Used to be great for sending mass texts. Easy to use. The first time I used it I was able to name my conversations on my phone, iPhone 8 plus has a no such feature, but I think it was a glitch because I never got to do it again. The other prob is removing people. You must do it from the app...HOWEVER, in this latest version the app doesn’t work at all now. It breaks the people down into groups of 9. I have groups that have upwards to 300 people...I can never get a message through because it gets hung up. I didn’t realize it was doing this either, would’ve been nice to have been warned. I used to love it otherwise but now...it doesn’t work. Our iPhones already does groups of 9...more now actually. If you can go back to groups of 90 that would be GREAT...make groups great again, please.

Grateful. I am grateful to have an app that allows me to send group texts to my art students from my iPhone. I would appreciate a little better tutorial about using the app as it has been a bit of trial and error. I purchased the full app so I could send to a larger group but when I combined all my smaller groups into one it fails. In fact, if I try to send a text message to more than17 members it fails. I have to select my group, select all names, select text messaging format, compose my message, override names with multiple phone numbers listed, wait for composed message to be pasted into text message and click send. Repeat. THREE times. Every week! Tedious. Over all, it does what I need it to do and until I find a better option, it is what it is.

Mass delete contacts!. Lets be honest, this app is very clunky and I would never use it on a daily basis. BUT! I’m giving it 5-Stars anyways because it has the ability to mass delete contacts from my phone!!! Why will Apple not put this in the default contacts app?! Way to go Groups for solving this need! Had a ton of old contacts from past jobs clogging up my contacts app and I just cleared them out in minutes vs. the hours it would have taken to do them one by one. Thank you!

Unless u want to delete all your contacts do not use!. I am hurting us up because I read an article it would be useful to delete duplicate phone numbers when you have large numbers of contacts you want to delete and have to do it individually with an iPhone. This app supposed to make it easy well that was completely wrong. I don’t know if it’s just me or if anyone else agrees that it’s a very confusing to use and after playing around with it for a little bit and getting no results I somehow thought I was deleting the duplicates and deleted my entire phonebook permanently. I went from having 1000 contacts to having none and no way to restore them that I could find anyway. Now I will be spending multiple hours trying to go through and pick peoples phone numbers out of text messages just to get some of the contacts I have back. Not user-friendly not clear or explanatory. I guess it got rid of those duplicate numbers and every other phone number that I wanted to keep. beware before using

Groups Review. This is one of my favorite Apps. It has allowed me to simplify messaging to groups with one simple selection of all contacts. I did have a few problems early with the app. as a member in multiple groups seemed to confuse the operation of the app. in sending messages. That appears to have straightened out and all is working well. The information on additional purchases is unclear, contributed some money anyway in hopes of further app. development. For me this was a great purchase and have recommended it to many friends.

Great but a few Bugs. Loved this app for years. I use Apple Contacts. Have fully paid version of Groups. Have a problem but no way to let them know except here. 1. When I sort groups, they pop back to original place. 2. Groups should be in same order as my native contacts app 3. When I search in all contacts, it’s shows duplicate names that are not duplicates in native contacts app 4. App is not syncing with native contact app. Why isn’t there a way to contact developers except here?

This app is ok..... I have the upgraded version and this app helps to get the job done (when it doesn’t crash), but it is by no means perfect and not always intuitive. I have over 300 contacts in many groups. I would like to be able to see my groups listed in alphabetical order rather than the order in which they were created. I have contacts synced with both Gmail and iCloud and was having problems with members synced with Gmail not being displayed in Contacts when placed in groups and those groups selected in Contacts, if that makes sense, even though I could see them in Groups and in All Contacts in Apple’s Contacts app. The fix was to import all my Gmail contacts into iCloud via my PC. All in all, it was easiest to organize my groups in iCloud on my PC first, delete all the duplicates, and use Groups as a supplemental app.

Bug filled. How can it even be 1 Star if it simply does not work?? The thought behind the app is good and it works in general but I have experienced several bugs that almost make me just dump it and find something different. When you import your contacts it duplicates all of them. There is actually a menu choice to address duplicates but you have to address them 1 at a time which is absurd. If it is supposed to do them in larger groups then that just doesn’t work either. Even after resolving some duplicates I come back to the app weeks later and my contacts are duplicates again. I don’t know how many times I have went through and “resolved” them. It also duplicated my groups created and changes the individuals in those groups. I start with 1 group to keep it simple, add 10 contacts and it is all good. I come back days later and the group is duplicates and the contact are all jumbled to the point you have to edit the group again. I have also done this multiple times. I have emailed about these issues and have never heard anything from anyone. It also randomly deletes groups I have saved. I purposely started with 1 small group once I noticed all the bugs and just today when I open the app I have zero groups saved. I had used the group several times before and now poof it is gone. This app is pretty much worthless

Adding people. I love using Groups! As a Kindergarten teacher, it’s so handy when I send messages to my student’s parents. I just click the class and send all a quick announcement or message. It’s also easy to just send a message to a select few parents from the group or even individual. What I don’t like is when I get a new student mid-year, it won’t let me add a new contact. It appears to be added, but when I go back later, the new contact is no longer there. I have continued to try to add new contacts over and over. The new ones disappear. The only thing I can do is delete the entire group and start all over. Ugh!

GROUPS is wonderful!. The GROUPS app is a wonderful extension to Apple's MAIL app on iPhone! GROUPS enables me to create/manage email distribution lists on my phone. It is easy to use and I've never had a problem with it! —————————————————- I wrote that review years ago... unfortunately, I’m having some problems with it now and though I’ve tried several times to work through the problem myself, I can’t seem to get it to work. Thus the low rating (2 stars). I checked the BUILT IN help (and verified that Groups has access to Contacts). I will happily change my rating back to 5 stars when this problem is resolved... My problem: I can’t add a new contact (or an existing contact) to a group. The group that I want to update with a new member has 9 members and I want to add a 10th member. Is there a limit on the number of members I can add to a group? I had 10 members working before, then I deleted one. I tried to add a different contact into the same Group. Groups reports that the new account was added, but Contacts is not aware of the update. I am running iOS 13.3.1 and Group 3.11.8 Please fix this because the management of groups is VERY important to me, and as it stands now, I can’t use the group feature (reliably).

Love the app ... When it works. It started out great and I absolutely touted its attributes to all I knew. As time has went on, something changed and it is so unstable. That’s why after a couple years of using it I just now (8/1/18) have been trying to contact support only to find there is none. Great features, love the app but it’s unstable. I like it so much I even contributed toward the developers, but as it happens in life, it fails at the worst times. I’m looking elsewhere. When it comes to customer service, this app gets a “0”. This is the only app I’ve ever tried to resolve issue through the developer, but they have yet to reply. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere until they stabilize this app. If they ever contact me and resolve this issue, I will however most likely go back to it (maybe).

