Premium. Could use improvements, I got it set up for shortcuts using Siri. It does work sometimes. Sometimes it will say the app is having issue but will also still perform the task.

Terrible App. needs to connect each time it is used. Takes way too long to connect Pretty useless if you want to use to turn on TV especially through Alexa. App has to connect each time it is opened rather than being connected when phone is on home WiFi. Waste of money.

Audio review. This app is good the only thing that I can recommend is: would be better if I can use my earphone when I am using the app because sometimes I watch tv when my wife is sleeping.

iWatch Option Doesn’t Work. Paid $5.99 for the app just to find out it doesn’t work. Downloaded the app hopefully I can use my new iWatch to control the Apple TV with the help of this app and it doesn’t work at all. Don’t buy this app. Doesn’t work either with the watch or the Apple TV. Completely useless.

Remote not control feature that it promised. The remote app was to have direct access to smart features then after purchasing it directs you to buy another level of functions even though you purchase the app. Bate and switch.... hmmm Some business practices are just disguised as theft.

Best App. This is the best app I have found to run my television. Some minor features I’m still figuring out but all the basics work fine.

Hard Pass. It won't save my TV. I have to re-pair my device every single time I close the app. It also is so overloaded with ads that I can't complete any action without first closing out of an ad. It's free so sure show me ads, but not to the point that it severely impairs using the app. There are many similar apps out there that actually save your device and is usable even with ads. Pass on this one and find one of those.

Best Remote App. (This is a review for the 2.9 version, which is much improved and no bugs in the app on my end) I downloaded this app when I kept losing the remote that came with my LG TV, this is so convenient. Not only am I able to turn off the tv from my phone, I was also able to turn it on from my phone— many other remote apps on the App Store only turns the tv on, which is pointless, so I really like this app. I purchased the premium package to access other features in the app such as having my Apple Watch as a remote as well, however the Apple Watch app kept crashing the second I open it on my watch and couldn’t use my watch as a remote at all so I emailed the company who made the app about this issue (I wasn’t expecting much from customer service since online companies barely meet customers’ needs nowadays) then 2 days later I received a response from them and said they made an update to fix the issue and should be working now then I updated and everything was working! That was smooth, and I really appreciate the customer service, and the app works great on my phone and watch. 👌🏽 5 stars!

Premium purchase. Folks having issue with ads after purchase, when “Restore” shows up at the bottom of any screen, PRESS and HOLD it and “Purchased” will show up.

REFUND PLEASE!!!. This app is a joke. It doesn’t work at all. I paid for the premium because it had the apps I wanted. That was pointless because it doesn’t even detect the devices I have (fire stick and Apple TV) and when it does and I choose it, it crashes. In theory, it would have been great. In reality it’s a flop. Please issue a refund ASAP. Thank you.

Way too many ads. Having ads show for every 5 click is annoying. As a first time customer i was not able to use the app for 5 minutes, every 5th click shows a full screen ad, and the close ad appears after 5 seconds. I feel like the lesser ads would have let me use the app more and later would have purchased ad free version. This experience was like “you go to buy ad free” else u wont be able to use.

Terrible use of ads, watch app doesn’t work. The ads in this app are the worst I have every seen in any app. Something as simple as changing volume will take you out of the app to an ad making it useless. The watch app also closes as soon as you open it.

Terrible! Don’t waste your money! Worked ok for a while, then errors galore!. This app worked for what I needed, but after 2-3 weeks it started erroring out, needing to be paired over and over and the haptics going off for no reason. I reset the app and tv, no luck… always goes back to the pairing error. I purchased a year subscription after it worked well initially, now it’s unusable! Rip-off!

DONT BUY. I bought an LG tv with no remote and when I started using this app (free version) it would connect sometimes to my TV. Ever since I BOUGHT the $5 app it NEVER connects to my TV. I have tried everything and it will not work. I hate this app and buying a remote is only $5 more and will save so much time and effort.

Love having to pay more for something I already had. The new update is dumb. It looks pretty, but having to pay extra to be able to just click on Disney+ is BS. Why should I have to shell out extra money for features I already had preupdate. Nope, not doing it. I’ll go the long way before playing into your games..disappointing.

Bought for one reason. But it doesn’t work. I paid full price for the upgrade so I could use it on my watch. But it doesn’t work. App works great on my iPhone. But on a current fully updated watch, it immediately crashes. You need to either fix this or stop saying it works on the watch. I should have read reviews from over a year ago saying it didn’t work.

Serious problems. Edit:. Oh no! This app is having serious trouble again. The Apple Watch feature is not connecting for me, even after an uninstall/reinstall process. I just got a response on April 17th to an email I sent on February 3rd, and the app hasn't been updated in months. Please get the app going right and I'll give back some stars, but it takes more effort!

