my partner’s credit card company sent him a notification and after that I received an email from inKind with the receipt of the expensive meal. I’ve emailed inKind support to alert them about this. My partner blamed me for saving his credit card info in the app. I won’t use inKind anymore. But if you still do, I think removing your credit card immediately from the app right after paying, or not prepaying much cash in the app might save you from such fraud, particularly around holiday time.
True Food. I just left True Food and my experience was exceptional! This was my second visit, the first being for a friend’s 40th birthday a couple weeks ago. Our server this time was the most pleasant Jewel and she really was top tier. From the beginning she did such an eloquent job explaining the mission and beliefs of True Food. She checked on us regularly and I definitely was never parched. Jewel gave updated on our food and made sure everything was to our liking. Just like Jewel, her recommendation of the flourless chocolate cake was a top tier ending to our meal. Until next time. Thank you Jewel for a great dining experience.
This app is used by restaurants to scam and double tip. I went to a burlesque show in Brooklyn, Red Pavillion and they added gratuity to the bill on their iPad. Then InKind added gratuity on top of the bill with gratuity included that the restaurant and Red Pavillion was refusing to show me an itemized receipt until I said I’m not paying until I see a receipt of what I’m paying for. Then I realized they are making you double tip here. Will never be using InKind again which is said because I’ve used it at a different establishment -Nubeluz and the discount was just that, a discount it wasn’t an opportunity for a business to scam you by making you double tip.
Do not use this App, it is definitely the worst experience you can have!. I paid $1000 upfront to use this app, and this app never worked. The app got stuck on a screen OVER MONTHS, we had plenty of money in the account but kept stuck in screen when we need to process the payment. The customer support is unbelievable dishonest, they promised the issue can be fixed shortly but never get anything done. When I request a refund, they are trying to steal your full payment on account. It is very embarrassing to use this app and make you feel like fool when you paid everything upfront but the app never worked. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND THE UPPER MANAGEMENT IN THIS COMPANY IS TRYING VERY HARD TO KEEP YOUR MONEY IN THEIR POCKET AND WON’T CARE ABOUT ANY CUSTOMER FEEDBACK AT ALL.
I used to like it but I got scammed. I visited restaurants on the inKind list specifically because of a $30 off $90 promotion. However, the discount was not applied to my bill, and I ended up paying the full price. I was disappointed, as the promotion was the primary reason for my visit. I addressed this issue with the restaurant owner and manager on the day of my visit, and they advised me to contact inKind directly. I reached out to inKind, but it has been about three days, and I have yet to receive a response.
I believe it’s a scam. The first time I tried to use the app it took forever to process. As a matter of fact, after trying for 20 minutes, the manager offered to try to resolve the issue. After another 20 minutes, it still wouldn’t work. We ended up paying the bill ourselves and leaving. Over an hour after leaving (a full 1 hour and 50 minutes after we first tried the app) I received an email it had been processed. Are customers expected to wait hours for it to process a payment? The manager told me they have had many problems and complaints about the app.
Need a description to it’s services. I received a $50 credit to try out this app and it was great.. up until I had about $20 left in my wallet that I wanted to use and it keeps saying that I have to have a BILL MINIMUM of $100??? This is so upsetting given that I wanted to use up all my credit before I end up purchasing more. Does it mean to say that I have to have keep having a recurring amount of $100 just to use this app? No thank you. Don’t download if you have the $50 credit- you won’t be able to use it all. Inkind should put that as a disclaimer or have it along the lines so people are more aware.
App doesn’t work. Loaded up $600 in the app to pay for the meal, and it wouldn’t go through. And the other person at dinner did the same. We left dinner on a bad note and spent the rest of the night talking to the credit card company. Feels like this app is in beta mode and I hope it gets better.
Broken Promises. I was offered a $25 off my next meal over $75. I went out with my family for a meal over that amount, and upon receiving the check and paying it through the app, only to be told I needed to pay $10 A MONTH TO REDEEM IT! And on top of that, when I declined and finished paying with the app, they had the AUDACITY to have me pay an addition $3.35 for the privilege of using the app. Look, to be direct, this app might be free to download but you will need to pay to actually use it in anyway actually useful and the app is not upfront with you about this. I truly hope the devs read this and change this. It’s not consumer friendly and anyone who might download this app should be fully aware of it.
