💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Fabulous application. Fabulous application. It's changed the productivity of my drive time by orders of magnitude.

I want my $4.99 back. Your google drive doesn’t work. I downloaded drop box, yet there’s another loophole- I had to download a pdf scanner. Please I need my money back. I’m a college student that doesn’t receive any income.

Not the way you should do business. I had already been using this app for many weeks and it worked fine. Then I downloaded an update and it instantly forced me to pay in order to keep using it.

Your phone already does this. Waste of money. It does not pronounce words properly.

What happen?. Just bought the app and can’t open pdf from Dropbox & Google Drive. What happened? Please refund

Does not open journal articles!. I am a biologist, and I was looking for a way to reduce the eye-strain of reading tons of scholarly journal articles, most of which are saved as PDFs. This app just failed to read 25 different articles from 25 different journal publications. Several of the PDFs crashed the app while opening. Pointless. A total waste of money. I will have to go back to using apple's built-in voice reader, which can be turned on from the "accessibility" section of the general settings tab. That isn't much better, but at least it reads the PDF, albeit without the ability to pause. This may work for business people opening word docs that have been converted to PDF, but be weary if you intend to use it for more scholarly pursuits.

Not as good as the built-in apple reader. This might be fine for reading a novel, though the controls are primitive. For example it always reads the copyright notice in the page footer. But the core of this, the rule set that tells the voice how to read, is MISERABLE at reading technical documentation. The reader which is built into Safari, on the other hand, does a very respectable job of READING technical documentation The drawback of the Safari reader as of iOS 5.1 is that it doesn't work on PDF's and it's a huge pain to select the area to read, and you can't pause, and you can't follow along with a cursor. The cursor is the one thing that this app gets right. This whole area is a huge disappointment right now.

Works great on iPhone iPad Pro. Love it use it every day listening to books

Totally amazing. Amazing app. Totally needed in my daily life with so much to read!!! A break for my eyes and still get my job done!!!!

Amazing Technology!. For an application on a smart phone, this is probably the most useful app ever had! I use this application to listen to textbooks. It works with dropbox so that I can print sections of my text books, open them from Dropbox using vBookz, & listen! One major benefit is that it stores the files locally on the phone storage, and does not require an Internet connection to read the files aloud. This enables listening on airplanes that do not have Wi-Fi connections (or saves paying the fee for access). This app does say words "Incorrectly", but usually they are not so much incorrect as they are out of context. (BI - abbreviation for business intelligence is said bi, like bi-lateral.) If the author used B.I., it may have read it correctly. This should not prevent anybody who wants to have books read aloud to them (while exercising, driving, or resting your eyes from hours of reading) from getting this, because it truly is an amazing application!

vBookz is the best!. By far the best voice reader for PDFs. The famous magnifying glass is AWESOME because it follows the words as you read. Great for many reasons. Customer support is very good. If you have some suggestions, they ACTUALLY listen to their customers. Keep up the good work and continue to add new features like maybe the ability to highlight words, draw on the document etc. You better watch it or someone like Google or Apple will buy you up for a billion dollars :)

Easy on the eyes :). I first got this app 3 iPhones ago. It was so amazing that I could take my books with me, and have them read to me all night long while I was around and about working on heavy trucks outside at night. Working alone can get very monotonous , and this app has been my trusty friend throughout it all. It don't get sick, and is always at the ready like a faithful friend in your pocket. Now I finally got my first iPad , and it's like Christmas all over again. Thank you so much for this wonderful app , my eyes have gotten much worse over the last year, and your ingenuity has helped me a lot, thank you =).... The iPhone is such a wonderful invention, it's all you can imagine and so much more. If you can think it up , these kinds of apps turn your dreams, and fantasy's into your everyday reality. A man in a hole is just such a shame , but give that same man the tools, and inspiration that he needs to succeed , and together we can change the world, thank you Steve Jobs..... You have changed my life..RJS.

