💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Horrible customer service and computing errors. Last two times I went to make a payment, I specifically changed it from the default bank to my work provided bank account. Despite this, it’s taking the money from my default account that is hardly used and doesn’t have the funds to cover. While I’m not sure if this is the company or apps fault, they refuse to fix or change anything, and when trying to use the live chat, it keeps exited me out of the app and even deleted my chat history. Good thing I got screenshots. Then it started me back at the beginning of talking to the virtual assistant, and I lost what little progress I had made talking to the first agent I had before the app closed out on me. I have been charged $70 in overdraft fees from them taking money from the wrong account that I explicitly told them not to do again the first time this happened. Since you’re downloading this app, it’s too late to warn you about the horrible customer service and not choose this credit card, but be prepared to have no solution to your problem after over an hour of trying to deal with representatives through this app. I will be paying off my card by transferring money through my work account to my default account, which I shouldn’t have to do since I paid them just fine in the past, and then closing my account with this horrid company.

Unfair credit report. Dear Discover Card. Last month in November 2019 your company dropped my credit card report score 24 points, from 804 to 780, for no apparent reason. I did not do anything different except pay all my bills on time as I have done for the last 30 years. After personally checking my credit report myself with TransUnion, they still had my score in the low 800’s. So why the sudden change in my Fico score? Perhaps discover card can explain this sudden large drop on my Fico score. This is really upsetting me to the point that I feel I need to make a change of credit card companies. Thanks, is this the reward I get for being a loyal customer for 30 years? I understand that Capital One pays a much higher rate in reward points then any other credit card company now a days! Perhaps the discover card company feels because I pay my credit card bills in it’s entirely each month that they cannot make any money off me?, I don’t know. What I do know is that Discover Card my loose a great customer because somebody made a big error on my credit score. Sincerely, Vincent Vales

My discover experience. My wife of 68 years and I have been with Discover for nearly 30 years for the best of reasons: “ The Complete Nature of the Services we need” and standing behind what you offer us with competent REAL PEOPLE who solve all the occasional problems that arise with those we do business with. We have used to some extent, a number of the major credit card services offered nationally through the years, without satisfaction. Discover Card remains the sole service we can trust to solve all our issues promptly without shuttling us through all levels of “ Digital Assistants”, only to leave us frustrated and our problems unresolved. Our detailed monthly billing allows us to track all our expenses far better than having our own personal book keeper. We know exactly “where and for what”, we are spending our limited income, so we can make informed adjustments if needed to our expenditures. We are in our late eighties and fighting to avoid leaving our home until the end of our lives due in part to Our Discover card “keeping us straight”. Thank you folks at Discover Card for providing us with live human reps and outstanding book keeping to make our lives so much better. We wish we could write this message to all those we do business with. Please DON’T CHANGE to better match the competition cost wise, by trading human beings for robots. Doyle and Gerri Williams.

GRAITUDE. Over the last 30 years of marriage we are finally turning our financial goals in the right direction. I’m 48 and he’s 53 and we have had bad credit for some time. My husband held down a profession in the timber industry for 23yrs with frequent lay offs. I was a stay at home mom of 2 boys because it made the most sense as we would have to pay for child care. He would come home some evenings and say next month we are getting payed off for two months. His unemployment helped but not close to equivalent. We would barrow from peter to pay Paul. We would pay high interest rates because we were forced to. We have been working hard on repairing our credit for our future and by Discover card qualifying us it feels go to “adult” and watch our hard work, work for us. Thank You and I LUV your app and notifications. Discover’ed It ROCKS!!! ~Christine

Great app for a great card. I use this app a lot. It works well, etc. But I love Discover as a card in general. They stay on top of possible fraud charges lightening fast and catch bad charges freakishly accurately. Better than my bank which is a huge national big bank. Traveling Discover flows with us and makes it so easy to say where we’re going or they check if it’s an odd charge. I have LITERALLY spent over an hour letting my bank know I’m going one state over -have to do it because they’ll just decline me at register with no excuse. Traveling- Europeans don’t accept American Express checks like old days, they pretend they don’t understand you, etc. So again. I love this card and this app. Discover is leagues ahead, quicker to alert of possible problems and deal with issues when they arise. Everyone I have ever talked to at customer service (so far as of July 2020) I can actually understand and has been knowledgeable and patient. Again, so far!

Please, PLEASE!! Fix the recent transaction view.. Hi I love your app and credit card, it’s literally my favorite. My only complaint and its pretty annoying is the recent transaction view. EVERY other money/bank app I use has a limitless “recent transaction” View. You do have that on the website for some reason not on the app. This is really frustrating. There is No way to view recent transaction in chronological order. You must either do it by month or otherwise. The “view last 12 months” tab views from earlier to latest. Why on earth would I want to start form 12 months ago? I really hope you fix this and at least give the option to start from most recent, I always end up looking at the website instead. I hate doing the month by month statement. I just want an infinite tab with the most recent transaction in chronological order. Thank you!

Terrible app / dev support. My app has been crashing immediately on launch on my iPhone since late June. I’ve provided debug logs and numerous calls to Discover and there have been zero followups to help to get to the bottom of the issue. I’ve done all the usual app removal, restarting phone, reinstall etc. nothing works. The underlying problem appears to be in their use of a third party framework for device notifications within the discover app. No follow ups equals horrible customer service. Update: 6 months later and the problem still continues. For those continuing to have the same problem, it will not get fixed unless you get a different device or Discover fixes the bug that is tied to your device id. Certain set of device ids broke back in May/June and their developers don’t seem to know or care on trying to work around it or fix it. Pretty sad considering… also they have a monthly cadence of releases which makes it extremely hard to have to wait each month to see if they have fixed the issue.

WORST BANK EVER!!!!. My Savings Account is frozen, basically once a week. The only way to get money out of it is to request a check or wire. So I opt for the Wire. Discover thinks all wires are fraud. Even though they initially vet the account, they do not just make sure it’s you on the phone with personally identifiable information. They run it as if you are a new customer and I get flagged and frozen every time. I spent all of July on the phone with Discover fixing the issue, which was only the one they created. Now it is November and I tried to do another wire and again it’s frozen. The fraud department has no issue with telling tall tales about the status of the account and banking laws in general. In July, I was told I tried to send money out of the account before the incoming wire placed the money in the account. Really, my bank statement showed the funds and my Fed Ref # proved the funds were there but Customer Service insisted I tried to pull a fast one and the funds were not there. That is not how wires work. Whoever is running Compliance at Discover needs to be replaced. Dumb procedure on top of dumb procedure to ensure job security and accomplish nothing except annoying the customer.

My favorite credit card ever!!!. I love Discover so much that I need this credit card. After one year of having one Discover credit card, I got me another one. So now I have two of them, and I love both of them. I’ve had my first Discover card for almost two years, and I couldn’t be happier. I spend the heck out of my credit cards, but I always make my payments on time each month. If you do what you’re supposed to do, and use your credit card, and pay at least the minimum balances on your credit card, then you will be just fine. Of course it’s always better to pay more than your minimum balance if you can. You will save money, and it will look good on you. I’m always making extra payments to my credit cards when I can. When it’s time, and you deserve it, they will give you a credit line increase, and they are very fair. Out of all the credit cards I’ve had, Discover card is my favorite. They are the most fairest, and have the best perks of any credit card in my opinion. I’m going to use Discover credit cards for the rest of my life. I hope they never go away.

Doesn’t include everything. I recently opened a card and I’ll say discover loves to throw a bunch of menus at you to try to confuse you. I noticed they do have some questionable things of concern such as they don’t even give me my closing date on my account on the app. I had to go online and dig through the menus to find out my closing date was literally a week and a half from getting my card.(what kind of bs is this?) It seems like they almost want me to not know my closing date and by extension my payment date. In comparison my other cards clearly list closing date, payment due, and payment date clearly under the account both online and on the app. I didn’t have to dig through menus to find my important dates. I’m aware of the intro apr but I still find that discover is either highly incompetent in their mobile app interface or trying to hide important information.

