App changed my flight without permission.. I booked a flight for my family and was reviewing changing it for an alternative. Apparently just by looking at the change, the app made the change and charged me $500. While the fee was quickly reversed, my flight was not fixed. I’m now stuck with a flight that I don’t want. While I realize this is an unlikely glitch, Capital one has refused to fix their error. So if you give them your business, they won’t make things right.

A little buggy. Once I save my favorite hotels in my search, I can only see it in map view, but I can’t see them in list view. It’s blank once I tap into it. Also, after my search for date range with how many rooms, if I exited out then clicked back to it, even I tried to modify and click apply, it didn’t really update. Would be great to fix these user flow issues. Thanks!

Access is limited. Trying to search for flights and it won’t let me view my search options. Such as the available airports I want to either fly into or out of. And then it’ll erase my departure airport if I get to the next step of searching for the arrival airport and transfer that into my departure line. So frustrating…. Tried to delete and replace the app and still the same thing happened. Not sure what the issue is??? Would like to see what this app has to offer as far as discounts. Thank you

Finally!. So glad there is finally a app and you don’t have to use the buggy website on your phone especially when you’re in a hurry and need info quick!! I have rated 4 stars since this is still a little glitchy but I’m sure the team is working on improving this app. Great start!

No plane types when choosing flights. I would never have expected them not to specify the type of plane when booking flights. They only mention it briefly in the tariff details, and only one type of plane among the three flights, which is not helpful at all. After switching from the Chase travel portal to the Capital One travel portal, it felt like moving from a Mercedes S-Class to a Ford Focus. It's embarrassing.

Thanks Capital One. This is a pleasant addition to my capital one services. I've always liked one and this is just one more reason to like them :)

Do not book through C1 travel Portal.. My experience with Capital One Travel was incredibly disappointing and stressful. They made a ticketing error which left me needing to book last minute tickets because I couldn’t check in. They refused to refund and I am at loss over 5k because of error on their end. I spent over 12 hours on the phone trying to fix an issue that should have been handled much more efficiently. I was passed between multiple representatives, given inconsistent information, and ultimately offered a refund that does not reflect the financial loss I incurred. The lack of clear communication and accountability made the situation even worse. For a company that promotes convenience and customer service, this experience fell far below expectations. I would not trust them with future travel bookings. I am pursuing legal action, but would never recommend nor use them again.

Booking Flights. Capital One Travel app made it super easy to find the flights I needed, use my credits, and pay. It’s nice to do this all in one place.

Slow. The app is great but for much better efficiency, it needs better speed for loading information. Everything takes a while to load.

Long time customer. Finally I can book trips without being logged out every 2 seconds! Such a cool experience and really easy to use

Worst travel app experience. This app is impossible to use. I have spent days trying to book a vacation package in the app. I get through the hotel selection and the airport departure flight but when I go to the return flight, the screen just starts to malfunction and you can’t complete the transaction. Very frustrating.

Finally there’s a travel app!. I’ve been waiting for this app since I got a venture x! Already booked a flight - loved the color calendar and the whole app looks so beautiful. Can’t wait for my trip to try out the flight tracking and to use the lounges!

Best travel App. If you’re gonna travel and plan on trying to save money, you go with Capital One Travel! They made my booking easy & showed me the most affordable option. Saved me $150. Thanks Capital One Travel !

Seamless booking experience. Love this new way to more easily access my travel, it looks and feels premium while keeping everything organized and in one place, easily accessible while on the go. From integrated lounge tools to untimed out login for easier access, this app is worth the download.

Fantastic booking experience!. Used the app to book travel for a wedding on the west coast and the experience was very smooth. Easy to see and understand where my miles were being applied and how my Venture X travel credit was being used.

Well…. Kind of weird to book room. I wasn’t sure I was doing it right… It looks like I didn’t get all the reward miles for the special offering.

Better than the regular app. This is a great step for capital one travel but there are still a few bugs that get really frustrating. The number one problem is sometimes when I click on a hotel on the map, it takes me to a completely different hotel on every click. The next issue is the lag when looking at the map view. List view works alright but every time I use the map, it’s laggy and seems to be missing some optimization.

Good Ideal Poorly Executed. I was looking forward to a stand alone Cap One travel app as using a web portal through the banking app was slow and unreliable. Unfortunately the travel app is even slower and more unreliable. I have gone back to using a web browser on pc. Hopefully the devs will fix this soon.

