Wonderfully original!!. My kids watch this show and I watch it with them. It's great to see writers with enough creativity to make any new concept for a show these days that doesn't just involve abstract and confusing plots. The game was WAY more than I expected. I'm an old school gamer. Beat legend of Zelda at 3. Watched my dad play for hours. I played every RPG under the sun from Dragons Quest (Highly Recommended Since they ported to iOS) to modern MMORPGs. This game is so tightly made that I couldn't put it down till I beat it. There are a few useless skills toward the endgame but the options you do have far outweigh the bad. Almost 100% flawless. Highly recommended it to anyone who likes turn based RPG fighting style. Really great also for teaching my 4 year old how to get into RPG element games. He loves it and has greatly improved on his addition and subtraction skills. The game is innocent enough for even my 4 year old. No cursing and all the character have great attitudes. Amazed really that people still have creativity enough to make great games like this one without copying to much from games already out there. Kudos and can't wait for number 2.

(How to skip intro)I LOVE THIS I CAN GET ENOUGH. THIS GAME IS AMAZING! I HAVE PLAYED IT FOREVER! There’s just something about it that makes it SO fun. But I DO have 2 issues, neither of which matter THAT much, but still. 1. The fusion mechanic is cheap af. The ONE fusion is Alexandrite. That’s it. Wait wait wait, now I’m not saying that’s lame. It’s amazing! OMG ESPECIALLY THE FIRST TIME I USED IT! But it’s Only Alexandrite, and she’s reduced to nothing but a Super attack. 2.Garnet is TOO OP. Diamond Mode World 5 Gauntlet is the ONLY thing that can challenge my Garnet with an ATK of 39! U read correctly, THIRTY NINE! P.S. If you want to skip the intro, just double tap the home button(or do whatever u do to open the app selector screen to instantly go into apps still open)& then go back in, the game glitches for a second and the intro ends immediately(it works for me atleast, if it doesn’t work for u, or if ur on a computer....sorry)Combine this with a setting so your phone doesn’t power off when u leave it alone and u can play hours of Attack The Light without turning it off ONCE. P.P.S. If I had to ask for 1 thing, PLZ HAVE LOTS OF DIFFERENT BATTLE MUSIC, and Special music for the Gauntlets, the Secret levels, the bosses, and 1 special one ONLY for the FINAL BOSS! ADD THIS PLZ!

I need a sequel to this!. I am not the type of person to play games on my iPhone, but this won me over! Combat style is turn-based and increases in difficulty (though I wouldn't say this is a hard game, it does present a challenge or two.) The story is well done, and the characters stay true to the show. I would pay money for a sequel to this. (PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!)

Good game, but a few concerns.. The game overall is very outstanding and fun. However, this game needs an update that will add more characters and fix a few bugs that have occurred to me. The game sometimes just freezes at the ending of a battle and the characters just stay in place and running . Overall this game is good, but it could use an update that will give it some light!

Honestly.. SOLID game. For what it's worth, this delivers a dynamic, classic RPG, insanely fun, and addicting game. I've paid for games before and been sincerely disappointed. This is different. This one costs a little up front, but it's far more solid than any other game I've paid for. You'll WANT to play this. You like the show? You'll love the game. It's presented in a way that if you've never even seen the show, you could play along and have PLENTY of fun. Highly impressed. Only thing I want? MORE STEVEN UNIVERSE MERCH.

Pretty alright, new update has bugs.. Pretty good game, even with the black boarders before. But your new update seems to have the pause button on the corner of the screen for the iphone xr, which is a bit tricky to hit. Also, the background to the health on the top of the screen cuts off where it did before. Also, there’s an advertisement for your arcade whenever I quit a level or start the game. There’s also an advertisement that’s unskippable for a john cena movie that game out almost a month ago.

Good game, but great fanservice!. This is a classic rpg that is not very complex but offers a few hours of good fun with very little learning curve. The game can be challenging with diamond mode or if you aren't good at timing hits, but overall won't pose a challenge to most gamers. That said, this game is fantastic fanservice, any SU fan will love the experience! Only 4 stars because of the simplicity, lack of replay value, the 3 finger hand animation in some cutscenes (haha), but really because I have beaten the final boss 3 times now, last time taking 0 damage, and every time the cutscene finishes after beating the boss, the app crashes and I don't get the final prism color. I still get 100% completion on the world map but the red prism is missing and I can't finish stage 5-5

Is good. This game is great I love it because... if I'm honest I REALLY don't like RPG's. I don't like not being able to dodge the attack. Before this, the only RPG I liked was undertake because you actually PLAY the game. Not sit there and wait for the enemy to kill you! But then there's this... you can block attacks. Have a lot of options to attack with, and overall a great level up system and everything! I loved this game! P.S a tip for the final boss is (this may take a liiiiittle longer) but you can keep all the gems bubbled at all times and not have to worry! :P

Words can’t begin to comprehend what I feel. I find this game to be so much fun, when I was younger I used to play with my friends and “fuse” with each other, Then when I heard there was a GAME, my dreams came true, I just have one problem, this game lags for me, a lot. I don’t know if it is just me, but from all the reviews I have seen it doesn’t seem to be the case. So, maybe it’s my own device. I just want to clarify though that it wasn’t always laggy, at first the first few levels of the Indigo Zone was fine, it was fine until I ventured into the ancient Gem War Strawberry place. That’s when it really started, anyway. I want to be able to enjoy the game, but I really can’t with all the lag, it has even caused Pearl’s Spear Throw to just disappear mid-throw, it has also caused me to stop getting lucky attacks. I love this game so much, and I don’t want it to end because I have a problem with the lag. So yeah, other than that, the game’s story is amazing, I love the art style, and I hope this gets fixed. :)

Wonderful game full of heart and humor. Great game that beautifully channels the spirit of the show, including its heart and humor. Reminds me heavily of the Mario & Luigi series of RPGs on Nintendo's handheld systems, with clever and fun gameplay mechanics including the timing of attacks and the badges. This game was a refreshing surprise; I couldn't put it down. My only real complaint is that it was too short. It definitely left me wanting more. I'd also love to see appearances from other characters in future games, like Lion, Connie, Peridot, etc., as well as the ability to fuse any combination of two gems (i.e., Sugalite, Sardonyx, Opal, etc.) and not just Alexandrite. Overall, this game is well worth the money and is a real gem - pun intended!

