⚠️¡Please Read!⚠️Software Problems💻, Money 💴, and Lagginess and Glitches.. Very cool and very efficient for my meetings, but if you don’t have an account and you’re hosting a free meeting, you only have 40 minutes and when your time is up, without warning they kick everyone out of the meeting and nobody knows what happened. When a person opens a “breakout room” and another person tries to join, sometimes it will just load and load and nothing will happen. I want to take into account the Wi-Fi. Whenever these problems occur, I know to most likely blame the connection, but 90 percent of the time, Wi-Fi is just fine and it is the software connection. Sometimes, randomly the meeting will kick the host out and no problems occur with host’s internet connection. Pricing plans are out of this world, and I don’t understand cost-wise. I understand the program is expensive, but when income slows, I’m not paying as much as I am now. Zoom is ok for now, but I’d like somebody to take into account what I am saying. I hope for a developer response soon, and I hope they will fix these problems within the software.

The great app. This app is awesome because I can chat with my friends when ever I want. And you can make someone else host if you don’t want to be host. But the part that I really like is that if you are host you can mute everyone and turn their video off! And you can have a virtual background, you can volunteer to be host, and if the host mutes you, you can unmute yourself. You can also write a message to everyone. And my personal favorite part is that you can see as many people as you want. You can also turn audio on and off when ever you want. But one thing is that sometimes people’s screens freeze or you can’t hear them very well or there voice stutters. Another one of my favorites is that you can change your zoom name. But one thing that confuses me is that the app is called zoom. Why is the app called zoom if the app is for video chatting. Anyways, those two issues certainly don’t stop me from giving this app a 5 ⭐️review. And all because of this app I can chat with my friends every day. So I definitely recommend getting this app!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative stars would be amazing at this rate. Don’t bother downloading this app. Just because they send automated meetings, doesn’t mean they could do it again. I contacted them and asked what is going on. And they said “You’re having problems with Zoom.” What a waste of time that was. Not how I want a contraction to look like. Instead of trying to fix the issue and actually reading what the problem was, they immediately blamed it ALL on Google and threw it right back at me. When contacting them the second time, I explained to them, again, what the problem was. Hey, it’s THEIR web site issue, not a Google issue. Very inelegant and decentralised, they try to make the best out of it. I contacted them a third time (which actually was a 3rd email) and they pay for Google’s fault. Not cool. Absolutely decent. Some service you have. Zoom is notoriously cheap and treats its employees. No wonder they treat viewers the same way. They don’t want to fix the problem anyway. And to have a nice day. Their answer to me “same to you!!”. Wow, guys. So don’t even bother downloading this app just because they have attorneys. Lets hope your paying attention Zoom.

Student debt. Calls such as these, are more beneficial than anyone can say. Informative and effective in rallying the troops, and giving us direction as we work through this together. Like soo many things, we often times feel like we’re alone, example mental health or employment. But, in actuality, others are experiencing some of the same issues. SDC has hung in with this crisis from day one. I’m a senior, and we’re on a fixed income. We’re doing the best we can paying the private loan but we would be devastated even more if we had to go back to paying on the $100k+ federal loans. Thank you SDC for all your help. The call was great! The calls are always great! We just need the President to act on his campaign promise. I would hate to think that our hopes and our votes based on those promises, were for not. Just another wasteful act in our lives, but, you can’t say we didn’t try! MARCH ON!!!

Fast & easy. Had an app developer for a different app set up a video call time to ask opinions on a new service coming about one of my medical conditions. I hadn’t even heard of Zoom before, but when FT didn’t work, I quickly downloaded Zoom & it took zero time for us to be able to view each other’s screens, which was more imperative for her, but her being able to share screens with me that were still in development was extremely easy! Once I figured out to unmute her (a default setting, at least in my case), it was so easy to use, I didn’t need a tutorial or anything! It was a last minute, phone hook-up problem that I didn’t take time to read about the app or even see if a tutorial was there (I’m sure there is). So VERY easy to use, point & click & I was able to complete helping them, they being in Singapore & myself in eastern USA! This video chat could possibly be beneficial for millions of people, literally! Thank you, Zoom for making this happen! Would definite recommend this to others!!

Thank you!. Zoom has been a life saver for me during the stay at home order. Your video platform has allowed me to continue working from home, supporting teachers and students in our transition to remote learning. It has also kept me connected with friends and family. My brother has special needs and my parents are currently his caregivers due to regulations at his supported living home. He has had a very hard time the last several weeks because he just cannot comprehend why we have to stay away from other people right now. He misses his day program, his roommates, his bowling league, and even doctor appointments, not to mention our very large family gatherings. I created a schedule of daily Zoom sessions in a Google document with a recurring meeting Zoom link and shared it with family and friends, who use the document to sign up for times. Since starting the daily chats, he and my parents receive the social and emotional support the so desperately need. So again, I say “THANK YOU!”

Grateful to Mid-Nite. New York. The Mid-Nite has helped me so much. Here in Massachusetts, nothing is totally open for Aa meeting. I can’t talk to friends and family. Just my 3 daughters. Thank God for them. Also the treatment center I went to in Delray Beach Florida. Reco. The best thing I ever did. Great support system there and with Mid-Nite. I have severe insomnia. I stay on for most of them all night. I feel very lonely. I live alone and have ptsd. I know I am not supposed to fear. I did my steps. I do meditation and other tools that Teco taught me. Being with you all stops my fear that someone will come in my apartment and attack me. After I am done with your meeting I feel back to safety. I don’t know what I would of done with out you. I have 10 months sober. Thank you so much for continuing your zoom meeting. 🙏🏻🕯🌻. I tell everyone at my zoom meeting at Reco about your meetings Incase at night they need to talk. I highly recommend it for everyone! All ages! I love it and very grateful to all the host, volunteers . Please never STOP! Your great Mid-nite

I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am…. I am the survivor of an attempted murder by an active shooter. I now live with one bullet in my back and many pieces of shrapnel in my chest that require monthly doctors visits. This application has made this task so much easier and I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am. I live on a very fixed income and would not be able to afford this platform. The fact that I am able to access this without having to pay is so very generous. 5 star rating as this application has been easy to use and reliable….every time. And you needn’t be a “computer genius” to use this either. I was born in a time when the idea of the internet was totally unknown. To have the freedom to visually meet with others without having company or to leave your home would’ve been seen as “crazy” or “impossible” but here we are. For better or worse. This application, ZOOM is all for the better. Thank you ZOOM Team. Truly & appreciatively, Ian

Awesome 100 person chat app!!!. Quarantine has been made easier by Zoom group chatting and meetings. I’ve been able to work, keep in touch with family and friends, take my guitar lessons, keep up with my children’s tutors, go to church, catch up with everyone in the choir and sing for mass recorded through zoom. Thank you Zoom. Just a note though...please make sure you work really hard to fix any “hacking” that seems to happen with systems such as this...because if you make Zoom extremely secure then I know Zoom could very well replace Skype—which is awful now by the way—but you have to make security your number one thing on your list okay?...I’m sure you are, but please don’t end up like what Facebook has gone through and is going through. Good on you though for collaborating with your genius teams and creating an App that has truly helped during Covid-19 and bringing us all together. Way to go Zoom!

This is gonna be for all the versions. So I’ve been using Zoom for school because of the pandemic, and it’s good compared to other programs yet I do have SOME complaints, none of which having to do with my hate of using it all the time now. It’s great for having the meetings, but it overheats my phone if I use the mobile app way more than other video call apps and programs. I’ve also had to use the Chromebook version because my school provided that, but it’s way more laggier than PC or mobile. Chromebook also has a lot less of the features such as backgrounds and recoding the meeting as a guest and doesn’t feel as professional I think. For the entire program, app, Chromebook, and all, I think it’s great. Covid is keeping me online until, with the rising cases here in the US, most likely March at soonest if my school allows me online that long, it’s amazing. My sibling uses two other programs, one of which I used last spring in 8th grade, and when I compare Zoom to the two he uses Zoom is automatically the best of the three. It’s super professional for most versions of it and I think that for the covid pandemic it’s one of the best options I think.

From a student standpoint. Okay, so I had to get zoom because the device I was using died. But overall it’s fine, but for the mobile devices when our teacher shares the screen, we can draw on it and not on the computers! Also it’s glitchy, and the fact is that I have to use it for a while now. I’ve been seeing ppl but one star cuz they want this app to be deleted, but I think it’s good for non school purposes like contacting your friends who have a different phone than u ( ex. Apple and Samsung) can FaceTime. But pls take away the draw button on the mobile version Update: so I had a meeting and when the teacher unmuted us I was muted and a few others and on her screen we weren’t muted! But try harder but still good app Edit: so a recommendation is that the host (if they have chat on) can decide of which ppl can use the chat. (I’m just using random names here) like Tobias can use the chat while Patty can’t use it. (Again no disrespect to anyone reading this named patty or Tobias) cuz this one kid kept spamming me and I wished that he wouldn’t be able to use the chat..

It is a great app overall but it is glitching badly... It is an amazing app that I use with my friends and family. But there is two problems I am going to discuss and/or need fixing. First off, when the other person is sharing their screen, the screen they are sharing is very glitchy and choppy. That could use some fixing. Secondly, I tried to share my screen but it wouldn’t allow me to so I kind of gave up and went on talking. When I ended the call and went on with my business, this notification that said “Live broadcast to zoom has stopped due to: Attempted to start an invalid broadcast session” every where I clicked. If I went on my browser it popped up. If I put in my password to my device it popped up. If I went on anything on the same device that notification popped up on my screen. I’ve tried to delete the app but even though it was deleted it still came up. No matter what I try it still comes up. Searching up for help doesn’t work either. This is a big problem for me because it’s getting really annoying.

Administrator has too much power, and chat could use update 👍. I love this app, but I feel like the administrator has too much power. I would love it if you would improve the terms of service and add something to make the other users aware when the administrator is doing something like recording you. Another issue I would like to address is the audio problem. High quality audio is very important in something like a meeting, especially if you’re showing a video or doing other things. But I feel like the audio is not really as good as it can be. Device interference sometimes causes loud noises, but that’s not really your fault. But I do feel like there’s weird noises in the back, and I think it’s the app trying to block out other noise. If you could remove that, or add a switch to turn it on or off, that would be absolutely amazing! Otherwise, the app is very good! Thank you for providing this app for the world, espiecially during these tough times. 😄

Fabulous Technology, Poor Administration. I love Zoom, and I use it regularly. Most of the time, despite all of the changing weather patterns that are going across the United States and the world, it works very well with good voice and visual quality. My only disappointment is that they ran a special for $99 to have Zoom Pro and when I signed up it simply wouldn’t go through; wouldn’t process the payment—wouldn’t process until the next day when the price was up to the regular price of $150. Interesting that their credit card processing would not work while the special was going on, but seemed to work perfectly as soon as it went off. This is the kind of lack of integrity that I never expected from Zoom and do not receive on the technical side. So I guess I’ll just keep using the free version— it is a great gift! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Meadow S best friends with Lilly W. I think that zoom is great. Especially the new software update where you can for example have a slice of pizza on top of your head. Or 3-D goggles that aren’t really there but it is just a filter. You can also have a red and white checkered pattern bow on top of your head and you can have a shark mouth. It is really cool. I only have one complaint about zoom. When I try to do a virtual background, my face goes into the background. What I mean by that is when I had a solid purple background, my face was just a purple blob. You could still see my hair but you couldn’t see my face and the details. I do appreciate zoom and how it has helped us in the viciously boring corona pandemic. I think zoom and Bing it it is awesome. I also want you to understand if you are reading this review is that you can only have the pizza slice on top of your head and the red and white bow if you have the latest Apple software update on your iPad. iOS 14 or something like that. I know that this is getting really long but I want to give every single detail. Zoom has a chat and you were able to raise your hand. You are also able to put a heart or clapping hands or a thumbs up or a surprised face or a crying face or a party popper on your screen. You can also do a virtual background even though it doesn’t always work perfectly and you can also which is the best part talk to your friends and or family. I think that zoom is awesome thank you.

