Frustrated. Please please please Oticon give us some options and fix the connectivity issues. I can't get a TV connection even though my tv says its paired. I don't have an issue pairing with an iPhone.

Oticon ConnectLine App. The app does not see my bluetooth connected Streamer Pro 1.2. I have not been able to get the app to work. Clicked on app support and got send to a promotional page. Tried to Report a Problem, same result. I cannot find anything anywhere online to resolve by issue.

Stopped connecting with Streamer. The app worked at first, but now it won't connect with Streamer no matter what I do.

Needs an update or replacement. This app was last updated in December, 2016. At that time it worked. iOS has been updated 2-3 times since then, each time making this app lose functionality until it doesn't work at all. Oticon keeps promising that their tech support will get back to me but they never do. Now my Streamer Pro is useless because of this software and there is nothing I can do about it. In my opinion, if they can't fix or replace the software, they should let me return the useless hardware.

Solution to the problem. Recently purchased an iPhone 7. The first issue I had was my Streamer Pro would connect and disconnect. It would also drop called as well. I though oh no, now what am I going to do. Went back to the store I bought the phone and they couldn't help. Went to apple store tech support. They couldn't help either. I was starting to think I may have to go back to an iPhone 5 which I know works. I called my Audiologist who got me in right away. She called Oticon support. Oticon is aware of the problem. There is a fix though. My Audiologist downloaded updated software to my Streamer Pro. You need V 1.3 loaded. She also dowloaded the 3 hearing programs again to my Streamer. I in turn needed to re-pair my Streamer with my TV and Computer. Everythng is working perfectly again. Follow my lead and you too will get the problem fixed. It requires your Audiologist to download new software V 1.3

Simply doesn't work. I have used streamer pro for more than a year. It's a simple Bluetooth device. It works great most of the time. I thought this app might be a convenient interface but it doesn't do anything. I still love my Oticon system. I just removed the app

Disconnecting. 4 years after the known issue with this streamer and yet still nothing resolved. This is crucial to my job as a deaf person and it’s effecting my performance. Please fix the issue.

Doesn't work. As all the other reviewers are saying, this app doesn't do anything. My iPhone 5s is connected via Bluetooth and both music and phone mode work with my connectline streamer. The only thing I can discern is that my streamer is version 1.4

Never did and Still doesn't work. I have the streamer pro and the latest version firmware and when I open the app it still does not recognize my paired iPhone 6 Plus and will not let me go any further. I paid a lot of money for my hearing aids and for my streamer and would love to use it with the app. You would think with all the great technology that they use in the hearing aids they would have the capability to make an app that actually works. It seems they must not look at the reviews or they would have the incentive to fix this app. I guess I am probably wasting my time hoping for a fix.

Needs Work!. There is always a problem with the App. Every time Apple upgrades software, the Bluetooth toggle doesn't work. I have deleted and reinstalled, and that doesn't work. For the $6,000 I paid for hearing aids, I sure expected better service...

Is the best!!!. I don't understand why people say it doesn't work, this app works great and pairing it was extremely easy!!! This even shows the battery life for the streamer!!! I'm only 12 and got it to work!!! Love it a lot! How to pair: 1. Press and hold the power button until a blue light starts blinking. 2. The iPhone or iPad should pick up the signal while trying to pair with it. If it was paired, the light should turn a solid blue. 3. After the pairing is finished, go to the app and turn on Bluetooth (on the streamer) 4. Enjoy the app!!!!

Total waste. Dear Oticon. How can you develop such a wonderful hearing aid and not develop an App that would make your hearing aids the clear cut market leader. I tested 2 competitor models for a month each and found each had highly functional Apps and one was spectacular. The ability to customize sound settings and easily toggle preset programs with an App should be standard feature functionality. Come on let's get with it...for the price we pay your customers are expecting more.

TOTALLY USELESS APP!!!. Downloaded this app and it did absolutely nothing but give directions to link your phone to the streamer pro, which, if you have a streamer pro, you already know how to connect to it. Once you open the app all it shows is two buttons. One for directions (as stated above) and a second button for a "Demo", which does nothing. Nothing else!! It is totally USELESS.

Works great!!. I'm sorry for the folks that are having trouble with the APP. It works good for me the trouble is with the function of Bluetooth itself. One has to be skilled in switching multiple Bluetooth sources with one device. When switching between my iPhone and my Mac I sometimes have to fool my iPhone into not being visible and the same with my TV device. The APP works fine but Bluetooth can be frustrating. I wish I could help others. It would have to be a computer class like I ran at the Community Colleges for Seniors.