Keyboard. I downloaded the app so I wouldn’t have to type one letter at a time with my tv remote and after buying the app the keyboard doesn’t even work !!! Completely dissatisfied with the app because I only downloaded it for this reason and everything else was pretty much an added perk. Do not download until bug is fixed! Just wasted 5 dollars on it not to work. 🤬🤬🤬

Got ripped off!!. I’ve never written a review before, but this app is sooooo terrible that I needed to. I control most of my devices (fire TVs, Xbox’s, etc.) with my phone and tablet as I hate trying to locate the remotes that my kids and wife loose. I got this app and saw that with the premium you can get rid of the irritating adds that keep popping up while you try to use the app. It was the worst 5 dollars I’ve ever spent. 98% of the time it doesn’t recognize that I have premium so it keeps popping up adds, it won’t let me turn my tv on (even though it says it’s supported), I can’t use the track pad and all of the other features that you’re suppose to be able to do with the premium package. Do not waste your 5 dollars for the premium. Their is virtually no difference.

Doesn’t really work (for me). I wanted to get this app because it looked like it worked and I can never find the normal remote cause I keep on loosing it, and when I tried to use the volume buttons, they wouldn’t work, same with the power button. I think this is because I don’t have cable set up but also the app connected to my Xbox (which is what I wanted it to connect to) and I pointed the top/front of my iPad at the tv and the Xbox and it still wouldn’t work! Every time I would try to use the power button it would say that my tv doesn’t have the “wake up” feature, so I don’t know what that means cause I’ve never had a wake up feature before mentioned on my tv. So this app doesn’t really work for me, and I personally think that it’s because I don’t have cable, but it connected to my Xbox which is connected to my tv instead of cable.

The new update is Absolutely horrible. This update was absolutely the worst ever and ruin the whole thing doesn’t work right and is more complicated to figure out and I absolutely can’t stand it so I’m not gonna get this anymore I’ll find a better one worked good and tell you did the update

Apple Watch series 3 or 5 does not work. This app works ok through phone. I purchased the advanced version to be able to use watch as well but every time I start watch app it crashes. I am using a series 5 Apple Watch. Then after many failed attempts I tried my wife’s Apple Watch and it still would not work. So if anything stay with the free version don’t waste money on paid version.

Was better before they updated it. Paid for this app and had had full use of all of the features of it! They decided to update it and take away features I had already paid for! And now they want charge additional amount to unlock those same features that I had already paid for. Please don’t support businesses that do these kinds of things. It’s very crooked and in my opinion, larceny.

Almost Great. Love the app, but it has a few serious bugs. The directional pad select button doesn’t work, the watch app doesn’t open, the play/pause buttons don’t work on most WebOS apps, you can’t rearrange apps on the app screen, and there is no play/pause Siri shortcut available. For a $10 app, there should be ZERO bugs. The developers don’t seem active either, which is a massive shame. This is the only app I’ve found that actually lets you turn on the TV from the app, so my options are limited. As far as polish, UI, and general functionality, there are far better apps out there. Save your money until they fix the serious problems.

Don’t Bother Purchasing. If all you want to do is turn your TV off from your phone, this app is great. If you want to anything else this app is certainly not worth downloading. The “OK” button will not select anything which makes the app almost totally useless. There is also a 5 dollar charge to get rid of the annoying pop up ads which the app sometimes forgets that you’ve purchased so they show up anyways.

Love this app…for the most part. I really love this app because I’m physically disabled, so I can’t really pick up and use a regular TV remote. The app makes me a lot more independent. With that being said, I do have a few requests/problems. First, when I go to turn my TV on, half of the time it doesn’t work which is why I still have my Apple TV which turns on my TV when I turn it on. Second, with the last update, to change the volume you have to tap the button over and over again instead of just holding it. And finally, you can’t use the app with your device in the horizontal position. Over all, I really love this app, but the first problem that I talked about is what’s holding me back from giving it 4 or 5 stars.

Really Love This App. Thank you so much for creating this app I paid for the version, where I can keep it forever, and I been founding myself using the app a lot; even when my remote is dead smack in front of me LOL.

Does nothing. Literally does nothing on Apple Watch. Every single thing you click says “Please upgrade to premium”. And I mean every single little thing that could possibly be clicked. Even AFTER upgrading to premium and power cycling both devices, the Apple Watch app just tells you to upgrade to premium after every single button press. Works acceptably on phone, it’s utterly useless on Apple Watch.