Well Worth The Time for Large Groups. I have used Groups for years to send Messages to my clients as well as my choir members. You may need to make several lists (9 people per list or fewer) BUT it is a great way to get information to a large group of people, especially like my situation when I was contacting over 100 people at a time. I would type 1 text message, copy & paste it to 12 lists and that’s it! I’ve sent info to over 100 people in less than 5 minutes for free!!! It’s a little time consuming compiling & saving the lists, but after you do it 1 time you have it forever. If you constantly need to get info to a large group, it’s well worth the time!!!

Since I can’t get it to work.... I am usually not so negative about an app but this one really failed to meet my expectations. First off I took advantage off your half off special on various options, and I have had to restore them every time I have attempted to use the app 👎🏼. Second I tried sending a couple of test texts and after not receiving a reply I found out the texts were not received 👎🏼. So I sent two emails requesting assistance and never received a reply (not even a auto response)👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. After reading about this app and seeing a recommendation in the App Store I couldn’t wait to download this app. However i was disappointed. I will not tell others not to try this app because their experiences might be different from mine. I just wanted to express my opinion here with the buyer beware caveat. 😟

Perfect to keep from scrolling and scrolling. I have about 3000 contacts in my phone. I’ve used it for work, my own business, and personal. Sometimes you don’t want to get rid of contact information but you don’t want to have to scroll through everything. It allows you to sort by work contacts, personal contacts, or any other way you wanna separate them. Then you can choose which one or ones you want to see.

No longer works. I use this with reasonable success for the past year. However with iOS 11 after an update it no longer works as soon as I try to send an SMS it crashes. One other annoying problem is that when sending an SMS to a long list of people with dynamic names it would get slower and slower as each text was sent. I eventually just sent the text messages out in groups of 10 and then would force close the app and do another group of 10. If I tried to send to all 100 names it would be almost impossible after about 20 record because of how slow it was, nearly 30 seconds per name.

Buggy and ugly UI. Really buggy and a very unattractive UI. I found myself struggling to read white text on a light gray background as well as frequently getting stuck by the app just freezing/refusing to back out of menus. Would not recommend as a substitute for traditional contacts app. What it is useful for, however, is mass-deleting contacts. I wanted to delete about 100 old contacts from over the years and going through the multi-step process in the built in contacts app to delete each individually wasn't an option. This app made it easy to delete them all in one go. The ability to merge duplicate contacts into one was also really handy the one time I was allowed to do so. Any further uses are apparently behind a pay wall as attempting to merge just brought up a an empty white box that said "unlock all features!" at the bottom. As is becoming a common occurrence with this app, I can't tell if it's just another instance of poorly designed graphics or more white text on white background. Either way, following the prompt leads you to the "unlock all features" for $9.99. Ultimately, this app is helpful for deleting contacts en masse while hurting your eyes and not much else.

Great product and much needed. I can’t believe apple and Microsoft still don’t have the groups feature working well in the mobile email apps. I use this app very much as I need to communicate with staff of 35 teacher for Sunday School and also group of church leadership of 13 and having these groups prebuilt and being able to send either text or email saves me so much time. I have been using app for a few years now and it has gotten better over the years and is still needed and preferred over apples convoluted way of creating a group.

I like it a lot, just wish they can get it to stop crashing. Lots to love about this app. I run a restaurant with many different departments. The easy ability to create groups & add a person to multiple groups is excellent. And I can just as easily remove them from individual groups or from all groups. I also like that I can easily "Mail merge" each recipient's first name into a mass text -- makes it feel all that more personal. In the recent version, they fixed the autocorrect bugaboo that actually didn't autocorrect your text -- now it does! They've really come a long way in its reliability. It used to crash frequently but that has almost completely stopped. YAY!

Nice App. Nice app. The contacts app that came on my iPhone used to work well with groups until an update to OS6 made it frustrating to use. I bought this app and it works great with my Outlook contacts sorted by Company. The only thing I would change is when you click on the group name for the company it displays all the names in that group which is great. Under each name it shows the group name which is rather redundant. I would prefer to see the their title under their name.

Horrible!. When I first went into the app it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to delete a lot of old contacts without having to do each one separately. I made a group of those contacts but when I deleted those all of my contacts were wiped out. I could not find anything in the app that restore the contacts. I tried to restore them through my Apple account and the app apparently wiped that out as well. I sent a message to the developer but that was never answered. Fortunately I had an old iPad that still had the contact list. After over an hour the Apple support person was able to help me restore my contacts from the old iPad. Without that device I would have had to find a way to contact everyone in my contact list in order to rebuild the list. I can’t believe an app that allows you to delete information does not have something to allow you to restore information if you make a mistake. If you use this app - and I recommend ditching it - save your contact list to a separate device.

Great Program. Outstanding program! Easy to set up and use. The only issues I've had with it is that sometime it deletes group members for some unknown reason. The other is that my groups go by names and cell numbers. Communication within the is by text. However, the recipients see only the name of the other group members. There should be a simple way to do that from within the program. Right now I have to individually type the entire list when anyone new joins. I've reported both issues but have yet to get any recommendations as to how to fix either.

Finally Working Again!. UGH! I finally figured out why I couldn’t get my Groups App to work - like something was keeping it from accessing my phone Contacts! -> Must’ve been something in the latest iOS update that changed my Restrictions. Not only did I have a hell of a time even FINDING where my Restrictions were in this iOS version, but it took me over 3 weeks to finally find it! I had Contact Restrictions on & the Groups App kept giving me an error message upon opening that it needed access to my Contacts. No matter where it took me to, or where I looked, in my phone Settings, I could NOT find the issue! But I FINALLY did tonight - under Screen Time, of all things! Good grief! If I wouldn’t have Googled where Restrictions where, I’d STILL be looking! Ugh! Grrr! But my Groups App is finally back to working correctly! Geez, what a hell the last 3+ weeks have been without it! I’m changing my 1star rating to a 5 star rating, now! But seriously, QBix DOES still need better customer service support! It’s extremely frustrating to have an issue, and have no where to turn to help figure it out!

Time Saver!! Very Very Pleased!!. Very happy with this app!! Very intuitive and easy to use. This is definitely a keeper. My only suggestions at this point would be to allow you to attach a V card to the mass text messages and to be able to send a mass text messages without reviewing each individual one, still keeping them as single individual text messages. It is amazing how easy it is to group your contacts into custom categories. Will be recommending this to my friends and associates.

I️ love this app but.... i love this app! It makes communicating with my customers extremely easy but the system is slow. Currently to add a new contact to a pre-made group it’s taking over 30 seconds for the page to reload. Then the typing slows down. i don’t have time for slow downs when i need to add 30 plus contacts. Also when sending a group message but only one contact at a time, it gets slow after the 10-15th person. When 300 people are receiving a message from me, i once again don’t have time for the slow down. How can you fix this?

