Super convenient to whip out and show off your models. This app is AWESOME! You get a lot of functionality with a simplified UI. Often times I find myself in a situation where I want to show someone a model that I'm working on but don't have my computer. Being able to pull up the app, hand someone my phone, and let them play around with the model to see different aspects of it is super useful. Thank you Fusion 360 App team!

Works but Lacking. This app is great for what it is, however because it lacks almost all the features of the desktop app, I find myself having to carry around both my iPad and MacBook every day. If Autodesk could find a way to implement the features of the full application, maybe making use of the Apple Pencil or iPadOS’s new “mouse support”, this app would truly be worth a 5 star rating. That said, nothing is inherently wrong with this application and if you want what it says it does, you won’t be disappointed.

An awesome extension. I love using the fusion app to quickly show coworkers, or friends and family designs I’ve been coming up with. It’s always difficult trying to explain complex geometry without any visuals, especially a custom design no one may have ever seen before. However I would love the ability to show and hide sectional analysis, or other inspection tools. If the app had that feature, I’d be 100% satisfied. All around, it’s a fantastic way to look at designs in a pinch.

Great app, could use a few little touch ups. Overall this is an amazing app for hobbiest use. I can imagine anyone actually creating designs in it but for showing people you're design when you don't have you computer it is perfect. I've had a few issues with it crashing due to big files but that's to be expected running on a phone. Great work as always autodesk 👍

3*** only until….. Fusion is a great cad cam software. I love it. I hate that they make minor changes that throw everything off. I wish the app allowed to make solid models like smart cam does instead of just look at models I’ve made. I have a lot of downtime and don’t have he luxury of a laptop every 10 minutes. Also, I hate that you’re changing to a preferred software. I don’t want to buy another apple laptop just to use your product. I would rather just pay 10k for master cam and have that forever.

What good is it?. After downloading, I register, I open and there is like 3 buttons! Hmmm, clicking around shows me a few prebuilt projects. I see a whole bunch of people saying it’s fantastic, I can’t get it to work when it won’t allow me to start... no where to start from, just look at all the pretty pictures from a few prebuilt projects. It’s act like A360 - just view the cad files.

Game changer for my small shop.. I switched to Fusion 360 from another CAD / CAM popular with small shops. No words can describe the leap in technology this represented. My design to machine time was reduced dramatically. My work flow and overall shop through put skyrocketed. Fusion 360 is responsible for allowing my little operation to survive the economic storms of the last year and today. Thank you to everyone involved with making fusion what it is…Awesome!

This done all I need from a Cad program and more.. I have used Cad and Specialized Parametric Design Software for more than 30 years. Fusion 360 has a steep learning curve but the time you invest to learn to understand the features it pay back your time every time you do a project. You will find less expensive software but you wont find a better value to leverage your design time.

Perfect for navigating and presenting models. This is a perfect tool for presenting models to friends or colleagues. You can pan, orbit, zoom, hide components, etc. Beware, larger files take quite some time to load (sometimes 5 minutes for a power wheelchair I’m working on). My only desire for fusion 360 on IOS and Mac, is that the project and file management wasn’t so glitchy. I’ve tried creating new folders for new projects, and they tend to disappear. This makes organization fairly difficult.

Awesome companion to the software. This is awesome, seriously I love that I can see all my active models on my free fusion account, it really makes it fun to show off my projects! The only thing that I wish they could improve on the app is the “keep me signed in” feature doesn’t work at all, every single time I use the app, even if it’s multiple times a day, it makes me sign in again. But the ability to look at the models and the functionality of the app is incredible!

Excellent work in progress. I think if i was paying for Fusion 360 I would have rated it a 3 star program against other programs like Solidworks or catia, but being free to Hobbyists it is the absolute best package available for this market. It's the first to include CAM, simulation, and sheet metal features all built in at no extra charge, which is amazing! The other reason Im giving it 5 stars is they are actively developing it, and they are willing to listen to user feedback to improve the program. There are certainly some areas where it needs some improvement to really be competitive in a professional setting, but I think its getting there. The mobile app is also a nice touch. Very useful to be able to show my designs to others to bounce ideas off them.

Couldn’t use it. I saw that this was offered for hobbyists but that is just not true. Right off the bat I had to create an account. Fine, no problem. I sign in then, I have to create a team. Why? I downloaded this seeing other reviews, that I will mark as not helpful BTW, because I thought I can create this account then start using it. Bring in some artwork and see about making a 3D render of it, but no such simplicity in this app. Immediately requested account deletion. Not for me

Great CAD/CAM Software. I’ve been a Fusion360 subscriber for over 5 years now and it’s been a great asset to my company’s growth/collaboration. When I first joined AutoDesk Fusion360, I was coming from Solidworks 2015. Being able to design/develop and login from anywhere without the need for a hard drive has helped me tremendously. Great CAD/CAM Software!

Really great, good as free, ideas for more function. This is really awesome as a way to view my files, show them to other people, and share them somewhat. Fusion 360 really is the most cost-effective 3-D modeling software on the market, and the fact they give it to hobbyists and start ups for free it’s amazing. Very good job that’s very good of them. They’re making the world a better place. I think that it would be really cool if this app enabled me to sketch from my phone, and even do some shape modeling from my phone. I think if it was possible to directly download and email and store 3-D files through the phone, that would be neat. But maybe they don’t do it for security reasons?