I’VE DISCOVERED IT!. I’ve been with DISCOVER for several years (not sure how many - that goes back to some of my older notebooks), and I have never had a problem of any kind with them. I have what I consider to be an excellent APR - considering some of the credit card offers I receive in the mail! (For that matter, one of my other cards, which I no longer use for purchases, has a rate 7 points higher than my DISCOVER card.) For quite some time now, I have been using my DISCOVER card for all my purchases - that way I can keep track of all my spending, and I am assured of purchase protection on virtually everything I buy. And all my phone contacts with DISCOVER personnel have been trouble-free; everyone with whom I spoke was knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for a new credit card that will make it worth your while, I recommend the DISCOVER card. (Tell them I sent you!) A Very Satisfied Customer

Beyond Expectations. Unlike other services, banking apps are not the driving force of revenue nor the crux of the banks' model. Naturally, they tend to lag in user experience and do not offer enough functionality for users like myself want to bother installing them. Discover's app offers a very robust and intuitive interface that makes me want to log into the app. I want to commend the ux designers and dev team on putting together a flawless and seamless experience that leaves a lasting strong impression of the company. Discover has proven it is willing to invest in the customer experience through the app, including a stellar feature which allows me to acces my FICO score at will, and with outstanding customer support. I have not had such a pleasant and engaged financial service as Discover and would be keen on seeing how this helps their business grow.

More Functionality Than Most. I’ve been with Discover Card since the beginning, and as it evolved, it became my preferred method of payment. Discover offers the best incentives and to my knowledge, their customer service has never been outsourced to foreign countries, so I’ve never dealt with language barriers like the I’ve experienced with other card companies. They continually update their app, which is probably why it offers more functionality than most and I’ve never experienced any of the technical issues some reviewers have complained about. The only downside to Discover Card is the fact it is not as widely accepted as American Express, MasterCard or Visa. Fortunately that type of minor setback can be easily circumvented by using an online payment service provider that accepts Discover. And no, I don’t work for; I’m not related to or know anyone affiliated with; Discover Card.

Could be better. I’ve set up FaceID, but for some reason when I click the app, I have to manually click the FaceID button for login. Then, it scans, I get a green check and…nothing happens. It might do it once, then login, or like this morning might keep doing it until I get frustrated and give up. I also wasn’t getting push notifications when I used my card, I checked my settings and the only notification turned off is badges. Turned them back on and I’m getting pushes for my transactions. This is not reasonable. Now I have to log into the app (which doesn’t work correctly) to manually clear out every notification so I don’t have a badge count if I want to continue getting push notifications of transactions. This is just silly. I’m on a fully updated 14 pro, so the issue is certainly the app. I would also like to have an option to view more than one card or account in the app, I have my own Discover and am an authorized user on my husband’s card. There’s no easy way to switch between accounts, so I have to go to the website in order to view or pay my husband’s card. Other credit card apps allow for account switching.

The worst credit card and customer service. I have been a Discover customer for many years and never ever had and issue or claim until I had a credit/refund issue with Airbnb and Discover sided with Airbnb and denied me 15 hundred dollars refund with many many poor allegations and putting me in the middle like I had the one to resolved it, which at the end YES! I RESOLVED IT. All the documentation presented to Discover was not enough until I hired an Atty and Airbnb issue the credit, something Discover could have been done and not keep me bouncing and dealing with ppl that even don’t grasp their job functions for an efficient customer service and quick resolution, rather taking more than 4 month to finally resolved the refund from Airbnb thru my atty. All this issue is due to a very poor service where in my own experience with Discover I see those employees are not trained properly or Discover hire those type of ppl with no even common sense, each individual has their own answer. Unbelievable! Very frustrated and sorry my self that I have been a customer of a thrifty credit car issuer Discover.

From Hero to Zero. Discover Financial Services has gone from a company I advocated for and was incredibly happy with to a company I despise and feel betrayed by. Went to use my card at a high end retailer and it declined. Opened the app and the app was down, called customer service and the number was busy. Called later from home and was told that my perfectly paid account was on hold because of a security verification and they needed me to Sign a form that allows them to contact the IRS to receive my income tax transcripts for the last 3 years! What???? Unbelievable. Paying your bill like clockwork and actively using your card for $10k + each month for years isn’t good enough. Last month they bumped up my credit line and this month they lock me down and want trigger and IrS audit. If you’re a small business owner stay away from discover. They will betray you randomly for no reason and then stand behind their process and call it standard. I don’t need discover, but if they lose every customer like me, they will need me. So long. Won’t be back.

Was great now won’t work at all. This app used to work great. I imagine it still does for some. It used to work great for me then it just stopped working. It won’t even show the first page. I called Discover maybe a couple of months ago when this first happened. They had me uninstall and reinstall the app. I did it multiple times w/o change. The screen on my iPhone just flashes then goes back to what it was displaying before. I really miss the app-it is more convenient than the web page. I only give this one star since I cannot even use the app at all. Discover said maybe an update would fix it. There have been updates since that time and the results are the same. I have even uninstalled the app, powered off, waited 10 seconds, powered on then reinstalled the app w/o any change. Please remedy this issue. Thank you. A very disappointed, long-term, loyal customer I called last year summer. Still not working—splash screen flashes and that’s it. Extremely dissatisfied with the app since it no longer works

Mislead!!. Was lead to believe that I will be graduating after 7 months. It’s been 2 years and no one can tell me why I can’t graduate from secured to unsecured. Spoke to supervisor who said that no one has the answer and no one can talk to the department that makes the decision. I have 2 unsecured card with over $20,000 in combined credit yet they are holding my $2,500 secured deposit hostage. Was told the account is being reviewed automatically every month yet when ask for proof that it is being done NO ONE can do so. I asked for just one proof that my account was at least reviewed once in the past two years and they said they couldn’t do so and that there was no way of seeing that it was reviewed. They just know that it is “supposed” to be done every month starting the 7th month after the account was opened. I asked if there was any criteria that I was not meeting for my card to graduate and they said they couldn’t see why. My payment history is perfect! My balance has never been more than 12% of my credit limit not even once in the past 2 years since I opened the account. My score is 748 and they refuse to graduate my account so that I can get my money back. If you don’t mind having your secured deposit money held hostage then it’s a great card and the app is awesome and the customer service is phenomenal, never had a problem. Otherwise, Stay away.

Slow and littered with bugs. While this app lets you view and pay your bill all in one place, the app itself is terribly slow and buggy. Signing in with Face ID takes forever to initiate and then complete the sign in process after authentication. Face ID doesn’t always come up right away as I am tempted to push the buttons on the screen until it loads. The app isn’t terrible but I believe an app that is designed to provide users with important information relating to their credit card bill should authenticate smoothly and quickly. The time it takes to log into the app deters me from checking my bill frequently which may look to some as a shady practice to encourage overspending. I have also encountered numerous errors and issues using the app such as due dates displaying as confusing text such as “no date” rather than explaining why there is no date. Once I have a credit score, I plan to switch to Apple Card for its superior sign in speed, beautiful user interface, and stable experience. As a software developer myself, I encourage you to make the app’s experience smoother.

The best cc company ever. I I never write reviews but I had to This time. So I had a Discover card before. Am unsecured card. But I messed up due to hard times and lost the card. It was 2000 line off credit. So several month’s later after my credits is shot from my responsibility I apply for another discover card but This time I could only quality for a secure card . I was approved for a 300 credit line with a 300 deposit requirement. I was very glad that discover gave me another opportunity after my mess up. Well months later I get an e-mail saying they are returning my deposit and increasing my credit line. Just amazingl and absolutely incredible. My new credit line jumped from 300 to 1800 in 6 months. I am very grateful to this wonderful cc company and I will never mess up again. Thanks for giving me another opportunity.

Good card, good app. I have enjoyed using this app. It's been very useful and never gets hung up. I haven't seen any glitches or other problems that I have with other apps. My Discover account has been really useful. I even recommended to my husband that he get the same type of card. The only time I've ever had a problem was when someone somehow stole my numbers, probably from one of those card readers at the gas pump. It took a lot of effort and several days for me to be able to use my card. I never had the same experience when I had similar happenings with other cards. If I have had a problem with a card in the past from another account, I was able to use the new card within 24 hours. It's too bad we live in a time when someone stealing your account and identity is even an issue.

Best Ever!!!. As a person who had late beginnings in life, Discover gave me a card back in January 2019 with a credit limit of $1800. I have a card with Wells Fargo from 2015 and still only have $1000 credit limit. Granted I missed two payments with WF in the first year. I worked myself hard to put that behind me and prove I am responsible. Discover rewarded me for being a good customer. My current limit is $4900! The best part, I don’t ask. They give. I have cards from Amex, Chase and Capital One, but my favorite is my Discover! I use them the most because they appreciate people who are responsible with credit use. And pay off the balance each month. Oh, and their customer service is incredible! They treat their customers with respect, which seems to be missing from others. Take note creditors; Discover it!

