Fun but... The timers. The timers are incredibly short for a strategic game. I understand putting stress on the level but some of these timers are so short that you have to trial and error through all of your extra lives and even then barely escape. I’m up to level 179 but progress is getting slower and slower. I love the overall premise of the game. I enjoy puzzles but these timers are brutal.

Bring the old game back!!!. This new update is horrible!! The heart system ruined the game for people who wanted to sit down and play long term, regardless of fails. The ads after every level is aggravating, and the new design lost the games appeal.

Challenging, fun, but the hearts…. I don’t think it makes sense to lose hearts when you pass a level. If you fail at one, sure, but even if you have one heart left you should be able to play multiple levels if you win them.

New design. I do not like the new design. They’re supposed to be snakes, not geckos. I liked the cute little rattle sound they made when they went in the hole. Also the colors are too similar.

Timers are too short in the later stages. I got tired at level 179, the timer just is not long enough and I know it’s to force me to do an in app purchase but I’m sorry I’m not wasting money on that.

Starts out fun but requires boosters. This game is well made and lots of fun but there is a point where you can’t move forward without boosters. Unfortunately there’s no way to earn them other than by paying. It would be a lot more fun to be able to earn through logging in, etc. I will probably delete this game because of it. FWIW I’m on level 161.

Fun til the game forces you into a paywall. 5 stars for the gameplay being fun, 1 star for the timer amount jamming you up and basically forcing you to spend money for game coins. I’m on lvl 171 and game time so low beating it without boosters is essentially impossible. And I’m out of coins so unless I want to spend real money on fake coins so I am currently stuck since there’s no ad supported boosters or coins or daily bonus or whatever like just about every other game out there. Guess I’ll give this level a couple more tries then find a new game. The funny part is it’s only a hard rated level while most very hard levels have been noticeably easier

Pay to play. I’ve been playing for a while now. And there are just some levels that you cannot pass without paying. Especially once they introduced the bombs. There is a section where you have to get rid of almost 5 or 6 geckos in 20 seconds. And they’re packed really tight. It’s impossible to beat without having power ups. And you don’t get coins at a good enough rate to keep up. I’m pretty much at the point where I’m going to delete the game. The introduction of the bombs killed it completely. There were a couple levels before that that felt like I couldn’t pass without power ups, but they weren’t as noticeable because they were farther apart, but the bombs really just kill it. It really is a shame because I find the game cute. And a lot of fun when it works. But the levels are getting way too difficult to the point of feeling impossible.

Wish there was no timer. This would be an awesome game if there was no timer that counts down. I love the game except for that. It’s extremely discouraging on the very hard levels, which are impossible to win. Ultimately I got so frustrated with not having enough time that I gave up and deleted the app. I hope they make a similar game with no timer in the future.

Decided to delete-be warned. I don’t mind paying a bit for a good game but game developers got too greedy. I enjoy a challenge and an additive game but this is set up to monetize at the expense of fun for players. Too bad. A little bit more wins to lose ratio and I would have payed to play for a long time. These are greedy developers

Impossible level 304. Love the game, kinda obsessed honestly and I cannot for the life of me beat level 304. Tried the game walkthrough but it doesn’t have ice where mine does.

Deleting because of the bombs. I’m at level 364. I loved this game until I reached the bombs. Now it’s just stressful. Part of the fun is trying different avenues, but the bombs remove the ability to experiment, and it’s no longer any fun. Time to delete and find a different game.

Update: Lost Money. “This game used to be one of my favorites until level 2005. I was excited about the new updates, but now I see they were distractions from deceptive design tactics. On level 2005, I was forced to spend money to continue a streak due to an unsolvable level. I took a screenshot and verified every possible move there were none. The timer also runs faster than advertised (I measured it), stealing 6–8 seconds per game. This is manipulative and feels like a scam. I now suspect other ‘stuck’ levels weren’t about strategy they were about pushing microtransactions. That’s deceptive, unfair, and a breach of trust. I’m requesting a full refund for all purchases, as the game failed to deliver the paid content I was charged for. Until the developers address this, I’ll be deleting the app and warning other players. You had something great and ruined it.”

Someone give me advice if you pass it!!. I can’t get past 51 when I’m about to beat it I run out of time!!