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t work. Took my money. Don’t download this

Was great, needs bug fix. This is one of the most used apps I have on my iPhone. I've had it for well over a year & I couldn't live without it. I read a lot of PDFs for work & being able to listen to them as if an audiobook is AWESOME while driving, walking, running, doing housework, etc. My pdfs range from 3-200 pages & the app handles them beautifully in terms of size. It doesn't have any issues with lag & is able to process the large files with ease, unlike other apps I've tried. But recently it's been skipping around the pdfs like crazy. It seems to read the body context 1st, then the title/header, & any hyperlinks embedded into the PDF last. So if there is a link in the body, it will skip it & just read all the link text at the very end. A big issue for me since white papers tend to be link heavy. And if there are multiple columns of text on a page (ie quotes pulled out of text) it really struggles & messes up order. Seems like it needs to be able to ignore formatting to fix the header/sub section title/link problem. Anyway, it's still the best I've found. As soon as the developers work out these issues ill change my review to 5 stars. (Oh and personally, I would looove the ability to bookmark multiple pages, highlight text or add a note. And maybe one day open in vbookz option in more apps, like Pocket or Weebly, though I'm sure that's an issue since they aren't in PDF format.)

Doesn’t work on iPhone X. I have been running into problems on my 7 as well. I’m starting to think this app is no longer supported. It’s a shame because this used to be a really useful app. Now it’s just buggy..

Waste money. Don’t waste your money

Get rid of the music. I bought this app so I could just hear a voice while i read. The music is distracting.

Amazing!! Student must!. Saved me so much time. Read all my college books for me. I love this app!!

Good. Great app, I wish they had a bookmark feature but other than that I REALLY enjoy it

It does not work. Always an email to support and a new download

Went for it...SOOO glad I did!. I don't have much to add to those who have delineated why they like this app...except to say, don't be turned off (as I almost was) by negative reviews. I say that for YOUR sake... I almost missed out on something great (this app) just by worrying over negative feedback. ...the very app I was searching for was here...and I found that out only after spending for almost every other speaking app out there. While some have decent voices, I'd say there are none I like so well as this for: voice, pdf reading feature (youd be surprised how few integrate this), ease of use, comparative price (you think the price is high? Just look at the tags of other speaking apps!), and the "follow along" word highlight. This app is soooo cool my whole family also likes this app now... it's that good. Pretty reliable for me so far too. A couple crashes maybe (do I remember any??) ..but considerably better than most. All in all a 5 star experience,.. I like it!! I use it.

Killer app(s) for commuters!. I'd give this app (and it's sister app, vBookz-for-epubs - I have both) TEN STARS if I could. Reading voices are pleasant & clear, more than adequate for extended listening. Many more books are available as PDFs or ePubs than as recorded audiobooks, especially among professional and academic texts, so these apps greatly expand your available choices (not to mention how much less PDFs/ePubs cost and how much smaller than audiobook files they are). If you listen to books while commuting, hiking, or exercising, you •need• these apps. I only hope that Mindex (the developer) appreciates them for the breakthrough they are, and gives them the marketing attention they deserve,

Great resource. I do a lot of driving. I upload the articles I need to read and listen while I drive.

Love it, had this app for couple of years. Love this app, had it for couple of years and works great!! Highly recommended.

4 stars b/c No iphone x support. Reading from PDFs is decent. i like: - you can change reading speed - the crop feature - can import pdfs & turn intro music off - can pay for more languages - can manually program how to pronounce words - It remembers where you left off - can pause Non- dealbreakers: - can’t change voice - problems reading some common symbols - Weird way reading sentences sometimes? Really, i world rate 5 stars if not for the lack of iphone x support. It’s annoying to me as i one time paid for this app. Moreover, it makes me think the developer does not care about the app.

Seriously annoyed!!!!. Wasted my $5 on this purchase. This app NO LONGER is supported by google because google only allows browsers to confirm log in info which this app is not being used as a browser interface (according to error message given by google upon selecting them as the source to upload documents). Totally annoyed!!!!!!!

In-text Cited Sources. I absolutely love the app. Although, I would love there to be an update where I could choose the option to not have the in-text cited sources read allowed in the articles within my library. It often distracts and corrupts the flow of a very interesting sentence. Overall, great app! Thank you!