Nice game, but one problem. I really like Steven Universe I’m like a Steven Universe geek! I love watching the show. So one day I was watching Steven Universe then I see a video with someone playing a game called Save The Light, I really liked it I searched it up heartbroken to see its to much money and sense I’m on my IPad I can’t play it but that’s when i found Attack the Light I immediately ran upstairs to my mom she said I could get it I got it and that’s my story although there’s a problem on the blue levels I think they rushed it I am disappointed.

Strange bugs. My game seems to be bugged. When I warp into a new place the second equipment slot becomes undone. Sometimes I can’t even reequip the item that was there. Also on the 4th world 4th level I picked up the key but it won’t trigger for the door when I press the lock. I have tried deleting the game and just trying to start over but I can’t seem to do that either. Please address this bug. I would like to finish the game but it’s all bugged out now and I can’t.

Great bit should have more stuff. I love this game! It’s amazing and cool but there should be more things added to it. First off, Steven should be able to fight to and not just be there saying good job in battle. Next try adding more characters like lapis,peridot, and Connie so it can be more awsome! Now I do like garnet, I mean who doesn’t 🤪 But maybe you can add something where she can unfuse into ruby and sapphire. Lastly...THE DIAMONDS!!! Please add the diamonds there the best. So if you can please add these thx!

LOVE THIS GAME! (4.9 stars out of 5). If I could I’d rate give a rating of 4.9. Not quite 5 stars only because of 2 reasons; #1, the cost ($3 is a little much for a mobile game even if it is something to do with a popular franchise such as SU) & #2; Every time I open the game, the rather long intro of the game starts playing without anyway to skip. Very annoying. Other than those 2 things; a very fun and challenging game to play (especially for Steven Universe fans)!

Love it! But one thing.... Hey I love this game, but I mainly came to write this because there is a glitch that I have found while I was playing this game. I was on the third warp world, the sandy one, and noticed that when I used pearl's light stab attack, it froze. This had never happened until I played the no items area of that world. I even restarted it twice, but whenever I used pearl on the ambush wave, it would freeze. Please look into this Cartoon Network!

Good,but it can be better. This game is fun but I only bought it because my mom loves Steven universe. I did not know it was this fun! Cartoon Network deserves a Guinness world record for this game. But, I have some problems. I think there should be a move for everyone that doesn’t cost much harmony where the gems can go to the back of their opponents team and beat them without them knowing and blocking the attacks. And I want a homeworld mode where you can play a gem mission. But it is a great game to play and it is fun!

Perfect balance in difficulty? On to Diamond Mode!. I cleared this game 100% in about 3-5 days, and I'm not sure how I personally feel about it. However, I think Attack the Light is simple enough so you don't get super frustrated at every unexpected thing, but challenging enough to feel like you've accomplished something great. I looked at a walkthrough only once, and I think that made the game much more fun for me. There were a couple of things that stumped me. Other than that, my only complaint would be how short the game was.

Steven Reviewverse. Overall, I didn’t have the console to play save the light, but this game definitely is still worth it. Though many bugs can be found, such as pausing when an attack is in session freezes the attack. And other bugs can ruin the experience. Also, the fusion mechanic is cheap, Alexandrite can’t even kill many of the groups of enemies in the last world. Maybe add Smokey quarts, opal, sugilite, or others. Otherwise this is a great game overall. Just, add a skip intro button .-.

Garbage. This is one of the worst games I’ve ever played. Unfair advantages, enemy spam, and boring gameplay. For one some enemy’s have extra health and shields that someone times will replenish in one turn. Big enemies are a big contributor to this they have lots of defense so it makes it that gems with 10 power or more are basically doing no damage to big enemy’s with your low attack. Two, strong enemy’s with high attack, defense, or health. Will be spammed relentlessly showing that no thought was put into the battles/gameplay. You also don’t get any new characters at all so it just repetitive after a short time. Lastly, the game just isn’t fun, it gets repetitive after a while and the lack of different enemy’s or good secrets only makes me think that this game had no thought put into it and was a massive oversight to get into the gaming world as soon as possible without any thought or effort put into the game.

Love the game but.... I wish there was a way to skip the intro video. Every time I go in the app it goes through the long intro. I used to have this game on a galaxy phone, but now I have it in an iPhone. On my galaxy, I could skip the intro, but I don’t see an option for that on my iPhone. Please let there be a skip option for the intro video, that way I don’t have to waste 2 minutes waiting to play the game. Thank you.

BEST RPG EVER?!?. I'm on world three in the game right now, so far I have no complaints. It's an addicting game with cute graphics and does justice to the animated series. Also, I think it's totally worth the money, there's no in-app purchases and wi-fi isn't needed to play the game. I see how the game might be short for some people but I think it's just right for the storyline that it has. Maybe in a future update do a mini sequel and add more playable characters tho? Would really like to use connie or lion.

Great game, worth the money. This is by far the best Steven universe game put out. I thought it was gonna be short and easy, and my mom got scammed when she paid for it, but I was wrong! This game gets more and more challenging as you go! I could go on and on about how great this game is, but that would waste my time to play it Go away I’m on a video game Update - during the orange land, I ran away from an ambush. But then when I went to where I was ambushed, it obviously started an ambush and..... or did it? No. It froze my game and I had to leave because I couldn’t use run away. Can you plz patch this? I would be honored if you did! Thx for making this game! Wait lemme add something.... o I’m gonna get on the game! But I’ll write review while I wait FOR THE MINUTE LONG UNSKIPIBLE INTRO TO GO DIE IN A HOLE. Yeah I think you can see my issue - a kid

Wonderful, but one problem. This game is a lot of fun, and if you like Steven Universe, then it's even more so. Just one issue. Whenever I play Pearl and attack on the sand level (the chest level where you don't have access to your whole backpack) she freezes. There's absolutely nothing I can do to fix it besides restart the game. But if I forget and try to attack with Pearl again later, I'm right back to freezing again. Now that I'm pretty far along in my game, Pearl is the one that is buffed up the most for attacking, so not using her is quite a handicap for me. Cartoon Network, please fix this. Seriously, it's the ONLY issue I have with the game. Just unfortunately it's a big one when you can't complete or continue on. When it's fixed I'll adjust my review to 5 stars.

