can't find lw-600p. app can't find lw-600p. pl fix it

Crashes. Cannot get it to work with iPhone 4s with ios8 keeps crashing.

Bluetooth issues. Since the newest update on July 31, 2017 our iPads are dropping connectivity. We tried it on one iPad version 10.3.3, one factory default 10.3.3 and one older 9.3.5 iPad all with the same results. It work fine on Android so it isn't the printer.

Great printer but horrible app. 95% of the time I receive a Bluetooth communication error. Have paired, repaired, reset, etc. Completely useless. Can only print using windows software and a printer cable.

Please Update. Even with the new update, missing vertical and flag printing options. And we still waste tape with minimal margin settings. Welcome to 2015. Let's be mindful of our waste.

Ok for most usage. This app works great for everything I have tried to do except for printing text vertically. Please add vertical or 'rotate' control for any selected piece of text.

Can't find lw-600p printer in Korean environment. This application can't find printer in Korean locale. In English locale, it is ok. Please fix it. — This bug is not fixed in 2016. March yet.

Label tape is a scam. Seems to work well enough. I'm disappointed in the default clip art... Pushing agendas like "no guns" My main complaint is the wasted tape when you turn the margins to minimum, it spits out about 1/4in or so, cuts it off, then prints a label with small borders... By the end of a roll in sure this adds to their profit margin. Come on, it's 2014 it's time for label makers to do edge to edge printing with no waste

Connection problems. This app take me five minutes to connect to the printer. Even when it connects I constantly get the error “communications error” and have to wait several more minutes for it to connect. Never had these problems with the brother printers.

Failure in Bluetooth Connection. This app cannot find Epson LW-600P mobile printer to be connected on Bluetooth!!!!. Don’t waste your money neither on it nor on the printer itself.

Decent, needs upgrades. The biggest issue is that there is no different options for fonts and the fonts that are installed are different than previous first since of the apps and label makers so that It can use an upgrade as well as other issues concerning designs and symbols that are not on this software versus what's on the hardware of the other label makers

Finally work with iOS 8. The app is functional but could use a lot of polish. I had trouble formatting for the cable wrap tape with my LW-600P until I realized I had to put extra carriage returns after the line of text. The latest version fixes the issue so that it works with iOS 8 and iPhone 6.

This really needs an update. This app really needs to be updated and I hate using it but I have an LW-600P for printing labels at work and I don’t have a lot of choice but to use it.

Need to improve. 1.old style app UI and not easy to use at all 2.Find device failed when use Wlan with 1000P. I have to reconnect WiFi for print discover. 3. Only few templates are available and these template are tooooo stick with the tape type, if I want to print a small label, and the template told me that I need to use another tape. Otherwise, I will get a label with half images on that. 4.there is no way to prompt half cut or full cut, I have to set up before I print

Are you kidding me?. Someone at Epson needs to hire a UX Designer and have them rework this entire app (if a UX Designer worked on this app, they should be fired). I don’t think you could make this much worse. Does anyone who works on this actually use it? How can my old label printer be easier to use than one that uses a smartphone as its interface? Someone on your product management team needs to make this a priority. I will not be recommending this to anyone in my social circle. Do better.

Crashes on startup with ios8. Do not buy printer until app is fixed. It only works with Bluetooth on iOS device. Requires Ian cable for windows

Fantastic update. Lots of new features in this update. Necessary app for my LW-600P bluetooth label printer. No vertical text yet though.

Version 1.5.0 Broken in iOS 10.2.1. App is usually reliable, but version 1.5.0 pretty much breaks the app for iOS 10.2.1. App cannot maintain reliable Bluetooth connection to label-maker and abruptly crashes and quits when I attempt to print.

Great, intuitive app. Nice update. Works well. Can print normal text labels and also QR codes! Easy to use. Does require a compatible Epson label printer. I use LW-600P.

Needs a lot of work. I'm able to do most things I want to do with this app, but there are some really annoying issues. (1) wastes tape It almost feels like Epson, on purpose, tweaked all features of this app to be inefficient with the tape. For example, there is no "Cut" button, but there is a "Feed and Cut" and "Feed". In other words, if you print multiple labels without cutting, your best option will waste 1/2" of tape. Another example: there is an option to make "minimum" margins. It doesn't do what you expect, however. Instead, it cuts off about 1/2" from the leading edge of the label before printing. 1/2" waste right there. (2) crashes all the time Yep (3) Too few stock templates and symbols. It misses some really obvious household symbols such as lightbulb and fan (I want to label my bathroom light switches). And so on. (4) Tries to get you to buy wider tape than you need. Most labels will comfortably fit on 3/4" tape (without margins), but it doesn't print them correctly, cutting off sides. Why can the same width label be printed on 1" tape, but in 3/4" it's cut off? Epson, please get it together. :-/ It's not rocket science.

Broken in 10.3. Overall, this app works fine but it's completely broken under iOS 10.3. Please update soon. I can't print labels at all. My lw600p is a paperweight right now.

Can’t change date format???. I can not believe the date and time label does not let me change to mm/dd/yyyy. And it doesn’t remember the last setting I set. This is such a commonly used label. And the desktop version let you do it.

Needs update. Catalog broken

App or printer Bluetooth buggy. Don’t know if problem is with the app or Epson Bluetooth implementation. App can’t communicate to printer 95% of the time. A big waste of time to produce a label.

Great. I have been looking for a small, portable label printer to use for awhile. This is app and the epson lw-600 label printer is perfect for what I need. I hope they offer more tape options like the ones that are available for their other label printers.