So confusing. This app is full of “discounts” and “offers” and “savings” and “gifts” but in the end it’s just ridiculously confusing. I just want to use it to pay at restaurants, not understand their crazy business model. I got a sign up bonus, but I have to use it on checks of a certain amount… and I can also pre-pay for credit, but it’s not usable with my sign up bonus… and the “gifts” are really discount codes. In the end, I wanted to like this app and be able to use it, but there is just too much going on and I’m wary of being scammed. I decided to delete my account.
FRAUD. I was out of town, and made reservations for a restaurant using this app. I never used the app to pay at the restaurant but months later I was charged $310 for a “gift” I sent to someone I have no relation to. I never made this purchase, but the money was deducted from my account. I only found out because my bank notified me and I got an email from this app saying my gift was sent to the random person. When I proceeded to contact the app there is no customer support phone number. I emailed them and go no answer back. I sent multiple chats and never heard back. This is such an awful experience, especially when you’re out of town and your card gets cancelled but you need to use that card for your expenses on the trip
Paying AFTER you place an order is ridiculous. I only got this app because you get $10 back if you spend $25 at a particular restaurant if you use this stupid app. My total was $26. Turns out I can't claim the order because the SUBTOTAL was less than $25. Of course, had I not placed the order until I claimed the offer, I would have known. There's no way to know if your cart will meet all the requirements until you've already placed your order. I opened a ticket and will be fighting hard to get my $10 from these criminals. Just avoid the hassle.
Misleading promotion. Misleading advertising. Went to make dinner reservations at a restaurant I had wanted to try, and saw advertisement for this app, with $50 off as a ‘special welcome gift’. Seemed like a good deal, but when I tried to reserve a table through the app, all the spots were taken through the discount expiration date. Of course, plenty of seats were available with no discount, through Open Table. Yet, the app and discount continue to be advertised on the restaurant’s website. We ate at the restaurant without the discount anyways, and I will be deleting this app. Edit: developer just responded that we could use the app to pay for the meal anyways and get the discount but that was never clear and we enjoyed our meal a week ago so it is too late. App was deleted and I will not try to use it again. As with many things, better to deal with the company directly than from some confusing third party app.
Wow! Great Customer Service!. I have been using InKind for about a year and repeatedly have been impressed with their app and customer service! They go above and beyond to take care of guests and have assisted me with some user errors that were fully my mistake, but still willing to refund me and assist! Incredible app to use and one I will use as frequently as possible!
Sixteen ways to pay. Plenty of places to eat in San Francisco, some of which are favorites of mine. Great! I’ve eaten in five different places which have had three entirely different (and often quite inconvenient) ways to pay using this app. Special credit to Bluestone Lame, where you CAN’T pay for food you have already ordered, you can only pre-order. Sheesh.
Frustrating search and filters, slow app. I onboarded to this app from a restaurant website offering $5 off, but it added about 20 minutes of onboarding to what would be an otherwise quick order. First, the app is extremely slow. Once i finished onboarding, it then told me the restaurant was closed, so I tried to search for other options that might be open; but their search is really lackluster with no way to filter for open restaurants near me. I went back to the original website to see their hours, and the website reassured me that they were indeed open. I check again on this app and now it’s allowing me to order and use my coupon. Finally I got my order in, and wanted to share with my husband who is going to pick it up, but there’s no easy way to share the order beyond screenshotting and manually attaching to a text. All in all not a great experience with this app. Too much friction, way too slow and bulky.
Inkind provides a great value for diners. Just started using…and saving! I just wish there were more restaurants to choose from. We definitely consider InKind restaurants first when deciding where to dine. Had a problem paying with InKind at one restaurant we tried, but overall works really well.
True food great. Been going to true good for years. While not everything is great for me, they still get5 stars because how can everything on a menu work for everyone? The chocolate chip cookie for instance isn’t crispy but almost like cake. Won’t order it again. But my friend loved it and gobbled it up with glee. Will always be a fan if true food!!
customer service issues. Updating my review. After a week of emails and then a negative review here, my issue with an expired promotion was resolved. Previously I said this: The app is a great idea but I had an issue where my monthly $50 credit (if you spend 150) vanished from my app and I’ve emailed and sent messages over and over and over. No response a week later. What a joke.