Awesome!!!. This app is incredible... I'm in the insurance property restoration business, and this helps me organize all the various trades, as well as my contacts with adjusters and property management companies. I love the versatility and the way it allows for personalization. The only issue I have experienced is when I initially create a contact, the app does not display the contact immediately. It generally takes a couple of minutes before it’s available in my contact list. Thanks

Good app. I really like this app. It is definitely worth paying a small amount for it; it’s not expensive. And, since various upgrades have happened it syncs absolutely seamlessly with I-phone contacts. I really love the ease in creating groups of people with various emails, labeling any way we want, and many other features. Now, if we could stop seeing ads! We already paid for the full version and don’t need stickers and such. It’s still a great app. One of my favorites.

Helpful app. Sending out the same message to a group of people is much less invasive with this app. By using the merge fields you're able to send the same message to a lot of people without having everyone need to hear each other's responses with incessant notifications! You can easily add and remove members to specific groups and quickly get information out to a large number of people. The only drawback I see is that as the app is populating each text message to each person, it requires that you hit send to each person. This means you potentially have people answering as you are still sending which is a bit distracting. With my iPhone I'm able to just swipe those responses away until I'm finished sending them all. But all in all the pros far outweigh the cons.

Best phone contact list.. I’ve been using this app for some time now and it’s very handy. No longer do I have to scroll through a long list of names for the one I want. I setup a few groups for my phone contacts and now I only have to search the limited names within that one group. Very versatile app with inexpensive options. The only one important thing is that you need to have a “name” for each entry and not just a company name alone. Once I filled out the “name” on all entries the app was able to allow my selection for a particular group.

App Just Crashes. Update - The developers were very responsive to problems i had with the ads and i am now back on business. Good Job! I have used this app for years and did the update tonight and now the app just continually crashes. I wish i could go back 45 minutes and not update app because it wasworking before this. Please fix this. I use this app often and would hate to have to go to something else.

Some glitches and confusion. I purchased the premium option about a year ago. Now the premium features have stopped working and the app is asking me to purchase for $10 the ability to use the premium features I already purchased. Also I started to experience some problems sending group texts. The app wouldn’t let me send larger group texts unless I removed 4 or 5 of the recipients first. Not sure if I’ll continue using, looking at other options now. It stopped sending text messages after the latest Apple IOS 17 upgrade.

Warning!!!!!. I have over 1300 contacts. Tons tons!! of duplicates. Was looking for something that would help me efficiently find and merge duplicates. This app had good reviews. So i downloaded it. Played around with it. You could manually work your duplicates. Then I noticed it had an automated duplicates function. The function was really nicely designed. It grouped all the possible contacts that it thought you’d want to merge into one, but it let you uncheck any contact you didn’t want merged (bad match) then would merge the rest. You can guess where this is going. So i spent an hour and a half going through my potentially mergeable contacts. Everything looked great UNTIL I clicked the Merge button. The app pops up a message that ACTUALLY MERGING is an advanced feature and it costs 9.99 (don’t you love it when they do the 99 cents thing). Beyond frustrating. As a retired ex-IT guy, this is intentional. If it was version 1.0, I’d cut them some slack. If they popped up the message when you tried to first open the merge function, fine. You’re treating me like an adult. But nope, this is holding the potential customer up for ransom. Give us your $9.99 or kiss those hours you spent goodbye Avoid these guys. Also, if you google. This is april 2021. There is another app store app that has recently reduced it’s price to zero that fixed my contacts. Much better way to go.

Groups App is Awesome. This App has been a time saver for me concerning email and text message addresses to my groups. If you are sending out group emails and text messages in a small group environment in church, community, military organizations, clubs, etc., I recommend using this App. You can add addresses or phone numbers one time and choose each message or text who you want to include or who you want to leave out. You can also add and delete people as you desire. I highly recommend this App, and that’s without knowing what else it can do... Looking forward to the rest of you telling me what else I may be missing in this App. I also recommend you investing in the different upgrades that you need or if for no other reason, to support this company for this awesome App. Thanks. potentially fantastic but.... I love the idea of the app. And it is supposed to do exactly what I was hoping for. An easy solution for grouping my contacts and then easily texting different groups. The good: 1. Other people don’t have to have the app for it to work 2. Easy to Setup The problems: 1. It looks like it was designed on Windows 95, seriously its time for a facelift (to be fair, this is just looks). 2. A recent update made the text of my messages white font on a white background, now I can’t read my messages. 3. If people aren’t already in groups it’s difficult to include them in a group message. 4. The free version has adds and in app purchases, one of the options is a $9.99 fee to add all paid features and remove adds. I paid it and still get adds and don’t have all the features. Even after I hit the “restore purchases” button the app says purchases were restored but they’re not. I got ripped of my $9.99. Over all it’s a good idea, I want a way to group my contacts easily, but still use texts to communicate, this app sounded promising but failed.

I love the is app.... ... so why only two stars? While the app does everything I need it to, I have to work around a tonne of bugs to get it to do so. For example, when editing a contact from the 'All Contacts' list, if you press the Edit button on the contact before the Back button has appeared, you lock yourself into the edit function and the only way to get out of it, it to close the app. That's one example. There are literally tens of others that I can't begin to explain why they happen. I bought the app to provide the company or individual developer with compensation so hopefully in a future release these issues will be fixed and I can up my star rating.

Not Bad.... This app works well however the developers seem to be slow in responding to updates.,There is a “work around” for IOS 14 but there hasn’t been any fix for it! IOS 14 has been out for a while now but they don’t seem to be too concerned about it? Would they would at least let us know that it is being worked on - the silent treatment makes it look they they have forgotten the ones who support them! I would gladly give this a five star rating but can’t for that reason - please update the app!

Glitching Recently - doesn’t always save changes. Recently when updating a contact the changes won’t save them no matter how often I try. I finally give up and have to re-enter the entire contact again with changes. Very frustrating. Doesn’t happen every time, but I never had the problem until a few months ago. PLEASE FIX! UPDATE: It’s actually gotten worse! Now I can no longer make calls from it! After 4 years of great experience with this app it has suddenly become a big hot mess!

I want to give it 1 star but will give it more time in hopes that it will be updated and improved. The app is wonderful in concept. I purchased the app so that I can create a group of phone #s for work so that I can have access to it in my fingertips instead of looking for a # on a list or in a book. The design is fine but it is very painfully slow to use. There is a a huge delay when adding contacts (2-3 seconds per letter/number pressed) and a 3-5 second delay when I choose a contact to pull up. In that amount of time I could’ve found the # off a list on paper and found it using my regular contact list on my iPhone. I made sure the app is updated, closed other apps, and even restarted my phone to see if it would improve. Unfortunately, it did not make a difference. At this point, I may as well use my regular contact list. Please update and improve. Thank you.

