Convenience Fee. almost like the ticket itself wasn’t enough, this app charges a convenience fee per payment. for a front license plate ticket. california is the definition of overregulation.

What tf. I should not HAVE to download an app to pay my ticket. Breach of privacy/forced marketing much?

Does not offer any proof that you sent the payment. No payment history, no email confirmation that you sent the payment, it doesn’t make anything easier, it adds another layer of uncertainty that the ticket was paid or not

Terrible design & bot reviews. Like others I was shocked how backwards the design of this app is. Feels like a 2007 throwback. Or that it was made by a first time designer. And obviously the generic positive reviews are by bots or paid reviewers. How my city chose this provider to handle this basic municipal service is a mystery — makes you wonder who got bribed to throw the contract their way.

What an easy and convenient way to enslave poor people!. It makes it so easy to pay your parking tickets, better pay them or you lose your means to being able to get to your job and earn an income to pay off bills like parking tickets before they accrue interest. Don’t move to Los Angeles.

Looks sketchy. This app is really poorly designed. I thought I was getting phished, and went back to the city’s site to make sure they were serious, and if there was another way to pay online other than this. Hope my credit card info isn’t stolen using it, because if the app looks the way it does, I’m really worried what’s ‘under the hood.’

Don’t do it!. I already used your app, and paid ticket $73 for parking. I have absolutely no proof from this app! You put card number just push the button “pay now” and… that’s all! Is there success or error? No message at email, no note on app history. Should I check my bank account, or spam at email? I really don’t know. I am afraid to repeat the payment second time because it can be double payment from my bank account. In finally App charged me more $2! It was $75!!!

Its not working. Not working properly and i cant even find my citation in here but when i search it online i can find it so this app doesn't work

⚠️DO NOT GET THIS APP⚠️. This app is fraud. I paid a ticket through this app and got a letter in the mail claiming that I still did not pay the ticket. This app is third party and NOT liable. Do not waste your time because you will get double charged. THIS APPLICATION NEEDS TO BE TERMINATED.

JUST PAY ON WEBSITE. THIS APP IS TERRIBLE. JUST PAY ON THE WEBSITE & leave out the confusion. It’s almost as bad as the parking police.

Busted in Boston; no go 3 days later. Still doesnt work ticket not registered after 3 days. Ux is also buggy.

Scam. This app is a scam , I’m not sure why it’s recommended on People’s actual tickets and on Los Angeles City Parkings website. But this app doesn’t pay your ticket off it’s just takes your money , and also it does not give you any sort of receipt . DO NOT INPUT YOUR CARD DETAILS INTO THIS APP!

The easiest way to paid. Im so happy I didn’t have to call in to paid my parking ticket it was the easiest apt download the app a few question add Credit card to paid the ticket and add email and all together it took like 5 minutes where was you at? I’m so happy I have an easy way to paid my tickets hopefully no more but you never know living in the city and sed me my confirmation on my email thank you

Same as Boston paytix, not found. These apps cannot keep up with tickets which have been in the system for a couple weeks. I thought I would give it time, it failed, I can't wait again. Do not get this app OR Boston Paytix.

Needs updating. Use at your own caution. Like many have stated, the app said there was an error with payment or that I was processing. Your payment actually goes thru. Don’t try to pay more than once or it will process a payment every time you try. Good luck getting your money back. The app needs major updates. Seeing as how, you’re actually paying for this facilitation to pay, with processing fees, they should be able to improve this thing. Do yourself a favor and pay in person or by mail.

Scam. I have paid my toll tickets thru here and come to find out I still owe. Just got a notice stating that I never paid my tickets since 2018. Please don’t use this app it’s a scam.

Not my favorite app. I woke up, this beautiful day of December. The smile on my face, and ready to explore a city that I don’t know, I walk to my car. I see it. The ticket. The ticket that’s going to take my money. They call it a fine, but no.. it is not fine. It was night, and it was cold when I parked there. How could I know ?? My own incompetence dropped my smile on the floor. Then, to pay my « fine not fine », I downloaded that app.. I got to say it’s easier than mailing it. But I’m still not happy, so.. 1star!!