App Did Not Pay My Bill - Very Embarrassing! Avoid!!!. I’ve used InKind three times. The last time I used it, it failed to pay the restaurant. The restaurant was kind to me in the situation fortunately. I contacted customer service to ask what happened and to make sure the restaurant got paid. Cristy assured me the restaurant was paid, and confirmed that I would owe InKind $93 as I expected. I have been asking them to process this $93 payment for SIX MONTHS, and they’ve refused because Cristy is inexplicably stuck on asking me to pay more money for additional gratuity, (again, on a bill from six months ago). This week, I gave Cristy a deadline and said that if they didn’t take the $93 I would assume they’ve gifted the meal to me because I can no longer be responsible for their accounting. I don’t get paid for this. Cristy chose to continue to again argue about gratuity, and I take that as a clear sign, after six months, that they have no interest in taking my money. I’m actually sad about this because I was enjoying the app, when it worked. The creators and owners of this app need to demand to see Cristy’s email chain with me and see how she’s losing money for your company. Avoid this app at all costs! You risk being humiliated at the restaurant when the app fails, and then a ridiculously difficult process should you try to fix it. I never had to contact them and ask to pay this. I was trying to do the right thing. This is unbelievable.
Love, love, love!!. I was deeply skeptical about inKind at first because I couldn't imagine this app was for real (or deeply harmful to restaurants a la Groupon). But in 9 months, I've tried more than 40 restaurants I wouldn't have visited if not for this app, saving more than $1,000 (yes, my app tracks!). I've had delightful meals and experienced fantastic service from inKind whenever I needed support. I can't recommend them enough — in fact, I've referred more than 15 people since I started in August 2024!
Changes in Service are deceptive. Recently went round and round with InKind support as my rewards had disappeared and I was not accruing the stated cash back offers. Come to find out that these cash back offers only apply to a single credit card purchase, at time of sale. I was using monies loaded into my InKind wallet for convenience and now that ease of purchase is being used against me. On top of that, I had originally received a $10 off $30 monthly bonus reward which was eliminated with the Terms of Service but not mentioned anywhere. The case of me not being allowed to participate in obtaining the rewards due to monies in my InKind wallet is what is pushing me to just delete the app in its entirety. What once was a great incentive to try new places has now soured my thinking about this app. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks this way.
DON’T GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID!. This is literally the first time I have ever written a review for an app but I’m so upset I had to make others aware. I signed up and yes the app worked ONCE and helped me save money off the dining bill. But then a few weeks later, ALL of the restaurants in Michigan disappeared from the app! Not a single restaurant uses InKind anymore. But wait that’s not the worst part; it won’t allow me to cancel the membership. When I click on “Cancel Membership” it first asks “Are you sure you want to cancel” something typical like that, and after I click that I want to confirm the cancellation, it says an error has occurred. Terrible! I have to call my bank now
Fantastic Experience. I went out with a big group (8ppl) and wanted to try out the InKind app at a participating restaurant, but worried that it would be complicated given my large party. I experienced just the opposite. It was so easy to use, I paid exactly my share and the manager told me that they love when customers use the app to pay for a bill. It is easy and seamless on both sides. That and given you get more credit as you add funds to your account, I will definitely be using InKind. And my friends are starting to use it too. It helps me AND helps restaurants, so I am here for it.
Just double-check the pricing. The app appears to be easy and helpful, but with my first order, I noticed after the fact that the ordering prices in the app were inflated compared to buying direct through the restaurant site or app. This did not appear to be the case when I tried a different restaurant, so all I can say is, be aware and do a quick compare to see if you really are saving money. I’ll still use the app, but I would have wanted to be told about this, so I’m sharing it for others.
App continues to crash on me!. Tried many times and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but continues to crash on me. Waste of my time and I already have several hundred dollars in credit on the app for a local restaurant. Had to use my credit card even though I have already prefunded this house account for this restaurant. What’s the point of this app if it’s not going to work when It’s time to pay the bill?!