Your app has allowed us to keep serving God. This app has given our organization the opportunity to never miss a beat from day one of the quarantine we have met world wide to get our spiritual feeding through this app. Jehovah God has blessed us with so much spiritual food so I know God has guided us to your organization to keep the source of our spiritual meals flowing. Thank you for being the company you are and fir making the isolation bearable because of all the nuggets of nourishment about Jehovah God, His Kingdom and His son, Jesus Christ who died for all of faithful mankind. We have the commemoration of Jesus Christ’s death coming up so if you get a letter and you would like to attend just reach out to the person who sends you the invitation and they will give you the meeting information fir your area. Your app has allowed many of us to join meetings in other states and country’s we would not normally get to visit and hear the spiritual food. Thank you and keep striving to enabl people to come together. La Vonne

Last update made Zoom unusable. I am a volunteer tutor. I paid for my own subscription so I could tutor disadvantaged ESL kids. They live 1000 miles away (they moved from the town I tutored them in). We would use the white board all the time for me to teach and for them to also write on and solve math problems or many other simple things we would do on paper if I was sitting next to them. Now the kids can not even find the annotate buttons. They get an error saying only people in the group (or something like that) can share or write or I don’t know what (they are kids and parents can’t help). Sooooo frustrating. Zoom is useless to me now and to them. We have been Zooming for 3 years. Now you add bells and whistles and make it so complicated to do something so simple. I went to website and found very long videos talking about all kinds of permissions and controls and I do not have hours and hours to try to figure it out and then may not be able to tell the kids what to do. I WANT A SIMPLE WHITE BOARD THAT BOTH SIDES CAN DRAW ON. That simple. Like it was. Can anyone recommend something to replace zoom that will do what zoom used to do? (PS: former app developer here that can not believe the garbage that is being put out as apps)

Zoom!. What a wonderful way to be together virtually with so many family members, friends and classmates! I love hearing their voices and seeing their faces and home projects, including knitting, cooking special dishes, gardening and children’s artwork. It’s especially uplifting to enjoy virtual parties and classes together. Thanks so much for enabling everyone with a smart phone, tablet or computer to connect so meaningfully with others during our stay-at-home isolation during this apocalyptic pandemic. Your amazing free technology is a reminder for me to send more cards to sick friends, to telephone those who do not have smart phones or computers and to thank all those I meet who work in grocery stores and pharmacies to serve our needs basic needs. Also, I feel the need to send emails of appreciation to celebrate our brave medical workers, out diligent and truthful elected officials, scientists and journalists as well as emergency and civil service agencies and companies all working to protect our nation and fight COVID-19 and the economic havoc in its worldwide wake.

10 Stars - Zoom coped with COVID demand - incredible achievement!. We need to recognize that this corporation managed to expand its app to meet the sudden demand that emergency COVID quarantines created. How many groups could have met and sustained services with that kind of increased demand? I believe part of that was done with leasing bandwidth from other web entities but think of the huge increases in exspenses, staffing, especially technical support. They changed our history - what would the COVID quarantine have been like without all the business meetings, family conversations, ability to see and talk to our doctors and COVID-infected people? What about all the legislation, worldwide infrastructure and services that were able to go forward aided by Zoom? Yes, Zoom has become a part of our daily lives and it’s easy to take Zoom for granted. But during the crisis of 2020 and ongoing distancing in 2021 and 2022 these people worked hard, smart and saved many of us from the crises of isolation. Thank you, Zoom.

Make this easier to use No pop up,. I’m thankful for Zoom , but when I go to use it . I end up going back and forth trying to get to the meeting room with my password and my number of my meeting don’t worry I can do that is is copy and hope that it stays copy then I gotta make it back over there taking a link and then I keep waiting for this. I’m using an Apple iPad for this thing does pan out And quiet now so I can put in the password and the number of the meeting and push the button. It says let me into the meeting somehow another it got to be easier than that I get all kinds of anxiety is wondering if I’m going to get into the meeting or locked out could you guys use? Use APPLE and see what could be easier? Your information from the email and also at the same time You gotta have a window open so you can read the notes for the meeting So I try to use the computers sometime if that door is work But you need to let it work because I can’t put both On the same desktop OK thanks.

Great App! Would recommend it to anyone.. I have been using this app for a few months now. I’ve been looking at one star reviews, and I noticed some of these may not be the app, but the personal device or internet the person is using. It works on many platforms, so it really doesn’t limit you when it comes to accessibility. The chat you can use during meetings works amazingly well, and the app allows you to privately chat with one individual person. If you’re the host and you don’t want people privately chatting with each other, you can turn that off in the chat so that all messages are sent to everyone. The only thing I personally don’t like is the time limit. Other than that one thing, the app is great if you run a club or just want to chat with friends. Zoom also allows you to have a password set so that random people can’t put random codes in and join the meeting. And if your school uses chrome books, works great on those.

Not informed of “upcoming” upgrade requirement. I am a paid, licensed Zoom user and get on Zoom daily. It has been very helpful in staying connected through Zoom meetings. This morning, however, when I tried to join a meeting, my attendees couldn’t hear me. After several attempts to solve the problem, I got a message from the coordinator who helps us with problems. He explained that all groups were having problems, and he had found out about the upgrade. I searched on Zoom on my laptop and happened to find the upgrade link in Support. My laptop should now work, although all of our attendees have left the meeting. Hopefully tomorrow I can test the upgrade. Now I have been trying to find the same download link on my iPhone Zoom app, but there is no Support button that I can find anywhere. When I was in Support on my laptop, I read that this upgrade needs to be complete by May 30. I hope that I can find the upgrade for phones so that I can help my attendees to complete this upgrade, which I think they may also need to do.

Updated: Continually needs deleted/reinstalled on iPad Pro. Updated review Sept. 5, 2020: I have figured out a workaround to my problem. This app does not handle “Sign in with Google” well when a corporate account is being used. The workaround is to remember to SIGN OUT of the app before you close it, then the next time the app is opened you go through the two-step sign in process again. The app always asks for permission to sign in with Google, so I’m thinking this is what the app is not handling correctly? Can’t the app be made to remember the prior authorization(s) when opened? -1 star for this inconvenience. — Two stars because it works as hoped when it works. New 2020 iPad Pro 12.9”, bought for use with teaching this fall and Zoom support. App will only work when first installed from App Store and signed into my district account. When a new Zoom meeting stopped and app closed, later opens to spinning wheel on iPad and will not allow joining a new Zoom meeting, etc. App needs deleted and reinstalled from App Store to open again correctly. Will update review if app fixed or iPadOS starts playing nice.

Never, ever works when you need it to.. This app is essentially useless, because when you actually need to use it, it never works. Not with high speed internet, not with 5G data, nothing. I just had a job interview get completely ruined because this app wasn’t letting me sign into any accounts, even though I had tried with both wifi and data that were working fine on quite literally everything else. I even tried to make a new account with my apple ID and some foreign characters along with some numbers popped up in a warning box. Then I tried to just make a new account with something else and after entering my birth year, it said “Sign Up Failed”. I’m an adult, there’s no reason my birth year should cause signing up to fail. Let’s leave Zoom in the pandemic and let another app take its place, this is not even within the first 20 times this app has horrifically underperformed. Not sure why this is everyone’s go to, but i think it’s time for some other company to enter this market because clearly Zoom has gotten too comfortable with their severely below average services to be useful anymore.

Pretty useful but need to be more controlled by users. For “everyday” practical purpose, it is fine. But there are few things that I would like to see. One is more “set up” feature like allow me to remove “pin” whatever it is. Also allow me to alert the host the problems quickly without have to look through the list of “participants” just today, I discover the glitch which somehow didn’t switch the view to activate participant screen on time it always delayed until someone else decided to participate the meeting. Maybe it is due to Apple, Inc just upgrade my ipad that cause some glitch. I don’t know for sure. It just happen today, in the past it went fine. Also look like there is mid-level curve-learning. And for some reason, I couldn’t consult the instruction manual to help me to figure how the Zoom app work. Update information: there is something wrong with the app in dealing with “spotlight”. It used to be work great till last week where the appear of spotlight always “late” when the participant finished his or her saying for the zoom meeting. It seems to me it only affect iPad users. Need to be fix this. Right now, I’m stuck with gallery view mode to see the current spotlight to listen

Family Reunion. My cousin had the most wonderful idea! She asked all of our very small family - her mother, her two brothers, their wives and grown children - and her one aunt who happens to be my mother. My mom asked me, my twin sister and our grown children to also be a part of the zoom phone call. All together 11 out of 18 people were able to participate. The others were working. It was so much fun and such a joy to see my cousin Abby, the cousin whose brainstorm it was in the first place. We see each other once a year, if that and we always really love our time together. Today was so special. In this time of isolation from everything we know on a daily basis, our coworkers, our friends, our neighbors, our trainers, our grocers, our cleaners, our housekeepers, our landscapers, the people in our life that we take for granted that we will see every day, it was such a comfort to see our real and actual family. Thank you to ZOOM for enabling us to make it happen and thanks to my cousin, Abby, who I love so dearly.

Zoom. I mean, zoom is awesome, duh! I highly recommend downloading this is for your meetings especially just getting on with each other and having fun. A update that I don’t like so much would be the pro plan. The pro plan gets 80 minutes because each meeting in normal lasts 40 and it gives you another 40. (I’m not sure if this is accurate it’s just what I think). But it has the upsides because it has its very own chat! And you can have your own nickname. Kids use it normally as long as they are older then 6 or 5? Don’t correct me. Anyways, this app is pretty cool again because they really put hard work connecting you to your friends and family. If you download this you’ll just love it and want never to delete it. One time, (since COVID 19 is happening) I was with my class doing this and it was so much easier because I could keep them on mute and much other stuff. I also liked the backgrounds you could put on it. End of my Review, Zoom is awesome.

It’s a great app , but... Zoom is a great tool I used to study with friends, video chat, etc. and used to absolutely love it. It works great with SMS and provides a great alternative to facetime for those that don’t have it. However, the app added ridiculous time limits to meetings and it has gotten to a point where I can no longer use the app productively. They originally only had a 45 minute time limit on group meetings, so once the 45 minutes were over, you’d have to create a new meeting and resend the link. They then continued to add that same limit to one on one meetings which got slightly irritating as it would cut out and I would have to create a new meeting over and over again. While I thought this got irritating at times, the app was still functional so I continued to use it regardless. Recently however, they came out with a new update where you must wait 10 minutes after your meeting ends to start a new one. While I understand that they may want people to purchase premium, it has gotten to a point where you cannot even use the free version of the app functionally. The limits have gotten unbearable and there are many other FREE video chatting apps that perform a similar function. As a college student on a tight budget I simply cannot afford to pay for the premium version of Zoom and am absolutely devastated to have to let go of this previously amazing study tool.

Amzing! Suggestions though. This app is amazing! We use it for school, and it was my Grandma’s Birthday, So that was really cool we could talk to each other during this really hard time. I Have a few suggestions on how to make the app better though, when ever we share screens, my brother tends to draw and scribble all over it, is there a way you can add a “ Disable Drawing” button or something? And also, whenever you exit the app, The zoom meeting is still on, that’s great but you can’t see the person behind the camera, again, my brother takes advantage of this, and mutes himself, and uses the time to play! Could you please make it so, whenever you exit the app, like Disney+, It shows a little box with the video, and you can still see the person. I’m making these suggestion because I don’t want my brother to fail at school, And I’m sure that other people have this problem too, mabye not these exact problems, but mabye similar ones. Thank you in advance, This app is absolutely amazing!

Not business friendly.. This is the worst meeting platform for businesses with 1,000+ employees at mass scale. The integration is poor. Zoom developer team has failed to think of user experience for business users. Business users are too busy to type in passcodes three different times, between call-in versus app voip, and mobile to computer. We’re all too busy and running around and can’t be in front of our computer all day to log into a call or wait to be admitted. We need to be on time for meetings and jumping from one call to another and the time it takes to go through the zoom security protocols between phone or computer is time lost for all the meetings we’re trying to attend at the corporate level. This app has failed to meet our business demands. This company needs to learn from the Webex platform that has seamlessly integrated into our business environment. This review also goes on our company intrasite which will help guide senior leadership in rethinking the value of this investment. Which, (fingers crossed) they will realize was a BIG mistake and we will be returning to a more business focused platform.

Gallery too laggy to use on an old iPad. It’s a very useful app in this age of COVID. However, with the last update that let you view 16 people at once in gallery view on iPad, my old iPad gets super laggy. My iPad mini is over 6 years old, so it is slowing down. But I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’ve tried to find settings I can change to change it back to view less (like the options on computers to limit the number of videos shown at once), but I can’t find any such setting. I like the concept, it just isn’t practical for older iPads. The app: videos, including my own, and controls lag so much. Even audio is choppy. And when I go to swipe to other pages, it takes a few seconds, and all the videos black out a couple times before it switches. It makes gallery view useless on my iPad. I would much rather use my computer, but I don’t have a camera or microphone there. So if I want to participate, I have to be here, and only on speaker view. And I don’t feel as much a part of the meeting as when I can see more than one at a time

Awesome...but, it has some disadvantages.... It is a very useful app for online classes and work from home. I use it for virtual school since were all in quarantine and I like the idea that there’s a host and the host can control everyone (it is a very useful thing for the teachers). I also like the virtual backgrounds ,the raising hands and all the little things you can use while your in a meeting. I also use it to make group chats with my friends and its really fun! I really recommend this app...but, there are some disadvantages. Sometimes it lags horribly and no one can understand anything the person who is talking saying. There is also a lot of background noise if the person who is talking has a lot going on at home. I’ve also heard a lot of people say that it steals your personal information and strangers can get into a meeting. It hasn’t happened to me so I can’t prove it right or wrong. I still recommend this app to anyone who would like doing group chats with friends or have meetings about work at home! :D

Zoom is amazing!!!. This app is amazing! I totally recommend it. The part that I really like is that the host has control over many things. I like being able to control who comes in and out through the waiting room. It is also helpful to be able to lock the meeting. Being able to mute and turn off the video of you and others in the meeting is super helpful, especially as a teacher. The chat feature is great for people how do not want to unmute. Also you have a virtual background, you can raise your hand, make a reaction, share your screen and, so much more! But, there are a few downsides to Zoom. One of them is people freeze and glitch, sometimes you can’t see or hear them at all. It may just be the internet but, I find this annoying. Second, when you exit the app and you are are still on the meeting your camera turns off. I find this annoying when you are sharing your screen or accidentally exit Zoom. Lastly when the host shares their screen people can draw or write on it. This is so annoying and distracting. I can not find a way to disable this. Although there are problems, minor ones, I still enjoy Zoom. The problems don’t stop me from recommending zoom. Once those glitches are gone, Zoom will be perfect. I love Zoom!!!