Merging Contacts Bug. I was excited to see this app as I needed an app to help me manage the different groups of contacts I have. I’m running into a couple of issues. 1. The function to consolidate duplicates is great, the bug here is I can only successfully merge one set of duplicates, when I repeat the process to merge the next set of duplicates I get kicked out of the app, the app shuts down. So to merge the next set of duplicates I would have to go into the app and start the process from the beginning. Each time it allows me to merge one set of duplicates then the app shuts down. 2. The functionality that lists out all the contacts that have potential duplicates is great. However, the “merge” button is not enabled even after I have put a check mark next to each suggested contact that has duplicates, the result is I cannot do the group merge, even though intuitively I think this is the purpose of the list and the merge button. Can you please address these issues? Thanks

Simple & Best Groups App. “Groups” App Review I’ve always and often use this well-designed and simple contact app , for making control groups. My favorite element is that Groups allows the user to create their own groups, which, for me, is a fantastic way to categorize and sort Contacts by a specific type. I love that the “Groups” app is very easy to use, with very basic functionalities and options. This aspect helps users manage Contacts without having to research a tutorial or user guide. I’m sure there are many similar apps with much more options, functionalities and design specifications, but these definitely would require the burden of needing to research the tutorial/user guide and the internet to understand how to use it, as well as the time spent by learning it’s options and internal and/or external “help” features. I highly recommend this app if all that’s need is to sort/categorize Contacts. “Groups” only negative element is that the groups a user creates does not DO anything with them; it only sorts or categorizes specific info for the users’ benefit.

Really Bad App. This APP has struggled in freezing and not sending messages. They had updated that made the app better. Now after the 14 iOS update it’s even worse. It’s so bad that you can’t even click on the find a solution to fix any issues. When the APP works the way it’s suppose to I’ve really liked it, but there’s more times that it doesn’t work. Sadly, for me I payed the money for it already. Another issue is that it does t send the messages as a single it sends it and everyone sees the replies. If you don’t want to have everyone see the messages replies you have to turn mms off, too much work for the app. Thinking of moving to hit em up app if they don’t fix this and fix it fast.

Team mom dream. I have used this app for years to organize groups, of contacts for different teams that my kids participate with. I love the fact that a previously sent message is saved as a template that I can resend at any time months or years later. It saves me a lot of time each season when it is necessary to communicate with a brand new group of moms Who just started on the team. Adding and subtracting contacts is super easy as kids come and go from a group.

Great app!!. I have been a long time user of Groups. The app started out really great, so I purchased the ad-free version along with enhancements. It was working exceptionally well for the longest time, but then I started noticing different little “quirks” when sending group texts. If some of the recipients had iPhones they would get the text, but those with androids never got them. Recently there have been iPhone users who are no longer receiving my messages. The highest number in any group is 30 persons. But the most disappointing thing is that in spite of several attempts to get any kind of support feedback to resolve this, I have yet to hear from the developer(s). An app will always be dependent upon the amount of support its developer(s) can give, no matter how forward thinking or innovative it is. I will gladly change the rating if only I can receive the support but as of now I am sad to say this has gone from 5 stars to 2 stars. Hopefully the down slide can be reversed before I have to find another, more dependable solution.

Secretary HHH. It's a good group App, only thing you can only send messages to I think 7 people at a time, Our Motorcycle Club has over 300 members so it takes a while to send out message to everyone. They have been updating app so it's been getting better, an if You have any problems you can contact support an they get on it right away, So I give it 4 stars out of 5 only because I used to have a slide phone an it could send out all 300 + texts out with 1 push, So Mahalo an ALOHA from HONAUNAU HEADHUNTERS

Great Option Group Distribution. Why Apple does not have Group Distribution options for text messaging in 2019 is sad. This app fits the bill nicely though. Easy to use, functional, and fast. Simple interface to customize groups. Adding or subtracting names from your Group lists is a breeze. Start inside the app choose your group, type your text into the apps own messaging box, once you complete your text you can choose your messaging sending type. It will automatically push it to Apples messaging app where you can check it out and customize further if desired or just send the message. A pleasure to use. Keep up the great development on this project.

Crash! Crash! Crash!. Not only does this app not do what it promises, it wasted my time and money. I got this app to try to resolve iPhone’s absurd problems with duplicate contacts. This app alleges to have a feature that will address this. It searches for dups in your contacts, 2500ish on my phone, then has you review them and decide which to merge. You do this duplicate by duplicate so it’s not easy. You can do it fairly quickly if you’re just keeping all of them and merging rather than editing. But still, one by one takes some time. Well I started that process — you HAVE to resolve ALL the dups before you begin a merge, can’t do some and come back. So I get to the end finally, merge button ungrays and I click it “that’s a premium feature”. Ugh, I bite the bullet and pay 9.99 because the dups so irritate me. Go back and hit merge again. Lock. Freeze. Crash. All that time wasted. I went back multiple times to try again and it crashes every time it tries to identify all the dups in my contacts, doesn’t even get back to the point of going dup by dup. So unless you like wasting time and money, only to have the same problems you started with, I would not recommend this app.

It makes my job easier. I deal with a lot of people in my job. I needed an app to sort my many contacts so I know who’s calling me before I pick up. I also didn’t need to scroll through hundreds of names to find who I needed to call. This app has worked so far & I can have a lot of categories to sort my contacts - by week and destination, bus Drivers, group Leaders, Hotels, restaurants, tour Guides, etc. There are 3 things that bug me. 1. Sometimes it will not let me edit a date or delete something like a date or phone # that I’ve entered incorrectly. 2. Another thing is I might have 2 or 3 dates listed chronologically on a contact & I enter a new date & I go back into the contact & find the date has been moved to between the other dates or to the top date location throwing the chronological order off. If I re-edit it sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn’t. 3. The last thing is after I enter a new contact this box pops up: Do you want more information on this contact yes or no. My answer is always no. This is annoying & a waste of my time. I want to be able to turn that option off!

Can’t delete contacts or groups. I purchased this app, and upgraded to the premium level to unlock all the features and remove the ads, in hopes of gaining control of my obsolete contact list. With over 800 contacts that need to be removed, I found an article promoting this app. I can organize my contacts into groups, but there is no option to delete contacts. I can merge duplicates, which is a great feature, but I want the power to delete them entirely. Please fix or respond and tell me how I can get rid batches of contacts that are no longer valid. The whole reason I purchased this app.

Delighted with Groups! Groups saved my bacon from Outlook Sync corruption. I shared contacts with Microsoft Outlook to link email addresses for my convenience. Outlook sync had problems and would fail sync without alerting. Outlook’s failures quietly caused my 300+/- contacts to duplicate repeatedly and corrupt the contact information simultaneously. When I noticed the trouble, I had over 5,700 contact entries. Without Groups, I would not have been able to save my contacts and destroy the corrupted duplicates. Neither Microsoft nor Apple support could undo my damage. I spent more than a few days struggling with this problem after researching how to stop the corruption from the malfunctioning “share” feature.