Do not use. I bought gift cards at Costco, mostly to use at Buca de Beppo. Shortly after I bought the gift cards the restaurant disappeared from the app. I wrote to InKind and asked for a refund. They wouldn’t do it. Then I found El Torito in the app and we went and used some of the money. Now we decided to go again and the restaurant is not there again. There are only 2 restaurants in my area, hot dogs and pizza. I have once again asked for a refund, over $300. I am waiting for their response. I will not use the app again as it’s unpredictable and it’s making me concerned that the restaurants are dropping off without notice to the customers.
Excellent Customer Service Following App Outage. Updating my review... A prompt response to my email to support with an apology and resolution following a crash to its servers has restored my trust in its service and I will attempt to use it again. There was also a training issue at the restaurant (server should have been able to manually charge the house account) which I’m told has been corrected. ————————————— This is incredibly frustrating, even when attached to WiFi the app doesn’t connect and continuously crashes. I can’t use the credit in the account and had to pay by credit card rendering the app useless.
The app took back the $50 sign up bonus just because too many people are signing up lately. If InKind can’t afford to keep its promise, then don’t make an offer to begin with!! The app is having a deal with Amex so many Amex users have been signing up for this app. The app used to offer a $50 credit on their website + $25 referral bonus = I had $75 credit in my account. Today I saw people saying InKind deleted their own $50 offer (probably due to the influx of users like me who heard about the app from Amex), I checked my app and it’s true, now I only have $25 referral credit. I’m speechless. I’ve never seen any business do this. Glad I didn’t use this app yet though I was planning to use it tomorrow.
Game changer for dining out!. It’s crazy to think a company like this hasn’t existed till now. I eat out A LOT and some of my favorite restaurants are on inKind all over the country. I mostly eat at inKind restaurants now and I love how they support the industry too. You spend the money you were already going to spend eating out, you just get bonus credit on top of that. Great product, great customer service!
customer service issue resolved. I had an issue two weeks ago at Jaleo in DC. The restaurant made an erroneous charge to my inKind account, and they did not know how to reverse it. I had sent a message through the inKind app which was not addressed. Finally I found their customer service email address in these reviews, and using that, inKind handled the problem promptly. I suggest inKind add a link to their email under “Support” in their app.
Promotion lies. I downloaded this app after a friend referred it to me as there was a “special promotion” for $150 to use at any restaurant. I double checked the provisions to make sure there wasn’t a catch, no small print or anything like that. My friend used it and got $150 worth of food in his area absolutely free, me on the other hand looked stupid when I tried to explain to Smokey Bones the said promotion, and then the app magically changed to *after you spend $300. Originally it did not say this (an hour later) I wanted to use the app afterwards but I’m very skeptical their terms and conditions will change again if I order in the future through Inkind. I deleted this app and will let my other friends know this was a promotional scam.
Great Savings, yummy foods!. Initially, I was skeptical about using the app after reading some mixed reviews. However, I decided to give it a try after dining. I entered my information into the app, and my discount was successfully applied. At one point, I became concerned about my information being stolen, so l promptly deleted my credit card details from the app. Despite this, I had no issues and am happy with the outcome. I'm looking forward to using it again.
Doesn’t work. I liked the idea behind this app but after downloading and giving it my phone number and email and allowing it to send me ads- which I wasn’t thrilled with- and accessing my location info- it kept offering me restaurants in Nashville. I’m in MINNESOTA- I couldn’t find a way to search by zip, city, or even state. I scrolled thru offerings that led me from “30 miles” (Nashville) to out of the country. I’m deleting this and hoping I don’t get a ton of spam. Oh! I also tried to report my concerns but they only take complaints about you experience with the app in a restaurant. I wish I had gotten that far.
They apparently have no safeguards in place. They can’t keep your account information safe. After having a terrible day in the hospital because of a car accident, I turned my phone on to find my account hacked and someone able to send a $650 gift to themselves costing me $499. I couldn’t report it as theft or fraud since my card was on file and it is considered a “billing dispute”. I have to wait for the charge to go through and then I can file a billing dispute. Not worth the hassle. Terrible app, terrible support, and terrible communication.
