Nice app. Love Heine Brothers and the app is a nice addition. It's makes paying and tipping so simple. Also, thank you for opening a location in Southern Indiana!

Rewards. Very few rewards, not worth it …. 3 bucks wow so nice for multi-millionaires. I wish Highland Coffee was still around.

Bad App, Good Coffee. Your rewards function is broken, or badly designed. Why can’t you use the rewards you accrue on a drive thru order? They’re only available as Order Ahead, which can’t be picked up through the drive thru, per “the rules”. Either make Order Ahead available as a drive thru option or fix the app to use rewards in the drive thru.

Rewards don’t work. Horrible app. Twice I’ve been to the store with preloaded rewards that are supposed to work when scanned. They don’t. Ever. They automatically deduct the full amount from my preloaded credit card every time. I’ve told the baristas and they do nothing. Just say it should work and have no idea how to make it right when it doesn’t work. Better off at Starbucks with their awesome app.

Love this app. I love that I can confidently use this app on my phone in place of carrying my wallet and phone to grab some coffee. Secure simplicity ... I love it. Anything backed up by Braintree has thumbs up from me. Go Heine Bros!

Great App. This is a great step forward for the rewards program. My one suggestion is to include a dollar amount for tips alongside the slider. The current setup makes it tough to tip $1/drink.

The best!!!. Heine brothers is the best!!! Easy way to “order and pick-up” and convenient locations. Staff always makes me feel welcomed and enjoyable to talk to while having my coffee.

Best App. Love this app! It makes ordering so easy and efficient. I love getting notifications on surprise rewards too! If you like Heine Bros’ you need this app!

Customer Seevice. Using the Heine Brothers app to order your coffee or hot chocolate, makes it easier to use and appreciate your order when you go to the store.

Always a delight. Bros never ever fails me especially when I need a latte with some cinnamon powder. It’s simple but it’s delicious every time. I love shopping local. I love the people that work at Heine Brothers. I love my Heine’s!!!!

Rewards Changed or Broken. Despite steady purchasing, my rewards points have been atrophying and it now seems impossible to accumulate any points towards that $3 credit. I guess this started happening in the fall. Not sure if they changed the rewards system to exclude people that don’t come everyday or if the app is broken.

Great place Crap App. Love being able to order ahead but this app is bad. It is difficult to find things, there are more options than the baristas know what to do with and it’s hard to change things from past orders to order again.

Descriptions. It would be nice if they gave a description of the drinks.

Don’t like the new app. I am a die hard Heine brothers coffee lover and supporter. I hate giving anything less than a stellar review. The old app I would have given 5 stars.Recently there was an update to the app and it’s not the same. The main difference being the descriptions for the drinks. There aren’t any anymore. It just lists the drinks with no description. I don’t always remember what’s in each different drink. Who would know whats in a bee keeper now unless you ask while you are there which wastes peoples time.

Lost me as a customer. Co-Founder and President showed his true colors. I deleted the app, no longer will support this business and will encourage others to stay away as well. Some things you can’t bounce back from.

Inconvenient. Very easy to use, but I wish the app would allow you to add gift cards. I have several, but I have to carry them around in my wallet because I can't upload them to the app.

Coffee. My husband and I decided to make the change from Starbucks to Henine Brothers due to taste and cups being filled up not just 3/4 full. Well went today got home opened ours cups and they are not even 3/4 full from Heine Brothers very disappointed with this place I thought was going to be better and not be like Starbucks to big for themselves 😢😢😢

Easy to use app, COVID-19 friendly. Title self explanatory. Easy to use, easy to add a tip, I like the notifications of deals and news’s about drink releases.

HB Perks. I’m new to HBPerks and didn’t read the directions for how to retrieve my order. I didn’t realize it would be waiting for me inside. Since I was already in the drive thru the employee helping me was super nice.

Not worth the hassle for low perks. App didn’t fully load and staff locally couldn’t help me. $50 in purchases to get a mere $3 in perks is far less than other local shops offer customers. No thank you.

Decent App. Good app. The only downfall is not having the ability to add a gift card as a payment option. The app not having this ability does not allow you to perform orders ahead when using a gift card. 👎🏼

Need to include Apple Pay. Why is the only option to use a credit card? No cash or Apple pay? This makes your app feel like a user data mining app. I really dislike sharing my CC info everywhere. If this is a loyalty app then you really shouldn't demand for us to put a CC in unless your more interested in gathering CC info. Get Apple Pay support. Starbucks app has it!

