Still very entertaining in 2020!. I’ve owned this game for well over 4 years now and still find myself playing it here and there. Story is absolutely worth your time with its humor and randomness. Only thing I would love is this app to get an update to look better on our latest OS devices, that would be wonderful!

It was fun... It was a fun and enjoyable game, it’s was a breath of fresh air from all those crappy and repetitive hyper games, plus it didn’t seem to try and milk me for money, for ones I was actually enjoying a game until you run out of time for the first time. It’s costs about two dollars to respawn at a checkpoint. And to think I found a game that I thought wasn’t about the money. It just goes to show developers care more about making money than developing a good game. I deleted the game and will no longer play games by this developer. If you enjoyed it though I’m glad, it was fun.

Pretty fun but... It’s honestly a pretty fun game, I do wish that there was a bit more control of the cars speed and things like that, I understand once you level up your abilities change such as speed and turbo with traction control but prior to that You’re just winging it. Its fun but not my cup of tea. Definitely needs better steering and maybe more control over the cars.

You CANNOT make any mistakes. This game spells trouble for the one who makes constant mistakes, but forgiving to the one who's willing to repent for their mistakes. Never I've seen a game as frustrating as this one--it's 100% memorization and trying to keep things stable to avoid car crashes. Only by careful driving and choosing the best route without crashing will you be able to clear this game. It's frustrating, but worth the short amount of cash for the premium, as you're the one who sets the difficulty, not the game.

Fun yet Grueling. Unlike what you’re set up to expect, you do not control all vehicles simultaneously, but each vehicle goes after the other under a diminishing time. Given the far reaching goals of the game (an early mistake in managing time might ruin a run, or at least make it less forgiving) it’s very fun yet fairly short, even if it takes you several days to get through it. Surprisingly it’s fun enough to look over the unforgiving aspects of the game, such as having you start from the beginning for fully closing the app. The story itself is deep enough for you to need pen and paper to track, but it won’t stop you from playing and enjoying the game if you look over a few details.

HILARIOUS. I've giggled far too often for me not to write a review. This game is bundles and bundles and bundles of fun. There's different ways to play: properly (trying to not crash into anything), crazily! (making as many wild turns and swerves as you can) and others. There are even hilarious little character details. Download and enjoy. You will not regret it!

Absolutely Awesome Fun! A Full 5 stars. That's game is ridiculously fun. Great for non-gamers and gamers alike. It's the perfect stress release and quick play game. It's addictive. Once you start getting the strategy of the game it gets even better. This is one of those Games, that you can't understand why it's fun by just looking at it or even by explanation. Ya just gotta play this game.

Creative and FUN, good music too. Does not Commute is unlike most types of games out there. You drive a number of vehicles across a city map in sequence with every previous vehicle you navigated replayed simultaneously. You have a set amount of time to complete all vehicle routes, with the opportunity to collect bonus time along the way. You must avoid crashing into your previous vehicles, and can choose to use a turbo, traction control or armor upgrade. The game does get quite challenging quickly. The graphics are smooth, the vignettes for the different drivers humorous and the music is perfect adventure driving music

Perfection!. The game has a very good feeling and design, with a great color palette. The controls are simple and easy to use. The game at first seems extremely easy to complete, until realizing you have to swerve past all the cars you previously drove, resulting in some pretty hilarious moments. This can also be combined with various power ups that will make it easier or harder for you later on. The game provides a short 1-4 sentences of backstory and dialogue for the drivers, which results in some pretty crazy, hilarious and (spoiler: dark) storytelling, intentional or not. For example, in the first town one line is “Postwoman Betty is very efficient, so she always has time to stop and see Mr. Beck. A second line is, “Mrs. Beck is on her way home. She forgot her keycard to the office. How Clumsy!” And then the final line is “The ambulance is on its way to the Beck’s house. There’s been an accident.” Regardless if this was made intentional, it really made my day. Overall a perfect mix of all necessities for a good game, with unique mechanics.

