A breath of fresh air. One of my favorite things about the radio is that it exposes you to things you would never put on. It’s a great way to find new music. Yes, being able to choose any track at any moment in time is great and amazing too, but there’s something beautifully simple about just letting the radio play. This app captures that feeling perfectly. In a sea of instant gratification I’m happy that an app like this exist. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

Great App but One Question. No issues with the app in anyway, but when I try to reset my password the link it sends my email doesn’t lead to any way to change it. Instead it sends some sort of fact page about the old tester app. Any reason for that?

Finally an update!. The fact the app hadn’t been updated in such a long time added entirely to the mystique. This thing is one of a kind, with excellent “crate-digger” curated gems and an improved user interface. So glad to see it got the much deserved facelift!

Great, but.... Okay, this is a great app and I love using it, but whenever I close the app, it automatically signs me out. I guess it could be a safety precaution, but it's slightly annoying to have to sign myself in every other time I open it. Fix this, and it's five stars for sure!

Falling in love. Okay I just told my friends all about this app, the concept, the fantastic curation! My only reason for not giving the full 5 stars is navigation/accessibility issues with the mobile layout. But the app is filled with so much, that it’s packing a lot of features. And I am geeking out so hard. As a DJ myself I appreciate all the album info, the ability to contribute, & the weird button! Great job. The annual subscription is worth it. Much love

How did I miss this?!. This app is incredible. Pick a country. Pick a decade. Be transported. The fact that it’s also a modern day human curated experience only adds to the magic and allure. Get his app and give them money! Chapeau!!

So grateful for this app. I don’t ever write reviews, but it felt necessary here. This app has helped me discover some of my favorite songs/albums/artists. You will never be in the “no new music” rut ever again! I love love love every feature in the site, and am so grateful something like this exists. :D

Fantastic but could still use some work. I am absolutely obsessed with this app and can’t get enough of it! However, I noticed a couple of glitches that make it a little annoying to use. I found that every time I open the app I have to sign in again, I also can’t replay songs that I have saved. It also would be nice to have some sort of skipping ability as I found that occasionally songs would repeat multiple times. Other than that it is such a creative and fun concept, I’ve spent hours listening!

Great but needs work. This is a wonderful app, it’s a great way to discover music, specifically obscure music from the past. If you’re looking to find pop music that was most played in those countries, this isn’t really the place. My one issue which is the same issue everyone else has, is that my tracks are declined for no reason. I submitted some really beautiful tracks which have been declined, and I can’t think of a reason why. The mp3 audio I submitted was perfect. It’s just kind of frustrating when I’m listening around on Radiooooo and I see the same 5 people that have uploaded tracks. It’s probably the employees who just upload whatever they want, meanwhile reject everyone else's. There’s gotta be a better system than that. It’s a cute idea that every song is listened to and handpicked by a human, but just because YOU didn’t like a track doesn’t mean someone else won’t. It’s very biased. Perhaps there can be a section called the “user database” where it’s just tracks submitted by the public. It can be listened to by moderators to make sure its a legit song, but take away the employee bias and just have a section where the app/website users are free to add whatever they want as long as it’s a real song. Maybe one day my track will be accepted. But for now I will continue using this site to find new music. It could use a few updates, it kind of seems like it’s still in beta mode. But nonetheless it is useable.

I never write reviews.... But this app is amazing!!! Awesome interface, wonderful concept. I can't help but keep beepbopping around from country to country because I want to hear everything this app is playing me!!

Lack of genre variety. The app is entertaining enough, but I’ve noticed especially for the US that there is a serious lack of variety with music genres. Everything from 1990s-now is alternative/electronic and typically little-known artists. The app gets really boring when all it plays are songs that hardly anyone knows from the same genre over and over. Not a good representation of the actual music the country is listening to and makes me wonder if it’s the same for all other countries as well... I’ll probably use this app once a month or so when I’m bored and that’s about it.

