Used to love this app. I’ve used this app for years for both business and personal finance. It used to be wonderful. Today I tried to save my backup to iCloud and it causes a huge glitch with freezing and crashing. Looking for a new app.

NEW UPDATE CRASHES APP. New update is horrible. I have had to delete the app and reload several times. I don't know what you did but fix it. I love this app and have it on two devices to synch up which means I paid for it and now can't use it. I used it for a year before this and loved it. Please fix this sooner than later ie fix it now

Data entry great, reports not so great. I love this app for inputting my expenses, both business and personal, but trying to run reports for tax purposes is a nightmare.

Requesting update. This is the best expense tracking app. I have used this for 5-6 years, but this is not compatible with the latest iOS 11. Please update it.

Updates Needed. I’ve used this app for years on my Samsung and recently moved to iPhone. There’s no way to sort payees alphabetically. On Samsung it already knew what categories I used based on payee but not on iPhone. Dark mode is no more on iPhone. It’s very hard to manage and get used to.

Crash on XS Max. crash all the time, please fix it. Very annoying!

Account Transfer is not working. Simple, free , multi-account and mult-currency suppporting application to track expense. I ued its andorid version for 3 years. But iOS version has issues. One major one: Transfer from one account to another account dont make any changes in the current balance of both the accounts.

Iphone 5S. Awesome app! Can sync across all my devices. The one app i am using all the time! Really does its job.

Please fix bugs!. I’ve been using this app for 3 years and it works better for my needs than all the other “it” budgeting apps. I haven’t had a problem with it until last month when the budget tool went crazy. It’s one of the features I absolutely need so now I’m thinking of finding a new app but all the ones I’ve tried have sucked. Please fix this!

From good to worst. This used to be a good app but recent updates have made it more heartbreaking that divorce. The app crashes when you need it the most. Sometimes it freezes the entire screen. It’s terrible now. I wouldn’t recommend

Best budget app. I’ve used the app since 2009. I love it. I had to stop for a while because of the freezing and small glitches. Tried other apps but this one was better than all of them . It also works best for multiple streams of income. I would rate it a 5 if i could sync the app on all my devices. Great job to the developers.

One of good app. It is a good app, but there are some things which are very important. There should be an account to maintain the record, even if the app is deleted from device. To keep same account on every other device.

Family Sharing. Hi, I downloaded this alp, because it was saying that family sharing is supported. And now I am not seeing that option anywhere in the app.

Crash and lost data. I have used more than 2 years; but this morning crashed and I have lost all of my data. I don’t know what I have to do now!

Dark mode. Iphone dark mode is not properly compatible with this app. Please fix it.

Need Pro version for iOS. I don’t know why the pro version isn’t available for iOS. I had it on my Samsung. One feature in particular I preferred in the pro version is that the “payee” category would automatically organize new payees alphabetically. Why would this iOS version not perform such a simple function? It makes it so much easier to find the payee. Another feature the pro version has is to automatically fill in the expense category as it learns your spending trends. If Apple is the one not offering the pro version, please offer it! If the developer is the one not creating a pro version for iOS, please develop one!

Freezes! Please fix. I have been loving this app for years but the last couple of months it freezes constantly. I cannot complete a single input without having to stop and restart. Please fix this or I will have to abandon the app. I will be so disappointed because I really love this app. Thank you !!!

Best expense tracker I've tried!. I've attempted to use a few expense frackers and this one is by far the best! It's easy to input data, you can take pictures of receipts and records to attach to transactions and see an overview of your finances by day, week or month! Easy to customize fields also. Definitely recommend!

GreatApp!: near 5 stars!!. Feature rich that 90% of the other apps do not have (sub-categories, tags, budgets, accounts) ignore the woes me of some and try this app!! Why 4 instead of 5 stars? Iwant an ad-free version!!

Current version does not work. Since the update the app keeps closing. Stays up for about 2 seconds then force closes. Fix it please.

Needed Update. Needed update and Interest

APP freezing when entering an item and probably needs updating. Simple and easy to use without all the flashy fuss, however with all the iOS updates, the app probably needs an update of its own

Slow and hangs. This app hangs out almost every time I edit. Looks like the developers have stopped monitoring its performance. If you have issues spinning up more EC2 instances let me know. I’m a great software engineer who can help you out

Apple IOS Users. I recently had the most updated version of this fantastic app on my Samsung Galaxy I turned it in for an Apple iPhone & I was to download this expense app on my iPhone but to my disappointment many features were not available which makes this app more difficult for ex.I'm unable to put my payee's in alphabetical order is there a way the developers can update on the IOS system.

display issue. the new version 4.0.1 is not displaying full screen on my iphone. it appears to be zoomed out and not using the full screen, this is the first update that has done this

Dropbox Backup Issue. From Dropbox, db file can’t be downloaded. Or after downloading there’s only a white screen nothing else

Freezing. This is a great app but after IOS 11, it’s freezing and stops working so I can’t save. It takes a lot of time to do anything. Hopefully it can be fixed quick. Thank you.