Worst App. This is the worst app I’ve used since 2009. Non stop glitches, no confirmation of payment, terrible interfaces, and all just someone can give their money to their government. 0/10. A full star out of 5 is way too generous

Fine App. This app is fine. I mean you literally pay your fines on this app. The functionality is great. Never thought paying the city for a parking ticket could be so hip.

Utter trash. Leave it to the City of Los Angeles to accept something so amateurish as a viable choice and actually pay the developer to be able to use it. This app looks like it was coded in 2008; there is no way I’m trusting it. I might as well just pay on the website.

CHANGES YOUR TICKET YOUR NUMBER. I just paid for another car after scanning the VERY ticket I was holding for my car. This app is complete scam.

Very Easy. It was very easy to do. Took me 3 minutes from start to finish. Processed very quickly and had no hassle imputing my information. 👍🏽

Deceptive. They don’t warn you about the “convenience fee.” So you pay more.

Thanks for the 2$ convenience fee. Wow what a great app! I’m so happy that you made me pay the ticket through the app and then charged me 2$ to use it. Way to go Los Angeles. I sure hope not every one who had their wonderful little hand in this DOESN'T suffocate from covid. Eat it.

Charged TWICE. I received an error stating that my debit card wasn’t working. I did the process a second time and received the same error. Once I checked my bank account I was charged TWICE. On the app it still says I owe. There’s no number for customer service so this is a real inconvenience.

Outdated. Do not use this! The also add a $2 “convenience” fee which is an insult because the app is so old and pixelated plus there way of knowing you have been charged unless you look at bank account. My kid can make a better app than this!

Double charged me, and won’t respond to my messages. First, the app displayed error messages saying my debit card wasn’t working. I carefully re-entered my card info multiple times and kept getting the same message. Eventually I went back square one to where you enter your ticket #, and re-entered that. It said I owed $0. So I checked with my bank account and it indicated I HAD been charged - TWICE! This app has a help-support option that just allows you to send them an email. I have sent two emails this way to them. So far no response. Not even a standard automated “we’ve received your message.” Also, no email confirmation of two payments or even a confirmation that I’ve registered with the app. There is no phone number listed on this app or any other way to contact them other than what I’ve described above. No other recourse whatsoever to address this.

Not bad!. The app works fine and made paying my parking ticket easier as I was having issues with the city’s website. The app could use a UI update or something different. The app feels old.

Poorly designed. This app is poorly designed. When entering your CC information, it insists on hiding it and there is no way to unhide it to make sure you typed the correct information. The Scan option picks up way too much information, and again, because you can’t unhide anything, you never know if the information it scanned it correct.

Just pay on Website. Don’t bother, Ui looks like it was made in 2006

Well, it works. Nobody likes paying tickets, me included. But at least there are some cities that let you use this app to do so. The interface is dated and all, but at least it's simple and it works. Got an email confirmation and called city hall to confirm I'm in the clear.

Horrible App. This App should of been designed to make paying tickets easier not harder ? First off when you pay the Ticket you are supposed to get a confirmation sent to your email for the payment like a receipt . This App sends nothing to your email to confirm your payments ? When I emailed the developer they said check my spam mail so I did nothing there ? Then they said call the city where I payed for the ticket & ask them for a confirmation ? What why should I even bother using this App this has happened 3 times ? Better to drive to City Hall & pay in person or use there website this App is just Idiotic ???????

City did not receive my payment. I paid my ticket through this app. A month later the city is charging me late fees and penalties because they did not receive my payment. Now I have to submit my bank statement and any email confirmation to the city for review. Safe yourself the pain. Don’t use

Easy to use and make a payment.. Self explanatory app. Paid my ticket with no issues. One you hit pay now it takes a few seconds-minutes to process. do not close app or go back even if it seems like it’s taking longer than what you would expect. I waited and once my payment was processed i received my receipt via email.

Changed my mind about tickets. Getting tickets used to make me angry but this app totally changed all that. I love paying my parking tickets now! Thanks PayTix!

$2 convenience fee. I’ll write a check, pay the postage for the highway robbery of a parking ticket. I will never pay $2 to make it easier for the city to screw me.

