Fun but needs improvement. The game is fun and the content is challenging, however there needs to be a way to custom the time for each round of play. Also a lot of the categories give repeat clues within the next round which is annoying.

Has potential. This is a fun game to play but not cool that you have to pay for the game AND pay for each additional category. This excludes a large part of the community. The games that come in the initial purchased version (without buying any additional categories) are limited and have limited answers that end up appearing in each round, so you get the same answers a lot of the time. Rating would improve if the game had one upfront purchase price that included all categories, or if the free categories were actually free and then all additional categories could be purchased as a bundle, and if there were more things to guess in each section.

Love it. I recently played this game with my family and friends and it was so fun!!!! My only request is that we're allowed to save and store the videos to watch them later on.

The best family game on the Apple Store!. This game is so fun. I love the way when one person has the phone on their head and it records the other people trying to give the person hints to guess. I would recommend this game to anyone. I love the categories especially trap music. It’s so fun. Keep up the great work!

So disappointing. Considering that you pay for this game, I’m so disappointed. First off, after paying for the game you then have to pay extra 99 cents for additional categories. The categories that come with the purchase have limited cards and they get repeated EVERY round. There’s no room for fun or even real completion. I don’t know what’s preventing them from adding more variety but I they need to take care of that quickly. This was a complete waste of money. I wanted to love it but I simply can’t.

Paid $4.99 to STILL not have access to the games I paid for….. This is so disheartening as I really want to support but will only use the free version due to a bug that was never fixed. I have a subscription in which I pay $4.99 a month, and still get prompted to buy a subscription every time I use the app. This has now been for almost a year! Enough money wasted, on to the next but definitely wishing them best of luck.

The Best of new and old school everything!. This is seriously the most fun I’ve had with a game in years! It’s the best of new and old school in music, movies, and a whole lot more. I fell in love the first 5 minutes. My only regret is that it wasn’t my idea because it is brilliant!

Good, but it can be great!. The app is fun with its beginning 6 games, but I don’t like the fact I paid $1.99 for it. The price would be fine if I didn’t have to pay $.99 for every single new category. It’s good there’s a lot of options and people can choose which ones they want as opposed to being forced to buy bundles that people may only want 2 out of the 5 categories. But yeah, I think the app should either be free (so the first 6 categories are free and people would still have to buy the any of the categories they choose) or to fit the $1.99 price it should have more categories from the jump. Also, the app could use Black History categories in different fields like international, science and civil rights and a Black Youtuber category.

Love it!!!!. I love this game!!!! It’s so culturally appropriate and it is the most requested game at my events. The only reason that I couldn’t give it 5 stars is because there is no way for me to purchase all of the games at one time or sections that will open based on how many times you use the app like other charades gems like heads up. If there was an update for that this would definitely be a five star game.

Is this app a scam or what ?. So I saw the app On an Instagram ad and thought it seemed cool . My husband and I get together with our friends often and we love to play games . My husband and I ran threw the free categories to see how they were and we liked it enough to subscribe to the monthly . I purchased the subscription and was excited to look through the categories only to click on several and it kept saying to subscribe. . It feels very much like a scam because I paid my money and now I don’t have access . I wouldn’t recommend this app and I was so excited for it but it just seems like a scam to get money .

Wish there was a higher rating. Downloaded it just to write a review😂 Our Christmas games were even better when my sister suggested this one. Had so much fun and I’ll definitely be playing this with my daughter solo. A lot of games exclude our culture, so this was refreshing. Thanks!

Great Fun!!!. This game is awesome and makes for a real good time. I tested it out with a few friends before playing unveiling at at Thanksgiving dinner 2017. The answers are really good and I like that you can view playback of your friends trying to get you to real the choices. My only problem that I have is when it’s time for the answers to change the “Hold Phone to Head” or whatever it says doesn’t vanish when the answers begin to show up, making it hard to play. Please fix this Jesse ☺️. Other than that the game is the bomb and I love the HBCU Love!!!!!

Paris is Burning. Ok so y’all tried it! But did you really?!? I was excited to see this as a category. Didn’t even bat an eye at spending the .99 but let me tell you I want my cents back. I grew up with Paris is Burning. Those figures shaped my out look as an artist. So for them not to be properly honored for everything they put into the culture is absurd! Where’s Pepper?? Where’s Octavia?? Where’s Angie??!? Okurr ain’t part of it! Big Freedia has nothing to do with Paris is Burning!! Proper representation is important! Get the folks in the room that know!!

Where is Storm, Blade, Rosa Parks, etc..?. I am kinda disappointed by the “Heroes and Villains” category. There is such a noticeable lack of actual black heroes and villains. We have an image of black panther on there but where is the rich tradition of actual heroes of color: storm, shaka Zulu, blade, Nelson Mandela, etc.. we have more heroes than reality shows and black panther. OTHER THAN THIS I LOVE THIS APP - but we are better than this ❤️

Spelling Mistake. I love the game, my girlfriend and I play all the time and whenever we have a get together we play with our guests. However we found a mistake in the “HBCU” category, one of the answers is “Lota Phi Theta” but it should be “Iota Phi Theta”.