Fun, but a money racket. Either the timers need to be lengthened or the amount of coins to continue playing needs to be reduced. I don’t mind a challenging level, but some will never be beat without spending a fortune. You need to do better 😔

I LOVE the game play but…. It’s not fun if you can’t win. This is unique game play that is challenging and addictive. Until I’m so mad and frustrated I’m ready to delete it! Why? Challenging beyond reality: starting around level 500, every single level has been difficult to the point that I could not solve it without purchasing coins and special features. With actual money. I’ve done that, but I won’t again. It makes me mad. It’s not fun if we can’t win. Timers: they are too short. Some of these could spend 5-8minutes trying to solve and still might not make it. Which then pushes you to the previous point. Lives: with only 5 lives to try before you have to wait for a refill, you spend all this time trying again and again and just when you think you might have it, you’re out of lives. Back to watching ads or paying to play. This game has a TON of potential. One of the best new styles of puzzles, because the geckos move and change shape - it’s great!! But it’s not fun if there’s no hope of success. Help!

Meh. I downloaded the game a few days ago and it was fun. Just opened it to play and was forced into a seven level challenge against other players. The exact same challenge as every other game uses these days. Sick of living life on repeat, remakes and sequels, I tried to opt out but it wouldn’t let me. I won’t be forced to do anything so I removed the game. It’s just like a thousand other games out there anyway, no attempt at creativity or ingenuity.

Fun game but…... So I downloaded this because it’s cute and looks fun and relaxing. Unfortunately I noticed rather quickly that it was not that it is IMPOSSIBLE to play without buying the tools to cut or break something. Literally NOT possible because there are walls blocking everything and white ones that have no place. I assume if you pay you will get past the first 50 levels! The first 50 go fast so it not like a lot of game time. Anyways, the geckos are adorable and the concept is from TBH, but I won’t continue to play this because I KNOW it’s a money trap. :(

Timer. I love the game but the timer is way way way to short. I’m on level 11 can’t go no further. Not enough time . I’ll be deleting this game , unless this can be fixed.

Please remove timer. I really liked this game at first, but now that that I’ve advanced in levels it has become too difficult. I like to solve puzzles, but the timer makes the “Very Hard” levels impossible for me to complete. I’d love to keep playing but the game is getting too frustrating to enjoy. It is really cute and I wish I could keep playing.

Awesome but. Absolutely love the game just wish there was an endless option where you could play without a timer or end of level

Level 172. I have gotten to level 172 and there is no way to pass the level because nothing moves enough. I’ve looked up solutions to it and in all the videos the level has subtle changes that make it doable but in game it’s different and nothing moves. Would be nice if we could watch a video for help as well.

Games are supposed to be fun…. I like this game in general but am finding it more frustrating than fun recently. I’m currently on level 83 and now it seems that every other level is labeled either “Hard” or “Very Hard”. It is nearby impossible to move any of the geckos enough to get one in their hole and start making progress. Even if I finally get one in the hole, half the time has elapsed and there is no way to complete the level in the remaining time. I guess the business model is based on the notion that some or most players will buy the extras to complete the hard levels but I think more people will just give up playing altogether. Developers would do better in the long run to make their games a little easier and retain their player base over time in my opinion. We play games to relax and have fun, not get frustrated constantly. I don’t mind paying a little for games that I can enjoy. This game would be so much better if they made the hard levels around 15% less hard (fewer walls, one less gecko, more time, etc).

Needs no timer mode. Needs a no timer mode, also overheats my phone like crazy. Otherwise fun and cute art style and mechanics. I really hate the timer, the game is plenty hard without it.

No way to advance w/o paying. I have played to Level 142 in two days. I don’t believe there is a solution for level 142 without paying for extra helps. All of the geckos are five squares and there is NO way to move to the goal without paying for helps. 141 levels were challenging but I’m thinking about deleting at this point.

Expensive!. At the upper levels there is no way to win without a purchase, and buying time, etc is VERY expensive. Maybe give some of those items to the players as they advance.

Good game but not like the ads. The game is fun but why can’t games be like in the ads. The levels are a bit too easy and sometimes it’s boring.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I was going to write a glowing five star review but as soon as I hit day three of playing this game there were suddenly ads and they play after every single level without fail and you cannot play the game without internet so you MUST deal with them. Unfortunately the game itself is really fun and satisfying to play but the ads make it unbearable.

Archaic "Lives". The latest update removed the ability to manipulate the lives by changing the time on your phone. It was annoying enough to have to do that, but now you'll actually have to pay for them. No thanks. Deleting the app altogether now.