Poor Voice-to-Text performance. If you're interested in reading a fairly small pdf, this is good app. Once your reading material grows bigger, which is the reason you buy such an app, the app fails miserably. Even with short pdfs the cursor skips over lines or is several lines behind the spoken words. So if you'd want to follow with your eyes, you're only getting eye pain and headache. I bought this app over a year ago as I have tons of technical materials that I'd like to listen to on the go, my experience was more of annoyance and frustration. I used this app a few times in this long period and wrote to the devs but they don't seem to have good understanding of what this app should do! Don't waste your money.

Excellently working. Excellently working but Shuffling while reading some of the books, Not reads in the order of content is displayed, for example, it reads directly the the second para without reading first. Suggestion:- before buying these apps read your pdf book through speak option in iBooks or free apps, if it meets your requirement then purchase these vbz & vdr apps. These apps are exactly works same like iBook and not works like acrobat pdf reader readout loud feature, only difference observed between iBooks and these apps(vbz & vdr), ibooks reads out loud only upon selection. Vbz & vdr apps reads out loud whole book with or without selection.

This app is retarded. It reads every bullet and dash. Furthermore, if there is a blank line, it cannot go any farther. I am disappointed with the performance of this apple. I hope the builder can fix it or remove it from apple store all together. No one should pay for this thing.

Works well. It does sound a bit digital but once I settle in to listening I understand it very well. Really love the dialects font! The app does need a bookmark feature.

A useful app but it still needs some improvement. This may be still only an advanced app to read aloud pdf pages. This helps me concentrate to read the enormous information, efficiently stabilize them as my knowledge and ease my eye straining. However, there will be yet room of improvement. I like the crop feature added in this version, which allows us to skip the header and footer. If there is capability of cropping off the sides of the pages, we can avoid getting read the page numbers in some books. My second wish coming up to my mind will be the page gesture. In the current version, since there is capability of flipping over the page wherever I stroke my finger on the page, I have tough time to locate the red box to get to start reading aloud. If page flipping gesture is limited in the side of the pages, it will reduce my irritation. (E.g. Tap an allow or other gestures.) They are my current thoughts about this app.

Wonderful App. This app does a great job of converting written words to audio easily convert to PDF. Bookmarks.

Makes Learning Possible. This app is helping a lot with my studies. Read 450 pages in two weeks just during my 30 minute commute at 300 wpm. I bought the app in desperation to help make time for studying and it has almost completely freed up my evenings to spend time with my family. That makes a huge difference in that I can take classes without disrupting my normal routine, or I could take more classes if I wanted to. Note: Ghostscript or Bullzip PDF printers will convert webpages to readable PDF files.

Crashes. After flipping through a few pages the app constantly crashed

Works well once you figure it out. I bought this app despite people's warnings. At first I thought it was useless. The app was adding a space after the first letter of almost every single word. Therefore it would spell each word rather than saying it out loud. However, I emailed ther support and got a response quickly. You need to convert your docx into a .txt file. Then close and reopen with the text program. Then save as PDF and it works great. I really like it and it gets trough my administrative law outline well.

Don’t buy. I bought this app and used it for year then it stopped working lost all my books. So I reloaded it “and payed” within so many days it locked all my books and is asking me to pay again! And now I can’t get my stuff out again 😡 don’t not buy this app!!

Disappointed. Computerized voice. Pay extra for non US voices. Wasted my money.

Very useful app!. I am studying for a promotional exam, and this app has greatly accelerated my reading and comprehension of the material. I can read along with it, thus using two senses to absorb the material. It's also great because I can just listen to the material in the car. It only got 4 stars, because it is not great with abbreviations, technical terms, and for some reason it can't grasp the word they. It say t hey or something. Some of the material uses abbreviations without periods so these get jumbled into a made up word. It would be better if it spelled out capitals like FDNY.

Dyslexic child help!!!. This program has truly changed the life of our 15 y.o. Homeschooled daughter! She reads well, but too slowly for highschool loads, so, she can 'read along.' We talked to the author of her curricula, and they agreed to provide her texts weekly in PDF. Form. I open the PDF. My iPad invites me to 'open in' then I choose the vBookz button. The prompt for what language I want it in is offered. I push American. Then I move it to its place in line ...I.e, week 7 English, week 7 biology and so on. Then all she has to do is push read, and she can read aloud as the voice highlights each word it reads. She can choose speed too! Only reason I did not give a 5 is because I would like to be able to have separate bookcases per subject. Our bookcase is loaded with6 subjects, and it would be nice to have a bookcase category that I could open for each subject..other than that, this ap is amazing!