Zoom A Great Experience. My Zoom experience has been very good for me, and I’m happy to have been able to use zoom because I live in a rural area. I don’t have to drive over an hour away to my appointment. I can visit with my physician over zoom. Zoom is a great application to help you navigate through your own personal experience with your physicians on a personal level without having any interruption. You can actually visually see your doctor, and experience a true professional medical approach to your appointment. I use zoom most of the time as it is more efficient for me, and also provides me with the opportunity to be able to see my providers at home. Being a person who has disabilities, it is very difficult for me at times to get around ,so zoom meetings are very important. Overall, zoom is very helpful for people to have access to use for different types of activities that they want. It’s a great application!

Landscape mode. Please support landscape mode for this app. I would gladly change this one star to five stars if and when you support landscape for iPhone. I used to have a Samsung and had landscape. I am very disappointed my new, state of the art iPhone that everyone brags about can go landscape in your app. Can you fix this? Update: After some research, I believe the problem is with the new Apple iPhones because they used to allow landscape on their home screen but do not allow it anymore. There was a discussion on zoom community that shows people complaining about this in 2021 and it still has not been fixed. My warning for users is be careful buying iPhone because Apple took away landscape and is trying to blame zoom. I would have bought a different phone that doesn’t restrict landscape mode as Apple has done. Sorry zoom developers. I hope Apple gets enough complaints to reinstate landscape mode.

Leesa. Jesse Took me on a beautiful and powerful adventure to recognize my inner child and what she wants which is joy and love and curiosity and learning. I feel so loved and so strong and powerful after this adventure with Jesse. I will step forward and talk to a particular man in the community and let him know what my dreams are. They are to create a loving space as in a Humane Society to help all of the animals in this community who are not taken care of and loved. I want to create a no kill shelter and to aid me in doing this I will need to communicate with the community and let them know how powerful they can be to help these animals and to love them and care for them. I will be able to communicate with our city Council as to why we need money to obtain the nurturing and care for these animals. We are the entities who have the responsibility and are in charge of all the animals on the earth and we need to do things in a very loving and humane way. This recode session was fabulous and I am so grateful. Love and Light to ALL 🥰♥️🌞🌝💖 🐶🐈🐕🦚🐐🐎🦜🦮🐓🦃🐖🐏🐾🐾

it’s good but…. for online schooling my daughter would Zoom. sometimes, random times of the day, during her classes she would be downstairs. i would ask her why and she would tell me that it’s not allowing her in the meeting. she said she contacted her teachers and they said she can skip but she needs to make up the work. i would sit with her at the table from 1 pm when she got out of school to 8pm once we were done doing work. she would complain on how she needed to be in school and i of course agreed with her. even on our vacation to florida we tried it at the hotel and it still wasn’t working. i would send her over to my fathers house during the school day to see if her zoom would work there. nope. tried multiple ways of getting her on the meetings and it wouldn’t work. this isn’t seeming like our problem. more like zooms problem. zoom works for my husband and i but not my daughter. luckily my other daughter is already in college so we don’t have to worry about that. but still, zoom will be a no-go for me. rather be using facetime.

Zoom has perks but one flaw or maybe two. Ok so I’m not sure if my review came listed so I’ll try again in case it does not show so here we go I got zoom a while ago I was introduced to it and I liked and plus used it for when I had meetings with my job coach and when Covid-19 messed up family gatherings and visit and caused a lockdown so I introduced my brother to it and he uses it same for my friend Matthew and there is a few flaws in the way one of them is the call meeting limit for those that don’t have the whole zoom plan and apparently I am not pleased with having to make new rooms over and over again everytime it’s close to the limit waste of my time second is I want to find the option to go to the full plan on the mobile app but where is it???? I can’t seem to find it at all please for the love of god add it to make life easier for mobile users that would be a big help. Appreciate the app but if those can be fixed I’ll consider a more suitable review in the future. Thanks

Zoom is great user friendly software. Zoom has done a good job in providing user friendly, easy to use videoconferencing. I think it’s secret is the minimalist icon based controls. Video is such a data rich medium to begin with so the simplicity’s of the PPP zoom app allows users to focus on the material being presented without a million different options of menus. After selecting the zoom meeting link, Shazam!, within seconds I’m inside the meeting. Love it. Only thing missing is more backgrounds. Or the ability to easily make one for yourself. To be fair, I mainly use zoom to join meetings or ‘rooms’ created by others. I have no idea how easy or complicated it is to create a room or meeting or manage a meeting with multiple rooms with a smaller subset of the larger meeting. So to be clear my review doesn’t cover those process. But from the experience of just an attendee, it works well.

Zoom on iPad Today. Yesterday I spent almost 45 minutes working with a knowledgeable tech mentor who was helping me navigate Zoom on my hp laptop. We finally reached a point where I could get onto the app and up to the point of "Join a Meeting." However, in trying to connect with my meeting today, after 3 failed attempts to get into my meeting on the laptop, a member of the group called me on my iPhone. He used his speaker so I could at least hear, if not see, the other meeting attendees. I then got my iPad, and was finally able to join the meeting - after having lost a full 45 minutes of the meeting! Not only did I miss a great deal of valuable conversation and information, I was lagging behind and trying to catch up the rest of the time! This is untenable! It is frustrating and maddening to be unable to connect with the others through Zoom! It is my understanding that another avenue of connection is being sought. I can only hope that it will be more effective, because due to Covid restrictions, we are at the mercy of technology, and must meet virtually. I plan to try to speak to a Zoom representative today who can hopefully assist me to be prepared for next week's meeting - using my laptop. Who knows what will come of that, or even if I can make a personal connection? We shall see - Allegra Yancey

Improvements are needed!. Some improvements are needed for example: 1. The Clear history. Their should be a way to clear only certain parts of the history and not the complete field. For example, I take a class that the ID# changes for the winter, spring and summer. I just want to get rid of the old #’s only for that one class. I tried to do that and it cleared out everything. Which meant I had to re-enter all those numbers that I needed to keep. WHAT A PAIN!!! You should have a selection of what you want to keep or not keep without having to clear out the complete history field. You should also add a section where you can put in notes. For example yoga 930 the note would be Jennifer. If this feature is all ready in the app where is it?! How do I get access to that feature? I can’t seem to find it. And this is something else that should be added. When you come out with your next upgrade can you please consider adding these features in? Thanks. P. Tennyson

Zoom has been fantastic to “meet in person” during this challenging time. My husband and I lead a weekly Small Group Bible Study in our home. When the stay at home was put in place we did not meet for two weeks and so missed the study, fellowship, and “seeing” everyone! Zoom has been a wonderful way to meet each week! We are 77 and 81 years old and our group is also made up of Seniors and one lady is blind so many would think we are “too old” to be able to use this type of technology however in spite of the age factor and the fact that we all have different devices, Zoom is very easy to download and to host. Thank you! I also enjoyed hosting a birthday party for my husband’s 81st! Three of our children, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren were able to attend thanks to Zoom. I also like that I can search on my phone for answers when an attendee is having a glitch and can chat the help to them. Thanks Zoom! Sue Hausmann

So far, so good.... The only thing that really puzzle's me, is that I only use Apple products, so on my iPhone, iPad, and iMac, I expect this app to want to use my Address book which is filled with all my friends and contacts. I do not use Facebook, or Google, or anything else to store my Contacts. Seems to me they need to consult with Apple Support on how to do that, but it has not happened yet. Please fix adding Contacts so that I can use my devices as they need to be used. As it is right now, I cannot add contacts from the services they asking me to use. I did forget, I am an iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS user, not Google or Microsoft, or anything else. There are no In App Purchases for what you call Pro accounts. We only use this for church services and would need 70 minutes most of the time. Make it possible to upgrade with In App Purchase, or at the very least allow the purchase of minutes for what we need. Have tried to find out how to upgrade, but the app doesn’t allow it.

Zoom is awesome. Hi there! I was reading the comments and reviews the other day, and I was so surprised by what everyone was saying. I mean to say is ppl rated zoom by only 1 star when it deserves 1 MILLION stars!!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE this app! Creating a waiting room was a brilliant idea and sharing screen is also brilliant!!! Me and my friends use zoom very often during the pandemic, we often lock the meeting so to those who had unwelcoming guest put a waiting room and lock the meeting. I know everyone has different experiences but I believe zoom is what so ever amazing !!!! Keep it up!! One thing I wanna say is I want to be able to request to the host to be unmuted, like when the host mutes everyone and I would like to say something and be unmuted, I would like to simply press a button that is called ‘request unmute’ and on the host’s screen a something pops up that says I wanna be unmuted. Thank you so much for keeping me entertained and busy and excited. Now I’m hooked onto my friends during coronavirus. Thank you so much!!!!! Thank you, Ur #1 fan!!!!

Phone number and password are entered on different screens😐. I wasn’t able to sign in from the link I received via email. I downloaded this App and then requested the phone number and password from the host. After you enter the phone number, the next screen that will generate is where the password is required. I felt Leary about hitting the next button from the phone number screen, because so many Apps out there, kick you out or send you to an error screen with one little misstep. If Zoom where to add that the password will be entered on the next page, then I would give a four star rating. For me Five stars would be a perfect easy use of the App. Very few Apps out there are five stars. Users seem to give five stars without really thinking about what a review is about. It’s about the next person who is doing something that is important to them. The same goes for one star reviews. Very few Apps out there are one star. One little aspect that someone doesn’t like while using an App, shouldn’t automatically be one star.

While coerced into separation, Zoom Connects. I feel thankful for the Zoom app because of the social and even emotional and spiritual connections it facilitates under the difficult circumstances of Covid19. It is a blessing from heaven to be able to continue connections with others through this group meeting app. Separation will never win over, so should this app ever fail, another will replace it, as I know in my heart that the powers of heaven will prevail in keeping people connected for a Purpose no adverse circumstance can overtake, so we can take courage and comfort in that assurance. I believe this app was created as a preparatory premonition to which adversity we have been subjected. I acknowledge God’s hand in all things and hope others will consider it, too, as that will open the windows of heaven, allowing the talents about us to be used for good, such as this inspired app. Never underestimate the power of little things (choices), as there are no little consequences.

Love it but Fix it please!!. I love how easy it is to use and its been a lifesaver for families and businesses during these difficult COVID days. However, I just used it on my computer this morning and it was fine. After my call, it said there was an update so I downloaded it and then tried to use it again this afternoon for another meeting and it wouldn’t give the sound!! What happened?! Overall, its truly been a great tool for our social distancing and perhaps it will be used more now that people are used to it. It is very easy to use, even for those who are technologically challenged. I ended up using my iPad for the afternoon meeting but had wanted to use my laptop so I could see everyone and on one page. With the iPad, you have to swipe to see whomever you can’t see from the first page of 9, but it is a little disconcerting because you always see 9 people on a page; not 9 on the first page and then the remaining on the next page, which I would prefer. But again, it does work overall for meetings and is very easy to use.

Still not great... It’s hard for me to believe that after a year of everything being online, the leading video meeting platform still has some glaring issues on iPhone. The biggest issue I have is the fact that you can’t hear someone’s shared screen audio unless you are looking at their screen. If you swipe to look at 3 faces at a time (another limitation that doesn’t make sense to me - there should be an option to see more people in smaller boxes), the sound of the share cuts out. If you swipe into safe driving mode, the sound cuts out. Pull down your notification center or control center, look at your home screen, lock the phone, everything causes the sound to cut out until you return to look at the screen share. What baffles me is that none of these problems occur if only sound is being shared with not screen share, you can hear it anywhere just like someone’s voice This seems like an unnecessary limitation (or an awful glitch if its unintentional) and I hope it gets fixed eventually.

Zoom is great, but needs presentation features and note taking features updated to get full value. Hello! I am a college student that switched to online learning during the pandemic. All of my professors use zoom to present, for lectures and meetings, and for office hours. Zoom has made attending all of my classes more convenient. However, one improvement that I would like to see is the note taking feature. My professors tend to lecture on zoom and use its features to draw graphs and take notes. However, they have to cram things in because there is a limited area to write notes. Also, their notes tend to lag and come out messy. I think that if there was 1) a feature to automatically draw lines and shapes, like the features found on note taking apps such as onenotes, notability, and iCloud files, and 2) a wider writing area, then presenting and lectures wouldn’t be so difficult and copying notes would be more continent. Also, with these features being included, more professors would not be so hesitant with switching to modern and new styles of teaching. Their classes would become more enjoyable and comprehensible.