Get with the times, Autodesk!. ‘Collaboration’ = look, and talk about your models. No editing. No saving. Just a viewer. And still 5 stars!?! I don’t get it one bit. After almost six YEARS… nothing more than looking at models generated elsewhere. That’s it. It’s disappointing, really, with the addition of the M1/M2 chips, and examples of what could-be, from apps like Shapr3D, Autodesk seriously needs to really step up their game. While I appreciate the power of Fusion 360 on my laptop/desktop, no iPad editing support is a serious drawback in 2023. For those working on the run, it’s a necessity now days. I’m shocked to say it, but this next years licensing might be going to Shapr3D.

Accessible and easy to use CAD and CAM. Autodesk offers this product at a free (hobbyist) level that is as functional as the real thing! Only in team management and expensive cloud computing or advanced features (which are an add on on any case) do you find limitations. Product quality has occasional issues but the product as a whole is solid and I found solutions or work arounds on their forums. Free Autodesk academy and affordable Coursera classes provide ample training to take you from tinkercad to autocad.

Its easy to use, and it’s useful but…. The mobile app is really easy to use, can’t model in it I don’t think, but its really useful to use to preview any of your 3d models. Only problem is that I have to keep reentering my email and password to use it, and I don’t know how to fix that. It’s possible it’s due to the fact I use the education license because I use fusion 360 using my school email and primarily for school projects. So it’s possible that someone who uses a personal account wont have that problem.

A fusion viewer which does not display everything. This app is nothing more than a viewer and has not been updated in the last 2 years. What is missing with this app is the link animations and actually showing all the objects when 1 or more was hidden during the last save on the workstation. Anyway, ot seems that Autocad does not want to deal with the app store so we cannot expect an update any time soon, which is a shame as I really like to have the possibility to display my designs on a tablet.

An Essential Evolving Tool. If you're a maker, industrial designer or mechanical engineer - this software needs to be in your toolkit. While not as bulletproof as some other legacy CAD packages, the constantly growing combination of tools, such as simulation, CAM and rendering, provides incredible value to the professional maker. Providing this to the world as a free-to-use system for hobbyists and academics is a true gift that the good people behind Autodesk should feel proud of.

Very useful for viewing renders and models. This program is the best thing that has happen for viewing your work on the go. Easy to use and for showing customers or team members is the way to go. Menus are easy to use and anything that was worked on your desktop/laptop is right there. Hope to have more options in the future for instant renders for customers to see the hi res look in 3D.

It seems ok. It seems like a good app. Coming from TinkerCAD and wanting to level up my designs, I looked into Fusion 360. When I opened Fusion and started messing around to figure it out, I noticed I can’t edit existing designs, and create new ones. So I came back here to the App Store, and read the description, and was disappointed when I learned that the most you can do on iPad is view designs, but not create them. I hope that that is changed in the future. I might have to look into other CAD software that works with iPad.

Can't open STL files -- extremely unstable. Tried to add an STL file and it said that the "upload failed" without saying a reason why -- I didn't even want to upload the file, just view it locally. When I hit the X button in the Uploads tab to try to clear the failed upload, the app crashed entirely. When I reopened the app I was logged out despite having selected the button to stay logged in while signing in. It's really incredible that a company with the resources of Autodesk could produce an app this broken when single person teams are able to create STL viewers for iOS that actually work. Really pathetic stuff.

Intuitive program. Been a solid works guy all my life, but loving Fusion now more than any other program. Very user friendly and has the capabilities to do anything 3D with the program. Only things I would love to see in the future is some isolation capabilities and the Technical drawings to improve. Other than that it's an amazing program. Check it out!

Unrivaled CAD/CAM. I have used a handful of CAM software programs over the past two decades on a daily basis. Fusion 360 has room to grow but that is one of the things that makes it superior to other softwares, they are actively taking customer feedback and implementing improvements that are actually useful. Hands down the price is unbeatable for a powerful CAD/CAM software. There is no other program out there that has such a broad array of tools that all perform well. CAD, CAM, mechanical drawings, PCB design, analysis, generative design, 3D printing integration, cloud collaboration- Fusion 360 is all of this and so much more. Another great thing about Fusion is the vast amount of training available through Autodesk. It’s as if they actually want people to learn how to use this software. I rarely leave product reviews but this one is well deserved.

Zero stars. Can’t load layers?!?. This app is idiotic. If you save your F360 desktop project with any of the layers turned off, then those layers are completely inaccessible from the mobile app. They don’t show in the layer tree, so there’s no way to turn them on or off. It’s as if they don’t exist at all. So unless you always remember to save your desktop projects with all of the layers turned on, you will never be able to see the full project in this mobile app. I can’t imagine how dumb someone has to be to design the app with such a glaring lapse in essential functionality.

So useful. I finally made myself learn 3D modeling when I turned 50 and chose Fusion 360. It’s been fantastic. As a long time creator/amateur engineer, being able to model what I was going to build and then show people on my phone has been awesome. 4 years later, now owning multiple cnc mills and lathes, I can’t imagine life without Fusion! I truly love it!

Components with joints don’t work well. - If you try and view something that has any components connected by joints often your design looks as if it has been blown up. Bodies everywhere in random locations. - even after weeks designs still don’t get previews and can’t be opened. Sharing them often fixes this but really If you try and open a design it needs to generate the preview then and there. - So only really good for the simplest of designs

Great app, would love AR. As a hobbyist, the app is really convenient to review designs when not on my computer, or show my girlfriend furniture ideas etc. Syncing quickly to your account is nice and easy. I'd use the app 10x more though and it'd be on another level if they could implement some augmented reality aspects. Even if just allowing you to manually scale items over the camera view, it'd be an amazing tool to visualize models in rooms.