Good app but has some bugs!. I really like this app and I don’t mind paying for a subscription as it is tons of fun but it crashes my phone, sometimes the timer cuts out before it has run out, and sometimes it deletes answers. This app has some definite bugs that need to be worked out which I do hope happens quickly because I do enjoy passing the time with my family by playing!

Great!!!. So much fun!! Just wish y’all would add more to categories and mix them up if they repeat. I have two kids and they don’t know half the movies but know the answers based on the order they’re in:) Also, please more free categories:)

Great customer service!. Update: I was having an issue with the monthly subscription still asking me to pay for games. I emailed them and they responded promptly and was able to fix the issue. This is really my favorite game so I was glad their customer service was on point . If you ate having the issue I was just email them and they’ll help you. Initial review: This is always my go to game but unfortunately I activated my subscription again for $2.99 and still had to pay 99 cents for each game. Not good!

What I’ve been waiting for!!!. If you like playing games with family and friends and you were raised in an African American household, you will will not be disappointed with this game. The categories in BleBrity are well thought out and will have you and your family and friends crying with laughter. I fell on the floor laughing at the “Momma Phrases” category and couldn’t continue my round. BleBrity is a great game to play with cousins and play cousins during the holidays. The reason for my 4-star is because there are a few categories missing (according to the categories listed on their website-LGBT, The Queen, Prince, and 80s babies). I would love to play those categories, too.

Buyer Beware. Recently downloaded the app. Played it with friends and family. Everyone loved it so I went ahead and purchased the 2.99/mo. But now each time I try to play all catagories it says I must subscribe for the monthly fee. Whenever I resubscribe, the app tells me I’m already subscribed. Which come to find out I am, after double checking. Really frustrating and confusing when we can’t enjoy a really fun game night with app. It has a major glitch with suscription settings. I’ve even deleted app and reinstalled it. To no avail nothing has worked. If you are downloading this app and looking for a fun time, they only have 3topics that are functional even AFTER purchasing the subscription. Thanks guys. Hope this get fixed soon. Too bad.

For The Culture. This game is for the BLACK CULTURE. Questions for us, by us. All of the answers were nostalgic or classic in the black culture. My only criticism some of the answers were misspelled or misnamed, i.e Baltimore Ravens & White Chicks. Overall, great family fun game! Good for Girls Nights or Family Game Night!

Great Game. Having a blast so much I purchased additional packages. Really enjoying the game but turned off the video and mic. Is there a settings button? How do you restore these features?

Family Fun. During this pandemic, we decided to try this game since we had nothing to do. Well baby let me tell you, WE HAD A BALL!!! WE LAUGHED AT EACH OTHER. The bonus is having a video to watch of the game🤣😂🤣🤣

Nonstop Laughs. Played this last night w/ friends and we laughed the ENTIRE time. Game is a great buy and the categories are on point. I only give 3 stars because there were a few operational glitches with category loading, video playback, and answers just marking themselves correct/incorrect occasionally. I’m hoping next round of updates knocks this out. SOLID GAME THO! You won’t be disappointed.

Subscribed but will not allow me to play. I have been subscribed for months. Just had a payment pull out today, but when I go to try and play games it’s telling me I have to subscribe. When I click subscribe it’s telling me I’m already subscribed. Fix it Jesus!

Family Favorite but too Money Hungry. Before Thanksgiving, there were two option where you pay to pay monthly: all access for certain categories and full access to all categories for $2.99 and $4.99, respectively. I had full access since it’s a favorite amongst the cousins. Our last game, I see there’s an option to buy the complete game with a one month free trial for same price as full access so that’s what I choose and get charged for, believing that would be the last time. Wrong. Imagine my surprise when shortly after my full game purchase my subscription was now showing as “expired” in my settings. I figured it’s a loss and I’m done paying anything else for this game and decide to leave it set as “expired”. Wrong again! Woke up to yet another “full access” charge instead of the complete game charge even though it should still be set to “expired” or at the very least show I recently chose to purchase the full game! Very misleading with purchase options with no way to refund if I can’t choose the complete game!

Paid $4.99 for nothing. I was only able to use free categories.. I was with family and friends and we wanted to play a game. Blebrity seemed like a great choice. After looking at the options and categories I was willing to pay the small fee. After paying I was unable to even use the added categories only the 6 free options were available to use. Garbage app, don't waist your time or money on it.