I don’t often review, but this was too much!. The experience that I had with this app felt like a complete scam. It involved Black Rooster Taqueria in Orlando Fl. The ad said that you would get 15 dollars off your meal if you spend 45 dollars by using InKind. So we did, but then we are told that it doesn’t apply to the current meal but to the next one. Then when I go to use my 15 dollars off it says that I have to spend another 45+ plus in order to apply the discount. A complete disgrace! So in order to get 15 bucks off a meal I have to spend close to a 100 dollars at a taqueria?! Not to mention the time spent signing up and putting your information on the app. I guess InKind stands for thieves banding together.
I NEVER write app reviews but…. This app is honestly for the steals!!!! it gives you so much discounts and coupons and cashback points for every transaction so if you think about it really you’re saving almost 40 to 30%. Within the first two transactions, it gave me and my boyfriend, a free ice cream night out on the That would have cost us $40. I have saved so much instantly from this app and it’s made me try out new restaurants that I would have never gone out of my way for and been very delighted .The codes apply to the happy hours so you save so much as well on top of that.
Absolute best restaurant app. Sometimes it could be a bit confusing, but whether it works, which is just about all the time you can save lots of money and the promotions just keep coming, and they seem to be adding restaurants all the time which makes it even more useful.
Fantastic app - I highly recommend. I downloaded this app only because it was part of Amex offers. I kept seeing it Amex app again and again and decided to download it. And it’s been a great decision. I absolutely love this app. In 3 months I have been using this app in NYC, I have easily saved over $200. Even without the Amex offer, the monthly fee for the app is worth all the money and more. I would also recommend because through the app I found two great restaurants in NYC - Kanyakumari and Kabob aur sharaab. I also had great experience with their support team. For some reason, I didn’t get the monthly $50 promo in my account, they added it without any questions asked. Only small issue I have faced - in places where the internet connection isn’t great, you won’t be able to pay using the app. Happened to me once in Maman but haven’t happened since.
Do not signup. Very shady company. They do not let you delete your Acct once you realize their app is 100% worthless. I know inKind wants to show that they have a high number of registered users so they look more successful but it’s unethical to disallow people to deactivate or delete their accounts. To inKind: If you try to sell this company and it’s proven what you did, you will lose. It’s been 20 minutes and your deactivation is still clocking Would you like me to show restaurants what you’re doing ? Restaurants, These aren’t active users, they are people who want to delete their accounts but this app won’t let them.

The Worst app I have ever used.. Disappointing in the service they provide it took over a month for me to be able to use the gift I was given via Inkind I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
Disappointed. Didn’t work and unable to find supposed credit voucher at the time of paying.
Loving it in NZ!. Using inKind app for my Universal Voucher credit in Auckland has been super easy - love that only small businesses are featured and it’s cashless ❤️
The best. ALWAYS the best and always consistently the same best tasting awesome coffee
Offer excellent benefit. Easy to use, offer excellent benefit, I saved so much money next I dine out!😍😍😍
**** Be warned. Ever wonder what happens if a restaurant goes broke ? Speak to the team at inKind and they say you have to follow it up with the restaurant that has closed up. They provide you with contact details and say that when you signed up you received a welcome credit so when you write to the Restaurant that closed, request a refund less the welcome credit ? Firstly what is the point of using this app if there is no benefit to the user and secondly, as if a restaurant that closed will credit you. Use this app and run the risk that if a business goes broke, you are on your own! You have been warned. I have only provided the facts as they have occurred. I will now write to apple for assistance so let’s see.
Great customer service. Dealt with Michael from customer service, he was very quick and attentive to my fault. Great to see how efficient and proactive this business is. 10/10
Cool app. Great way to eat out. This really makes eating out great. Great saving and really easy to navigate.
Thanks for fixing the bug about Reduce Motion quickly. I used the App to pay and couln’t get passed the review screen. So, I contact the developer team and they were able to investigate and suggested the solution in a timely manner. The developer was very accomodative and friendly. Thanks a lot to for the fix. Please keep up the good work. :)

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t work
Literally nothing works. Feels very scammy. Can’t link card. Can’t search restaurant. Even with location access. Asks for phone email payment. And does absolutely nothing.