Business owner Tonja Lee-Jordan. Zoom is a great opportunity to hold business meetings and share new opportunities for every individual. The world has experienced major changes which requires major changes in our every day livings. I have the opportunity to show presentations regarding ownership and part time income for people looking for a change in income, dreams, provision for choices and a road map designed just for them. Every situation pertaining to life is different for everyone but those things which are essential can be provided by changing your mindset and work ethics. Zoom gives me the opportunity to be in more than one place at the same time connecting with winners such as myself. I would love to share with you the opportunity that changed my life with zoom and a made up mind for any challenges I am having to face. Please join me at changing people lives on daily basis.

Great, reliable app with excellent UI. I work for a large global company and we use zoom every day on our desktop computers but I was pessimistic about its ability to translate to a workable mobile app. Having used the app now for more than a dozen on-the-go meetings, I have to say it has easily exceeded all expectations. I love that it’s UI is so easy and intuitive for all the most common tasks I need to perform. I can join with my corporate account, pinch to zoom into even the smallest detail on someone’s shared desktop screen, I have complete control over audio and video, it has a driving mode I can easily mute/unmute in the car and then switch back to screen viewing when I arrive, chat between participants is easily done and today someone seamlessly pushed us into a breakout room to continue our discussion. The folks I’m meeting with are on desktops and they can’t tell I’m on mobile. Just brilliant. Great work development team and PMs. This app is a pleasure to use.

What a great app!!!. In a time when the whole country is in lockdown and my friend was sitting “Shivah” in mourning for the passing of his dear mom ob”m, not having the chance to mourn with friends and family, say the “Kaddish” the traditional Jewish mourners prayer and prayiywith a qouram of at least 10, which besides endangerinythe lives of others is against the law of the country, ZOOM provided a great amount of comfort allowing friends from far and near, even from across the sea, to pray together, mourn together and comfort each other! And all for free! Thank you ZOOM! You guys will surely be blessed by Almighty G-D, for what you have done for us and countless others around the globe!!! The quality of video and audio was EXCELLENT! Thank you! Daniel Kaye, NSW, Australia

Works surprisingly well. Used Zoom quite a few times now and am getting used to the program. Generally works very well, we have had up to 9 people involved in our own sessions and been in a few sessions with more than that, generally no problems as long as everyone has a reasonable internet connection. If there are a lot of participants it helps to mute microphones. Well worth a look, and you can do quite a lot with the free version, especially if you tend to have short meetings

Fast but not Ux optimised. I like Zoom but it needs to resolve some critical issues. It must be 100 % clear when I'm muted or when my video is on. I've had multiple calls now where the mute was not set properly for me or others. There is either a bug or Ux issue. Please change it so the my mute status is visible on every screen. The "tap to speak" screen is the most problematic here. Further, video should always be off by default. It is an invasion of privacy to have it auto on. Per privacy standards, I should always have to actively allow video per call! I've had numerous customers unaware that the video is on and they are being watched!

An amazing teaching tool. Moving to Zoom saved our college literally tens of thousands of dollars a year compared to the last program we used for meetings, teaching and clinical supervision. We have about 5000 students, and more than half of those use Zoom for online classes. It is a stable, easy to use platform. We do individual sessions and classes of up to 24 students and their teacher. You can use it for free for meetings of up to 40 minutes. And the paid subscription is really affordable if you need longer sessions. Follow up comments. Now working as a psychotherapist. Just amazing how well people can feel connected with Zoom. It meant our large clinic was able to support the community (and across the whole continent for face to face counselling during a very stressful pandemic. Life-saving stuff. Literally.

Zoom is great!. Zoom has been really helpful across these last couple weeks because I’m stuck at home in lockdown. One problem I often come across is that even when my wifi and the others on the meetings wifi is good we all are laggy and it’s annoying. But other an that zoom is a great platform to keep in touch with your friends and family that you can’t see at the moment.

Access to worldwide webinaires from my home. I frequently join zoom presentations from across the world in my professional field, and they are easy to access and are clear, no delays, I can ask questions or just observe. Zoom helps me gain my PD/CPE points so easily. My child completed his final 2 years schooling on zoom, and got into university, so I am extremely pleased to recommend it.

Can’t use multiple apps at once. It’s an amazing app and I cannot fault it. However there is a problem as you cannot access other apps whilst you’re in the zoom app and maintain a call. I’m a student using this to hold meetings with teachers on my IPad Pro however when we are asked to type in a document or access information on our online classroom I cannot. As soon as I leave the app it boots me from the meeting. The use of multiple screens at once would be amazing such as you can have two apps open at the same time to work whilst still on call.

Virtual assistant is useless, help service useless. I asked the virtual help assistant “how do I upgrade my plan?” And apparently it doesn’t understand that I want to pay money and make the company some profit, but fully understands when I tell this virtual assistant that it is useless, and got defensive. Ha. Now i managed to upgrade it, i found i could not unmute meeting participants. Zoom told me to simply change the setting, then make sure to toggle the rewuest to unmute for meetings. Ha. There is no such setting, and ive tried again to get help, and all i can hear is the crickets out in the back yard. Pathetic service.

2020- most used app... Well.....I can say that this zoom app has made our 2020 more interesting and useful..... otherwise the year 2020 would have been soo boring.... this zoom app gives us the feeling of being in our own colleges ..... with our lecturers and friends... it has kept us connected to our academics and with our lecturers in a very awesome way!!!! Thanks to zoom app for making our 2020 meaningful and useful!!!!

OMG Zoom is the BEST. I can talk to every single on of my friends all at once!!!! Zoom is the Best thing I have ever asked for 🤩🤩. During this terrible Corona Situation Zoom is the best thing to talk to all friends at on time!!! If u r reading this I ask u download this video at once to talk to all ur friends while it is to hot or cold outside or~~~ ur just not allowed outside for a pacific reason. So get this app now🥳🥳 and through a party with ur friends and ur self on ZOOM🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🥳🤩🥳 is ur mind blowing or not🤯🤯🤯 Pandaplayz (Abby Rose Shackles Brumley) 🐼🐼🐼 I love Panda 🐼 🐼 panda 🐼

Awsome!!. I mostly use this to get in touch with my class mates and it is a really cool app to use for not only class work but also to get in touch with family and one thing they could work on would be better camera quality so they could be more clearer but other than that it’s an awesome FaceTime app and can connect more than 10 people, I would definitely recommend for you to download this and give it a go yourself, that’s why I chose to give this a 5 star rating!

Warning: they do NOT REFUND. I purchased a monthly subscription (thank goodness or I’d lose more money) to use with my students. I used Zoom on an iPad Pro hoping for gallery mode viewing of my students while I screen shared but this technology was not available. Spoke to an online technician and they confirmed it was not available so Zoom was unable to meet the only requirement I needed it for. Spoke with the billing department and they are unable to refund anything even though today is the first day of my lesson and I cancelled right away (I swapped to Google Meet half way). They did not offer me free trials beforehand so I was unaware of this lack of technology and the online assistant mentioned “free trials are given randomly” so too bad I wasn’t selected. Would not be recommending Zoom to my colleagues or students. I am using Google Meet now instead. Much better video quality, free to use and has the technology I require.

Zoom to the Rescue!. When COVID hit the world it could have been a real threat to the work I do as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Being familiar with zoom from using zoom in the past meant an easy transition to seeing my clients online. Some people needed some help to get started but it has been so good to have been able to use zoom. I led a busy social life when we were in Stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne because of zoom, I was able to maintain my spiritual journey, I could keep seeing all my clients, support isolated friends and we ran successful groups over zoom! I really like zoom!!

Needs File Transfer option, unless I missed it.. Works fantastically on my iPad and iPhone when I need to attend a call, seminar, or presentation of work whist on the go. The audio and display are clear and near-seamless. However, I am unable to receive files sent via the Chat window (unless I’m on the desktop version), which spoils the experience of complete mobility. It would be great if I could receive documents and other files over Chat like one normally would on the desktop version of Zoom, but alas!

Intuition. Thank you it was wonderful connecting with such a wonderful open group of people . Thank you to the facilitators you were all kind and gave clear direction and all inclusive. To be honest I didn’t know how I was going to make through the day cause I suffer from fatigue but I did make it and it went by in the blink of an eye. The dancing was fun and invigorating almost felt like a tic toc session. It made me laugh. I also felt the facilitators were powerful in drawing out and giving guidance and making us feel confident in our intuitive abilities. I was awestruck with my and others intuition. Thanks so much! Very much appreciated.

So simple and reliable. Have loved using this app, it’s light enough that it doesn’t freeze all the time like other products, even the unpaid version is fantastic. The only feature I wish they would add is allowing you to see more people on one screen, even with smaller thumbnails, that would be a fantastic addition to the functionality

This is a suggestion!. Hey zoom manufacturers! So I was just wondering if you could add an option to set a custom ringtone for calls and message notifications. If you can, that would be great! Thank you! Also, zoom isn’t letting me change my profile picture. Whenever I try to change it, it goes back to the default picture. Do you know how to fix this issue? Please do an update so you can make zoom better for everyone. Thankyou!

Dont send data to Facebook. This would be 5 stars if you didn’t share our data with Facebook! Edit: They listened! Privacy is of great concern to all consumers and Zoom has stepped up. This app is wonderful and helps keep in touch and remain productive in these strange work from home in these trying times! It has all the features you would expect and has performed exceedingly well for meetings, lectures and general chit chat!

STOP SENDING ME LOT OF EMAILS!!. I downloaded this app because I needed bit zoom always sends you a lot of emails. I love the app. I really do! But more than half of my inbox is filled with emails from zoom! They should really send less emails to you. Zoom is a great app and it has so many amazing features but they send way to many emails. I would recommend this app to connect with companies, friends and family. It’s an amazing app. The only reason I rated this four stars is because of all the emails they send you. I would have rated this 5 stars if it weren’t for the emails.

Amazing but one problem. Ever since the virus started we have been using zoom for school and next term we will be using it every day and since everyone talks at once while we all join onto zoom to fix that issue our teacher tells us to mute ourselves and he asked one person at a time to answer a question and this keeps everything nice and quiet. Just one problem I was trying to get onto the zoom meeting one day and just saying I never got on but I was trying to get onto it and I couldn’t it kept on saying something like internal meeting only and I had to use a different account to log in but that still didn’t work so I ended up not being able to join the meeting it’s was also saying stuff like update to full version with more then 40minutes and I’m fixing the issues now.

Audio is bad. When connected to a meeting they could not hear me from their end on their laptops- the device I was using at the time was iPhone 8. It’s definitely not my device at fault because I tried immediately calling through my other calling apps such as Viber, Facebook messenger and what’s app and my voice was coming out clear as day on their end. I’ve also gone through all my phone settings/microphone settings/Zoom settings etc and there’s no issue there. Second time I tried zoom with a friend to see if it works to another phone and they could hear me but it was barely audible even with their volume maxed out. Please fix this issue ASAP because many of us are in for at least 6 months of working from home and zoom meetings with this coronavirus situation and it’s going to be very painful if I can’t get this to work. Thank you.

Zoom keeps shutting down/ won’t connect properly.. Today, Zoom keeps shutting down/ won’t connect properly. I seem to often have difficulty each time I need to use it. Today it wouldn’t start at all on my MacBook Air & I had to force it shut several times to be able to restart or shutdown my computer. I couldn’t even open the meeting in my browser. So I resorted to using my little iPad Mini but couldn’t access the chat room so had to get files via email or sms or WhatsApp. Very stressful when you need it all day!

Great. This app is really good I have only tried it for a day because with online learning we use teams so yeah today was a great experience using zoom and I got the hang of it so yeah zoom is really good thx like I said we use teams for our work but today I had a session with zoom it was great but one thing is that how do we change the background apparently we have to go through settings 😀😀

Short overview.. I am a child of post 2nd WW so I've grown up with a time in history with THE most radical changes in life. From our industrial to health to social norms and yes even faiths. It has been a huge ask of the elderly to put an iPad under their nose and say "Just put your password in and you can join a scheduled meeting with your friends........ ??Really? My friends are miles away and some are overseas...how so? ZOOM. SO some patient person explains ....and if you go to x and enter a number before you then put in your ID and away you go.... Yes even a 75 year old lady with compromised sight can sit happily in front of her iPad and ZOOM anyone anywhere. No hiccups no problems and all the while giving an opportunity to unite friends family and the like. It's EASY it's EFFICIENT and it's the best thing since sliced bread!!!

Amazing, But some bugs. Zoom is the perfect social platform because of what’s happening right now. Like I love how you can create your own meeting to chat with your friends because you normally can’t do that when the whole class is in the meeting. But, there are some technical difficulties which cause glitching which means we won’t get to hear something that might be important. Sometimes it also just kicks me out of the meeting out of nowhere. That usually happens when everyone is talking, but my wifi is perfectly fine. I’m pretty sure glitching is caused by my wifi or other peoples wifi, but it’s just really frustrating that I can just get kicked out of the zoom meeting and miss a part of an important lesson.