Updated app now I have to pay more to use it. I originally bought the app to get rid of ads now the app updated and I have to pay to use the trackpad and even just to select apps on the TV. All it is good for is changing the input. I do like the new feature allowing me to turn the tv on but not worth paying the additional amount just to have a useable app. Switching apps now

Horrible. I should’ve read the reviews before downloading this horrible app there is way too many ads and it only lets me go side to side or up and down it will not let me turn up the volume or go to a different channel or click on a video the app had too many ads it hurt my head

Very limited. I downloaded this app to work with my Apple Watch, but Apple Watch controls only work with the premium version which you have to pay for. It sure would be nice to at least have some limited Apple Watch control with the free version, but no. Totally useless in that regard.

This app didn’t worked on Apple Watch 5.0. When I was installed this app on my iPhone, I connected it to my TV without any problem and It worked well on my iPhone (my iPhone model is : 7plus and my iOS : 13.3) But this app didn't work on my apple watch at all (My watch is series 5 , and my watch OS : 6.1.1) When I touch on this app icon on the Apple Watch, nothing happens and the program doesn't open at all

Do not buy!. I bought this remote and paid the full price for it. I cannot control my tv from my watch so that was money wasted! The watch ap does NOT work!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Now every time I try to use my phone it has a connection request so I have to have the actual tv remote to confirm I’m allowed to use my phone..... EVERYTIME I push any button .... so what is the actual point if I have to use the actual remote anyway. Can I please give this a negative 5 stars?

Full screen ads after every 3rd button press?. Really frustrating to try and evaluate, I get the same full screen ad for a roofing business every 2-3 button presses. Try to bump the volume up a bit and you have to dismiss the ad. But it does work, and even powers off the TV which LG's app doesn’t. Looks pretty polished but the response from the TV lags by around 0.3 seconds...

Don’t waste your time, bandwidth or money!. I downloaded this app accidentally as I thought it was the official LG Remote app. Also purchased the ad free version before I realized it was not LG’s app. I suppose it would have been fine if the app worked but I can’t even perform basic functions like access my tv settings with this app. Do yourself a favor and get the free LG app if you have an LG tv.

Ads. I love the app, it helps a lot when i loose my remote but the amount of ads there are after every button i press is very annoying.

Stopped working after the update. I never had a problem with the app till I updated it , now only the volume works, can’t open up my apps, willing to change the star rate after problem has been fixed, please and thank you .

Crashes on Apple Watch. Every time I attempt to load the app on my Apple Watch it crashes and the support ticket I submitted two days ago has been ignored.

Premium Upgrade not working. Bought the premium upgrade and it doesn't register it. I still get the request to purchase the upgrade trying to use touch pad, or launch apps or anything else. I also get ads anyway. Emailed developer and he said uninstall and reinstall, done that twice to no avail. Not sure what the problem it, please assist.

Not ready for Prime Time. I can’t use the app without it barfing up full screen ads every five or six clicks. This is not in any way useful or even reasonable. I spent nearly $9000 on this 75" OLED TV, and I must now pay $5 for an upgrade — which might continue to interrupt the customer with unhelpful, disruptive, unwanted adds. No. Thanks.

Love the iOS App, but watchOS doesn’t load,.... Downloaded the iOS and found it very responsive in comparison to the LG official app. I purchased the premium upgrade to make sure all the features I might need were available and the watchOS doesn’t load. Acts like it’s opening and returns me to the list of watch apps. Disappointing l, especially since I just spent $10 for the premium version. 🤦‍♂️

iOS app works, Apple Watch app not so much. So it’s my fault for not reading the reviews before I went and purchased the premium pack with the expectation that I would be able to use the Apple Watch version. Unfortunately the Apple Watch version does not launch so I spent money on a broken product...

Just don’t. If you are looking to use this on your Apple Watch forget about it. This app does not work. It works fine on my iPhone but it does not open on my Apple Watch. I actually did something I’ve never done, I requested and received a refund for this app.

Terrible. There are free applications that control your TV through your iPad or iPhone, I specifically purchased this app because it said it would work on my watch… It does not. I emailed their customer support asking if the application would be updated, and despite a response that they had received my question, nothing has been done. Now the app is telling me I need to purchase the premium version… Which I already did when I first downloaded the app, I had to restore my purchases, but when selecting haptic feedback for my watch, it keeps returning me to a page saying I need to purchase the premium version. An absolute headache with absolutely no benefit, I am going back to the free LG app to control my TV from my phone.

Disconnected several times on apple watch. This is a great app but it disconnects from tv every times , please fix it to have consistent connection to the tv , i will buy it when it’s bugs fix.

Select button doesn’t work. They just updated it to make it inoperable. Before, the select/center button on the directional pad didn’t work. But the trackpad feature worked pretty alright, so that was the work around. Post-update, the trackpad is a paid feature, as is completely mundane buttons. Example, the Netflix button is now a paid feature. Thanks. 10/10 improvements on the update. This is sarcasm.

