Locks up. When looking at tickets or games trying to use the back button, the App locks up and then reverts back to home screen

Needs total overhaul. This app should be everything that every other state lottery app is. Ours of course because we are Connecticut is Slow, Locks Up, Doesn’t display amount won. I use primarily for watching Keno games - it’s just so painful I go to the Safari page on my phone to look at results. Get with it CT Lottery...

Instant Scratch off Tickets. If you are lucky enough to win ANY amount on these tickets, it’s a HUGE SECRET after scanning them; it tells you to go back to a dealer, and have him play Peek-a-Boo with your ticket, and then you find out how much you won? Why does this state run in reverse, when other states give you the amount right then????? When it’s time to turn the clocks ahead; CT. should turn theirs ahead 5 years! Jim Novak

Scan function no longer works. This used to be a great app-I used the scan function all the time to check my tickets. After the last update I just get a message now that says "device is not registered" when I open Scan Tickets. This app is pretty much worthless without the scan feature. If it will not be fixed I will no longer be using this app.

This app doesn’t work. I downloaded this app but when I click on it, it opens then closes. It’s been happening for months now and nobody has fixed it yet. So it’s time for a different app

Simple and easy to use!. So much easier to scan tickets into my account than typing by hand. Love it!

Has not worked in 2 weeks for me. Not sure why but this app hasn’t worked in a while. My friend has the same problem. I uninstalled it and reinstalled… did not help

Freezing. Caution everyone. This app will work for a while and then freeze. It could work one time and not the next. Deleting and reinstalling does not fix the issue. Seems it needs a great deal of technical help.

App isn’t working anymore…. I used to be able to scan my tickets as well as see what the winning lottery numbers were and now I open the app and it’s just a blank screen…please help!

App not working. I went to the link provided in the app store and it lead me to page not found. So I could not report the problem This needs to be fixed.

Rework. I like how you can get winning number and scan tickets, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done. For one, when you scan tickets, it should tell you how much you won. Every other state that has an app like this let’s you scan and tell you the price. That’s the biggest thing. Next, there are too many steps to get to one thing. When you hit scan, you should just go right to scan. A redesign wouldn’t hurt.

Desperately needs a update. I used to use this app for scanning my tickets but now all the app does is crash when I open it. It’s become unusable and I since deleted it. I’ll come back when it gets updated

App no longer works. When I first got this app it works great all my lotto tickets scanned so I at least knew if I had to throw them out or bring them to the gas station to cash in, now every time I open the app it closes immediately that’s been happening for months now

Scanning tickets yields useless results. Tickets scanned (even those established to have no winning number combos, which should result in a “not a winner” message) all result in “Bring ticket to retailer” message. If the QR scanner doesn’t work, the app is useless.

App Not Working, Poor Customer Service. App continues to give error when trying scan a ticket. And my password expired. No why to reset password in the app. Emailed customer service… never responded. Called customer service and they couldn’t find my account. I’m done!!

Rarely works. This could be a great app, but it rarely works properly. Very slow to load, latest message no host found. Sometimes the only way the app will work is to delete and reinstall. Please fix

App lacks a lot of simple UX. Navigation is cumbersome. Simple things like being able to manage entries would go along way. For instance if you no longer have a ticket and want to delete an entry.

App has crashed. Right now it appears that the app has crashed. It opens when you click on it, but the pages is blank. No options or information shows up.

SCAN ISNT BROKEN. If you go on the home screen if he app, and go to scan tickets. It works through there!

Needs fixing. To slow and it should also let you know how much you’ve won. Instead of just saying winner. It’s been several weeks now and this isn’t being fixed why?

Doesn’t work!. This app used to be great. Always able to scan and get results quickly . Over the past few weeks something changed. When I open the app half the time I get a blank screen…but would be able to tap on the home button at the bottom and it would bring me to the menu.. now it doesn’t even do that - just get a white screen with home button at the bottom and the lotto logo T the top . Big fat thumbs down!

Doesn’t work. Hasn’t worked in awhile, downloaded recently to see if maybe you fixed past issues but now app won’t even open.

This app needs to update. Sometimes it will say it’s a winner and it’s really not. It’s slow. Seems a little outdated. When I use my GA lottery app it actually tells me how much I won and it’s always correct. Please fix bugs and update this app!

Get what I need. Unbelievable, all the nasty reviews for something that’s not vital, like utilities or food. That’s why I’m adding a review. I like this app. It gives me most of the basic info I need when I’m not sitting at a computer. The scanning option was always a huge plus. When the amount won was added, that did make it even better. What I like most is that this access to info exists without having to create an account and add a bunch of personal information. If I buy scratch tickets from MA, I have to guess correctly that I won and how much because the app won’t show you anything unless you’re registered with an SSN. I don’t need money added to or taken from an account. I just need to know if it’s worth the drive back up there. For this app, I had a technical issue this morning where it would shut off after clicking on it. I deleted and reinstalled and it’s working again. No big deal…except for wading thru people’s nasty, desperate comments. Thanks for making this app available.

iOS crash. App is either blocked from my phone or there is an issue with iOS devices. Keeps crashing.