Functional but many half baked features. All in all it does the job but so many things feel half done. After creating an account and adding users you would expect you can then interact with those users. Logging into the zoom app and choosing contacts doesn’t show a single user as a contact. If you want to see your users as contacts you need to manually enter each of them and each user has to do the same for themselves. Create a scheduled meeting and there is no ability to select a bunch of users from your account as invitees. You need to copy a link go out to an email package and email them a link. This also means that they don’t see a scheduled meeting pop up under their own zoom login unless they created it, they need to rely on an external email invite. Sure you can send an invite to a user during a meeting but it’s a bit late after the meeting has started. I would have thought these were basics. As I said the system works but the workflows really need some attention so there isn’t so much wasted time jumping in and out of the system which should only be necessary when interacting with non zoom users

I love the ease of Zoom. I’ve been using Zoom for teaching, family catch ups, 30 year reunion with an international bunch of friends…. It has been outstanding every time. I will be working differently for the next few months and just went to cancel my account to save a few bucks while I’m not using it. I just want to praise you for the transparency and ease of being able to cancel my subscription at this time. There’s no hidden fine print or hard to find cancellation button as other subscription services often build in. I’m very grateful. I loved that a box popped up with an option to pause my account - which I decided to do instead of cancelling. It’s a smart move and this the clarity of the pop up explanations that accompany each choice I make regarding my subscription is clear and easy to understand. Just wanted to give you, the Zoom team this positive feedback because the ease of use without hidden trickery shows a respectful approach towards your customers. I’m very appreciative. Many thanks indeed.

Zoom app. This app is a great way to get your family and friends together in the one place and have video chats altogether allowing you to see what exactly is being expressed and presented to one another in the same place of contact it’s amazing this app it has keeps me connected to my loved ones during the pandemic period which was very hard to deal with being in isolation for long.....

New Way Forward. Zoom has helped me survive 8 weeks of Covid-19 as a 74 year old susceptible person who lives alone I have been able see my daughter every day also my sister in New Zealand and friend in Tasmania I have been playing Drag Bingo twice a week and doing Meditation with my local friends also a medium I subscribe too my sister has been teaching for her university with Zoom, thank you so much

Great app to stay connected. This is a great app to stay connected and attend meetings and generally works alright. Issue: the ‘meet & attend’ used to appear but that is no longer happening and stays as connected. Which means there are meetings I cannot connect to it is asking for authentic sign in. I go to sign out and says there are connection issues. I’ve reset my phone but that made no difference still having same issue.

The Benefit of Zoom to me.. I am an older person and because of Covid 19 restricted time home a bit unable to do all the things I usually do. I am use to attending Bible meetings at a Kingdom Hall if Jehovah’s Witnesses . As we are unable to do that at present .I can zoom in twice a week for the same meetings. See all my friends and have a chat. Also my family and friends zoom in with me for morning or afternoon tea and a lot of chatter occurs and I love it. This all helps me not to be lonely and I look forward to Zoom every week. Thankyou

Keeping connected. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and I use zoom to allow me to be interactive at our twice weekly meetings. Also, due to the social distancing requirements we are not going door to door. Instead we contact our neighbours by telephone and by letters. To help us do this me meet in the morning over zoom. So zoom has helped us to still continue with our ministry and receive encouragement from our spiritual brothers and sisters. As a result I have only felt the pain of being isolated to a small degree - it will be nice though when we eventually meet up with our spiritual family in person. Thanks for this avenue allowing for us to communicate directly during this crisis. Warm regards Patricia.

Excellent, good quality app. Easy to use app, with the ability to disable the camera and quickly mute, and also use a chat box instead, as well as the ability to change your name for practical reasons, or even impractical reasons such as having fun. Also it allows for screen sharing which helps immensely with teaching and other activities with others members, and it also allows you to scroll through the different members in the call to help identify who is present. Moreover, it has good cross-compatibility between the app and computer use which makes things a lot easier for each user to access the information necessary. Plus the ability to click a link and head straight to a call makes things much easier to organise. My only problem that I can see would be with lag for individual users, which is not necessarily a problem with the app.

Help me stay connected the last 2 years. I live in a small country town and do Pilates with more senior women than myself, who have the odd health issues . Lucky for us our wonderful Pilates Instructor , came up with the idea to run Zoom classes twice a week . It's kept us physically & mentally healthy and connected , we've been able to go back to the hall a few times but by doing, Zoom classes, you can even do when your away , which I have . I have also done Zoom with our daughter in Melbourne when we could not see one another and a dear friend and her daily in The UK .I actually have a very old iPad , I'm so grateful I can get the app :)

A budget for buying votes or backing workers.. Thank you Ebony. An excellent Zoom link-up, with two very clear and comprehensive speakers today. Usually, a topic like this, can lose you, with stats, however, both Michele and Greg spoke on their topics with great knowledge, background experience coming through, and with great clarity. Thanks to them both. The Scandinavian model would be a great subject one day to have and the return to impoverishment when the Job Seeker payments returned to ‘the disposable’ mentality and homelessness sky rocketed would also. As the speakers eluded to, “…if the funding could be found for pandemic assistance, why cannot the funding be found to give people seeking a job, an equitable opportunity? Distribute the funding that goes to ‘pork barrelling’ to more just causes, to avoid predictable, unsavoury consequences.

Auzzies Luv Zoom. Excellent medium and is full of features. I think many companies are realising they have been wasting money sending staff interstate for one meeting costing hundreds of dollars. They are better spending money on setting up their staff/teams via zoom where all calls can be face to face. Makes sense. Telstra in Australia stopped their staff and executives travelling interstate for meetings some 15 years ago and encouraged face to face virtual meetings through their own video conferencing, saving hundreds of thousands (travel and accomodation costs). I am sure other companies have seen the advantages in video conferencing some years ago as well.

Awesome but.... Hi I have a complaint When I am doing Spanish class and the teacher starts sharing the screen very one starts drawing on the screen! And I am just suggesting (you don’t have to do this) but I think when someone starts drawing on the screen it should say someone started drawing on the screen that way we know who is being naughty and we can punish him or her. Well that’s all from me please send a developer response or think about making these changes!

I love zoom it helps me stay connected with my friends. Today I call my friends on Zoom was amazing for me help me with everything and I rate it five stars because I think it’s still help you stay connected with anybody you like and if it was it for online learning or anything else in my opinion I think that most people should have seen and you can go in meetings it’s even for free and I think you should get it today while you still got a chance to

Overwhelming gratitude. My prayer partner and I have been using Zoom every two weeks for a couple of years to catch up with our lives and prayer for those things on our hearts. We have appreciated Zoom. But now with Co-Vid19, our gratitude overflows. The uses of Zoom are endless. We took part in church services (yes, multiple) on Sunday through Zoom, held our weekly Bible Study Group last night and tomorrow my husband is participating in his weekly men’s coffee meeting by Zoom. A million thanks ❤️❤️❤️

Funny school lessons. The fact that we have to show up to class is annoying, but the teachers have found ways to make it fun when it doesn’t come to something like English, we’re we only have an hour lecture on why we don’t put the work in that they assign to us the previous one hour lecture. It’s a school thing, and an English problem.

Really?. Hi, have been trying to download Zoom app (for iPad) continually I can see the little blue square, but not the circle (after I’ve pressed on ‘get’) but it won’t do anything else. I have tried - really I have tried (and I’ve used computers virtually since they started - not a geek, but not stupid either... I have spent hours online with your website trying to find answers - no luck there. So, not impressed - if it’s not working and it will only do this via my App Store continually - what a waste of my very valuable time. And I needed to access a really important online webinar today - and thought I’d finally cracked it. Really bad news!

zoom is so amazing. I love zoom and it is so easy to use and everything. I do have a couple ideas that could be added but idk. So my 1st idea is that for gc we can create a gc picture. My 2nd one is kinda long. So basically what I was thinking was like how on iMessages we can pick peoples profile pics and names. I was thinking we could do that for zoom but you ask the person u r doing it to so it goes to them as a kinda notification and they can approve/disapprove.

Zero stars - Adding contacts is painful - Lack of security and woeful audio quality. Why is there a 2step process to connect with friends in Zoom? Step 1 Invite them to setup an account in Zoom Step 2 Invite them to connect in Zoom This is a counterintuitive and painful process. I much prefer FaceTime. The only reason I am using this Zoom app is to play along with other family members already using it. When we eventually did connect (well, apart from those who couldn’t get through and gave up in frustration), the sound quality was just terrible. Add to that the inadequate security and the fact that you’re selling our data to Facebook, I honestly don’t know why anyone is using Zoom. I don’t trust it. (My employer won’t allow us to use Zoom for business for these reasons) I hate this app. If there was a zero star rating that’s what I would give it. I have asked my family to move to FaceTime so that we don’t have to ever use Zoom again. PS/ I have now deleted my Zoom account and uninstalled the app. Never again.

Just like a classroom, but please look into your cancellation policy. I use Zoom to teach large classes up to 80 participants and individual lessons. Zoom lessons are interactive because I can share my slides and videos. However their cancellation policy is much left to be desired. I tried to use the chat to initiate a cancellation but it was ignored. Finally I got on my laptop after they had taken off $230 AUD from my account, to cancel. I got an immediate automated response offering a discount for future use and cancellation in 2025! Correspondence to Zoom has been ignored. It’s sad as I have held Zoom in high regards and used it all these years up now, where the paid version is no longer needed.

Zoom is hardly accessible for VoiceOver users. i'm Tiffy I'm totally blind and hearing-impaired and zoom is hardly accessible for VoiceOver users for those who are totally blind and hearing-impaired like myself! If you want to purchase a subscription so that zoom doesn't cut out every 43 minutes it makes it so confusing plus it's not even accessible even if you want to and you can't even do it via the app you've got to go to the website which is hardly accessible anyway! The other thing that needs to happen is we should be allowed to use zoom on mobile 4G or 5G even with the video setting because some of us now are having owners corporation meetings and when I was trying it last year as it was my first time I missed so much of the meeting as it kept cutting out and they wouldn't repeat what was going on even though it wasn't my fault! We also need a Feedback section so we can send issues to the developer because all we've got is report a problem but it only wants you to report what happened that day you can't report what is going on with the app in general and you can't ask them to fix it they only let you report what has happened on that day and what time but that's not going to help with general feedback is it scum

Zoom isn’t really great with iPads. While the basic Zoom subscription DOES work on an iPad, it obviously wasn’t designed for them, and is clunky and awkward to use whilst online and on camera. The interactive meeting settings such as the Chat box are situated at the top of the iPad screen, whereas they are at the bottom of PC screens. Most iPads do not have the capacity to operate with a mouse. That means that a user has to reach up across the screen to click on setting options mid-meeting. Others in the meeting see this huge hand reaching for them. 3D is great in a cinema, not so in a business meeting. If you only have the basic subscription, you can’t contact the Zoom tech team for assistance, and have to rely on their online help topics, which are pretty unhelpful for iPad users. I haven bothered looking into whether a iPhone is any better, because quite frankly, who wants to have a zoom meeting on a tiny screen. Zoom has been fantastic during the COVID-19 lockdowns, but I whish they would hurry up and make it a better experience for Apple users.

Works as intended, but can’t turn down volume. Zoom on the iPad is great, more portable than a laptop. But there isn’t any way to turn down the volume. The default volume feels like full blast. Neither using control centre or the volume down button works to turn down the volume. And I am unaware of any in-app volume control, especially while in a meeting. I have seen other people with this problem but found no solution so far, not sure if this happens for everyone however. App works great outside of that though.

Multitasking is sorely lacking. Please make it possible for zoom to work properly with multitasking. Whilst it does continue to operate in the background, the moment you swap to another app, your video and audio cuts out and stops being sent to others (far end audio also cuts out until you swap back to zoom). With ipad pro and larger screens, we need to be able to participate fully in a zoom meeting, whilst also working collaboratively on other documents and apps. This is the one feature that would allow me to use zoom more effectively every day.

Albert inseins big pp. I saw a big po

DONT DOWNLOAD. This app will steal all of your personal data

Force to quit after 40 minutes?. Free users plz don’t use this app.

Vraiment une super application. Je viens tout juste de participer à un webinaire avec Zoom et c'est super convivial et ça fonctionne super bien! Je le recommande!!

Customer Support Needs Improvement: Zoe Bot written by 5-yr-old. Since Pro members don’t receive live support, the Zoom’s Zoe bot is the sole option for support from Zoom. When asked “Access bill” the bot said I’d have to rephrase my question. Similar reply for “Bill”. Suggested solutions were “access recordings”, “access users”, “access call logs”, but no appropriate reply to the question “Access bill”, or “Bill”. There was no live chat option available. Terrible support.

Zoom is stealing your information!. The app contains pleanty articles stating that the online application that thousand of students around the world are using for classes ever scince the quarantine created due to the corona virus ( covid19 ), Zoom, thinks that it has the right to obtain ALL of the user’s information and share it with Facebook and other companies, it steals it’s location info, the information on the user’s gmail and others! At all costs, give a low rating on the application to have our information safely stored to us and only us

Great app. Great app easy and professionnal! 5 stars of course

Annoying af. The free version is very annoying Can't do meetings longer than 40 minutes with 10 minutes in between Very hard to do my lessons like this

Zoom is spying. This sucks

Useless on iPad. I have multiple Zoom accounts, and none of them opens/logs in when prompted. I know on desktop that I don’t have to log-in to access a zoom link, but even with that it just keeps on loading until time out. Nothing works. I tried turning off VPN; it’s the same problem.

Theft. They want Perpetual usage of your content for whatever use they deem fit including sale to third parties without requiring your consent.