Beware depositing checks. My husband gets paid monthly on the second via physical check. We had no problem using the mobile app to deposit the check in the past. However, this month his employer made a mistake and entered the wrong date on the check. We didn’t notice the error and did the mobile deposit. The check was rejected due to being post dated. So, I redid the process the next day and I was told the check was already deposited. I called Discover and was told I would need to mail the check in. I’m sorry Discover…if you are going to reject a check and not have a physical bank to rectify the issue, come up with a better way then mailing the check in. Fortunately we are not in the position where this check would make or break us by waiting…but some others may be living paycheck to paycheck and this delay could be detrimental by not having their funds to pay bills. I was told a wrong spelling of your name could reject your check. Please be careful. We moved across country and that is why we signed up for Discover. We will be getting a local bank now because of this inconvenience.

Beware— Discover Sides with Vendors in Disputes!. Unlike American Express, Citibank Visa or Apple MasterCard, Discover makes it impossible to get one single representative to manage an ongoing dispute. Every time one calls Discover, they route customers to random representatives, never the same one. Representatives are cordial, but one must recount a concern again and again with each new representative. One can ask for a supervisor but cannot ask for one high-level manager, and Discover never assigns a manager to whom you can always go for answers. Recently, in ongoing multi-year disputes with New York Sports Club, cited in 2020 by NY State Attorney General for fraud and zealous fraudulent over-billing, Discover coldly sided with New York Sports Club. We finally paid the health club $695 for physical training that my husband never actually received because he was hospitalized for placement of his cardiac stents. After we paid, we decided to quit Discover. We use our Citi Costco Visa, Apple Card and our American Express card— all of which protect us and offer vastly superior rewards and infinitely better customer service than Discover. Beware!

Worst bank ever.. This is honestly the worst bank I have ever used in my entire life. I Didn’t even have it a month, and they ruined my entire account. The first week went great, I got to do my mobile deposit no problem. The second week I deposited my check, the bank tells me the day after the deposit of their new 5 day hold rule on checks on newer members. Obviously, if I knew the bank would create this policy, I would never have continued use. However, I was 2 weeks away from being a 30 days account anyway, so I pushed through. The fifth day came, and my check was still not deposited. I called and the bank tells me that they extended my hold, but couldn’t give me a reason WHY the check was on or why they couldn’t change the deposit date. They kept telling me “sorry” and “we understand” but, really? In the end that means nothing to me and you did nothing to help me. I will say the bank has good customer service, but what’s the point when it’s wasted on messed up deposits and empty apologies? I would give this bank zero stars if I could.

What gives?. Discover was my very first CC 9 years ago. I now have several and I maintain them all perfectly, in fact I have zero balances on all of them. Discover is still my smallest credit limit card and they refused to increase my credit limit. They say the refusal is from my credit report… after they refused me I applied for and received a Target Red card (which became my newest high limit card) and today I was approved for a muuuch higher limit Gold Delta Amex card than every other card have. The approvals were based on my credit report! I called Discover right after I received the denial letter to discuss it and I was just told sorry we make decisions only on what the system said. Well Discover, guess which card I won’t use very often?! Just $10 here and there to keep it open. You should dig a little deeper when your own customer calls to say “hey I’ve had this account almost ten years, it’s been fully paid off several times, and I’ve never had a late payment”.

Great app, but could be better. Great app, easy to use. However I have had this app for a week and have only successfully logged in about 3 times. Extremely annoying when I cannot see the app, go to log in on the browser and I am usually met with another page stating they are working to resolve the issue. I have also not been able to set up a PIN number, when I try, a blank screen pops up with a red exclamation mark. Today alone, I have tried to log in about 5x, and it kept telling me my password was wrong. Go to log in on the browser, it lets me, and then tells me there’s an issue they are working to resolve. I have an Apple 6. Hoping I’m not told to upgrade my phone in order to use an app that should be able to be used no matter what phone you have. Whatever the issues are, please fix. I’d really like to actually be able to fully use this app. Thanks!

Credit Line Increases. At first Discover was amazing. I had to get a secured card with my fair credit, but I understood that. After a year they refunded my deposit, gave me a credit line increase and made my card a regular unsecured credit card. I definitely deserved it without missing a single payment...not even a single late payment is documented. True, I made mostly only the minimum payment due most of the time, but that’s what a credit company searches for, people like me, that makes on time monthly payments where little if nothing goes to the principal. Full company profit. I spoke to customer service about getting a small credit increase but all I got was a hard inquiry on my credit report (and your commercials lie, I did not speak to a help version of myself on the other end of the phone). I think this companies deserves to give me a major credit line increase, and not so I can buy $1000’s of material objects, but with a higher credit limit my credit utilization will be lowered and get me closer to 30%, thus vastly, and with high impacts help my credit score. I say again, you advertise customer service, but I haven’t seen any positivity from this company since that first phone call telling me I’ve been approved for a insecure card because of my payment history. Once again look at my payment history, not my high credit percent utilization and 1 star will go straight to 5. Thanks

Worst Experience Ever. I apply to one of Discover Cards and I was approved with $1000 credit line. Then I was called by one agent to verify my information . I sent them my social security, driver license, proof of address among other documents. So far I was approved and my card was on the way. Then a few days later another person called me asking for the same information to be sent again and telling me that they need that again to approved my request. I thought that it was someone trying to still my identity, so I told that person that I would not send any info again and that they could close my application . Then I call discover to report that issue . They then told me that my account was close because of that call and that they ask for the same document twice and that they could not open my application again . I received my card today because they sent it and when I try to activate the card they told me that the account was close as I requested in that call and they cloud not do anything to reopen that account .

Still waiting on activation!. Two weeks after the card was sent! So this is going into my first year year of cash back! I don’t know where these other reviews are coming from but my experience with them has been horrible so far! I called and asked why it’s not activated yet and they told me “some people” have to wait for identity verification. Who are some people?! No actual answer was given. My credit score was over 700 so what’s the problem? I said I could get another card and just forget it. They said they would hit my credit score again if I canceled now. I don’t even have an active card so why hit my credit score twice! So now I’m stuck waiting. I don’t know where these other reviews are coming from but my experience so far with them has been Horrible!

Highly recommend. I was just starting to rebuild my credit and I applied for this card I put a $500 deposit after I receive my card I made a $120 purchase after everything hit the credit bureau my score jumped 78 points in one shot it let’s you make payments before your statement comes in and the app is very easy to navigate through it even has a section where it will tell you what your credit score is again I would highly recommend I’m getting ready to work on my husband‘s credit and we’re going to get him one of these also a sidenote after I got this card and made on time regular payments eight months later I got approved for a truck through GM financial you just really have to stay on top of your payments don’t use all of your available credit keep it at 20% - 30% I hope this helps

Loving Discover!!. Of course, the app is great. And you’d expect an online bank’s app to be phenomenal. But where Discover shines is their customer service. When I opened my Discover card on my 18th birthday, I was amazed by the level of customer service I received while opening the card. I was so impressed by not only the customer service but also the interest rate on their savings account, that I opened a checking and savings account and closed my accounts with my previous bank. Not having to worry about so many fees is very relieving! The only fee with their bank accounts is a wire transfer - who even does those? And even that fee isn’t as much as other banks. I see myself using Discover Bank for the majority of my banking needs for the foreseeable future, and I plan on keeping my Discover Card open forever.

Why force me to review their new app preview?. I open the app, see the summary of my balance, click on anything.... make a payment, see activity details... Can I get to what I want to see? NO! I am FORCED to see their “hey look at the new way we’re going to force you to use out system” screen. I can’t close it, I can’t go back, I can’t skip it to review later. It locks up the app unless I comply. First, why force me to review this tour of whatever fantastic way they’ve developed to navigate? Ya think it will be different than anything else I’ve seen navigating through dozens of other apps? I’ll be too stupid to figure it out without seeing their grand guide? Second, why can’t I just skip this tour I apparently cannot live without, and allow me to quickly do what I want to do.... then I can view their crap later? It may seem like a small thing but it’s not. I am sick of app developers forcing people to do things their way or else you cannot use their dictator app. The tech industry has capitalized abuse of customer data, years ago asserting they’d never do what they currently do in chasing the almighty dollar. All the security violations we constantly endure are not coincidences. It loose security so they can share/sell our data to make money. If they weren’t doing that, then it would be a lot easier to secure the data. No, I’m putting my foot down this time and not letting Discover force me to go through their crap before I can see MY DATA ON MY ACCOUNT!!!!

