Used to be good, not it’s really bad.. This used to be a good app up until a couple of days ago when they changed it and now you have to pay to convert any type of file basically... which was the main point of the app. I uninstalled it, of course. Do yourself a favor and don’t install it.

Names all mobi files Safari. Converts files, good job, all the files showing up in Kindle named Safari is a pain. They are named correctly before the conversion, even show correct after but when sent to Kindle, they are always Safari. No way to rename them. 👎👎👎👎 Quick response from developer. Might be a Kindle problem renaming the file. Will look into this. Thank you for the quick response.

Works. Worked great converting Great Gatsby from ePub to mobi and downloading to kindle oasis. Fast turn around. Need to disable VPN. EPub to amz3 file rejected by kindle.

Highly recommend. I was tirelessly looking for a software or app that can easily convert my PDF file to EPUB but I continuously failed to find anything that worked. I even purchased a $70 software but my PDF photos didn’t covert. It was too glitchy. It wasn’t until I downloaded this app that I got the results I was hoping wishing and praying for. It was seamless and fast too. Definitely recommend. Don’t sleep on this app!

Doesn’t work. I just downloaded this app onto my iPad because it states it will convert kindle to pdf so I can move it to another app. When I open it up and click on any “obtain” request it takes me to the developer question/help website. I even attempted to follow up with registering on that site and now states I have no authorization. Sooooo what does this FREE APP DO???

Deleted immediately. Went to test a conversion from text to mobi. Immediately went to a pay wall. Nope not going to support this behavior nor should anyone else. Boycott this behavior from all app producers.

Lame.. When I hit share, this app doesn’t come up as an option to share to. Waste of time.

Doesn’t work. Tried converting 3 (2 mobi and 1 ePub) files to kindle format and none of them worked. Just gave a vague error message. Really regret buying this app

Upgrading Phones. This handy app has helped me when I upgraded the phone. Nowmy school packets a packets are easily searchable and makes reading much more pleasurable. Pleas excuse typos, the text isn’t showing on the screen so I’m “ghost-writting”.. anyway, that’s how great this app is, I had to submit this review so others could be encouraged to download the app. Why not a 6, I don’t like subscription services. But I would definitely pay a one-time fee.

Worthless. Fails to convert ePub to Mobi. On the first file I tried to convert, it failed. It doesn’t say why or what to try to fix the problem. This is a worthless program. I feel completely ripped off.

An app is not free if you have to pay to use it. An “optional” subscription is not optional if the app does nothing without a subscription. Deleted faster than it was downloaded.

SCAM. STAY AWAY. This app is basically a bait and switch scam. I bought the original version and paid for it, and it was working fine. Then Apple introduced subscriptions, and the developer became greedy and turned off all features that I already paid for and wants me to pay monthly subscriptions to enable the same features that were working before. Save your storage space and money, and use a free online ebook converter.

NOT FREE. Doesn’t work. It looks like it’ll work, and you get everything ready, then click convert and it wants you to pay.

Ok. Not bad but just use send to Kindle app its free and accomplishes the same thing

Terrific app, worth the price!. This is a great app that does what it promises and is worth the Lifetime Pass fee I paid ($9.99 at the time). Frequent updates and bug squashing keep it working well. Don’t listen to the cheapskate one-star reviewers, who are not reviewing the app or its functions but only their own poor attitudes. This app delivers big! Thanks!

Horrible app that doesn’t work! Scammers!!!!!. You have to pay for this app first, after which time you will discover that it does NOT work whatsoever! What a ripoff! iTunes needs to shut down these horrible “developers” immediately! Save your money! Please!!!!! 😡

Free. If I could give zero stars I would. I can’t try out the app because you have to pay inside the app to actually use anything. Nothing in the app is free beyond the free download to get it on your device. Luckily it’s also free to delete lol

Hero app turns into Rip-off app. I had purchased full app via in app purchase and after few months app accumulated a lot of converted and non converted ebooks. As app do not offer cache offloading. So I uninstalled and again installed. The clean new install did not allow purchase restore and app did not recognised my previous purchase. So as the app did not allow any kind of conversion I had to click purchase button with the understanding that my previous purchase will be recognised as in all good apps on App Store. It did not. It charged my 9+$ again. I thinks apple should look to this problem as this is a clean rip off right under their nose. Very disappointed.... Beware of this app and developer.

Just doesn’t work.. Gets stuck at each stage of upload/convert/download. I’ve now tried to convert 5 different ePub files and it hasn’t completed a single one. Free websites do this faster and better.

