Bad app. It works really great! I love how easy and convient this app is to use!

Can’t punch in or out !. App is not allowing to punch in or out for two days now. Uninstalled...reinstalled...restarted my phone. Doesn’t work. Perhaps they will fix it on next months update. This app is truly trash.

Works great. GPS Tracking spot on. GEO fencing makes it easy to secure mobile punching to only desired areas.

Battery drain. Please fix this from draining the battery Logged in at 7:am battery at 100% now it’s 9:am down to 65% I haft to close the app reboot phone to charge my phone

Horrible since last update.. Used to work fine, but now I can’t clock in unless tracking is set to “always on”.

Touch ID?. I like the app, but wish Touch ID was enabled. Love that I can see all my employees' timesheets in the app in lieu of logging in online.

App logged out and can’t get back in. This was working fine until the last update. Had all short cuts set up for logging in and since the update now I have to register over again but it says authentication not recognized. Great jobs guys!

Where did the pay section go. U can’t see the pay section anymore just the hours this they should definitely put that back on there

Unreliable. Every time there’s an update it seems there’s an issue. Last update I can’t clock in I have to have a supervisor manually clock me in. GPS locator stuck in a loop. I was told to update and that’s what caused the problem!

Hasn’t worked for me in almost a year.. When it worked for me it worked great. I have been getting a pop up on log in since July 2021 and have not been able to use the app.

Slower.... NovaTime has traditionally been slow, but the latest update appears to be running on a dialup infrastructure (no matter if I’m on WiFi or cellular). I know it’s just a time recording app, but it has to be faster if it wants to compete.

Not opening. I need this app for my phone. My work recently has changed over to using this system. Well this app doesn’t like to open on my iPhone X for some reason. I uninstall the app reinstall then type in all the information again then it works but once I close the app it doesn’t load up. Please fix

D*Ann near useless. Hardly ever loads and even on the rare occasion it does I can’t punch in because it just sits there loading over and over. I get great service where I am on everything else so it’s not that…

Version 3.34 broke sign-in and dash access. Most recent update (3.34) broke app functionality on iPhone 11 Pro - can not access drop down menu or “view dashboard” links. Was only able to clock in this morning by clicking “IN” at bottom of start page. Hope they fix this fast so I can log in on Monday!

Hate this app. Not user friendly and very glitchy

App. When I try too clock in using my phone in the app the red clock in button does not turn green.

You Kidding Me?. Won’t work for my second job that I just got. Utterly useless.

Won’t Let Me Log In. Constantly give me a message saying that mobile access is not enabled.

Location Services. It would be perfect if I was able to use Location Services "While Using the App". In the iOS settings, the only options I have for location services are "Never" and "Always". Therefore, I don't allow NOVAtime my GPS location because I don't wish to be tracked 24/7. Please update with an options to use Location Services While Using the App.

Time sheet default request. Basically a good app; however, it's a bit annoying to always have to change from Previous to Current when I click to see my Timesheet. Can this be changed? Please!

Much Improved!!. I checked the update history and noticed that NOVAtime Technology updated this app 8 times over the past 6 months. It seems like they are making a greater and greater investment in engineering, and the app is constantly getting better and better. Even though thousands of employees use the app and like it, I would guess that most of them are not inclined to interrupt their workday to write a positive review.

WHYYYYYYYYYY. I need this ap to clock in and out of work and it will NOT open!!!! It’s messing up my time sheet! The ap keeps closing out before I can put my pin in!!!

Horrific UX design. NOVAtime is stuck in the 90s. Their staff is not helpful in providing training, and the UX of the software is terrible and unorganized.

Time clock. I have been using this app for about 2 weeks for my job since they use this app for time clock. I am a night shift worker and i clock in around 9pm and leave around 6am. Every time i punch in, it kicks me off by quittin time (6am). Not sure if this is an issue with the app or if its localised just to us or a possible setting that needs to be changed

Great native app on the go. Scales nicely to the screen and it's easy to do things like approvals and request time off. A time saver.

Needs executive view = In/Out status board. I'm a business owner/CEO that uses Novatime. While we value Novatime, this app has very limited functionality for me. My most needed feature is am In/Out status board... Who is clocked in and at what time did they clock in. I would suggest a number of other features but the app also does not offer a convenient 'feature suggestion' link

Not working.. I’ve tried to log in, over and over again, changed my password to see if maybe it would let me log in then and still no luck. I have put everything in correct and I’m still not able to login to the app. Negative 5 stars for the simple fact that it makes it very difficult to login and get my PTO time.

Location Services. The app is great the only issue I am having on a IPhone 6sPlus is that when it’s time to clock in or out the GPS is not showing your location. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. And also had to restart my network to make it work. Can you please check this out and fix this issue.

Functional but slow. The app is slow and inconvenient, would be less so if it supported TouchID but instead you have to enter your password every time. At some point they also broke the layouts or they are only testing them on Plus sized phones because attempting to view your total hours truncates each column making it useless.

