Incredible fun. All of my favorite elements. Very Tron-like in style. Music is excellent. Fast paced without feeling forced. No pay wall to hit as this is a game without ads or igp. As games should be.

AMAZING. If I could rate any amount of stars well I would go for 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 that is how much of a great game this is I did not waste my money at all

Heavily satisfying. This game is very enjoyable, I’ll start off with that. It takes a while to get used to the minor puzzle elements but the directional teleporters are a fantastic idea. The upgrades are rewarding but come very rarely compared to the early game. Maybe bring it down to 4 points necessary for them? It’s just nitpicking on a fun and fairly long experience.

Another instant winner by Radiangames. I have all games for iOS by Radiangames and they are all worth the price. This is one developer who knows twin-stick shooters (as well as a few excellent block puzzlers). You might think 'How hard can it be?' but you'd be surprised how much the level of fun can vary within this genre. The challenge-to-fun ratio is so well balanced because they're not trying to get you to buy anything within the game. The pacing for XP gain and upgrades is perfect, the gameplay is genuinely fun and just plain satisfying, and the addition of RPG elements in general is a great touch. Another thing I love about this game is the highly customizable graphics options so it can look great on my iPad 3 and still run smooth on my iPhone 4. I also appreciate how the interface doesn't get in the way of the gameplay. Every detail is well thought out and extremely well executed. The price is fair and even the rating request is infrequent and unobtrusive. This is one of my favorite developers for iOS and I really wish more of them would follow Radiangames' example. You just can't overstate the positive qualities of the developer or their titles.

Come for the explosions stay for the music. Having played almost every featured/top game on iOS I don't often leave reviews unless I think an app is really something special. Inferno 2 seems to deliver on all levels. The graphics a sharp and I love the neon glow, it really looks and plays great on my iPhone 6 +. The only thing that could make this game any better would be having the ability to sync with iCloud to allow you to seemlessly transition playing on your phone or tablet.

85 million Stars. I haven't played a twin stick in years and no lie when I started this I was awful at it. But once I got the controls gist back it was so familiar and fun. The music is perfect, the color scheme fits completely with the design to create one amazing package . I was simultaneously time warped to the 80's and then ahead beyond. Hope they make 20 more! Recently when I got my new phone I saw it wasn’t on the Store and I was so angry I complained like a real adult and everything :P I am so glad it’s back. I need this game with me always. 👍👍

Most replayed game I have. Fun flowing gameplay. Wishing for more and more layers of depth

Get your good headphones. I like how simple the graphics are, as well as the music. It can be cluttered with enemies and crossfire, but the simplistic style makes it appealing to the eye. I started up this app for the first time and had to rummage around my house to find my best headphones. I wasn't going to experiences this without the full effect of some great music.

no mfi. It says it supports MFi. My MFi controller works with other games. It doesn’t work with this game. The game doesn’t react to my controller at all. That I thought I could use my controller was the only reason I paid for this game.

I love it. This is my favorite game out of all the games on my phone it's confusing at first you'll have to go to the info circles but once you have played it for a wile you will understand I love this game!

Awesome!!. Love it, love it, love it, love it. Best dual stick shooter I have seen for iOS. Would love to see more games like this one. Worth the price for the amount of fun you can have with it. I would find it really interesting if you could make a game like this where you can battle other users online, and maybe even some more customization. But overall, awesome game!

Great game !!. Pros- perfect difficulty, not frustrating but still challenging, cool graphics, good controls, overall one of the best iOS games I've played. Cons- level design could change up more and with the design a lot could have been done with it, it does get repetitive and the color is always blue. Overall still a great game to play while taking a dump or pulling a shaneequa at work (as in playing on your phone all day at work, instead of actually working)

Geometry Wars replacement. Great game. Really tense gameplay. Upgrades, weapons, missals and enhancements are hard to understand when selecting.