Terrific on iPad and iPhone.. Have used it for years on my iPad and now I have it on my iPhone. Works very well. Easy to import to it from email. I’d say its A or4.5 as an app you want and need and use regularly. I like the voice reading my writings. Helps with editing. Simple and fast, and is very effective.

Exactly what I've been waiting for!. Performs exactly what its meant to do. It has the best navigation and pronunciation out of all the readers I've come across. Drop in my books that I want to read or listen to and its a go. The navigation box that lets you know what word is being read out loud is a excellent Idea. would have never thought of that. My only issue with this would be the ability to bookmark pages manually. I've had times were it would remember the page I was on last and then the next time I came back to it the page I read last would revert to a page I read earlier in the book. However considering the lack of applications like this one and the overall polish of the app looks at this being of little importance. Add manual bookmarking and this becomes the defacto PDF reader hands down. I don't do many reviews but when I do, Its to either bash something terrible or highly praise it. This gets my vote. EDIT: this app was awesome until they took away the standard English voice engine the app came with. Now the reason I bought the app has been taken away from me. i would like the original functionality returned when I payed for it or my money back.

Made me pay twice. I’ve already paid for this app. Was prompted to pay again and despite the info on the FAQ page - I WAS charged again.

Won’t open. I have had this app for years and I adore it. Suddenly it won’t open. I need my app back

Awesome application. I am a dyslexic college student, and often have a hard time getting through reading materials. I started using vbookz this semester and it's made a huge difference. It not only does hearing the words make the material more understandable, but the box that moves as it reads is very good at keeping me from getting lost in a long paragraph of text. My only complain is that it isn't very good at reading equations, especially equations with integrals, derivative and/or greek letters. But even still, this app has become my main tool for getting through reading material. I have it both on my iPhone and my computer and use it frequently!

Waste of Money. Waste of Money

Great App. It is very good app for studding.

Waste of Money. This app absolutely does not work!! No matter what type or rotation of PDF you upload it says that a rotated PDF is not supported!

Not bad. This app is useful for reading textbooks for school on my daily commute. Of course the voice is not great and it mispronounces words incessantly, but I'm listening for content rather than entertainment. It's the best I've found; however, 2 things really need improvement. 1. Make it possible to navigate through a PDF with greater speed via the pdf's bookmarks or by simply allowing the page to turn without the app slowing down to analyze each new page. 2. Improve the app's ability to remember your position in multiple books. Currently it looses the current page at least one out of every 4 times I open the app, whether I've closed it completely or not! That, coupled with inefficient page turning makes the experience more cumbersome than is necessary. If the developers would fix these 2 issues I'd gladly pay twice what they're charging for the app.

VBooks PDF VOICE READER US. I was interrupted four times, at least, to rate this App. Can’t see the haste. The first version ( don’t remember if I paid for it) stopped working mysteriously and, although attempts were made to find the reason, I did not get a response. Transfers, on the first version, were easier than on this one. I could transfer books and had them read. This version is limited only to PDF files and transfers are time consuming. Also, my many books were not recoverable. I would not say I like or dislike it because with the frequent changes, I doubt I will have it for very long.

As a master’s student with visual impairment, this is incredibly essential. I don’t know what I would do without this app. As a person with visual improvement, it has had a profound impact on the way I consume journal article. I could have my journal play on this, whil I highlight on my computer. It is a must for anyone who need to veraciously consume contents. I can speed it up to quickly get an idea of the reading and can slow it down to find key details. I can’t say enough good things about this app.

vBooks PDF. Very disappointing. vBook would not work with university scholarly PDFs and was both a waist of time and money.

Great way to listen to PDFs. Not a bad app. It's not perfect but it definitely works well enough to use as a PDF reader. I use it to turn e books into audiobooks. Not bad at all.