Dad/Inventor. I have been using CAD tools for 30 years. Currently I am teaching my kids and developing multi-rotor quads for racing. We have used fusion 360 for every level of the process, Cad for deigns, CAM for G-code to cut parts on our machine, STL for resin based and filament based 3D parts on our printers and FEA to optimize part weight and drawings for patent filings. This tool is the best tool I have ever used and have had a wonderful time teaching it to my seven year old son and fourteen year old son. I am an inventor and would recommend this tool to anyone interested in bringing ideas to life. Thank you Autodesk, Jim Busby

OMG, so smooth and handy to show off things!. I just discovered this is a thing! I have a huge model that brings my PC to its knees to work on, but navigating and showing it off to friends, family, and FB is such a seemless joy in this app! Now, what would be cool is to select a part and “share as GLTF 2.0 (GLB) to FB” so it comes over as a rotatable object. But seriously, this app is now used regularly at night on my phone as I think of changes I might do the next day to my designs.

Grate app to view files BUT. Love the ability to show projects but it would be nice to be able to have other functions like selecting components to hide and view other components ( if this exist then my apologies I just don’t know how to do this , maybe a video tutorial on how to use the app?)

Greatest CAD software. I rarely write reviews. However, I love Fusion 360 a lot, and it’s my #1 CAD software. I have been using the software/application for more than three years now and I continue to like it even more. Thank you for continuing making this software elegant and efficient. More importantly, giving a chance to students to use it as a free trial. Keep up the great work.

Replaced Solidworks. This software really changed my business for the better. We were able to drop our Solidworks maintenance contract and convert entirely to Fusion. Now I have 2 additional engineers on staff. I have 10 seats total. We are using it from the conception phase through the machining phase, and even into the marketing phase with the powerful rendering capabilities. The CAM is powerful. The FEA is adequate for our use. The surfacing works well. I love it.

It’s only a VIEWER. I can’t believe they have this on the App Store with the same name as the full app. This is nothing more than Fusion 360 VIEWER for iPad. It’s disappointing. Our kids have been itching at getting access to it and finally got the student accounts approved. Download and they can’t even work with the models they’ve created in TinkerCAD. Our high school just switched from Dell (horrible devices) to iPad Airs with M1 chip and I would have expected them to handle as well if not better than with TinkerCAD given AutoDesk has Fusion 360 for Macs on M1 already. Disappointed our STEM kids are super frustrated especially considering the painfully consulates way AutoDesk requires student verification and how they collect so much Personally Identifying Information about minors to give them licenses.

Best company ever.. I want to say thank you to Autodesk for making Fusion 360 and Eagle free for personal use. I’ve learned so much by simply having access to it and I’ve developed very useful and very fun skills over the past 5 years. We now use both services for the business I work at by my recommendation. I’ve brought you business as a result. Again, thank you for letting me have a personal account for my own use. I will never use or recommend Solidworks to anyone. Please continue to give free access for personal use so young students interested in 3D modeling and 3D printing can actually have a pathway to try it. Had Fusion been around when I was younger I would have gotten into it much sooner. The big paywall from the alternatives at the time prevented me from furthering my education.

This does NOT let you 3D model. It is only a viewer. I don’t know why everyone is giving review of Fusion 360 desktop app here. This app DOES NOT let you do 3D modeling like real Fusion 360. If this app was titled “Fusion 360 Viewer” I would give 4 stars, but as “Fusion 360”, I would give only one star because it has no modeling features and it is just misleading. Plus, what is the difference between this app and A360? To me they are exactly the same. For Fusion 360 desktop app, I would give five stars, and I am waiting for a day when this mobile app will truly be Fusion 360 and let you model on iPad.

Excellent but broken in 2.7.1. I’ve been using this for quite a while and it’s always been outstanding. But version 2.7.1 broke the measure tool, which is pretty important in the mobile version. For me, it’s the most important use of the mobile version. No idea how to submit a bug report. I’ve left multiple questions on their community site, but no response. Hoping they fix it in the next version so I can give it a 5 star review!

Awesome!. I am new to CAD/CAM but discovering and learning Fusion 360 on all my devices has made the learning and doing very easy - comparatively! There is a lot to learn because of the many rich "doing" environments that are included BUT I can't imagine a better environment and a better customer-service oriented company to ride with on this wonderful journey! I'm 74 years old and this journey, I feel, is very enriching and fun!

Love Fusion. Love that Fusion is free for my personal DIY stuff. Computer software is great. The iPhone preview app to load up my projects while working in the shop is very useful. Only thing keeping me back from giving a 5 star rating is that I would love love love to be able to use Build/design with fusion on my iPad with my Apple Pencil. Maybe one day - it’s a big ask I know.

Nice. The PC software is my first jump into 3D modeling for CNC purposes, and lack of skill aside, it has been a great piece of software. The companion app is great for goofing around with designs on the go. Anytime I get an idea for a tweak or whatever, it's right there thanks to the cloud storage - no messing around with transferring files or anything. As a newbie to it all and an educator, I'm making nowhere near the cap for profits, so it is free to use. You won't find a better chunk of software for under several hundred, and it probably isn't coming with the ability to work from your phone on the go...

Fantastic package. I've been using Fusion 360 to work on some startup ideas after a hiatus from Pro/E, Solidworks for several years. I've been very impressed with F360, and the mobile viewer app is a fantastic bonus. Autodesk is constantly working to improve the product, and the support out there both from the company and from users is way ahead of other competitive products I trialed. I am very impressed with F360, and plan to be using it for a long time.

Best ever, so much fun!!!. I am very new to the CAD area. I am studying for my associates in CAD. This app is so much fun for me to design and show people what I have done! I also have started designing things with friends and it is nice that they can view and make comments on the drawings so I can make changes! Highly recommend can see it working amazingly in a business setting for engineers drafters and machinists to communicate better!