Does the job but my created groups keep disappearing. Only 2 stars because this app technically works. But twice now Ive spent nearly 15 minutes each time adding/creating a custom group, adding over 100 of my customers to each, only to have it disappear the next time I start the app. Also, I purchased the “unlock all feature” thinking this would resolve the above issue the first time. It didnt. Plus, went I tapped on “unlock all features”, the app didnt even give me a chance to see more information as to what this purchase would get me. It just took my money. I felt a bit cheated. I’ll probably be looking for another group text app.

Pretty good texting service. The issued I have with this app is it's difficult to send a photo to a large group. Most of the time, even when my group messaging is off in my settings, it still sends in a group. I've also seen it not send my message to non iPhone users and only those that have an iPhone because the whole messages, while still in a group, sends only an iMessage. My goal is to send one message to a lot of people at one time without it being in a group text so when someone responds, it only comes to me and not everyone in the group.

Works great!. Would be even better if predictive text worked. Another improvement would be remembering phone number choice for individuals rather than having to re select each time.

Contact list. I find this app quite good but could be better if it connected all the contact list already existing on the phone.

Problem with text not showing in iOS13 in “Dark Mode”. Thank you to the recent reviewer who reported the problem with some text not showing when the “Dark” display setting is selected in iOS13! It has taken me almost an hour to troubleshoot this issue that was fixed immediately by changing my iPhone display setting to “Light”. This is a serious issue for which the developers should issue a notice to users, and fix it!

Sending SMS isn’t working in Groups. I have been a very satisfied user of Groups for several years now, it’s proved very useful. However today when I really need it again it just won’t allow me to send any group SMS whatsoever. The message I’m getting is ‘Hold on…Please select some messages with mobile numbers’; this is after I’ve selected the group members I want and I know they have mobile numbers (they all being in Australia). I don’t know how to contact Qbix directly (I just couldn’t find anything on your website) so hence why I’m putting this here. Help!

Useful. One of the few apps that I use consistently. Great tool for organising my 600+ contacts. Even though 500 of them are old contacts I will probably never speak to again and dating app people, haha. Love the categorising into groups and love how there’s a category for “contacts not in a category yet”. Thumbs up!

Not worth the money. After purchasing the unlock all features in app purchase, the app still asks me to purchase more icons, even though it’s included in my purchase. AND I can’t even share the in-purchase with other family members, even though the app page said it was possible to do so. Sent a request to technical support and waiting for a response. Their website has no way of contacting Qbix. It seems they just want to take your money for more purchases even though they have been already purchased. I’m not holding my breath and will look to lodge a complaint and switch to another app that actually is more honest and transparent.

Functional and flexible. Helps manage the contact of groups via a number of communication protocols - functionality missing by iOS off the shelf.

Great update. I have been using GROUPS for about 5 years now, (tried others but this is by far the best) always handy (I have many Groups and regularly move contacts from one group to another as they progress through their learning. It was a bit of a chore to do but now simple. I can easily text or email a select group with no hassles. I highly recommend this app.

Very happy with this app. I have been using Groups for 4 years and find it is a real time saver. Very happy that in the latest version there has been a fix for the need for the work-around that bugged the iOS 14 version. Worth every penny.

Bold and brassy. It has a very garish look about it which makes me wary. Managing of groups seems easy but I am still feeling my way with its capabilities. Edit: after a few months I am very pleased with its performance and versatility. The ability to personalise each message is great. The look is still very dated and somewhat simplistic but cannot fault performance.

Mike. The apps is good so I’m thankful for what it can do. However I have a lot of problems with groups that “fail to send” which is very frustrating because you don’t know who has received your text and who has not.

Useful app. This is a very useful app. A feature that would be very handy that this version currently does not have, is to be able to synchronise/share groups accross an organisation. E.g. if one user adds a contact or updates a name or contact detail it should update for everyone registered to the group.

I used to love it. I am disappointed with Groups the way they are now I used to view each contact with their picture on the left and the email and mobile icon on the right. I was able to send multiple emails or messages now comes a square saying: make sure all contacts has email or message with a word Dismiss and ok Hello! What was wrong the way was before? Now that you changed you changed for worse, not better Can you comeback the way it was? I tried to contact support at QBIX and couldn’t get through Please help!

So easy to group text. I needed an app that would make fast and easy to send group text messages. This app delivers. It recognises changes in your iPhone contacts pulls the latest contact list across for you to simply select the group and people you want. Love the multiple group option be it for work mates or family.

Prayer chain. Groups works really well for me. I run a prayer chain for people in distress for our church. Great to make contact with so many at one time. Very easy to operate. But now I find it won’t send the message. Do I have to pay now?

Groups. Great app but unfortunately it doesn’t remember the frequently used mobile numbers and usually defaults to a landline number for text messages which must be deselected and then the mobile number selected — every time! Most annoying.

Doesn't reach all your contacts. I have been using this app for a few years now and use it to reach my customers. During lockdown covid a few customers have said "I didn't get your text " which has annoyed me as I have no clue to know who has or hasn't received my valuable messages needed over lockdown. Pretty annoyed actually as now I look at the reviews I can see this has been an issue for others even when paying. I even emailed and got not response. Am looking for a better product and service now .

Upgrading is pointless. I bought the app and paid for the in app upgrade - half price offer at the time. It worked fine the first time I used the features. Since then it asks me to pay again and again. I've contacted support repeatedly with zero response beyond the automated reply saying they'll be in touch. I've tried the restore purchases function but that doesn't work. Pretty poor experience really. If you're happy with the basic features then fine. Paying for the upgrade had been pointless for me.

Groups. This app has been a godsend to me as Secretary of two organisations. With it I can communicate with most people; those with only email addresses, those with only text message addresses and, of course, those with both. It’s nice to have a final opportunity to edit messages just before sending them. I’ve also found it easy to maintain because it hooks straight into my existing address book. Secretary’s friend!! Improvements Made It Worse. I have used Groups for at least 4 years. I upgrades to the all features a couple of years ago. There were problems with sending group messages from my iPhone, they did provide a work around but more recently it was working properly. However, now the app closes down as soon as I select Compose for my text message. Tried to report the but but the app shuts down as soon as I try to enter text into the field. I hope somebody responsible for maintaining the app reads this and fixed the problem.

Does not always work. Mostly this app is great. However, sometimes the message I’ve composed just disappears, and once a group suddenly lost all its members. I would buy the paid version, but I don’t have confidence that it will be bug-free.

Sending bulk emails. Does this app when sending bulk emails show all recipients to the email everyone they was attached ? Or does it simply just make it easy to send many ppl the same email at the same time with each person not seeing any other attached?

Keeps crashing. I don't like writing negative reviews however my experience hasn't been that great. The app crashes and I've merged contacts numerous times and only some of them stay merged. There's a function to scan all your contacts for duplicates - if you start this process you can't stop half way through and complete it later on. And I had to add contacts to a group - like "family" - multiple times. Very frustrating and disappointing since I paid $14 for the app...