Please fix it. It is very good on my phone, but there are some problems on my Ipad. I tried to input the early year, there was no year to choose. I tried to summary by the year, it was hang. It should have a calculator at the amount, too. Please fix it. I will give five star if It really works like on the phone.

New update is not good. Hey guys.. i have been using this app for over 3 years now. It’s been fantastic and amazing. However, the new update is not good. I am facing a lot of problems when trying to open it. 1/4 of the screen is dark and this app doesn’t fit the screen of iPhone X. This app deserves and five star if the issues mentioned above are fixed.

Best after trying others.. Fantastic app, very easy to use, many functions. I use iPhone X. EZ respond within a couple of hours. Highly recommended.

App freezing and crashing. Please fix. Dear developer, I have been using this apps. I had been using this apps on my Samsung. It didn't have any issues. It is very2 contradict when I'm using this apps from my iPad with a lot of issues. I have been inputting my income and expenses a lot via this apps in my iPad. Yet when I input the next expenses, it automatically appears the previous balance. For illustrates (all of this is not the real amount of money), i put my income & outcome & I have got $400 (01/01/14). I have income $150 on 03/01/14 = $550. When I put it Expenses: $50 (04/01/14,it still appears $500), $40,60 (08/01/14, it still appears $400), $50(09/01/14), = $350 Income $150(10/01/14) =$500. $150 (13/01/14) = $650. expense $50 (16/01/14) = $600 $100 (17/01/14 - 18/01/14) = $500. $200 (19/01/14 -21/01/14) = $300, When I put the next expense $ 40 (22/01/14), it automatically disappear my all expense history (08/01/14 - 22/01/14), yet it automatically appears $400 (01/01/14). How come?

Please fix. I’ve been using app for ages and recently been using it for my project cost sheets but since yesterday I can open app and press one project then it freezes I can’t add any cost or export any data

Not good. I have this app on my anfroid phone and it works perfectly but when i use it on IOS the transfer dont work

Unable to import csv files to port data from android to iPhone. If you migrate from Android to iPhone, the existing expense manager data such as .db and .csv files will not get imported.

Android version is better. While it does work it’s pretty far behind compared to the Android version. Could really use updates to bring it in line with that one.

Love the app!. I’ve been using this app on my Android phone since Jan 2014. When I moved to iOS st the beginning of this year, one of the first things I did was look for this app. I found it, but it didn’t support the version of iOS at the time. I’ve been keeping a “dual set of books” between the Android version and another iOS expense manager, with which I wasn’t entirely satisfied. So happy to see this app updated! Thanks!! Nov 2018 — I see there have been bug fixes, etc. Really hoping to see development of the app similar to the Android feature set. Jan 2020 By default, this app (like many other iOS apps) keeps its data in iCloud. This means that if you’re transacting in the app and you have a large database, it’s trying to do so over a remote connection. This can (and did for me) cause the app to become very lagged and unresponsive. At the suggestion of the developer, I disconnected the app from iCloud. This solved the issue I was having, but means that I’ll have to backup the data to Droobox (annn b option within the app) rather than use iCloud.

Can’t sync with DB uploaded from Android device. App crashes every time i try to download/sync DB that is uploaded to dropbox and that DB is uploaded from Android device. Annoying and eventually useless application, and tbh one pf my favorite apps in the store.

Should be same as the Android app. I used this program on my android device since 2017, its a great app and perfectly done its job, but when I recently moved to iPhone I found lots of missing things, It should be the same as the android version to keep using it. Now Im trying to find a program with the same customized capabilities but I'd really like to keep using it on IOS; so please try to update it to be the same as the android version.

Need update. I was using android version and it was great. Iphone version missed many updates. It is hanging frequently in iphone.

Apple version doesn’t work properly. I have used this app on android with little or no issues for at least 10plus years. Now I have an iPhone and want to continue using the app it’s a nightmare. I wrote to the devs but the few advises didn’t help much. It doesn’t automatically sync with Dropbox I have to use “Dropbox chooser “ to update it from the app db data from my android which I still use for some non apple apps, and the count still comes out off by a few inputs. Why? Across my androids it’s correct but somehow the apple app gets it wrong and I have to manually adjust it which is a task every time. I deleted all data a redid but same result. I notice the apple version has not been updated for a year now is it being neglected? I want to keep using the app on the iPhone but the devs needs to update it as I’m sure there are other users that are having multiple issues with this app. SO PLEASE DEVELOPER FIX THE APP!