Awesome, but short.... First off I love how this game is very challenging yet fun. Also I didn't buy the premium at all and I beat it in two days. I wish the story was a bit longer because like I said it took me two days to beat. I have no idea how I did it but I'm in the top 200 for the final score at 212...also I only failed once! There are lots of hidden extra time disks which I think is what got me to a final score of 212. Also in the second city area at the very top right corner there's a secret area that gives you 40 extra seconds! I have to warn you the last level is very hard! I had 300 or so going in but ended up losing 90 seconds even after grabbing all the extra time disks! If you pay attention to the story it makes it more fun, but the last part is very confusing. Anyway now that I've beaten the game there's still lots to do like discovering the hidden secrets and improving your score! Good luck!

Entertaining Chaos.. This game is fun and chaotic all in one. You have to get all drivers to their destinations before time runs out. The catch is that every vehicle you drive repeats when you move on to the next one. This means that you can potentially crash your vehicle into a vehicle you were steering a few turns ago, unaware at the time that you'd be getting in your own way. This creates a sort of strategy in guiding the vehicles without crossing paths with one another. The result? May I redirect you to the title of this review.

Amazing EVERYTHING. I don't even know where to begin. I didn't get premium, so this game was amazing even without spending money. If you pay attention to all the character stories, it's an extremely interesting storyline. The concept of a driving game that builds on itself is really unique and fun. I beat the whole thing in a few hours because I couldn't put it down. I love this!!!

It's good...but not great.. This is certainly the most innovative path-puzzler I've ever seen. Essentially, you run the same maze several times as different people, BUT each run will affect the next. Your mistakes become cumulative, and that's outstanding. Sadly, it's the wonky, hyper-sensitive controls that bring frustration, not the game design. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all. I'm just saying I liked their earlier work more. This one just didn't resonate with me.

60 seconds really 😐😞😟😠. I love the game but they need too give us more time to pass a level !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even get passed the first level without running out of time. A review of Apple lists. Why does this game and others like it that haven’t been updated in years make it to your most popular lists? The fact that this one hasn’t been updated in 3 years makes it hard to play on the newer IOS. Also on your list are games that have less then 100 reviews. How are those the most popular? This was a good game that like many games and apps have been neglected by the developers. Apple should have a policy that apps that aren’t updated at least yearly be put in an inactive App category.

Awesome. Ok first off I don't know if I'm spelling awesome right and second, I always play this game I started when It came out I was just scrolling through apps and I thought it looked really cool better than any other kids game I don't even know if it's a kids game but I competed it in 45 minutes and I just kept playing and playing and playing and playing and so on but I loved it and still do. I even play it now when I'm bored

So much fun. High replay value.. This game is good looking, plays smoothly, and is just a bit different every time you play it. I only wish it was longer. 7 levels, and about 2 hours will see you through the whole game as it is now, but the way it ended sounded like there might be additional levels released later. I hope so.

Love the challenge. I got this game less than a week ago, and I'm loving it. I did pay for the full version so I could save my progress(after 5 rounds of failing on the second level I decided it was worth the couple dollars to be able to continue). I love the simplicity of the idea behind the challenge, yet it's complex enough to make you think and really work through the levels. I just hit level 4 and so far I am not disappointed. It does get frustrating at times(I will quit the game and come back to it a few hours later), but I like that it's not so easy you can just fly through the levels. Overall, bravo on making a quality game that stands out from so many that are just average.

One of the funniest games I've ever played. Imagine a top-down driving game with a variation on Groundhog Day. You're given a destination and an open-ended neighborhood to drive through, but every subsequent character you control in a set of levels has to drive around your previous cars as you drove them. If you drove like a maniac, you'll have to navigate around that until you move to the next set of levels. This is made much more fun from how crazy the story is, where a marriage disintegrating over an unhealthy Yorkshire Terrier obsession is probably the least outlandish thing that happens, and the cavalcade of increasingly ridiculous plots is glorious to behold. You're on a timer until the end of the game, which even persists between level sets, and you can earn time boosts by exploring. You will need them. You can also use optional modifiers for how your car performs (each car is different), and you can eventually practice without running the clock down. You can't crash into other cars in practice mode, which has benefits and drawbacks if you forget where a car is coming from in a real run. You can buy certain privileges to make finishing the game easier, but you don't have to. If you like this model and you also like pinball, I highly recommend PinOut by the same developers.