Solid Ap to create groups!. Very helpful to organize different groups of friends. I use it to keep friends organized for my different events through the year.

Perfect for what I want it to do.. As the secretary of a Lions club, I have used this app for several years now, communicating with a local members. I’ve used it to flawlessly, communicate with club members, advising them of important events, meeting notices, etc. The ability to personalise messages is fantastic. Each club member thinks I’m talking to them individually and thus take more notice of the messages and reply quicker.

It’s works absolutely fine unless you make any mistake.. I created my clients group and instead of hitting send text, I hit FaceTime call..!!! All my clients over 360people getting FaceTime call from my number at same time as a group conference FaceTime. And that’s doesn’t end there, it keeps calling them again and again. At night 3am, 2am, 11pm and goes on..!!! Which actually I am not calling. I rang apple, they said they cant help as it’s third party app. I don’t know how to stop this..!!! People calling me and complaining..!! Groups please solve this issue..!!

Useful for sending group messages. I find this useful when I want to send a message to a large group of people but it is frustrating that contacts are listed twice and I have to pick one of the listings. I would prefer it if all people in the group automatically were sent the message.

Great little app does what it says and makes life easier 👍 however for bulk text messaging would be great to provide a save facility for the messages sent, so we do not have to leave the app to copy then paste messages to send a different message that may have been previously sent. Handy App for iPhone users.... I like the fact that with a few simple clicks you can send an email or text to a large group of contacts. I coach 2 soccer teams and this App is awesome... :)

Works well. Fairly easy to navigate. You have to remember to go into groups and add newly made contacts to the proper category then every thing works good for me

Could be better. Unable to send mass text and have them text back solely to the sender. Also I had to purchase twice, it would not recognized my previous purchase after switching phones. This app can do so much better.

Not impressed. I paid for this app. After selecting all the duplicate contacfs to do a mass merge (process that took a while because there were a lot of duplicates which it is I got this app), it froze and did not complete the action. This app could be more intuitive.

NO "BACK" Button. For over a year now the "Back" button (located top left Menu bar) has not worked for this App, it flashes on then disappears. I have sent email messages to have it fixed but, I think they want me to pay for a monthly upper grade to be done? This App has been free for a very long time - I will now be looking into using a different App...

Update for IOS 17.1.1. Since Apple launched ios17 I have not been able to use groups. I get an error “please select some contacts with mobile numbers.” I’ve changed all my contacts that I use in this app and still not recognizing the mobile number. When will this be fixed?

Sync.. When You populating this address book with new contacts, those contacts are not getting transferred and sync with original source which in this case is the iPhone’s address book. Majority programs like outlooks, GPS, and navigation devices are asking to sync with iPhone for faster performance. I have a very large contact data and remembering to keep updating both apps is very frustrating task. This app has lot’s of very cute icons so perhaps this app is good for kids or teenagers but not for professionals. I purchased no adds subscription and still, I have adds on my contacts added, they are getting frozen on my screen and I’m not able to quickly retrieve contact information. Why this app doesn’t sync with G-Suite contacts and calendar. Perhaps this app is good only for kids use and tot for serious businesses operations?

Groups. It is a functional app however not as useful as previous versions. I find the updated version more difficult to navigate.

Groups. When losing your group by doing something wrong, you should have the option to retrieve it or giving a warning that what your about to to do will cause your group to be deleted.

It is a great app. It is great used it many time communicating in bulk with most of my fellow students in my class, either via sms or email ( some times both). I used the new sms upgrade people names in it, it would be nice to be able to do that with email. I have not scheduled anything yet ( it sounds great) update) It would nice to email or text a file to a group

Very handy organization tool. I’ve been using this for a while... so easy to group contacts - very efficient. Use it all the time. Highly recommend if you like to parse your address book into categories making it far easier to find things without scrolling through everything. I also created different archival groups so I never lose this info but only see it if I really need it.

Works Great!!!. I seriously just wanted to reset my contacts but ios does not offer mass deletion or multiple contact deletion. I used this app to just delete every contact in one go and resync from icloud with the proper contacts. To clarify my issue was nearly 5,000 contacts from another user (im an it tech) became sync’ed with my iphone when i was trying to set his new phone up and i didnt want to have to reset my own phone to remove his garbage.

Some glitches and confusion. I purchased the premium option about a year ago. Now the premium features have stopped working and the app is asking me to purchase for $10 the ability to use the premium features I already purchased. Also I started to experience some problems sending group texts. The app wouldn’t let me send larger group texts unless I removed 4 or 5 of the recipients first. Not sure if I’ll continue using, looking at other options now.

can’t merge duplicate contact — FIX BUG. everything is good but i tried few times to remove duplicates, it found it but didnt merge it. the merge button was grayed out when i selected the contact i want to merge. and also the groups will copy on its own, when i add new group, it creates another group with the same group name? the problem insists after i create 10 groups. i unlocked the full features version. that’s disappointing

Best Contacts group management on iOS. Groups make it easy to deal with ungrouped Contacts (Addressbook) entries on iOS. Smart Groups do not transfer too macOS, but that is because Apple made no provision for it, they can be replicated using the same rules in Address-book. Haven't really used the group send function, but I have accepted a volunteer position where I will really be giving it a workout (organization secretary).

Valid 10-digit numbers ?. Overall I have loved using Groups app (I upgraded from the free version so I could send messages and emails to large numbers of contacts), but all of a sudden about a year ago I started getting notifications that I couldn’t send my messages to some contacts because I didn’t have a valid 10-digit number for them. Mind you, I had no previous problems using those same contacts before. If that issue gets resolved, I would change my rating.

Works Well. Great tool to easily text a large groups of people. I paid for the upgraded version and use it to communicate with a youth sports team I coach. It’s nice that the parents do not have to download and use another app. My issue is that sometimes almost all of the contacts go away and I have to manually re-enter. It’s not limited to this but it seems to happen around software updates. It’s enough of an issue that if it continues to happen I will not use the app.

Great but.... This app was awesome when I first got it about a two or three years ago. I originally got it so that I could manage my address book. At least three copies of people names and contact. I update my phone this month and now as I try to send mass text messages which I’ve been doing for months now, the app crashes. I tried to send to 30 people at once crash. Try to send to 2 people, crash. I sent an email to the developer no response or assistance. So yes if you want to send the same text to a bunch of people this is the perfect app until it stops working!

All features don’t work. The would be great if the app worked. I liked really the free version and was happy to easily delete hundreds of outdated contacts. And I was thrilled when the app identified duplicates. But merging the duplicates didn’t work. So i downloaded on a second iPhone and I paid $10 to unlock all the features. Unfortunately merge didn’t work even in the paid version. Then I went back to the first phone and found the contacts I thought I deleted were still in the iPhone’s contacts app. They were deleted from Groups but not from the iPhone.