Are the developers no longer?. Last app update I see posted was 1 yr ago. I used this app on Android for years and it functioned flawlessly. Bought an iPhone and downloaded app and it’s horrible. Does not have the full capabilities it had on android, no widget and now it freezes all the time. If you are looking for a great personal financial app...this used to be it, sad to say NO longer. Look elsewhere😥😥

Feature Rich Offline Transaction Tracker. Perfect Personal Finance Manager, My Search for a app to keep records of my spending ended after finding this app. Tried other apps,after some disappointing moments i thought of using a google form by placing it in my home screen but in vain as it requires an always online connection. So this is my Scenario I am from India, and my primary and only way of transaction is by cash i have a bank account & a debit, and also a virtual wallet, after all the whenever i revieve or spend i enter it to the app manually generally once a day, multiple accounts are also supported and budgeting is possible and easy, after a month i export to Excel Spreadsheet.I also get Bank/Card Statements & Wallet Statements in Excel and Add it to my primary expense manager sheet which i prepared myself to keep tabs on income and expenditure. This app comes in handy if you are an offline spender and you want all records to be updated into a sheet. In fact the app also gives summary of the selected date rage which very useful have an overall synopsis of money flow.recurring transactions option automatically add expenditure/income and autofill option for income and transaction comes in handy for faster entries. If you are not willing to provide banking/credit card data to an app and want fully feature loaded app without any restrictions of number of transactions etc then this is the app for you. Thank You App Developers.

Adjust balance button. I went from android and now when I am a little off the button to adjust the total isn’t there

Slow and difficult to restore. I used for over four years and would like to continue to use however major performance issues on Apple iOS. Also could not restore from my csv from iCloud or Dropbox. Tried to report issue to get help from developers or makers of the app but not available. I would consider subscribing to for purchase of they help me recover and fix the performance bug because believe the product could be as good as it was on android. Thank you

Love it now...loved it more on Android. I’ve been using this app for 6+ years. I am an old school checkbook ledger book balancer. I have always loved the functionality an no frills of this app. Recently came over from Android and uploaded my transferred history. iOS version loses some programming. Won’t give me an accurate “All Accounts” balance. No big deal but I did like using that to see my overall hard work payoff as my balances come down and my debt reduced. Otherwise, just as functional and simple to use.

have some kind of viewing error. on i pad when i type note in expense or income, the screen doesnt go to note and just showing the date and time view

IOS app needs upgrade. I’ve been using the expense manager app for more than 7 years in Android. I’ve loved it so much and it suited well for me. They have even provided a great update in the last years with improvised UI and options to visualize the chart. So far they provide the very useful functionality of sync and back up with google drive, drop box and local backup. Today I switched to iPhone and I was shocked by looking at the IOS version of the app. It’s far worse. It didn’t even match up with the initial version of android app I started using 7 years back. I request the app developer to please upgrade the IOS app and bring in all the good stuff we have in android

iOS vs android. The android version is so much more appealing and easier to use. When I click on a date on the calendar in iOS, it always wants to go to the next month. The app also seems a lot more laggy on iOS than android.

Review on recently updates. Thanks for recently updates on the app after years of no update. I was searching for the replacement, but I can’t find any apps better than this. Better on android. Switched from android after using this app for 4 years. But this app is missing many features on iOS when compared to android so I’m going to have to switch to using another app. On android it would auto fill all details when you select a payer for example but on iOS it’s all manual.

Downloads in Ver.1. Good app, great functionality, but it only downloads in Ver.1 without all the modern updates.

Need a fix!. I've been using expensify app for a long time on my nexus 5. But now, the sync doesn't happen and if I try to download/restore the.db and.csv file by syncing with Dropbox, all I see on main screen is a white color. I'm disappointed with this!

Good app - Needs improvements. Have been using this app for a long time. Needs to be developed/ UI brought at par with android version. Developer is not updating it so it needs to be looked into. If developers pays little attention and may be introduce a paid version, this is by far the best expense manager app available.

Dropbox. I’ve had this on my android since 2018! I now have IPhone 13 and when I upload from my android to Dropbox then download from Dropbox to my new IPhone it will not install all of my sub categories that I have put in myself on my android! Thus making my balance off because everything I’ve had under the categories that I put in are not showing so it says I have more money than I’m suppose to have !