For all those people who has problems with the game. Ok so for those who think the game make you go through the intro and think it can’t be unskip well tap the screen and you can skip the intro Real review: i think attack the light is a cool game yes some areas need a item further in the game and when you get it you need to go all the way back (basically back tracking) but other than that its a cool game nice battle system, a weird but cool story and also its funny seeing steven break the 4th wall when explaining an RPG to pearl.

Would buy and play a sequel. This game was too short, but it was fun. Don’t use Pearl’s base attack against a chameleon...the game freezes and you have to start all over. I liked the idea behind the badge system, but it was practically useless because of the length h of the game. “I’m goin to strategically use THIS badge -gets new badge immediately- I mean THAT new badge.” Never had to use Amethyst EVER. Only used Garnet to break shields. Spammed Pearl’s fireball or javelin the entire time. I don’t see any replay value here, but I’d spend a dollar or two to play a sequel...assuming there were new things to do.

❤️! But needs tweaking!. I really love the game, but I didn’t give 5 stars b/c when you earn power ups, boosts, etc. all of them aren’t explained, & you have to figure them out- if you can that is; even after trying some of the power ups/boosts, I’m still not 100% sure what they are/how they work (I.e. how/when to use all of Steven’s boosts w/ his ukulele, how all the different types of Cat Cookies work, etc.)- which’s VERY FRUSTRATING! 😕😑😑 Even if they didn’t tell you what every single thing was, &/or what they do (as you earned them), it’d be nice if you could at least tap on the boosts/powers (especially when you’re not fighting) to find detailed content on how/when they’re best utilized. (It’d also be nice Not to have to go thru the Intro scene Every Single Time to reach the main stage, but this is a Minor irritant compared to the other. 🙃) Whenever this ☝🏽 is tweaked, it’ll be perfect! It has a great storyline, plays like the cartoon, & everything flows smoothly from scene to scene! 😍😊

Its pretty good. It just needs an update.. So this game is very good, but the only problem is that when you beat it theres no point in playing it anymore. I got all the achievements and badges and im done, But I still want an update. for the update, I was thinking “Maybe you should be able to choose who fuses with who. And it can be multiple people. But not all four of the crystal gems.” I also think that at the end, you should fight the diamonds. As you can see in the beginning of the game in the intro, steven is a kid. Which means the diamonds haven’t negotiated with steven and the crystal gems. Just an idea, hopefully you guys see this review. love the game. Just want an update.

Incredible. This is by far one of the best mobile games I have ever played, and is more than worth the money. The overall feel of the game is just as bright and energetic as the show we all know and love. The style is consistent, the gameplay is fast, easy and addicting, and the levels and enemies look like they're pulled straight from an episode of Steven Universe. I play this while I'm waiting for new episodes, or whenever I'm bored and need a little action. The bugs are few and far between, and they rarely interfere with my playing sessions. There are some great opportunities for additional content, but I think we've got much more to look forward to from SU. I could go on and on, but I urge you to buy the game if you happen to be considering it. It plays like a Super Mario RPG, looks like the cartoons you know and love, and has a soundtrack you'll adore. Now, I'm off to play through again- for the sixth time. :)

Fantastic Are Pee Gee. This game is simple, the combat is easy and I played on the original difficulty without dying once. But the diamond difficulty is where it gets fun. The fusions, the monsters, the choices of wether you want to make fun of pearls nose. So much fun! My only complaint is that the puzzles are way to easy. I don't see the point of having them. But rather way this is one of my favorite apps by far!

Great Game!!. Buy Now!!! The game is amazing, one thing I love about these games is it isn't a pay to win game since those gets outta hand. The story is brilliant, the concept of it is fantastic. One thing I want them to add is an arena on how long the player could last against endless hordes of enemies without any usable items, but anyway great game I recommend downloading it's worth the purchase!!!

Pretty Good. The art and music for this game is amazing but I have some issues with the gameplay. Easy mode is too easy and diamond mode is too hard and can get pretty tedious. The instructions and tutorials for both modes are the same but they have slightly different game mechanics, I seriously thought I was losing my mind until I switched to the easier mode where the instructions made more sense. The characters could be more balanced too, find myself using garnet 95% because she's the most effective. It's pretty fun tho. I only find myself playing for like 5 hour sessions like a console game but i don't play very often.

More levels please!! 💎. I saw a commercial for this app on TV and I just had to get it! I really like this app. The story behind it is very creative and unique, and the gameplay is awesome! The gem's attacks are cool too, and I like how Steven can help out by giving them items and badges. I completed the game in both normal and diamond mode and got 100% on each level. I wish there was another bonus level maybe. I enjoyed this game very much. Thank you! Goodbye. 🙂

Amazing Game. This game is truly a masterpiece. Where do I begin? The overall plot is great, easy to understand and very unique as well. The graphics are very colorful and fun too. The attacks give simple action commands to make it fun and not frustrating to pull off an attack. The leveling up system is like the classic vibes of getting the choice to upgrade your stats or better yet, a brand new attack. The boss battles and enemy encounters aren't annoying because you should have the necessary attacks and stats to deal a decent amount of damage. The items are fun to use too. They can range from healing items or a temporary boost to your firepower. You also have 4 characters to choose from to attack which makes some bosses a complete joke. There's still challenge however. In this game, blocking mechanics are introduced and if you don't time your blocks correctly, you could end up taking a huge chunk of health. You also have to time your attacks correctly because in this game, you can get a bonus attack for extra damage on any attack. This is mandatory if you want to not die all the time. If your not able to deal damage to the boss and if you're not able to time your blocks correctly, this game was not made for you. Overall, this game is amazing. I would definitely recommend it and it is definitely worth your 3 bucks.

game breaking glitch. on world 4-4, i had found the chest with the blue key, then had closed out my game for a few, came back, and i tried opening the door with the key and it said i didn’t have the key, but i go back to the chest and it’s already opened. And i tried everything but the key is just gone and i cannot proceed without it, and my only option is restarting but i’m too far into the game so quitting is the only option sadly, considering how great the game is.

Amazing!!. Beautiful graphics, gameplay, and music. Based off of one of the best shows on Cartoon Network, Attack the Light is one of my favorite apps I have. Totally worth the 3$ spent and would buy again any day. It says for kids 9-11 but I'm older than that and it keeps me completely interested and thoroughly entertained. This is a really good game and I cannot stress enough how good both Steven Universe and its game are.