Very Creative!. Love this game. Lots of fun, made me giggle constantly as I crashed every car. As for those complaining about spending money...heaven forbid you actually PAY for a game. Do you expect people to spend hours a day working on game dev for free!?! You're lucky you get to "try" it without paying a dime. Previously people had to pay from the start without knowing what they were even buying. So please stop complaining. The game is great and worth paying a few bucks for!

Fun and challenging. This has you reap the rewards or the failure of your previous decisions. You control each vehicle, all which handle differently from the next, to it's destination and the path you take is set to repeat as you begin controlling your next vehicle. You either help of hinder you next vehicles progress toward it's goal. The mundane to the very strange stories behind each driver you control make for a fun story that goes along with the game play. Overall it's a fun puzzle/strategy game.

Fun, engaging, challenging, short. Awesome game! Innovative and fun gameplay and story, but doesn't take up too much of your time. Also no need to do the premium and no in-app purchases! If you don't do premium it plays kind of like a rogue-like, i.e. you have to start the whole game over if you lose or leave. Makes it take a while to beat in 1 sitting, but you can always leave it running and play a few times over the course of the day.

One of the best games on the apple store. TLDR: Good game, challenging but fun This is easily one of the best games out there. The story is both hilarious and engaging, the concept is easy to grasp but near impossible to master, and the game is actually difficult. The difficulty is easily greater than most apps on the platform, and creates a time waster that isn’t mindless clicking. Story spoilers ahead The story is incredible, and leaves you satisfied when you beat the game. Beginning and ending with the dentist also feels really poetic, and the game hints to his project many times throughout the game. Overall, would recommend to everyone, and would love to see a sequel or dlc!

Beautiful, addicting and fun. This game has everything going for it. It looks phenomenal, it's humorous, it's addicting and as far as I'm concerned, I haven't seen one bug or glitch at ALL. The way it's addicting is the best part about it. It's not addicting like Flappy Bird addicting, where every time you die you'll just say "Ok once more" and you say that four hundred times. It's addicting because it's hard, and it wants you to come back into it. This game is amazing. I love it, and it's almost guaranteed that you will love it too.

Followed the music. Just wanted the developers to know, i found and loved Smash Hit on my own, then Pinout, but researching that music led me to ITunes, and then here by turns. It’s hard to overstate how much is added by a top notch soundtrack adds to the experience. Douglas Holmquist and Susanna Lundgren made that game special. Cant wait to try this one.

It really is addictive. I just had to finish. It took me months of off and on playing to get to the last level only to realize that I had not acquired enough time to finish. I started the game again from level one and began racking up more time just so I could finish. I just beat the game and now am looking forward to trying to beat my score. Definitely a game that provides plenty of opportunities to beat yourself time and time again. I recommend very few games but I definitely recommend this one.

Great but one suggestion. I really love the game. The overhead view, the cars unreliable handling, overall fun, to drive the cars... Personally the fact that I am a kid with no desire to spend my money on the premium, but it seems I am repeating the same levels. Here is my thought. I love the view and car mechanics, it might be a good idea to design a game using same car mechanics but for a different purpose. Say a racing game with online pvp. Just an example, but that would be a game to play hours on end and still not be bored. Please take my idea into consideration as I have tried to look for any game to play like this but there is no other, Thanks you.

Wow! This is crazy... FUN!!!. Not since the arcade game Super Sprint have I engaged in a "micro" driving game that is this crazy and/or fun. Remembering where your other vehicle paths are is a challenge at first, but as you play more you become much more creative and engaged. I highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone who wants something completely different from the norm. :-D

A rare gem of a game. By now, everyone has commented on the cool temporal puzzles where you essentially have to solve the problems you just finished creating. I love the mechanic, and I have thoroughly enjoyed "solving" them. I will say that the premium add-ons are virtually necessary unless you plan to start from the beginning a whole lot, but the game is easily worth the price. What I also like is that it is a well done package. It invokes the 70's accurate, with great music, sound effects, visuals, etc. Even the skeumorphism of the interface hits the nail on the head. I haven't quite finished it yet (I am one area away from the last), but I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorites.