Easy to use, should be built-in on IOS.. I needed a way to add existing contacts to groups, or remove from a group without deleting the contact entirely, and Groups has always gotten the job done quickly. Now there are more features, and with this app I consider it worth the small price for the added convenience! I still think this app's features should be built-in on iOS.

Groups not bad. Like groups. Little difficulty adding a contact into a group and sometimes iPhone software upgrade erases just the “medical” group. Has happened twice??? 2020. Working great. Answer to prayer!. I'm able to contact different large groups easily by email. This app has been very convenient! One thing...when I do a copy and paste it has to happen between my email signature and the top line available. I once made the mistake of inserting the message below the signature. It appeared to take, but when I opened the message my details were missing. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing. Please keep it that way!! Thanks!!

Works pretty good. Does what I need it to do but seems like I can't dress up the emails. That may be me rather than the program but the messages end up looking pretty boring. Also have had names fall off the list... I don't find out unless they ask me why they're not getting emails. Having trouble with entering a name and address and it doesn't make it to the list. Just tried to add a name, went back to check and it wasn't there, then the whole system froze when I tried a second time.

Convenient but not consistent. Love that I can send a message to multiple contacts without sending a “group” message-they can reply to me without replying to everyone, and all the contacts are kept private. But it doesn’t consistently send properly- it still wants to give an “iMessage” when there are mixed contacts... and that messes everything up. I end up editing the list to try to make it work. Extra steps I shouldn’t have to take. Yes I’ve reported it, and nothing has changed.

App will not open - fixed in a timely manner. I just moved to the IPhone 11 Pro Max and my groups app would pop up and then close. Tried repeatedly and it did the same every time. I deleted it and then re downloaded and it continues to do the same. When this app was on my IPhone X I never had issues and it was extremely functional. If anyone has suggestions, please post!

Groups App. This has been the best app for staying in touch with groups. I've tried other apps with a lot of frustration in not being able to include others in other groups. With this app I do have that ability and it provides a quick and simple way of sending recurring information with a few clicks. Thank you for providing a groups app that is quick and easy to use! 😃

Useless - don’t buy it.. Some of the text is invisible until you click on it. Can’t combine contacts unless the app sees a similar phone number or name. Isn’t a very flexible app.. Updated: The more I use this app, the worse it gets. Now all of my contacts have reverted back to what they were previously... in other words, this app did nothing (even after I paid for full access). Followed the less-than-helpful suggestions page for “contacts reverting back” but it isn’t informative (it just told me to go look to see if it’s allowed). Def not worth the money. Wish I could get my money back... going to find another service.

Easy way to delete old contacts. I was looking for a convenient way to delete most of the contacts off my phone. (Attending several high schools and now a couple of years out of college, it was time.) Using this app to delete contacts was so easy! I just checked boxes next to a list of all my contacts, then said delete. Then I deleted the app. Great experience. Five stars. I have no idea what any of the other features are, but I love this one.

Groups. I really like this app - it’s especially great for corresponding with our Girl Scout Troop and groups like that. I like that a group can include emails and phone numbers. I took off one star tho because I liked it better when my groups & messaging worked straight from my contacts. I simply starts typing the group name & all contacts would come up. It’s more time consuming to have to use the separate app to create the message & then send.

No frills, just excellence.. This app does exactly what I want it to do, and it does it well. I’ve been using it for years to easily text various groups of people, and I’ve rarely had any issues at all with it. Easy to use, straightforward application, directly connected to my Contacts list - yep, I’m extremely satisfied with Groups.

Good but frustrated when multiple contact numbers are available. Been using it for several years. Thankfully the developers added back the ability to view labels for contact numbers (helpful when selecting a number for someone you have more than 1 for).

Help needs help. I like the basic app. It does what it is suppose to do. The reason my rating drops to a 4 is because I paid the extra money to have all enhancements including additional icons available. I was trying to figure out how to access them. I went to help. It just keeps sending me back to app for purchase. It would be nice if I could ask a question but no search prompt in help. I found some but still searching for the 500+. App developer—could you help me?

Contacts disappeared from iPhone Contact list. I downloaded this app because my husband and I share an iPhone account, this all of our contacts are shared. Problem is, he has 1400 business contacts. So, I wanted to separate mine. The app worked well for this, but it was slow to load and use each time I needed to look up a contact. More problematic was that any contact I added did show in Groups, but would not show in my iPhone contact list. However, if I typed it into phone messages, the contact appears. Hrmmmph! Upshot... I deleted Groups in the hope all my contacts would reappear in iPhone contacts... They have not. And yes, I have iCloud Contacts turned on, so they are not hiding there. It has been several months since I deleted this app, and New contacts I add do not show up on my phone (thought so on my husband's). This app works pretty well, but in the end it screwed up my phone. So, it is what it is.

It’s been super helpful. I own my own business and I end up texting customers quite often and I text in groups as we all have different meeting places and different things going on. This application has made my life 100% easier when it comes to communicating with my customers. I would definitely recommend this program if you text in groups often.

Great!. I have been using this app for a while and it’s has been great. It allows me to send a group information easily. I hope this app does t go away like many do because it is awesome. I have recommended it to several of my peers and will continue to do so. I wish there was a way to connect to contacts or assign contacts directly from phone instead of having to open the app itself.

Very useful. Hate going into the traditional iPhone settings to change contact information, especially when I have to group people together. Definitely a must have app if you’re in a work environment or day to day basis of meeting new people and having to add & organize them into your phone fast, and efficiently.

Used it a few times so far!. I was a little apprehensive about spending the money for opening up the full version but once I did I was surprised when I saw it is everything that I have been looking for for more than five years. In the few instances that I have used it I have only sent to small groups I have not yet sent massive texts like I hope to but at this point I am hopeful!

Hate the new forced orientation!!!!. I love this app and have used it for years! I just started to use it and apparently it’s a new version? It FORCED me to go through about 30 steps of training and orientation for using the app. Well thanks for the upgrade, but I already knew how to use it and I was about 10 seconds from just deleting the darn thing when it finally set me free! You almost lost a paying customer tonight! Please!! Don’t ever do that again!!!

Crashing since last update. Upgrading my review. Was upset at the malfunction of the previous update. I have to give credit to their customer support. Very responsive and even stated the problem. So I knew they were on it. Today they fixed it just as they said they would. Love this app. I’ve had it for many years now. It’s the best. Thanks for the fix.

Beware deleted all my contacts. Wanted to delete quite a few of old contacts. As soon as it opened it kept forcefully prompting me to do things I didn’t want to do like try to send mass text when I just wanted to delete a bunch of contacts I don’t keep up with anymore. Selected the ones I wanted gone and after ten minutes of it basically trying to make me do what IT wanted to do, I finally got to the option to delete contacts that I highlighted, which I double Checked to make sure, once I hit confirm it deleted all contracts. I’m super mad right now, hate this app. Now I get to spend my day off fixing the mistake this app made

Great for organizing contacts. This app works great for me. I have many many contacts. It helps me separate family from work as well as if I need to create a small group that I may have to refer back to. It’s easy to add and remove contacts from the groups you have set up. Also easy to pick an choose which contacts you want to select within the group you are messaging. Very happy with this app.