Wonderful game, some broken programming. Okay, so the game itself is absolutely amazing, and I would recommend it to any fan of Steven Universe. It's great for people who do or don't play games regularly. However, there are a couple of things wrong with the app that I would like to point out. First of all, don't lock your phone while playing it. The app closes itself when you open it back up. Second, when you go left on the title screen to see four buttons, only two of them work, settings and credits. You can't view achievements, and the More button doesn't work. Maybe I'm the only one having these problems, but they're really just small annoyances. Get around it shutting off by switching to another app before locking your phone. The buttons are just broken though, no getting around that. Other than those, play the game. I love it, and I've played through it three times now.

Badge bug - please fix it. Attack the Light is probably my favorite RPG app that I’ve ever played! I really enjoyed everything through my first play through a few years ago. However, now that I’m revisiting the game, there’s an bug that the any badges I apply to Gems won’t stay on between levels, and I can’t use those badges again unless I restart the app. Please fix this when you can, and thank you very much

Glitch problems. I really love this game but there are some problems. For instance, when I have defeated the final boss the red one and the boss turns into Steven and it blacks out it exits the entire game and I never got the red color on my prism I believe it is a glitch. If you could please fix it that would be really helpful. Also add Homeworld to it and new characters and new fusions and level them up more please this game is awesome and should keep going up more

Fun for Steven Universe and RPG fans alike. Four star rating primarily because the app is no longer being updated/supported. I am still able to play fully on my new iPad 6th generation with iOS 12.1.1, but the app will occasionally crash without warning, often causing you to partially lose progress on the stage. So far I’ve not lost items from chests or achievements at least. In particular, I crashed multiple times right after the 2nd boss, forcing me to fight it again each time. Be wary and patient! —————————————————————————— This game is incredibly addicting if you want a simple RPG with mechanics clearly designed for a touch screen. I’ve found myself getting sucked in for hours at a time due to the simplicity, and the style they used (the simplistic models like when characters are very small in frame in the TV show) is very charming. The dialogue boxes are not narrated, but the little snippets of voice lines from the original show’s cast are really endearing. I would approximate the game to be maybe ~15 hrs long in total, though I wasn’t timing myself! The achievements are all very reasonable too, for those who care. If you’re on the fence, please don’t hesitate! It’s definitely worth the couple of bucks. :]

Loved it!!!. I loved this game, it's fun and can be challenging for the most part of the game. I love the customization in this game from leveling up and choosing what is needed most at that point to equipping badges for much needed boost. Only real complaint is the shortness in the game. Maybe more worth noting is the lack of balance from the badges. About a third of it is really useful and the rest I could live without. But I haven't played much RPGs on mobile (new and innovative) that was this much fun in a long while. Full recommendations on this game easy.

Solid game!. I loved this game so much, I beat the whole thing in 3 days. I just wish it were longer, also the normal mode became pretty easy. I have yet to try it on Diamond mode. The only other gripes I have are minor, like Steven's ukulele makes the sound of a mandolin, yet they have tons of ukulele songs in the show, so that makes zero sense. Also, Alexandrite seemed pretty weak and pointless. And I would have liked less annoying music during battles. Other than those things, this was an amazing game, especially for mobile.

Amazing TV Show Based RPG. This game is a wonderful experience to a Steven Universe fan! It has just a little of everything that makes the show so great, but with a story disconnected from the plot of the show, which makes how canon to the show this game is irrelevant. The unique battle system, beautiful areas, and amazing music make this game a must play for any Steven Universe fan. I do just want to mention one glaring flaw that makes this game a cakewalk if you know it, which due to the time I’m writing this review will most likely never be patched. If you use a white star fruit in battle then start the entire area over from the battle, all attacks will be free for the rest of the area. Maybe use it if you are struggling... or not.

Skip intro. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!. I even bought the sequal to the game on console. My only gripe with this game is the fact that i cant skip the intro. I literally have to watch the intro EVERY single time and sometimes it makes me not want to play the game because of it. Other than that i love the combat system, the graphics are amazing for a mobile game. Overall i love i would give it five stars if they change that little detail about it.

Amazing,but could be epic. I completed the whole game but I want more levels like super watermelon island and the gems have to fight Malachite but Steven has to stay behind with Peridot and gem drill where Steven goes with peridot down to the cluster also I want to have like you can add in other fusions not just Alegzandrite sorry if I didn't spell it right yeah I would like other fusions like Sardonyx,Sugilite,and Opal or a level where you play as Lapis Lazuli when she's trapping Jasper in the fusion as you fight Jasper in the fusion or like when is jail break where there in jail yeah you seriously need to add that stuff in to me it's a major disappointment so yeah that's pretty much all I had to say so plz think of my ideas and maybe add them in I put a lot of effort into this review so plz consider my ideas plz that would mean a lot to me so peace out.

Awesome game but.... Add more worlds, and more characters like lapis, peridot, and more friendly gems! Also add Greg and Connie, and more possible fusions! I really think that will help with this game popularity. And also, plz add monsters that help you like centi! I also plz want more worlds, and a infinite cave mode which you can run into homeworld gems like jasper,Rubys, aquamarine, topaz,and I also wish you create more homeworld gems like emerald, and more gems!(I don’t know my crystals) love dis game, also add customizations because I remember in the episode “bismuth” I saw pearl got a trident, amethyst got wrecking balls on her whip, and garnet got spikes on her gauntlets. This game is a master piece, but save the light is getting too much for attack the light. I know you are the same creators as save the light, but please add more stuff.

