Latest Update has made the App much better!. There were some issues with the previous version although it was still quite good. The latest version really makes this the perfect painting app. Rates can be stored for each estimating method and they can be mixed and matched on individual methods. The new labor and material estimates are perfect for quick jobs. I will will probably be adding the new cloud sync in-app. thanks guys!

Slow and crashes. Very slow and crashes. Can even get a good of the developers on the app for a refund. Very disappointed.

Easy to use, hard to beat. We’ve tried to use some other programs and ended up spending more time than the effort was worth. Painting Contractor lets you estimate each job by phase with realistic numbers for labor and materials. The estimate is detailed enough to show the customer that it based on room sizes, but easy enough me to use so that I’m not wasting time. They can sign off right on my iPad and an invoice can instantly be produced when the job is done. Very well thought out!

Don't buy. I don't understand the positive reviews. Either thia is the only app they used or they are friends and relatives. I paid $6.99 and it was just a waste of money. Very complicated to use and the learning curve is beyond any reasonable time. Tried writing an estimate for couple hrs and still don't understand how to do it. Save your money and sanity. There are free estimate apps that are really good.

Not what I thought it was . Too much time entering things not easy to use need refund. I hope they improve this

Just Converted to Version 14 - new Cloud Sync works great!.. This is a good app for tracking calls and doing estimates. It's straighforward and fast. I was able to figure it out, at lease the basics, without a big learning curve. I am sure there a lot of other features that I will pick up over time. thanks for the help!

Solid App with outstanding help desk support too!. There is most definitely a learning curve here for some of the more sophisticated estimating techniques. I watched the movies, tried a few estimates and still had questions so I called the help desk. They were responsive, really understand how the app works and were able to provide a few recommendation on how to best handle what I was trying to do. Now, the app is second nature and really helping me do better estimates and invoices. We use it on several iPhones and iPads now.

Horrible service, Non functioning app. Literally just had two years of clients, projects, labor list, materials, All estimates deleted, with the update. The app wouldn’t work, when I tried accessing previous estimates it would just exit out of the app. I’ve tried contacting the customer service number, and email. With zero response. Take in mind I paid for this app. Even now, the app doesn’t work. It won’t let you do estimates, or use the app. It will just exit out when you try. I’d avoid this app. And any other apps under Jzmobil!

Saves time and has helped my business Grow.. This app has really helped me get organized. It’s so easy to bill that my revenue has actually increased since I can add ALL my services with just a few taps. Also saves time of manually generating invoices. It does take some time and effort to set up but is well worth it once you’re rolling. I tried another app but the information was on a server and I needed a connection for it to work, not so good for me.

Very interesting and useful App for painters.. I’ve always used the SWAG method to estimate. It has been interesting to use different methods to calculate an estimate. Square feet, surface area..I had no idea. Seems like a more consistent way to do things although it is a big change. Of course, you can also do estimates the way you always have in a better looking and more organized format.

No good. Worst app! Not what I was expecting

Don’t wast your $ or time. I really wanted this app to work and to do what it says it will. I don’t mind the rough look and feel of apps as long as they can at least do the basics of what they claim they will do. This app is a mess and definitely one to avoid, especially if you have an iPhone X. Even if this app was free it wouldn’t be worth it because of the time you will spend figuring out that it really is that bad. I feel like I should send the developer a bill for my time they wasted. I kept hoping that once things were setup it would get better, but it doesn’t. ******In response to developers response: No help was asked for because my private email complaint had nothing to do with understanding the app. The app is garbage. After spending half a work day pouring through the app, clicking every setting, button, going through help support, etc. to try to produce a half way ok estimate, I was fed up. The app IS NOT FORMATTED correctly for the iPhone X series. The top menu gets jumbled at points and at certain sections you have to force close the app to get out of an un-clickable situation. Trying to say that this is the only app on the market that thousands have downloaded does not mean it works well or is fully functional. Trying to find out why customers are frustrated and fix the bugs you have are the right steps. Responding by inferring that customers with the bad reviews are from those that are incompetent or lazy is bad form. Also, using a customers name in a response on reviews is additionally inconsiderate.

Working great for over four years.. Have been using the app for 4 years now. The latest update makes the app better in landscape mode on my iPhone 11 Pro. Very useful to add full descriptions. Also, added the Scheduler InApp to schedule our work. Super! Customer service responds immediately and is very helpful.

Crashes Constantly. Looks like a great app, wish I was able to use it. Even just looking at the calendar feature is makes it shut down.

Use on Mac?. App seems great! A lot of estimates I can prepair during the walkthrough with a client. But for larger projects where I need to take my time with the estimating, why can't you have this program available for use on my Mac desktop at home. Such complex features to be working out on your phone or iPad.

Use On iPad Pro. I have been try to get this app to work but it is very buggy and crashes a lot. I’ve tried to import contacts and it crashes every time. Also when trying to delete an estimate is shuts the app down again. Please fix it.

Broken. When I go to convert estimates to an invoice the program shuts down, making it basically useless to me at the moment. I paid for all the bells and whistles but it won’t let me send an invoice, please fix this soon