There is just ONE issue.... This is an AMAZINGLY good game! It’s very clever when it comes to mechanics, and it looks great with interesting stories for each driver BUT does anyone else find it annoying to run a few courses on low time but they are short on time pickups so u run out of time easily and go all the way back to the start, now for my last statement I am also curious if people have come across a moment where because of how they drove previously they can’t get past an area I have not had this moment but I feel like I’ve gotten close to that but other than that it’s an amazing game and I recommend it

They're right; it's addicting. It's not what you expect, but you quickly get into the groove of it (or, that's at least how it went for me). It's hard to put down! It is challenging in a fun, creative way, not an invite-all-of-your-pals way. I just about never make in-app (or even app) purchases, but I even found it worth it to get the premium booster. I wish there was a better system for selecting power-ups and starting, because the app sometimes gets confused about which one I'm trying to do, but it is otherwise worth playing.

I need a 2nd. I loved so much about this game, from the story to the simplicity of the game, it was all well done. This game proves that you don’t need complex gameplay to feel invested in a game. The story that is told about the individual characters builds your interest so that you need to keep playing. This game is also something I can just pick up and start playing. When I have the chance, I can direct one or two cars, pause, and then return later. Well done to the great team that put this together.

Joy Ride. We love this game. Frustrating and funny. The playback option cracks up our daughters especially when we take turns driving the cars. Impossible crashes, flips and jumps have them howling with laughter. There's a mysterious backstory playing out in the town with the quirky characters behind each car. Great game to play alone or sitting together, or even just as a spectator. Watching & listening as your kids piece together the lives of the drivers, try to control every type of vehicle imaginable and gather extra time points all before the clock runs out is a joy ride in itself.

Driving crazy. This app is a lot of fun! You have to repeat sections if you don't make it through. Each drive you take effects the next drive which eventually turns into mayhem depending on how well you controlled the cars. They show up at each section and so you are making your own game against yourself. I am still working on it when I find the time. I think you'd love trying it out! Just don't drive like that on real roads!!!!

Great idea, Crappy Controls. I like everything about this game except for the controls. Their set up is fine but the response in turns is WAY off. Sometimes it's to fast, other times it way to slow or non existent. I find my self slamming the screen to make a turn and the car does nothing but go straight. It is a small thing that causes the game to get frustrating and in the end not fun to keep.

It is a great game. Not much to say other than its great it's simple enough to understand yet complex enough to be fun one thing though the game studio shouldn't be called mediocre it should be called excellence because that's what they have brought to the table. And I am very impressed expect to see my name under the list of people who bought the full version.

Stop complaining people.. The game is great. After ripping through the all the levels with mediocre times, you find out you must restart from beginning to perfect your runs. Only suggestion I have is, more levels. 7 isn't enough. Within 24hrs of purchasing the game, and playing an hr here and there, it was already defeated.

Fantastic! Def NOT Short!!. This game is most definitely NOT short. If you think you have beaten this game in a few hours or even a few days, you are mistaken. You may have gotten to the end, but that’s NOT the end of the fun. This game is deep, deep, DEEP! There are more ways to improve your times than you will EVER find. Can you run every vehicle on turbo - without crashing? Do you know some vehicles can "fly"? Do you know the best way to get the hidden 10-second time bonus on the first level? Oh, you didn't know there was a hidden 10-second time bonus on the first level?? There are two. Search FB and you'll find lots of hints, tips & tricks you never imagined. You have _months_ of driving fun ahead of you! P.s. Just getting through the last level is an accomplishment, but keep in mind that it is possible to score over 450!

Wish there were more levels. This is by far my favorite game. I imagine that this company is no longer but if one of the developers should happen to read this, please add more levels. I bought it when it first game out years ago , but still haven’t found a game I enjoy as much. And the story, its very funny and entertaining. 😁❤️

Too fun to put down!. It’s quirky! It goes SSSCCCRREEEECH!!!!! It sometimes goes CRASSSSHHH!!!! And all the while it’s so delightfully brilliant how it all gets put together. It can be frustrating when the timing is wrong. Keep trying and make these puzzles work. You’ll soon learn what works and what doesn’t and it’s so fun to watch it all play out when you do succeed!

