Not it’s predecessor. What Gangstar Vegas brought us in an exciting world/map, REAL story mode, interactivecapabilities, this game fails massively. The world/map is the biggest thing that I dislike. New Orleans just isn’t a visually exciting city like Vegas or Rio de Janeiro. Honestly, one of my favorite parts about Vegas was the ability to fly planes & choppers from the airport which is unavailable in this game. With the TINY energy bar that really only allows you to play one mission every 20 minutes, there’s no incentive to do anything other than free roam on the very boring map. The map in Vegas was so interactive!!!! You could go to casinos, clubs, rooftop bars, you could actually invade the military base, you could even do dirt races in the arena (although that was taken out)!!! New Orleans tried to be as different from GTA as possible which was really unnecessary. People aren’t interested in temporarily gaining territory only to randomly lose it back after a couple days, we want a deep story mode that gets add-ons over time. I think the mansion island feature is cool though, its nice to have a home base.

Shops and graphics also missshon cash and crashes. First I’d like to say I think that this game is good I’ve never played the rest of the Gangstar games and I was disappointed but this one is great with flaws like random crashes and LOTS of lags I think you should put an update as soon as possible. Now for some ideas I have like you should get G$ when you finish a mission also there should be shops to buy stuff also to buy stuff please listen to me and more people like me and put more stuff cuz it gets boring also I want too rob shops in my own free time in the game also thank you for the update can there be a offline mode as well and I would also like to have a story in the game with connections to the other rockstar gam- uh whatever the other games are called and then I will start playing again

I love it but there are just some features that i want to be added. 1. You can save cars in your garage since it is kind of useless because you can only store the cars u own but if u find a rare car and u want to store it in your garage you can. 2. Rolls you can roll like in six guns a button that you can press to roll. 3. You can aim with guns like six guns and GTA for example and if you shoot someone in the head he instantly dies and anywhere else it takes a few shots. 4. Rare cars and weapons and spirit jars around the map, if you find one of these they become yours if you store a car in your garage or a gun in the armory and a spirit jar you open automatically. 5. Mansions are kind of useless so if have a wardrobe in your house and you can't change from the menu it will be so cool same thing with guns you can only change guns if you are at the armory. 6. A bigger variety of missions like heists and you can do missions that you already did in the campaign in a place in the menu Other than these features that I want this game has everything well done

Unresponsive Customer Support. I have contacted their customer support 3 times and it has been almost 3 months with no response. I absolutely loved Gangstar Vegas but have not been able to get past one of the beginning missions because of a gameplay error that will not allow me to select the spirit jar to get the car I need for the mission. This is because it says I already have the car because I’ve already clicked on the spirit jar that gives me the car. But everytime I load the game it takes me to the screen and tells me to click on a spirit jar that is non existent. I wish I could say I enjoyed the game because I praised the vegas one and told everyone I knew to play it. I’m more than disappointed in how I have been ignored by their support team and hope that I might be able to play this game in the future but I have no faith in their team doing anything.

Really good!. I want multiplayer really bad also make events much more enjoyable and also event energy takes way to long to recharge! It's so infuriating and getting 4 star items should be easier I've played since weak 1 and still don't have any I play a iPhone 5s and no crashing has happened to me well actually it happens occasionally but like 1 a hour and it's not bothering tbh also the gameplays fun but make grenades and health kits accessible with gold pls and its overall 8 out of 10 but it's really fun where it gets things right. I feel like the odd man out because the games not glitchy for me but cosmetic/gun system need to be better like a gun store and easier collectibles wow they actually fixed the cosmetic system and and the pay to win aspect also easier rewards it’s not perfect but they even put in more story! OMG! It’s from 8 out of 10 to 9.5 out of ten!

Amazing game but..... I downloaded this game yesterday and I’M IN LOVE WITH IT!!! A lot of rip offs of GTA are usually horrible! Most look like they were made by a drunk 5 year old in 5 minutes. But this.....this is so good it doesn’t even seem like that much of a copy cat the more you play! But my title doesn’t just say “PERFECT GAME!!!” I have one complaint. And no I’m not a Karen just because I said this! When I try to watch a commercial so I can get a cool skin, the video just froze after it was done. And you could barely see it! Half of it was on the right that I could see. But the other half was out of the screens sight. But other than that, I THINK ITS SO COOL!!! It could even be BETTER than GTA! And I love that you can customize almost everything you own! So thank you for looking at my rating and have a nice day!

Best GTA 5 game. I agree with everyone else I don’t like the turf idea I just want it a very close gta feeling like name some places and make them show up in the screen when you go to a place instead of turfs and make people more alert if something bad is around they’ll run away and scream and I want to be able to change radio stations like in gangstar Vegas when in vehicle. and make graphics REALLY REALISTIC thank you and the font for when you make it to a city town place or when you enter a vehicle make the name fonts calm cursive type like gta if you try doing all these stuff I promise you you’ll get 5 stars from everyone I mean like almost everyone is a gta 5 fan keep it up !

Good until.... I fully recommend this game to anyone searching for an open world/ GTA kind of style mobile game. Best one of the store in my opinion. I have been playing for quite some time now, but about a month or two ago I had to delete to save some space on my phone. Recently, I re-downloaded it, and it saved all my data which I thought was excellent for I was pretty advanced by the time I had left. However, two days ago, I tried opening the app and it said: breaking in recruits 3/6 It has been stuck on that since and I cannot open the app in any way so I am a bit annoyed but I am sure there is a way to fix the problem. I hope this feedback can let me still play this amazing 3D world game.

Great but not perfect. Graphic is great and gaming experience good missions are not bad but the storyline not that great as Gangstar Vegas it’s not contacted at all and not that u know that feel that what will happen next what I gotta do u know what I mean and there is no event or something u know that we can say I can’t wait for or i got to do it with every update it getting worst u Chang a lot of things and about the house isn’t enough the cost of build that we spend hours to get it and u want those stuff at not easy to get and why no offline mode maybe I’m out or internet is off maybe I want at least role in the city drive explore with stuff I got and I been playing this game since it come out I was so excited for it and then it turned out worst then Gangstar Vegas not that worst I still play both since they come out and all most Gameloft games and I know what I’m talking about there is so much thing u can do but u didn’t and what about online mode everyone have been asking about it for ages it wasn’t in all the Gangstar series and u put hope that this new Gangstar will be and u asked ur players about their thoughts what they wont and u did nothing and u can do it but why not why?

A solid GTA-clone. I love urban open world games and constantly revisit the virtual cities of the GTA and Watch_Dogs titles. Gangstar: New Orleans is not quite up to that level of quality, but considering that the app is FREE this is one beast of a bargain for any mobile device. Though the GTA series on the iOS are deeper, more solid games, they just weren’t meant to be played on a smartphone. I feel that Gangstar’s shorter mission design is better suited for the on-the-go format, just as the control scheme is a preferred fit for the touchscreen. To add to the lightning fast structure of the campaign, in this installment you can even begin missions by directly tapping an icon on the menu map instead of traveling to its location if you’re pressed for time. The city is also well-realized for a mobile game and causing havoc and exploring in the open world is always a blast. It is no doubt flawed, however. High on-screen action can dip its performance greatly with constant frame drops. The story is rather disjointed and juvenile in nature. I would’ve also liked a greater emphasis on radio stations. In spite of these imperfections, though, I feel the need to thank Gameloft for their ambition of trying to replicate this genre on the small screen.

Heist. I enjoy playing this game very much. It almost replicates GTA and I love that. My only concern is that while on the street and roaming about, there seems to be a lack of things to do. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have been playing for a little while now and you can’t enter any buildings or do anything with them. Besides that, one thing that would be absolutely awesome is if you would add a Heist feature. If I had the ability to attempt heists, this would be no doubt my favorite game of all time. The only thing keeping me from getting all of my friends to get this game is the simple fact that there isn’t any heist or other features similar to a heist. There aren’t even really any games on the market that offer heist options, so if you could add that feature, I think it would really improve your app overall. I still love this game and will keep playing no matter what, but if you could possibly add a heist or robbing feature or anything of that sort, this game would be through the roof!! Thank you.

Awesome game, here are some easy ideas to make it better. Great game, super addicting with a different experience every time. Here are a few ideas for future updates: 1: traffic control. Sometimes it’s fun to weave and dodge through cars, but with some of the faster cars I think that it would be nice with no traffic to just flat-out speed through the streets. It would be nice in the settings menu to have a toggle for traffic control like in other games. 2: another train. There is a tram in the French Quarter, but I think it would be nice to have like a freight train going around the map that maybe we can hitch a ride on. I personally love trains so if this happened I would be very excited. 3: more interactivity. Story mode is good, but after you complete the story missions they almost never appear again and it was fun interacting with the characters. When you walk up to a random person on the street they do say stuff, but even making those just slightly longer could make a difference. Maybe making story missions for the future that could be periodically unlocked by level would keep this interesting. Thanks for reading, and I hope that these can be added in the future! Great game, but I’m encountering a major bug. I’ve had this game for a few months now, and I’ve had a great time with it. There are tons of guns, cars, and outfits to choose from. I really like the open world environment, and I love how huge the map is. I only have one issue. Sometimes when I open the game I get these weirdly formatted ads. I understand that the game needs ad revenue to help it survive, and the ad volume is no issue (very reasonable). The issue is that these ads don’t quite fit on my screen and there is no “x” button after the ad has played out. The result is that I can’t continue playing the game and need to close out the app. However, some of these ads occur upon start up and prevent me from playing entirely. This must be some bug, please fix it.

