The Document Converter. This is perhaps the sixth converting app I've purchased for use on my iPad to convert .txt to .pdf. It is by far the best one. Worth every penny. Thank you for such a useful app.

Complete scam. I’ve tried to contact support now three times to cancel a subscription it made me pay for. They haven’t gotten back to me over the course of over a month. Very sketchy and unprofessional. I am still being charged for this “Premium Pass Subscription” I was forced to pay for to convert my document. I was desperate to get this file so I paid for it so I could use it briefly and I’ve tried to contact support to cancel it but no one will get back to me. I’ll be contacting Apple soon if I do not get a response.

It doesn't work. It takes forever to upload and gets stuck. I had to retry multiple times and even when it finally uploaded my file it never went any further...?! Is this a glitch?

Does exactly what it advertises.. I use it for 20-30 page documents and everything is done in less than a minute. Quite impressive.

I never write reviews... .. and when I do it is usually because I am upset about something. But Float Tech, LLC deserves for me to take a moment to acknowledge how, not just only their document converter, but ALL of their converters are LIFESAVERS — and ALWAYS work flawlessly. I am a business owner working in post-production and never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d PREFER converting video formats on my CELLPHONE as opposed to my desktop. The interface is just so clean, the app NEVER glitches or has bugs.. seriously it’s phenomenal considering the app is converting HUGE files — seriously none of their apps have ever crashed once on me and I have been using them daily for over a year now. Float Tech, LLC is one of the few exceptional developers on the App Store who releases pure gold and doesn’t ask for much in return. So I seriously recommend purchasing the full versions from them. JUST PLAIN EASY. Quite happy with the simplicity of this app. Works exactly as described. 5 star. However with most technology if your connection is poor the conversion can be painfully slow. 2nd observation is its lack of rotation with your iPads orientation, frustrating but not a deal breaker.

Does what it claims, and easily.. I have been struggling all morning to open a .wpd file sent to me late last night. I need to review the document before a legal proceeding later today. I had almost given up and was just about to call the sender and request he scan and send as a pdf when I found this app. It took seconds to install and worked on the first try. Very intuitive interface.

Bad Purchase. No matter what I did I could not use this app to its full advantage. None of the PDF files i have uploaded converted correctly, i wish I’d never paid for the lifetime pass. But eh I’ve spent ten bucks on worse!

Extremely Disappointing. Can’t even convert to PDF for free, waste of time, money and bandwidth. Perhaps it’s the fault of the App Store for suggesting your app under my search, but it was extremely misleading. Make your app paid, don’t put it out for free and make the main service of the app an in-app-purchase. Bad business model for this particular consumer.

Does not convert MSG files. I downloaded this app to convert an MSG file. It offered to convert it a number of ways, two of which would require purchasing the premium version. This allowed me to convert to PDF. I figured this would be the best option on my iPad. Sadly, neither this function, nor any of the other functions converting from MSG worked. Thankfully, I am only out $10.

Must use App. All you want to convert one Document to another.

DOESNT WORK. Worst app ever. I bought the full version, took a picture of a simple text and It didn’t convert it. I wasted my time!!!!! So frustrating.

Garbage. You can do the same thing online using a Google search to convert files FOR FREE

Easy to use. Downloaded several of these apps and none supported my file except this app. It was easy to use and super quick also very inexpensive in comparison to others. They also offered a free trial. With that being said download it!

Bait and switch!. It’s all about money they want your credit card But don’t worry turn off the field you today they’re going to bill you seven days when you forget to cancel it

I like this app. I had been struggling for about four hours over a period of 2 days. Trying to convert a epub file to document pdf. Finally it begin to work and did so very well. I hope it continue to do so. If so, I have not found another app better than this one. Yes, I recommend it. I had the old app and updated to this one. I don't understand why it keep trying get me to pay more money. OTHER THAK THAT...THIS IS A GREAT APP.

They no longer convert documents. I emailed support and received a confirmation that they no longer do. The email response directly from their customer support was “Sorry, the app no longer converts directly from web. Please download the file to your device and convert the downloaded file.” so download if you enjoy completely pointless apps taking up space on your phone!

Couldn’t convert doc to pdf or jpg. The sole reason I paid the $10 was to convert a word doc to pdf. Keeps failing. And Q&A isn’t helpful. Only offered “why my pdf won’t convert” which explains why a pdf might not convert to other formats, not the other way around. So instead I tried to convert to jpg, because I have another app that converts jpg to pdf... but this app converts it to a zip file instead, and says use izip to open it. I have to download ANOTHER app to open the zip file to get the jpg to convert it to a pdf??? Seriously?!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. That was $10 wasted. Downloaded an ePub file and wanted to convert it to PDF. Should be a simple process but not with this app. The app had trouble downloading the file, but after several tries it was downloaded. Then it tried to convert it and that was a total disaster. Tried several times with no success. After about 15 minutes of telling me it was converting the app simply closed. Needless to say for me it does nothing it says it will do.

Terrible File Management. Uploaded and converted files are randomly sorted in the history. They aren’t sorted by name, date or otherwise. To find a file that’s already been uploaded or converted, you have to scroll through the history looking for the file you want one by one. Also, there is no way to delete multiple files at a time. You eventually accumulate many files and to clear them, you must select them one at a time and choose delete.