Scam ?. Can’t link the card . Is this a scam ?
Bad app. Doesn't work. Bad app. Nothing works. Very questionable
Does not work. Went to a restaurant in Bethesda because of the $25 off offer. Told to use the app. App is useless. Can’t link card. « App support » gets you to InKind website, no support anywhere. What kind of rink-a-dink business is this?
Seems like a scam. This app is promoted through different restaurant websites and the first thing they want from you is all your information to market to you and yourcredit card. And then it doesn’t give you the promotion promised. Do not download this app.
Payment Linking Doesnt Work. Gets stuck at linking a card and cannot access my new account.
Trash App. Doesn’t work, can’t explore. Horrible experience just to get $5 off. Deleting it now
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Excellent value and easy.. Found out about this app when at a restaurant having dinner with my family. Saved $25 instantly. Will be using this app from now on.
Takeout items are marked up. Bloated app. Paid around 12% more for every time ordered. Was enticed by the $25 coupon, which in the end was offset by the markups for every item. Annoying pop ups and pages that make ordering way too cumbersome. Not sure what the advantage of using app instead of going directly to restaurants online take out service.
Penny Ann’s is our favorite. This is our go-to restaurant. Thank you so much for getting a way to “wait list”. The only draw/back is how hard it is to get in.
If you signed up for the $150 credit, tough luck !. revoked my $150 credit on any purchase and changed it to $150 off $300🤦♀️i have a few restaurants in my city that accept inkind so i was excited to use it afterwards but now it just seems unfair, i was one of the firsts to sign up for the credit, too ! very disappointed, just gonna delete.
New Fall menu and German monthly menu. We were pleasantly surprised to see so many new fall items (the Fall Squash Soup) on the “regular” menu. And to try some yummy noshables (Weisswurst with a knockout sauerkraut with whole grain mustard and the Cauliflower Salad that was so unique). Next month is Peruvian. Mmm delicious as always.
Don’t believe the offers. Don’t fall for the $25 off your first order of $50 or more. You will see the reward, but you will never be able to apply it. You will pay 100% for every order. Bottom line, order from local owners who look you in the eye. Stay far away from corporate chains and restaurant apps. We as a consumers have had enough. Buy local small businesses, put all greedy corporations out of business.
Fabulous Savings. This gives us an opportunity to try new restaurants and save money ! Love this app. So easy to use and convenient.
Unable to fix order with missing food. Picked up an order that was placed through app and over $25 of food was missing. There was no way to address this issue in app. When I called restaurant for refund they were unable to figure out how to process a refund through inkind. Would not recommend and will not use again in the future.
Never using again. I was trying to use the $50 credit and when it was time yo check out it was so messy. The app kept saying my card was declined but then charged my card. It eventually refunded the money but I didn’t even bother trying to use the app for the credit I just paid the full amount and left. It was just inconvenient and messy. The checking out process didn’t not go as smoothly as I had hoped.
Unreal app lifesaver in this economy. The inKind app is an amazing lifesaver in this economy. I can’t believe how many benefits I obtain doing things that I already do. A win for restaurants that participate too as tips for servers and cooks will go up.
Best option to get more for your money. I am a foodie & wine lover. I eat out at least 3 times a week. This is the best option to get more for your dollar value 👌
The best app for dining. Amazing ability to pay check directly from my phone and get huge discounts
Doesn’t work. Restaurant had the advertisement on the dinner table. Signed up, dropped $100 into the app. Bill came but the app couldn’t find the bill (right location, right ticket #). Restaurant said they were having issues with the app as well and nothing they can do. Ended up having to pay my bill again. $100 bill but ended up paying $200.
Horrible. I lost $100 and no way to claim.. I clicked on web link from one of the participating restaurants and decided to purchase $100 credit. It took my money, and told me to download the app. Unfortunately there is no way to link my purchase to account I set up on app. The email at it automatically used for the purchase is unreachable. This app is insanely bad. You can lose mo ey big time.
WOW. This app is the most amazing thing I’ve seen for people who love to dine out and save money. I keep spending money on it and it keeps giving me more back!