Best credit card ever. In total I have 15 credit cards, half of them have a limit of over $5k…. But I have never been treated so well like I have been with Discover, in my experience when you apply they’re very generous with their starting amount, minimum they give you an accurate amount according to your credit worthiness. When I first applied I was in the 680s to 690s with MyFico score system, No late payments but 1 electronic bill collection that was paid but not removed from my CR, anyway Discover started me out with $10k, and after a year’s worth of fully paid payments each month & a few payments that was $100 to $200 on top of minimum due payment they’ve increased my credit to $15k! don’t forget to take advantage of the first year no interest fees, but if possible still try to pay off your full amount each month regardless of no interest rate. But as long as you keep your account in good standing, discover will treat you good. Also it’s a excellent credit score booster. Now I’m in the mid 700s and credit cards are looking for me with pre approvals many with no hard inquiries And now I turn down credit offers!

Loving my Discover App. I'm just so in love with this app. I logged in this morning to review my credit portfolio and I'm so thrilled at the updated breakdown feature! Detailing my total revolving debt, my number of inquiries, any late payments, (in the last year verses the last 7 years!!!- WOW) among others! You know what I'm most excited about though? The fact that I know Discover is likely already working on ways to improve on this feature and I already LOVE it so much! So I'm sure I'll be blown away when another update hits. Understanding my credit portfolio is super duper important to me. I'm an AMEX employee and card holder (18 years strong and love my company 100%) but I recall when I chose to get this Discover card it was because you were the first plastic I knew of that would actually give a cardholder access to their Fico score for free! Since then every one has jumped on, but you keep reinventing the game! You're ahead by far, and while others are still showing a bare Fico score, you're giving details that are so relevant and necessary for a customer like myself. You guys are doing great and I'm a fan! ✊🏿 #DiscoverIt

Love Your customer service representative’s. I am old school I do not do my banking online I didn’t want him anything besides call my payments in on the 10th of every month and I always ask to speak to allies live customer service person because I suffered a brain injury along time ago and I cannot understand your computer and it doesn’t understand me so I always speak with a live advisor they are wonderful they’re helpful and that’s when service I hope that you will never consider getting rid of because talking to a computerized voice that says I can help you with your problem they can’t because my mind bounces from subject to subject and I have to talk to a real person to get the information I want to get in that I need so I would love to give you 10 out of 10 stars for your wonderful representatives I always enjoy speaking with them and feel wonderful after getting off the phone knowing my account has been cared for Lisa O’Mara

Discover card.. Just wanted to type a short review. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my Discover card. I’ve got excellent credit. I wish my interest rate was a little lower, considering that at one time I had a very, very hot balance and paid it off in a short amount of time and honestly, I was expecting to get my interest rate lowered after such an outstanding balance. I’ve had this card for probably 15 years I’m guessing maybe more. I I just would’ve thought with a great credit score my interest would be lower. Also, I keep my Discover account frozen and I’m glad to see that it still is. I just would’ve thought with a credit score like mine and the length of time that I’ve had this account, they would lower my interest to bit. Thanks Michael M.

Great but badges don’t show right away. I’ve always loved the Discover app, especially comparing to many other banking apps. However, a few months ago a couple of annoying bugs appeared. I’m on iPhone X iOS 12.1.4 (up to date as of right now). I also always keep my apps updated - I check for updates every night, so they download while I fall asleep. Discover doesn’t seem to have dedicated mobile app support, so I don’t know if reported bugs get submitted anywhere. 1) The badges don’t appear right away anymore. They only appear after I go in and out of the app. Tried Discover support but their solution of turning notifications off and back on doesn’t help. 2) I have three accounts: credit, checking, and savings. Now and again, when I go into the checking account, I get the “enable Face ID” screen. I have that enabled in all apps that support it. Moreover, I just logged into the app five seconds ago with the Face ID, didn’t I? Granted, it’s not as often as the phone itself telling me it needs my passcode to enable the Face ID (known issue), but it’s still annoying.

Impressive. The way this card stands out from other credit cards is top notch in every way. The arrival of the card is higher in standard. The detailed and genuine presentation of the card delivery package shows intent to retain you. The setting up process of the app is more caring of your needs and your security than other cards. The first year 2% on fuel and restaurants rewards earned match is generous and the 1% all around is appreciated as a newbie to Discover. I can go on and on but I know you will be just as impressed as you slip into the lap of luxury difference you deserve after sipping the same old taste of cards that only looked to take everything they could glitch from you. It only gets better from here. I recommend to stay awhile. I plan to as well and to trade up in the chain of Discover y. I found my cheese.

Liars. Discovery never stuck to their agreement with us, discovery never had no intentions of sticking to their agreement with us. I had medical issues had surgeries. I got behind on all of my credit cards. All of my credit card companies worked with me honored their agreements and I am 100% current with all. Discovery is the only credit card company that never honor their agreement never had any intentions of honoring there agreement. Since my surgeries I have agreed to pay a certain amount of a payment to them. I have never once been late with them. I have gone through two reviews to re-activate the card and they have denied me every time. I would not recommend this company to anyone because they are a bunch of liars. I mean come on, a small time person like me can stick to my agreement but a multi million dollar company can’t. I think it’s a disgrace. I would pick American Express or capital one over discovery any day of my life. I will tell every person in my family and my friends what a bunch of scammers they are. My grandchildren will never have a discovery card because of this.

Discover IT...Getting the card. I received my Discover IT today, it was well packaged and I was able to enable my card under 2 minutes🤝 I have a fair credit rating (around 630ish), and Discover gave me a fair chance-THANK YOU! There’s a lot of perks having this cashback card, the rewards NEVER expire people! Pay the bill by the due date, do not make any purchases till about 6 days after paying your bill! Your credit score will go up! For utilization purposes! I had no problem paying a bill minutes ago, and the phone app is greeeat! Easy, simple to follow, and simply pay your bill, Discover wants to help improve your score! How many credit card companies besides Discover do this?? Zero😃 Forget the other cards that don’t give people with fair credit a chance! Discover is 💯 % US customer service and they really are nice people!! The best simply

Lots of Functionality, Face ID Broken. This app has been very solid for a long time, and became even more functional when Discover allowed customers to merge their bank and credit card accounts so they could both be managed with one login. But all of that functionality still requires a log-in, and Face ID/Touch ID are essential for making that login process quick and easy. Over the last several months, logging in with Face ID has become impossible. The feature turns itself off. When I try to turn it on, the app tells me the feature is unavailable at this time and that they’re sorry. I once deleted and res installed the app, which allowed me to successfully turn the functionality on for a little while, but before long it turned off and wouldn’t turn on again. Once you’re logged in, the functionality is superb. But a broken log-in process really kills the ease and convenience of an app that requires signing in every time you use it. Once they finally get this crucial feature fixed, my review will go back up to 5 stars.

Forgetting the Discover Dedication Members. I have always liked using Discover, my family uses our Discover Card on anything we possibly can. I like to pay weekly on the card at a set amount and adjust accordingly every month if needed so it is paid off and I don’t have to pay any interest. I understand this may not make Discover the most money but it works very well for us. The App is so simple to use and is very nice to have. My only issue with Discover and I understand all card companies are like this. But I never see any incentive to stay with Discover. They and most other card companies always have incentives for new members but never for the dedicated members that have been with them many years. There is nothing keeping me with Discover except not wanting to deal with the aggravation of changing cards. If Discover was to offer additional cash back bonus or incentives for dedicated members, then this would be a five star rating and I would never think about changing cards again. A Discover Dedication Program simply does not exist.

Poor customer service. I am very concern d about the Fico Scoring system you use. I have a zero balance with Discover- in fact I have a zero balance with the 4 credit cards I have and never paid late or missed a payment. And yet my score dooms to drop from 835 down to 797 for no reason. You tell me it’s because I don’t have any recent loan history so much do that I finally went out and bought a car. My credit went up a little but owing that money weighed heavily on me. I started making 3 or 4 car payments a months. Instead of paying my car off in 6 years it was paid in full in 1 year 9 months. I do not like owing money…… the last time I called customer service with Discover they told me they showed a different higher score than the 797?they were reporting- they told me they sometimes used a different scoring Agency. This did not sit well with me!!! I worked hard to pay my bills on time and get the score ai have….this is not fair to your customers and unfair as well… Discover needs to fix this issue

Great app for an amazing bank. Honestly, the only thing I can think of to make the app any better would be to have more fun/personalized transaction notifications like Chime Bank. That's really it, and that would just be icing on the cake. I've used Chime, Ally, and Schwab, but Discover Bank surprised me when it turned out to be the bank that served my banking needs the best, and with a reliable and wonderfully easy-to-navigate app. I'd heard they were a great bank that offered highly rewarding accounts, and that's why I decided to open my checking and savings here. But I still hadn't anticipated just how good the overall service would be. I love the app, the customer service, and the interest rates. I've also been pleasantly surprised with how much I've actually earned with my cash back debit card even though I use my credit card for most purchases. Overall, my experience has been amazing, and I'm in it for the long run.