Converts document easily. I was looking for something easy and not expensive. Just to do a few documents but not very often. This was easier than I expected. Found it quite by accident. Very pleased with the final results.

No longer free past 2 uses, forces you to buy a subscription. Not worth it.. This used to be a decent, simple app to convert pdf files. Unfortunately now it’s useless as the app refuses to let you convert anything until you sign up for a monthly subscription. Sorry, but i don’t convert enough PDF files for that. This is a once or twice a year thing, so if you think I’m paying a monthly fee for that you’re crazy. Uninstalled.

Perfect!! 10 Stars!. Just what I needed to convert a .pdf to pages file. The app works quickly and it’s simple to use. Not sure why all the negative reviews lately. I wanted to try the app, downloaded and was given a free lifetime premium subscription. Not sure if I needed anymore than what was already free, but a huge THANK YOU to the developer for the premium upgrade. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic app. Very easy to use. Allows me to print Word documents via the Konica app which only prints PDF'S I use it every day.

App simplicity. This app is very well made even even The most technologically impaired person can use it As it has everything clearly labeled and a detailed description of how to convert various files easily

Very good. It’s easy to use and does what it claims. The only time it may not work is if you leave the app. Even though it says that you can leave and that it’ll notify you when it’s done, it usually doesn’t covert the file. Recently, it’s been working super slow or can’t finish the conversion.

Can’t even try the app because it asks you to pay first. Wish I could give it 0 stars. This is such a malicious app model. I couldn’t even convert one file because I got prompted to commit to a free trial or pay for a subscription out right. You could have just let the users try out the app free for a week without any strings. But by forcing people to sign up first you are counting on them forgetting to cancel so you can swindle them out of their money.

Useless App. Requires an internet connection. It uploads your file to a server where it is then converted to another format. Then the app redownloads the new format in .ZIP format. All of this for almost $4 a month. You’re better off finding a free service online via your web browser.

Does exactly what it says!. This app is great and does exactly what it says with no catch! A truly great creations for anyone needing to easily and efficiently convert docs!

Won’t load and open on iPhone XR iOS 13.3.1. Having Read this app’s reviews on App Store, I had high hopes for it. One review mentioned problem with iOS 13 on iPhone 11, but I decided to Download and try the app on my iPhone XR 13.3.1 today. When I tap the icon to load and open, I am returned instantly to home screen. Won’t even load. Any news on update that will make your app compatible with my iPhone?

One “free” conversion. Hate these apps that require a monthly sub to work/test. It gave me one free file conversion, but that was it. It was quick to convert a small pdf to a txt file, but there was too much garbage to be useful, but wasn’t able to try another format without a $4/month or $10/ lifetime sub. (Which aren’t ever lifetime, bought one for another app and it lasted a little over a year till they changed their pay model).

Not a free app or free trial period. This is not a free app or free trial period. It requires you to sign up for a monthly fee and then requires you to cancel the subscription at the end of the “free” week. This is not “free”. The honest way to do this is to spell it out before wasting the users time on a download and only finding out about the signup requirement when you try to convert a document.

It Does The Job!. After struggling with all the export and import options of the programs I am using, with no success, this app was the solution. It is easy to use and does the job!

What happened?. It’s always an error now whenever I try to convert something

Won’t Work. Downloaded this because I just needed to convert one photo file on my phone, and every single time I try to select it, it tells me I’ve used up my free uses and I need to pay for a subscription, even though this is my first time using it. Not worth it. DON’T BUY!!!

Why subscribe?. Why on earth would anyone want to subscribe to an app that does something you might want to do once a year? Terrible interface too. How can I give it zero stars?

Scam posed as a simple convert app from title. Can’t do anything without a overpriced paid subscription

No power point to rtf. I bought this to convert power point slides into rtf, it says it can but they just turn out blank. Any idea how to fix this would be great.

So, So Good!. I have been using the paid version of The Document Converter for a few months and all I can say is "brilliant". This app does exactly what it is meant to, the interface is so easy and straight forward. How anyone handling, editing documents regularly from different formats can do without this sort of app is just beyond me. Yes there are big, expensive PD programs out there that are magnificent in their complexity but it you don't have the time or inclination to learn those, use The Document Converter, it has not failed me yet.

Just don’t get it. This is terrible, I just wanted to convert a photo and says I have to subscribe for conversions over 5mb. There is no file in the whole world less than 5mb. Just don’t waste your time

Miserable failure converting pdf to Word. Couldn’t take a short pdf and convert it to Word. Simply failed. Paid the 9.95 Lifetime pass but what a waste of money.

Sell out. You need to pay to convert simple .png files which is absolutely insane, atleast try putting in ads instead of charging 9.99 a month just for converting certain files.

Not a very smart all. Tried to convert an older version .xls file (one that won't open in iOS Excel or Numbers). It would only let me convert to .docx. Dur.... Who'd want to do that? Btw the .docx was corrupted. Waste of $3.

Junk. All this does is convert the pdf to an image, the text is NOT editable in any program or app. Waste of $10.