New layout. The new update has changed the design and also added an ad after every level, + you now have to pay to restart a level. Unfortunate since this was my favorite game to play before, but they obviously took the money route

It’s cute but stressful. I really like the design of the game, the geckos are adorable BUUUUT the timers are DIABOLICALLY short even on the easy levels and no chance to grind, have to pay to advance while still shoving ads at us regardless. I don’t feel like I should be tensing as much as I am for a game im trying to relax with… And to get more lives that timer is set super high too so losing my attention pretty quick on these impossible (with out buffs) levels. At least let us watch some ads and earn some buffs and still give you revenue with some kick back to us players to let us continue playing.

Too hard. There are simply too many obstacles for the given time limit. I’m on level 161 and the time limit is too short. I can get maybe five of the geckos in ther holes before the timer runs out. I would prefer to have a zen mode where I can simply work through the puzzle with out the pressure of a timer. I’m getting frustrated to the point of possibly deleting the app It’s a shame though, because the geckos are really cute and I really wanted to like this app

Would love it to not be timed. I like the graphics I like the idea, but it’s obviously designed for you to only win by spending money. I would love a version of it that I could purchase that did not have the timer.

The skin thing. The game is a lot of fun, but with one color tucked inside another color, it looks like the geckos are shedding skin, or just puking out another color, and is too gross to continue to play.

Too Hard To Pass Levels. I loved this game and am on Level 3269. A lot of those levels were repeats until the last update. Now, with the introduction of the bombs, the levels are impossible to pass. I obviously have been able to pass hard levels in the past and I like a little challenge, but the new update is beyond challenging. A game isn’t fun when it makes you want to throw your phone in frustration. I miss being able to play for fun.

Great Game… but the Ads. The game is really fun. The timers are just short enough to cause rewarding urgency. I really love the core gameplay mechanics. However, the lives make it completely unplayable. The lives are proof that this game wasn’t made for the love of creating games. It was created for the love of ad revenue. Even if I had to watch a short ad between each run, it would be fine, but forcing people to watch a long add for lives IN ADDITION to watching a short one between levels is inhumane. Do better. Don’t be a shill.

Great New Game. I may be wrong, but I call this a twist on the “saw the wooden blocks” games. Right or wrong, it’s a refreshingly new idea and I love it, can’t quit playing!

Love it……. Thought provoking. I’ve never seen such amazing thought provoking games such as this one before……I look forward to future versions hopefully soon!!!!!

Remove the timer!. The visuals, haptics, music, animations, and style of the game is wonderful. Honestly I don’t usually feel this way about mobile games I get ads for, but this one is genuinely really fun! I like the complications and the puzzles. One complaint, the timer. It ruins the game for me. There’s no fun to a puzzle game if I don’t get to puzzle it out and take my time, losing a life if it takes me any longer than the allotted 2 minutes or less. I just want to make the silly geckos go into their silly slots, but after 30 seconds of figuring out how to get one of them in, i fail. It’s stressful and frankly not worth the trouble. I’d like a timeless game mode, or maybe timing yourself counting UP instead of DOWN to see how fast you can do each level. Had to delete for now.

Almost Perfect. If I could replay levels or reset the game, I would purchase the ad free pack in a heartbeat. Other than that, game is great. Until then I’ll play until I can’t advance anymore and find a similar game in the App Store that will let me reset and replay levels.

Level 32. If anyone has gotten past level 32 please let me know thank you. It would really be appreciated I’ve tried everything and 2 minutes is not long enough.

It’s definitely a challenge. I love the exercise my strategy skill is getting but I can’t give the game five stars; it’s simply too expensive to continue playing. Once I use up the coins I’ve purchased, I’ll be deleting this game so I won’t be tempted to continue spending money on it.

New design. Listen this game is really fun but I genuinely hate the new design of what was SUPPOSED to be snakes. The old design seemed smoother and better with JUST snakes, now it just seems like a game for babies who love cocomelon 🤦‍♂️. I greatly hate this new design, PLEASE fix it.

Fun but too hard too quickly. I started out really enjoying this game but it soon got impossible to move on through the level without using tools. The tools go quick and the only way to replenish us to purchase. That goes quick too. After each level if you pick the smaller points you still have to watch an add. You can only gain 80 points by watching an add but just to add a little more time to the game it’s 900 points. That’s a lot for getting so little. The game lags a lot and it ends up costing precious seconds. As much as I have enjoyed it and spent money I will probably not be playing anymore.