Great!. I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth the effort.... I got an estimate last week for a basic version of Catina. I was really considering it for a moment until the fusion360 engineers did a teleconference with me and I saw that for about $300/year, I can get a better software package then I'd get from Desault for $16k + 3k yearly maintenance... fusion is great and the price is very reasonable. I love Autodesk!

Completely useless and a disappointment. There is literally nothing you can do worth value in this app that you can’t do in a browser. Rather it gains I’m sure some access to your device and then try’s to turn all your clients proprietary designs into what appears to be a social media setting. I got the app because I thought I could do actual work on the go but then realized this isn’t fusion 360 at all and is a false advertisement. If you even can modify a drawing it is not intuitive and the UI is a cheap attempt to mimic a social media platform which has NO useable place in cad/cam which is what fusion360 is supposed to be about. App deleted and if any of my clients designs were posted publicly expect a lawsuit.

So glad this exists. As someone who has been through more than half the certifications for Solidworks in college and has used 3 other CAD/CAM suites, Fusion 360 doesn't have everything I would like. That being said using it for personal projects, I couldn't recommend it more. Keeping all of my projects up to date across 4 computers that I use throughout the week has saved me more times than I can count and being able to show friends/ family what I am working on without dragging out the laptop is a godsend.

Old dog, new tricks. After using numerous CAD packages through my like, I stumbled onto Fusion. After a very short learning startup, I find myself able to design, program and make just about anything I can image. From 3d printing to 4 axis machining, Fusion has made my ideas real. Because the package is easy to learn but yet very capable, I am training my grandson through Titans of CNC, to become a machinist. At 13, he has been able to design, program and machine complicated parts without my help! To Autodesk, thank you for the great product and your generous policies for student and their teachers

Good for what it is but expect more.... This software works great for viewing designs on the go. If thats what you’re looking for, you have a 5 star product, though cloud integration could be flushed out more. However, from the industry leader, I expect more. There are other developers who are able to bring a nearly full featured 3D CAD to the iPad. Many people are wanting to transition away from their computers and over to their iPad Pro. I truly wish Fusion360 would go all in on the iPad and bring a full or even semi full featured F360 so those that desire it don’t have to bounce and import between different systems.

Rating on behalf of the computer version. Whoever made this is an absolute idiot. Some of the decisions made when creating the mechanics of this app are beyond understanding. Everything that I do comes up with an error. It is NOT supposed to be at all difficult for to simply move an object. It keeps switching the controls at random and messing up what I’m working on. I hate all of the stupid yellow and purple dots that it leaves everywhere, I hate that it randomly makes a copy of what I’m doing when I make new component. Most of all, I hate the person/people who created it for making my engineering class a living nightmare.

A lot of interactive menu issues. First of all, there is no way to delete projects which needs to be addressed. Secondly, there is no way to rename projects or folders. There is also no way to delete folders either. I’m sure there are more issues, so this is just the top of the iceberg. I don't believe a 1 star is justified, however attention to this matter is needed. If developers see this, please fix all of these issues and make the interface more usable. Besides that, the app does what it is intended to do decently, view auto CADs.

Very helpful. I acquired fusion 360 for hobbyist a little over a year ago, and is a really great program, with just enough of a learning curve. This app took it to the next level, allowing me to access my files vie mobile. Overall a really great app, as well as the parent company AutoDesk.

Fusion 360. Nice to be able to share my projects over the network to all my PC's. Like the interface too, still have lots to learn though...

Good but basic. The ability to view designs on iOS devices is good however the ability to created and edit as well would be great!

Fails to open every single project. Error message is “ Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later. (FVLF-2048)”

Screaming for iPad Pro. Great app

Fusion 360. Absolutely great for sharing your designs with friends and clients on the go. Some people commented on the limited number of features - hey, it’s a viewer, who wants to edit designs on an iPhone...if you want to do that, schlepp your other devices with you!

Incredible tool. It’s amazingly useful and free for a hobbyist. Does it get any better than that?

Fantastic product. The capabilities of Fusion 360 continue to amaze me. Thank you Fusion 360 Team, for a wonderful product. You are truly clever people!

Its cool. Its cool

Amazing Technology for Free. I'm sure anyway will tell you that Fusion360 is fantastic software, and it's free to most people! No brainer for home machinists and even for the simpler machine shops.

Great to share want to edit. A well made program good to share your creations and take then to the workshop. But the ability to design on a tablet (even if it had to be a pro would be amazing

Could be so much more. With previous access to the web version which I could run on my iPad it’s clear F360 could be doing so much more with the horsepower available. Why can’t we get full CAD on the iPad instead of really basic viewing and markup? The app is ok for what it is but give us a real tool!

Very useful design tool. I'm new to fusion360, but with the number of tutorial examples available it has been a smooth learning curve

Can’t see 2D sketch. I could not find a way to check my 2D drawing.

Easy to use and understand for a beginner. I find this easy to understand especially after watching a few YouTube videos. I was able to draw up my built in wardrobes for my kids to give my wife an idea of what it would look like.

Ideal for small workshops. If you have a CNC Router, VMC, CNC Lathe, water jet cutter, plasma cutter or 3D printer then you NEED Fusion360. Amazing piece of software. Go from idea to production in one place. Online sharing is really great. I didn’t consider how hand it would be. After look for good CAD/CAM software that wasn’t thousands or tens of thousand of dollars for years, Fusion360 is the perfect combination of price/features and usability.