Great game for when you're on the go. This is a clever, fun little game that you can spend hours to master or enjoy for a couple of minutes at a time. The premium version is a good price for this game and the free version is a perfect preview, because it's the game! You have to buy the premium version to unlock some extras and to be able to return to where you left off instead of restarting at the beginning, so if you're having fun and want to do that, lay down a couple shmeckles

Engaging and entertaining. Does Not Commute combines clever game design with a humorously haunting story to create a standout mobile application. You control poorly-handling cars trying to drive across the neighborhood. Once you've successfully transported one car, your perspective shifts to another, only this time your drive is impeded by the car you just drove taking the exact path you just did. You're essentially playing against both yourself, as you swerve to avoid the cars you controlled just seconds ago, and the clock, as you must complete all the routes in sixty seconds. This time can be increased by collecting disks on the road, but doing that means potentially running into the cars you drove earlier. It's challenging and compelling, made all the more so with the narrative. Every new car you drive brings with it a sentence or two about its driver. Through these vignettes, the game goes from innocent to strange to dark in a hurry. Mediocre have created a fantastic gaming experience in Does Not Commute, and if you enjoy the challenging gameplay, this app will quickly become one of your favorites.

Very fun game — and great sales policy. I have played hours and hours of a game from this publisher that involves breaking glass. Don’t know if I’m allowed to talk about other games. I’ve been getting increasingly annoyed with being made to sit through ads in other games and I figured I ought to look at what else these folks have done. Saw the reviews of this and figured it was worth a look. This is a lot of fun, both in game mechanics and the story. I’m not through the whole game, but I can already say it has replay value. There is skill and strategy involved. And the money I paid? No ads! Happy to give them the money. Will watch to see what they do next.

GREAT BUT........ I LOVE THE ACTION OF THIS GAME. It is mesmerizing and challenging but I have downloaded a version three times on my iPad Pro because the game continues to freeze. I am nervous to spend money on the upgrade version because of the freezing. I cannot tell if it is the iPad or the game. Update....it turns out the freezing was the way the free version was designed. It is only a teaser. After playing the paid version it is becoming more and more frustrating. It is designed to be hard and it seems to take a long time to become skilled so your advancement is too slow to be rewarding which raises the level of frustration. So if you like to win at a task, this may not be the game for you.

One of the Best Games I Have Ever Played. Thank you Mediocre, for making one of the most creative and exciting games I have ever played. It is so creative with having no one to blame but yourself, and I always laugh when I say, "Oh great. I ran into myself." It is so creative with all the backgrounds and the stories and the soul-stealing death spirit Ni-Ko Bim-Zawang. I never get tired of it and I really enjoy it. The one thing that I think would be fun to add would be another storyline, separate from the current one, because this one is already great. Thanks so much and keep making awesome games.

Interesting Story and Game. I beat the game in about 2 hours while on a long car ride, although it was (most definitely) not my first attempt. It's quite fun to maneuver the cars to their destinations and quite satisfying to watch them barely pass by each other at the end of each level. Does Not Commute is fun to play in short time intervals and long ones alike. If you have premium, you can enjoy the benefits of not having to restart the whole story each time you lose or close the game. I did not find the need for premium however, I just tried to beat the whole game each time I took it out. Was worth it in the end. The gameplay was nice but what really caught my attention once I beat the game was the story. I hadn't really payed too much attention to the story until the uh... 'time and space' picked up, to put it in other words. Upon passing the last level, I replayed each level to read each character's lines. Man I gotta say, this game's story is very well thought out. Although quite quirky, most of it makes sense at the end. It's like a weird confusing movie which at the end explains all the weird stuff you've been seeing. It was also very creative, as I've never heard of such weird characters ever in my life. All in all, a very solid game which actually becomes more fun as you play and understand the story.

Very addictive!. I got this game before i went on a long plane ride, to distract myself so I wouldn't be bored. This game definitely lived up to the reviews and my expectations! It did take me a bunch of times to figure out how to steer and control the cars. I am now stuck on level six- i always get up to the 16th car and run out of time! Now, I can't seem to stop playing!! This game also makes me see life in a whole new perspective- who knows what's going on in other people's lives? That's why we shouldn't judge people blindly, until we know the full story. Thank you, mediocre! As usual, your game was well thought out and i can see the effort and the sheer genius you put into your game, as always.