Very Convenient. Love the app, makes booking very simple and I have been using it for a few years now. Update recently made the variety of flights available better and I have received a few cash returns with the price drop guarantee!

Excellent design. The new Capital One Travel app has an excellent design! The interface looks modern and polished, with everything neatly organized and easy to find. Navigation feels smooth, and transitions between pages are seamless. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Airfare way overpriced. Was looking for a last minute domestic ticket. Fare prices shown were multiple times higher than actual prices going through airlines directly. Was not impressed. Seems to have same features as the Capital One mobile app but just separated out for travel. Don’t see a need for this app even if was possible to get a lower rate on a booking as you can just use Capital One’s regular mobile app.

Love this app!. This is such an upgrade from the original cap one app. Being able to see everything for travel and lounge access is so great. Very beautifully designed and user friendly! Now if only we can get a lounge at EWR :)

Limited functionality. App is good but till the point you are booking travel for yourselves. If you are a family person trying to book more than 1 hotel rooms best of luck to find any hotels. I am going a vacation for my family of 6. Everytime I looks for 2 or 3 rooms no result. You call helpline they will say book one room at a time. Are you a travel portal?? Or a personal travel portal?

Helpful lounge details. Love that I can easily access lounge details and add myself to the waitlist. It’s so much easier versus having to click a bunch of steps in the main Capital One app

Randomly increases price. The price increased immediately after I clicked “Book Your Reservation.” It feels like the pricing is structured in a way that makes it difficult to qualify for their price match guarantee. For example, the lower-priced option may be non-refundable and exclude basic inclusions like meal plans, while comparable listings elsewhere include those benefits. Capital One Travel used to be reliable, but the experience has noticeably declined. The lack of pricing transparency is disappointing, and it’s making me seriously consider closing my account and moving to Chase instead.

Great Experience! Very easy to use!. My first time booking a trip using Capital One Travel and I loved how easy it was!! I also love the perks Capital One offers. Make sure you see the deals there running before booking!!! I totally recommend!!!

Way better than Amex travel app. Much easier to navigate throughout the app and easily able to book flights.

Amazing interface and smooth design. I had been asking for this since i got my venture X. Truly a unique experience from start to finish. Capital one remains unmatched.

Lags and constantly crashes. I love using capital one travel but app has made my recent trip miserable bc every time I would look for a flight or hotel it would take FOREVER bc it lagged so much. At one point I got on Expedia for hotels then when I found one I searched for it on capital one so I could get the cash back.

Disappointed in Booking Option. Super disappointed, recently upgraded my card with the intention to book a lot of travel with this card and through the app. So many glitches and errors just trying to search hotels has me seriously disappointed I didn’t go with Chase. Unable to search one hotel in 2 days of trying, despite updating the app. Do better Capital One or I am out of here.

Easy booking. It was so easy to book! All the hotel options were shown and I got to pick and earn miles all in one app! So easy!!

Better than I though. While the app was way better than I thought and had a much easier interface and booking compared to most other booking apps, I did notice there were more bugs and glitches when it came to things such as refreshing, or trying to view hearted and saved hotels for future reference. Everytime I went to view them, it just kept showing every hotel like normal compared to just the ones I wanted to see.

Great booking experience with a clean calendar view. The calendar view for booking is really well done, it makes picking dates intuitive based on the best price available. The lounge info section is a standout, the UI & the animation is polished and smooth. I can get all the details I need without feeling cluttered! Solid app overall and gets the core experience right.

Awesome tool. Works just as well as the other travel apps and has the same offerings. If you’re a capital one member this is a no brainer, customer service is easy to deal with and if you have issues… best to handle it with them than a company like Expedia.

Go-To Travel App. I had a great experience using this travel app. It was quick, easy to navigate, and made the entire booking process stress-free. No 5X points for you…. Just got my Venture card and tried to book my room through the Capital One travel app (and website) and just kept getting unknown error, pick another hotel message. Tried multiple times without success. So I wound up having to book the room directly through the hotel website, no 5X points for me. I guess that means the experience can only go up from here… right?

So easy!. I love the Capital One Travel app. It's super easy to use and all of my Capital One points are available and ready to use without having to toggle back and forth from my credit card app to transfer. Keeps my bookings, cards and points all in one nifty easy to access place!