💜 but some bugs and suggestions. There was a bug in the 3rd “world” gauntlet level where pearl just glitched and froze so I had to quit out force close the game and start again on the level. Also instead of having hidden “stores” for the gems you get from killing monsters maybe just have one available on the pause meanie except on diamond mode. Cuz sometimes you want to buy something and your gems are full and you don’t get to carry anymore and have to spend the time to find the stores again. Maybe mark which levels they are on so we don’t have to remember. Also I’m not sure there is a way to upgrade how many fighting star points you start with or your max but hopefully there is so you don’t always have to use an item or wait a turn to do certain moves as you get more powerful. Otherwise I absolutely love it! The art the music and the RPG aspect the fighting style are all wonderful! 💜

Don’t waste your money tbh. I don’t know why this app has such high reviews… I love Steven universe and the other games in this series are great! But this one is just SO bad! If it weren’t steven universe I would’ve given up a while ago. I’m about half way through the game and only had a proper place to heal all my team members TWICE and those spots only let you heal once.. you can’t go back to earlier levels without completely closing out of the game due to poor menuing. There’s so many high level enemies and the gems are super super weak and all the moves take a crazy amount of points to do anything. You only get 5 points and it takes at least 2 to do anything aside from a very weak pearl attack and then the “good attacks” barely scratch the enemies. The timing is completely unforgiving. If I miss a defend I lose literally half my HP on a character and like I said before good luck healing anywhere. They probably didn’t have good funding for the game I don’t understand why the reviews are so glowing..

Really great, but really short. Now, don’t get me wrong. I love this game and the series. I think it’s insanely imaginative. But, it’s really short too. Beat it in under a day plus maxing out my characters. Diamond mode was a bit harder, but it still took me less than a day to complete. If you want to play an rpg with recognizable characters, then by all means download it. It’s really good and will keep you busy. But if you’re looking for a game that’ll last you long, then this isn’t the one you’re looking for.

Perfect but only one problem. This game is perfect but there is one bug that keeps bugging me out in world four this bug crashes the game for some reason and for me it happened on the world for boss twice one when I was in the middle of it in one when I was about to finish it besides that everything else is perfect and maybe even add in the sequel on mobile

Amazing Game - just 1 issue. This game is pretty great; it plays like the original Paper Mario or Mario and Luigi games. Timing-based action commands make it one of my favorite games for iOS. The only issue I have with the game is that the badge system seems to be buggy. I will equip badges but they don’t show up after one battle during which they are equipped. The badges appear grayed out until I quit the game and try again.

Loved it but.... I loved the game had good graphics was fair fun items and challenging but I was going for 100% when i realised I can't progress i'm missing 2 gem from 100%. One In the Orange Chapter lvl 2 and one on lvl 4 of the orange chapter. All I'm saying is there a bug or it set so you have to open a particular secret area at time then next and then the next. In conclusion l loved the game recommend you to pick it up but there this "Bug/glitch thing. Bye

The game is great but... This is such a brilliant game, it's very enjoyable and a great time waster and I want to give it 5 stars but the one thing that bugs me with this game is the level cap. Capping the gems level at 30 is ridiculous. Please raise the cap to 40 or 50 at least.

Very good, but too short and a little glitchy.... The is by far one of the best apps I have ever bought; but I have found it to be a little too short. A lot of people are say they would like an additional story-line, which is an excellent idea and I believe would make more people want to purchase the app. I did find it had a few glitches; though they were minor and did not directly impact on the wonderful game play. One glitch was that, whilst playing, some enemies stopped their movement animation, and stayed till unless attacked or defeated; another is being unable to open the achievements. Other than these small problems, it is an amazingly addictive game and extremely fun the play. WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!

I can’t do the boss level on the third island (yellow island / orange island). The two first islands are 100% completed however, the boss level on the third island is still locked for me. I made sure all of my levels have been done properly and completed 100% but it’s locked and I don’t know how to unlock it. Please help!!!

Pleasing to a fan.. Aside from a game-breaking bug I'm having at the end of the final cutscene that is preventing me from winning and getting the achievement, it's an awesome game! I'm a Steven Universe fan and it was really pleasing to play this game. It was an awesome tribute to the series and I can't wait for the sequel save the light! HYPE!

Amazing game.. First positive review I have ever written for any app ever. I am a huge Steven universe fan, and this game just made me love Steven universe a whole lot more. I'm a bit disappointed that there's only one gem fusion but I'm still happy how the game is. 5/5 game. Must have.

Achievements. This game has got to be one of the best games I have ever played on my phone, it's addictive, enjoyable and stunning but the only thing I'm having troubles with is the "100% achievement" it just won't pop up I finished every level replayed them and still no resolution but every other achievement has popped up saying that I have completed it. Absolutely fantastic! 💎. This game has it all - Secret areas, treasure chests and best of all, The Crystal Gems!! This game is worth far more than $4.49 AU! Attack The Light has simply beautiful art and storyline, you can really see the massive effort that was put into making this awesome game. It poses quite the challenge if you don't have the right strategy which makes it all the more thrilling, it's great to finally play a game that you can't just race through! The secrets in each world give the game just that little bit more we all need, too. It's great to unlock a secret warp pad or get hold of a key to discover a new area. I would definitely recommend Attack The Light to absolutely everyone, even if they aren't a SU fan. Everything about the game is just so beautiful and it was so well made! If you're reading this and haven't got Attack The Light yet, you're missing out, buy it immediately! You won't be disappointed!! Now for some quick tips! If you're struggling in a new level, go back to previous worlds and battle the enemies there multiple times so you can farm XP to level up. Once you level up, your gems will be much stronger to take on the badder baddies in the next levels! Bubble all of your team, never leave anyone un-bubbled! Bubbles absorb 1 hit thus saving you a lot of health that could have been wasted. When an upgrade appears to level up Steven, go for the one that reduces the star cost of his bubble ability! When you level up a character, always pick an upgrade that'll make them hit much harder. This combined with the bubbles will make you unstoppable! Hope this helps, now if you haven't, go buy Attack The Light!

quality on every level. i'm a huge SU fan, but i kinda expected this game to be, well... aimed at kids. y'know - incredibly easy, cheesy story, no actual voice acting, bad animation. i'm so glad i was so wrong!! attack the light is a fantastic game AND a fantastic steven universe tie-in. the art is beautiful (and i appreciated that the sprites for steven and the gems look like the chibi versions used for faraway shots in the show!!), the animation is smooth and cute, the voice acting is really good, there's a surprising amount of tactics and strategy required, and even without diamond mode it actually poses a pretty good challenge even to adults! (of course, i say that as someone who's only a casual RPG player, but still.) i'd absolutely recommend attack the light to all RPG fans, and if you're even the most casual of steven universe fans, you honestly have no excuse not to pick up this game. do yourself a favour!

Steven Universe was the best but.... I love Steven universe it’s my all time favourite show and I love the game, but I finished it very quickly and I couldn’t get 100 percent, I even look in every level to check if a red gem was up for sale.