Updates messed it up. Needs more mission variety--try bringing back parachute and heist missions like in vegas-- and co op. Also give players back the ability to use multiple weapons per mission. Lack of variety and enclosing updates like the one weapon per mission one show just how rushed this game was. And in limiting players options, you made it worse. This is an insult to it’s predecessor and the series. Also please bring back the ability to replay story missions. Plus please have hostile criminals spawn in the open world. Original setting, and you screw up. Combined with how you took away and minimized every opportunity to earn in game currency without micro transactions and I am considering uninstalling. Started out a good dame and you messed it up with updates. Plus no new updates have come out. Do something with it! Note: adding this in summer 2018. Still no noticeable update on this. Online and local multiplayer are what this is set up for. Please act on it. I, like other consumers in the mobile gaming market, as well as many of my friends, are loosing patience with gameloft. With most products I would turn away from the manufacturer at this point, but the competitors for this genre of mobile game are borderline nonexistent.

It’s a free game…we get it…but it’s far too many Ads.. The game is buggy. It has great graphics, okay controls but could use an update. For a mobile game Gangstar New Orleans definitely delivers that console style gameplay. Love the open world aspect though the map could be a little bigger. Also, having only 20 bolts of energy is clearly not enough when missions take at least 8-10 bolts of your energy so you can only play about two missions before exiting the game…you have very few ways of earning any energy so in my opinion there should be at least 50 bolts of energy and there should be more ways of recharging without having to bombard yourself with ads…It’s a free game…we get it…you get paid off a free game by making us watch ads…we get it…but it’s far too many Ads. I can’t even access the map menu without having to watch an Ad. It’s one thing to have to watch ads for diamonds or to unlock things but there too many to the point to where it effects the players enjoyment...which is why I uninstalled it.

So Many Ads!. I started playing this when it was first released, I quit it after a month and because I felt it needed updates on experience/money etc. I recently came back to it a few days ago and I am bamboozled! 😂 Let me tell you if your reading this, the amount of ads in this game is pathetic, it completely ruins the immersion in the game. It has a fantastic location set, New Orleans, LA and I’m a New Orleans native so I fell in love when I first played, back then it didn’t have any adds whatsoever and I understood that developers had to cash in. They did so by offering in game purchases that would pop up every now and then which is okay on my end. But now..even doing the simplest thing such as opening the map to pick a mission or check your location will grant you a unskipable add or 5 sec wait before you can skip type of add. Even when first starting a mission they will hit you with one. The amount of desperation for money for these folks is pathetic. Adds everywhere at every given opportunity. Great game.. but the greed of the developers has ruined it completely. The developers are pathetic and low for what they have done. 0 stars if I could 🤦🏽‍♂️

Graphics option and needs a big update. This game is great but it needs a graphics option because after while I get a headache it’s the game because when I play other games my head does not Hurt after playing them for hours so please add this option. And one more thing update this game this game needs A big UPDATE like seriously this game gets boring after A while and it’s hard to get new weapons and vehicles and it’s hard to get jams and money make it a little easier please and add shops to buy weapons and vehicles with game money not real money so please we beg you guys to update this game and if you guys don’t put these things inside the game 1. I’m going to delete this game and never Play it again unless you guys put these things inside the game I’ll continue playing this game but if you don’t well I’m gonna delete it. 2. I’m going to tell everyone that I know to not get this game and I’m also going to tell the people how have this downloaded on there phone to delete this game and I’ll tell the people Who see the game in the AppStore and want to download it Because they Think that this game has shops that you can use Game money and all that stuff there going to download it just to find that this game doesn’t have shop and you can only get weapons and vehicles by getting crates and yes in know those things aren’t you called crates but I don’t remember what were their called. Glitches. Ok the game is fine has potential. But i think the game should have an offline option since im getting tired of fighting over an area with another player who then completely out rates me. Therefore, i would prefer an offline mode where other players cant take over ur area especially when u are trying to make progress thru the game without having to deal with other players. This is just my personal opinion. If u guys can do that i’d be grateful. Ps everytime i charge my iphone SE to play the game the map likes to appear out of random and the vehicle controls hardly work. Its really hard to continue playing when the game messes up during the phone charging. Thx for listening and i hope for the best of u guys :)

Fix the game. Don’t get me wrong I love the game so much I love that you can drive around and listen to music and explore wherever you want. This game is well made and a good representation of the mob and how they worked. But now I must get to the part referencing to the tittle of my review please fix the servers. for the past 3 days or so the game has not worked I tried to turn my phone on and off and about any other option possible. And I love this game, as soon as I got the game I knew this is a game I want to keep and play for a long time. But I can’t play it because the servers are down. Amazing game!!. Wow this game is very fun and you can do a lot of things I like climbing up the stars and trying to last as long as I can I also try to last and kill at least a army man which I killed four today 2 by running over and 2 by shooting and also I have a powerful gold 3 or 4 star (I can’t recall) machine gun that fires out fireworks and this weapon is AMAZING I can kill guys pretty fast and I just got this game 5 or 4 days ago I love it but I also wish there was an option were you could also buy the weapons but I don’t mean remove unlocking guns as you get vases I just want an option were you could buy them. Some suggestions is that maybe you could add a empty handed option for holding no gun and if you pull out a gun people will get scared and the cops will come but you don’t have to add that part I also wish you could put things on your car like bigger tires or a turbo when you need to go fast I think you should add it so swat don’t have only one guy in the car another suggestion is adding a tank and make a transport vehicle for the army men which hold a couple men you need to fix the helicopters for the cops I never see them appear. Overall I love this game and I hope you add multiplayer ( like a online server ) one thing else I would love it if add a rag doll button for more things to do like rag dolling on people. I love this game and hope you keep it up.

Not recommended for iphone X and above. I honestly don’t know how this game has so many 5 stars, don’t get me wrong it’s really fun, but with the newest iphone 14 Pro, it still stutters with many stuff, sometimes the ads don’t even work, sometimes they play but they don’t reward you, but what’s even worse is that it is not fit for an iphone X and above because of the screen size, even worse with the iphone 14 Pro and above because of the dynamic island, it’s like all they did was zoom the game in and that’s it, you can’t adjust the controls or anything just like how you could in GTA 3, VC and SA, which is why this game is best on the iphone 8 plus and below since they have the same resolution as any other device, and sadly you won’t get a smooth gameplay with those older phones, this game is seriously bugged and it needs to be fixed, at least adjust the screen resolution please!

Has great potential. The game is amazing with its story’s and cars and such but I think for it to be at the best version of its self I should be able to decide wether I want the island or the private island next to plantations or many other house and I’d have to pay for it with normal money and also I think that you should add more interactive stores and buildings, for example the bank I should be able to come at anytime and rob it and I would immediately get 4 stars also for the police I think that you should have them be capable of shooting from the chopper and they should have boats and if I get caught I should be able to have the options pay the bail or watch the add or spend my time in prison and I think the game overall should be interactive which could help you using the adds for example you could say that the car has to have an amount of fuel and it can be recharged at the gas stations also multiplayer would be an amazing addition sorry if I’m asking for too much but I believe the things I said would make the game much better thank you for your time

Things to change/add. I’ve never written a review before but there’s a few things about the games that’s been bugging me. I don’t like how I can’t change the sensitivity of controls. I also wish I would be able to edit where the button are because on the iPhone XR a lot of the buttons on the edges get cut off. Also when you go to equip a new weapon in your loadout the view of the load out over laps the equip button so you have to press a small sliver of it to get it to work and it sometimes takes a few trys. I think Gameloft needs to add in a button that allows you to scope in with all the guns. I also think that Gameloft should add a speedometer to the cars and make make customizable controls for them. I would like to be able to rob civilians for like money and stuff too not just kill them. I really enjoy the game otherwise though. Ohh and I’d like it if you’d add in a forklift we could drive and like pick up cars and stuff just for fun.

Solid GTA game, but it feels empty, buggy, mid grafics. There is a lot of content in this game, but it just feel empty, as I’m about to complete the story for the 2nd time. There barely anything in the open world, while most areas of the map is missing such as the railway system in downtown is missing and other building designs. plus, police and military chopper doesn’t work in my Version. This game is the best one and still the latest open world game with zero updates for the past five years, only a bug fix recently. These devs really abandoned a good project that had a lot potential still. Instead, they went pay to win with there recent games. This is really sad for a game yet the best and worst of them all. Please devs return to this wonderful game, please!!!

Not there. Obviously we’re all looking for another option separate from GTA. This isn’t it. The mechanics are incredibly wonky, you’ll randomly climb up things when you’re not even close to them, slam into imaginary walls when driving (in a race), and worst of all try to shoot at somebody you can’t select. If that’s not bad enough, the upgrades to your mansion do absolutely nothing. After waiting a few weeks to collect “mansion points” I finally upgraded to level 3 which gave me nothing but a working tv and a cleaner dining room. I would rather spend time in the plantation houses that have more space. The only reason I give 3 stars is for some reason I keep playing it. One more thing, if I have completed all missions in an area at gold level, I shouldn’t have to keep coming back to maintain my territory. At most enemy raids and new missions are needed to make it reasonable to keep a territory. Meh.

