Search Bar Please. The art of throwing shade and delivering sass and attitude requires speed. You need to be able to find the appropriate pimp slap or Claire Huxtable eye roll as quickly as possible in order to be effective. Love this app but I need a search bar if I'm going to really keep using it. And I want to keep using it, because Ebroji gets me, it just gets me!!

Great but needs some improvements. I agree that a search option similar to what the iOS has would really improve the app.

Nice app for small results. It’s a really nice app, but the fact the gifs are tiny once added to text through iMessage is annoying. Let me know when they come back to regular size!

Love this, just needs a few more things. I love this app! It's so convenient to be able to copy and paste gifs in my messages, and hilarious as hell. I wish that I could search for a specific gif (kind of like on twitter) and I wish there were more options in what kinds of gifs (the different labels for sections). Otherwise, I enjoy it. Can't wait to get the update for iOS 10!

Needs more polish. It's cool, like y'all got the popular gifs and everything but they don't translate to all sites and why is there no search bar? Sometimes I need a particular gif and can't settle for just any old gif just cause it's there and it conveys the same message because there is no substitute for a Tiffany NewYork Pollard gif NONE!!! and I shouldn't have to scroll Forever to find it.

You guys have to find a way so we can post these on FB as is with all the motion (stickers) etc. It's a waste if we can't get the full usage out of this app on social media please fix it, plus add more motions (stickers) like Bye Felicia, Totally, Girl Please etc... come on fix this I so agree with POC by Lucciz isn't that's what the (Bro) is for in Ebroji?

*insert thumbs up GIF*. I can't believe I was downloading gifs from the web or tumblr and saving them in a folder on my phone before I discovered this. This is great! It's easy to use, the gifs are well-organized, and it's super entertaining because of the good variety. I only wish I could type in keywords to look up gifs or if they were also categorized by movie, tv show, or person. Sometimes I just want to use only Star Wars or Grey's Anatomy gifs, what can I say. Besides all of that I definitely recommend the app.

This app is great!. I learned of this app last week via podcast and it is free so I wanted to give it a shot. I have had friends and family cracking up from my messages. There are so many options and almost all of them are hilarious! I use What's App quite a bit and I wish that using these gifs were an option but besides that this is my now my fav

Please change your data collection policy.. I loved this app until I found out that they basically uses all access to your keyboard aka collects all of your data that you type in and habits you may have👎🏿👎🏿 which they inturn sell it to companies extra trash

The Glo-up is Real!. Standard emojis & simple words have never been able to fully convey my genius. These gifs are the Windex to the dusty windows of my soul. Finally, my wit and brilliance can fully shine through iMessage. My texts are living up to their full potential & I have Jesse Williams to thank for that. Thanks, #activistbae.

Love it...but. Why are the gifs so small now? I feel like ever since apple added the gif keyboard that ebroji is so much smaller when I send my gifs. Plz fix that

Great app but has been better!. I used to go out of my way to use this app on every message for the relevant content and the culture. But now it’s annoying how small the images are so it’s kind of useless.

UH-MAZING. This app has every gif I could ever ask for! It's super easy to us and navigate and there are so many to choose from that it makes all my group chats 100xs better! Before I would search gifs on the internet but this app makes it super easy and the categories are hilarious!

Listen, I rarely ever write reviews, mainly just because I'm too lazy to do it, but I mustered up the energy in my thumbs and gathered myself together to write a review for this app, because it is JUST that incredible!!!! Yeah, sure, I've had other apps that are just for gifs, but I have not had anything as simple and as easy to navigate as this! The creators of Ebroji were genius for putting this out, seriously! Love. I love the idea but I really really wish the keyboard has a search function. It takes awhile to find the perfect gif when you're in a conversation and have to browse through al the different categories to find what you need

This app has so much potential!!. I really hope whoever created this app is black. Lol! The only two things I would add to make this a primary keyboard would be: add an auto spell check and auto gif upload to your text.

Keeps crashing. This is my fave gif app and it’s crashing every two seconds!

GIF Game Strong. Before, I rarely used Gifs because I always had to save them to my camera roll and then go and find it. Now I can just pull it up thanks to the app. Sometimes it's glitchy, but I believe it's my phone, and not the app. Good Job Jesse + his wife. Amazing app. Everybody needs it.

Please fix bugs!. I love this app. Has perfect gifs for every occasion but now the app glitches while just searching for gifs and will default back to the keyboard I was on before switching to ebroji. It’s awful.

LOVE!!!. It seems like they fixed the bugs because when you were searching a certain category it would kick you out and then you’d have to start over...annoying. But the best selection of Gifs! You’re certain to find one to express your exact mood! Thank you!!