Sneaky practice to charge late fee. I use a bill pay service. When a bill comes, schedule the payment. Great and convenient I thought. BUT, Discover is the only card that does not allow electronic fund transfer from my bank. Twice in the last few months they claim that the payment didn’t arrive in time and charge $35! Since they don’t accept ETF, I can’t prove whether the delay was my bank, USPS, or a problem inside Discover. So, I know I can probably avoid the problem by authorizing the payment 3 days earlier than the due date. But since they don’t allow ETF, it means the bank withdraws funds 6 or 7 days early instead of the 1 day lead time for ETF. Discover ignores my complaint. They are happy to that they have robbed me of $70. A much better return than the small fee they charge the merchant. Now I understand why many merchants refuse to accept Discover Card.

Do NOT BANK WITH DISCOVER. Discover bank is a complete scam. New customer here. I deposited a check from Geico into my account. They accepted the check and closed my account. I do not have access to my funds. They say that I have to wait 60 days to get those funds back. I asked for explanation. They refused, I asked to speak with a manager, they refused. I had to talk with 4 different agents and wait 24 hours to even speak with a supervisor and they did nothing to help. That check was from Geico to get my car fixed. Now I will have to be without a car for 2 months. I called Geico for them to cancel the check but they let me know it was already seen as cashed in their system so it was nothing they could do. Everyone claims there is nothing more they can do. I am currently being ignored but I will continue to post on every social page Discover has because I will not let you all get away with this. I have also reported and filed a complaint with the BBB. This company is horrible. They do not care about their customers and I am pretty sure they are stealing money. I should have listened to the bad reviews. Please do not be like me and get scammed by this shady company.

BEST CREDIT CARD SERVICE. I have several credit cards with different companies. Of those credit cards accounts I hold, Capital One, US Bank and AMEX, Discover not only has the easiest app to navigate and use. I also discovered they also have the most wonderful customer service, especially when one of their account holders has a sudden, unforeseen situation. I am going through a nasty divorce and have been a homemaker dependent on my husband's (considerable) income for the last decade. After filing, I was suddenly being denied any temporary support until my first hearing, four months later. I panicked, and immediately contacted all my credit companies. With the only exception being Discover, every company made me feel as though I were just a lazy consumer attempting to get out of my responsibility, rather than what I actually am, a year-long account holder, with excellent credit, who has never missed a single payment. Four months later, as promised, I paid off my account. I will be a Discover card holder forever. Thank you Discover.

Worst experience. First they can’t even handle transfer cancel from stores, every time I wanted to buy something I had to get approval, then they blocked my transaction until “solved” never happened cuz they are trash, they keep asking me info, which I provided also instead of asking the info from the beginning they wait until after you use it, I never had a credit card block my transactions to check for more than a day or so, they have been nothing but a pain in the rear, I used the card for about 3 days before being blocked for over 2 months, I’ve been patient and my reward was that they perma blocked the card for use age, meanwhile I am paying for what I used and away s on time, this service is worse than trash PERIOD! The moment something goes wrong (not even my fault) they start screwing up, feels like they hire a bunch of new guys with the brain of a peanut and tell them to solve things 😒 once I pay off I never even wanna hear about the existence of this card, I just hope this idiots didn’t screw up my credit score!

Challenges and Solutions. I’ve been waiting two days for my replacement card. Finally got it this morning, upon activation after spending 45 min on phone setting up new passwords, and security pin for cash withdrawals before I even use the card. I was flagged despite all the redundant measures you employ to prevent Identity fraud! 3 phone calls with your security department the best you could do was ask me to wait for your system to reset. There has to be a way to overcome these protocols over the phone immediately when my identification is confirmed. Depending on computers to do your job is dangerous! Not being able to fix this with a human on the phone is unacceptable. I’m really disappointed. I own a business that depends on me and my mind, experience, and customer service. Remember when that was America! What happened? When did the ability for humans to solve challenges become not enough? Start today one customer at a time . You guys can do this.. You don’t have to solve all your challenges in one day, just break it down one at time. We are capable of so much more than any computer program . We put a man on the moon. Remember that. Bomb diggity. :)

Solid app has everything I need. Very clear, concise, easy to pay off my credit card, Touch ID login; it has everything I need.

Doesn’t allow future pay date. Won’t allow a date other than today to be entered. Come on Discover Card - fix your app! I've landed the latest update and you still haven't fixed this problem. Does it on both iPhone and iPad.

Love Discover Card. Great App, Great Website - service exceptional when (seldom) I call them. Credit increases on the fly. Keep on keeping on!

Nice user interface. I think the design team has finally defeated chase... congratulations

Best credit card app. This app makes monitoring and paying your balance seamless. You can do everything and review everything from your phone. No need to even leave your home.

I mean when it works it’s fine. App is super buggy, setup was a pain. Customer support was nice though and eventually it did work.

Discover Card. Excellent customer service. Not much penetration in the markets outside USA. I am NOT happy that they took advantage of recent changes to The Consumer Protection ACT and instituted mandatory arbitration of disputes and banned class actions by customers. What is wrong with the court system? It almost makes one suspect that they might try some unethical stuff like Wells Fargo did. I surely hope not. They have been very good to me but I am NOT a fan of compulsory arbitration between individuals and large corporations.

Excellent app!!. I love the instant transaction update!!

Fast and functional. Great site people! Discover the difference!

International Wire on mobile doesn't work. International wire transfer functionality on the mobile app never worked for me...

Discover App. Pretty Good

SERGIO MASSAGLIA. Good morning, I like Discover and the structure organized for the cardholders, but my line of credit is too small in order for me to use the card constantly.

So far so good. Good app. Provide full functionalities. Very convenient.

Best ever app I have used. Very easy to use , and it has everything you need and also give you alerts of fraud and credit score

Perfect Bank!. Let me just preface this by saying, you can’t go wrong with Discover. Excellent products, EXCELLENT customer service (best I’ve had when it comes to banks), and their checking and savings are great with decently high interest rates. The 3 star is more of a cry for help with the app (so this rating will definitely get up to a 5 star if and when this issue is fixed). The app tends to reset its Face ID login every so often, but it seems pretty random. Been using it again for a few weeks with no issue, and this morning it asked if I wanted to enable Face ID (it was already enabled) which forces you to out in your pin. Okay, fine. So I login with my pin and now it’s asking if I want to enable Face ID. I do, so I chose to enable. It sat there loading for about 2 full min and then said there was an error. Can this be looked into? iPhone XS Max with most recent iOS update.

Discover is a great card!. I’ve had discover for more than 10 years and like the 0% balance transfers offered from time to time. No annual fees either. I also use Amex Gold a lot, but I recently discovered the more cash back offers so I will be using Discover more often. I normally don’t carry much of a balance unless it’s at 0% since the interest rate is higher. For purchases I want to pay over time I use my NFCU fixed rate 5.49% card that has a 34,500 limit as well. My limit with discover is 10k on the it and 12k on the more so I rarely use more than 30% of my limit unless traveling or larger expenses that I plan to pay off quickly. I rarely need to call but if I do customer service is outstanding!

Fantastic. Discover card and Discover personal loans are the best creditors that I have dealt with in a long time. I have been with Capital One for many years, and have had up to 7, yes 7 credit cards with Cap One at a time in my life, with them merging and buying companies out, and with all the payments I have given Cap One, they have never to this day gave me any special treatment. In fact, I still after many many years continue to have to pay an annual fee, instead of closing the accounts so it doesn’t effect my score. Discover has given me 0% interest 2 different times when I truly needed it. Also the interest on their loans is very competitive. Thank you Discover card. Very satisfied customer for life

Best customer service, needs more benefits tho. I know my title is a little weird… but hear me out. I applied to Discover for a credit card my first year being at college. I was alone hundreds of miles from home and just starting to learn about personal finance. In my studies (always do your own), I found that Discover had a ton of good things being said about it… so I applied. In the years since then, I have loved being able to use my card. I have loved it because I know if I EVER had an issue, some very kind person would help… and they have! Every. Single. Time! The app is pretty well built as well!! My only gripe is with the company itself; I just wish that the card held more benefits than just a “high” cash back. Luggage insurance, purchase protection, Netflix, anything. I love the concept of cash back match… but it’s only for a year. 5% cash back is cool… but if I can get 1-3% + peace of mind on a business trip, knowing I’m covered if theft or accident occurs… is such a good feeling. If discover had something like that, I would have no reason to be elsewhere. Overall get a discover card if you don’t have one. They have a good website and app, great service too.