More time and unlock when completed!. I hate when I have not much time so if you have updates let there be a extra time update with 100 time and when we are done with the map and go to next map the one we finished is open for us!

Best Game Ever!. Does not commute is a really great game to play! Firstly, the game is very strategic and to get a car from point A to point B but the other car that you just drive is completely there so you’ll have to figure out a way to drive to point B while avoiding the other car. Also, this game has very interesting lore related to time travel and other things! Lastly, The game has great music and beautiful designs! Conclusion: Recommend playing this game!

SO MUCH FUN!. lol I played this game for just a minute and I was loving it. It forced you to sort of remember where you had maneuvered before, and it makes you see that EVERYTHING you do has consequences! The strategy in this game is awesome, and it's very fun to play. It's also not one of those games where it's impossible, but it's not just super duper easy either. 👌🏽

Why did you do this. I get you need to make money but why make a free game but say you need to pay to actually have fun. It’s a good game but there is no point in playing it if you never finish it. Complete waste of time!

Great game - lacking key features. I'm not going to tell you why this game is good, but what I will tell you is what it is lacking. First off, the game should have a race mode where all cars have turbo and Armor, or a mode where people around the world compete for the fastest time. There should also be a level/map editor where you can choose the start and finish places for each car and also edit the map (bumps, buildings etc.) available for download by everyone. I would be more than happy to pay another few dollars for you to add these features that I think should have been there to begin with.

Let down by poor controls. The idea is great but it's just let down by poor controls which may be fun to master if you're willing to invest the time. As a casual fun game it's just irritating. I'd have liked to see a touch interface using finger slides from left to right of screen instead. It would be interesting to see how force-touch tech works with this game.

Awesome game, good work guys!. This is a fun game for all ages and can be played pretty much anywhere. One of my biggest problems is the time limit. Now, it’s a good premise, but I just wish there was some kind of free-play mode. But overall, really good game. Good job!

does not compute. A beaut fun driving game I have fallen in love with and I have not been booked by the cops yet! I am working hard at getting through the stages also had a great time with my grandchildren. I love the detail, squealing tyres, black smoke coming out of crashed cars, beautiful and love it. Very Engaging and fun.. for awhile. For a shorter game this is absolutely my favourite on the app store. There are only 7 levels which does make it quite short, but if like me you play the free version you have to start from the beginning every single time, which can make actually finishing the game a very lengthy process in one sitting

Unexpectedly hilarious. This is easily one of the best games I have ever played. It combines witty humour with interesting game play where every character you control interacts and is affected by all the characters you have previously controlled

Awesome. It's like the Pako Car game but a lot better! I would by premium if it meant that it would remove the 1 second penalty for rewinding. Otherwise perfect! Another outstanding game from Mediocre.

Will give 5 stars when game doesn't auto close. SUCH A FUN AND ADDICTIVE GAME, BUT PLEASE DON'T AUTOMATICALLY CLOSE THE GAME WHEN I PAUSE AND SWITCH APPs. Then the checkpoint notice asking you to buy the game pops up and I haven't even technically lost on the level, it's not very fair :/ but nonetheless, a game worth playing if you don't mind starting on level 1 again all the time

Fun but sometimes annoying. I love the graphics and the idea of the game, but I wish that you didn’t have to pay to save the game. It would make it more engaging and enjoyable if you did this. Although, I would still recommend this game to others.

Addictive. I’ve only been playing this game a short while and I’m addicted, I’ve laughed a lot playing it as it’s a wild ride. I don’t regret paying to get the premium version and it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this app!

Interesting Opinion!. It’s an amazing game, love the concept! Don’t want to pay $5 to save my game though. Surely there’s other ways to make in-app purchases available; difficulties, extra stages, conditions eg weather, speed (fast, slow-mo) etc. I understand dev’s need support financially, but I feel there may be other options so that everyone can enjoy this amazing game. With saying that I probably will make the purchase as I love the game. Thanks heaps dev’s.