Really fun game. I really love this app. I randomly play at home and at work. We’ve built soo much morale at work, by playing games like Blebrity together on lunch. The only question/problem I have is that it used to record on my phone (iPhone 8) when I play, and now it doesn’t. How do I fix that?? 🤷🏽‍♀️

BoldLilAppCreatingKonversation. Fresh, funny, and full of information. My gf and I use this app as both comedic relief while we wait for our meal at a restaurant, and for practicing the delicate art of verbal communication. Now a couple of categories have been known to go missing clues, but for the most part, I enjoy this app, and have recommended it to family and friends!

Dopeness that keeps any night alive!. I absolutely love this app! The variety is worth the purchase. Plus, you’re supporting a black app that’s for the culture! I play this randomly. Whether I’m at a gathering with friends or dinner gets a little boring. We played it while out for dinner, and had the next table guessing right along with us.

Fun game but.... I really enjoyed playing this game with family and friends last night. We would set the timer for 2 minutes and as soon as the game started the timer was literally skipping numbers. The rounds were only around 30 seconds. And yes, we tried multiple categories and it did that on everyone. I hope this can be fixed because we really did enjoy this game.

Paid category is not working. My family and I had so much fun playing the guessing game, that I purchased another game category. When I went to play the new game category, NO words showed up on the screen. We tried a few time and got the same results. As a result, I am out of $1.08.

How do you play on the iPad?. I played this game on my daughter’s iPhone and fell in love with it so I decided to download it on my iPad and Galaxy. I downloaded Blebrity on my iPad but there were no instructions on how to play it. When I went to download it for my Galaxy I could not find Blebrity in the Google Play store. How do I play this on my iPad, I had to cancel my subscription and everything and where is it in the Google Play because you advertised that I could download it there and I couldn’t find it.

Not there yet. Initially I was so excited to play this game. It is so refreshing to see an app embrace our culture. For 1.99 the free categories are very limited and the questions repeat themselves in the same order every time you play them. With having to pay an additional .99¢ for each new category I ended up spending $6.99 total for one round during game night with my family just so we could all play a different deck without having to repeat the same questions. It took the fun out of the night. I am very disappointed and wish there was a way to refund this purchase.

A lot of potential... but a lot of kinks to be ironed out.. So far, I’ve had a great time playing the game however the technological errors occurring are getting in the way of the fun. 50% of the time questions will automatically skip, I’m assuming the sensitivity level is set way too high. We’re also finding that with the free categories you’ll run into a lot of back to back repeated questions, that’s no fun. Good game overall, but these kinks need to be ironed out ASAP.

BLeBRiTY is amazing. I love this game ngl. Only game I haven’t deleted even when I needed space on my iPhone. You may not play it everyday but when you have people over it can be a GEM.

No trivia. I thought it was a trivia game more like Jeopardy. The fact that it’s just like Charades with Blacker themed topics is not a draw. It’s probably good to add a twist to the game but like many reviewers have already said I wouldn’t pay for each category. Maybe I’d pay one flat price that unlocked everything but honestly my friends and I could’ve come up with these in one night over pizza and drinks. But good luck though! Much success. Two stars cause it’s Black created!

AMAZING!!!. I was browsing and happen to run across this app and I am here to tell you I haven’t laughed or had so much fun doing a game like this In a long time!! Brought back sooo many memories from all the movies, the music & most important the culture! Thank you! Get this App!!!

Good game but... It’s a great game and it’s fun to play but it definitely needs an update. There’s times where we’re playing and the same answers come up. It feels like for some of the categories there’s only like 10 answers in a deck. It would also be nice if the music ones got revamped. Like the real music and current music categories got more recent cards

Yaaaaaasssss. This game changed my relationship. It provides context for friends and family to discuss topics that are important and nostalgic for us and have fun while doing so. It can build in friendly competition into conversations about race and identity.

Best game ever. This is the best game , we finally have something classic black famlies would understand. I really love it , you can buy a category for .99 or buy the whole thing for 2.99 it’s lit the creator is all the bomb for this , I can’t wait to play at my next gathering I recommend this to people whose in touch with the hood culture

Great Game!. I just downloaded this tonight around 8 something. I started playing with my boyfriend at around 9. It’s almost 1 in the morning and we’re just stopping. We definitely got lost in the moment. It was great fun. Singing, dancing, laughing. This game brings a good time. I signed up for the subscription. The value is definitely worth it.

Fun Game. Buggy App. Wait for update.. Family had fun playing despite the technical glitches. I'd recommend waiting to let them work out the kinks. Felt like we were beta testing. Developer here are some notes: -clock blocks answers -category doesn't end when clock times out -auto-answers without a risk flick

Definitely the Holiday and Get Together Staple. The first thing my friends and family asks at every event is if I’m bringing my iPad so we can play. All ages are entertained: we laugh, complain, clown each other and no one ever wants to stop! I just realized that I can AirPlay from my iPad to my AppleTV. The next gathering is going to be ridiculous because we don’t have to gather around the iPad anymore. Everyone can clearly see the hints on the big screen. I buy every new category I think the crowd would like. I don’t mind paying $1 to support black businesses!