Fairly useless. Basic viewer only Can’t see sketches / dimensions Can’t hide body parts to see internals Can’t visualise object in different colours/ materials

Repeatedly requires login. … despite selecting “stay logged in”. Login email & password split over two screens which makes it awkward to use a password manager. In fact the email screen is not even recognised by password managers as a login anyway.

Wouldn’t know what it’s like. I wouldn’t know what it’s like to use this iPad version of fusion360 because after trying unsuccessfully over an extended period of time to create an account and getting this message “oops, something went wrong. please try again later”, I have given up and deleted it from my iPad, not worth the trouble and I am over wasting MY precious time on buggy apps.

The app makers it so handy.. Having the app to show your ideas to anyone any time is great.

Mobile app is a disappointment. It hasn’t even been updated for the iPhone X screen size! It’s 2022! I would love to see AR integration, but this is conspicuous absent.

Fantastic for my hobby projects. I have made roof rail covers. And much more. Getting better in using Fusion 360 every use.

Excellent. Awesome app couldn’t live without it

Can’t login. Can’t seem to login at all, just a lag and a white screen

Fusion 360. F360 bring a comprehensive suite of CAD tools into the home or DIY domain. Supported by a wealth of video tutorials it is easy to solve issues and road blocks quickly. The community support has a positive “I can” attitude and a welcome feel.

Excellent. Very handy, easy to learn tool.

Sharing and markup - ok, no editing. Why?. Although new to your product I would have to say I am a little disappointed. Why have such a great product in the desktop version and such a disappointment when trying to be creative on an iPad pro? Unfortunately this app is not maintained regularly so Autodesk may not be interested in supporting people. It’s not too much to expect to be able to make basic edits or changes. There are even inconsistencies in the markup function like when adding arrow annotations and text at the same time - these changes do not always update when posting on the iPad Pro. These errors are easy to reproduce so I don’t understand why they have not been fixed. Not able to recommend this product on the iPad Pro at this time, September 2021

No editing or modelling on iPad… what’s even the point of this app?. Despite having very limited functionality the app is BROKEN even when using the only useful part of the app — Previewing the files… doesn’t even do that properly. When attempting to view my files from PC, I am only able to see the sketch/model when zooming and repositioning active camera… But the question still remains: WHY CAN’T I SKETCH AND MODEL ON MY BRAND NEW iPAD PRO?! USELESS!!!!!!!!!! Don’t bother with this, the competitors have marginally better offerings - sadly

Full version for iPad Pro. Although this product is great for viewing my models on the go and making notes for when I return to the office, but when away from office, as must people these days their iPad is at their right hand all the time whether it’s checking diary entries or putting together quotes, the range from autodesk would real excell if it was on a Mobil plat form.

Quite nice for mobile use. It is a good idea to have your designs on moble apps of you need to check something on the go.it works well even without a subscription but keeps signing me out.I would like to have some photogrammetry of basic 3d modeling. Overall really clean and smooth.

Com on. I have trouble getting to my account 🙁🙁🙁

The future looks very good. Love the ability to pull out the phone and show different designs

Great for showing clients or team members. I create models on my Mac at home, and fusion is an extremely powerful piece of software! But when I’m out and about I’ll usually take my IPad as it’s quick and easy, and then use the fusion app in order to demonstrate models of show them off, however I would really appreciate a more advanced app allowing you to actually work on the models. Even if the app was paid on top of the subscription I would still purchase, reliant whether or not it would be good of course.

Great for what it is, but.......... This is great for showing people the 3D image. The but is because I really want you guys to release an iPad design app. Shapr3D tries hard but it just doesn’t have that Autodesk feel to it.

Cloud support is really handy. I love Fusion 360 but being able to share models with project partners online is far more useful than you might think. Being able to have my projects accessible on my iPhone has also come in handy for measuring drawings live, and checking tolerances.

Fix your endless IOS login system. It’s been a while, we have to enter our username, password, Duo code every time we open this braindead app. Please fix it, either “remember me” or skip the daily login. And maybe fire your App IT guys because nobody notice it for half year.

Basic and limited. Fusion on iPad allows you to view and share models over the cloud and look at basic model properties and dimensions. I’d like to see more useful features such as simulating movements and the ability to create and edit models.

Great, easy and intuitive. A newcomer to 3d cad design, I have found fusion 360 to be a perfect introduction.

Handy tool. I've used fusion on the iPad to view models and communicate design iterations with clients, make mark-ups to capture changes...essential in the design phase of a project...

Limited Support on IPad Pro. The app is quite handy for showing peers models or looking at when on the go or when the computer isn’t with you. The product would improve very significantly if the IPad Pros could run the full desktop version, especially due to the power of the iPads and the new mouse support. This would finally allow me to run fully on the iPad instead of both Mac and iPad

Excellent program. Does everything you need to do and more. Large learning curve

Great for Showing Work. It’d absolutely grand if it could allow schematic building. But for showing PCBs (what I’m doing), it’s working great.

Not a usable application. You spend 10 minutes setting up a team and project only to find out you can only upload things to it and see existing projects. This is just a viewer and note taker, nothing else.

Autodesk F 360. its usful that i can link my acunt to my phone and show my desines but its not as well organised, and the new users introdused to the program could get lost in their files quickley

Best CAD program going. Works on a Mac! Superb CAD program with the ability to create anything you can think of.

Basic. Yeah, it’s a cad viewer... It’s next to useless and it doesn’t work particularly well, not worth mentioning. I wish to one day see a full, mobile, fusion 360 modeling platform, much like onshape’s.

Great. Super useful to review and take notes when away from the pc... I use it all the time!