Needs help.... This is a good game. Very addictive and one of the only games on my phone. And even though it’s a game it’s so fake and tacky. Things you need to fix or edit are: when you are on the run from police they know right where you are so there really isn’t anything exciting like hiding. Also when you are on the run cars for some reason swerve in front of you for no reason at all. And when you are the run from police sometimes everyone and all the cars disappear and there’s legit no one. And when you hit someone with a car and get out to surrender the police automatically start shooting at you, like why? And I wish you could go into the houses and stores and make it be more interactive. The cop cars are always faster than your car, even if you’re riding in the exact car they are they will always catch up to you. The guns don’t do any damage to anything and you have to use like 100 bullets in order to kill 1 cop. I truly don’t understand why the cops automatically start shooting at you like chill out and the apps legit rigged for you to get caught, cars swerve in-front of you, cops legit appear out of thin air and when your getting away more cops show up and start shooting at you. So when I accidentally hit 5 people with a car a bunch of cops start shooting at me, ramming into my car and the stupid hand gun doesn’t do anything. Thanks for listening.

It’s a good game but I wish it could be better. I’m just be honest I feel like it’s a good game I feel like they driving should be better more faster make it more real even though it’s a mobile game but I feel the energy bars is lame an unfair because it’s only maxed at 20 why not update the game an make the energy bar 100 or at least 50 but 100 would be better an plus to do a mission it takes sooooo much energy an that’s weak because what’s the whole point if one mission take 8 energy bars always when we only have 20 so i feel this needa be fixed an defending the sets an stuff take over sets like that’s lame I can take over 3 sets or even one set an I get off my phone for a few hours or so go back on then someone else took over my set like it’s so unfair an I wish it coulda been more like some mafia type way kinda like Mafia 3 lol that’s what I think of it when I play it I wish it was more like that but it’s a good game I guess but I have faith y’all go make some changes

Great game! But i have suggestions with the wanted system. The system is good but it really need some work one time i got shot and got out at the hospital and the Swat officers instantly try to arrest me and again and shot me up again.. And you should add new law enforcement enforcement characters and New reinforcements such as FBI agents or Homeland And even after or on two stars the officers on site should try to attempt to make a vehicle arrest and make this work for the army and swat This is just a suggestion to make the wanted system more interesting your probably not gonna read this even if you did see this your probably not gonna take this suggestion its just a quick idea to make the wanted system more interesting

Very good game but it needs a big fix on mobile. I love this game but when I join the screen goes to the bottom left but it’s really good and because of that I can’t play on mobile I just hate it because it keeps doing that and also when you are getting chased by the cops in the water the cops just drown and I think you should make police boats and please can you update it and put that you can go under water otherwise it’s a good game I love the map and stuff but I think you should put in more rich cars and I think you should put more death animations and I still love the game although I can’t play I really like it though

Trash!. The only reason I put 5 stars is hoping this will be seen. This game is trash! It glitches so much! And freezes all the time. I can tell it hasn’t been updated or debugged in a long time. I doubt the developer even pays attention anymore considering they don’t even bother to comment on any of the reviews or take note of anything! Witch is crazy considering the people playing the game are literally testing it out for you for free and giving advice but yet you won’t take it. This could be a great game but a lot of things need fixed or changed. You should also give the option to make your character or at least have an option to be a female in the game. This is just a knock off, wanna be version of GTA. Do better! This could be better!

This game is Good (not great). So I think you have gotten most of the main aspects down. Honestly I think you should add in more things to do like heists, more story missions, and possibly multiplayer. I think multiplayer would be great thing for the game. Another thin I want is that you can buy houses in the city. I mean the mansion is cool but I would like to have my own house in the city. There can maybe be 10-20 houses for purchase in the city. Also I want more of the building to be open. Then you would have more to do in the game. Also could the houses be available in multiplayer if you ever make multiplayer. Also can you make it so you could do more thing in houses. And in the multiplayer you can run around and talk through voice cat with your friends.

Why can’t you just buy cars. I just spent 45 diamonds on a jar and I didn’t get the car I wanted a Mustang four-star and I didn’t get it and I’m like I just spent all that money for nothing and I’m like you should give me the car for free and should make the cars able to buy in all the things able to buy was with the diamonds but spending 45 diamonds to get a chance to win that car is not good you’re wasting your money and I do not like this but I do like the game the game is good but I really want you to update the game like add more motorcycles planes supercars hyper cars trucks SUVs boats everything at like even a casino that works.

Add these things. I’M LOVING GANGSTAR NEW ORLEANS BUT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT COULD BE ADDED TO THE GAME!!! - PUT PEOPLE IN THE BUILDINGS with them actually doing stuff - Make it to where we can do more stuff at our mansions - being able to text our homies individually, gift them or something( right now we just have homies for nothing) - US BEING ABLE TO PICK OUR SHOES TO GO WITH OUR OUTFIT INSTEAD OF THE PANTS PICKING OUR SHOES!!! - MORE CLOTHES - Battle pass or something -add a aim button for every gun - being able to customize our guns( scopes, extended mags, gun skins and more) -being able to customize our cars in our garage( color, tattoos, tire, spoilers, armor and more) - when we steal the car from people they fight back sometimes - being able to rob places like stores, banks, casinos and more( but when that comes out make it to where when we rob banks, stores, and other places we get stars and different star levels for the place we robbed)! Make the high valued bounty a person the shoot back( the bigher the reward the better the fighters) *for example I went against a 1star valued person and he dies easily+ he don’t deal as much damage but if I went again a 5star person he has more health and etc*.

Public add-ons if you are honored. It sure will bring together many fans of this new game. City gangs must've been boring this time. But in my opinion, why shouldn't you make it the most popular city gang game on phones? Because we always see a lot of things missing from the game. like what? Let me suggest you. The open world, cars and multiple vehicles (more than 280 of them in the game) with reinforcements and preview of the vehicle when it crashes. What about all kinds of realistic weapons, should they be present in the game? I know we ask for a lot, but the word "many" is everything for the distinctive and non-boring game. I wait to see these words in the game now, so that I don't know the word (boredom) when I play it

IPhone 10 support is bad!. So first off, I love this game. It’s fun when I’m drunk to just mess around with the police and run over people. The thing that gets on my nerves though is that they haven’t updated this game in almost a year and I’m using an iPhone Xr. So basically if you have the 10 series, you might as well not play. When you go to your inventory to try to equip new weapons, you can’t because the weapon display is on top of the equip button so you can’t even change weapons. You’ll end up stuck with a maxed out shot gun(that actually does a lot of dog at max stars police) but ofc you can get even stronger gun and I can’t even use them. Another thing is, for some reason when I was getting my daily login rewards, it skipped over the 2-star gun but gave me all my other reward that Weren’t even worth it tbh. Overall it’s a good game but it’s no longer supported by the developer so you might as well move along from looking into this game. Just go buy GTA:SA.

Good game, but could use an update.. See, this game is a pretty good and fun game. Graphics are nice and gameplay is smooth. I think that since this is based after gangs and stuff, it should have more gang-related stuff. All you can really do is do missions, kill and run over people, and escape the police. Sure, it’s fun for the first few days but then it gets a bit boring. I think you should be able to play with other people such as your friends or just be able to do stuff like rob people/places, and be able to enter things such as the banks, apartments, shops, etc. and be able to interact with things and giving our character a voice. Also, lowering the prices for things such as boosters. I mean, cmon. 100 bucks for a tank and 2 machine guns? Really? That should’ve been 50 dollars, tops. Most bundles are outraged. Other than that, great game. Edit: My game has been stuck on 23/80 percent for the last few hours. It goes from 61 tops right back to 23 and tells me the game has had a connection error and to check my internet and retry. This isn’t the case or at least hasn’t worked because I have tried both data and WiFi more than twice over the past 6 hours and it hasn’t worked. I’ve also tried closing the tab which would usually work and restarting my phone, to the same result. I have seen other people with the same problem, please fix it!

Very good,Good realism, But one more thing.. It kinda doesn’t make any sense as of why you can’t steal airplanes or helicopters, You can do this in Vegas but I the game has a huge map. And there are no planes to steal as in Vegas it’s a tiny map with planes to steal. Also since there are interiors of some buildings and stores also warehouses, Should you be able to rob them? I mean like it would be a good way to earn money in free roam instead of walking around killing a monster and getting like 3 stars in the process. I mean there is no hate from me, but a decent feature of being able to: Rob stores, Steal planes ect. Would be great. Also one more thing, The spirit jars, whenever I open one, I always get the same thing. It pisses me off waiting 8 hours for a spirit jar to be ready to open then kaboom! I have the same thing, You might as well change that? Also of unlocking cars and other mobile vehicles. Why can’t you just buy them? That makes life a lot easier instead of opening a hundred spirit jars and waiting to get lucky and then you get everything you once had. So please? May you fix or add some of the features/stuff in the game? It would make this game a lot more popular. Thank you for reading this.

Massive amount of bugs and ads. This game would be fine if it didn’t have so many bugs. The latest 1 that caused me a problem is that if you have a fully upgraded item and participate in the events that happen, if that item is a potential prize and u land on that prize, it will remove your fully upgraded item for a lvl 1 item. It has existed a long time. I went on forums to report this months ago but for whatever reason they dont let me post even though i made an account, idk if its because its a new account, but i could only reply to posts and that has never changed. Bit either way, this bug along with many others are very obvious bugs that need to be fixed. But now that i have played the game a while, i had a fully upgraded 4 star motorcycle... a motorcycle was a prize in the event and it was replaced with a lvl 1 4 star motorcycle. I immediately closed the game to post here and im deleting it after i finish. Along with the massive amounts of bugs there are many forced ads... games with ads u are forced to watch are always questionable as to how long it will be enjoyable. And these ads can be long without the ability to close some until its over and some ads cause problems... u can watch ads for certain prizes and i do that sometimes, but being forced to watch ads randomly is never a good sign. So basically im done with the game after the bug affected my game significantly, it was fun to get on a couple times a day but in the end its problems will make u stop playing.