The app takes forever to load and navigate?. My first time in the last five years waiting for an app to load for close to a minute to show up, and the navigations within the all is toooooo slow, like after 15seconds what I clicked finally responded? How did average review gave this app five stars????? My phone is only 3 years old (is it just me?
Did not take the $25 off. I am so upset!! I received the offer for bucca di brook for $25 off of $50 bill. I followed all the instructions and when it came time to pay it appeared to be taking the discount off, however when I selected to done button it charged the full price. We would not have gone to this restaurant tonight had it not been from this offer sent in the email.
Great but. How come u don't have an option to only show places that are open? I clicked on 10 different places u have showing on the main page and every single one said closed. Why don't u show places that r open or at least make it an option.
Our meal. Absolutely wonderful as usual… my wife had her usual omelette and loved it I asked about the chili covered nachos and Cindi said they were favorite… I tried them for a change and now they are MY FAVORITE….keep up the good work !!
I love this app. One of our favorite restaurants participates in InKind and this has made it easier, more convenient and more affordable. We certainly dine there more frequently thanks to InKind. I don’t know why more people don’t take advantage. When we first started using inkind, the monthly offers were very motivating. Lately, the offers are not as useful. I have found the customer service reps to be very efficient. Thank you InKind.
So easy!. Can’t believe this gives me a discount at my favorite restaurant, helps me get a table and allows me to check out faster than even using a credit card. Love this app!!
Appreciate the 25% off but could have been a more seamless experience. The app was cool and it’s nice seeing a new payment method, however a manager had to come by and validate each separate transaction. Would like to see a more streamlined system next time I use this at a participating location.
The Saint. Fantastic restaurant experience in Dallas very classy without being pretentious Bartender Marco was wonderful. Chianti that was served for happy hour was quite nice as well. We had the oysters, Wagyu burger and fries. The caviar and small potato were interesting, but it was quite small but a good taste experience.
Love this app!. Totally worth getting! I use it to pay when we go out and get nice surprises along the way! It is by far the kindest app I have. The name suits it so well. I wouldn’t go anywhere without it. Lots and lots of options and very handy.
Favorite app. This app has saved me so much money on taking many people put to eat. If you love to eat and drink this will save you a lot
Holy Smokes!!. I thought this app seemed too good to be true, but it’s not!! I don’t know how this works so seamlessly and easy to check out, but it does! Highly recommend!! I can’t even hate keep this app because it is so amazing.
Feeling cheated. As a frequent inKind user I got an email asking to take a short survey to receive $10 in appreciation of my time. After I had submitted my feedback you said oh sorry this is only for new signup users. Why the heck you sending me an email for it and purposely hiding this requirement to trick me into doing the survey. You just lost an loyal user and once I used up all my credits I am deleting the app. Very disappointed!
Love the new look and functionality. I have dined out with InKind multiple times and love it! It’s saved me a few hundred $$ and makes paying for the meal a breeze. I just wish they would add more restaurants on in Austin
NCAA outing. Beautiful and comfortable atmosphere. Great big screen tv set up that’s all on one wall so you don’t have to keep swiveling in your chair to watch multiple tv’s. Friendly staff. Definitely will come back. Shout out to Rizzo a.ka. Grandpa 😝
Good but restaurant would suddenly disappear. There is a nearby restaurant I go often that is on inKind app, so I decided to purchase the credits ahead. However, two days after I purchased the credits, that restaurant suddenly disappeared and now leaving me nowhere to spend them (that is the only restaurant on the inKind app I would eat out). There is no way I can get all my money back
Terrible Quality, Never works on 1st try!!!. Do not use this app. It is terrible. Every time I try to use it at Currito it will take 5 or 6 tries before it even goes through, if it goes through. I have had a number of times where it didn’t even work at all. It’s super embarrassing to use in line and makes you feel like a fool. DEFINITELY AVOID. If I could choose ZERO STARS I would.
I love this system!. This makes payments so simple. And the app has been doing a good job being accurate. I can separate my bill easily from the group I'm with, as well. Love this! Thanks!
Fantastic savings. At a time when restaurant prices have skyrocketed, this app gives me 30-40% off plus monthly bonuses. Easy to use and very easy to recommend.