IOS16. Lots of bug with IOS16

Cannot design on Ipad. Everyone seems to use this software but it’s unfortunately not available on Ipad, you can open designs that you made in the past but not create new ones

Doesn’t do anything. Trying to open a file just results in a white screen with a spinner.

Great viewer!. If I could make one suggestion for the IOS app, it would be that the « Remember me » check box would work and user would stay logged in between sessions. Also, It would be nice to be able to set the default Fusion Team. Other Thant that, it works great and I use it often! Keep up the good work! - Blaise

View only. The title should state viewer, it would have saved me download data & time.

Junk. Installed tells you to start a team on the web. No instructions, guide, just nothing. Don’t waste your time it’s a dud.

Nice. Perfect to show your project to your friend/family without carrying a cumputer

White screens IOS 17.1. When you open a file on ios17.1 with iPad pro. The app just shows white screens. When you put your finger on the screen it shows but as soon as you release your fingers it turns white again. Please release software that works or don't release it at all. Poor experience

Can view can’t edit.. Was hoping for this app to be a full CAD experience on the iPad Pro, but it sadly isn’t. It’s a shame.

Best app for the best software. I am loving Fusion 360 for work and projects, but the flexibility and mobility that the app offers me and my clients is exactly what the industry needs. The world is fast paced and being able to review, mark up, and collaborate in real time anywhere in the world is invaluable to me.

We need full version!. My ipad pro is powerful enough for a full version , not just a viewer. We uses ipad do almost everything like photo editing, video editing instead of photo viewing and video viewing. Please provide a full version instead of a viewer!

Amazing. This program is absolutely amazing he will do everything you need for CNC machining and producing the programs making drawings this is equivalent to master cam and many other Cam programs that cost 30 and $40,000 and anybody that's complaining about it obviously doesn't understand how to use it there are many many posts on YouTube on how to do anything in the program

Cannot do anything with the app. Downloaded the app to create my own designs but couldn’t do anything with it. No instructions except for text to ask my personal info and tell me that this tool is awesome. I’ll keep searching for other apps.

Great App!. Good for showing visuals to suppliers especially when they ask what are the materials made of and to give them an idea how to assemble the a component or final product. Also great to show to existing retailers distributing our company product. "This is the next product we are introducing." Generally helps to get their feedback immediately. Editing would be nice. However, we do everything else on laptop or desktop. Easy to use and navigate. Thank you.

Super merci. Très bien je suis entièrement satisfait du produit

not actually free, you need a paid Autodesk subscription. Yes the app is free to download, but not free to use. You need a paid Autodesk subscription to use this app. Very annoying since it doesn’t mention this in the description, thus leading to a lot of wasted time.

Will not work without updating. When I finally need it with no wifi, doesn't work at all.

Amazing program. I use fusion 360 mainly for designing custom parts and I love how compared to inventor pro it syncs to the cloud and I am access at work on all my devices without having to use flash drives. Would recommend to anyone looking for a CAD program.

Fantastic viewing. Really great to be able to explore and review on the go.

Unclear that this is barebones. This program only lets you view and markup existing files, it doesn’t let you design (unlike the full F360 on computer). What a waste of the iPad’s capabilities and the opportunity presented by a touch interface/Apple pencil.

The best Design Platform for professionals. I love this application because it allows you to expand your imagination and have tools and add-one’s for any scenarios or ideas. Very intuitive and well integrated and the best part you may get a free version of your thing is just a hoppy or experimenting ideas. Excellent, I love it.

Too limited. Would love to have an editor but this only allows viewing.

Perfect. Easy use, even offline, fast transfert speed. I have nothing to say...

Unbelievably Powerfull. Have designed workshop cabinets, laundry room cabinets, electronic enclosures with motion and imported step files. Designed and built my own CNC router. Used Fusion 360 to generate router files. Have built successfully all these projects And they are the first time I have built these ever. Tons of youtube learning videos, for everything. Learning is free... People think I am a genius, but just a Fusion 360 user.

Please optimize for iPhone X. Useful but not optimized for iPhone X

Fusion 360 Login. I find Fusion 360 very useful but having to constantly login every time I need to look at the app is very tiresome. Great product, poor login characteristics.

Impossible to simply download and use. First you have to login and create an account. Then you have to go on your pc anyways and create a team. I don’t know what’s after that because I wanted a simple app to view STL and this was way too much effort.

Doesn’t work as a viewer. This app is a viewer only, which is fine, except that also doesn’t work. Only displays a blank white screen, and only shows the model when moving the screen for a split second. Pretty much only have this to show others what I have been working on, but it can’t even do that basic function.

Great companion for desktop app.. My only complaint is that I can't edit basic things, like the visibility of bodies if they where saved as hidden in the desktop app. But other than that it's fantastic.

Just another great feature. Many features, so explore and find the ones that assist. What an amazing tool.

Best ever. Bast ever

360. Very helpful and great for inventing

Misleading, viewer only. I used to have 360 on my computer and absolutely love the software. Sadly being disable, I can’t spent long hours on a desktop, but the iPad Pro is a life saver for me. So I with limited income and productivity window on a computer I had to drop my subscription and use Sharpr3D. As time goes buy I might not switch back to Fusion if they don’t hurry and have a functional 360 for the iPad.

Géniale!. Enfin je peux voir mais plans sur mon cellulaire ou iPad.

Slow, unreliable, unpredictable. Ive used fusion on desktop mac and iPhone. Its terrible and if you need something to depend pn to cad or cam I don’t recommend this software whatsoever. If your just messing around then totally. But if your serious then use anything non related to autodesk.

M1 Mac. Finding it very glitchy with the new M1 Mac Mini. The refresh is not consistent and working with dual screens, the working screen quite often needs to be minimized to reset screen issues and then maximize again. I’m not sure they are testing this product under all possible conditions especially when the Mac mini is such a prevalent machine.