Needs better login experience and speed!!. If you're on an iPhone with face ID and you want to use the app to find an ATM, then you're bound to have a hard time. You need to login and logout to come back to the screen to search for an ATM. The app instantly wants to read your face and log you in and because of the design you need to log back out to find an ATM. Because I hate logging in and out to find an ATM, I simply just dont use the face ID feature to log in (I sadly had to disable that feature to avoid the frustration). Maybe add a step to give users a choice to log in when they get into the app. Secondly, the app is SOO slow! Going from one window to another, one account to another is incredibly slow and frustrating. It gets worse on mobile data.

There when you need it, but also Not there when you don’t. Explaining below-. I like that it has a decent interest-rate and no annual fee, so when you need the card it’s there and you can use it and then pay it off. But you also aren’t needlessly spending money on something that you’ve already addressed with the one time opening of the card. Why am I spending money on something every year? You aren’t with this card! So: it’s Not there when you don’t need it! Get it!? One of those unnoticeable things that’s just nice. Accepted all over, easy online and app use. Good communication when you call in for any reason. And seems to have great security too. The points system is good, I like it.

0 Stars!!!!. They dinged my credit after they rescinded my approval. They put me out of the green, literally. Now I’m below the threshold for good credit. Thanks for nothing! There’s a reason why capitalism is dying. Here ya go! It’s a corrupt system. They put unreasonable remarks on my report yet I can’t see it. I should be able to respond on something so important. But strangers in an undisclosed location have access to my credit and control my financial freedom by owning my credit liberty. Isn’t that slavery? I’m in chains bound to the credit machine with limited upward mobility. We’re little mice looking for cheese, and they keep shaking the table. Nothing is more corrupt than the US credit/debt system. It’s very sophisticated so it looks clean. But under the surface is the iceberg. Discover card simply CAPITALIZES on the scam that has fooled the world. They’re horrible. They messed up my credit that I worked hard to rebuild bcuz they changed their minds like dummies. But I’m sure VISA/MC is just as bad. They own us all. I am Jack’s rage

New Widget Perpetually Offline?. The new widget (finally iOS 14 updated) looks like it would be great — if it worked. I have it turned on, but it tells me the widget is offline. The old widget is apparently also available still, and that worked previously but now also says it’s offline. I’ve toggled the quick view widget off and back on in the app and it doesn’t change this issue. Other than that, this app is great! Some of the transitions are a bit rough, not as smooth as expected on iOS, but it functions well and that’s rare for a finance app in my experience. So I’m glad for that. I do wish, however, that it was easier to see how much I’ve spent in my current credit cycle — right now it shows me a total balance only, including my past cycle up until that bill is paid. Both stats are important to have.

Shady Business practices. im feeling very betrayed by the shady business practices implemented by this bank regarding my auto pay. I was not told that auto payments do not clear on saturdays. As a result, when I called to see what was going on with my account the customer service person told me to make a payment over the phone, unaware that it would clear today. Now, the payment has been taken out of my chase college bank account twice. A problem that I always seem to run into with discover. Always finding a way to rob their customers. I was then told that I should just purchase something from a grocery store and do cash back option to get it back but I would lose money and it would raise my credit card balance with them in the process. I am sick of the shady practices they are using to manipulate me into letting my money be stolen. Worst bank ever. I cannot wait to switch to a better bank to start my new credit card with. Discover is not trustworthy at all.

Two issues. I love discover, but the app has two issues I can’t ignore. Face ID does not work no matter how many times I refresh the app or change the settings. It’s an added step to type my password, and it’s frustrating. The only other issue I’ve faced is that any Zelle transaction I make takes 2-3 business days. Um, no that's called an EFT. Zelle is supposed to be instantaneous. I called customer service and all they did was confirm that it was processing for 3 business days. I won’t be using Zelle again, it’s Venmo now from here on out for me. Other than that, I do love discover. They have the friendliest customer service out of any bank I’ve used, and the wait times on the phone have never been more than 5 minutes max. Love my bank!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Started out by locking my account several times before I could even get money deposited. Weren’t clear with the steps that needed to be taken. I deposited a check that was a small amount from the job I’ve been working at for 6 months. It’s reputable company that has been around for 35 years and always distributes paper checks I have never had any issues depositing them with any other bank discover put a 10 day hold on the check after telling me that if I waited until my account had been open for 30days the money would be available immediately. Than it was frozen without any notification and I had to wait again. After waiting and contacting them to unfreeze my acccount they told me that it had been shut down and I couldn’t get my money bank unless I talked with the bank that had issued it. This bank is terrible for debit account you’d be better off using your mattress.

Very misleading. First time I looked up this card they made it seem like it was 5% cash back on everything. Too good to be true right? Fair enough, then I thought you could choose a category for 5% cash back. Nope, they set it and I remember reading it was unlimited cash back with 100% match for the first year. Again NOPE. They set the cash back category, and it’s only $75 max per quarter. I didn’t find any of this out until after I got the card and set up an account. Not to mention it took much longer to even get the card than expected and they had to send a second one because the first one never arrived. Just be upfront and transparent about your rewards. I would have much rather gotten a 3% cash back card or something else. I thought this would have higher rewards, but if that’s why you are getting this card I suggest going elsewhere. Very disappointed and feel very misled. Please just be more upfront so I am better enable to make an educated decision.

~Christine

Excellent customer service.. I recently applied for and received a new Discover Card. (Touchless). I accidentally misplaced the card , and with all the fraud and theft prevalent, the Discover App allowed me to immediately “freeze”my card until I could find it. When my search was fruitless I called DISCOVER, verified my ID and ordered a new card. The associate was amazing , personable and searched for any new charges(none) and arranged for a new card to be delivered the next day to a temporary address where I was staying. Wonderful service!!Discover is my new favorite card. With the app you can arrange for automatic payments, see when they were posted and NEVER have to worry about a late payment. Oh. And I found the card stuffed under my car console :). Stay safe everyone

Hasn’t worked for months. Opens and immediately minimizes while continuing to run in the background.. It’s closing in on a year (at least May of 2022) since I was last able to use the iPhone app. After an initial couple months of the app opening and then immediately closing, and with me trying to resolve by deleting the app, restarting the phone, etc., I contacted support. While support tried to be helpful but having me do/test much of what I’d already been doing troubleshooting, their last instruction was to wait a couple days. It’s been 4 months and still nothing. I can see from an internet search that I’m far from the only one experiencing this problem. This clearly isn’t a priority for Discover so neither is using the Discover card. My credit card use has been going elsewhere since this started and the odds of it returning diminish each day. Well done Discover, congratulation on no longer being in my wallet.

Mobile app version 9.7.5. I have been using the Discover Mobile App with my iPad for about 9 months with no huge issues. There’s been a few glitches, but nothing terrible....till now. Im not able to view any of my statements for my ebills or even see the statement balance for various credit cards I need to pay! To make things worse, now when I go to the main website for Discover, to avoid using the app, I’m automatically brought to my mobile app! This makes it impossible to pay/view certain bills at all, unless I remove the mobile app from my device! I’m an iPad user, and appreciate the convenience of paying my bills, checking balances, statements, etc. with the mobile app. Now, there is no mobile app for the iPad user that can do what the previous versions did. Very disappointing. When I called tech support, they were very little help, and I’m not not too sure the problem was completely understood! This is such a step backward for Discover.

Amazing card for rebuilding credit. My credit has been tanked for the last 10 yrs for Student Loan Debt and even though I make really good money and pay my bills, I could only get approved for a secured card. My due diligence while researching which card to use, has paid off tremendously!! The reviews I read about Discover secured card have so far proved trustworthy and real. I’ve only had my card 6 months and my credit has jumped to 650!! It may be fair to some but it’s a huge milestone for me and I’m grateful I took this chance with them! 😊if you are trying to decide if this card will live up to your hopes and needs, YESSSSS! Best financial move I’ve made and give SUPER praise and hugs to all the Discover team for the chance to finally be and adult.