Developers please read. I’ve been an avid paid subscriber for years and being a World music lover I truly appreciate your curation and being able to discover interesting tracks around the globe. My biggest gripe is that I use this as my main music app at my business and it’s unfortunately unreliable. The music stops playing for very long periods of time and I have to quit and Re-open the app and it’s frustrating to have clients sit in silence while I try to fix the bug. A note to developers: I enjoy saving my fave tracks and would love to be able to create my own playlists so I can separate the genres and arrange the order of the tracks. I hope in the future we can also search for songs at the bare minimum within our own saved files. Aside from those requested improvements I have to say that I am happy you don’t accept everyone’s uploads. As a DJ myself I appreciate you guys hand picking tracks as I believe in your taste and trust the selection you’ve spent time acquiring. Thank you for keeping your standards. Rinse and repeat. A global musical time capsule. If you enjoy music this is the most amazing app ever. Trip all over the globe through different time periods and capture moods and eras. I've barely gotten into this but I know it will bring massive enjoyment for a long time. Thank you to the developers!

Lots of fun. Really cool app. It’s amazing to hear music from all over the world from so many countries, and (speaking as an American who’s heard plenty of US “oldies”) especially fun to hear all the unusual music from the US; it’s not the typical stuff you usually get from those eras.

Love this app but one gripe. I wish there was a way to choose a sub genre for different eras based on the country you are listening to music in. For example if I want to listen to 70s music from the US I would get both classic rock and disco in the same station, not the greatest.

A digital crate diggers dream app!. I love sampling and making different music using old recordings as my soundscapes. This app makes a great source for me as well as a great way to just kill the silence in my house with some good vibes.

Cancelled. I just canceled my subscription because EVERYTIME I open the app, I just get a free preview and told I need to pay. The thing is - I’ve paid for the app! But it keeps requesting I subscribe EVERY time I reopen. It really sucked when I was trying to show the app to a client and it kept skipping the songs because of this error. Sorry, but this isn’t worth it. I love some of the songs I’ve found but this chaos isn’t worth $5 per month.

Awesome but.... This is such a good idea and I’ve learned so much already! Dallon Weekes from I Don’t Know How But They Found Me (formally from The Brobecks and Panic! At the Disco) said it was his favorite app. I don’t know why this isn’t everywhere yet! Although, I’ve got one problem. It won’t let me sign in. The problem could be on my end but it’s really annoying and it makes it hard to appreciate all the great features of the app. I hope they will fix this in a future update!

Great app…update from previous review…. Would like to see the ability to search the radio by artists genres as well search in specific locations.

Awful representation of the contries. None of that music is listened from those countries. I am originally from latin america and found music that was hipster electronic, something no one has ever heard of. I tried to upload populaire, traditional music and everything was rejected for no reason. This application is selling fake information of each culture. I have visited russia, ukraine, turkey, bulgaria, spain, lebanon and i know none of those songs are heard or known by my friends living there!! What a fake! Let people upload the music ACTUALLY listened in each country. Not hipster stuff! Because is hip or unknown, i want people around the world to learn about my culture as much as i want to learn about others. I uploaded around 25 songs all rejected for not being hipster enough I guess. Do not take this music seriously! You will not be cultured into learning from different countries. I am upset to have such music be represented as latin america!!

Some Things. I think there’s a bias in the music played, and that there should be more music that is more well known in that decade and country. I also think that people should upload songs from their country, and let other listen to it. The creators or the team that moderates the app should communicate to their users more.

My Goto Streaming App. I’ve been using Radioooo for several months now. While there are certain minor limitations I’m overall very pleased with the app and content. The inability to go back is an annoyance, and the content isn’t quite as expansive as I’d like. However, the wide range of eras and styles is exceptional. I LOVE to play samples from the 20’s and 30’s while I’m working because the tunes are simple and uplifting. For the money you get a great service and I’m happy I signed up.

Issue with Subscription. First off, I am a huge fan, and have been for years!! I’m constantly sharing this app with anyone and everyone that appreciates music. Now despite my admiration, paying for a service that doesn’t recognize that I paid is a problem for me. I started my subscription yesterday, and it still states that I’m not subscribed. Also, please remove the moderator shuffle option, not a great feature when you find a song that is out of this world and it’s decided by others to listen to a song that is less than good. Lastly, add a way of contacting tech support that’s easier than leaving a complaint on the review section. I hope that this can be resolved sooner than later. Thank you.