One huge problem that could be fixed. ONE HUGE PROBLEM WITH THIS APP IS WHEN YOU SCAN YOUR TICKETS IT ONLY TELLS YOU IF ITS A LOSSING TICKET OR WINNING TICKET ...IF ITS A WINNING TICKET IT SOULD TELL YOU THE AMOUNT OF THE WINNINGS ...IF FOR ONCE THEY WOULD ACTUALLY ACCOMMODATE THE HUNDREDS OF SAME COMPLAINTS ANOUT THE SAME ISSUE . THIS APP WOULD BE GREAT AND USED BY MILLIONS WHICH WOULD ALLOW THEM TO SELL MORE AD SPACE AND MAKE MORE MONEY!!! But they better act quickly because there is a start up app that is about have the scan technology with winning amounts for a number of states I just read in tech mag ... so let’s see ct lotto !!! Let fire up the workers and get them to fix this one key issue with your app!!!!!!!! Right now your a chunk of coal , if you can add that feature you will go from coal to a Diamond !!!!!

Freezes doesn’t open. I have had to remove this app many times and reinstall it. At times when you open the app it freezes up and doesn’t show the home page

Loads wrong. I don’t know what or who screwed up this app. It doesn’t load the way it used to and I can’t scan the tickets. I get an error message.

Crashing. The app keeps crashing after the latest update. I open it and then it closes right away. There’s nothing new on my phone besides the new iOS update and that didn’t affect it at all. Please fix asap

Poorly designed. Slow, awkward user interface, takes the simple and makes difficult. For example, When you hit “scan”, why not scan? why do you have to go to another page and then figure out that you have to scroll down to the button that says “scan now”?

App is ok. I like that your able to see how much you won. I do wish we was able to see more than what’s ur showing for games .. and sometimes the app works and sometimes it doesn’t , where I have to delete and reinstall

Scanning tickets. I mainly use this app to scan tickets but when all it’s going to say for winners and losers is to bring to a retailer what’s the point of letting me scan them anymore.

FIX THE APP. CT Lottery makes a ridiculous amount of money every year and you can’t put some of that into the budget to fix the app so it works as it should?!

App will not load. Least at least once a day sometimes twice the lottery app will not open and the screen remains with no information on it and most of the time I just delete it and then reload it from the App Store and most of the time it’ll work but not always terrible terrible quality on this app

Needs work. This app needs a lot of work. First thing you should see on the home screen is the current jackpots. Take a look at Rhode Island’s app. Way better and more user-friendly.

Works Great. Tells you if your ticket won or not and says how much you’ve won too

Use To Work!!. I loved the convenience of the app! Then something happened! It will work for a while, it does show you the amount if you won. Now, I’ll open it sometimes and get a blank screen! Once that happens you have to delete the app and download it all over again! That is a pain! Pros: still shows amount if won, don’t have to go to the store to check tickets. Cons: app glitches to blank screen and have to delete and download all over again! Please fix this bug!

DON’T TRUST THIS APP!!!. I read about this app on the CT Lottery website and decided to download it to my phone. I had just scanned two winning tickets at a local retailer earlier that day, but the app said the tickets weren’t winners. I’d urge anyone against trusting this app to scan your tickets. Check your numbers online or go to a lotto retailer.

Works but not good. Satisfies the purpose but pretty terrible design. Difficult to navigate and sometimes stops working so I have to delete and redownload.

Better way to scan. It should be that when you hit scan ticket, it should go right to a scanner right away. Too many clicks to get to the scanner. It should tell you how much you won.

Too slow. We need to get the winning numbers sooner it take too long right now all other states are way faster than that and we need a link to watch the drawings live.

Never loads anymore. Used to work perfectly now i have to keep uninstalling and installing to get it to work.

Doesn't tell you if you won. You can scan any ticket winner or loser it will tell you the same thing "take ticket to retailer " application is junk to me.

Since iOS 11.3 app just crashes. App used to be great. The scan option was the most useful. Since updating to iOS 11.3 the app crashes/closes every time I open.

Version 1.8.0 not thoroughly tested. Version 1.8.0, which was supposed to be a bug fix release, crashes on startup on iOS 16.4.1.

Access denied. App says access denied as soon as opening. Deleted and redownloaded, still access denied because it’s tied to IP Address. What the heck.

typical of anything ct does. loads but doesn't work the scanner won't load and all you see is "error on page" even tried a reboot of my phone, this isn't rocket science but looks like you need a rocket scientist to make it work

Terrible app- doesn't work.. Just downloaded app today because I heard you can use it to check tickets. Tried using it on iPhone 6Plus, and app opens to a blank screen with ct lottery balls up top. It allows me to access main menu but the buttons don't work. I have closed all apps and restarted my phone but it still doesn't work. Waste of time.

Scan function doesn’t show cross hairs. Hard to find sweet spot to scan. Questionable accuracy.

It’s OK. The reason I downloaded this app is to be able to scan tickets without going to retailer. Unfortunately it doesn’t always work. Half of the time it work and half of the time it doesn’t work. When it doesn’t work, it keeps saying “Take ticket to retailer”.

Download was easy enough. PLEASE NOTE: The CT Lottery's gaming system is "off-line" between the approximate hours of 11pm - 6am. During that time, scanning via CT Lottery Mobile App (or in-store Lottery Ticket Checkers) is not available.

You guys are kidding with this app, right?. This app is not useful and is the result of a combination of poor effort and 0 QA. The scanner flat-out doesn't work. Either at least try to put together a coherent app, or pull it from the app store entirely, because this is pitiful.

2 problems. 1. Scan ticket results showed led be more pronounced so you can see them better. 2. Scan results just stopped working a few days ago..it scans the ticket then just says "scan another ticket"

Hunk of Junk!!. I downloaded this app to scan my tickets. Each one said to visit a retailer. I don't need an app to just tell me that on each and every ticket. What a snore.