Please Fixit. Works great, then it quits. Then starts again. Then in the middle of a call quits again. This started with OS 9. Oticon please fix it.

fix the problem. I use the Oticon Streamer Pro 1.3 to connect to my iPhone 6. I had problems with with my streamer connecting to my iPhone. After updating the Ios my Streamer has dropped calls, switched from the streamer to the Iphone in the middle of the call, and it would also start streaming music. After several weeks of trying to get Oticon to respond and a visit to my Audiologist. I found out the problem was with that new Ios was causing these problems. Is there anyone at Apple that is aware of these problems. It is very annoying that Oticon has known about these problem but will not share this vital information with the users of their products

Oticon just can’t seem to keep up. None of the selections in the app configuration menu function as specified. Now, I can’t control call or streaming volume from my phone. I have to do it via the app, which is locked on a certain screen during a call. Running 1.3.1-always keep app versions current. Now checking with oticon directly to see if there’s a firmware update for the streamer unit. The streamer and app have consistently not functioned well in the 2 1/2 years I’ve been using. Have swapped streamer units also.

Streamer synced, but app won't recognize. The promise of the app seems great, but like other reviewers listing here, I haven't been able to get it to recognize the streamer -- though the streamer seamlessly syncs with music and phone service on my iPhone 6+. I wonder if the app is having difficulty recognizing the recently updated firmware (1.3.x) on my streamer. At any rate, it's disappointing. And I'm not a technological neophyte, as some other successful reviewers have suggested.

Pricing Streamer & iPhone Issue. Oticon needs to work with Apple to resolve this issue. I have read the prior reviews plus what I have seen in the Apple Community. My only reason for have Oticon was because of the Bluetooth capability with iPhone. Oticon needs to stay current and provide a means of getting firmware updates to users who have a streamer. I believe there is an alternative that my audiologist wants me to try out that has Bluetooth capability. It is not Oticon. Maybe it is time for me to invest in a new hear aid and streamer type appliance that is not Oticon. Apple will continue to upgrade. I think Oticon needs to get up to speed or get off the playing field.

Giving it Five Star. I have iPhone 8 Plus this is definitely work for me. Because when somebody call you on he phone couldn’t hear people from background only on the phone. Also I have ConnectLine Tv Adaptor it so amazing..

Keeps turning on and off since iOS 9 update please fix. Please fix this problem

Volume control goes out. I had this app with my 8-plus and it worked great. Now with my 11 the volume control stops and I consistently have to restart my phone or try and control it from the app. I can’t always do that. Please fix this. I need it to work

Piece of dump. The cheap owners of this wretched little company charge a ton for equipment they won’t update. When the Bluetooth is on and the device is on (and noticed by the iPhone) it won’t line up for music. On the 6th Thursday of the month, sometimes it will Work on a day when Trump isn’t tweeting and Hillary has a clue. In other words, PIECE OF DUMP.

Poor service. Wow paid a lot for my streamer and the app won't work. One would think that with a device sold to pair with and iPhone they would make sure their app worked.

Used to work. With my iPhone 5s but disconnects and reconnects constantly with my 6s. The streamer costs way too much for this terrible app. I expect more from a product this expensive.

I like it. It works very good I would only recommend one change. If possible show how much life is left in the hearing aid batteries

Completely bewildered. Today is the third day with my new Oticon Alta hearing aids and I absolutely loved them, however I am unable to get this app to work with my 5s. The streamer is working fine on phone calls and streaming other audio, but when I try to switch from demo mode in the app and consistently shoots me back out to the opening screen with a message that says unable to connect to streamer please make sure your streamer is powered on. There is no way to bypass this and no way to get support. In fact I have not been able to find any support from Oticon other than through the audiologist. Oticon, your hearing aids are fantastic, the best I have demoed. But if you do not fix this app before my trial period is up, I will return the hearing aids and the streamer to continue my search for a workable solution.

Won’t work with Oticon Medical streamers. Okay, so I got the new streamer to work on my iPad and it I can hear everything on my iPad but the app doe NOT work! What am I doing wrong? UPDATE: I just spoke to the Oticon Medical rep and she told me that the app will not work with Oticon Medical streamers - only Oticon streamers.

Junk. If I could give this zero stars I would. Used to be awesome product until iOS 9.3.2 came out. Constant dropped connectivity. My car and work phone Bluetooth never drops connectivity but calls from iPhone randomly will drop Bluetooth connectivity and just as randomly will reconnect. I want to go to newer iOS ready aids but I can't afford it. Please fix this mess and allow the users to upgrade their firmware themselves.

Very Disappointing. After using this app for a few days, I can not think of even one reason to continue to use it. When I first heard of this "made for iPhone solution" I was very excited and anxious for the app to be released. I am extremely disappointed!

It doesn't work. I wish I had read the reviews before buying this expensive piece of equipment that was supposed to improve my hearing. It drops the connection with my iPhone 6 in the middle of phone calls. It will not connect with my music on my phone, nor with the radio. Apple and Oticon must come up with a fix, or some kind of law suit is in order.