Get On the LEVEL. This game is absolutely AMAZING but one thing is that for some reason it says that my characters are over lv: 9000 but otherwise another great game by cartoon network :)

Nearly Perfect!. I love the art style, it really matches the video game feel, and the entire game is so much fun! Unfortunately there are a few issues with how it runs. Sometimes there's a glitch and I can't move the screen to the next part of the dungeon, or right in the middle of a dungeon after a few fights it just straight up crashes. A little annoying and can be super frustrating after a hard battle, but when that's not happening it's great!

It's a great game but. I'm very disappointed to not see Estelle in the credits (Garnet's VA)

Captures the Charm of Steven Universe. I think this might be the best tie-in game I've ever played. The storyline of Steven Universe does lend itself to the exact scenario in the game (no surprise given the clear retro gaming influences on the show), but it's the extra bits that make me smile - like Steven trying to convince the Gems to fuse, or his enthusiasm for RPG tropes. It's given me a solid few hours of entertainment so far, which I think hits the sweet spot for the price and the game quality.

Great game. I love the show, and now I love the game, the attacks are great and I love the one liners Steven and the gems use, just hope to see more characters and fusions in the future

Super fun!!. SUPER FUN AS HECK! Although, one bug keeps occurring with me: every time I finish a level, when I teleport out into the next, the game crashes at the loading screen every time. Luckily it saves progress tho! I play on an iPhone 4S w/iOS 8 so yeah! Still super fun!

Steven Universe fans ➡️😍. Definitely worth it, it's a strategy/action game and about a few hours long for an average player. My one criticism would be that it's a little to easy, very glad diamond mode is their to make it harder but still when Steven's stocked up on a lot of items it still is not super challenging. I love it though, the voices, the style, the conversations, the roaming around Steven universes world and the STRATEGY different enemies, different moves, levelling up, equipping badges... Even if your not a fan of the show its a great game! 🙂 2020 May update: An update messed up the game a little. It keeps unequipping badges (in game upgrades) from your characters and then blocks you from re-selecting them. The only way to fix it is to get rid of the game tab all together to sort of reboot the game (you don’t lose any progress or items when doing this but still annoying). I hope this changes and when it does I will change my review back to 5/5

Great game. This game is a great rpg for your mobile. The game just oozes with the charm and you can see that a lot of care has gone into creating this game. The only problem with this game is that it doesn't have much post game content, but that is a minor nitpick. The game has a good length for what you play and the gameplay takes inspiration from the Mario rpg series. All round a good game!

Probably one of the best app games...just a suggestion though. I really love this game, great graphics, great story line etc. I love it so much I just can't stop playing! 😍 Would hopefully like to see a few added extras/improvements in the future though. One of these being the level 30 cap on the gems, I'd like to level them up more than this, it seems quite pointless and wasteful to be battling and receiving XP that goes no where :/ it'd also be great if the gems could fuse with each other (into opal or one of the other many gem fusions the gems are able to do). These are just small minor things that I am being picky with though, the game itself is fantastic! Would love to maybe see it go longer... Perhaps there could be a sequel? 😉

ATL is great. The game is amazing with awesome powers and abilities one thing I have with it though is FUSION as you can only form Alexandrite through 9 Stars and Full HP If CN took Tighe time and patience into this mechanic then Sardonyx, Sugilite and Opal could also be fused for less star points and 3/4 of HP is required

Endless Mode. Great game would be better if there was an endless mode where your items would restart and levels just for that mode and that you could keep going until everyone dies. Great game would recommend to other people.

GREAT!!!. I'm 18 and I don't normally even play games on my iPhone that often, but this game from Cartoon Network is addicting! I love the simplicity of it all but still so much of an adventure. If only it had a little more too it but for s kids game I absolutely love it! I'm playing it too much! 😂

Good game, horrible crashes. I like the game , it's simple and fun but what completely ruins the fun for me are those pesky crashes. The game doesn't remember if the boss is defeated but it will remember all items used so you will end up losing items whenever the game crashes at any point. Specially after switching applications. Please fix these crashes , it's not fun to see the game crash after spending time in a boss and losing items this way.

Great game but some issues. I really pike this game but there are occasional random crashes and the main problem is how annoying the starting cutscene clip is. its unskippable, always plays whenever you start it, i timed it and it takes roughly 1:40 minutes before i can even get to the title screen. That adds up a lot. i wish there was a skip button

Skip Into. Alright so pretty good game so far. The huge problem so far is that the app forces you to go through the 2-3 min cut scene every time you launch the app. Please add a way to skip this cut scene!

Great game, small issue. In world 5 level 1 my game is glitched, I played it right beside my brothers so I know I did exactly what he did, but somehow he got 100% and I got 85%, apparently I didn't get one of the secrets, even though I did get all of them, I'm sure of it! Also enemies don't spawn on that level...

So cute and fun but trouble with crashing!. Great animation and level design. It’s clear the makers of the RPG love the show with the attention paid to the items and dialogue. At this writing I’ve tried three separate times to complete the dungeon gauntlet in the fire level and the game crashes at the same enemy each time (just as I’m about to defeat it). I hope you’ll release a fix/update to this glitch. (It would also be great if you allowed us to skip the opening cut scene).

Great game but crashing. Just got the game for my wife and I but we can't play past the first indigo boss. The game just crashes and closes the app. Would like to play because it's fun but this is an issue especially with a paid game.

Neato burrito. This game is really fun, but for some reason when I block an attack the gems are still loosing harmony. Pretty good, some glitches. When I reset the game, I was still fully leveled. It was pretty good otherwise, but there should be fusing and unfusing (for garnet and such). It’s a very good game, but it would be better with some minor finishing touches.

to meny crashes. This game is very fun but it keeps crashing when I defeat the last boss so then I loose my items that I used and on top of that I have to do the boss all over again. It also randomly crashes not just in that stage and when it crashes in a gantlet stage I loose all of my items.

Good. It's a great game honestly. It's a nice little turn based RPG with a great battle system. It hasn't crashed on me but it appears that that isn't always the case. My main problem is that it's so short. Once you beat it there's really nothing left to do unless you want to play on diamond difficulty, but there's no reward to that.