Worked great. Was faster and more convenient than paying online. I’m generally a hard judge and never post reviews but this was a pleasant surprise and effortless.

Terrible Design. Frustrating to use.. This app provides a basic function. It is amazing how clunky and poorly designed it is. Buttons awkwardly placed, requires unnecessary taps, and doesn’t allow the lookup by plate feature to pay multiple tickets at a time. When paying parking tickets I would choose: city website, phone, mail, this app. It’s that bad.

Really good app for paying your tickets. I got a parking ticket and was really upset about it at first. After downloading this app and realizing how easy and quick it was to pay off my ticket, it made me realize how lucky I actually was to get fined! Excited to use this app in the future as I continue to make pricey mistakes.

Just awful. You had better screenshot the confirmation because they won’t email you anything. Trash app, but what do you expect from moochers taking money for parking violations.

Doesn’t work. Got charged late fees. Paid a ticket with app in Jan. But got mail in March saying I didn’t pay so now I get to pay the city of LA more. Thanks Paytix!

Terrible App. Doesn’t provide confirmation email like it states it will, no way to check on website or app if the payment went through, app looks like it’s in 2013, don’t use this.

A design travesty. This app looks and feels like it was made by a first-time team of 5th graders in a backwoods middle school who read just enough of How to Make an App for Dummies, 1st edition from 2007. If this app came out for the original iPhone, I would’ve thought it was made as a personal affront to Steve Jobs, violating every UX principle known to man. It’s a miracle that it works.

The Reviews are accurate. Bad reviews and all, I had assumed the app would at the very least be able to fulfill its most basic purpose, especially concidering i was directed here from a government website, but yeah, It literally does not work at all.

Fake reviews. If you see any other reviews talking about how it works and all those nice stuff it’s mostly made by the company. This app is truly the worse. Charged me more then once. “Error with payment” look at my bank account to see I was charged more then once for one ticket.

This app will double charge you, do not resubmit payment after error message. I had to pay 2 tickets off, I submitted my payment information and an error messages pop up. I tried again and again and still got the error message and I went as far as to use a different card. I have now been charged a total of 4 times for 2 tickets. The app doesn’t have a functioning contact button and no confirmation email was sent.

But the morning you finally decide to kill yourself the parking enforcement gods parted the clouds and dropped a citation from the heavens and like a feather it gracefully tucked into your wiper blade. Great thing there’s an app for that! Just scan the QR code at the bottom of this fine $73 fine and just like that you kiss your unemployment check away! Oh what’s that? You were denied unemployment because $100 a week selling feet pictures online is technically a job that can afford your $2000/month studio apartment? Makes sense to me! Криворукие разрабы. Непонятно как гос учреждение нанммает таких криворуких программеров. При сканировании нет возможности ввести ручками номер, мало ли камера не работает. При возврате на пункт назад нет возможности поставить к примеру год карточки, надо обязательно поменять цифры или поле останется пустым… после оплаты в истории тикетов ничего не появилось. Так же после оплаты появилась кнопка done, даже не по середине, а немного правее центра прям поверх текста… в общем мда… Одна звезда за то, что вроде оплатил, при чем на тикете написано, оплати без комиссии! Комиссия была…

Doesn’t work.. Idk if this is an issue on the app’s end or the city of Cleveland’s end, but I tried to pay my parking ticket using this app (listed on the back of the ticket as a method of payment), a few days after receiving the ticket. When I typed in the ticket code it said my ticket wasn’t found. Same thing when I scanned it. It said the ticket wasn’t in the system. I called the phone number on the back of my ticket and was able to pay it using the automated phone system, so obviously the ticket was in the system I just couldn’t access it through the app.

SCAMMMMM. This is a SCAM WEBSITE. I fell for it. Don’t fall for this.

Wishing for Apple Pay integration. I don't get enough parking tickets to warrant installing an app, but was curious to see how it worked. The bar code scan is nice, but I wish it were integrated with Apple Pay to save entering my name and payment details.

UX of this app is a train wreck. How the government gave a contract to this person for a terrible functioning app is beyond me.