Sucks. I physically can’t turn on my microphone you app sucks

Bruuuuuuhhhhh. Why do you steal poor people data 🥺🥺🥺

Zoom review. The meeting itself went smoothly, but then i read the horrendous privacy policy. Zoom feels that it has the right to collect users names, physical addresses, ip & Mac addresses, fb profiles.... whether the users have an account or not. Seriously!!! Tell me, why is that necessary to meet online using this app??? All and any gains from this app are utterly undermined by this policy. UNINSTALL!

No online school. Come on boys get this below 1 star so we don’t have to do it

PRIVACY. They take our private information and send it to Facebook this can’t be right read the policy

Horrible. It should be banned please.

Terrible app. This app is so hard to navigate for no reason at all and it takes your data without declaring it in the privacy policy!! Take this app off the app store.

MOUCHARD.

Bad. The app is so bad I would rather be homeless

Stealing private information. This app allows the admins and the moderating team of Zoom to steal your private information such as your passwords and emails, and selling them into another browser, FaceBook. This is horrifying, and this shouldn’t be on the app store. During the global pandemic, millions of people are using Zoom. Yet, to find out they’re doing this. Use Google Meets instead, they’re trusted and secured.

Characterized as Malware by security engineers worldwide. There are too many issues with zoom to recommend it. They’ve shown a complete lack of understanding and lie to users by selling end to end encryption as if they’re competent enough to deploy it let alone understand what the hell that means.

this is a waste of time. there making me do school :’( i ion want to

External camera support missing. Everything is great except there is still no external camera support even under iPadOS 17…

Creepy. That was creepy, I signed up and it took a photo off of facebook for my profile picture….

it’s a scam. It is a scam. When you try to log in to your account it says “sorry this is not your account”. It’s a HUGE scam

School = Bad. if we gove enough bad ratings we can take it down from appstore

Uncontrollable volume. This app is uncontrollable for the volume. The lowest volume is still too loud when we want to be private. The volume varies uncontrollably from low to medium. I want a stable volume. And lower than what it is set.

stupid stupid app. i dont even want to give a star it doesnt deserve one some stupid screen share is so laggy dont recommend using it download classin instead its better sure zoom is good on pc but not so much on iphone or ipad removed a lotta stuff on iphone and ipad i dont feel like im using the same app bad app

concerns❤️. who asked 🧚‍♂️✨

Selling data not cool. Selling personal data to Facebook and installing spyware that can access camera and microphone not cool! Thank you Apple for patching this virusware!

Horrible at fortnite. Dog water zero pr zero earnings literally free boxed like a fish dollar tree headset

bruh. this app steals your data without declaring it in the privacy policy. please schools, find a better option

This is crap. When ever I join a meeting it does nothing just use Skype FaceTime google hangouts those are all way better

I don’t want online classes. I don’t like online classes

Super facile a utiliser. Jaime beaucoup Zoom, que j’utilise tres régulièrement.

Traumatizing.. If I could, I would give it a 0 star review. You’d think that before you join a meeting it would give a preview of how you look and whether or not your camera and microphone are on right? NO. I just joined a meeting after getting out of the shower and almost flashed my class because I didn’t know my camera was on before joining. Thanks. It’s been 4 days into the new year and my year is already ruined.

Takes private information. When I created a account it went fine but when I read the private policy I was horrified. Zoom thinks they have the right to take your passwords and emails then send them to Facebook. These poor teachers barely know what their doing. Their giving their whole accounts to this horrible and cruel app. Don’t use this, trust me for the sake of your private information. I had to give this app a 1 star because that is the lowest I can give them but I think they deserve more of a -1000 star rate. Make sure to give this thing a one star so we can shut it down. If you have this app, it delete it at once.DON’T USE THIS.

Good app but it steals your info. Its a pretty good app to use for school and with friends, but it steals your information whether or not you have an account. Check other reviews for more info.

Doesn’t work????. Awful app and lags way to much sorry 😐

Student. This is app is mentally confusing, and it shouldn’t be on the App Store.

They tried.. Any app that sells my information without at least letting me know sounds like it should be illegal 🤔 #ZoomGate2021

Holy terms of service. The new terms of service allow zoom to access your device, not just zoom and manipulate what it retrieves.

Trash. No❤️

Excellent and user friendly.. Simple and intuitive.

good but i can’t....... some people can change their backgrounds but it doesn’t let me on an ipad it should all be the same thing on all devices

Zoom support has not been helpful.. Mic will not work in Zoom any more. It works in all other apps. Zoom support has not been helpful. So I’m not happy with Zoom. Should have given just a 1 star rating.

steals data. can view and sell your private data to facebook and other servers. (AND DOES- LOOK IT UP). can take any information from any open tabs while you’re using it. I don’t feel safe.

A disaster. I had to use this app for a job interview last week, and it did not work well. I had set everything up in advance, practicing with my iPad, my MacBook and my iPhone, just to be safe. The 20 minute call was supposed to be at 1:10, so I pressed the connect button at 1:09 and got a screen that said “launching”. Three minutes later it still said launching “. So I disconnected and tried again - and get “launching”. Now I’m five minutes late for the 20 minute interview. So I switch to my iPhone which makes the connection instantly, but I only see video for the first few seconds of the call, and the audio is only at the minimum level with no option to make it louder. The black screen kept switching back and forth to one with a green icon of a telephone, still with very minimal sound. So I spent the last 12 minutes of what was supposed to be a 20 minute interview across the country with no video and the need to keep repeating questions back to the search committee because I couldn’t hear them. I may not have gotten this job anyway, but using the Zoom app certainly eliminated any possibility of me being considered for the job.

Sound quality. Every time the host needs to play a video, the guests can never hear it. I’ve tested the theory with several different zoom hosts as well as myself because I didn’t just want to complain and be wrong! Also it can’t handle a certain level of volume with microphones. My uncle is a pastor and when he sings or anyone sings for that matter, gospel music with the choir, he blocks out the sound of the music and the singing. Once we get to a certain level of volume. The same goes for when he’s preaching and it’s not always when he gets loud. Also, we thought it was us having a bad system in the church because the mics were kind of old. So we gathered money and bought new mics. Hooked them up and still had the same problem. I use my zoom at home while I’m recording my music and guess what I don’t sing that loud nor does the music I produce play that loud and zoom still blocks out the music as well as the vocals. So you guys REALLY need to fix that problem or people are going to start going back to WhatsApp!

Great way to stay connected.. Zoom is so easy, even my 80+ year old relatives can use it with very little to no setup support. I have been using it for school since July, and have loved how it transformed my classroom experience. I have instant access to recorded lectures and super team project success. Thank you Zoom, and thank you for taking our safety and security so seriously. I have access to password protection for my meetings, and can opt out of sharing information in the account settings. I love how Zoom transparently responded to the security concerns recently. I can appreciate that the security settings were always available to me from the first use, but I had the option to keep them off and make my first several Zoom meetings easy and not advanced for me and my participants. Look forward to Zooming some music with friends with and without iPhones.

I loved it before… Not Now. In the beginning, there was peace… lol. Now I’m pulling out my hair trying to communicate with my customers. Just today someone called to discuss their invoice and make payment and they couldn’t hear me. Which made me have to call from my personal cell line. I had another customer become frustrated. The phone calls aren’t clear and I’m not sure what to do. I love the fact that I can text from my computer and through the app. Although for two days I couldn’t text customers back at all. I wish there was a easy way to save notes also… that way if I have someone helping me… they’ll already have the proper responses to certain questions and can send the information via text. It worked perfectly in the beginning… now I’m not so sure. Why the 4 stars? Well…it’s priced well and let’s face it… I loved it when I first started using it.

I had never heard of Zoom before the COVID-19 pandemic.. I had never heard of Zoom before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now I have used it to meet together with family and friends and still remain safe and help keep them safe. I love being able to travel virtually to places I never would have been able to do in reality because of my circumstances and situations in life. I love the fact that I can learn new things from a distance and yet can still interact if I want — . unlike with TV, books, pictures, letters or cards. While it isn’t quite the same as connecting in person —it sure does come in as a close 2nd under the present circumstances. — In some situations it can and has worked very well — (maybe even better at times) to be able to converse with and see ones, in real time on this virtual meeting place called Zoom❣️

Garbage.. This is so bad. The user interface is terrible and everything is dumbed down for babies. It is stupid that everyone has to use this for work and school. Oh, and when it says hd video, they mean if you and everyone you know has the best possible internet, otherwise it is garbage video quality. Hey developers, I know you don’t care about your users and only about the money you’re making, so you won’t read this, but would you mind just getting rid of zoom completely so that no one has to suffer through this crap anymore. Seriously, if you are a boss or teacher or want to make a video at all, just use something better than this flaming pile of goat vomit. And don’t even get me started on the pc app. It has even worse performance than the mobile app, and I have a top notch pc. The pc app is completely broken and every week or so it just snaps and I can’t do anything with it. Oh, and to Eric Yuan, the CEO of zoom, screw you, you made 18 billion dollars off of a garbage crappy horrible insurmountably bad video call train wreck.

Meeting on zoom with unwelcome strangers. I just had a meeting on zoom with a group of close friends. This was a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. These meetings help keep us sober. I started the meeting sitting by my 4 year old daughter. Unwelcome guests started entering the meeting and yelling prolific things at me and all of my friends while I was right by my daughter. The leader of the group tried to mute everyone but strangers kept joining and screaming foul things in the background. They started making porn references, screaming and cussing and insulting all of us. We had no choice but to end the meeting quickly because we couldn’t stop the unwelcome guests from entering. These meetings are our refuge and our hope to bring the message to the newcomer and help those who suffer with addiction. If there is a way to make sure this doesn’t happen again in the future that would be great to hear about. This is a first and I just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone/any children in the future. If you have any advice I would be happy to hear it. Thank you and take care.

Brings us together. I give this app a five star rating because with the coronavirus going on I think that it’s really helped me in my class get together and know each other more and I just think of anyone else who uses this app bring everyone together and it will just make everyone just feel like there are always together on this very good zoom call. I also think that it is a very good app because I seen multiple people using it at this time divorces seen celebrities use this app and I just think that that you’re there will just make everyone want to get it because celebrities are using it I just think that it’s a really good app and I think they also brings us together even more than talking to each other in person. I highly recommend this app and don’t be afraid to download it. #FantasticApp

Zoom isn’t perfect. BUT I like it a lot.. I may be expecting too much from a free app. We have a Zoom Happy Hour every Friday - and have done so since we locked down. Most of us are amateur musicians. My problem is that even plugged (via our level 6 Ethernet) into our gigabyte FIOS or XFinity connections it is still impossible to sync up enough to actual sing (or play) together - even at 15 frames per second. OTOH, ZOOM is essentially very good software which works on all the devices we hook it up on - so I can leave my MacBook, reconnect with my iPhone (or my older daughter’s Samsung) while my wife and our younger daughter are on their Dells and it doesn’t hang up or anything. Our younger (disabled) daughter uses it daily to connect to her support group for various activities without problems. Zoom is a firm five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Helpful. Hello. I think Zoom is very very useful, just to video chat with friends or learning at home. Job interviews really just about anything. I have to use Zoom for school when I go virtual. I use it to talk to friends also. Now you might be thinking why don’t we just ft (FaceTime) there is no reason but we just like to use Zoom. But here is a tip, if you don’t have Zoom it may not let you in the Zoom you need on. I needed to get on one for school but I didn’t have Zoom so it would not let me in until I downloaded it but other then that Zoom is very helpful and fun. With that being said you should get this app and video chat for anything. You can just get in to talk to friends family members job interviews learning at home and all kinds of other things. I really enjoy Zoom and I think you will to. I give this app a 5!

Good but could be better. I have been using zoom with many people who are older and have been very pleased with the way it handles multiple conversations. The user interface is pretty easy for non-technical people. Certainly has been a tremendous boon during this pandemic. One of the problems I have with it is that the user interface is different depending on what platform you have. For example, the icon for speaker view is in very different locations depending on whether you’re on an iPad, and iPhone, Mac, or a PC. When you have relatively non-technical people on all these different platforms trying to explain to each other how to activate speaker view or share screen, it’s very difficult because the location for what you want is so different from device to device. On the whole, though, you get a lot of capability for a reasonable price.

Wow!. Ok so I heard of this app right when quarintine started, and I really enjoy it! There’s so many features and great for online learning! The reason people say it’s glitchy is because certain places in a house have a worse connection then others, but lucky for me the strongest WiFi spot in my house is my bed 😏. It’s great for book clubs, dance meetings, choir, or just chilling with friends, which those are all the things I do.. I LIKE THE VEIW 😎. Excuse my memey soul, but there is 1 issue with this app, the screen share. It is always VERY glitch and when I tried to watch “Frozen II” with my bffs, nobody could see and sometimes hear because of how glitch it was! If you would fix that feature it would be fabulous and I believe you will probably get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from everyone! Fix the glitches, and you got the best video chatting app!