Doesn't work consistently. I've had the app see the streamer a couple of times. The app doesn't think the iPhone is paired - yet I'm talking on my Streamer right now! Restarting the app doesn't work.

ConnectLine Take it to Face Book let it be known. Ok I went to face book and contacted Oticon they have done an update on the Oticon streamer and I went back to my hearing specialist and she did another update on my streamer I repaired it with my iPhone 6s and now its working like it should. So happy it's working again. So have the update redone everyone will be happy.

From Oticons website. If the second letter in the serial number is an “A”, then it will work with the ConnectLine App for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. If there is not a serial number on the bottom of the Streamer, that probably means that the streamer is an earlier version and will not work with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The serial number is found on the bottom of your streamer. If you don't have a serial number your streamer will not work with connectline.

It works, just not with this app, try this one from Lehiso A/S called Streamerlink. StreamerLink By Lehiso A/S This is the software developer for the app that got branded by Oticon, if you are unable to pair, then try this app out, it’s identical and it works with the streamer pro 1.2.

Worst app ever!. Not only is this a totally worthless second-thought of an app (everyone else has an app, guess we should crank one out too), but it interacts with ever other app on my iPhone 6s. Terrible piece of junk. How did Oticon sink this low? I always thought they were the top of the line when it came to hearing aids. This app sure doesn't reflect that.

Simple to use. Not sure what all the fuss is but open settings, then bluetooth on phone or ipod. Hold the top button down until paired (5 to 10 secs). Play music.. works perfect.

This is a useless app. Directions might help, but it appears to add no value to what my Bluetooth streamer and hearing aids already do. I am deleting it. It's a waste of effort as far as I can see.

Looks okay so far. I've had the streamer for a couple of weeks. My audiologist updated the device on her office PC. We had my iPhone 5s paired in about a minute. When I power on the streamer, it takes about 10 seconds give or take for the app to recognize it. I listen to music all the time without a hiccup yet. Bluetooth is what it is with it's +/-'s. Those of you who are having connection issues, I would make sure your streamer isn't defective. It's probably not the apps fault if you can't connect, it's a Bluetooth issue and that's phone, streamer or hearing device. I only gave the app three stars but I have to say these hearing aids changed my life and this app is a key part of it. The app itself needs some refining but it works. The app itself: Program and mute buttons need a visual "on/off" cue. Take the battery gauge off of the about page and put it in the corner of the app screen. Mute button is pretty buggy, unusable for me. Make the mute button a little bigger. Add a volume meter next to the volume buttons, would be nice added functionality.

Oticon has no customer service. No support, streamer will not stay connect to iphone7 - useless!

Streamer issues. When IOS have been updated new version so fast, everyone including myself are suffering in hearing world. We are all going back to silence society again. Our rights, freedom, equality to hear are abusing and violating! Where all taxes were collected in millions may be in billion over the years by all phones companies, which under the special taxes for deaf and hard of hearing? It is time to stand up and raise the voices. Let's start the class actions against all big corporations, or whoever accountable collect those taxes on communication firms.

Doesn't work with my ipad. I have not had any trouble using the app with my iphone. However, when I try to watch a movie or stream a video in my ipad, it just won't work. There is no sound, even if "streamer pro 1.3" is selected in the bluetooth options.

Doesn’t work with iPad. Bluetooth connects with streamer. Oticon just sits there with + and -. Icons for ear and people, but it does nothing. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling. Useless on iPad. Works only with iPhone.

Clean app. Works great love it

Worthless. Can't get this to work with my iPhone 5S. I up to replace my hearing aid at the end of the year and this has helped make my decision not to stay with oticon. It impossible to get assistance with this app so will be going with Halo instead.

Oticon. It's a good app. However, with iphone issues... dropped calls or cutting out. I sure hope apple fixes this. Makes the streamer useless 😩 for the purpose it was intended. Worked fine up until a while ago.

Disappointing. I had this on my Blackberry and it worked perfectly. Now I have switched to an IPhone 6s and the only thing that it is good for is volume control. It randomly switches connection back and forth during streaming and phone calls to the point where it is so unreliable it can't even be used. (It has connected and disconnected countless times while I type this review). I have tried updates, relearning device and anything else lee I could find to try. Very disappointing that it can work so well on a Blackberry but yet so terrible for an IPhone. As a long time Blackberry user it is almost always the other way around.

Work as not advertised!. I did not tested each on off switch of the configuration but each time I wanted to activate a function, I had to deactivate the button! Things are reversed. This led me to lower a slider to increase the volume because the sound was much too low when receiving a phone call. I later discovered that I had to deactivate the switch used to activate the volume buttons! Talk about inversions! I even saw an explanation line telling to activate a given switch to do something and to activate it to do the reverse. Double inversion? Also, will not work with AppleTV as there is no place to input the random four digits number requested by the AppleTV to pair. French version 1.3.0 (387.1)

App update needed. My audiologist updated the firmware on my Streamer Pro and now the app refuses to recognize that the streamer is paired and connected. My streamer works fine with my iPhone, but the app refuses to see it. For whatever use this app had, it is now useless.