Love this app!!!. Fast and easy to convert pdf to ebooks for multiple readers. I use ePub and read on iBooks. It’s definitely worth getting this app!!!

When it works. I love this app when it works! But it is most frustrating that 7/10 tries it can’t even complete the upload of the files from iCloud.

Does Not Work. App is stuck on uploading for hours... I have a gig Fios connection. The upload should take less than 1 second.

Doesn’t work.. Converting ePub to mobi. Pick file. Choose file conversion type. Tap convert, and 5 minutes later it’s still uploading. Or says it is. This isn’t a 4K movie. Just a book. Too many conversion apps, programs, and stuff out there to wait for this one to work. Deleted. And $4 a month, A MONTH, is way too expensive. $10 lifetime option MIGHT be worth it, if it worked. I’ll never know.

Love It!. Works great!!! Is there a way to purchase the lifetime pass after the trial? I saw that option before selecting the free trial but only seeing the monthly subscription now.

I can read!. For weeks I have been trying to complete some CEUs online but could not seem to understand or retain what I was reading very well my iPad was bothering my eyes. I found this app and converted online reading to pdf and then this app and to my kindle in minutes. Eye strain gone! I could finally relax enough to read comfortably and retain More what I was reading. Thank you! Worth every penny!

Have to pay. I have a lot of epubs. I recently got a kindle and wanted to convert to mobi format. You have to pay in order to do that. So I deleted app.

Pay First Error Second. As with a bunch of apps, I had to pay first, then on my first conversion... error and message it couldn’t convert. Typical. Won’t try again. Won’t buy again. App creators like this need to allow for a one-time trial to see how the app works and if it works before requesting payment

This app doesn’t convert ePub to mobi. I tried over a dozen times from multiple devices to convert an ePub file to mobi. It never worked. The app doesn’t convert the files itself, instead it uploads your files to a server on the internet to do the conversion. It freezes during upload phase most of the time, if not it freezes during the conversion. Save your time and look elsewhere.

This app charged me even though I canceled it. I canceled the trial app and was charged a renewal again, I canceled the renewal as soon it was renewed. Payment was saying pending but eventually went through, this app is garbage to Ben keep a whole month. Please return me my money!

Works half the time. This really is not a good app. It needs to upload everything to the company server, which takes forever to process. Half the time it just stalls and crashes. Really not worth the service. I would gladly pay for an app that did this offline, but this is not the app. Also, their servers are awful, so files over a certain size will not work 10-15Mb max, so if you need to work with larger PDFs, this will not work and you will be wasting your time watching the upload meter stall and crash if you leave app. But the company is deceptive in not telling you that.

Robbers. Asks if you want to sign up for a monthly trial and then charges you immediately when you sign up for it.

5mb cap!?!. Can’t do anything over 5mb without paying. Completely worthless. Limit me to one book a day/week or whatever. I get it. But I can even try this out once without having to get going with a free trial I hopefully remember to cancel a week later.

Works great!. This app works great! :) We were able to convert all of our favorite EPUB books from The Mises Institute into MOBI format so they could be used in the Kindle app! :) The only 2 very minor inconveniences that we encountered are: (1) uploading the original file takes longer than a normal upload should take, and the progress circle never moves during the process so you don’t know how much uploading time is left. (2) The MOBI file doesn’t have the advanced features of a Kindle book (such as zooming out to see a preview of all the pages), but this is to be expected since that is a proprietary Kindle feature. Besides those 2 minor inconveniences, everything works fantastic with this app! 5 stars!

Cut document into 4 parts. This app converted my document into 4 parts and put the back together randomly

Breaks up text. I gave it a url that contains straight forward text to convert to epub. It broke up lines of the text. This alone is a deal killer. If it can’t get simple text right I suspect other, worse problems.

Horribly misleading app. Great that it’s free to download. They then tell you you have to pay to use the thing. I’d give it a 0 if I could. Useless.

No Kindle to Apple Books. Got this recommendation for Kindle to Apple Books conversion. Doesn’t even list Kindle as an input option. A search for “Kindle” in the FAQ comes up with zero results. Next.

Doesn’t work.. On the latest version of iOS 12 and this app does nothing when I select a file. It just stays at the first screen.. useless.

Failed to upload every time. Every time I attempted to convert a kindle file to pdf it froze about half way through the upload and never completed. Beware I paid for the pro version to do larger files only to find out it does not work.

didn't work. tried two epub to pdf conversions. first one uploaded, then converted for about four hours until I cancelled. the second one uploaded then converted for two hours, then gave an error message. I cancelled my trial period same day.