My complaints. I would be fine with the wanted level if cop couldn't find you in a matter if seconds, and I'm fine with the amount of cops when i'm just wandering around, but when i'm doing a mission and I need to lose the cops, i'm being chased by several dozen of them. It isn't helped by the fact that none of the cars have any traction, so when I make turn I slow down, the cops catch up and i'm forced to drive for another solid five minutes before i'm out of range again. An example of this is the mission where you have to "take pickles off the menu" , and the start of that mission is just atrocious, every one takes way too little damage, and my med kits and bulletproof vest get eaten up way to easily in pretty much any mission that has a large crowd of enemies, and so far the upgrades to increase your health and defense haven't done me any good. I'm trying to like the game, but it's difficult when i'm reintroduced to my problems with this game almost every other mission.

I enjoy it and I think you will too. I didn’t play this one nearly as much as Gangster Vegas—which you should also try—but mostly my reason for doing that was graphics, they’re both pretty versatile titles, especially considering this is mobile. I think a big problem people encounter is not understanding that, as a mobile game, it needs to be respected as its own class of games, due to the entirely unique control layout I think it’s unfair to simply make your review “it isn’t as good as GTA” because obviously it won’t compete with the name brand title that has been around for a decade longer. But all things considered, I can easily put this on my list of top mobile games. Easily. Call of Duty: mobile, Gangster Vegas, Gangster New Orleans, Minecraft. These are all amazing titles that you should feel no shame in trying.

Love this game but.... I really enjoy this game, and have already put in about $10 of optional in-app purchases within the three whole days I’ve played this. Having just finished my first house upgrade, I went back to see what changed and the app will no longer open. I reached out to support, who suggested the same troubleshooting tips 3 times in a row over the course of two days, and then told me that the are not updating this app anytime in the near future due to demand for other future releases and recommended I try another game by them (which baffles me, considering the three-year-older Vegas had an update three days ago). Having spent a decent amount of money so far, I’m extremely disappointed that there was no fix for the game that crashes before I can open it and that the only solution is “search our studio on the app store and try out another one” with a promise of a “boost of in-game currency” for the app i do choose to download. Extremely disappointing, especially considering I also lost my log-in bonuses as well.

Could be 5 Stars.. I love this game don't get me wrong. It's a solid environment GTA clone game. Its really good trust me. You can be pimping in your Katori in the projects or be racing in the rich neighborhoods. Its good but... it needs more to do in free roam. It would be cool if you could interact with stores. And in stead of unlocking the cars and weapons and money you could just get money for yourself because I personally don't like the turf idea. I like the free roam. So I feel you guys should add a couple stores you could go in and be able to rob or just go in and there be a person there. And multiplayer would be amazing. Maybe make it to be separated, like maybe $20 bucks to get multiplayer in free roam. That would be so fun. And I want more clothing that is serious. I like actually having cool realistic clothing. And last but not least more customization and interactive things in your houses and cars. I would like to be able to have a choose of my liking of music as a radio like Vegas. It would be very good. And be able to choose rims and paint jobs and wheels and stuff like that. I know its a lot to ask but this game could go crazy to the point where you could make it go for being paid for. The game Saints row 4 SHOULD have been!. This game is AWESOME (as are MOST Gameloft games)! This company SHOULD be making games for the TV game systems, they are SO good at making these mobile games with MINIMAL memory/resources, I’d LOVE to see what they could do with a 100GB game on PS4! This looks, runs, plays exactly like a game like this SHOULD, even better really considering I’m on a medium grade device (iPad6 base model). The story, characters, & overall “feel” of this game remind Me of Saints Row 2 (the all time BEST sandbox story mode game to date). It may take a little more memory then those BAD wannabe GTA clones in the store, but it’s actually BETTER then playin the old Rockstar ones for the 100th time, & better then MOST of those PSP/game boy GTA games they have in the store (i.e. Liberty city stories/Chinatown wars, etc.). If You want a GREAT game get this, or the other free Gameloft game in Vegas... If You have the cash, even get the pay $ 1s Gameloft made, as those are even better! All, & all this is My favorite one though (I haven’t gotten the pay 1s yet, so I’ve only tried the 6 free GTA clones in the store, Big city online 2 is “okay”, but pales in comparison to this, & Vegas by Gameloft)!

Good but needs a lot of work to make the game better. I really love the game where you can be on a high speed chase or doing races or being kinda a hitman but the mission where you kill the monster thing for money I feel like no people should be there and cars do that you can just have that and it makes it frustrating when your fighting it and you accidentally kill like 6 people during it and you are getting chased down by the cops and when ever you want to like get more diamonds there should be like daily races for those when like if you get like 1st place you get 500 diamonds and I know that seems like a lot but we can do many upgrades instead of waiting for like 5 weeks to get 50 diamonds if you cloudless fix and add these thing I will give a higher rating but currently it is a 2.5 rating

I love the game. Gangster New Orleans is very very very fun but there’s one problem I have with it it’s the fact that you can’t go and rob stores for money now I understand that’s probably a very very bad question but can you please fix this I would love to be able to get money without Hafton to go around taking out the high-value targets because they’re so hard to find but overall I love the game I wish that you could make the airplanes easier To get as in like being able to get them in the open world like you can other cars motor bikes and four wheeler’s but I would love to be able to get the airplanes and is it the helicopters in the open world and just be able to fly goes just like make a helipad well two can you also please fix this even if it’s just one a helipad I would love to have that I also would love to have like runway for airplanes that you can get in the open world. But overall I absolutely love your game I just want you to fix those bugs. I mean if I could I would rate this game 1 million stars trust me I really would. I Love your game

Good. But could be better.... First off, Gameloft makes some of the best mobile games out there! And most of them are free! This review isn’t all rants or complaints. .. However, most of these games suffer 3 things in common: Glitches, Bugs, & finding ways to get you (the consumer) to buy something. But the fact that most of these games are free compensates these problems. Most of the time... For this game, it is very fun, addicting, easy to understand & adapt and visually beautiful! Gameloft has definitely outdone themselves in terms of open world games with this one! But once you keep on playing, the flaws start to show itself more and more. From your character getting stuck to walls, to being randomly teleported if you hit the right obstacle such as a trash can or bush, to the game itself glitching out on your purchases or points or even messing with your inventory. This is something I hope the developers will fix for each update being made down the line... As it does start to get annoying. Overall, this is a fun game! No where near Rockstar GTA level, but it is half way there! But once they do decide to step up their game, Gameloft will eventually dominate the mobile game market.

Good but..... This game is actually pretty good for a mobile game. I like the graphics the map is huge and the combat is fun. Overall good game. Except for one thing. The way you get gear is super dumb!!!!! Instead of no shops, you have to earn a jar thing that gives you a CHANCE to earn a mediocre item at most. Gameloft, please for the love of god actually put a shop like in the Vegas ganstar. It would make the game less of a grind and allowing people to buy the stuff they actually want. That would make a lot of people happy. I’ve actually became uninterested in playing because their was nothing new and exciting to have fun with. Don’t get completely rid of the spirit jars. All I’m saying is to let people save up for something not a chance for it. Despite this, this is a great game and I still love playing it. Keep making good games!🤩

Decent but a huge Time Consumer. Games like these that combine the sandbox/open world style with a mission based storyline (think GTA) are supposed to be time wasters but the level of time consumption in this game is absolutely ridiculous. It’s as if they do want you (the player) to be playing the game and instead be waiting, bored, for your spirit jar to be available for opening. It’s absolutely ridiculous and angers me tremendously. 8hours to open what essentially is a pack to get mediocre weapons and gear? I understand that some spirit jars are able to be opened instantly, but they either require 200 gems, most of which you pay for, a 30 second ad or previously have opened up to 30 other spirit jars. The acquisition of gear is this game is quite atrocious as the method above is the only way to get guns, thugs and cars. There should be some quest rewards that include weapons, spirit jars, thugs and cars and spirit jars should be able to be opened instantly.

Great game but... Don’t get me wrong this game is absolutely amazing. The graphics and the long range of items you can get and also the map. But here’s something you should fix. You know how cars spawn like not far from you probably like how close you are to the road. Do that with helicopters because usually when I spawn a helicopter it’s like 200 meters away. So make it spawn like in front of you or you spawn in it. Secondly influence and control. I had got all the unlocked turfs and then they started to get influence back and the weird thing is i was at very low influence even though I had raided them. Also make it to where you can end the rebels and you gain full control.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE REVIEWS ABOUT FREE ROAM. To be honest, everything that I’ve seen from the reviews about free roam is true. You need to put more effort into it. Here’s a few things you need to change, but trust me, you should look at everyone else’s reviews, they already captured exactly what I want to say, and we all agree that you should put more effort in free roam. - vehicles (not able to purchase them) - killing (is that all we do?) - NPCs (we should interact with them instead of always pointing a gun in their face) - glitches (no one actually said this, but for me whenever I change my name, exit and re enter the app, it WILL NOT LET ME HAVE IT CHANGED PERMQNENTLY. It’s VERY annoying) - robbing/stealing/buildings (Okay, everyone agrees we should rob stores for money. It’s definitely a way to increase your game’s likeliness/popularity) - police (why are the always faster and ALWAYS SHOOTING, like an arrest option instead of always “injured” would be great, and adding a jail could make you top tier) Thanks for listening, please reply, I am a dedicated Gameloft Gangstar games fan, and I really want to see this noticed as I sincerely LOVE your games.