Siri Shortcuts. Siri Shorcuts are a game changer! I was really disappointed when LG announced that it wouldn’t be releasing an update to bring HomeKit support to older OLED TVs. Being able to tell Siri to “play Xbox” and have the TV turn on and switch to the correct port—thanks to this app—is amazing!

If you bought this, ask Apple for a refund. I paid $13 for this only for the developer to switch to a subscription model a year later and revoke my premium license. Will report this and send as many emails as possible until the problem is solved. This is stealing!

Bad App!. Had to buy pro version to get access to the features that I wanted but found the pro version to be mostly broken. OK button doesn’t work on Apple Watch most of the time ( does nothing or taps on the wrong item). There is no trackpad on watch app. On iPhone the keyboard comes up for searches but does nothing when you tap on the keys. Not sure how this buggy app got approved for production use.

Won’t connect. Was using this app beautifully until you decided to “update it” now it won’t connect. Takes 10 times longer to do anything. Netflix is hard to get to. You now want me to pay to upgrade what was working perfectly. Way to pry money out of people. I’ll be going elsewhere and watching closely for your company name do I do not use your products ever again. Never had an issue like this with any other app company. Complete rip off.

A waste of space. Don't bother with this app. The watch app doesn't do a thing. The phone app connects, but doesn't do anything once connected. Take your app down off the store and rebuild it.

Apple Watch app. I have purchased the full version of TV remote for apple. It works well from my iPhone X but does not open on my Apple Watch UE. The icon is on the screen but in selecting it nothing opens. Is there something I need to do to get this to work on my watch. Thanks

Only the volume works.. I can open settings, and change the volume. That is all. Once settings are opened none of the directional buttons work to allow me to change to say HDMI from tv or vice versa. Poor app.

Avoid this garbage! Removes functionality and makes them paid only. Do not upgrade your old app!. Common features are now locked by a pay-wall after updating the all where they were once working before. Obnoxious and full of spammy ads. Avoid this.

Remote doesn’t work on Netflix. The app is actually better than the stock LG App in some ways because it can turn the TV on and off and connects automatically, but it is not worth the $$ I paid because it does not work with certain key apps on my LG OLED C8, mainly it does not work with Netflix which is crucial. Please update!!!

NEW UPDATE MAKES YOU PAY. I purchased this app months ago and was using it for its track pad feature on my smart tv. It allowed me to use the trackpad to quickly select a title and a keyboard to easily search for movies/shows I wanted to watch. THE NEW UPDATE makes all of these features PREMIUM so this remote is now useless!! Very frustrated because I already paid for premium with the old version to use these features. Now it’s useless to me unless I PAY AGAIN! There are bugs with the most basic features now, can’t use the middle button as enter and the contact us email comes back undeliverable. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Download LG TV PLUS. It free and allows

App upgrade doesn't work. Don't upgrade. It charges you but doesn't get rid of ads and clicking restore purchase says you've already successfully purchased this but nothing changes. I hard reset my phone and still it persists.

Not user friendly. How to complicated things I just want to be able to use my ipad keyboard to search. LG cannot give us an apps that works without paying. Useless I will work my apple tv and my Ipad instead

I purchased the premium version, after some time it started to disconnect , it asks me to pair every time I turn on my TV and even when Tv is on and connected if not used for a while it will disconnect and will ask to pair again . Very glitchy/ improving. Power off/on button is a hit and miss,I paid for this app thinking it was good, it worked for a bit but not solid, i wish the developer puts some time into it, it has a great potential... Update Feb. 11 2018... I’m changing my rating to give this app a 4 stars, not to say it’s now perfect but simply to acknowledge the hard work of the developers and the support team in their very quick responses, they are listening and work very fast to fix issues, I know there are lots of variation that plays a role, but as I said before, this app has a great potential, keep up the good works.

Feel like i got ripped off. I paid 20 bucks for the full premium app in order to get watch functionality, but the watch app does not work. I cant even switch hdmi inputs. Very disappointed

Don’t do it if you want to use with Watch. It’s crashing during opening and even when it wasn’t before needed lots of bug fixes.

Doesn’t recognize premium. Wanted to try this to use the watch app but it doesn’t even recognize the premium license. Don’t waste your money, looks like the developers are nowhere around.

Everything is great...except. you can’t click “OK” on anything. makes pretty much everything else useless. to be clear, the center, OK, Select button on the remote tab does absolutely nothing.

Update fixes a few things but breaks others.... Still waiting to be impressed by this app.

Lg remote. This remote doesn’t work and I paid the premium service to hook it up. Apparently it only works on newer lg tv’s

Just bought. I saw it was compatible with my Apple Watch. Figured it would be awesome so I wouldn’t have to track down the remote. Upgraded to premium to use it and the “OK” or enter button does not do anything. I can’t select a title or an app.