Not a working app. Don’t waste your time downloading this app. It’s only a viewer. For having such a high yearly subscription price, a working app is expected.

Waste of time!!!!. Waste of precious time!!

Great Software. I retired last year and decided to learn 3D CAD it has been a huge learning curve but it is a great retirement project.

Amateur d’impression 3D. C’est un logiciel très facile à utiliser. Je peux dessiner des pièces assez complexe que je peux les imprimés. Ce logiciel est vraiment parfait pour un amateur comme moi, mais aussi pour un professionnel.

Still early. Started trying it to reloft a point cloud and it seems to be working

Top top. C est un logiciel magnifique!

Awesome. I just started using this product not to long ago. Took me a bit to get used to it compared to Sketchup but the fact that you can take the sketches and move them between devices so easily is amazing!

Good when it works. In robotics we use fusion, and it works great on the desktop version. The app is a good way of showing off files to people on the team, when it works. That’s the major key to the app. When it works, it is great at showing the part/robot design, but when it doesn’t load the preview, it’s irritating. Overall, 7/10

Needs dark mode, hard to isolate components. The app is very bright white, and has not been updated to take advantage of Apples UI, dark mode. There's a bug where all of my models are white on white backgrounds, and only rotating them makes them appear briefly, making the app useless. It's not possible to view multiple parts at one time by selecting and deselecting from the design list. Its frustratingly slow at loading models.

Confusion 360 zero stars. I spent half an hour trying to create an account. Slow slow opening windows and finally I get signed in and it tells me to first create a team on the web and then come back to start using app. What!! How about first place your pinky finger on the g key in the center of your keyboard and do a hand stand with all your weight balanced on your pinky, give us 10 quick ones and then come back and use the app🧐

Great Companion App. Fusion 360 is a great companion app to the desktop version of Fusion. I can easily see my models and drawings on the go. The model view is easy to use, and the ability to pan, rotate, and zoom using the touch screen is slick.

Enjoy the mobile app as a supplement to the pc app!. Nice to use the mobile app to share ideas with others. Lots of suggestions for things to add, but other reviewers have already touched on this. This is great to have for reviewing designs when the main pc app isn’t available.

Love this program. Very useful, I work on both sides the design and manufacturing side and this software brings the best of both worlds, haven’t find anything I can’t do with this.

Needs an AR feature. This app is very useful for my team to communicate our work with our directors. We and this app really need an Augmented Reality feature to help visualize our designs in the real world on the fly.

Fix issues for 5*. Two major issues I have an issue with. You can’t program in the fusion app. Only on a pc. There are other apps that allow you to draw and dimension features like Onshape. Also the blue print creator is super clunky and not so user friendly like the rest of fusion. Once it’s fixed I’ll give it 5*

Great for presenting but the mobile version cannot edit work. It is great for presenting created work, like showing to your boss on your iPad. But you still have to do all the actual editing on the computer. If only they bring in the editing to mobile version!

Fusion 360 is the best. Autodesk products are best for work, home & crossfunctional areas. Autodesk constantly updates & adds features. Best CAD CAM program I have ever used. I am integrating it into my business fleet processes also. Thanks Autodesk!

Intuitive Controls. I believe of all the CAD programs out there Fusion 360 has the easiest to learn interface and design flow. Still takes time and effort to get to a reasonable level of proficiency.

Keep up the good work.. It would be great if there were some editing tools available on the iPad. Being able to review designs is nice, but the ability to make minor refinements and save back to the cloud would make the iPad app worth having.

Best tool for hobbyists. I've been using the program for a few months now and it has met or exceeded all expectations. This app is a brilliant way to let me show my models to anyone I'm working with during a project.

Incredible Privilege!!. To have legal access to such incredible software is truly a privilege! It is the most powerful software I've ever used for anything. Thank you for making it available to a real enthusiast. I hope I can learn to do it justice.

AMAZING. This is really an amazing Cad/Cam package! It's easy to use and free if you're business makes less than $100,000 a year. It's better than Autocad, and SolidWorks if you ask me. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Exactly what I expected and needed. Very easy to use and navigate. Have had zero glitches or problems. The load time for everything is faster than I would have guessed. I'm able to easily pan around and zoom in or out on all my projects.

Awesome for the hobbiest.. The way fusion works on the computer is absolutely great but it’s a little bit challenging for me sometimes to work with the app on my phone.

Build AR into the app!. It would be really useful if there was augmented reality built into the app so we could make parts or assemblies that can be viewed in place without having to export the model and bring into another app each time.

Great software. Great software!!!! The ability to collaborate over the internet, and even do mark up on an iPhone or iPad on the go make this the best CAM software I've ever had the pleasure of using. It does more than I'm sure I'll ever need it too, but it's nice to know it's there if I do need it to.

Superb Software. I am an amateur learning this CAD software as I go along. All I can really say is that I feel privileged to be able to use this powerful program. There are so many learning tools out there I can only say I live this program

Great software. I've been a CNC Machinist for 18 years, and have had my hands in CAD/CAM for the last 5. I recently purchased my own CNC mill for my home shop/business, and Fusion 360 has proven to be a perfect fit. Easy to learn and use. I am also a member of a local makerspace and the 3D printer guys use Fusion with the same satisfaction. Thank you, Autodesk!

Just a viewer. This app is just a viewer for files from the actual software on a regular computer. I thought at first that I could create 3D models on my iPad Pro but was sadly mistaken. This app is very helpful for viewing objects you have made elsewhere but that’s it.