Pay to advance. Games need to be winnable without having to pay money to use the assists. I don't mind playing one game ten times if on the tenth time I win it, but when the entire game ticks to it's end and I haven't been able to make a second move, what's the point? Too hard too soon

The timer. The timer in this game is brutal. I’d be fine with that IF you didn’t have a limit of 5 games, then you have to wait TWENTY MINUTES to play again ONCE (5 Max lives, each life takes 20 minutes to refill), or pay money/watch an ad. This is an absolutely amazing game, but those two facts just ruined it for me.

Timer is stressfully short. 7/7/25: A timer free version of this game would be much more fun and relaxing. I would even be happy to watch a 30 second ad between every round for that. Or have the timer, but if you go beyond the time, you continue playing that round, but only are rewarded with less coins when you do complete. Or allow us 60 seconds extra time by watching 30 second ads. It’s Impossible to earn enough coins to buy even one timer extension. Currently, the timer is too short. Even after several tries and I have it figured out, I still can’t move the geckos around quick enough to complete.

Great….but the timers. I absolutely love this game but can’t play anymore because I can’t get past the timer. Many levels don’t give you a chance even with some of the extras. Need to get rid of those timers and it would be an excellent game. No timers to make it a 5.

Trash. this game is simply stupid. It’s literally impossible to move them & when you do they’re sensitive, they literally go in the opposite direction of what you’re pointing them to. Spent over 100 dollars trying to pass levels. Just deleted it waste of time

Bug-Memory Leak?. Game used to run fine, but lately it starts slowing down very badly after about 5-10 minutes of playing. I have to restart the app to make it run correctly again. Maybe it’s a memory leak bug? The game is almost unplayable now. This just started happening recently.

No annoying ads between levels (so far) so you go from one level, click on your points and go straight to next level so it’s super fast, I’m really loving it (so far). I recommend.

Starts good, gets annoying. First fifty levels are good. After that it’s designed to be fiddly and frustrating with a countdown timer. Tries to make you buy tools to finish levels. Stopped being fun.

Timer ruins the game. This would be one of my favorite games if the timer were more realistic. So many of the levels are pretty much unplayable because the timer is too short.

And there are no options to watch ads or anything to get helpers.. you need coins to purchase helpers.. but how can you get coins if you can’t beat these hard levels without helpers.. every other level is a “hard level”.. makes no sense.. Timer is awful. This game is great in theory. The timer ruins it! Please add an option to play the puzzles without the timer ticking. It would be a favorite of mine without the timer. It makes the tough levels unplayable.

Blank screen. I was looking forward to playing this game. However when I opened it all I got was a blank screen with an elephant on it and nothing else. Waited 5 minutes for something to happen, but nothing did. I’m out. Deleting as of now.

Not possible without purchases. Nice to begin with but then the board is impossible to do without buying a hammer etc. not wasting my time or money in this one. Uninstalled.

Can’t get past level 39. It is impossible to get past level 39 without paying. There is no where near enough to even get close to finishing. And you the amount of coins you need to buy boosters is way too high. It’s a great game but I’m not wasting my money to put geckos in a their holes, sorry! It’s rated 4years+, haha I’m 51 and I can’t get past level 39…you show me what 4 year old can haha When you make the timer more reasonable and the cost of boosters (using coins you’ve earned not real money) then I’ll keep playing but for now 👎🏻👎🏻

Timer ruins the game. Fun concept and game but the timer is very frustrating. Dev, please consider changing the timer mechanism. Maybe the timer counts up and the player collects stars depending on their time. For example, less than 1 min is 3 stars, 2 min is 2 stars, over 3 min is 1 star.

Unrealistic timer. The concept is actually very fun, but the timer is highly unrealistic unless you are able to correctly complete each level right away with no hesitation between the steps. There are also too many ads, and since you can’t go back to attempt easier levels, I cannot introduce this game for my friends to try, so I will no longer be playing.

Harder then needs to be. The levels get too hard too quick, and the time between regular levels and the hardest levels is way too short

Great game… but…. This game is great, but it gets ridiculous. Most games have regular levels with medium, hard, and very hard dispersed throughout. As you get higher it’s more the regular levels that are dispersed. If you don’t finish the first try, and lose the bonus of cutting some length and adding time, it is literally impossible to complete without paying to get adds in the time provided for the average player. As much as I enjoy the game, it’s not worth it.