Good review. For me the game never crashes and is totally completable you find red gems in chests and shops it’s not hard, but it’s fun. Really don’t listen to the bad reviews. It could be updated to include the gems new forms and lapis, peri, bismuth or even Connie. Still a great game though

Actually 4 1/2 stars... I love this game, it's really promising about the fact that there is no in-app purchases, (everyone hates those) but, the reason I simply couldn't give it five stars is because it feels a little bit.. short. The story is nice an' all but I really wanna play more, I just beat the game in a week and a half, and the gameplay itself was ten out ten, but the amount of it was WAY smaller then I thought. Anyway, there's also another thing I wanted to cover really quick: When I use Pearl's original attack in the game, her neck is glitchy, it appears on her face. SKIP INTRO. Got this game because the reviews were good. Can’t play this game because I have to sit through the intro EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP. Seriously - mobile games are enjoyed a few minutes at a time. Best games are those you can bust out when you have 5 minutes to kill. If I have to spend 2 of those minutes watching the intro video every single time, it’s not worth it. Be happy to review the actual game, but unlikely to be opening it until updated.

Tons of non-stop fun but....... I got this game the very day it came out and I beat it twice. But I want another game where the story is trying to find Malachite and she is the final boss but this time you have Peridot as a character or you hunt Peridot down. I also want more worlds to discover! I would love to explore Mask Island!

Great game but needs more content. It would be great if there were more characters. It would be amazing if they added peridot because she's a crystal gem. I know she's pretty useless in combat but seeing as Rebecca sugar is a genius she'll figure something out. Or instead of playing the story they've set up you can play as lapis. But either way BEST RPG EVER!!!!!!

Plz fix bug. This game is amazing don’t get me wrong but when I press the button to go back to the beach house, it kicks me out and when I finished the game after the ending cutscene, it kicks me out and I cannot get the achievement “We Will Always Save the Day”

Love it but it needs jasper,opal,sugalite,. By god I love the show so I got the game ad loved the rpg aspect but I want to be jasper so bad she's my favorite maybe a sequel were you can be any gem you want with a mandatory steven of course but all other fusions and gems so u can beat up te final boss with a steven and jasper fusion just a though but awsome game

It’s Great but.... I love the game but theres a problem. I don’t know if it’s with everyone or it’s just my phone but on the first boss level the game kept crashing. It’s crashed twice now. Also can you add a skip button in the intro? It’s pretty annoying watching the gems say the same thing every time I open the app! Thanks! ~🍐

No sound. I downloaded attack the light but there’s no sound in the opening credits during the dialogue or sound when I’m in the main options screen. There aren’t any subtitles to read either. Really annoying because I have no idea what they’re saying. I’ve updated my iPhone software, I’ve removed and re-downloaded the app 8-12 times already they’re aren’t any game updates I don’t have. My internet connection is great. I’ve restarted both the app and my phone. Idk what to do.

AMAZING, SO FUN! But it keeps crashing.. Ok this game is definitely worth your money, at first it seems pretty hard but strategy is a key to this game. Only thing is i’m trying to defeat the blue boss but whenever I get it’s health bar past halfway the game crashes. Please fix this problem! Other than that the game is amazing!

Believe in Steven!. A must have for any Steven Universe fan, or anyone else! Great graphics, interesting storyline, and fun RPG. It starts out easy, but gets a little tricky... prepare to take on the challenge! The only reason I took away a star is that sometimes it glitches when I try to open the app. I solve this by turning my device completely off and back on, which normally helps. But besides that... BELIEVE IN STEVEN!

Fun, but short!. I LOVE THIS GAME! I’ve been a fan of Steven universe since I was a freshman in high school, (I’m a college sophomore now), and this game doesn’t let me down! The story is cute, and all the characters are in character! The only complain I have is that I went through the game in a very short amount of time. It didn’t last that long at all, which made me feel disappointed in the end.

Short but sweet. I love it. Got hooked instantly, but I beat it within a day with 100% on every level. I will try on diamond mode but I really hope they add more levels! Would be fun to have optional characters like lapis and peridot, as well as other fusions. Thank you grumpyface games!

Great Games, UPDATE PLEASE!!?!!?. Hello this RPG reviewer luckygremont and I would like you "the creators" to consider for the next update these following suggestions 1.Peridot "For being the new crystal gem." 2.Adding fusions like Opal, Sugalite, and Sardonx. 3.Adding more skills,challenges. 4.Giving the characters "Garnet, Amethyst"new outfits 5.Changing your team around around Well anyway I believe most people will agree that this would be a wonderful update for season two and Steven Bomb four. Fantastic game. I went into the game thinking that it was just going to be another Cartoon Network money-grab (hello, Adventure Time games), but this actually turned out to live up to the RPG name! Great story, feels exactly like a Steven Universe episode. The battle mechanics were very fun, reminiscent of Paper Mario. Overall, one of the best apps I've played.

Great but a big bug💔. So I went on playing one day and and while I was loading and then the sound shut off and it would never turn in and I know this was a small review but it has no sound and I like sound and I hope they fix it someday

Loads of Fun. Really fun, simplistic yet fun. Often times RPG games become too complicated and that distracts from the easy to play nature of mobile gaming. I would have liked a tad more customization of the characters but nothing too complicated. Also please dear God tell me you are making more levels! I didn't want to stop playing.

Super Good!. I love playing this app. Me and my dad love to play together, I also love it because it’s like another app for save the light. Talking about save the light, I have one complaint, I did the forest boss 4 times and won but I still don’t advance. It just stays there with the engine and I’m really mad. So please fix that for save the light. But except for that this game is awesome!!

A bug! One that really needs to be fixed!. So, I was just in the middle of playing this game and then all of a sudden, it crashed! I’m not complaining about it crashing, I’m complaining because when it kicked me out, it deleted ALL of my progress! Please fix this bug ASAP!

Why?!. I haven’t played this game yet, but I played it in the past. I tried to download it again, but it takes more than 24 hours to just get half of the progress. This really irritates me and frustrates me. I have enough room in my storage, so I don’t know what’s the problem, and I hope I get help to know what the hell is going on. Thank You.

Love this game!. This game is amazing! Everything from the gameplay and the storyline! The one thing that I must add is that this app keeps on crashing for no reason. 😡 It happened multiple times too, once in the middle of a boss battle.