View of all turns. After time runs out, instead of being asked to only “play again” or “go to the main menu” there should be a third option to freely view the whole thing. For example, after pressing the option to rewatch all the turns made, you are able to swipe right and left on the map to see all the cars that you controlled play out while you just watch. After the turns are done they repeat again and again until the player is satisfied with watching and then either “play again” or “go to the main menu”. I know me and my cousin would love that very much. Only mentioning this because I was expecting it but I love the game so far. An easy five stars if this was implemented.

Wow. If stunning, powerful, accurate and beautiful graphics and animations are what you like, then this game is for you. It is a unique idea sewn together with amazing physics, funny content and a mysterious storyline. The game has next to no flaws so the only thing letting it down is the stupid in-app purchases but this is more than made up for with the add free, free game's positive features.

A great find.. Really well-designed, innovative game - it has class and detail for the smaller things. The story was fun to follow and charismatic in the way it was told. The only improvement needed is simply more content, but I'm sure it is on the way as long as we continue support it.

Clever and fun. This game is the perfect roll in one for both fun gameplay and witty humour. The little text lines regarding each character and how they all ended up having connected storyline’s was both funny and enjoyable to follow along with. For those who just want gameplay there is certainly a level of quick thinking and strategy involved which can be very satisfying to get the hang of. Would definitely recommend.

Numbers to Letters. When I first installed and started playing Does Not Commute, I expected a simple ‘drive to destination’ game. I thought the game a bit boring until I began to take notice of the intricate storyline and the interesting lives the characters live. Not to mention the secrets buried within the levels. This only pushed me to finish the game and see where the story ended. A lot of people always ask ‘where are the updates?’ but I think it’s good to see that the developers know where to stop, having already left the game at a perfect state. Although I have not bought premium, I think it is an appropriate purchase to have included for those that are not as skilled or have the time to play through the whole thing. The game has easily earned a 5/5 from me. Take note of the numbers, they have more meaning than you think.

Good concept. Poor execution. This is a really great little game. I understand the concept of in game purchases and the need for it, but to close the game after the first level in order to restart my phone, and be prompted that the saved checkpoint that I could see on the overview map was for premium only...? Little bit frustrating. I’m sure there are more creative ways to source income from this game. As soon as I realised I had no progress save capabilities, instant uninstall.

Change the monetisation of this game. Polished, thoughtful game that is largely sullied by the way it implements IAPs. Instead of letting me play on, only to have my progress lost, make it more clear that the free version will only save up to a certain point. Twice now I've played on thinking it was a bug but now I'm annoyed to find its not a bug, it's just the way the game has limited its "trial". Bad taste in my mouth and I'm not going to play it anymore. Otherwise, it's not a bad game, although it does get repetitive quickly, but I find most mobile games do, so don't hold it against this one.

Broken controls. Attractive art style. However had to quit since controls are not being registered 25% of the time. Crucial moments often lead to crashes because car wont turn. Disappointing.

Annoyed. The game saves the various levels you achieve but does not save where you are within a given level. This necessitates that you complete a level before closing the game; otherwise you must begin over again within that level. Apparently the developer assumes you have nothing better to do except play their game all day.

Simplistic Fun. A simple subject done very well. Art style and visuals are charming and the unfolding backstory is intriguing and genuinely interesting. Only complaint is the lack of a replay feature, so before you move on to another level you can watch the chaos unfold that you created trying to get Mr. Lee to his job.

Interesting puzzler. I’m digging this developer, PinOut is fun as well. I like the goofy storylines for each car; fun graphics and easy controls. The only thing I would like to see is being able to watch all your cars going at once when you finish a level. Keep up the good work!

Fun, but impossible. Great game and unique idea, however it just gets impossible. The controls are crude and the timing way too little time. It gets impossible without spending money. Endless mode and track builder. Absolutely amazing game but I'd kill for an endless mode just to see how many cars I could have going in one map and the ability to build my own tracks

I like it when it has freeplay. You can drive any car in this game. All maps unlocked and even unlimited time. It would be sick when you add it. The sick thing that i was talking about it cool. Not throwing up.