Great app. This is so amazing it allows me to discover foreign songs and well as listen to the radio at home what an amazing idea for an app and it is executed well and the fact that you can get so much for free like being able to listen to music outside of the app and there’s no ads as well is just amazing

📱. Beautifully-designed, elegant interface, and an intriguing idea. After a couple of days the app started crashing a lot. The music selection is heavily curated to produce a certain sound and specific "nostalgic" atmosphere. Unfortunately, this seems to exclude many genres. (Haven't heard any reggaeton so far when listening to 1990s and 2000s Puerto Rico, for instance.)

Amazing app! But still could use some updating~. I am very happy and grateful for this music app, however I have a few suggestions. - Add more options than just “slow”, “fast”, and “weird”. Maybe change the word weird as well because that seems kind of biased. - Make it easier for users to upload content. I’ve had issues with this. - There should be a bigger range of genres. - Maybe go more in depth and add the option of different states or provinces and let it grow over time. Thanks for your service.

Pretty cool. I don’t really get into old music but this app has opened my eyes and I only have the free version each place I click on plays no sound problems haven’t heard the same songs love everything about this

I like it, but….. I decided to try the subscription. I had used this app a few years ago and loved it, so I went back to it. I don’t remember having to pay for it. But this app has absolutely no “remember me” feature. Every time I open the app, it fully resets to being logged out and I have to “restore purchase” to use the premium features. It’s a great idea, I think it’s super cool, but having to manually log in and restore my purchase EVERY SINGLE TIME got really annoying really quickly. I tried to find some form of customer service but found none. If this issue doesn’t get fixed soon, I don’t think I will be continuing my subscription.

Is red on or off?. I really like the idea of this app (even if I’m only using the free version) but I wish it came with instructions. For the mood setter at the top (Slow, Fast, Weird) I cant tell wether turning the button red or blue means I want it. Does red mean the fast music is in the playlist or excluded from it? Also, if I turn on both fast and weird does that mean that all the songs in the playlist have both of these and any songs with just one of them are excluded? I can also see where other people are coming from when they say they also want genre divisions. This is a unique music app which means it needs more explanation than the others. Maybe if there was a question mark I could click on that would give a short explanation near each feature that told me the proper way to use it. Until we get something like that, I’m just going to have to fiddle around and guess. Even so, there’s no other music app like it and that still makes me very excited!

I rather hear commercials….. When this app came out I’d would play it for my mom and she was amazed then time passed and wasn’t impressed anymore. Now I’m guessing from popularity or they need money they are charging for the services. Why can’t they be like other streaming apps and shove commercials up my $&&. Free with adds are always good for streaming music.

App is missing song history feature!. I use radioooo all the time, usually on my desktop using the browser version. I downloaded the app and everything’s works just as great except it is missing the song history feature that is available on the browser version. I really miss this as often I am listening in the car and don’t want to grab my phone to like songs that I enjoy. Hoping this gets added soon!

Great! One suggestion though.... Beautiful design and fun interface. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to allow users to stay logged in. The app seems to kick them off after a day. I’ve had to log in almost every time I reopen the app.

amazing, just wish i could create an account. This app is the coolest thing I’ve ever used. I just wish I could create an account to use more features. Every time I go to register it tells me my email is invalid, and when I try to login thru facebook i get another error message.

Terrific app that’s sadly been abandoned mid-development. If the developer is out there anywhere, I would love to see this app finished, complete with working user registrations and uploads, social networking integrated, etc. I absolutely love the concept, and have found it fascinating and intriguing to discover all these different styles from the past from around the world. It seems that the domain associated with the company is gone, there’s no trace of any work being done still. If you’re out there, I don’t know if you ran into greedy licensing thugs, or just could not sustain development... but this app has so much potential, please pass it on to a developer who will continue this great service!

My favorite app. I love the music, the eras, the countries, and the choices. I love connecting it to my bluetooth that looks like a little 1940s radio, and sometimes adjusting the treble and bass to make it sound like the quality of an older radio. 4 stars because it’s sometimes glitchy (and currently not opening at all and makes me panic the app shut down!).

Good but flaws. This is a great app for music lovers. The app works well without any apparent flaws. My only recommendation is to allow comments on tracks by users. If this is an attempt to create global music network this is a major flaw. Also another problem is there is absolutely no way to contact them. Kinda a turn off...