Broken for me. Clunky interface, but used to work ok, but since latest update refuses to connect to my LW-600P (even though I have a successful Bluetooth connection with the printer on my iPhone) and/or crashes every time I try to print a label. Very disappointed.

Generally good with one missing feature. I have not actually printed any labels with this yet but I have been evaluating the types of labels it can do. I am generally impressed but there is one major issue that makes it doubtful that I will purchase the printer to go along with this. I am interested in this solution to print asset labels for my office. Nothing fancy, just the asset name with a QR code of the name next to it so it can be read by a human on a scanner. There is a template built in to do that but you have to edit the text and QR code separately. There is no way that I can find to have the QR code tied to the text so that updating one updates both. This means doubled effort and a very good possibility that we will end up printing labels where the text and QR codes don't match.

**CAUTION** iOS 10 = Error - A Communication Error. From a 4 star rating to 1 star. The iOS app Epson deployed in March of 2017 and the update to fix bugs in July of 2017 has the same old features and one major problem; the wifi connection will CONSTANTLY loose Bluetooth connection with iPads and iPhones. Shortly after pressing the print button you will get a message that reads: Error - A Communication Error. I own a LW-600P and have used this same app for years and printed thousands upon thousands of labels. The version released in March 17, 2017 for iOS 10 once again had NO noticeable improvements to this outdated user interface. The update released in July-2017 didn't fix the problem. It is a problem with the app and not the device. I bought a second new device and now both old and new printers loose connection after touching the print button. After speaking with others that use these label printers I found out that Android devices work just fine. But iOS iPad and iPhone devices loose Bluetooth connection over, and over, and over again. You may sometimes get lucky and get one label to print right after rediscovering the device. For Epson: First order of business is to fix the unstable connection issue ASAP. That would get us back to what we had prior to Mar-17. Second, it would be a HUGE improvement to include a batch print function to this app. For years it has been the same painful process. Being limited to 970 characters you can paste into the text window is bad enough. But having to click print, wait, and then highlight and delete 2 (3/8"/9mm), 3 (1/2"/12mm) or 4 (3/4"/15mm) rows of text just to queue up the next label and press print again is insane. This is a massive waste of everyone's time. In conclusion, get your propeller-heads to fix your code and update this app to allow us to load a text file or column from Excel and print (use the width of tape and scale of text to determine how many lines are printed in a batch run). The patch is MANDATORY for anyone who is an iOS user. The batch print would be a HUGE improvement for people that print 1000's of labels each week.

Different fonts please!. I would like to see more creative font options. It has most all the fonts on a standard computer document, but not new, creative fonts. With this being an app and not just programming in a device, Epson can add whatever they choose. Also, I would like to add more than one symbol on a label, like before and after the letters. Everything else seems fantastic!! Thanks for making an app based label printer!!

Been crashing on iOS8 for months!! Fix your app Epson. Been crashing Betas and still not fixed on final release. Terrible work Epson.

Love it but Bluetooth issue. Really do like it but I want Epson to notice the problem. I have the 5s and latest iOS. Once paired you have to reactivate the BT each time you turn the printer off and on. The printer remains in the BT list but it does not auto lock on as is normal.

Nice little printer, nice little app. This app is very simple, but yet good enough to use. My kids enjoy to pick a pic from the lib and add some text and print a label out then stick it some where. Frankly speaking I don't expect a printer company can build a app work like this. I seen worse.

crashes with iOS 8. The printer itself is awesome. But completely bricked by IOS 8. the app crashes when you try to select a label.

Saves documents. What I like most about this app is that it saves a history of the labels you create, so you don't have recreate them. Some of preferences features could be explained, such as the "Half Cut" feature.

Error! Bluetooth signal lost. Is a beautiful, can print little labels but if you used with your phone or table via Bluetooth , is a night mare I have it for a year but today im so piss off so i decide to write this revew but it first i just was looking for app update to see if can work better and nothing. Took me two hour to 15 little labels just because i need to reconnect the Bluetooth connection more then 30 time.. i hate it now . Might will work ok if is connect it to a computer wit the cable.

Solved. I had a chequered experience with this app, but after uninstalling and reinstalling, I have had some success, so wanted to post a postscript to my earlier review.

Have to keep reinstalling!. The app is terrific when it's working on my iPhone 6 but every few days one of the options screens gliches. It only shows the 'buy tape' option on one of the screens. All the other options on that screen disappear including any way to go back. I then have to delete the app and reinstall to get it working again. Very frustrating! It also means I lose all my saved data. I wouldn't recommend this app.

Looses connection after each print. Connection seems to be really unstable when it comes to using the LW-600P with this app. I print one label then by the time I select the next label, I get a connection fail. The app freezes and I have to force restart to connect again.

Latest update. Needs an update for iPhone 11. Label history just shows a series of blank rows.

Latest version no good. The latest version has changed all of my saved labels to a black screen, you need to click on it to see what it is not happy

iOS 14 font picker broken.... Lost ability to use custom fonts. Please fix!

Used to be great on my LW-600P. This used to be a great app. It did have limitations as to what & how you could edit things, but to some degree almost all apps have ceilings that you can't break through to do all the things you want. I have tried re-downloading the app recently. No better. It still crashes, lost all ability to use pre-made template formats. The thumbnails for the templates are gone too. I am using an iPhone 7+, and have the current public build of iOS (not any new betas). Please fix this as I love the usefulness and portability of my LW-600P. It is great with Bluetooth as well as USB, and it is one of the few good small portable QR code printers around.