Indispensable. I am using perhaps 5% of what this program can do and couldn't get my product into the prototype phase without it. It is taking me all the way through to production.

Amazing product 🤙. Im absolutely in love with everything Autodesk. Fusion 360 makes it simple to take your work with you everywhere. The only thing I could say is fine details in the thousandths of an inch don’t show very well and it’s hard to zoom in with control. But other than that. Perfect

Great to view on the go, but could be better. It’s awesome to be able to pull up models on my phone, but the app seems a little buggy. Especially that I have to sign in pretty much every time I launch the app.

Great Program. This program has been phenomenal for modeling and something I use almost every day. Having the mobile app makes it super easy and simple to show models on the go.

Login broken. The app is great, but absolutely pained by the broken authentication system. Every time you use the app you have to log in and it’s not integrated with the Apple password system, so it’s slow and painful. Please, please, please fix this!

Great for anybody getting into cad. I've been using Fusion 360 for designing parts for 3d printing and it works amazingly well. Easy to get started and a ton of depth to get into as you learn more. Having the mobile app to share design ideas has been great!

Powerful and Affordable. I’d consider myself seasoned 3D cad user with experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Rhino, and SketchUp. Fusion has advanced so much in the past few years it’s actually beating SolidWorks in capabilities, ease of use and without question affordability.

Amazing!!!. Excellent product! Perfect for viewing files on the go!! Only downside is that it takes a sec to load and some parts don’t render in bad WiFi, but others than that it does everything as expected. This is an amazing app and one that should be used more

Amazing software. Sure the ios app is great for when your out and want to show someone a 3d virtual model of a product, but it's the computer application that is the jaw dropping workstation for modeling, CNC, simulations, rendering, and 3d printer exports

Super handy for sharing and reviewing. I like it for sharing screen shots of parts with my customers so they can see the progress and review it when working on new designs

I don’t even want to try anything else.. I’ve spent the last couple years teaching myself how to use this CAD software and I will never use anything else. I love it.

Needs upgraded. For the price of the subscriptions, creating and editing files should be available on at least iPads and chrome books as well.

Limited capabilities. No way to view tangent edges or hidden lines? No isometric views? Doesn’t display a canvas that was added to a model? For example, an image of an iPhone home screen applied to the face of a modeled iPhone. The thumbnail shows it but not when viewing the model. App often hangs when switching between files. A handy viewer but not enough features.

Solid-works who?. Being a user of Apple products, I was ecstatic when I learned that fusion would be Mac compatible! The user interface is really well done. Simple and powerful. Their free online tutorials couldn't be more helpful... the all in one CAD/CAM is great and I couldn't be more happy!

Love it. I took AUTO CAD in high school and was ok at it. I started using Fusion 360 because a friend told me about it. Now I’m saving money designing things first and building faster and more precise. This by far is the best choice in design programs.

Useless Viewer. It is ridiculously painful to log into this app. Turn on all auto completion, for the entire flow. INCLUDING iCloud verification codes. Having to jump back and forth to copy and paste passwords and verification codes is insane. Update: After that complete travesty of a UX, you then get into a completely useless read-only viewer that, again, you are asking for money to use.

Simple, efficient, effective CAM. Having used cam software since 2013 and CAD since the 90’s. I have to say if you only use one software to design, collaborate, and create. Here you go. Happy user since 2019

Excellent tool!. Being new to Education this year, Fusion 360 is a Lifesaver! Friendly, easy to use, and the items that can be created then printed on one of our 4 3d printers is amazing! I will be getting into the CNC aspect of it this year as well. Looking forward to it. Thank You!

Good for viewing files on the go. The app is good, you don’t really want to 3D model on the go so this works fine for what you need. I wish the measuring feature was more like the desktop version because it can be tricky to actually get precise measurements but it’ll do.

Everyone in education. Each of you that are involved in STEM should participate and use the apps that provide seamless integration with Fusion 360. I have not found and easier or my robust solutions as Fusion 360 for the desktop and mobile usability.

Excellent for Hobby 3D Printing. 10/10 would recommend! Auto desk has always put out excellent products. Love the app! I can look at all of my ongoing projects!

some problems. I really hope that the official can see my reply. I don't know why. After I joined my friend's team, I still can't show the files shared by the team

Worthless for anything but viewing. Perhaps the app has changed from years ago where there are positive reviews, but here in 2021 you can’t edit anything, only view. Which makes the app pretty much useless. Maybe rename it to “Fusion 360 Viewer” so it’s not deceptive, but anyone (like me) who hoped to actually be able to _use_ it will be very disappointed.

Deleted. Basically you cannot start from scratch on the phone. Or they don’t make it clear at all how to do so. Please think about why people would want to use a mobile app instead of pc/mac or whatever versions you can think of, as it’s expected to be handy. Think about autosketch. :/ So don’t bother to download this app if you for just one time use, or new just like me. Normally I would let it slide, but it feels like being misled by this app and its rating.

Simple and powerful? Yes…. Yes really.. I have used various CAD/CAM software in industry, the latest being CATIA. I can’t believe how user friendly and powerful this software is. Highly recommended!

Just what I needed. Moved from Solidworks to Fusion, couldn't have been happier. Takes some time to get used to, but the mobile aspect is what we've needed. Would recommend.

Nearly Unusable. Like most of Fusion360 this is just half baked. It’s a rare moment when I can actually open an assembly or part without endlessly getting the error that a preview hasn’t been loaded yet. Doesn’t even matter if previously opened the assembly or part previously. Fusion could actually be top tier if they would just take 3 seconds to get out of their own way.

Please wait! Autodesk Fusion app comments loading...