Addictive. It plays great on my iPad mini 2 and my iPhone 5C. It does make me want a 6+. I recommend playing through Inferno+ first. If you want more, then here you go. It's a very well done sequel with an RPG/leveling element. Update: I have a 6S+ and it's great. I just wish the author would come out with an Apple TV sequel to the game.

I like it. Fun with or without controller

I LOVE THIS GAME SO ADDICTICTED. I love this game it's so fun and addictive

Pedestrian. Not bad, but not really good, either. Too much going on in terms of all the touch based inputs, really grindy, level design and mechanics are borderline boring.

Great game but lacking. This game is great with lots of verity but yet gets a little stale after continuous missions with the same objective. The new enemys added with each chapter are unique. I wish there where more boss battles or more variants of levels. I also wished there was more things you could do with your currency.

Mind-blowing Bulletstorms. I've had my eye on this game for a while and after reviewing a demo video to check the gameplay one last time, I bought it on the night of the release. I was immediately hooked by the intense firefights that require dexterity and focus, and was pulled further in by the hypnotic electronic beats. I love competitive games that require player skill and focus. Played this all night and thoroughly enjoyed it. A couple of times the background would flicker but it never ruined the experience. I consider this game to have high replay value and (for me) was absolutely worth the price

Updated review. THANK YOU for fixing the soundtrack issue! I love the soundtrack to this game- great electronic beats. The graphics are really pleasing and so smooth. The is just an aesthetically pleasing and satisfying game to play.

Great fun!. This game is easy, which may be a turn off for some players. However, what it makes up in lack of challenge, is fun. This is an extremely entertaining game, and it’s well worth the price!

New favorite game. I've really been enjoying this game lately. It's got elements of defender, asteroids, and r-type combined however your ship is within a maze. There are walls that cannot be shot or moved through then there's walls that can be who through. There's also walls that have secret passages too. There's elements of exploration, semi puzzle solving and plenty of upgrades. I'm currently on level 15 and gameplay has been very enjoyable so far. I'd like to see a survival mode, perhaps a multilayer mode as well. It'd be cool if mazes were randomly generated and populated too that way gameplay of previous levels could be more unique. Otherwise a great game and well worth the couple bucks.

Great game. Enjoyable gameplay, but the boss fights can be a bit monotonous sometimes, and when playing the special missions, the missile button does not work, which makes it hard to complete them.

Enormous Fun!. Here's a tip: If you get this game, save all of the "upgrade points" you get from leveling up until you've unlocked and tried all four primary weapons. Once you've decided which one you like best, put ALL your points into it and max it out. (You need 9 points (1+3+5) to max a given weapon.)

Twin Stick Descent. It’s a twin stick/two dimensional Descent game with an awesome soundtrack, lots of upgrades, and it’s made by Luke Schneider. What’s not to love?

Smooth a glass and totally fun. I’m not a dual-stick fan in general, but I thought I’d give this one a try based on the great reviews. I’m very glad that I did! Inferno 2 is a lot more interesting than your average bullet hell shooter - it has elements of exploration, strategy, and puzzle solving. And the implementation is exemplary. So smooth! Such finely tuned controls! Great game.

Love this game. I rarely write reviews because I don't enjoy many iOS games, this game is worthy of a review. Game play is very addictive and I like that you can customize and upgrade the shooter thingy... Also like that you can save your progression, I'm playing on the easiest mode and its still challenging but not too hard. Graphics are simple but not too simple, game play is very fluid and I really like the controls allot. If you like any arcade shooting games this will definitely be a game that all other arcade shooting games are measured against. Keep up the great work.

Life-saving. Here I was wondering what I was going to do during my summer since I have a few months off (teacher) and Inferno 2 came to me as an answer. Until I found this game my life had little meaning and was really going no where. This game single handedly gave me purpose and a reason for living. Sure I have a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter and everything seems ok for me, little did I know there was an Inferno 2 sized hole in my heart and I am now complete.