Amazing discovery app - what’s up with logging in. The ability to explore music with this app is amazing. No ads, no interruptions - love it. But i would oh-so love to use the features of having an account, and even after registering and confirming the account, my “session expires” before i can do anything. Hope this is fixable 💛

New but can only get better. Love this App. It is so fun to listen to music from all countries and eras! I can’t wait for the upload system to get more streamlined. One of the coolest apps I've used in a long time. The interface could use improvement, as could the accuracy of song information. That being said, it's pretty incredible to be able to discover pop music from Mongolia or Madagascar in the 60's with the click of a button. Also, they should segregate larger or musically diverse countries like the US into different regions (the app doesn't allow you to choose, say, Hawaiian music or Cajun music).

Great app. I love this app for the music and just seeing what the music of different countries are, Also the eras choices you can pick too, but recently the app seems more glitchy with names not coming up , islands not being available and also countries randomly to having any music in them, but other wise it is still an awesome app!

bangers. First country I clicked on was Sudan and instantly starting listening to one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. My ears started crying tears of joy and happiness. Everyone should get this app, especially school music teachers and students so that they can really learn about the beautiful music made by other cultures around the world.

Amazing but could use more features. This app is amazing and I love everything about it. I like how you can heart apps but I don’t like that you can’t see the entire list of songs you’ve liked. I also dislike that the app logs you out every time you get off the app. Otherwise, pretty amazing and cool.

Phenomenal app. I am a huge fan of this app. The layout and concept is genius. I’ve discovered many artists through this program and heard so much music that I already love. Getting weird in the 70’s all over the world makes for a great listening experience. Thank you all who contribute work and music to this app!

You guys did it!!. I’ve had this app for forever and it’s been great but the update is radicaaaalll!! I think the only thing I miss is being able to zoom in on the map to hit tinier countries! Thank you for putting in all the effort to update the app in this very trying time. What a pleasant surprise.

I haven’t loved an app this much since I first discovered a stick man game where he would fall through worlds and you had to avoid obstacles to keep him alive..yeah so I love this! The Best So Far. I awoke this morning with terror in my heart. I am a giant fan of what Radioooo offers to me and my species in general, even though I don't use it as often as I'd like to (no reason beyond human unreason). I think I am bouyed by the sense that they are there and at any moment I can bring up the app and ... be alive. The terror was this: What if the Radioooo people can't keep going? What if (gulp/sob) it all ENDS suddenly??!!? It was like a more intense 'What-if-Google-somehow-buys-out-Mozilla' feeling. A coooold feeling, as clinically anesthetizing as the lumens emitted by the fixtures that illuminate the aisles of Walmart. I shivered, I shook. I'd have cried, but what the hell good would that do?? I opened the app and as a random nation poured its past into my ears, I read the News: Radioooo is starting something new, and really cool. And tangible! I don't care what it is. I don't care what they do, as long as they keep going. I'm going to give them money, since I can't think of anything more useful to give.

A wonderful app with one caveat. A truly unique, wonderful, weird music app, like nothing else out there. An eye-opening tour of the world across the decades and a portal to a ton of great music you’d never hear otherwise. One caveat: the process of uploading your own tracks takes an absurdly long time. I shared a number of tracks many weeks ago, and there’s been no word from the developers as to approval or rejection. Considering I’m a paid subscriber it would be nice if this process was faster and more transparent. Other than that, a highly recommended download.

Great app but.... Love it. But a few questions. How do I make a Playlist? Also can’t find the ability to skip forward or back a track? Am I missing something?

Great app. I love the functions and the interesting music I’ve heard from the app. I’d really like to be able to browse my listening history because I’ve loved so many songs but didn’t get to “love” them in the app.

WOW. Just do it! It is brilliant, I’m a complete newby but it seems the algorithm or the taste of the curators is blowing my mind. I’m traveling the world and don’t even need to skip tracks, which is what you can’t do if you get the free version. But, I love the work these guys have done so much that I want to give them the $7.50 or whatever it is...yeah, screw apple and spotify And if that isn’t enough they also pay higher royalties to our pleasure givers. ❤️

Wont let me make an account or log in. I would rate this 5/5 if the registration and log in process was easier. I’ve made 3 accounts from different emails but it wont send me a confirmation email. If i try to change passwords it lets me but the appstill doesn’t let me log in.