Kudos to the designers!!. I just started using the new Capital One Travel app and honestly, I’m really impressed. The whole experience just feels super clean and intuitive. Everything flows exactly how you’d expect, from browsing to booking, and nothing feels clunky or overcomplicated. The design is sharp too, modern without trying too hard, and really easy to navigate. Biggest thing for me is how seamless it is. You can go from casually looking to fully booked in just a few taps without any friction. They really nailed this one. Kudos to whoever designed this!!!

Love it, but. Super sleek, and easy to use. My only things I wish is that I could save hotels in my favorites when I am searching for stays for a trip, and exiting back to the main list after checking out a location takes a long time to reload.

clumsy, buggy and slow. This app is the pits. It is clumsy (for example does not recognize some airport 3-letter codes), buggy (often goes “some error occurred”) and so slow that it is truly unbearable. It also has no ability to search by ranges or selecting features (like avoid basic economy). They need to just use google flights or kayak as their search engine.

Car rental. It’s so easy to pick up the car with a great deal and book it right away, also you get a chance to cancel it two days before without charge

Great additional App. Love the idea of the app. Better than using it through the other app. But the map when searching for hotels is very slow and glitchy. Please fix it!!

Favorites “view hotel” tab under Profile unable to tap. Everything about the app is spot on. The only thing that needs tweaking is the Hotel Favorites tab under “Profile”. I have three hotels saved under favorites for an upcoming trip. It’s taps fine when tapping it in the browser. However on the app, tapping “view” for the hotel favorites is unresponsive.

I “hearted” saved stays. Hello, to whom this may concern. I “hearted” my saved stays.. however it does not show me the places I hearted but just shows options of multiple stays. I would like to see the options I saved but it doesn’t allow me as I have to scroll and find them or look at them on the map which is inconvenient.

A truly premium travel experience. The shift from the main app to this dedicated one is a massive upgrade. The interface feels high-end, smooth, and much more intuitive for planning a trip. It’s clearly been built for speed, and the layout makes tracking prices and managing my trips feel seamless rather than like a chore. If you have a Capital One travel rewards card, this is definitely the best way to book.

Nice idea - poorly executed!. TLDR: C1 STILL has not fixed - limited to 6 on flight bookings - inflexible hotel multiple-room bookings, hotel searching goes to WEB only, OTP is excessive As far as Travel Portals go CapitalOne has not been bad as bad as some (i.e Chase!). - Air Travel - C1 offers flights with low cost carriers that aren’t shown on Citi or Chase portals at all. (Citi does allow more than 6pax, and C1 is limited to 6 so I prefer flights in Citi if booking for 6 or less). - hotel stays - Citi also wins in allowing multiple rooms, of different kinds to be added to the cart and checked out together, whereas C1 forces multiple room bookings to be the same kind. C1 has a slight edge over Citi in credit redemption ($300 on any portal booking, whereas Citi Elite has $300 on just hotels of 2 nights +, and Citi Strata is the least appealing with $100 off of $500 in one booking) - Travel App - web travel bookings on both C1 and Citi frequently log out during travel searches, so I was VERY INTERESTED to see if C1 would gain an edge in UX by releasing their dedicated Travel App… not so much! EVERY TIME I open the C1 App I have to do a OTP verification. Searching is smooth enough; flights, no problem. BUT for ANY hotel search if you click on a hotel to see more details or make a booking it forces you BACK to the website, where you have to login AGAIN and do ANOTHER OTP just to see the hotel details. That has to be a glitch?! There’s no way they did beta testing with real people and concluded, “sure, this unnecessary, multi-step, frustrating process is an improvement over the web experience.” 🧐🤯😖 … in the time it took me to type this paragraph the new, dedicated C1 travel app LOGGED OUT and now wants another OTP to open and search 😂🗑️💀 (NOTE: I do use a VPN when traveling, but that should not matter, this is an app designed for TRAVELERS, right?!)

Newby. So far I’m enjoying racking up the mileage. However, i do see getting the upper card, $395/yr, would’ve been a better option. But for now, its a good start with the $99/yr card.

Terrible support. This app is thoroughly exhausting. There is no communication between the airline and capital one so if there is a delay or cancellation the airline will ask you to call capital one and capital one will ask you to call the airline. Expect to spend a few hours with support on the phone because there is no email or chat support. Extremely inconvenient if you’re traveling internationally and to a remote part. Absolutely cannot recommend.