Please see this. amazing game however for the next game can you add more gangster Vegas type faces because here it’s too cartoony and add offline mode and have areas with more lux cars and places more poor. Also please add a military base and also plead adjust the storyline and most importantly give back the ability to punch and kidnap also allow us to restart the game and add newer cars. Can you make things stop spawning and de-spawning also give more radio options. This was rushed.

Great but major problem. So I’ve been playing for ages but recently when a ad appears it donut let you leave the ad so you have to reload the game every time you go into missions or the map and it’s very annoying but overall great game would recommend it

Could be improved. First off, the graphics are way better than Gangster Vegas and the fact that you can own a house is impressive. BUT, there’s no offline mode! Unlike gangster Vegas, you ha e to have WiFi to be able to play. plz fix this but overall, it’s a really good game and a slight improvement on gangster vegas

OFFLINE MODE NEEDED!!!. I love this game so much, even more than Gangstar Vegas. Everything in New Orleans is better than Vegas except for one thing. And that is offline mode. On Gangstar Vegas you can play the game while offline!!! However this feature doesn’t exist on New Orleans. I wish you would add this feature to the game, even if it just means that we can only drive around the city, hit pedestrians and get chased by the cops. If this gets implemented then I will change my rating to 5 stars and this will be my favourite game. Thank you, I hope you take my review seriously and fix this issue.

Amazing but.... Overall this game is absolutely amazing and an awesome free alternative to GTA. The only problem is there ain't no cheats at least hide the cheats well so not that many peeps find them. Other than that it's a truly incredibly fun open world game and I love it

Great game, I love the new update of the island but.... This game is great and all, I like how u can display ur weapons in the armoury and stuff. I can't get over how great of an idea it was to make the island. But I wish there was a Melee slot and a fist slot. I know it's unlimited ammo, but it's just weird when ur holding out a gun in the public. So please consider. It also needs offline I don’t get why u need online it bugs me. Amazing…..But 4 suggestions for an update. The 1st you should do is put as a 6th star when you are being chased by the cops military tanks, missiles and aeroplanes and the 2nd thing is make a mode where you can play multiplayer and the 3rd thing is you need to add a button where you can take photos in the game in case you want to take a photo with out your character in it the 4th thing you should do is make the items in the shop to buy clothes for your character cheaper. and about the ads there’s sometimes one where it doesn’t take me back to the game after it’s done. Update. You should be able to kidnap people like pick them up off the side of the road. And when you get stuck by the police you should have a tab saying drop weapon or something. Then you should go through the whole court thing and be sent to prison to escape or something. Oh say your walking on the streets you should be able to point the gun at someone but tell them to follow you to your car like it’s a kidnaping

Dear Gameloft. My iphone X runs this with around 30fps and 10fps during intense fights. Needs a online connection to play. Gameloft is all about money now. In GS vegas, they reduced the amount of gems rewarded to players during events, and reduced the values on all cars so that vehicles like MC4 can not be sold for 0.88mil every 30mins using a refreshing bug they cant fix. In this game, they introduced waiting time for jars to open along with ads. They did optimised screen for Iphone X users to appeal modern and fixed various bugs, but i hope they do understand how crucial a good gaming experience is to modern gaming. Mobile game is going to the biggest gaming platform in the future, and currently introducing more and more computer and console quality game compatible on mobile devices. I loved this company and I want to see more games like Asphalt 5, Real football and Gangstar Rio that once ruled over App store. Innovation and Change; Thank you Gameloft.

Best game ever played but........ Hya gameloft I love this game but one mission is so hard. It’s called high dive and this mission is so hard to complete because the cops every time kills me again and again and again and again and it’s so annoying pls fix the cop’s aggression. Tnx

Better Than Gangster Vegas. Better voice acting. Better storyline. Nostalgic comebacks such as E-Man (in order for the comebacks to make sense, get the first game BEFORE the second instalment. It is worth it in the end, highly recommend it. Except, there’s just ONE problem. It is an online game. But I am still giving it 5 stars because the first one is an offline game so you can play that when you have no wifi :)

Awesome!. This is an awesome GTA based games and I have finished the story. however I wish you add a system where you assign your thugs as your squad to roam around the city and help you fight the gangs and police.

Hmmm. The game is really fun and enjoyable and there are hardly any bugs and it is also almost clean there is like only three swear words in the story but I feel like the graphics should be a bit better they are pretty good but they do need an update

ADDS😩😠. Look, I know that this is a on going issue these days(not just this game) but every single GAME! Almost everything about this game is pretty decent (game play). But when ADS play I can’t X out of them when they finish😡. I have to restart the hole game to ✌️✊play✊✌️(really tap some buttons in game)even when I do that, there will be a ad waiting unpatiently with just a few taps on my screen. Even the ads them selfs are messed up. Not the content... well😬🙄, but the size of the ADDS they won’t even fit (as in the hole entirety of my screen). Look I really enjoy playing the game(tutorial) buut the ads ugghhh😩 or at least make it so I can exit the ads(to play the dam game)! P.S I’m not a hatter of the game (as I said), please fix bugs!

Please fix. Hey Gameloft, there's a problem with the game at the moment. Whenever you raid someone from the map, straight away, they raid against you and they always recover their turf again. Its really unfair. Please fix, also there are some bugs with Auto-fill for turfs. PLEASE FIX THIS.

This is way better than your other game. You know that game you made, the Gangstar Vegas one? This one is WAYYYYYYYYYYY better, first, the graphics is better, the controls are a bit smoother, and when you take cover, you actually, how do I say this, take cover properly. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that sometimes you can’t actually parkour over things properly, so could you add a actually jump button instead of using sprint? Ok that’s allowed

REALLY GOOD but.... I think the game is extremely good I think it’s perfect it’s fun I can play it for hours but the one thing I really do NOT like is that with the special events you have to be a certain level to do it. You shouldn’t have to be forced to be level 7 on your boat for example you should be able to do it because lots of people who play the game are going to miss the opportunity to win some really valuable items but they can’t because of the levels. And I know you can upgrade but it is extremely expensive and your not always going to get a price offer to lower the price. Like it’s costing me upwards of 350 gems just upgrade something that’s 3 stars! In my mind that’s insane and people shouldn’t have to forced to buy gems just so they can do the event. They should do the level and if they can’t then so be it. Also so many people can do it anyways most people can do the special events activities without needing to upgrade their things. You don’t need like a level 7 boat to do a race. Most people will be able to easily do the activities at the lower levels and it’s more challenging to do it that way. I really hope Gameloft reads this because this is making me miss out and really great things and even though there is a chance you can win them with keys it’s still not guaranteed.

A few changes. Your game is awesome, but you should add some changes. Firstly why can’t your character talk in the game, in Gangstar Vegas Jason could talk, so why can’t you talk in gangster New Orleans? Secondly why can’t you use your fist, In gangster Vegas you can Use your fist so why not in gangster new Orleans Thirdly You should really add online multiplayer. I really want to play it with my friends. Lastly you need offline mode!

Good game. It’s a really good game and I recommend but I have some recommendations. 1. Make it so you can play in a world with other players online 2. Remove the ads that just pop up when you exit the game and go to the map. It was a really fun game until you added that and now it’s just like any other mobile game that a new ad just pops up every three seconds 3. Make it so that you can go into buildings and rob stores for cash 4. Make a gun shop where you have to buy ammo and you can buy guns and health packs and grenades 5. Amazing game. It’s really good but the low amount of energy is really a pain because 20 energy is nothing so in the next update or something plz have 100 energy at least because the low amount of energy is annoying 1 more thing plz increase amount of money earned in missions or just in general because getting money is extremely difficult

Waste of time. This game is trash all pay for play through the whole game if your not willing to pay don’t even download it you looooong waiting time for even the the first items that you even get !!! Unless you spend all your gems to open them fast ...(yea one of those ones ).... even if you do get something good there is nothing to do no pvp action or anything just stupid boring same misstions over and over again

It needs offline mode and multiplayer. This game is really good with all the graphics and weapons and other stuff but I want multiplayer a thing man and dude come on what is wrong with have it not multiplayer you can make a room so friends can join and make polices chase you and your friend and also I want to go inside building and houses cause you can’t be a Gangsta if you don’t rob banks casinos and other stuff mate and also my mother turns off my wifi and I get bored when I don’t get wifi and I didn’t know that gangstar is a offline game and a online game at the same time but instead it’s online online man which is really kinda silly cause other games sometimes you do not need other friend s to help you like coverfire it is a game that you do not need other people and plus a single player game and in this game you don’t play with other people you only make stories and we just play on a map and that’s it why can’t we do that only on offline and if ur offline you can’t chat and watch ads to make things quicker and stuff but please just make this game be offline and have multiplayer and don’t make me delete this game man even though I love it dude

Ads. This game is amazing but there is one problem it’s the ads we should only get ads when we buy something from the store and I’m getting ads when I open the app and when I open the map for the first time, but other than that the game is awesome 😁

Great game needs a few things added. For instance I think it would be cool to have melee weapons and a thing where u can use fist also I would love if u added store that we could rob and/or add heist we can do a little often also plz add a multiplayer feature I would love to be able to walk around free Rome and see other players also plz make a First Person feature because that would make the game look way better

It’s amazing, what here is a suggestion of what they should add. They should add a shop in the game where you can buy guns and clothes because I think it will be fun to drive there instead of going out to the Home Screen (in the game) and doing it from there, i believe it will be more fun to drive there.