Pure music discovery. It’s so nice to get out of the usual streaming bubble and find some curated and truly leftfield stuff from around the world! Radiooo has become part of my daily routine now where I’ll just put it on in the morning and see what happens. It’s so much fun 😆 Very highly recommended 💕

Still taking my money after cancelling subscription!!. I currently have no active subscriptions with this app and for ages now it has been taken my money. They make it very hard for you to contact the developer and get this sorted. I feel as if I’ve been scammed.

great idea. such a fun music discovery app. still unclear whether the red or blue buttons mean on vs off and also wish the music would not change instantly with every little exploration. would be great to dial in where you want to go and the settings you want and then commit/play.

I am obsessed. This app has let me grow closer to my parents with our shared love of music from the era of their life. Thank you for something we’re all looking for these days: a genuine human experience.

Great app but.... I love everything about this app, but every time I leave it running in the background, the track stops playing. The devs wrote that they fixed it in their newest update but it still stops what I’m listening to and reverts it to 1970s music from England. Please fix this, other wise great.

Must Have for Music Explorers. genius and brilliant idea - is the app a little janky? Yes, it’s a little janky, but you still need this app.

what’s happening?. the app was great and then went to paid members only. currently, nothing but a stream of random songs with no interface. i loved this app but what’s happening? very disappointing :( bring it back!

interesting, but costly.. i love finding vintage and underground music, this app is definitely amazing for finding new songs. however, it’s too pricey. i’d give it 5 stars if we could actually play out liked songs. ironic how we have to pay for the music that the devs didn’t even discover themselves..

Great (if buggy) app. Radiooooo is GREAT for music—my favourite music app. However, this app is due for a little spring clean—there are quite a few bugs (can not register or log in, music will sometimes abruptly stop playing, etc). It’s still worth a download! I hope the folks at radiooooo give their great service a tune up soon.

Great app when it works. Such a great idea for an app! When you can’t think of what you want to listen to, pick a country a decade and a mood and boom, you’re transferred to a musical lad you’ve never been. Having said this, the app doesn’t work. Can’t login, can’t play music. This is a recent development mind you..... SO PLEASE FIX!!!!!!

Kid friendly. Could a kid friendly version be made available? Went to share it with my students (great for music, mental health and geography) but then saw fornication island in Island Mode.

Needs an update!!!. I got this app on my other electronics and can I just say.... PLEASE LET ME DOWNLOAD SOME MUSIC TO PLAY OFFLINE. I need playlists!!! How about some interaction with the other listeners and curators? It’d be so dope to have playlists for moods that I can edit. PLEASE update!!!!!!!

No music from any country or decade. I’ve used this app for two days. It worked great the first day. Now it’s saying there is no music from and country in and decade. This is rather frustrating. I love the concept of this app and when it works it’s great.

Great app but.... Ratiooooo is overall an amazing app, but every time I close out of the app I get signed out and none of my likes save!!

Worst app. Love the idea behind Radiooooooooooo, but the app and their website are so faulty and glitchy. I can never log in on either, and when I am logged in, it doesn’t save my likes or it just doesn’t respond to my tapping my screen to click something. Feel like it’s gonna make me turn prematurely gray trying to use this app.

Goodness. Super Joints International!!! An amazing Idea and decent execution. Just wish it was a little more thorough as some countries repeat the same one or two songs. Needs more up loaders I'd guess.

It’d be perfect (5 Stars) if it worked!. This app is amazing when it works. Lately, it only plays 1-2 songs, then crashes (“oops! the track lost its way” is the message). Pretty annoying. Please fix.

Fantastic. Amazing app, love the features and that I can find truly unique music I’d never find anywhere else. Only issue is that the app is completely broken on iOS 13.6.1 and won’t load past the logo screen what-so-ever. Fix that and I’ll fix my rating :)))

A couple requests: - There's a bug where it shows the "what's new" screen everytime I open it. - It doesn't keep me logged in (facebook login) -I would love to be able to skip songs more easily, it doesn't seem to use the system's interface for "next song".