Great Game. This game is a lot of fun, good level design. I will probably go buy the first one, I hope they make a third. If they do there should be an extreme hard mode

MULTIPLAYER PLEASE.. First off, this app is my favorite. The colors are great and it's feels good to play. I have literally no flaws with it. Except if it had multiplayer then, it would be hands down it would be me favorite game on iOS. It needs co-op for the campaign, endless survival co-op and death match all with their own levels.

Inferno 2. Game no working properly

Update Broke The Game!. On my iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.2, the latest update made the game's UI display and graphics all screwy. It almost looks like they're in portrait mode, but the background is stretched all the way for landscape. It's definitely unplayable. The developer has been aware of this for months, and hasn't even mentioned working on a fix... I doubt it'll ever happen... it's a shame... especially from, what was once, one of my favorite development studios on the AppStore.

A Masterpiece. Great graphics, controls, and gameplay from can't-miss developer Radiangames.

This game is the best. This is the best game on my iPad. It is very addicting along with its great sci-fi action and explosions everywhere. This is very fun for short car rides, or if you want to beat it all at once, play it on a road trip! This keeps me very entail tainted throughout the day and I highly recommend this app for ages 8+.

Classic arcade feel with modern touch. What the title says. The one improvement I would like to see is different types of bosses being harder each time. Like if the boss had shields at first then having to destroy cores to get the shields down. Shooting the boss before the shields went back up.

Geometry wars fans rejoice!. For a long time ive been searching for the perfect iPhone game that satisfies my geometry wars reflexes and skill while simultaneously utilizing responsive and fluid touch controls I have tried many and can say that inferno 2 is perfect and I expect to enjoy hundreds of hours. I feel like I found my way home after a long journey. Skill customization brings out a little RPG element and kind of feels like tron Diablo. Plus multiple difficulty levels to suit my taste and talents gives it some longevity. Arcade modes with leaderboards/coop levels over wifi would be a fantastic update and a logical direction for the game. I hope it keeps an active player base and I think it's a solid developer and will check out their other games! 5 stars no doubt, thanks for reading!🌟

Really fun game, needs iCloud sync. Inferno 2 is great. Really fun game, nice variety of maps and weapons. The menu system for upgrades and such is a bit confusing to learn, and lack of iCloud sync of my save games is a problem. It's a universal game for iPhone and iPad, with no way to move your latest progress between the two. :\ Otherwise, super fun game and I'm still playing. Please just add iCloud sync.

Pleasant Surprise - Great Fun. Appears to be just another old-school arcade game but looks can be deceiving. This game is a perfect example of quality game design trumping flash, graphics and gimmicky filler. The creators should be proud of themselves and it's definitely worth a couple bucks. (I got it on a $.99 sale - real steal!). Anyways, do yourself a favor and give it a shot - you'll dig it. INSTANT CLASSIC!

One of the best games on iOS. I saw this app on the featured page, and could not be more impressed. It is very visually pleasing, and the music is amazing as well. The gameplay is fast paced and extremely addicting, very easy to pick up and play. Did not notice any bugs or other problems, and it is one of the best games I have ever purchased!

SO. MUCH. DAKKA.. First, you must ask yourself before buying this: Do I like explosions? Do I like so many explosions my screen is almost pure explosions? Do I like feeling frustrated that a swarm just murdered me? Do I mind slight repetitiveness as is common in arcade shooters like this? Do you like no in app purchases? If so, then this is definitely worth a couple bucks. Old style simple pick up and play shooter with simple but fun graphics, a cool soundtrack, and of course, explosions everywhere. Twin stick is very easy to control. Overall, a truly great game for passing time, one of the best time wasters I've come across on the App Store.

Entertaining. Good game so far, am half way through. Lots of customisation. Fluent movement and a pretty game for how basic it is graphically.