Dining made easy. I have been really impressed by inkind dining experience. The app keeps all dining logs and provides savings and simplicity in making payments. No need to take out credit card.
Dysfunctional. Had a good experience using this app in restaurant, but having trouble using it for a takeout order. The app force closes every time I try to check the status of my order so I can’t tell if it was properly placed or not. Was also not sent any sort of confirmation to my email or phone # on file.
Scam! I had $150 in food credits. You took away my $150 in food credits. I had it saved to my account and signed up through your app. At first it says there’s no minimum spend, but the offer was changed to a minimum spend of $300 to get $150 off, this was after I already had the previous offer saved. What a total scam of a company. I will never use them or tell anyone to use this app or company for its services…
IN STORE ONLY. The fact this only works in store and is not clear to find anywhere in the directions is sneaky to a level that is gross. I even did google searches and searched their page and it was NOT CLEAR. It should be written somewhere, ANYWHERE, that this ONLY works in store and NOT with online pick-up, even if you are ordering AND paying THROUGH THIS VERY SAME APP!!!! I swear it’s scam design….
Amazing app. Saving tons of money and getting to find new restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone who likes eating out and saving money
Dinning Rewards. Enjoy using the app and receiving dining rewards and cash back credit. We’re eating out either way and if there is a restaurant that is listed through the app, they make it easy to pay using their app.
Needs improvement in search function. The app needs a map so I can search for restaurants near me. Also, the list of restaurants does not immediately say which city they’re located in. This is a major drawback to finding a restaurant, especially since there’s also no map. There are 33 cities just in Orange County alone.
Frustrating. If you get a text in the middle of ordering it kicks you out and it wasn’t obvious how to get back to the online ordering. I’d love it to be more clear how to get back to the cart at the restaurant I was ordering from. Also, I needed to order in a short time for a large group and one section showed the menu but you couldn’t put things in the cart.
This app is great.. You save on meals and get rewards for eating at some of my favorite restaurants. Hard to eat out without using it! Glad I found Inkind.
Worth it. This app is seriously worth having, I have had so many dining experiences that made me feel like I was being hookup over and over again.
App doesn’t work. Similar to some of the reviews here, I downloaded the app (for an offer) that didn’t work. I keep trying to place an order but it shows an error even after trying different forms of payment. Support has been fairly quick to respond but hasn’t resolved the issue. Starting to think it wasn’t meant to be.
Scam or faulty app. Downloaded the app for the $50 off promo went to an expensive restaurant bazzar by Jose Andreas and when I tried the app at home it worked fine, second I got to restaurant I got a weird technical difficulty page so got stuck with an expensive bill at a place I wouldn’t have tried. Reached out to customer service they were rude and didn’t care to fix issue.
You spend extra in the long run.. I thought this app sounded good but after using it for a while, I now realize it doesn’t work out in your favor. They make it seem like you’ll save big but in the end, you won’t. I won’t get into it and usually don’t leave reviews but I’m sick of false advertising. Sort these reviews by most recent and you’ll see what people are really saying.
Did not work. Loaded the app, found a restaurant to save $25. If spending $100. Activated it but it would not allow me to use it. Manager looked at it and said it’s bc I had to use on next visit. App would not let me select to use the $25. Off. Had I known this, I would not have ordered two $14. Milkshakes. No where can I find that I have to use on my next visit. How do you know this wasn’t my “next visit”? Deleting the app. No way would I ever pay for this app.
Had difficulty paying. My favorite pizza spot sent me an email with an bonus offer when I buy inKind credit. I used the app to order my next pie and it charged my credit card. The restaurant told me it’s better to order in the restaurant. Next time I go in to order and the cashier tells me I have to use the app. This system isn’t ready for prime time.
Easy to use & earn credits. I used this app at Juliet Italian Kitchen in Austin. It was easy to purchase credit & redeem in restaurant and I love that I got a bonus. The feature that shows what restaurants are in your area that partner with InKind is pretty neat too.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. This app doesn't even work. I had a $50 credit to a restaurant and I couldn't even use it. I even emailed customer support before I went and they explained to me how to use it and I ended up paying the full bill. In my opinion, it is a complete scam and I highly recommend you stay away unless you want to go through the process of disputing it with your credit card company.