A few issues. It got stuck on the upload at first File wasn't downloaded correctly at first (corrupted and too small) Not local program, it sends file -which might be private- to an unknown server and redownloads it. A real issue if you need to convert offline and are worried about privacy Certain file types require a subscription but there's a week long free trial It got the job done in the end after a bit of hassle. Good for what it is.

Don’t download. Absolute crap app. Sure it’s free but you have to pay to convert anything to a pdf. And based on previous reviews it doesn’t even work. Disappointing.

Saves time and easy. My grandmother gave me over 900 Ebooks on her kindle but I can’t read kindles well due to low vision. This app allows me to store the files in my iCloud and convert the files to read on my iPad as I go. No need tone o try scroll through on the computer screen.

Converted ePub to mobi. I used this app to convert an ePub file to kindle mobi format. It worked and I was able to email the mobi file to my kindle device. I am very happy because this app means I don't have to drag my laptop out of the cupboard to do conversions.

Works exactly as expected. Stuck in a hotel with only and iPhone and a Kindle, this app saved me and let me convert a bunch of ePub files from Dropbox and email them to my Kindle. A batch convert feature would be nice as it was a bit tedious to convert multiple books.

So handy.. I use this a lot, mostly for converting books to ePub. When I download a document from the web, usually DRM free books, it's so easy to convert without having to go through a third party. It's easy, it works and it performs a function I need. It does not, of course, convert DRM protected documents, but I wouldn't expect it to.

Misleading. I just want to be able to access my books on iBooks in my kindle as well. This app does not let you do this. Disappointing; as I feel the wording in this app's description implies something it cannot do. Waste of $.

SCAM. Do not buy this app. I tried it, it did not work after trying the premium account so I cancelled it. A few months later I realized they had been charging me twice a month for two separate premium access. STAY AWAY

Works Great!. I haven't had this app for long, but haven't had any trouble converting my books so that I can read them using iBooks. I love how easy it is to use! I would definitely recommend it.

Normally converter apps poop out. BUT this one didn’t! Just don’t expect the PDF to other format conversions to go smoothly. This is a problem that exists with all converter software because of the nature of PDFs. It should work perfectly fine for ebook formats and txt files and the sort (where the source code is easily translatable)

Does not work. Waited ten minutes for it to upload a 1.9mb epub. Continued to say “uploading”, despite a message at the bottom saying it shouldn’t take long. I can’t think of any app with a free trial that I’ve unsubscribed faster from. This is complete garbage.

Converts from PDF to MOBI, but garbles title shown in Kindle. I bought this app to convert PDFs to MOBI format for Kindle. It appears to upload the original file, convert, and then download the converted file. It does not allow you to change the file name. It does ask for title and author, but after opening the file in the Kindle app, the title was gibberish and author unknown.

Amazing!. This app works very well. I've been converting pdf files to epub. It uploads them to their engine and downloads the converted file. Epub files are about 1/10 the size of pdf files and the conversion is quite good. Since they're smaller they also load faster when reading them. I like it, try it for your self. Just use the open in another app function on a document and select ebook convert.

Bad. They charge for something that’s free elsewhere, not worth it.

Perfect. This app is perfect for what I've been trying to do, convert .docx files into ePub files. The conversions have been nearly perfect. I will say that you have very little opportunity to customize the file, but if all you want to do is make a simple basic conversion, you can't go wrong with this app.

Yes!. I have been looking for something to help me convert my files and this is exactly what it does. WOO-HOO!! No problems at all! I do not usually write reviews but pop ups kept asking me to write a review. So that is the only annoying thing. Other than that it does exactly what it says it does!

Does what it says on the tin. Picked up a Paperwhite a few months ago, therefore needed to convert a library of ePubs to Kindle-accepted files. This app can import from my Dropbox and export via email to my Kindle, all without touching a PC. Very happy! Haven't tested any features outside those listed above, but I have to imagine they work at least as well as the ones I have tried.

Awesome app. The app worked great, I was amazed. Did exactly what I needed. The only negative was that the converting took a long time on one of the 4 files I converted and I almost thought that it wasn't working, but it did eventually finish converting. I would suggest either an accurate percentage of how much is done or a timer that shows how much time is remaining.

Took a bit to figure out, but now works perfect. Four stars because this took me a bit to figure out how to do. The description says you can convert documents directly from email, but to my knowledge you cannot. I finally figured out a work around- by using drop box. If I save the item to drop box, then have drop box create a link and copy that, I can paste the link and quickly convert the file in this app. It's a breeze now and all my conversions have taken 15 seconds or less.