Easy and Productive Tool. It’s so easy to log on and the monthly fees are reasonable. I have learned to use the screen sharing tools by watching you tube videos. In the current climate it is one of the best ways to keep in touch, hold business meetings, court hearings, social gatherings, etc. Nothing beats actual human contact but during a pandemic this is a great alternative. Cons: a bit exhausting to use ANY video platform—you lose a lot having virtual conversations such as “micro-expressions” and subtle visual clues. Also some of your colleagues may be technologically challenged and any video platform has a learning curve. Make sure to log on in advance of any meeting and test your microphone and webcam. Don’t blame Zoom if you can’t get it together! And don’t host a meeting until you know what you’re doing! Friendly advice. Good luck.

Great App! One Suggestion Though.... My family and I have used this app for several months and it has covered most of our needs. It is great to be able to see and share with our extended family and friends during these times where physical contact may be limited. For that alone, it’s worth rating this app 5 stars. Still, there is one definite improvement that I think should be made. Please implement arrows or scrolling buttons in the Gallery View of Zoom video conferences. As an iPad Pro user, I am unable to “scroll” through the Gallery View using my Bluetooth keyboard and Mouse setup without having to manually touch and swipe the screen directly. Adding a arrow or other type of button would allow for easy viewing or scrolling of members of the video conference without disrupting the convenience of using the iOS trackpad/mouse support. Thank you.

Mobile version too many steps to get in meetings. I really enjoy using zoom for meetings, especially on the go. I attend a group every weekday morning with the same meeting number and password every day. I do find it quite tedious the number of steps and clicks I must complete each morning to join the group. There should be a better way to save a favorite and remove duplicitous steps. For example, once I open the app I have to click join meeting then click the drop-down to select the meeting then join then join again then audio and video connect preferences (which should not be asked every time after choosing preferences). Can you please review this process and make it simpler? Preferably open the app click join and select the meeting to join. No need to click join multiple times.

Helpful but Laggy. Zoom is a great app. It helps connect people that cannot connect otherwise. However, when there is enough people, it starts to become very laggy. Audio and Visual should be synced but that isn’t assured when there is 15+ people. Also, when you are on different devices, the preferences and toggles are in different spots, making it confusing for people who may not understand how to control the entire app. Everything should be in the same spot, no matter what kind of device you have. I’m glad Zoom works in most places as well, but it doesn’t already work everywhere, which also makes it lag, a lot. I do not recommend using it for huge meetings of 20+ people or else it may not work. But it is the optimum choice if you need it for holding classroom meetings because the teacher can be what is called the host, and students have some freedom with fun things, but not enough to disrupt the conversation.

Works well. I have been using it for a few years and it has always worked well. screen sharing, drawing on shared screen, audio only vs audio and video, etc all work well. The only thing I wish it does better is power consumption of Bluetooth earpieces like AirPods. Usually I can go for 4-5 hours on my AirPods when listening but if I am on zoom (or google hangout) even if I am on mute the whole time I drain the battery after about and a half. You would think the app can be a bit smarter about being on mute and switch to the listening-only mode and turnoff microphone. I understand the microphone can be draining the battery and it may cause temporary interruption or delay when switching mode but I think if you make it an option for the user then many of them such as myself would gladly accept this trade off for not having to replace our Bluetooth earpiece 1.5 hours into our conference call.

Okay, but not as good for iPad.. This video meeting app works well enough. The virtual backgrounds are nice, and the microphones and videos usually work the way they’re supposed to. On an iPad, though, you have fewer options then on a computer. The main accessories that Zoom does not allow on an iPad are remote control, (you can move the mouse that appears on-screen, but you can’t do anything else, not click, not select, nothing), whiteboard, (it shows up and you get colors, but not nearly as many as you get on a computer. I would love it if you added a color wheel), and breakout rooms (You can go into them but they don’t show up in the menu). I always use my iPad for Zoom meetings, but I feel I am not getting the full expirence. Also, when you do Zoom online, you can have moving virtual backgrounds, but those don’t exist on the app. If you could change all this, this rating would go up to five stars faster then you can say “Zoom”. But for now, you get two.

Business Zooming. Without a doubt over the past 6 months ZOOM has enhanced my ability to make money & reach more people than I could in a year! It has also taught my many business partners to utilize the ZOOM video & calls to duplicate our production, profitability, & most of all delivered our company message regarding our products with a genuine & sincere care element by being able to see our enthusiasm by emphasizing our overall company objectives & goals by the process of looking into our eyes & faces to show our personalization about how much we care about their success as well! My company will ALWAYS use ZOOM every opportunity we are presented to pull our people, products, & passion together in the drive to everyone’s success!! I have learned during this COVID pandemic, that we do not have to settle for less productive, but rather increase our company’s objectives & be more proficient in doing so b/c of ZOOM!!

Best app I’ve ever used!! PLEASE READ!!!. We had to start using zoom for school and I know that a lot of kids have given bad reviews because they hate school but that has nothing to do with the platform itself! It is absolutely flawless and super easy to use UNLIKE MICROSOFT TEAMS. They are always one step behind zoom in their innovations and new features. You can’t have as many people on a call as zoom. I know that people were concerned about security for a while but LET ME ASSURE YOU! Zoom went from several thousands of users to millions and millions of users over the course a few short days! Zoom was originally meant for business situations and then it went to party’s and play dates over zoom. I mean Microsoft has patch up Tuesday’s for crying out loud! They have fixed everything and I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET GOING WITH ZOOM!!!!!!!

Needs BUG fixes. I’ve been using Zoom almost daily since March of last year. It was working fabulous until recently. I use it on my iPad including my upgraded iPad. My mother in-law in our home uses hers at the same time in a different room and she too is experiencing similar issues: (1) my photo background dropped reflecting my true background; on MY iPad it shows it’s up....but to others it reflects my actual background! NOT GOOD. (2) When I’m called upon to speak...sometimes others can hear, or it comes out garbled, or they cannot hear me at all (3) sometimes while on gallery, it first appears and can see and hear everyone then the entire gallery blacks out as if they are all off video yet can still hear them talk, left with only my video. Then this past weekend, had everybody’s gallery without sound. We’ve been using this wonderful app all year and all these problems began happening within the last week or two. Now using zoom phone lines to call in.

It works I guess. There’s nothing really that bad about the app, but as a whole it’s not a great experience either. It takes too many clicks to get to the chat, and half the time once I’m there I’m replying to just one person instead of the group for some reason. Also, the disappearing buttons that slide off screen after a couple seconds give me so much anxiety… I’m typically listening intently to the meeting waiting to unmute to say something and do not want to have to fumble for the unmute button, I’d rather it just be there. Jitsi is much better for this and the first time I used it over zoom I realized what a relief it was to simply have the unmute button not sliding off screen every chance it got. And don’t even get me started on the desktop app. It’s a kludgy disaster that’s barely usable from a ux perspective. I’m often appalled at how poor the desktop app experience still is even after all these years. I like that Zoom is encrypted but beyond that there’s much room for improvement.

Not impressed. It seems like it’s one thing after another with this program. If I could give I zero stars I would. I gave it a shot because a lot of people were recommending Zoom for video conferencing over similar alternative video messaging apps. The sound quality, video quality and overall connection is poor, has a longer lag time than other apps and there’s all sorts of confusion on how to join a meeting. Seems like it should be straight forward but it’s not. Also, when sending a meeting invite to someone, it sends an email from my personal device email address rather than the work email address which I registered with the app. How does that make sense? When I downloaded the app to my phone as a back up, nothing would sync across my devices or accounts so I would have to send new invites to the same people for the same meeting, therefore causing MORE confusion. I am going to encourage the people I'm meeting with to use a different service, and can’t wait to go back to in-person meetings so that I can be rid of this frustrating app.

Love this app!. Zoom is the perfect way to communicate with friends and family. They have a chat feature so you can talk to your family. You can also video call them and see how they are doing. If you don’t feel like getting on video, you can call them using Zoom Phone or turn off the video option on a video call! With the cool features of virtual backgrounds, whiteboards, and more, Zoom has allowed my friends and family to meet up during quarantine while staying safe from a distance. It is also great for professional work environments. Zoom has allowed so many businesses over the past couple months to meet up with a non glitch platform to talk about their business issues. I would definitely recommend getting this app. It will change your life forever! If there was a ten star option, I would choose it. I don’t have a single complaint. Thank you Zoom!!!!

ZOOM: the best so far. I have just began using Zoom for cloud meetings. Compared to Skype, I find Zoom much more stable and of higher quality video presentation. Larger meetings must be organized in a better way as this is more a problem of group organization as opposed to the actual Zoom software. A bigger group must be organized in order to functionally use the zoom platform without problems. I really like the whiteboard and screen sharing aspect as it is simple, intuitive and easy to use especially with my iPad Pro Apple Pencil. There is always room for improvement, but as for now, Zoom is the best. With Skype, I have complaints of poor screen quality even with gigablast internet (300-1 gb/sec download speeds). I just wanted the truth to be presented about the online software. Zoom is presently the best and deserves more credit than a single star! It works well!

Not Bad but Could Be Way Better. I’ve been using Zoom for about two months now due to COVID-19. We haven’t had any Zoom “bombs” or major hiccups. But I do have a few things I would like to share that they could improve: 1. In the webinars add-on, it would be great if there was a way to generate the attendee report before the actual webinar. There’s info that’s collected during registration that is needed before the webinar so it’s a real hassle to go through each registrant one by one. 2. Also in the webinars add on, we should be able to edit the email templates. 3. Would love to use the virtual back drop but I don’t have a green screen. Who has a green screen?! Why create a feature for something most people don’t have. Like many people, I’m using my work computer for video conferences so some part of the feature should at least match with basic system requirements. Kind of annoying but I guess you get what you pay for 🤷🏾‍♀️

Great app - still the best videoconferencing app despite earlier security issues. I’ve used Zoom, Teams and Webex extensively since March 2020, and Zoom is by far the best videoconferencing app in my experience. While its 40-minute time limit for free accounts is a major disincentive to setting up meetings on Zoom without a paid subscription, it otherwise works great, with minimal video and audio lag. Video and audio quality and battery life are much better than on Webex, and all participants can be seen when you swipe in grid view. A 3-hour Webex meeting drains my iPad Pro 12.9 4th edition to around 40%, while I would still have around 60% battery life after a Zoom meeting of the same length. The Teams iPad app still has the pesky limitation of only seeing the videos of 3 other participants, along with yours. Teams, however, still offers unlimited meeting times for free accounts, while Webex has reduced free meetings to 50 minutes at a time. The only limitation I’ve experienced with the Zoom app is that a file shared through chat was not accessible through the iPad app when it could be accessed through the desktop app. I also wish that all of these videoconferencing apps would continue to transmit your video when you open other apps. This doesn’t happen when using the desktop versions.

Bad for our situation. Honestly, I’ve had to use Zoom during quarantine to do my virtual classes and Zoom has been glitching and at one point my 5th grade Science teacher had to change the Zoom ID because the students needed a password to enter the meeting. At one point there were certain students who couldn’t enter so now we have a new ID. It’s so annoying how we have to use Zoom because it is veryyyyyy slow to load and we have to wait almost 5 minutes of class to get students to join. So far my experience with ZOOM has NOT been the best. Honestly I thing many other apps could do better(google classroom and FaceTime, etc). This app is terrible. Rate 1 Star everyone!!! Don’t get this app.👎🏿bad app. I also receive emails and it is like it is stealing your own information. And terrriiblleeee audio 😾👿👺☠️💀🤬😡😠😤🤬🤬

No way for complete privacy!. Zoom has the option to be able to join a meeting with out having to give access to your camera on your IPhone, and supposedly w/o giving access to your microphone but what happens is that a message in a box will appear covering up your whole view of anyone speaking and will not allow you to access any features, incurring leaving the meeting, unless you give it access to your microphone! The message states: Unable to access microphone-Allow Zoom to access your microphone from device menu: “ Settings”- “ Privacy”- “Microphone”. OK So beware. For an app that wants us to stay connected and at least see faces and hear speakers but not want to be heard or seen for whatever reason that day, you will only be able to hear because of that annoying box. I refuse to give this app that much control of my phone. I will just call using a landline then until they get rid of this annoying message and violation of my privacy.

Love it, but I have a suggestion. Okay so zoom is amazing! Many have realized this once pandemic forced us into seclusion but it’s even more telling that so many of us even after still use this platform. So first thank you to the creators and everyone putting in the work. I use zoom to teach and give classes etc. My kids really like the new avatars and live emojis! I put a fun educational twist on these but it’ll be great to have more stickers (specifically larger stars) also more color options for these as well as like a bar where you can save notes or “stickers” etc that can we can refer back to and won’t be erased along with other things that was collaborated on screen. Hope this makes sense but I think it would be amazing! Thanks again!

If it would be possible not to give any stars, that would be my choice. your system blocked my MacBook Air laptop from using the Zoom Meetings client with a mysterious error 1132. All my attempts to get technical support were redirected to online resources that never mention such an error, your list of errors doesn’t even have this error on it. I think that your quick arrogance to ignore simple users in favor of large corporate clients is disturbing, utterly disrespectful and, frankly, simply unprofessional! Either error 1132 is a glitch that you refuse to fix - which is unhealthy practice for a tech company, or it is a hidden way to censor your audience- which is a gross shame! So, I avoid your service for any business or family affairs, I encourage my friends and professional network to avoid it as well and I am very disappointed in your desire to differentiate who is important and who “will somehow get over” your arrogant attitude. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. Although I am sure you never will.