Perfect Game Except…. The game is challenging and fun and the graphics are adorable. Love those cute little geckos. The only problem is that there are way too many ads. You win a level, watch an ad, sometimes two, even if you don’t choose the double reward. Lose a level and watch ads to get more lives. Spending more time on ads than the game. Not worth it.

Sick of greedy developers. Fun for 10ish levels then the timer makes it impossible to beat without spending a ton of money on coins or boosters. I have purchased both but how are you going to charge 900 for less than ten seconds? I barely have time to look at the whole board before the timer starts beeping. You guys made a fun game. I honestly really like it, but your greed ruins it. I wound play if I could win extra time by watching ads but that’s not even an option. Sad I spent even $1 on this. I see you replying to other users about the glitches- how about replying to the dozens questioning the ridiculous timer??

Don’t do too good.. Once you get to a certain point they make the levels impossible by making the time allowed so short you have to pay to even have a chance and they don’t reply when you contact support. For instance level 1499- cannot be done in one minute. And the default message is yes it can but they won’t prove it and it’s all over many message boards etc that without tons of extras it cannot be done. They scam you into Having to pay to continue.

game keeps crashing, forcing me to restart. Really fun and addictive game. However, game keeps crashing, forcing me to restart. I’m on level 422 and every other level the game freezes forcing me to relaunch the game. When i restart the game it considers the crash/game freezing as a loss. This means I lose one of my 8 lives along with any coin bonuses for playing straight without losing a level. After reading other reviews, I’m just going to delete game and find another with a similar concept. Good luck Gecko Out!

Adventurer’s Gift is annoying. I got this because I wanted the challenge of a puzzle game. But if you win a level it automatically applies a cheat to make the next level easier. No way to turn it off. I have to intentionally fail each level first to lose the cheat. But now I can’t track my actual win streak. Terrible addition to the game! There are buttons that you can add a cheat if you want. I don’t use those. Why would I want an automatic cheat?

Genuinely fun game. This game is great. It’s cute, the graphics are solid, it doesn’t crash, and it is well balanced between difficulty and rewards. There are ads but they are just annoying enough to tolerate, but there’s also an option to go ad free if you have a lower tolerance. I acknowledge that there are a bunch of similar games out there - but I really like this one the best.

Must pay to proceed. The game really was a lot of fun at first, but eventually the levels have been changed to have such short time limits that it’s physically impossible to pass without paying for upgrades. It’s not even about the complexity of the level, you can’t physically move fast enough to beat them in the allotted time. Either the developer has chosen to purposely do this to force you to pay for upgrades or they don’t QA their own work. Either way it stopped being an enjoyable puzzle game, so it’s time to delete and find something else to occupy my time.

Too many pay to win levels. Seriously? every 3 or 4 levels is Very Hard and even with the bonuses it’s nearly impossible? I finally deleted this app after seeing how many micro transactions I made just to get past an infuriating level. My fault for paying, sure. But, developers really should worry more about keeping your customers long term rather than make them frustrated at having to pay to just get past a level. Don’t bother with this game unless you want to keep throwing money at it

Misleading.. I saw a lot of reviews saying that the adds are very annoying but I checked out the game anyways, it was very fun! I actually thought that they just got rid of the adds because I got all the way up to Level 64 without an interruption….then I got an add. It was very misleading! I got the time to actually enjoy the game, it is a lot of, then it just got ruined in the matter of seconds.

Would be 5* if not for tight timers. This is a great game… it’s satisfying to watch the little lizards slither around and then dive into their holes. I just wish there was a mode where you had to limit moves instead of beating the timer. Being timed on puzzles stresses me out, and it would make the harder levels less frustrating!

Frustratingly Addictive. I’m very close to being done with this game. It’s frustratingly addictive and it’s embarrassing to admit that I’ve spent too much money on it. The normal and medium levels give enough time to workout what needs to be done, even if you have to play them many times yo get faster to solve. However, the hard levels give 1:00-1:15 minutes and lots of geckos so you can barely get one or two of them out.

Surprisingly good. I didn’t expect much of this game and only got it to get points on Fetch. It’s really fun! I like the way the geckos move around, and winning is challenging and satisfying. There are no unprompted ads as of yet and I’m on level 41. I have watched a few to earn extra coins but I’m happy that it isn’t an ad factory. This is one I think I’ll keep.