Great app to manage workforce. This app lets me manage my workforce through geo fencing, as well as scheduling. Everything you can do on the clock and desktop can be done here! Novatime has been a great decision for our org and this app has been a big part of it.

Terrible App. Maybe the web based version actually works. Constant errors, extremely slow response, can’t punch in 85% of the time when I try, gps tracking doesn’t reliably work either. Overall pretty bad app and I strongly recommend to avoid this company.

HELP. I need this app for my job due to COVID we can’t clock in using the finger print system, but this app won’t let me download it

Lead Supervisor - Manufacturing. Very easy to use & easy to manage my employees remotely.

Form and function both need work. The app allows a user the barebones functionality of punching in and out and checking a time sheet, but it does it slowly and without style. Each time punch is at least 4 clicks and takes a good 20-30 seconds to load, and the UI looks is akin to the program design in Windows 95. I am giving it two stars because it does what it’s supposed to do (most of the time), but there is huge opportunity in both function and form.

Can’t enter time since the update. The only time available to manually enter is 12am. This started to happen after the update 4 days ago. The app has no customer service number to call about anything. Very disappointing.

Easy to use; love the geo-fenced punch lock out. Our time clock employees can see their work hours and submit their timesheet. Our salary employees can input and submit their project hours for the entire pay cycle. A small number of remote employees can only clock in from their mobile app with geo location data linked to their time punches. All our employees are able to submit PTO requests from their mobile phones. All our supervisors can fix missed punches and approve timesheets and PTO requests. The price is right - a free app! We just needed our system admin to enable the features for each selected group of employees and supervisors.

Love This App. We have been using this app for several months and have found it very easy to set up, maintain and use. Our employees are in the field and this makes it easy to collect their time. We also use the app to track their hours by customer. So much better than our old method.

The update not good. Not sure what happened but you use to be able to see your previous worked hours on the app but now you can’t

Junk. 60% of the time, it works evernytime

Struggling. Editing punches and adding punches that were missed is a complete pain. Using my iPhone is not convenient which boggles my mind. I cannot access functions that my coworkers can on their androids. So sad we switched.

Kills the battery.. I use this app for work. Works great for tracking hours and locations. But, I discovered the app continues to run in the background. I used it to clock in, then locked my phone to work. 4 hours later, my phone was dead. After scrambling for a charger, I looked at the battery metrics. It showed I only used 2 minutes of screen time, followed by 3h 45m of screen off with Nova running in the background. Nothing else running.

Worst time tracking app I’ve ever used. Horrible. Nothing but issues with this app. I can from a company that used t-sheets and that app blows this out of the water.

Horribly Slow. Instead of redesigning the menu system it needs major debugging. It Is absolutely unacceptable for the app to repeatedly take five minutes (not an exaggeration sometimes it takes even longer) to load a screen especially when you need to clock in as soon as you open the app. It has done this to me both when my signal is good and bad. The old fashioned punch card/ pen and paper is easier and less frustrating than this app!

GPS not great. The GPS does not work on this app for me, always says I am miles away from my location & therefore I cannot punch in

Stopped working!. App was working perfectly until I updated to the iOS 11.3 yesterday. Log in tells me unable to retrieve data from the server. Reinstalled app but still same message.

Fantastic!. This app is easy to set up and easy to use while still being immensely powerful. The GPS location settings in particular are great and open up new possibilities.

App. The app doesn’t work.

Harder to punch. I love the ability to use an app. I can use the finger print sign in, that was a very nice update a while back. The newest update had grouped “swipe-n-go” and “group transfers” under the same heading. I want to be able to sign in and clock in with swipe-n-go. I don’t even know what group transfer is and I don’t need it. The menu button in the upper left is good for if I need to look up something but 99% of my use is signing in and punching in. And the last update has made that harder. So I give 2 stars for a bad update. Make a swipe-n-go default start page or a swipe-n-go button on the dashboard and I will be happy. I don’t want to see a group transfer/swipe-n-go button though. That just adds more steps and more things I don’t need. Perhaps a toggle in setting for those who need group transfer?

Update Ruined This App. The new update has made this app almost unusable. When I open the app, the “loading wheel” just spins and spins and spins. Sometimes, I’m able to actually click on the menu tab to view my timesheet. Most of the time, though, I have to kill the app and reopen it several times before it will allow me to actually view my timesheet. When it works, it takes minutes to load everything. I’ve started just using my computer because the update is so bad.

Amazing App!!. Works Great!!!

Not working at all.... Just download the application because it’s convenient to use at home and work with it. But it didn’t recognized the client code..

Leave button problem. When I try to ask for time off, the button to send the request disappeared. I can fill out the request, but can’t send it. Please fix this bug. I have an iPhone 6 Plus. Otherwise a great app.

Complete Waste of Time. Will not allow typing in username or password unable to login . Has been deemed frustrating and useless