Make this more user friendly please!. I have never in my life had issues with an app being so difficult to use, but I’m using this anyway to do a purge of contacts and I’m having to press multiple times to hit the small dot to the left of each contact! If you don’t press it just right, it opens up the whole contact info screen and I have to go back and try to “select” it again. I’m a 31yo and if my dexterous slender fingers are having issues with this, I can’t fathom how anyone elderly or far-sighted would find this easy to use. Apple needs to add a feature that allows for contacts to be deleted more than one at a time already.

Not easy to send text. I really like this app. The only problem is getting composed text to send!!! Won’t send with just hitting send arrow. Must hit return button on section with names and then go to message and hit return again before tapping on send arrow. Also would love to be able to have name of group show when sending. Easier then to see what group I’ve sent to and for those that receive it!!

Generally ok. Generally like it and having groups for my contacts. Totally frustrated that when I try to edit an entry or put in a new entry it does not work!! It will not save the changes and I have to shut off my phone and restart it to have the contact actually appear in Groups. Please fix this ASAP. I have an Apple phone and gigs as not sure if maybe not totally compatible although says it is.z

Loses Contacts. When a contact is entered in “Groups” as only a “company” without an accompanying first/last name, the contact is moved into the grayed out ‘ # ’ list located after the end of the alphabetical list and cannot be retrieved or used within the app. The contact can be located in the iPhone contacts but he only way I have found to keep it in the “Groups” app, is to enter the company name on the ‘Last Name’ line of the entry. I have not been able to find a way to contact the developer support team to even ask if I am doing something wrong. Extremely poor app performance, support and user instructions. Sorry I spent the money to get rid of the advertising.

One Big Issue. I have enjoyed this app but it has one annoying habit. It randomly decides to not include everyone in my group text. It shows they all were sent the text but sometimes not everybody gets it and I have no way of knowing. It is difficult to find tech support to solve this problem. Otherwise it is a great app but I will probably look for another app due to that being a significant problem.

Great app but seems to have changed. The app used to send out groups texts and the replies would go out to everyone in the group. Now it does so I’ve stopped using Groups. It was the best app out there until this. Any feedback or thought would be great to help prevent this. Everyone is tired of apps where all replies come back to everyone. Remind is great but limits the text, groupme doesn’t limit text but all replies are seen by everyone. If groups could blend blend the two by having no limits and not everyone see replies...would be the best app out there.

Contacts. I’ve finally figured out how to use Groups. I had a problem adding contacts to the app. I originally had the free version and didn’t know it was limited to 10 entries. Then bought the $9 version and can now put together a list of up to 100. It’s not obvious how to take contacts from your iPhone address book and add them to the app. Some instructions would be helpful. Gene

Prayer Group. It won’t let me add a contact. It seems they want me to create a new group. I have 23 ladies on a PrayerGroup and I email Daily but I can’t add another contact. It seems wants me to make an entire new group and I don’t want to do that. How do I just add a new contact. I am 76 yrs old and in this time with the CORONAVIRUS I really need to know how to add contacts that are in my phone. Maybe I just don’t know how. I am trying to do it with my I phone 11. Nice little group contacts manager. I am retired and don’t need a high-powered and high-priced contacts manager, but do need something beyond the very basic Contacts app Apple provides. This fits my need quite well. It took me no time to define my two different family groups and my political contacts. It’s super easy to learn and very affordable. The only reason it doesn’t rate 6-stars is because it is so basic yet so handy.

Doesn’t delete multiple contacts at once. The whole reason I got this app was because it was recommended as a way to delete multiple contacts at once - but after going through the whole process of creating a group with all the contacts I wanted to get rid of, I pulled down the “select action” option only to discover the “Delete contacts” option isn’t there! The article recommending the app shows a screenshot of that option but the app itself has either gotten rid of that option OR it may be that you only get it with the “upgraded” ($$$) app 🙄🙄🙄😡😡😡

Groups. Tomas Enrique Sanchez Sanchez loves this application as an easy way to see all the names of my friends . The process is all done with my authorization and my friends remarks to save their personal information . I trust on them ,too. They trust on me, too. I recommend the application to all my friends and for those that would love to have it on his or her iPhone 5S . I will give 5 stars to this feature called Group. Big Regret. I do not write reviews, but this app warranted one! I wanted to group my contacts due to variety of work. I down loaded this app and when it accessed my contacts it wiped all but 84 of my contacts out. Sorry, that number is wrong! That was after I had to add my wife, kids and most of my family back to contacts. If only I could speak with the developers and express that some of my contact information was extremely important and others I’ve had since cell phones became hand held. This is exactly why I do not have but about 5 apps on my phone because this type of poor quality of product now days!

Poor decision making. This is the first review I’ve ever warranted leaving. It's unfortunate that Apple has made it difficult to manage groups in contacts on the phone, so your app definitely has a market. On paper, it sounds great. Unfortunately, this app seems long in the tooth and riddled with poor decisions. It is an absolutely asinine model to force your users to go through a lengthy tutorial that repeats the same steps over and over, going so far as to force you to choose contacts to text, promoting your app. This is not an exaggeration, it was well over 15 clicks until I was free to actually use your app. I know that doesn't seem like much, but in the realm of UI/UX, that's absolutely ridiculous. Even then, I was immediately shunted to upgrade to premium before I had a chance to even use it. Bad form. It’s a shame, because the app is great in concept, terrible in execution. I feel writing this review is rather futile, as it doesn't seem you respond to any of your users.

Like it but 100 person limit kills.... Really like this app, but the fact that a group maxes out at 100 members is killing me. (And it doesn’t warn you that it has a 100 member limit; it just doesn’t actually send out the emails, even though it appears to. I’ve messaged the developers and haven’t heard any movement on this glitch.) If this can’t be fixed, then just warn people ahead of time so they can make subgroups of 90 or so to be on the safe side!

Great App.... Groups is an easy-to-use app. Fast setup, quick, customizable way to organize and retrieve names for group emails and totally compatible with iPhone's built in contact list. I have been looking for an application where I can keep track of members of an organization, and Groups meets that need. I use it for several weekly/monthly email “ mailings - FAST, CLEAN!

Great App!. I teach four classes of adult learners. Each semester I make a Group for each class. The app makes my communication so much easier. It has never let me down. PS I use an Apple iPhone. I have used this app (Groups) for two semesters with multiple courses. Every SMS message to students was successfully delivered to a host of students. Students appreciate that my communication is delivered to cell phones. This a terrific app! D.S.