Eh.. I honestly hate this game so much. There are really hard levels every 2-3 levels, and they don’t even give you enough time to complete the challenges. Every challenge is about 1.50 mins, and even the harder levels are the same amount of time. Harder leveled should be increased to 3 mins. Every time I’m playing a harder level the time runs out when I have only one gecko left. It’s very annoying and that alone makes it super difficult to enjoy the game. It’s a nice game, but the short timer is very annoying. If I weren’t being paid to try this game out; I would still rate it 1/5.

Get rid of the timer. The timer makes this game terrible. After level 300 or so they give you such little time even for the “medium” difficulty puzzles where you basically have to have the whole puzzle memorized move by move to solve it in time. I didn’t want to play a puzzle game to practice muscle memory that’s only relevant to a single puzzle. Otherwise it would be a fantastic game.

Cool game but…. Please make an option where we can play without the time limit. Also, please make it so that we don’t accidentally use 900 coins when the level ends 😤What good are the geckos with the scissors If they don’t cut the ropes til the level is already mostly completed? 900 coins for 20 seconds is a lot. It should be no more than 50 coins for that little bit of time. We should be able to choose which geckos get cut short. It chose the easiest one.

i love this game more than life itself. i truly believe i am the #1 gecko out fan. i love this game. i play it constantly. i’m on level 1,508 and still actively going every day. sometimes at night, i close my eyes and play gecko out in my head to relax. i’m addicted. i’m obsessed. if gecko out has a million fans, i am one of them. if gecko out has a hundred fans, i am one of them. if gecko out has ten fans, i am one of them. if gecko out only has one fan, that one fan is me. if gecko out has no fans, that means i am no longer living on this earth. if the world is against gecko out, i am against the world

Currency Confusion. I like the game but I’m struggling to see the point of the currency in the game. I don’t know maybe I haven’t reached far enough to be able to purchase anything. I just noticed you earn coins every lvl but there’s not really anything to spend them on. Don’t get me wrong I love that it’s not pay to win. It’s just strange it hasn’t ways for you to spend money on coins but not be able to do anything with them, am I wrong?

I love it but there’s some problems. I love it but I don’t like that’s it’s timed could you please remove that and to meny adds remove the hearts and I don’t like the super hard levels and last but not least it helps me when the geckos faces look at me when I’m sad but there not there whenever I’m upset because when you faell a level you don’t get to see them and that makes me even more sad so that’s all…

Popups. One of the things I used to love about this game is that you could just pick it up and play. Not anymore. I just opened up the game after not being here for a while and was bombarded by PopUps. “Island Quest”, “Apple Hunt”, “Grand Deal”, “Quests” “Gecko Pass”, “Ancient Climb” and here’s a secondary PopUp for each of these things to show you how they work! I about sprained my thumb x-ing out of all this BS. I’m fine with regular ads, the game needs to be supported, but this kinda stuff? I just want to PLAY. You can keep your snazzy new graphics if this is the price!

Fun, but the timer is awful. Love the game, but the timer makes some of the levels almost impossible to accomplish because it runs out too fast. I try to play the fastest I can and, unless I use some sort of booster, I will lose the level over and over again until I run out of lives. It makes it seem like they want the timer to be quick so we will spend real money on boosters in the game. If the timer was longer or if you could run out of lives a different way I would like this game way more

Fun but eventually requires purchases. This game is super fun but eventually you cannot win without boosters that cost money. I’m very good at puzzle games and around level 700, you literally cannot beat the level without using boosters… that eventually run out and you have to use real money to continue. 5 stars for the fun game. 1 star for it basically being a scam in the end.

Fun game. Good game for sure. Some levels seem designed to use up coins and bonus tools or force you to try over and over memorizing the pattern to get fast enough to complete them. Not too often though. I’m at level 200 and haven’t hit a paywall difficulty and I often have a free unlimited lives option available. Overall, while not perfect, it’s a fun game. Recommend.

The timer is killing me. I agree with all the reviews so far, this game is amazing. But I like a puzzle game, not a beat the clock game. With limited lives, I don’t have a chance to think the puzzle out before the timer is up. And by then I’ve wasted five tries just trying stuff and moving geckos around. A suggestion: perhaps the timer must be beaten to move onto the next level? But you could still work past the timer to figure things out before trying again? I don’t know, but this game is stressful. I don’t play games to increase my stress. I play them to relax. This might be a delete for me, which is a bummer - because it’s unique and clever and well designed.