Multiple profiles. Please allow an option for more than one profile such as if me and my wife has different accounts with different passwords . You can check out the capital one app it does this extremely well and it would be a great addition to the discover card app . Thank you. ********new version a few days back***** Please please please go back to the way it was. I had set up some transfers on my account and so I logged in and it was so nice to see the credit card and bank all on one page . WITH THE SUPER SUPER AWFUL PROBLEM THAT THERE WERE NO TRANSFERS AND THE EXTERNAL ACCOUNT WAS NOT EVEN LINKED . Same account everything showed up EXCEPT THE MAIN THING THE TRANSFERS AND THE EXTERNAL ACCOUNT SOMETHING ABOUT SINGLE SIGN IN OR SOME MESS . So I thought the transfers were not happening WRONG they were on the other sign in . THIS WILL NOT WORK IT ALMOST CAUSED SOME SERIOUS OVERDRAFTING . If it if the account and the balance shows up then the stinking transfers have to show up as well . Please fix this or go back to the way it was where you just picked bank or card it was working just fine!!!!!

App freezes and customer service is not helpful. App will freeze during payment, still records what you’ve done but is time stamped for when it went threw not the time actually done. Turned off my Wi-Fi and just used data thinking that was the reason for the delay. Nope. Still shows me logging in and making a payment over an hour after I actually did. Which meant I had 2 payments taken out and customer service refused to correct the issue but could issue a refund after it cleared my account that would take 3-7 days. Then, I could do everything else on the app, but when I was in the middle of explaining the issue to customer service on the chat I was kicked out. Everything BUT the chat would open. Thankfully my bank was able to stop payment of the 2nd payment on their end. When I finally got back into the chat to explain that and ask if they could simply void the 2nd payment instead of the refund they offered, I was kicked out again.

Great customer Service. I lost all my user ids and password information, and I had to call customer Service who turned me over to website help. Apple lost all my data and I am still waiting For them to restore it properly. They should try taking some lessons from Discover. You speak to USA Reps who are Patient and extremely helpful and my problem was solved immediately, not three To four weeks later. I understand these things Happen, but I made an appt. with Apples So called Genius Bar. When I got to the Store in the middle of a Pandemic, I was told They had no tech help available and the were Only selling products. I had to purchase A Samsung phone to get phone calls. Apple has forgotten business 101. They should try and behave more like Discover. I was hung up on, cut off, and when some Data was finally restored it was my wife’s On my I pad. So now I get all her phone Calls and that’s a ton. Worse is the texts Don’t stop coming in. I can’t delete the data because that will Put her in my position. APPLE, TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM DISCOVER ON HOW TO TREAT YOUR CUTOMERS OF MANY YEARS. YOU WONT HAVE ANY IF YOU CONTINUE TO OUTSOURCE YOUR TECHS TO MONGOLIA OR SOME THIRD WORLD COUNTRY WHERE THE HAVE NO INCENTIVE TO REALLY TRY HARD TO HELP YOU.

App is terrible unstable, support not much help.. The app crashes all the time. There’s often times that you try something on the app or web portal and Discover tells you the feature is not working. It could be any random feature such as changing your notification settings or even logging in. Mostly recently I cannot access my account online due. Support said try again in 24 hours. What kind of banking institution has a 24 hour SLA? That is unacceptable. I asked support if they could email me or call me when the issue was resolved. They offered no method other than to tell me to try again in 24 hours. Shortly after the login started working with no change on my end. It has been spotty on and off. I have even received intermittent emails saying they do no have any contact information for me when I login despite all my contact information is in the system. When this happens it prompts you to call support and does not allow you to login. This seems to be an intermittent issue because something this pops up and sometimes I am allowed to change the settings on my end. My impression is they have many technical issues on their end and have an issue with QA as the error messages and issues are intermittent and do not appear to be anything on my end. Good luck Discover bankers, I am not sure I would trust my money somewhere where my funds are not available. Discover’s uptime is woeful.

Loving My Discover Cards. I’ve had my Discover Cards for over a year. I am more than pleased that I took my grandaughters to New York last year around this time and think back to the shopping, purchasing of discount tickets, museums, Broadway shows, tours of the city, great meals and the splurge, which was 1 night in a Manhattan hotel. Discover will forever be in those memories. The zero percent interest for the first year with the brown Discover card was heaven. I now have a blue Discover card for reimbursable business expenses. And, last but not least, the convenient tracking of my credit score on the app allowed me to play a new game and I won!!! I raised my credit score 70 points since the NY trip. It’s now well over the 720 target I was shooting for! What a joy!!! Thanks Discover!!!

They’re the best. I remember 18 years ago, I had problems with my finances. I had a bunch of cards I couldn’t pay them. Everybody gave me a hard time except for Discover. They would send me letters knowing I had money issues. They never gave me a hard time at all and at the end I gave up and let my credit go to the toilet. Well just a few years ago, I got older and understood how important good credit is. They gave me a 2nd chance and now I bought a house and I will never screw them over again. I have a few credit cards again and they are my best card of them all. I love them and thank you for my Golden Knight card. For now on, if someone talks bad about them, I will defend y’all and brag about how awesome Discover is... Thank you for giving me a 2nd chance.

Random credit limit decrease. A couple months ago my credit limit was suddenly decreased without an explanation. To this day, I still have not been notified as to why my limit was decreased. A limit decrease of just a couple hundred dollars would not have been a big deal to me, but when I realized the drop was $1,500 I was initially devastated. My payment history with Discover is/was flawless as I am quite obsessive when it comes to all of my open credit card accounts. Maybe I wasn’t using enough of my limit so they decided to take 3/4 of it back. I don’t know. I feel if only I had been notified prior to the decrease that I needed to start using it more, I could have made the adjustment and used it much more often. Give people a simple heads up, Discover!

I really want to love this app…. …but constant bugs and glitches make it so hard to truly love. The app comes with many great features, however, they don’t consistently work. For example, how many times do I have to re-enable FaceID to quickly log in? I’ll log in, click the remember button, and enable FaceID in settings, then a few logins later, the app will prompt me to enable FaceID from the login screen. So, I’ll go to settings to turn FaceID back on, tap on the switch, and the switch will turn back off. I’ll keep tapping the switch on and I turns itself back off. Other times, I’ll get a notification that FaceID is “currently unavailable”. How is a built-in feature on the iPhone that works in every other app around the same timeframe “currently unavailable” in just this app?! Also, even if FaceID is working, the app takes several moments to actually log you in. With the latest iPhone and 120 mb/s Internet, this seems particularly slow compared to other apps.

Heartless company. This is the worst credit card company. I’ve call more than 7 times to resolve 1 issue. They got no payment plan for people going through hardship. I was told I am set up on a payment plan when it’s time to pay my bill my minimum payment increase and when I call back I was told a payment plan was not set up. I am a responsible individual I’ve never missed a payment. I called and explain I am 6 months pregnant and was sent home from my job since December 21, 2021. I requested a transfer and I’m still waiting I just need a payment plan and some patience since I always pay on time and have been with them for a while. All I’ve gotten I run arounds, a different story every time I spake with someone different. The more I pay the more interest charge goes on so I’m paying for interest charges and late fee’s not my bill!! It’s frustrating and stressful especially now in my pregnant state. These people have no heart and compassion. I feel I am gonna have a early delivery because of them.

Discover has changed. I’ve used Discover as my primary credit card for years. I've always been happy with their customer service, and that’s why I use them. Now they have made it hard to file a dispute online. I recently had several issues and called them. Unlike prior times, I spent 20 minutes on hold, talked to a customer service representative, and got disconnected. I called again, the same routine. 20 minutes on hold, spoke to someone, he tried to transfer me to the fraud department, and again I was disconnected. After that, I sent a message asking that a supervisor call me, and got a message from a supervisor saying that they are not allowed to return calls. He did ask if this was about a $10 charge I wanted to dispute. Someone has hacked my card, and I have a lot more than the $10 charge to discuss. I’ve always loved Discover, but if this is how they are going to treat me, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Zelle. I have been using discover online banking for a while and today my Zelle just stopped working. It’s telling me to enroll. When I click enroll again it’s saying my number is already linked to Zelle. So I called the bank and spoke to more than 8 customer services rep. Some are in Georgia, others in Meryl and and other in Utah and Arizona and and I was so surprised how rude their workers are on the phone. Just first they want me to give them my full social security # and full account number on the phone even though I verified my social with their automated system, they still want it again and none of them could help me. Only one rep from Georgia who said they’re going account maintenance and she couldn’t help me. At least she was honest the moment she answered the phone and said sorry currently we are undergoing system maintenance. My phone number is only linked Zelle using discover bank. So I don’t get why it’s telling me to enroll again.