Great App, Alright Rewards Program. The app works perfectly as is and I have no complaints other than how there's no way to incorporate cash into the rewards program at all. If there was someway to do that, then I'd be satisfied

Love the coffee, hate the app. I love Heine Bro Coffee!! So when I saw they had an app I was SO excited. Then I read about the program “perks” and was less so. I decided to give it a chance anyway. I’ve had the app for about 6 months. I am comparing my experience to both two other local coffee shops and of course Starbucks. First, I have never had one problem with the Pay feature of the app. That is a major pro in its favor. It has never glitched on me. The cons however, are many. The app is linked straight to either your bank or credit card (no problem with that), however when you use it the first month or at least this was my experience, the money came out of the account instantly. Good right!? I loved that! No paying an app and then paying the barista. Just straight from the bank. Well in the second month, they did what is apparently the normal way the app is supposed to work and they add all the charges and pull the money from your account on a specified day of the month. Hated this! I had no clue how much I’d spent there over a month (not a huge amount) but when I saw a charge for 20$ show up on my account from heine bro, I thought my card had been compromised and started freaking out. Mainly because I was in bed when the charge was made and unless I had an entourage of friends, would not spend that much in one sitting! The other con is you have to spend 50$ with the app before you are “rewarded” which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if the reward wasn’t so stingy. THREE DOLLARS off after 50$. I mean come on! You can’t even cover a whole specialty drink with that! Their Starbucks counterpart blows them out of the water in this area. One local coffee shop I frequent has a punch card system that is far FAR better than this. And the other shop keeps track of your visits through the square app and rewards you that way. Both of which in theory seem far inferior to this app but in execution beat them out. Bottom line, I’m all about supporting local and like I said, I love Heine Bros Coffee, but this program shows me they care nothing about their customers and has made me reconsider frequenting there. I hope they up their game a little in the future for those of us that are regulars.

Have never been able to get the app to work. I use the Level Up app at Little Greek without a problem, but the HB app has never worked. I have deleted it and retried it so many times. Would love to take advantage of the perks.

Does not work. Downloaded app. Because I already have another thing with level up it won’t update a new password and now it locked me out for 1 minute. In this day and age apps should work well with minimal effort. So far this App is TRASH.

A moment to myself. It has recently become part of my routine after dropping my son off at his practice to stop by for a beverage that’s always on point from this pleasant staff.

Great for paying, lackluster for perks.. This app is very convenient for quick payment and the app is very well designed. The only downside is the lackluster perk system. For every $50 you spend you only get $3 in rewards money for future purchases. They do have a few random discounts drop here and there but compared to other rewards programs this one is not very good. Ideally you would want to see more rewards back for spending $50 on coffee.

Love your coffee, but why can't we use cash?. I am a long time fan-Heine Bros has always been a great company, and I'm glad to see them expanding to a new app! But, today I was told that if I wanted to reap the rewards of being a regular customer I HAVE to pay with a credit card. That's unacceptable to me. I pay for a lot of things in cash, expecially smaller priced items like coffee. I won't add my credit card just to be treated like other regular customers, sorry. I really hope you fix this in a future update!

App. My app doesn’t work. I’ve logged out then logged in, deleted and reinstalled the app. I love their coffee, but not the app.

Won’t Download. I can’t redownload the app because my “payment method has already been added.”

New update. As someone who has spent about 1800$ dollars within a year I think the new app & point system is a rip off. Not very pleased

Recent update locked out account. After getting the most recent update for the app, I was logged out, and have not been able to reset my password. Lunchbox.io also did not save my password to my keychain. I have been unable to create a new account too, rendering the app useless, and taking my rewards points with it.

Garbage. New app is horrible. I was caboose status before the changeover and had enough points to get 10 free brewed coffees (which I was saving for, for when I get off maternity leave). Now the points conversion is making it worth only 7 free coffees. But even before that, there is NO WAY TO SELECT OR REDEEM REWARDS. The app only states how many points you have… but NO reward selection or way to add at checkout. They only have a promo code box that doesn’t help me at all. It’s a new month and I can’t even redeem my FREE monthly $10 credit from caboose. I came to Heine Bros after Starbucks and Dunkin switched their app programs, making points worth less. Now Heine is doing the same thing so I guess I’m on to the next coffee house (The Well *formally “Sister Bean”). Baristas can’t help… but I can’t blame them since they don’t even teach them about the update. So I’m stuck messaging back and forth to their support email account.