Voice reader works well. In a two column pdf, it tends to skip the second column and flip forward to the next page...but not always. It's annoying to have to keep correcting it.

Only OCR. You can only use OCR scanned pdf. That info is included very briefly at the very end of the "more info". Misleading. It does read well. Suggestion: academic option that skips page headers and footnotes

Works great.. It's what I've been wanting for years. Finally can get caught up on my work while driving!

V books. It is w hood app I find that it doesn't have a good foundation of words and pronunciation for words that are used in the meat and animal industry's and voices could be more human like with a choice of voices. The book shelf is to small still Other then that it is a great app And resource

Easy to use without reformatting the PDF. 1. Interface - very simple and user friendly. Beautiful and intuitive layout. 2. Input PDF - as advertised can input files from Dropbox, email, and web pages. Occasional problems when there are too many programs installed that can also open PDF files. The first time opening a file will also take awhile, especially if it is a large file. 3. Speech - Overall clear, easy to understand, and accurate pronunciation. Easy to adjust speed and pitch. Cursor follows the flow of document extremely well regardless of the formatting of two columns, graphics, or tables. Wish-list: 1. Ability to play speech at lock screen to save battery while listening. 2. Ability to multi-task while speech is playing similar to other text to speech program such as VoiceReader. 3. Ability to highlight and make simple annotation while reading.

Does not work. This program does not work a waste of money, keep your money don't waste it on this program.

App deleted my membership!!!. I paid for it once, reinstalled to a new phone and it didn’t have the registered version anymore. So I paid again, and IT DELETED MY MEMBERSHIP AGAIN!! THIS IS NOT A LEGIT WAY FOR YOU TO MAKE MONEY!! PLEASE RESTORE THE FUNCTIONALITY OR I WILL CONTACT APPLE TO REPORT YOUR SCAM!!!

What happened with the new version ?. My favorite application. Reading while walking or driving on the autoroute... No waste oh time ... Really great ! Thanks for all the time saved! Suggestion to improve : let us put some bookmarks .

It doesnt work. It freezes my iPhone. When I try to get it to read some of the PDFs it came with I see a red box moving but no sound at all . Expensive waist!

Please update for iOS 11. We have purchased 40 licences, but are unable to use in iOS 11. Please update ASAP. (Request made on November 9, 2017)

Great app for people who have reading disabilities. I am a resource teacher at an elementary school and we LOVE this app for students with reading disabilities. Could you make the voice sound less robotic and give it better phrasing and fluency? Then it would be almost perfect!

I like it. It’s a great app. I found it very helpful to read many different books fast. But it would be great if you add an option to skip words in brackets. It’s very annoying when it reads for me a bunch of citations in bracket. Please fix that’s. thanks

Great App for Improving Comprehesion of Technical Reports. This app more than pays for itself by allowing me to read and listen to technical reports. I recommend for all persons who must stay current with technology. I recommend that headers and footer be deleted from the report or article before you create the PDF file used for reading. Pros: Adjustable speed; clear voice; Cons: Table and graphs, Headers a footers Needs: Always on-top 10 second review and start/stop buttons.

Very helpful. I'm impressed with its ability to know what's just crap on the page and actual txt. Great app for the cost. Thanx. I would like to hear some improvements on voice and smoothing out the treble and maybe just a touch of bass. Thanx

Audiobook maker. This app has really made it easier for me to work with my writers group. The quirks still take some getting used to though. I wish they would fix the bugs so that it could be better, but I still love it for the productivity boost.

Frustrated but the Support group is great. When I downloaded my PDF into this APP it loaded with the first letter of the word separate from the rest of the word distorting the reading of the PDF. (ie... Word would load W ord). I also downloaded the OCR Scanner to try and repair the PDF for reading but I received errors when trying to download the PDF to he OCR APP. The support group worked with me and compressed my PDF files inorder for the app to read. I am happy the the PDFs can now be read but some of the pronunciation is a bit distorted. But I'm happier then I was originally!

This is terrible...!!!. After putting in a search word, upon pressing search the second time, the apps shuts down. I thought the upgrade would have fixed it , but to no avail...!!!!