Nice App. I have a similar app on my computer, and I have to save it to dropbox. Then I have to go onto my iPad and download the file from dropbox to converted. This app saves me time and does the same thing, but directly on the iPhone. I've only converted a few files and it worked flawlessly.

Some have complained about this app not working for some other formats, but for PDFs this app is a steal! And it converts FAST and is VERY EASY to use. No more resizing when I turn or read a page😅. "Extremely Disappointed,False Advertisement!". I just purchased a Kindle and was hoping that this app could make my PDFs into Amazon's Mobi,which is easier to read. Unfortunately it did not work. The PDF are not complete once converted. Missing sentence, Mixed Wording among others. I went back to the regular PDF. I just lost money and time on this app. I hope that they can fix this with an update as there are not many options for this type of conversion on the app store. They should have a sample app, so people can try before buying. At least make it work with an update, Please.

Worried Skeptic Turned Approving Fan!. I was concerned about "yet another poor app purchase" after seeing the critics but I noticed that some of the complaints sound like they are issues outside the app and not the app itself and I was correct. This app does it's job and after trying both PC programs I am very well pleased. Unlike others, the pdfs I have converted to use on my iPad or iPhone have all the options such as highlighting, notes and bookmarking! Thrilled it works and I'd buy it all over again!

Booo ebook. I am sad to say, as a previous purchaser of this app, they are now moving to a monthly subscription. DO NOT UPGRADE!

Kindle conversion issue. PDF to kindle conversion keeps PDF pagination and page numbers instead of converting to a proper kindle page flow. Very clunky. File share icon (square with up arrow) is also disabled in the kindle files which is not good. Did workaround by using pages to create an iBook file to get the proper page flow and then used this app to convert the iBook to kindle for a proper page flow, but the share icon was still disabled making it more labor intensive then it should be to send the resulting kindle app to kindle.

GREAT App for converting ebooks!. This app is fantastic at converting ebooks to the format of your favorite E-reader! I have been using it to convert .epub books to a Kindle format. Open the ebook your downloading in the Convert app and choose the new format. Once the App has completed the process, use the 'open in' link to open the book in Kindle or other reader app.

Conversion from to iBooks ok for the most part. The conversion from PDF to iBooks gets the job done. The ePub file text is readable and the images are included near the text. One improvement would be to enable manual editing of the files to include a cover image, move pictures and edit text. Overall it's a good utility.

Mr. Just bought that software few days ago. I was trying to convert one of the kindle books to print few pages. The whole book was converted in the matter of seconds. The only problem is that the book was converted into blank pages... I emailed the company with questions but it is third day and haven't gotten any answer from the customer support. I gave this software 1 star but I would give none if I could for obvious reasons. If you are trying to convert kindle books this software won't do the job.

Does what it says it does. Solid. I have just used this to convert a 225 page book that I've written to both E reader and Kindle. The product worked very well, and I would just give a user a few tips first. The issue of table of contents coming off of a word document, has its own set of issues, unrelated to this product. I did not use a TOC in word, relying on formatting of chapter titles as headings. That seemed to work, but it took me a number of tries to get it correct because of hidden formatting in the document. But once that's cleared up, The product did a real good job of converting and I'm now distributing it on both platforms. There are distinct differences in showing e-readers on various platforms. So you need to do some quality control checking once you have your product converted. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone that wants to take the time to use it.

Great App. I had originally gave this App a bad rating, but I discovered the problem was not with the App but with the file. I have converted four files since that worked with no problems. I've converted pdf and word files to ePub and mobi. Update: Since writing the above, I have successfully converted over 30 files. I especially appreciate being able to convert pdf files to my old Kindle reader so that I can listen to the books. Update: I am still very pleased with the App. The only failures have been the fault of the files, not the App. Update: After using this App for over a year and am still well pleased with it.

No more digging out of the computer, downloading e-books, converting the e-books, waiting while they are uploaded to Dropbox, etc. I'm especially glad that it converts azw3 and lit, as I couldn't find an e-book reader for the iPad for them. Two things to remember, must have an Internet connection, and if the file type doesn't convert, it may be the actual file that's corrupt. Had a problem with a couple of rtf files, but have converted 20 other rtf files with no trouble. The only file type I have not been able to convert is doc, docx converts fine. Do wish it would flip to landscape mode on the iPad.