Not happy. I was adapting during Quarantine which didn’t hit NW FL UNTIL N States came in spring. I’m in a CAT 5 Hurricane area, new tech everywhere, legal & insurance. Setting up new devices & it’s been a nightmare. I began with church & that was great. Life happened, I came back to it for court appearance for divorce and the updates made it impossible. NO customer support. It’s anxiety horrors. Now I see a fee option. Requested a business email address. Basically my account is lost. I can’t access previous on & can’t create new. Because of this and yes WIFI I was literally on the telephone while my attorney, ex to be, judge & his attorney(s) across the country. This is our lives thrown into Zoom. Not all are in school or business but it’s definitely slowing down my process to get there. I’ve wasted so much time and no help. No support. Sent email. NOT HAPPY- I wish we’d stuck with Skype. Again, also Cat 5 Hurricane and NW FL was NOT a Covid hot spot until very recently. Hope everyone enjoyed their beach vacations after zooming all winter. Now I’m stuck in the house because of it.

A whole new world. Pre-pandemic, when someone said the word zoom I never would have thought it meant a video platform, but here we are August 2020 and five months into the pandemic. I use zoom all week. I have meetings, my volunteer work is done virtually now and sometimes we have virtual parties on zoom. I do miss being with my friends and family, but I’m thankful we live in a time when even when we can’t be together, we’re together. The app does have some hiccups here and there, but it’s always up and running very quickly. I appreciate all the features; breakout rooms, chat, virtual backgrounds, raising the hand feature. Video off and mute with just a click. I know a lot of older ones who use this app and was able to get a hold of it rather quickly. Thank you for creating such an awesome app. Where we can stay connected.

Love it but update ruined it for me.. So I love this app it’s perfect for Covid-19 I even did school on it for at least 1 year and a month but for when I would go on seesaw to do something sometimes it would sign me out of zoom and I wouldn’t notice because I couldn’t see zoom. It started happening a lot after a while and it would happen 10 times a day and it would really annoy me please fix this I have one more thing to. The next this is really annoying for me and for my classmates/poeple who are on iPad like me. So it would let me share my screen for a long time and then on the update it wouldn’t let me share my screen so instead I had to share my photos and that was really Complicated an it was hard but please change this to were every Device can share a screen please change these things and I wolf give this a 5 out of 5 anyways great app!⚡️✨

Amazing. I personally love this app. I understand and have the occasional glitch but it’s better than any other platform my teachers tried using. I do have one complaint being that now whenever one person is in the waiting room it duplicates them and in order for them to come u need to let both in. It’s annoying and the person being duplicated can see the other one of themselves but the camera and mic is turned off. Overall I am happy with the app and just started experiencing issues. I guess that’s what updates are for. Everyone in the reviews talking badly about zoom doesn’t understand that they have millions of people using their platform as once. And sometimes ur or other ppls wifi is bad which causes a glitch. I really want to say thank you to zoom for making online learning easier than I thought it would be.

A Vital App, But Buggy on My iPad Air 2. I have been using Zoom since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to reach out to friends and family and to participate in meetings with as many as 100 other participants, and for the most part, it works remarkably well. And with the latest updates, the security measures like the waiting room and the lock functionalities are a practical tools for dealing with “Zoom Bombers”. I have rated it 3 stars, however, for the persistent bug that locks up the app when I co-host; within 10-15 minutes, my screen is stuck with the participants tab open, and I cannot switch views from active speak to gallery (and vice versa), I can’t scroll through scenes in gallery view, and lately, even the chat screen becomes inaccessible. This limits my moderator/cohosting abilities, as I can only admit people, boot them blindly (as I can’t see their screens), I can’t unmute myself, I can’t even leave the meeting without force-quitting, and as I said before, today I couldn’t even chat with other participants. This isn’t a settings issue, it’s the app as it runs on my iPad. The only fix is to force-quit and then log back in, which is disruptive and compromises the meetings security as I disappear for a few moments while unwelcome guests harass our bonafide participants. When I’m not cohosting, I don’t have ANY of these problems. To the developers: This is a wonderful product, but this bug is nuts.

Zoom is awesome but.... Well... I love this app but recently, I have encountered an issue. Well what happened is... My brother has been using zoom and then when he tried joining a meeting, it had said “waiting for the host to start this meeting” but on the school schedule, it clearly said that there should have been a meeting at that time. So yeah. That was the problem, but anyway I love this app cuz it has some awesome features: it can give backgrounds, it gives breakout rooms which super cool, and the fact that you have private chat with other participants is just so convenient cuz’ it helps a lot. And the last thing is, is that the teachers chooses if you can have the control the kicking, muting, and the videos of other participants. Awesome, love the app. Keep updating and making zoom better while ya can!

5 stars!. Zoom is a really helpful and useful app. I love how your able to have a virtual background if you want to. Yes I do know that we have FaceTime, google duo and house party but this app has more high quality and your able to see your friends/family/etc. and I know I already mentioned this but the virtual backgrounds are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Now just one small problem about the virtual backgrounds , why do we need a green screen or a certain type of device? Because one time on a zoom meeting I tried to use a virtual background BUT it covers half of my face and barely anyone was able to see me. Anyways I LOVE zoom🤩it’s a great app that I’ve been using since FEBRUARY and it comes even more useful during quarantine. Due to the corona pandemic we aren’t able to see loved ones in person so in conclusion this app is a must😍

Very good but would change some things. I think that this app is very helpful for while we’re in e learning. Our class uses it for check ins and stuff for e learning. And me and my mom use it to celebrate birthday parties for her friends. This is my first time using it, and I think that it is very good. I like how you can change your name and how you can make backgrounds. I also like how you can create your own background. But I don’t like how when someone is screen sharing, you can draw on their screen. One time my teacher was screen sharing to show us the assignment and one of our classmates was drawing on the screen and my teacher had to keep stopping to tell whoever’s doing it to stop. I also think that adding a password should be optional. I used to copy and paste the meeting ID but then there was a password and I can’t copy both. That makes me give it 4 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

iPad version is good but needs to remove overlays. We all know about Zoom meetings. The experience is generally good except for it lacks the ease of the WebEx “pass the ball” to control the presenter. (Probably patented.) Where Zoom falls down on iPad is how it requires many things to overlay the presentation screen. Q&A and chat have annoying bubbles pop up in upper right. In large presentations, that is an endless stream of bubbles covering up the presentation. Let us disable this. To actually read chat, you must bring up the overlay which covers up the presentation. We need to be able to read the chat and watch the presentation simultaneously. Give us the ability to move the chat to a pane on the right with the presentation moved left. In StageManager it would be nice to be able to move the separate frame as a window to size or place on another screen.

Not bad, needs improvement. Zoom overall is amazing. I love the virtual backgrounds, the fact you can share your screen, customize your camera, and even add contacts. There are a few problems although zoom is pretty great. iPad, when you leave the zoom window, it turns off your camera automatically. I find this very annoying because our teachers require our cameras to be on, and every time i have to explain to them why my camera goes off. Also, computer and laptops seem to have much faster updates than mobile. For example, the zoom filters came in much later than the laptop zoom filters. Also, mobile has no remote control. This is quite annoying since I do need remote controls during many meetings, yet I can’t use it because mobile is behind on updates. That’s all! Please fix these, thank you. -snow white

It’s ok. Now I would not say this is the best app in the world 🌎 but it is really useful specially for these Times like for the first time I could talk to my friend that’s in Dallas but there are some things I don’t really like about this app like every time I put on a background the background goes over me and you have to have an account to call someone or have a profile and to me it’s kind of frustrating but I do you like that you can share your content but I would also like it if they were games that you can play and there is also a limit which is also kind of frustrating you can only talk for 40 minutes if you want to talk for more you half to pay for which is really expensive and I’m pretty sure nobody wants to spend money on like that so those are some things that I would fix I hope someone responds but overall this is a really good app and it’s really useful

Saved my business…. Due to my being severely compromised during the pandemic, I had to go to a completely virtual status in my small business. I had always met with my students in person but that was no longer possible. Because Zoom was so easy to learn and their support team was so prompt, kind and efficient, I was able to lose far less business than I would have if Zoom hadn’t been available. My students love it and it has allowed me to continue to do work that is extremely important to me. There is just no way that things would have worked out half this well without Zoom. My only wish now is that all public schools would use Zoom to do virtual work with their students. It is so much more efficient and secure!!

I don’t know how i feel about the compatibility with iPad. Zoom is not as great on iPad as it should be, especially on iPad Pro. Honestly im kind of disappointed; the UI is just expanded from iPhone. You cannot view the gallery and you cannot use the app in slide over view with video on not good for devices using Apple Pencil. I don’t understand why that would not be possible but if the app is open in either way, then it should be able to have that capability especially on professional models. I really want Picture in Picture to be implemented for iPadOS as well like FaceTime and other apps that use the same developer kits. So many things are missing that keeps it from being as capable as it can be. I really hope changes regarding this are in the pipeline or i don’t think i will use this app on my iOS and iPadOS devices anymore. Please take this into consideration as this would be a much desired feature among my colleagues, coworkers and professors to increase the accessibility and push the limits of apple’s powerful devices.

Zoom phone service lacking. Zoom meeting may be the go to solution for group video meetings and phone conferences, but it’s zoom phone service barely supports the basics. It’s crippled in part by a lack of understanding of basic telephony concepts such as call waiting, within Zoom’s support staff. This lack of understanding is also evident in this version of the zoom app where basic phone features are not offered and where they ate, the implementation is haphazard. Many of the calling features they claim to offer aren’t complete or at parity with the offerings from companies with experience providing business phone services. It’s apparent that they’ve attempted to squeeze telephone service into their existing web meeting systems. Unfortunately it doesn’t work and only results in a confusing user interface. Perhaps Zoom phone would satisfy the needs of a simple residential or single line small business customer, but it’s not yet ready for a business needing support for more than a few lines.

A few problems.... My school uses zoom but there are some issues that need fixing first off why do peoples cameras turn black when on another app! It’s really annoying and it doesn’t do that on the PC version so why does it do it here? Secondly camera/audio problems. A lot of times everyone in the zoom’s camera goes to black and their audio freezes to the point where i have to leave the meeting/restart my iPad and its super annoying. Even when my internet is really good and it still does that! Third of all for some reason when we were in the breakout rooms the host gets kicked from the meeting, its really annoying and happens pretty often. And sometimes when that happens we go in and the host isn’t even in the meeting! Fourth of all sometimes my screen duplicates and makes my teacher worry a hacker has gotten into the meeting! Fix these bugs and i would give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Life saver. Zoom was relatively new when our organization began using it and it quickly became our saving grace. We are a pier based recovery group that depends upon its members experience, strength, and hope so that newer members can learn from the older members what it takes, or how they learned to use the program to get through the day to day process of being in our membership. This platform has helped us have face to face interaction whilst maintaining social distancing. Through your platform we have maintained an atmosphere of recovery and continue to help those struggling with changing patterns of their lives to a new way of thinking and change of that magnitude is all but impossible on our own. Your platform helped so that even those geographically isolated could find like minded people willing to help. Thank you can never adequately covey my gratitude 🙏 but thank you ‼️ Chuck H.

Basic. I really like Zoom, it’s a great way to meet with friends and family. Why I’m only giving this 3 star’s is because of basic vs pro with pro obviously you can use everything and basic your restricted. I get it’s a money maker but you could at least include the extras like changing your background when in a meeting I think that should be included with basic. Basic your limited to 40 mins if your meeting with more than one person right? So what’s the difference by adding the abilities to add a background to your video? Your still limited to 40 mins. So why not let us have some fun and let us use the background add featured ? You just might get people willing to go pro by giving a little. I’ll change my rating to 5 star’s if you guys give basic the background features, 😉 please?

Wish we had had Zoom 20 years ago.. I can only think of the added ease Zoom would have provided during grad school! Almost every feature on Zoom enhances possible learning. I’m finding the app difficult to thoroughly understand, but that is only because I was thrown into it by my employer without prior training. It was only after working with it that I found all the free training available through the Zoom website. Now, after having watched a couple of webinars, I am feeling much more comfortable with the navigation and the use possibilities that are available. For the developers and coders who work on the back end of this site, “Great job!! Zoom is so complex that it must have been a 24/7 struggle to get it to run without a glitch. Hats off ti all involved!” Thank you.

Very good. 😍👍We loved. Matthew 6: 6-10. 6 But when you pray, go into your private room and, after closing the door, pray to your Father, who is in secret. Then your Father, who watches in secret, will reward you. 7 When you pray, do not say the same things over and over, as the people of the nations do, for they imagine that they will be heard for using many words. 8 Don't be like them, because your Father knows what you need, even before you ask him. 9 “Therefore, pray as follows:“ ‘Our Father, who art in heaven (who is in heaven? - JEHOVAH), hallowed be your name (Make the Name of GOD who is JEHOVAH be known). 10 Your kingdom come (for a government I came). Your will be done (may this government be in accordance with the Laws of GOD), as in heaven, as well as on earth (the government of Heaven has been clean since 1914 and it is for the government of the earth to be equal). 11 Give us today our bread for this day;