Hella fun!!!. It’s just me and my boyfriend playing after we seen it on Jesse Instagram. Literally can’t stop playing. Worth the time and even the extra couple dollars if you get the extensions.

Summer Function Category. I downloaded this game to play with friends and family. We were thoroughly enjoying it, so we bought five of the additional categories available for purchase. All of the new categories worked well with the exception of Summer Function. When it loads, the screen is blank with nothing showing but the countdown. There are no clues for guessing - it’s just a blank screen. I would appreciate either this category being updated, or a refund of the $0.99 paid for the category.

Love this game but needs a more adjustment. I really love this game, but the in-app timer doesn’t work properly. The 2 min clock only runs for about 1 min 15 seconds. We played over thanksgiving which was when we noticed this, and i timed it today and it still doesn’t work properly. If that can be fixed, 5 stars.

more relevant than heads up, for everybody. Its actually good, like some of the questions i dint know just like heads up, but its fun to learn about the ones you don't know later. Just get it lol. This would be a good game if you lived in a black college hall or have a black fraternity or you're just hangin out with your friends. White people can play it too i mean its actually relevant to all Americans because black history is just american history. Everyone will know a lot of the people and things who play the game. I find this game much more interesting than heads up. You can even bust it out in a party to test your crowd lol. You'd be shocked what they don't know, but even more surprised at what they know. Its almost like an awareness thermometer, -a little. You can read the room if you play this game but sometimes people just don't know anything about black culture and this game also doesn't really get the more important details and uses questions just because of some contract or something i swear. BUT There needs to be a black history category thats free, thats like way important. And i know yall probably already thought of this and said “i don't want people busting out black history and killing vibes” no one is gonna do that and black history doesn't kill vibes, it creates vibes everyone can learn from!

No full access despite confirmation of payment!. I rushed to download the app as I was at a party. It only allowed brief use of a few categories before it timed out. I assumed it was because I didn’t actually pay for it and it was just allowing me to sample the game. The next morning I see the email from Apple confirming the full access monthly subscription. When I pressed the app, it gave me the option to pay for the same $4.99 monthly price to have full access! Guess I’ll delete the subscription from my Apple account since more than 12 hrs later the app still didn’t recognize I had paid for full access!

Having issues. I’ve been using the app for a while, and I loved it. Until recently. I tried to use it (mind you I’m paying for the all access ) I no longer have access to all the categories. I am still being charged 2.99 monthly. I was actually charged twice this month. If nothing changes, or I can’t access the rest of the categories, I will delete. Doesn’t make sense to be charged and I can’t access all the features.

So fun!. Great game! Needs more options per category. It begins to repeat quickly.. even the paid options.

Good concept but... Too glitchy. I bought the game and several add ons and guess what, couldn't even play it for Thanksgiving family game night. That was the whole point of me buying it. The game passes on its own, the timer is inaccurate, and it gets stuck on cards.

Question. When answering questions if you shake your phone/tablet it answer correctly even if the answer is wrong

funnnnn!. popped this sucker out for the family at christmas and they had a ball!!! i done paid .99 separately for at least 7 categories (blah) but it was worth it. watching the videos now and the only suggestion i would make is that the playback gives the clue (like heads up). and also more variety bc after like two rounds the clues would repeat.

Fast Paced Fun. This is a fun, fast paced game. I was disappointed when I learned that only a limited number of catigories are available with initial purchase.

Smh. Get it together. How are you going to have an advertisement for $4.99, and when customers purchase it- it doesn’t work? Are the creators even keeping up with the bugs and maintenance of this app? I for sure got my refund. Unacceptable.

Purchased a category but no words appeared. I purchased the category summer functions and no words came up! I would like some assistance I know it’s just .99 but I would still like to get what I paid for.

Settings option. The game itself is good and very fun but where is the option to disable recordings you only get the option when u first download and set up the app??

Fun game but limited.. If you’ve ever played Heads Up or For the Culture, it’s basically the same game. However, it’s a very limited version. All of the good categories costs $0.99 each. The free categories are pretty standard. Soooooo yea...

Took my money and didn’t work!. I hate to do a bad review because this game is really fun and great for small groups. I paid for the subscription and it NEVER let play the premium categories!! Just kept getting stuck at the paywall even though Apple just kept confirming I ALREADY SUBSCRIBED??!! If nothing else just fix that.

Pay pay pay pay. I paid once thinking I was good to enjoy the game. But for each category u have to pay another 99 cents. And the categories are the same questions. So 99 cents just to download and the 99 cent for one category that you'll only enjoy for one time. Taking all my black dollar. Smh