Fantastic experience. I received my Discover card today and I loved the box it came in. It reminded me of getting my first Apple iPhone. I immediately felt I was part of something “special.” In fact, everyone I have dealt with has been special. My phone captains have all had top notch customer service skills, a la a five-star hotel. The incredible Kristen opened my account on April 27 and the fabulous Emily from Phoenix registered me for my Cash Rewards on May 8. And best of all, I can call 24-7 if I’m a wee bit lonely. I think hearing those friendly upbeat voices may even be better than using my new card wherever I go. Thank you Discover and keep on surprising customers like me with your attention to all the little details that bring a smile in these really trying times!

Customer Service listens. I’ve been a Discover customer for about 4 years or so. A few months ago there was an app update that changed the user interface to look nicer, but the issue was that when you looked at your recent transactions you could not longer see the totals of your pending transactions, as well as your posted transactions. I reached out to customer support about it and they said they appreciated my feedback and for letting them know the features I would want in the app. A few weeks later they brought back these totals in the new interface! I’m not sure if I had any influence on that decision, or if it was a bug, or if enough people complained about it, but I’m glad that they addressed my concerns and made the app better.

Wonderful credit card company !. I only signed up with discover originally because I had received a promotion in the mail. But to be honest I have been happiest with discover over a few other companies I’m with. For one they give u the increase in credit u need when u need it. I don’t feel discover is out to make on its cuStomers with interest or annual fees as other card companies I think do. They also have wonderful customer service; anytime I’ve had an issue which has only Been twice with this card they have resolved it No questions asked. And one of the times it was a purchase of mine just under an odd transaction name, but they looked into it and then told me what it was. I just over all would recommend discover credit card to anyone. :)

Discover Rocks!!!. Discover has really helped me build my credit and build my savings!!! I started with a security deposit of $200 back in February and they raised my credit in September to $1,000 and returned my security deposit Too me! This is the first credit card I’ve had and I’ve made all of my payments on time, and it’s really been helping my credit. The cash back is fantastic and it’s nice to put towards my credit card payments. I also have opened 3 discover savings account, they’re really handy because you can label them and deposit money from your checking straight into your discover savings. I’d recommend if you’re saving for a house to use a discover savings account because it’s really helpful and prevents you from getting easy access to your money which helps you save more.

Disappointed in the cash back details. I am disappointed that the cash back is only for certain things and those things change every few months. Also, you have to be sure to remember to log into your account and activate the cash back rewards each time the change occurs (and you can’t go ahead and do it early…you HAVE to wait until it allows you to activate it), otherwise you will not get the rewards, even if you used your card to purchase things that qualify for cash back that month. I also didn’t realize that the cash back match was ONLY for the first 12 months of becoming a new card holder. So a bit disappointed about that as well. One more thing…I didn’t realize that Costco does not accept Discover…so I won’t be getting any points/rewards when I spend money there. I do like that I get SOME rewards points at least…and I also like the app. I find it to be visually pleasing and easy to navigate. I also quite like my physical card. I chose the cassette tape style and I think it’s super cute and nostalgic. I also like that when I called customer service…I spoke to someone that I could easily understand and she was very nice and had great customer service.

Secured Card. It has been 11 months and my card has not graduated to an unsecured card. I have never missed a payment and have been paying my bill in full for over 6 of the 11 months. When I contact discover to get information on when my card would be eligible to graduate to an unsecured card I get mixed information every time. They say they review it starting after the 7 month mark and review all your accounts on your credit report. That seems weird because all my accounts are paid in full every month and I don’t even carry a balance on any of them. I don’t recommend this card for anyone trying to build credit. The timeline just seems to be unreal. I have 3 credit cards on my report that I’ve never missed a payment on and that I pay in full every month and don’t carry a balance on for almost as long as the qualifying 7 month billing cycle. If your looking for a good secure credit card to build credit with I would recommend capital one secure card. It is what they advertise with no games or red tape.

Could be Faster. I want to preface this review by conveying how much I love Discover. First off, they have 100% US-based customer service - which has been exceptional every time I’ve had to contact them over the years. They review my account every year which usually results in a credit limit increase and their rewards are excellent. I love being a Discover customer! However, I took off a star because the app lags quite a bit sometimes. It can lag when logging in and for some reason my checking account won’t reflect many transactions until days after they’ve been made. When I was banking with Wells Fargo (so glad I’m not with them anymore) their app was super fast and transactions would be reflected within minutes of making them. That’s my main gripe, the layout and everything else is great.

Thank you!

Best app and service ever. Never liked credit cards simply because of unavoidable hassles at some point. This was seriously the easiest thing ever with discover. Unfortunately my issue required a phone call not just app messaging (which is also amazing). The lady on the phone even told me she’d get me a direct line because it was taking too long after maybe 3-4 minutes. I was in awe. Within another couple minutes my problem was resolved and a brand new card of the color of my choice was at my house high in the Rockies within a week. Discover should be a model company for everyone. Never thought I’d see the day a credit card company is more ethical than the president of the United States.

A faithful friend is Discover to me!. Discover is an ethical outstanding customer service creditcard company. I love this company and value the amazing workmanship involved in making people’s lives less stressful when life gets tough!!!! This company has a 5-star rating in my book all the years I have been privileged to have their card as my tool to pay my bills and solve life’s challenges and problems. The integrity and honesty has been so important to me and I hope they never lower their standards. People matter to Discover that is why they are doing so well. Also the website is always so easy to navigate and so many great services. I always enjoy stopping in to see you. Thank you for being my friend Discover I love you!

Unbelievable Customer Service. This review is more so for the company as a whole rather than just this application because besides the fact that they have some of the best credit cards, their customer service is exceptional. When I called the number there was 0 wait time and no answering machine, just a happy customer service representative. I have to say I was actually surprised to hear an actual person speaking before an answering machine. Upon confirming my birthday, which was 2 weeks prior to the call, the representative congratulated me on my 18th birthday, which almost made my day. Then she proceeded to perfectly answer my questions and lay out an easy solution to my problem. The experience was honestly good enough to write this review, because I never go as far as actually writing one.

Horrible company. I applied for a discover card and was approved. Received it promptly and activated it. I used it without an issue at a retail store and received a call shortly thereafter. It had been locked because I needed to verify my identity. I printed the form, took it and had it notarized and uploaded it back to discover. That wasn’t good enough. They wanted me to go to a second notary. Everything was legal and I jumped through all their hoops but they still had it locked and insisted I go and get a second notary. I work, have school and don’t have time to run all over trying to find notaries. They are usually gone by the time I’m out of school or done with work. All of this should have been required before the card was issued. I have never been treated so badly by a company in my life and their responses are all generic. They don’t care. I’m sorry if using it at a grocery store was offensive. I would never recommend to anyone. This company was spawned by Sears and we see where they are now. Beware before applying.

Too Much Information On Account Summary. If you look at all the pictures for the app preview there is one aspect missing, which I think is the worst of them all. The account viewing page for this app is not good. If you look at every other banking app the home page has smaller boxes with only the amount and account name showing, which makes navigation much easier. If you have more than two accounts with discover you have to scroll down to find balances and there is no easy way to tell which account you are looking at (card pictures, headers, nicknames, etc.). I loved my two discover cards, but after the match period ended they didn’t do anything special for me, but if Discover cleaned up the UI a bit on their app I would consider coming back as a checking and savings customer. I just find current apps much easier to use and more pleasing to the eye.

Action on Account: Check Deposit on Hold. Now lemme just say off the bat, for the most part this is a great bank. You get a good amount of cash back with your checking and savings account and there are not many fees at all. Overall I feel discover is a much better choice compared to a traditional bank. HOWEVER, make sure that you have a back up bank that is physical BECAUSE it is an awful idea to post a check with discover. In fact do not ever ever ever deposit your check with discover bank. Just use your backup bank and take it into the store. The reason for this is because I deposited a check on November 30th in the app, and I got an email saying that those funds would NOT BE AVAILABLE until NOV 14TH!!! Out of the $150 of the check they only gave me access to $10 and held the other $140 causing my account to hit $0 and put me into overdraft! SO AGAIN I STRESS , DO NOT EVER DEPOSIT A CHECK WITH THIS COMPANY or you will be disappointed.