Just the right weird. So much better than any music app-generated playlist. Radiooooo makes quarantine days more spicy, more weird, more fun.

Great app!. Great app it’s not like other steaming platforms it’s different and has great music on it.

Confusing interface. The app art is beautiful but my issues with it are mainly the interface. I can’t actually tell if I’m picking slow, weird, fast or a combination of two categories.

South korea. I was trying to see what japan was playing in the 90’s when i saw korea, and i noticed sout korea was not clickable, reason?

The thing I always wanted.... 60’s Italian Pop? Groovy Moroccan from the 70’s? Where should I go next? India? I am overwhelmed with good music. This is life changing.

So fun. Such a fun app! I'm obsessed and in love. Perfect for music lovers and really easy to use. Love the taxi option to travel around. I keep finding great music around the world from different eras 👌💯💯💯

TLDR; Brazil of the 60s. And the African countries on the west and east coasts (and south of the Muslim countries) has the best music imho. What’s wrong with the map now? Can’t navigate

login bug still present. Please fix the login bug! ☹️I love this app and want to save liked tracks but it’s not saving the songs I heart, each time I like a song it prompts me to login again. Very frustrating for an app with so much promise 😩 Otherwise I love this app, which doesn’t reflect my 3 stars. It’s cuz da bug. 🦗

Great thing! One nit pick. I love this. But it appears that users are the ones who populate the music selections. Still great, but they’re not very rigorous identifying the country of origin. So Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney end up in the UK, etc.

Almost perfect!. Everything you could want or love in an app. A few glitches are the only thing that hold me back from 5⭐️. I have to re-login every time, and the app doesn’t seem to save my likes tracks.

No searcy bar. Wonderful concept and execution, but there needs a to be a way to look up artists! Songs! Other credits you guys have. Idk how long a database takes to build and function something like that, but get on it! Thanks

Great app but make it stop!. As long as I am logged into my account the music keeps starting and there is no discernible way to make it stop. It pauses and then restarts randomly when I’m out of the app. If I log out it stops. Such a great idea but continually plagued by bad technical execution. Please hire a new developer!

Love this app but it keeps crashing. I found this app a few years ago on the web and I LOVED it. It’s such a great idea! However, I just got the app on my phone and it only stays open for around thirty seconds before it crashes

Love it. This app is amazing, I've been searching for an app like this for a while! The log in bug is still present though, and there's a new one too. Now my iPhone haptics stop working when I use this app, it hasn't happened with any other app.

Needs a patch. It’s a lot of fun and it looks great but I can’t log in. The app says they fixed this issue before I even downloaded it but is still broken.

Absolute garbage. Nothing works right. I click on a country and it’s 50/50 that it actually starts playing music from that country. Even when it does play, it’s the same song repeating over and over again

Amazing app. this is a fantastic app! i’ve known about it for 15 minutes and i already love it to death. there are some obvious fixes, but my love for the app is overwhelming!!!! amazing work.

Register/login bug fix. Love the music selection. But I want to be able to save/like the songs played. It says i have to log in, but I tried making an account and it won’t let me... I tried searching via Google to find a solution but nothing! Also wasn’t sure who to contact. Really want to love this app!

Great. It plays more unground stuff which I like personally. If it played the “pop” ish side of each country I would dislike it. “Hipster” sure but it’s all good music too me

i’m in love with this app. today is my birthday and i bought a subscription. completely worth it. i’ve never had a streaming service like this one, with all of my favorite types of music. but seriously. it’s easy to use, full of nostalgia, and if the app itself was a human being i think i’d show up on its doorstep with flowers every morning.

Won’t let me register. I’ve tried to register so I can keep track of the songs I love but it just gives me an error message :-( otherwise I LOVE IT please help!

Partially works. I open up the app, i am greeted with a song from a random country, then out of nowhere, a white screen pops up and gives a new song, then white screen pops up again and i cant see anything anymore... please fix

Issues???. I noticed after revisiting this app for the first time in a while that like 1/3 of the songs just don't load.

I’ll pay money! To get this app working!!. I miss this app. It used to work flawlessly. I’m guessing it didn’t gain traction and he been neglected. Two years since the last update. Sincerely, I'll promote, pay, do what needs to be done to get this project back on its feet! I miss it.