2. I'm disappointed : for the price i expected way better. You can not point from where to read. You must go from beginning of page. Squashes words and numbers. Kind of lame experience. The voices are not pleasant- meaning I will not be using it. Yes, you can understand 80% but sounds idiotic. The punctuations can at list be a bit more proper...

Use it all the time. Though there is room for improvement the program works better than any other I have found. Would be nice if folders were available to organize the library

Great product. Great tool for studying, reading, listening while driving. I was using this app for more then 4 years and considering it as the best on the market... Reliable, very intuitively, highly customizable, portable . Please, continue to keep the great work.

Works as advertised. Exactly what I was looking for. My job requires me to read tons of dry Annual financial reports and PDFs. This app will now read these to me as I drive to client sites. The voice is as good or better than the "speak" voice incorporated into the iOS, however the ability to speed up the reading (or slow it down) and the fact that you only need to select a starting point make this very easy to use and understand. Great app.

Erm.... Not really there. It does what promised but the interface (with optional muzak) and general usability are not up-to-date (Web 2.0 style lol). The voice quality is pretty much the same as what comes with iOS. Also forcing to select a country setting before each documents gets old quick -- probably an incentive for new sales. Anyway, one star for a good try, and another for encouragement. In hope of a more mature version -- save your money for now.

Awesome update. Love this product! You guys make it possible for me to get through books. I appreciate the update and look forward to more improvements. I would like a way to highlight like iBooks or kindle. But keep it coming!

Great If You Need It! (Can always get better). My expectations for this app were low but overall, I'm impressed with it. It's not perfect, but I'm giving it five stars to help support the dev team. E-mail support for this app is outstanding! They have responded to all of my questions in less than an hour! Students with learning disabilities need this functionality. Worth the five bucks if you need to read a lot of text-based PDFs. (image-based ones don't work - duh!) Keep up the good work guys. Thanks!

Great app ! Great support. Not only does the app work great the support behind the app is excellent. Had a problem with a PDF which was my end and they had a solution within hours. A+. Thanks again.

Second best PDF-to-text app. (I've switched to the newer version of this app: Voyzer. It does all the same stuff, with a better UI) This app wins because it's the only app that allows one to quickly crop every page in a PDF so that it doesn't read headers, footers, page numbers, etc. Suggestions: - in-app cloud syncing (the between app transfer is vulnerable to glitches with the other app and Dropbox, for instance, can be glitchy) - the ability to play/pause playback with the play button (e.g., the remote/mic button) - updated UI

Best of my 250 Apps. Needs immediate update as since new iphone update has 5 second gap in reading every 10 seconds. Iphone actually asks to have vbookz updated and says it "runs too slowly" so programmer Please!!!

A good app, worth the cost. Great app, great support, the've responded to all the emails I've sent. Both concerns I've had, the've addressed, one being a translation type feature where you can specify how a word should be pronounced when the software isn't saying it correctly.

I would give this a 5 but.... I would give this a 5 but the interactive cursor is distracting. It would be nice to have the option to turn this on or off. A toggle button in settings and when the pdf reading is on. The voices need to be work on a little more so that the voice does not sound so robotic. If you guys/gals can accomplish that you will truly have a reader that is unique from the competition including Apple's VoiceOver. Overall, the app does exactly what I needed it to do. Read my pdfs without just extracting only the text to speech which most apps do such as Voice Reader. The usability is definitely similar to iBooks which I love. Recap for hopefully your next release: Option to turn on and off interactive cursor (EXTREMELY NEEDED!!!!!) I almost didn't buy this app, because I couldn't turn it off. Work on the Voices. Cheers!

Exactly what I needed!. This app does exactly what I wanted. I was unable to hear any sound initially, and discovered there is a slight glitch. If the slider is set to function as a "screen rotation lock" instead of "mute", the app has no sound on the iPad speaker. To correct this, I went into settings and changed the function of the slider so it works as a mute control, and then made sure the slider itself is not set on mute. Now it works perfectly!