Amazing game, however.... It is a very good game, however there is one problem. After playing the entire story, the game closed. I reopened it and on the loading screen, it always stops at server 23 out of 80 and tells me to check internet connection (which is connected) and try to check back at a later time. The problem has been going on for 3 days, I even tried downloading it again, and that didnt work. Please fix this problem because it wrecks the whole game.

This game is pretty awesome I think it’s just better than Vegas even though that one was a great game as well I love the art style of the graphics but I ran into a problem with the graphics they don’t look that great on my device and my device was just released recently so I expected it look better I hope that it will be fixed in future but over all a fantastic game

SO addictive. The second I downloaded this app and started playing the first mission I just couldn’t stop playing! Firstly the cop chases are so good because they are pretty much the same as the chases in gta 5 and 4 plus they are so realistic like in real life!! Secondly the story missions are really well made like bank robbery mission and the mission where you kill the duke. Thirdly the new orlands map is super fun to explore and discover! So in conclusion the game is really well made and if you can’t get the gta series just download this game its really fun to play and you will enjoy it.

Offline mode. Please please please!!! Make this game be played offline. I really love this game and I like playing it on multiplayer but can you please make this game also be playable offline as well? You see I told some of my friends about this game and since they loved playing Gangstar Vegas they were so excited when I told them about Gangstar New Orleans the only problem is when I told them this game could only be played online they were disappointed. Please make this game be playable offline and I’ll be able to tell my friends the good news. Keep up the good work.

NEED OFFLINE MODE. I love this game instead of paying $10 for GTA you can just get this for free although I really want to play this offline. For example my friend owns a house in the country sometimes we go on holidays there but it has no wifi so we can’t play. Other than that the game is amazing. It is the best game on my phone.

Good game but can’t do this one thing. This game is a great game definitely beats gangster Vegas the only thing you didn’t beat them in is the story line. I finished the game in a few hours and all I did was side missions or turf missions. I’ve tried to restart the game so I could play it from the start again but I can not. Please add more. So I’ve been playing this game for weeks now and it’s REALLY fun, But what I really want is you developers to add gun stores in free play and more. And I would really like you devs to add shop robbing and I would really like you to add fuel for the cars so you have to refill the cars in the gas stations

Can’t connect to server. The game was fun but getting some of the weapons and upgrading private mansion was a bit challenging, but I was still able to get the things I wanted. The only problem I have is that every time I try to enter the game it says connecting to server and it goes to 62/80 and then it glitches back to 23/80 and stays there so I can’t get into the game please fix and I will give 5 star. This has annoyed me for so long now and I want to play the game! Other then that the game was fine.

GameMann. Fix the turf system. The turf system is rigged. I’m raiding a turf, and when I finish raiding, it’s somehow reclaimed by the guy I was raiding in the first place. Also, make it offline. The fact that we have to check our turfs 24/7 because there is a chance that the in-game character and other players might claim your turf is really annoying

Here’s a warning. I’ve been having an issue since late 2019. The game just wouldn’t load on my iPad. It would just take me to the loading screen and keep loading and trust me, I’ve waited for a while maybe even hours.

I can’t do a thing. The game started off well but then I deleted it but after a while I got it back and when I got in I was stuck on the map and something about some kinda heist and I could only move around the map with two fingers and nothing else BUT I could get out of offers the game gives me. Good game but... The game is really nice but it needs way more features, maybe add like a military base so if you trespass you will get wanted and add helicopters/planes/boats that are useable because it will make multiple ways to escape police, and you could also add building where you can actually go inside and interact with npcs for in game quests or like a hitman job, it probably could be to much but take as much time you can have and make this game really good! Hope you decide to add this stuff in the future.

More Police and Military support. For next update, please include in more Police Helicopters with sniper SWAT Officers attaching you, along with Military Helicopters and tanks coming after you when wanted level gets higher. Also have SWAT Officers equipped with riot Sheila’s to make it harder to fight during shoot out situations, and SWAT snipers too.

Hands to fight. The game is almost perfect, cause I want to be able to walk around empty handed like an options of just your fists

It’s alright. It’s fun but once you get ads it’s non stop when you open the menu, map, store, inventory or even open the app right away there is an ad. Then after a mission there is an ad, I check the quests and achievements then I get an ad. Too many ads to actually enjoy the game. I tried to get high points for mayhem, then an ad ruined my streak. Some of the controls are not working properly I was trying to shoot the rpg/other launcher weapons and it wouldn’t shoot.

WAY TO MANY BUGS. I couldn’t even play the first mission with out having to close the app and re open it ever time I try to move or do anything. It also gets stuck after the first spirit pot and flashes black and white and makes a weird sound

Diamons. There needs to be a better way to get diamonds other than get 3 for watching a 30 second ad, because i want to upgrade my house but i need 230 diamonds, so i have to watch almost 90 ads, which is 40 hours of advertisements. I love this game. The game is amazing so much different stuff to explore, the only problem is that the things that you buy, clothes, the thing when you die you can revive are to expensive. Like one of the clothes costs 400 diamonds, that is a lot but besides that this game is great, amazing and so much adventures.

Needs updates. There is some serious changes that need to be made to your game, like the ad problem and lack of updates. When I first downloaded the game and played it for awhile there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with it and it wouldn’t play any ads unless I chose to watch them voluntarily, until I started noticing that it would show them abruptly left right and centre, even in the middle of gameplay which I couldn’t believe was real. I previously left a thorough review describing this problem and got no response from any of the Gameloft reps, it seems like this game is being left behind yet meanwhile their last game Gangstar: Vegas is much older and is still being updated. It doesn’t make sense that they would leave a game they made to be a lot better than its predecessor, when it has so much potential. I would really like a response to this with more updates to the game, as it was once one of my favourites to play as an open world concept game. Please take the time to understand and consider this feedback and resolve this in the best way possible so many players can get back into enjoying this mobile masterpiece seamlessly.

Good game, decent stuff. I love the game. The cartoony open world vibes mixed with crime is just a good combo. For the most part, the graphics are really good, and there’s a nice variety of weapons and vehicles. The missions could be a little better but that’s fine. The main reason why I rated it 4/5 stars are the ads... like any other game. This game doesn’t shove ads in your face as much as others do, so they deserve credit for that, but everytime i load up the free roam, i get an ad in my face. Some of them glitch and can’t close. It basically narrows down to every time I open the map, I get an ad.

Help or don’t,idk why I expected more. I played this game a while ago and decided to get it again and was happy and was actually able to beat the game even though how short it was and was able to get good cars and the best guns in the games and my month of playing has been normal but I would get notifications that every 10 minutes that my daily jar would be able to open i knew that it wasn’t and it would always say when I would go to the jar store”video unavailable” so I didn’t think much of it but the first time I pressed on the notification I though I would get sent to the App Store just be restarted and on the first mission again and all those ads where for nothing

DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME!. I cannot stress enough, do NOT waste your money on this game. I have three reasons. The first is this game is boring as all get out. You have to keep repeatedly doing the same missions just to keep your businesses. Sounds like a perfect idea for a video game, just keep doing the same scenario over and over. My second reason is you pay for nothing. I have spent over $30 on those packs and still continue to get stuck in the game before game loft tries to make you buy another. Trust me you get know where with gamelofts packs, they just get you far enough to buy their next pack. Finally the game glitches the whole time you play it after a while. Forget about actually driving cars, all this game looks like as far as graphics is just a series of photos. The game is slow, the buttons glitch, and the imagery is just awful.

iphone 5c glitch. I have a iphone 5c and I re downloaded it after the update, which i really wanted to play the game. After the loading screen passed it was telling me to smuggle a car i did and then it told me about how i could smuggle some guns. After i tapped the okay button i couldn't tap on any icons or the the x in the top left. so i was just stuck on the menu screen and couldn't go do anything and i tried reloading the game but i still couldn't do anything i tried deleting and reinstalling but it just told me about smuggling again and still wouldn't let me tap anything. please fix this

Make A Gangster USA. Hi creatures you’ve done a good work on this game. Let’s see if you can step it up a notch. Try making a gangster USA. So like you make all of the states put in all the city and places in the state and you can drive to different states and make a time to see how long it is from like caper Wyoming to Fort Wayne Indiana in game 10 minute drive and you can fly planes and you can go in planes and there is a captain so if you want to go to vacation and you have jobs and you can buy houses,motel or hotel. Please make this. If you guys make this you guys inspire me.

Missing out on missions. Ok, so I’ve been playing for quite a long time and I can honestly say that I enjoy playing this game a lot. Recently however, I have encountered a problem that I’m not sure if anyone else is experiencing and it caused me to miss out on the barons return missions. Every time I try to play ANY of the missions, my character will not move. You can’t walk, shoot, or pause the game, but the timer keeps on going. This is very frustrating, especially since I had to miss out on the Halloween quests. Still don’t know if anyone else has encountered this problem, but I hope you guys can figure out what is wrong and fix it soon. Thank you.

Gameloft’s discord server is helpful. So I redownloaded this game because I seen that it had new content after I deleted it after a month when it first came out on the App Store. And when I open this app it opened me to the map where it introduces me to the smuggling business. But after I claim the reward I cant get out of the map to play the game. I can move the map but the buttons onscreen don’t work as well So plz help it would be nice to be able to play this game again After I contacted the Discord server’s dev he helped me become able to play this game again. All he needed was what server I was on and my profile ID in my settings.