One of the best twin stick shooters left on iOS. I have been looking for a decent twin stick shooter for a while, it seems they used to be so many available, now, they are hard to come by. I tried downloading every single one on the App Store that I could find, then played through all of them, and this is, by far, my favourite. I paid quite a hefty amount of money for some of the other shooters, that left me completely underwhelmed and disappointed, in contrast Inferno is an absolute steal! While not entirely perfect (on my iPhone 12 mini the sticks are awfully close to the notch and home bar, meaning I occasionally, accidentally pause the game), this has been the most fun I’ve had playing a twin-stick shooter in at least half a decade. The visuals are on point, the enemies are difficult, but not entirely overwhelming; since buying it this has been the go-to game whenever I’ve had some time to kill on my phone. Despite its minor faults, still easily worthy of five stars, and still the best on the App Store I could find!

Fun. Smooth gfx & controls, fun game to pick up and play.

80's arcade with modern twist. Don't usually review but loving this retro arcade shooter. Nice graphics, old school audio & soundtrack and addictive gameplay with nice levelling options. A dollar very well spent!

Explosive Gaming. I can't stop playing this game. It has a good balance of driving music, powerful graphic explosions backed up by device shaking sound and fast action. Surely it's the best shoot em up blaster in the App Store. Some of the blasting is literally breath taking; with full power, full missiles and a screen full of deadly enemies the blasting power can sometimes transcend your comprehension. Out of it you emerge unscathed and wonder just how you pulled that one off. I advise saving scores for purchase of energy and missiles at later levels. Some impassible levels can be won by changing difficulty settings during a game. You quickly learn the pieces to fear and must master the changeover of blasting weapons and missile types to defeat the enemy. Im looking forward to inferno 3!!

Astroids on steroids. This game takes a few minutes to get into understanding the controls but once you do it is on believable. Anybody who likes the game asteroids would love this game

Dual stick shooting at its best. Evolutionary more than revolutionary improvements but still on of the greatest dual stick shooters. Intense action but spots where you can take a momentary break really make this a top choice for anyone looking for good action game.

Quite addictive. This game is fun and genuinely has an old arcade feel to it, with new age graphics. The controls are smooth, the weapons are interesting and all serve different purposes for the most part. It is however pretty repetitive.

Unequivocally Spectacular. Looks great, engaging gameplay, controls are spot on, sounds are wonderful.. What more can you ask for?

One of the better bullet hell games I've played. Top notch 2 stick bullet hell goodness. Interesting enemies, fair amount of upgrades, interesting level design and tricks. I would prefer more in depth upgrade options but this ones not bad.

Non-stop action and fun!. This is a twin-stick shooter with requires some thought and strategy on top of just moving and aiming. Runs totally smooth, controls are great, especially if you have a controller, love the look and sound and abstract style.

Best fast paced game in a real long time. The upgrades and the drones make you sooo op when fully upgrade. Around 100 levels 3 difficulty settings and a whole lot of fun

Wow. This is a fantastic game, however, I can't start a new game, it keeps going back to the last level, or stating "termination" wen I click new game for a new slot once I've finished the game. that's really it. It would be cool if you could go even further, with more upgrades the second time, and I wish the game had some mini games to play on the side, like survival.

Most Amazing Game. This game takes me back to the old Star Wars arcade games. This game is by far my favorite to play on the iPad air. Perfect hand controls, great levels, visual effects.

Another great title from Radiangames. Great game filled with many challenging levels. While you can play for long periods of time without getting tired of it you can also play short amount of time and still accomplish something.

App of the universe!. This is probably one of the best apps that I've play due date. Plus, it this app is far better the inferno+. If you like shooters and retro games then you must get this game.

Pew pew. This game is one of the most entertaining things I have played in a while. Train yard was probably that last game. Everything runs so smoothly and the graphics are beautiful.

Retro shooter with depth. Reminds me of Robotron or Berzerk, but with a lot more depth. You can play with strategy rather than just twitch reaction, or vice versa. Fantastic graphics. A lot of virtual buttons to keep track of though! Very good arcade action.