Not Sure The Point Of This App. This app allows newer Oticon ConnectLine Streamers to be operated by 'remote control' using an iPhone or iPad. The app operates as described on its page in the Apple App Store but my question is "What's the point?" The buttons on the Streamer do exactly the same thing. They are easy to use and always within reach, given that the Streamer hangs around the user's neck. To use the app, the user has to find his/her iPhone/iPad and launch the app, then go to the proper item and move the adjustment. It seems like an awkward way to change the volume (just one example) when the same thing can be done using the Streamer volume buttons. The app is especially silly if the Streamer is being used to listen to audio from the iPhone/iPad that contains the app. For example, if I'm watching a video on my iPad, and want to adjust the volume with the app, I have to exit the video, enter the ConnectLine app, change the volume, close the app and return to the video. Using the Streamer buttons I can adjust the volume without ever stopping the video. I may be missing something here but from what I can tell, this app seems like a solution looking for a problem. Dare I speculate that it may have been produced just to say that Oticon has an App? I gave it 2 stars because it does operate as described. I didn't give it higher because the App doesn't do anything useful that can't be done easier directly on the Streamer.

Problem but still like you. So when I use the FM it keeps making beep beep boop boop over and over again so please fix that also I like you to ☺️.

Works with Ipad. Selected Iphone to locate under Medical in app store downloaded and it works fine with Ipad Mini for Music Skpe and facetime just remember to push bottom left button on side of streamer after bluetooth sync to make it work The only trouble is when activated on iPad it deactivates the sync to my blackberry . the solution is to reset on iPad after you use it reset in the iPad software

operates well as described. It operates very well. All features function. Fresh batteries are a must especially if the i phone direct connect feature is used.

app problem. the app will only control the left hearing aid. Both left and right are working but the app os not recognizing the right side. Have to delete the app reload and after a few days do it all again. Bring back the original app always worked!!!

Needs more controls. 1st: You must have a 2014 streamer pro 1.2 (with a serial number with an "A" as the second letter for app support) for this app to work with your device. I upgraded for a $132 FEE about 6 months after buying the 1.1 model. 2nd: The app is most useful for enabling and disabling how the buttons function. I.e. Enable/disable "hold down volume" button to reject a call... etc. Most every other feature is easier and faster to do with shortcut keys on the device. 3rd: disappointing ... you will be able to switch between programs (audio profiles) that your audiologist has programmed into your devices, but you cannot add a new profile or adjust any equalizer levels. You may add as many cute icons representing different profiles but in my case the 1st represents "profile 1" and then any others are all "profile 2", so it's easier to switch between them by holding down the volume button than by accessing the app (which has to connect via bluetooth). 4th: There is a t-coil loop channel that I haven't used yet ( for receiving audio tours+?) 5th: You can adjust the volume differences between your hearing instrument microphones and the t-coil. 6th: While using the app the device has sometimes had weird issues where it will "act wrong" - volume is disabled and the "sync button" beeps instead of connecting- I've had to correct it by rebooting the device and my phone, re-syncing and being sure other devices aren't trying to connect. Overall the app's ability for customization is minimal and somewhat handy but Oticon really needs to provide one advanced setting so that we can make a copy of a program and can then adjust an equalizer to suit certain environments so that we can better communicate our needs to the audiologist for the final profile authoring. Unable to get this App to work properly. It works fine in demo mode. It keeps displaying both the streamer and the IPhone need to be paired and they are paired. Is there a fix? I am using a IPhone 5s.

Buggy. Unimpressed. It evidently pairs with my phone but will not stream music. I will likely return the device. I do not see how the app adds to the value or function of the instrument

Could not get to work. Got message that it was not paired with iPhone even though my iPhone is paired with streamer pro.

Crap. Serious crap. Installed and it worked once. Then it quit. Would have given one star but the App Store refused to accept anything but 5 stars. This app is just as useless as the android version was. They can charge $7000 for hearing aids but make useless apps

App. Streamer and aids are fine. App will not connect to 5s Phone is paired but app will not link. Looks promising but just can't get it to work

Does not work. Says I'm not connected when I am. No options other than Demo Mode. Will try again after an update.

Oticon. So one goes to the expense of buying a new streamer and a new phone AND I T DOES NOT WoRK Beyond annoyed

Loses connection. It was working great until the update to iOS 10.02 and iPhone 7. Keeps losing connection this is a very important tool for my job. Yes I have disconnected and reconnected several times. Please fix