Stoped working. I’ve been playing the game for about 3 weeks then this happened. Enjoyable game, would like to see a few things added. I find this game really fun and it’s a great stress reliever to just get in and drive around for a bit, but there are a few things I’d like to see added. The cop helicopters don’t show up, and I also think there should be an option to just purchase weapons or vehicles instead just of trying to get them from jars. I’ve open many jars and still don’t have a decent amount of the items from previous turfs. I’d also like to see car customization, and maybe an online open world server where you can play with other people. Overall it’s a good game and I hope you guys keep adding to it.

Need to debug it soon. As a player of Vegas , I pretty like the new gangster .However , the scene is somehow less realistic than Vegas, and I can’t switch the broadcast while I’m driving. The main reason I gave three stars is because there are bugs in the game. I got stuck at a mission , probably called the ghost showing up or whatever . It’s a mission to save Linda from the zombies. After finishing killing all of the zombies , it should have some kind of option to drive Linda’s car, but unfortunately it just continued to let me kill those enemy with no zombies left. Hope you can debug soon. Other settings are perfect .

Where’s multiplayer?! It’s 2021 Do Better!?. This game is great overall. But it gets boring and repetitive quickly. Where is multiplayer? Also more interactive with houses than just walking around would be nice! Add a weather system! Add animals like birds and crocodiles! Maybe add mini social events around the map like marti gra! Add a chop shop?! Add more customization to vehicles! Add a friend/ gift system! Make the open world more interactive!? Overall map feels empty and people seem not interactive and zombie lifeless and repetitive? How about add gang members or crew members to drive around with!? Maybe add a HD graphic’s that seem just like Gangstar Vegas! Gameloft you know better to put more emphasis into your games. Don’t leave them half done and profit from older gangstar releases.

It really good but.... Let’s say this first of all the game is amazing nice story missions but... there are problems that I really have with the game but before we get to that, I have a question why is it even online 🧐🧐 Iam ok with the game but why online look gangster Vegas is offline it will be better online. Only if you can play with other people. But you can’t. Now back to gangster New Orleans If it’s online then you have to be able to play with other people right??? Correct Review. Previous review was unfortunately heavily impacted by unfavorable circumstances. The truth is the game has enormous potential, and has active updates. There must have been a client side error as moments after review the video for energy returned after restarting the game. The push back to 50 diamonds are too bad but after much consideration I have concluded very little of the game is only available to non free players hence the game is not pay 2 win. The previous review, even under its circumstances, was unfair and uncalled for. The game is not perfect but it is not finished so I look forward to its future.

Fantastic game but.... The game is great but in my opinion it's to hard to get experience to level up, get diamonds, and money the only way to get diamonds is through the achievements but if you made it so that you can get them from gold spirit jars that would make it better and I love this game don't get me wrong but the way your handling the spirit jars only able to open them after 1-3 hours is crazy you should just make it how it was in the beginning of the games existence where you can open as many as you want right after you earn them instead of the way it is now.

Pretty good game but a few things could be added. This game is great, but there are a few things that could make it a lot better. 1. Multiplayer. I think this game would be perfect if I could just play with my friends 2. Change skin color. When I first started this game I accidentally picked the wrong skin color thinking I could change it later. I wish I could change my skin color and character 3. Yellow Gallopino. I have the Gallopino car in the game, the one that kinda looks like a Lamborghini. Sometimes when I spawn this car it is yellow, and looks totally awesome. Y'all should add yellow as one of the color choices for that car 4. Police come to your house. In the game if you are being chased by the cops and choose to go to your mansion, all of the cops disappear. I think it would be cool if the cops showed up at your house and you could do a shootout These few things would make the game just so much better in my opinion. Thanks!

Game has potential. Lost all my progress with the collection option for unlockables I spent time and diamonds on....... every time I click a turf boss my phone crackles and crashes!!!!! I can’t even drive my thornback on star missions for races:( looks like y’all really dropped this game..... it was so Awsome competition attack base setups for turf against other real ppl.... all it was missing was pvp defend your turf against real ppl again or at least somewhat.... if y’all picked it up again I would invest good money. If not I’m going to delete this jewel I invested so much in which have hopes you would pick back up and polish

This is a pointless question. But are we ever going too see another update for gangstar New Orleans ever again. This is an awesome game and I’ve been playing since it came out and I got the pre-lunch rewards too, my progress has been halted by the lack of things to explore or do and the lack of more items to collect. I would love to see new vehicles added in, preferably a vehicle based off of a Dodge Challenger and a different vehicle based off the new Ford Mustang, I would also love to see the collections brought back with the craft able items.

This game was supposed to be after Gangstar Vegas?. I was disappointed in Gangstar NOLA i was looking fwd to it and while the graphics and the controls were an improvement the reason for my one star is they sacrificed story narrative. Gangstar Vegas had a nice story narrative that drew you in to the game and your main playable character, a Southie named Jason was likable and kind of had a Ray Donovan feel to him. Yet on NOLA, your main character doesn’t speak and I I was bored. Geez, there was so much potential in the franchise, why didn’t you guys hire actors for voice and MOCAP and writers to write a driving narrative. So i just deleted the game. If you just want to play bang bang shoot up the town then fine but im sorry NOLA version not for me. Gangstar team you should have brought Jason and Karen to NOLA and then you would have had a winning game. Just my suggestion.

Great game but.... I am loving this game and haven’t stoped playing it but there are some thinks that need to be fixed. The main problem Is that I have an iPhone and sometimes it acts as though the screen is to short... for example the buttons will be half off of the screen making it hard or impossible to press. I have not been able to equip a new gun because the equip button is to low on the screen so it overlaps with the category buttons and I cannot press equip. If this bug was fixed it would have absolutely rated 5 stars. Developers please make sure to take note of this and fix it in the next update, thank you.

A few things to look better. I like this game a lot It’s wonderful.. all features expected of the Expansive things in it like if I wanna dress anything I have to pay a large price of diamonds or money for it and it’s too hard to get diamonds easily…plus there is no night club in the game or casinos just like the thing that exist in gangster Vigas .. I used to see gangster vigas is the greatest ever even so on that I like this game there’s no doubt that it’s cool game and there’s huge map in .. and I can go to a lot of places . So please if you found that’s interesting add these simple things to the game and fix it to look much more better than any of games Thanks! ;)

Please Do what IM saying. This game is nice and steady for mobile but IF you could rob banks and stores it would be a lot more fun also add something so you can play with your friends and you should add more missions instead of leaving it on a cliff hanger also you really need to add more clothing to the store. Sense this is a GTA for mobile you should have an online option. Also try to make so you can have money and actually get a job and instead of making a mansion you should be able to have your own house.i ask strongly you do a huge update including all these thing I have said so more people can love this game and get back into it!!!😉

Downgrade from previous games. Yes the graphics may be improved and gameplay feels a little smoother, but compared to “Gangstar Rio” and “Gangstar Vegas” the open world feels so dead and empty, almost zero personality, you’ll be driving and the place will be completely empty, the NPC’s never say anything and the cops are extremely dumb. I really wish they’d bring back “Gangstar Rio” which In my opinion is the best Gangstar game Gameloft has created, genuinely feeling like you are in the city of Rio and all the characters have personality and actually speak unlike the main character of this game. Please bring back the older Gangstar games or create a new one that has the same vibe and feel, there is so much potential with the graphics, you just need to implement those other elements.

Cool game. This game is fun, sometimes can be addictive. I play a lot just not the whole day and I only ask for the game to have a few more changes. The first one would be online multiplayer, it would make the game a whole lot more enjoyable. Second, there is a bank and a few dealerships, it would be cool if u could em. Third of all if u can be a cop and don’t add a lot of details like gta, which I’m saying gta is fun but don’t make this game exactly like it. I just want to add cops in it, so we can be cops. In the cop area u don’t need turfs or missions just arresting and stuff like that. This game is fun I’m just saying there can be a few updates. It deserves a good review too.

I wish I could enjoy this. Ok so I haven’t played the game ever since I had played when it first came out. I had deleted it to get room on my phone but a couple days ago i decided i wanted to play again. When i loaded it up I was excited. Then it introduces me to smuggling... can’t move map or do anything afterwards. Refresh app. Into to smuggling then can’t do anything. Refresh. Same thing happens, this needs to be fixed, idk why it’s happing but it’s a big problem. Any help would be appreciated Thank you

Amazing just some suggestions. Maybe you could add helicopters that you can ride and they have like guns on the sides to shoot also it would also be fun if you added a dog shop in which you could buy Dobermans & Rottweiler maybe in the black market or I don’t know and you could also make a rpg or really good guns shop also you could add something like when you start making chaos with the police and you beat soldiers and everything maybe you could add a commander of the cops team that has a lot of HP.

Awesome! but two problems.... This is one of the best games I’ve ever played, because you do have to do what the game tells you to, so you can do whatever you want like , I would of given this a five star rating, but reason why I didn’t is because after finishing the story and leaving the game shortly after I couldn’t join the game anymore, it would always crash no matter how many times I try. And a thought I had in mind is if online or pvp could be added as well, because in my opinion that would be twice as awesome. But in general this is one of the best mobile games I’ve played.

