Sorta free. It is free, except you get a pop up every 5 sentences asking if you want to unlock the app for $4.99. You can say no and continue listening, for another 5 sentences. Very 5 sentences I get the pop up. Otherwise, it's good for listening to PDF research articles for school.

Constant crashes = garbage. The app starts fine, but if I tap on anything it crashes to the home screen. E.g. If I tap quick start guide it shows loading then automatically crashes to the iPhone home screen. Is it really that hard to get a working PDF reader? This is hurting my research as I can't multitask and am forced to manually read, this is extremely infuriating, as I'm capable of studying and preforming focused word at the same time, this limits my human potential, please fix this. I have yet to find one app that will read a PDF, it's 2016, it's saddening this tech ha not been refined.

Broken. Dropbox integration does not work

Voyzer. I purchased this app about 7-8 months ago (paid to unlock the English version). It worked fine on my iPhone, but I could not get it to work on my iPad, as the app wanted me to pay another $4.99 to unlock the reader on that device. Recently my iPhone updated and I lost the ability for the app to read more than the 3 lines. It wanted me to pay $4.99 to unlock it on the same device it was previously unlocked on. I contact app support about the issue without a single response. Highly frustrating app and money hungry company. I do not recommend this app for anyone anymore. Foxit PDF reader has a reader in that app and it’s all free. The voice isn’t as “human” sounding, it works flawlessly and it free. I am still awaiting contact from the support team regarding this issue.

Crashes. I purchased this app two days ago. It worked well the first day. Now it doesn’t work at all. It is a waste of money!

Snowbetty77. This app only does portrait orientation:( I use an iPad Pro with a Smart Keyboard if your tablet is from 2013 or later, this is a complete waste of $5.00. Please update this app to 2016 hashtag fail.

Unhappy with app. I thought this would read PDFs and ePub books but it doesn't work. It appears that the app crashes every time I attempt to launch one. This was a waste of money.

I have purchased your app but it is not letting me activate it.. I have purchased this app but can activate it and it keeps prompting me to buy it again and again

Software update issue. The app works great on my iPad! It worked well on my iPhone before the iOS 11.0 software update! I can’t listen to the journal articles for grad school during my commute to and from work. This is frustrating!

Best voice reader out there.. PDF Reader, Book Reader, and write your own audio docs. Simple, Unified, Really fun to use, and very rich feature set.

A ripoff. The app is bulky (music and fancy font), but crashes all the time, and wants me to pay additional money to use the French IOS system voice.

Lovely App. This app is great and super simple. If you have a PDF that has a header with page numbers and title, you can crop them out and have only the real text read. I have tried some of the pricier app in the App Store and this blows them out of the water. It's cheaper and it simply makes listening a breeze. Voice quality could be improved but still 5Stars. Yes, a pop up asks you to purchase the voices after a few sentences but at least they let you try the app instead of charging $15 for something that is fancy but reads footnotes and page titles. I like this and it's price point is reasonable.

Doesn’t work on iOS 11, but best PDF-to-speech app.. I've tried all of the PDF-to-speech apps (including the paid versions). This app is the only one that solves the problem of header and footer text (cropping). It's also the easiest to use with Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. There's just no contest. This is the best app out there. Alas, it doesn’t work on iOS 11.

This isn't free. It will only read the first five lines there after you have to purchase this ridiculous robotic voice that still cannot read exactly what is written word for word. I can't believe in the 21st century that developers haven't been able to master text to speech yet. Just shows how backwards we really are.

Works pretty well but needs one more feature. This app is great. The best feature is that you can crop the page so that it doesn’t read headers or footers every page. But a missing feature is the ability to crop left and right as well. I use it to read screenplays and there are often symbols and notes in the margins that shouldn’t be read aloud.