Exactly what I was looking for!. As a tutor, I needed an app that would easily accept a PDF via email, read it aloud, while highlighting each word so that the student could easily follow along, as well as maintain the look of the actual print copy page. It does all that! Thanks.

vBookz PDF. A fine app, and one that I use a great deal for listening to manuscripts (in effect, instant audiobooks) while doing chores around the house. HOWEVER, it would be far better if the app responded to headset controls, or at least stopped reading when the headphone jack is removed. Since my listening is often interrupted, I find this a continual source of annoyance and inconvenience. Would be 5 stars if this were fixed.

Awesome App. I am an amateur novelist and I love this App. It is a privilege to be able to hear your own book before it is even completely finished. This P.D.F reader does this and greatly aids in the editing process. Besides that, the sound of one's literary voice spoken aloud is very cool to hear! With these options and so many more, I recommend this P.D.F. Reader wholeheartedly. : )

Good, needs pause/resume. I really like this app now that it will read in the background. This has made it very useful for listening while I work. I'm leaving off one star only because it needs a pause/resume function with the button on the headset and the lock screen. Using those buttons now triggers the music app (or iCatcher, or whatever media player you last used). Well worth the small fee. Buy it!

Periods, headers, and footers. It would be great if they could identify headers and footers so that the body of the text is not interrupted by reading the headers and footers between each page. Even more frustrating is their inability to distinguish between a period at the end of a sentence and it's use is initials, abbreviations, or numbers. A numbered paragraph "4.2.1 History... is read as "4(pause)2(pause)1 History". "i.e." is read as "i(pause)e(pause)" and "vs." Is actually read as "versus(pause)". This can make the narrative very hard to follow.

Excellent app. vbookz PDF reader reads my PDF files aloud. It has never crashed. It remembers exactly where I left off. It shows me the word it's reading in a little red box. Settings such as reading speed & male/female voice can be adjusted easily.

Very Helpful. This app has been very helpful. Working and going to school full time make it difficult to get through all of the reading requirements. This app helps immensely. The voice reader sometimes reads something like "1990s" as nineteen hundred and ninety seconds, but I know the subject enough to know what she means. Fixing those glitches would be my only suggestion.

Excellent value for 4.99. Far better than using Accessibility gestures. Reads from page to page, easy to control speed, not interrupted by shake gestures while walking. Yeah!

Great looking app. Very nicely executed. I find it very useful for reading my documents to me as as I am driving, but I can see many other uses in education as well as business.

Excellent reliable. The way to get to finish all pdf books i had. Much faster and better than reading them. Highly recommended. Very fast and great reading voices. Looking forward to be able to bookmark last reading location or its ability to remember last location in a doc.

Pretty good reader; not so good navigation. I give it 5 stars for reading, but 1 star for ease of navigation. It sometimes seems impossible to leave the reading function when trying to get to the navigation menu bars. Patient persistence repeatedly touching the border around the text window will eventually open the menu bars. However, the reader is worth putting up with this aggravating distraction.

Amazing!. Just what I was looking for. Except wish that there was a way to edit the pdf at the same time, I have to use another app to do that. But anyways, amazing!

Good App. I'm a student and I can bike or run/workout and listen to books at the same time. When locking screen though it wil read fine. But after a while it will stop. I have to restart it reading again.

vBookz PDF Voice Reader US. I have been looking for a good reader for PDFs or ePubs it was either this one or another reader that was a little more. And I have tried a lot of different ways to get my iPhone to play books that weren't audiobook format and this one works great. Only thing is the program skips pages back and forth in the PDFs that cause me to have to go back and set what page I last was on maybe next update the voice reader will be smoother and it will remember where it last left off when reading is interrupted.

Great app!. I think it's great but it needs some more tweaking. I would like to be able to turn off the curser/highlight as you listen because its not always in the right place and is distracting. I use this app to listen to my nursing books as I study for my BSN degree.

Great for audiobook listeners. I learn better while listening and even following along. This app has helped me expand my learning options. It freezes and stops, but notice the five star rating. Very helpful to me.

Nifty app. All in all a good app. It gets buggy with some of my PDFs and either freezes and crashes or freezes then skips ahead. The simple text feature needs a lot of work it always crashes and freaks out freezing my iPad. Hopefully the developer fixes this but other than that it's a good buy.