Fun and addicting. This game is very fun. The game is about driving but there's like a twist to it. You have to drive against yourself in the end, and you have to manage a timer. It's kind of gives you a little rush of adrenaline. It's super fun, and super addicting. Two thumbs up :p

Interesting and Entertaining. This was a fun game to play. The challenge this game gave promised that you wouldn't do well on your first try, but it was easy enough to where you could pass it after a few tries. I also love the game's humor; it's quite unique.

More Gamemodes. The game is great, but it would be even greater if you add a variety of game modes. The game is finite and only a certain number of levels. The simplest could be an survival mode where you get infinite cars and try to survive without crashing. Also a cockpit camera view would be amazing.

It’s alright. It’s a decent game, it is exactly what you expected when downloading, so five stars for expectations. It’s both funny with the irony of small backstories and crashes you could cause.

I really love this game.. I’ve only just downloaded it, but it’s really nice. The graphics are great, the gameplay is fun and humorous. And it’s free. Which is always a bonus. And then I realized it was made by the same fantastic people that made Pin Out and Smash Hit. Two games I greatly love.

**** ok. The reason I'm saying 4 stars is because I think they should have a multiplayer mode where people will all play at the same time trying to get there cars to their destination and you could get a new car every time you level up

Free Version is awful. The core game is amazing fun but the game does not save any of your progress unless you get the paid version. So if you spend 20 minutes moving ahead you’ll lose all that progress once you quit. I immediately deleted the app once I discovered that and I’m very disappointed because the game is really fun. I just don’t want to have to repeat everything I’ve already done in order to play it.

Distracted Driving: the soap opera. This game is like watching a car wreck, both literally and figuratively. It's all about morbid fascination. In terms of game mechanics it's ridiculously fun. In terms of story it's creepy and silly. I know no game like it, so I can't suggest "if you like X you'll like this"... just try it and decide for yourself.

Delightfully entertaining game. While the strategy aspect of this game is enough to make it worth 5 stars, the play-by-play of each character adds a very funny and entertaining overlay. Would love to see more levels.

Too slow?? Maybe. I love this game and I always play when I'm bored. The only thing is that I feel that maybe the car gets too slow when you crash. Maybe this is me being my complainy self but I need to know that I'm not the only one that thinks this.

Lots of fun, but one complaint. I love the gameplay. It's fun dodging and weaving through all the cars you've driven while trying to keep your time down. But I feel like it would be more fun if you didn't get docked one second every time you restart. I find it very paralyzing to lose 5 or 10 seconds because I keep hitting a lamp post...

Mediocre is right. Not sure where all the stellar reviews are coming from. The 'onion-skin' concept (carrying over the activity from one level to the next) is strong and the graphics are nicely-rendered, but the goofy music and silly, unrelated story details can't paper over simplistic, repetitive gameplay. In the end, the game felt kinda…dumb.

NEEDS A SEQUEL. OMG I have never felt so much love for a game. The characters, storyline, and graphics and no-ads... this game deserves so much more than 5 stars, and yet we want another sequel of the game. These unique games are so addicting and we hope you come back Mediocre!

Fantastic. This is a game where you don’t realize it’s difficult until it suddenly is and the difficulty is always your own fault.

Great fun. I have smash hit and this game is just as fun. Just like smash hit, if you want to continue from the last checkpoint you need to pay 2.99 but I did and it's worth it. Otherwise the game is super fun even without the premium version. Get it, and request it to your friends.

Be Prepared to Do it Again. This game is fun at its core, but you have to see an art or some sort of entertainment in doing the same level over and over again. You'll make it to the end of a level and run out of time, then have to do it ALL over again. So, just be prepared to do things again and again. Then you'll have to go back a level just to get a little more time.

Catchy but poorly executed. I like the premise of the game but the controls are too loose. By that I mean the area that you should click on for a turn is not consistent. I noticed throughout the game that the car wouldn’t turn even though I was pressing on the same spot. Also, at times the car goes off screen with no way of knowing how to get it back.

Makes me laugh, challenges me, and is free!. This is a fun and unusual game. I jumped right in and played; easy to learn but makes a good challenge with lots of moments where people around you turn their heads and wonder what you are uncontrollably giggling about. Good job to the designers.