Better Than I expected. Downloaded and setup with no prob. We've had it for months now and can't text without wanting to attach an Ebroji. Can't live without it now. My hubby and I use it constantly, great for midday laughs about the monotonous day-to-day texts. So much better than any emoji can express. The library of options is much larger than expected and it's regularly updated with new options. Good job!!!!

I love it already!. I heard about this on the Denzel Washington podcast and thought it sounded like a great idea, but it's even better than I hoped. I've been using it all day, and I have yet to find an emotion or idea that can't be expressed quickly in gif form. Much funnier than emojis, and almost as quick. Great app!

Texting goes from Boring to Scoring!. This app is AWESOME! I have had 4 people download the app in the last two days after I've sent a perfectly executed ebroji gif! This takes texting to a whole new level, never mind the fact that it is just plain fun! I have never laughed so much texting as I have in the last couple days! Would love to see a family friendly version, or the ability to delete certain categories. My kids would absolutely LOVE this, and it would open you up to a broader audience too!

Four Star App!!. When I first downloaded this app I was PRESSED to use it lol every convo had a gif, ok 💁🏾‍♀️ but I was annoyed that there wasn’t a way to search so it delayed my responses. Then you guys added a search function!! Yasss I was super excited, right? Well after my first time using the search function I’m no longer able to use the keyboard 😩😩😩 I’m so upset. Every time I open it, the keyboard force closes and redirects me to my default keyboard before I can type or press anything! 😔 any suggestions? Maybe I’m missing something? Help 🤷🏾‍♀️

POC. I'm sorry. When I first downloaded this app, I loved it because this was made for people of color with our ethnic expressions. I always delete and re download the app but recently when I re downloaded it, there was a whole bunch of white people on here. I don't have a problem w them, but I'm just saying- I would've downloaded the giphy app if I wanted to see that. I come on this app looking for POC because they have expressions that I feel and relate to everyday. I don't have the same connection w white people. If you guys get what I'm saying. Can we please fix this?

Needs to improve!. I've had this on my phone for a few years and I rarely use it because the search aspect is not user-friendly, something as a basic search for birthday giph is disappointing and limited. Also I believed it would have more African-American culture content.

My EVERY Thought in GIFs!!. I'm unable to have a simple conversation anymore! This app has every expression I would make, plus the ones I would love to use at work. I've shared with all my friends and we only speak in GIF! Having the option in the keyboard makes it easy to use.

Keyboard force closes. I can no longer use the keyboard function because it keeps force closing and taking me back to the default keyboard. Please fix it?

Jessie, Please Fix This. I love this app so much, use it everyday, and have been since its release. Well for like the last two months, it's been crashing my phone when I try to access it. That won't make me delete it because I'll always support this app, but man, it sure makes me THINK about deleting it. The crashing is constant and so frustrating.

So was this just a hobby that you are over now?. Great app but it hasn’t been updated in 3 years no new additional gifs either it’s like why make something so promising and then abandon it? Is this how Greenwood bank will be in the future if it ever sees the light of day anyway.

What Happened?. Update:. 3 years later and still no update? What's really going on with this app? I was super excited for this keyboard when it was first announced. Finally, I would have easier access to GIFs, stickers, and other ways to make texting more fun, in a way that represented a black perspective. Sadly, I have yet to see that realization. I really want to keep this app, but I always delete apps that I don't use. I don't just keep them installed. I rely hope that this app is updated and gets back to what it's initial appeal was. I'll check back, but for now, I have to uninstall. 🙁

Quality has declined. I used to love this app 1. Because of all the specifically black and brown gifs that were available that weren’t anywhere else. 2. Because of how quickly the app updated based on current events and pop culture to offer the most current, timely, and amazing gifs. Now, the app is lacking those two. I’m honestly better off using my iOS gifs than the app. I’m very disappointed in the selection and curation of this app.

This is a top shelf app. I don't have to save memes and photos on my phone anymore. This app has one for every occasion. FYI, the pics don't look clear in the app but once you select it and send it they are crystal clear. This is a must have app.

What the heck... I couldn't copy before, it kept telling me to go to settings, then ebroji and allow photos. Well guess what, when you go there it only has one option which was already on. So I deleted and uninstalled. Now I can only get this married with children gif which I didn't even select. Like ever. What the heck?!

Search Option Would Make It Better. I really like the collection of gifs on the app, but the fact that it doesn't have a search option is very disappointing. I think adding one would greatly improve the app and would earn the app a higher rating.