PLEASE. I know you guys have just made an update like a week ago but every time I try to load in, the game is still saying “request timed out, please check you connection or try again later” my connection is good, I tried a lot of times, now that leaves me with request timed out. Can you guys just fix this issue please, I tried to power off my phone and that didn’t work, I deleted the app and that didn’t work either, it’s the game, and I also play on an iPhone X so it’s my phone either. Just please all I ask from you guys is if you can fix this problem so me and other people can actually play this amazing game.

Coolio game. Could be some more ways to make money tho, also, maybe consider making it where we can steal jets? Also for the money idea it should be like gta 5 where you can rob the store and take the money from the cashier. Cuz what’s the point of a game that lets you enter a store but yet you can’t rob it? But yeah, consider this stuff and some things for other reviews and it should give us the gta 5 feeling. Oh, also I feel like giving the player infinity ammo just feels like a cheat. (I guess it makes sense since you have to give a noose or military officer a million bullets to be taken down.) Thanks for your time. :)

SO AWESOME. I really love this game its just like Saints row or GTA, and i also love that this big open world game is only like 1 GB and it works perfectly, but i just wanna point something out and i hope that the developers add this, In the game you can’t use your fists you always have to have sometype of gun in your hand, and that kinda annoys me and im pretty sure other people also think that it’s pretty disturbing, i hope that in a future update they add fists, like you have nothing in your hands, that would make this game flawless. I hope the developers read this and add that feature. But overall this game is LIT and keep up the good work.

Great game, a few comments.. This is a great inspiration of GTA, and a more family friendly version too! It would be great if you could play the story missions after completing them for free. There’s also a glitch that when a pop-up ad is shown, it mutes the audio and makes it so you can only do one thing at a time as your character and it doesn’t let you target on enemies. (move camera, sprint, move, shoot, etc). That’s all I have to say, great game to play!

It would be great. The game is good for a water down GTA. But you know copy’s can be good. Stealing Turk is great and the missions are enjoyable. Though when the army comes that’s when it gets boring because they don’t shoot when in the car. The missions are fun but get a little tedious. Though the story mode is great and there is enough for a good hours though I wish they give you more of it maybe they do I haven’t gotten to the end yet. The main cripe is that you can’t rob banks. I think that would make car chases so much fun. But the update does help with the getting stuck at a point when you can’t upgrade. So it’s helpful. Though I would like more from this game

Honest Review. Let’s start off by saying the game itself is fun. The missions are somewhat-hard and there’s only a little amount of them. I beat them all because I had a machine gun and rifle from the Christmas gift thingy, and please add more missions, make them harder. I also want there to be a thing where you can rob stores for money or just to gain a higher chance of getting a turf. The game is a bit repetitive so add more missions, this game has plenty of potential, OH and another thing, the ads are really annoyingggg it’s why I’m not rating it 5 stars. Hope this helps, I recommend this game to any people who like Action Games!

Great Game (One Big Problem). First of all I just want to point out that this game is outstanding! I’ve been playing it everyday until now. It’s been doing some weird where whenever I try and open the game, the loading screen goes to about 60 then back to 23. Then, a few seconds later it says “Connection timed out.”. My connection is extremely good and I’ve even tried opening the game in other locations, same thing is happening. Please fix this, I absolutely love this game and I wouldn’t want to stop playing it just because of some weird glitch, thanks.

Seems good, but... I was playing at work when I downloaded the game and loved the first mission of it. I am now stuck at the street racing mission though because my game is glitched out. When I click the race it tells me I needed a car so I went and opened a mystery jar and got a car, but then had to return back from my lunch break. After returning and clicking the race it tells me the same thing, so I click it, but there is no jar to open and I cannot click anything else on screen. I just have to close it out unfortunately. Hopefully there is a solution to this because I would gladly change it to a 5 star review.

Hot. Okay so the game is amazing, it has a great story, great graphics and everything is perfect but my phone gets very very hot when playing it and the battery drains unbelievably quick, and I have a quite capable phone (6s) at least for this game which supports the iPhone 5 too, I mean how is it possible when on the 6s is almost unplayable. Besides that, there’s no option to make the graphics a bit worse, and funny enough when low power mode is on the game says turn it off, say what!? I keep it always on when I play the game and I also charge it at the meantime because otherwise it’s impossible. Please let me know if there’s a way to fix this as I’m new in the game and I love the design of the game.

It’s missing some stuff. I been playing game I love it great graphics great map but if you can add some gang bangers in a territory if you guys can add 3 or 4 gangs that would be great also if we can join one that would be good also please add a online version for it it also needs a phone and add a new map if you can add more features that would be great ❤️ but I am looking forward too shops in map instead of doing it on pause menu please add some jobs like deliver pizza burger shop donkun donut Wendy’s McDonald’s also add some police jobs if you can add 3 more playable characters I would love the game much more but thanks for creating it I really love it it should have a military thank you.

Need to fix. I'm from New Orleans, and currently live in New Orleans. I feel like a lot of places, streets(a lot of streets that have street cars also), buildings, and areas in my city was left out the game, and even have buildings that are in the wrong spot on the map. I would like to see a real update showing the real New Orleans. I would also like to see just a few more settings and controls, other then that it's a awesome game! One more thing all the hoods( ghettos/projects) are not in the game basically the areas I grew up in or live in now is underwater on the game, that's something I didn't want to see in a New Orleans game

Good game. This a great gane but please can you add multiplayer local WiFi and online because it makes it a better experience modifications to vehicles would be amazing to you modify a vehicle to your taste and and two more things which are you begin able to save cars as your own what I mean by that when you steal a car on the streets you can still save it in your garage and if you do that it goes into your inventory and the last thing is adding first person this might sound crazy but it makes sense because right is the game the shooting experience is not that good. Save progress and errors. I will give this a four since when I play it keeps on repeating the character customization and when I am done playing the game and come back it repeats itself to when I customize before even though I change it, also when I kill a high value target and say it has 5,000$ dollars, before I had 6,000$ and now I had 11,000$ and when I come back it goes back to 6,000$, it doesn’t even save the money I got from the high value target, and when I try to buy any paint it say error and when I try to put thugs to do my missions it says error so I can barely do missions,buying, so pls fix this problem because I really like this game.

I've had this game before.. I've had this game before but now it won't let me download it. I have confirmed my age as the age or higher to play but it won't let me download it from the App Store. I do not know if it is a bug with this game or my device. I know this a thug/gangster game but could we add nicer cars at the beginning? And also can the player that we have already get a car before trying to steal somebody else's car, because sometimes it can take a while. Other than this the game is great. It just has a few bugs that could be fixed. Fix it and you might get the fifth star.

Connection Malfunction Fixed. I was happy to see that the connection error glitch was fixed so it could properly see my Internet connection. That way, I am able to enjoy this game again after over two years of not being able to play it. However, since there is still no way to walk around unarmed, I am giving this four stars. That is because a stray slip-up would accidentally raise a player's Wanted Level, so if you could add the option to walk around unarmed so a stray slip-up won't raise the Wanted Level by mistake, I will give this five stars. One of the best mobile games. So this game it’s really fun it does have a few glitches but other than that you do gangster missions you do a lot of stuff it’s really fun and I loved the other one I can’t remember it but it was another gangster game but I really like it I would give it a six star if I could it’s a really good game you should definitely get it if you consider shooting I really like it because I play GTA but it’s really good so I can see you trying it but ILove this game so much OK that was my interview

Good game but.... Look ok...i love this game but the only thing i hate about it is the lag thankfully. It rarely crashes me out of the game but i cant do racing missions because of the lag...see lag is created due to the games FPS, so can Gameloft please fix the lag or either that the FPS the game runs on, because if you dont people might complain about the same reason as well so can you guys fix the lag or the FPS please. Great game but this issue broke my heart. So I’m playing the. Game for like a month I think can’t remember how long and today about an hour ago I open the app and it takes 5 seconds to finish saying makeing it rain 6 seconds for breaking in recruits and when it says connecting to server it starts at 23% and then speeds up to 63% and then god back to 23% I’ve been trying to play for hours and my computor is broken so this is the only fun game I can play besides roblox but roblox is corrupted by account thief’s online daters spammers and all that please fix

Missed opportunity. I love this game so much. They should put the ability to buy vehicles instead of opening them in jars. I wish there was a better way to make money instead of $475 per 7 hours in the turfs. You should add planes and helicopters you can steal. You should allow the game to have other players in it. Other players are playing the game, but you can’t see them. Can you please resolve these issues. If you add and fix to the game, more and more people would play it and it would be so much more fun. You should also add the ability to rob the stores. You already have the stores and have cash registers, you just need to put cashiers and the ability to rob the stores.

Irritated. Can you guys please fix the bug where is keeps saying “request timed out. Please check your connection or try again later.” I’ve tried everything you could think of, everything, and nothing is fixing it. I’ve spent a lot of money on this game and this bug has been going on for a very long time and other people are also complaining about this bug and have also tried a lot of things as well. Please fix this and thank you.

Glitch After Glitch. Yes, this game is decent and has great gameplay mechanics however, what is pulling me away from this game is the amount of glitches it contains. I have tried opening a 12 hour spirit jar at least 3 times and it will start the timer and act like it is going to open and then 12 hours later I come back and the spirit jars timer just resets and the spirit jar will not open or even come close to opening. Another time, the game randomly decided to give me a bunch of super rare sports cars in my inventory. I couldn't believe my luck but maybe about an hour later I come back into the game and the cars they gave me are gone. The game just doesn't feel playable with all of these reoccurring issues.