Good but could be great. This game could use some more content and levels. I wish there was more customization and have Lapis Lazuli and Peridot. It could also use a free play mode or a little base you can customize and explore. I'll update this to 5 stars after the game gets an update for more content.

Amazing but just one problem😊. I think this game is great! The only problem I have with this game is that when I open the app, it just shows how the problem started all over and then I can go back to what level I was on before. That’s the only problem I have with this game. But this game is amazing.

Amazing Game!. I love all of Cartoon Network games and shows but My most favorite show is Steven Universe. It is the best show in history even though it is number 8 in Cartoon Network shows it will always be my favorite :] And keep more shows coming! And I also almost finished the game.

Is LEGENDARY but.... I absolutely love this game and since I downloaded it, I could not stop playing! The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the game is short, and it would be a whole lot better there were two new worlds and more characters and more FUSIONS. The app I am describing is technically Save the Light, this game’s sequel. I just wish it had more stuff...

Way fun!. Love this game! Playing through again after they added Diamond mode. Would really like to see Grumpyface develop another Steven Universe adventure in the same style as this... especially if we can get more characters in the fray like Peridot and Lapis and Connie...

More levels!!. I would say this is a great RPG except this was three dollars and I beat the game within 24 hours and it had only 20 levels don't get me wrong it's an amazing game but it needs to have a decision for which fusion you may want or maybe add peridot but definitely more levels

My fav, but bug has popped up. This is by far my favorite app game, but I’m currently having trouble with this bug where the badges keep being unequipped, and I can’t get them back on without closing and restarting the game. I tried to find a form to fill out bug reports, but to no avail, so writing it in a review is the best I can do.

It's a good game, but.... It's the best thing ever really,but there's a glitch in the second to last warp world when you fight the boss it just boots me out of the game just for me to restart all of that damage and it doesn't even give me back the items I used in that fight, so please Cartoon Network, fix this bug, or glitch.

Crashing too often, but fun when playable. Love the adorable graphics and the gameplay, but the game’s already crashed twice on me in an hour and the opening sequence plays every time you reopen and gets tedious fast, since it’s unskippable. At this rate, I’m not sure I’ll ever get through the game. Content-wise, charming and addictive. Stability-wise...questionable. Opening sequence: way too long for something that repeats. every. single. time.

Suggestion. Trust me when I say this, this game is freaking awesome, but I would like another chapter where you play as lapis and peridot and Connie. Steven is obviously going to be the last character since your team consist of four people. You can even make it like a dlc. I know I would pay money for it

IM SO ADDICTED but bugs. This is the best RPG I’ve ever played in my life but there is a bug with Pearl in world 3 on the gauntlet stage on the third battle if Pearl attacks the middle chameleon with spear throw then attacks it with the spear (the first move) my phone will crash. Please fix this bug Pearl is the main character I use

Good game used to love. I got this game years ago and loved it I just recently downloaded it again to try it out and it’s just like I remember it’s fun I don’t think it’s that hard the final few levels are difficult but it’s fun and the characters are so cool

Can you make Steven be able to fight..... I love the game, so creative! But, Steven needs to be able to fight. Like, He has a stick and he uses it to fight. Because Connie has Pink Diamonds/Rose quartz’s sword. Like, he finds the stick before the first boss. Anyways, He might find a sword after like the third boss. I dunno, I just started playing this game. So please, Make him be able to fight. ( I am a 7 year old child typing this)

Yes, but actually no... I bought this thinking it was save the light, but I soon found that is was very different from the videos I saw. There were a bunch of fusions in save the light, but only one in attack the light. There are barely any areas to explore, but in save the light it fills you with so much curiosity. Attack the light is garbage compared to save the light, so I recommend getting that instead of this.

awesome game, add more levels. love the game so much, I would love it if there were more levels though. I finished the whole game in a week and would enjoy more levels. Maybe Steven could participate more now that the show has shown he has more abilities

Great but...... This is a well designed game, I just have to say that the missions are really repetitive and get quite boring. Also, you have to revisit almost every level to complete something you couldn't do before, which gets pretty annoying. Overall, I have to say it's a pretty decent game, other than it's repetitive.

Truly a great game! Age range is irrelevant so my fun. Going through a difficult time in life and this game just in under an hour made me forget that, albeit for a little while. Thank you to the creators of this game really brings me back to to good ole RPG days of the 90's.

Great in the real way!. Extremely well made, fun for both fans of the show and RPG lovers alike! Heavily inspired by Paper Mario including a similar art style and battle system. Lasts long enough to satisfy but is short enough as to not overstay its welcome. Definitely worth your time!

A great RPG for the fan on the go. The game itself is in the fashion of an old school JRPG with a decent story but the real sell here is the unique touch screen assist of attacks that are included in the classic turned based formula (want to see more games try that) and its lovable cast of characters.

More please!. It was clear from the start that this was a finite game, but I loved the art style and game play. I want to keep going. I've seen some development for the non-mobile game where there is interaction with Beach City characters, and side quests. It just felt like, for the price, there should be more. Please develops more for the mobile game.

Best game that can be made. I REALLY love Steven universe I’ve noticed the game has this bug with the badges where once you warp to a area it takes off a second badge that your using,and sometimes it will say that your using a badge but doesn’t show it on the character that u equip it to,other than that REALLY good game

Very great game, keeps the spirit of the show.. Wonderful and easy to use, yet challenging, RPG. My only hope is that soon the game data will sync across devices, I enjoy playing it on my AppleTV, but when I want to pick it up on my iPhone, I can't play my same game. Minor inconvenience, but that would make this game even better!

Good but needs a new update and levels. Really fun game for any Steven universe fans but there’s a problem... Once you beat the final boss the game starts to get a bit repetitive and I mean, I’ve had this game like basically ever since it was released! In My opinion there should be an update with new levels from like Steven universe the movie, change your mind , and more Overall again it’s a really good game but I think that there could be more updates and levels!!!

Love the game but needs an Update on Characters. This game is awesome overall but it needs some updating to match the show. New outfits, new characters, make it optional to fuse with only 2 characters and not all 3. If all this would happen it would make it even better.

5/5. This game overall is great just like the show itself! It's a easy to understand and not frustrating RPG. The attacks are very easy to master. Leveling up gives you a choice for a new move or character upgrade. But I would like to see this be updated with save the light.