Hard to find what I need. I wish there was a search option because most times it's hard to find what I really want to say. It takes so long to find sometimes that I just say forget it and respond without the photo. The actual process of posting what you want is good.

A picture/gif is worth a thousand words. I literally use this app every time I text! The only thing that would improve this app would be a search engine. Keep up the good work and improvements.

Where's the search bar?. Loving the gifs.. It would be nice to be able to search them all by keyword. Right now, finding the right gif is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Tons of content to check out...without the option to navigate/sift through it on your own.

PLEASE ADD A SEARCH FEATURE. This app DESPERATELY needs a search feature...and a back button!! Love the concept. Also wish the categories were just normal titles not all these "black" things. I love it, but.... Why does the developer need to track what is being typed with the keyboard? The GIFs are great and I am obsessed with them, but not comfortable with the App transmitting what I text as well. Does it transmit from the iPhone keyboard or just the Ebroji? Clearer details on what is being tracked and why would be great. Would be 5 stars except for this matter.

Love it but one flaw. This app has helped to liven up my convos with friends but I really wish there was a search option. You have to go through all the categories to find gifs and when you're in the midst of a spirited debate, that's no bueno.

Liars. When I downloaded this app, the instructions for adding the keyboard said the app would not send information from my phone. As soon as I tried to allow access, a message popped up to say that the app could/would use anything I typed and share it as they see fit. Deleting immediately

iOS 10. Since I updated to iOS 10 the app doesn't work right when I switch to different gif apps through the keyboard

Everything. Ebroji is everything. There’s a gif for all of the occasions and for all of the feelings. Makes you realize how woefully insufficient the emoji keypad is. Also, the significance of having apps that actually approximate how we (black folk) communicate is essential. Get into it!

Hasn't worked since iOS10 update. I love this app, but since I updated I can't use it. It keeps telling me to allow access even though I already have.

I should have downloaded this a long time ago. I used to go to threads and steal memes, downloading every one that looked cool... Until my photo storage got full lol. This is so much more convenient. If only I could search for what I needed, it would be perfect.

The GIFs are cool but why no Search???. the gifs are awesome, but it is annoying that i have to go through the list to find a mood that i want to express and sometimes it is not there. All other gif keyboards allow searching and this seems like a very fundamental feature.

Proceed with caution!. To use, you need to allow full access, which grants the developer access to anything you type with this keyboard! To workaround this invasion of privacy, only use this keyboard to send gif's and use your default Apple keyboard to type anything/everything else!

Good but not great. I've been using the app for a while, and I like it... however, it could vastly improve from the simple addition of a search bar, that's it. Add a search bar and ship it out to us ASAP

App ask for full access. Won't work as a keyboard without it. Giving the app full access allow the app to track everything you type. That can be your social security number, credit cards, bank info etc. Be careful. When I first got this app, I didn't have to give it full access. I wish I never deleted it. Now I barley use it.

Was great. Ok I am having trouble with this app. It use to work fine but now I can no longer access it from my keyboard. I can only access it by pressing the actual app. Then the embrojis are so sensitive that when I try and scroll through them, it clicks on and opens the first time my hand touches the screen. Limited. I want to like it, but the gifs won't paste to Twitter or Facebook. It only really works to text and email. And when you use the app to post to Twitter, it shows up as a still image and not a gif. Also, there should be an ability to search key words like "New York" or "Rihanna."

Great but issues with GIFs playing. Is there a current issue with the gifs not playing? I text a non iPhone user and it doesn't work but if I would text an iPhone user it works

Love it, room for improvement. Downloaded the app after hearing about it in Jesse Williams' interview on Desus & Mero. So far it's great! I do wish there was a way to search for GIFs rather than scrolling through the long category list (similar to Bitmoji or Giphy search). Content is excellent though!

Stopped working. I swear when I saw Jessie Williams on The Daily Show I downloaded this instantly...and I loved this app! But now it doesn't work with Facebook, can copy but not paste. I think it has something to do with facebook's latest update, cause that's when it stopped working. And why is it a copy and paste format anyway. Why cant we just just tap and it automatically paste...like other emoji boards. Please fix! Great idea.

You can't paste on the Twitter for iPhone app. While I love the app itself, I'm frustrated that the GIFs transfer as still images on the Twitter for iPhone app and of course you can't directly past on there. Other than that it's a dope app and fun to use via text.

Bruh. You have to get this app!. There is literally a gif to fit any situation. It takes me a while to respond to text now cause i have to find the perfect gif, lol (there are so many options) But fr its really entertaining. Get it!