Pretty neat. The app does a pretty good job in detecting the flow of text thought a page and converting it to speech. The text to speech engine itself is good, the pausing between words could be a bit better but all in all its clearly understandable. Now I can upload those PDFs I have sitting in my Downloads folder and listen to them while I drive to work.

Yup! It works!. This app has redefined speed reading!!! It may require a delete and re-download (at NO charge)--- but I swear it's worth it. I commute about 2 hours everyday on NYC subways, and this app makes the 100x more efficient. The $4.99 I've spent!

Very helpful app.. This app is an effective use of time. I use it to 'read' scientific papers for work at the gym and in the car while commuting to work. Few draw backs. The voice doesn't flow well. Tends to pronounce syllables more often than the entire word, which takes some getting used too. And it reads EVERYTHING, which can be frustrating when reading scientific papers. The Pauses are too long at periods, citations and tables.

Using it more.... I'm using the app more...and learning it's idiosyncrasies...I wish I could choose where in the document it begins reading...the ability to skip over tables, headers, and footers would be nicer. Thanks for making studying easier. Bjwillis58

Love it. I've tried a few text to speech apps and this is my favorite. It's the first I've found that allows you to see the native PDF file while it speaks to you. PDF's created from "true text" (vector vs. raster) apps speak flawlessly. However, PDF's from scanned documents with OCR will have artifacts, depending on the quality of the scanned doc. I deal with it. I'm an MBA student with a sleep disorder, and having an app like this read to me while I follow along is the only way I can stay focused and awake. Developers, Thanks for the app. A highlighting tool would be a nice addition!

Great app. Very easy to use once you watch the guide video... Nothing more and nothing less of my expectations overall a great app

The most Amazing App Ever!. Finally my iPhone reads my docs, not just reading but also having a magnifying glass synchronized with the speech. You can tune the speed of reading, and have larger text on landscape mode. Thank you vBookz for making my life so much easier!

Works fine, a few suggestions though. 70 book limit. Will not show any addtional books above 70. Wish I could make folders to catogorize the authers. You have to make sure you place the book in the "app" in itunes, it will not open a book any other way except if you preloaded it into the app. Other than that it works great for reading out loud to you. I hope that the developer continues to improve the pause / reading speed.

Has issues. I do like how it keeps the PDF as a PDF instead of converting it to a notepad style like others do (keeps the pictures and graphs). It does read footnotes which is annoying. Not worth the money but alot better than the other 2 I bought. If more voices it would be worth it.

Love this app but is seems to freeze and skip. It seems like after a while this app gets stuck. When it picks back up it has skipped a page or two. Very annoying. Also a way to set a bookmark would be nice because sometimes I open the app and it opens again at the beginning. Other than that, it's great except for a few pronunciation issues. I recommend this app to everyone.

Page flipping. Nice tts app, but the developers need to work on the page flipping function. Whenever I touch the sides of the screen, the readings stops and the page flips. The reading cursor is not very user friendly. It takes longer time to move the cursor than needed. I suggest that the cursor moves to the word needed to be read by only double clicking the word.

Great App. This app has save me lots of time. It has help me access so much info , to be digested in my brain. This app is Great. Only problem I have with it , that it does restart where you left off. And it does not book mark pages . Other than that its a great app.

Great PDF reader. Day 2: Works easy on my iPad. Files are easy to retrieve by email and web. I still have not figured out how to get files from iTunes. Good price for what it dose. I look at 5 others and I must say this one is the easiest and most effective especially for long PDF files.

Great App!. I couldn't get it to play sound because the physical mute button was on, bit I didn't know that was the problem, since Pandora was working, and I thought that button only controlled the ringer and text sounds, but it actually also controls the sound on this PDF ebook reader. Their technical support team got back to my inquiry same day to help me fix it so it would work again! How cool is that! Thanks for creating this app. I love it!!!

watch out for the PDF function. If you have PDFs that are scanned from a book or article (not true PDFs) you need to have them converted --OCR-- before this app can read them. I was disappointed to have purchased this app before finding this news out. I was looking forward to having my assignments read to me, but alas it did not work out. Otherwise great idea.