Needs one change. When you fail a level the KEEP PLAYING screen pops up quickly. It happens often that an accidental click on the Keep Playing button occurs. I would rate it 5 stars if we had a confirmation pop up after choosing the Keep Playing button. PLEASE!!!!

Too difficult, too stressful. The tight timers make it near impossible to pass levels. It would be better to either extend the timer with different levels or remove it altogether and replace it with a stopwatch that keeps track of the timer it takes to complete each level, and then have players try to beat their fastest times on certain levels. As it currently is though, it is genuinely unplayable without failing repeatedly. Playing this game stressed me out, made me rage, gave me a headache, and honestly made me want to delete it (which I think I’ll go ahead and do). In summary, I do not recommend this app.

No way to advance w/o paying. I have played to Level 142 in two days. I don’t believe there is a solution for level 142 without paying for extra helps. All of the geckos are five squares and there is NO way to move to the goal without paying for helps. 141 levels were challenging but I’m thinking about deleting at this point.

New Challenges. This game has started to infuriate me. The ridiculous short time for this absolutely difficult levels. You get like two easy or medium levels and then another very hard. Then you can’t get past it for days. No way to earn extra help. Now they have new “daily challenges “. You can’t earn those because you can’t get past very hard levels. If something in the game doesn’t change I’M deleting the game!

Too many adds. Even when I click the option after every level to get a smaller amount of coins instead of watching a video, I’m forced to watch a video. So essentially I’m watching it but not getting any coins. This is after each level. Please reduce the amount of adds

Love it. As of now I just passed level 120 and I love the game! Some suggestions on things I’d find interesting to keep me in the game. I’d do another game mode where it’s the same format of levels but take away the timer and make the level harder to pass. Also how about some way to customize the tank the geckos all fall into after each level. Would add layers to the pass and game achievement

I used to love this game. This game used to be super fun. Now, the levels are quite impossible to win unless you use power ups. 1 minute is not nearly enough time to finish some of these levels. It’s disheartening and frankly, not fun anymore. You can also barely find help online since it seems everyone’s levels are different numbers. For example, my 1534 could be someone’s level 1976. Tough to continue playing when it takes DAYS to finish one level.

Timer. I wish the people who download these games have a choice in setting or something to turn off The timer it’s sometimes annoying and makes me want to delete it I wish someone would update this and change that feature of the timer in each level like if we want it on we can keep it but at-least have a off timer button in the settings

Fun until it’s not.. This is a great game… until it’s not. I like strategy games and seeing multiple ways to get there. The very hard levels seemingly have 1 solution and it’s too fickle/fast to even have time to process. I wish there was an untimed version. I am deleting the game because I can’t keep spending the money to pass a level every hard level. Not fun

No leisure option. The game itself is decently set up. The pop ups are a little annoying, but mostly when starting up the game and between levels. It’s a fun and simple game, but every single level is timed. No option for leisure mode for just a fun puzzle to solve and no time constraint. The levels get harder as it goes, which is nice, but not with time limits.

Used to be fun. I loved this game. Super fun and challenging. However, it turned into another game where you can’t play unless you pay for add ons - I even fell for it and bought the gecko pack , this got me only so far and eventually, I came to a point where I couldn’t play anymore without buying more add ons. I’m on level 331 and I had to delete. Not fun if the game is made impossible without purchasing something.

Gecko Pass lapsing. I love this game so much I purchased the Gecko Pass to have 8 lives instead of 5. First time it stopped working (back to 5 lives) I couldn’t restore purchase. Purchased it again and same thing happens. I want a refund for the second purchase because it’s supposed to be a one time payment thing, and have my first purchased restored!

Meh. I downloaded the game a few days ago and it was fun. Just opened it to play and was forced into a seven level challenge against other players. The exact same challenge as every other game uses these days. Sick of living life on repeat, remakes and sequels, I tried to opt out but it wouldn’t let me. I won’t be forced to do anything so I removed the game. It’s just like a thousand other games out there anyway, no attempt at creativity or ingenuity.

Original, interesting, difficult. Enjoy playing for a while until it gets insanely difficult. I do not like timed games. Early on you have plenty of time. Later, not so much. Plus some levels seem to require a power to solve. So it gets 5 stars for how original and enjoyable it is. Just quit while you are ahead

Can’t watch an ad to gain more time.. Wish I could watch an ad to gain More time in a hard level. It only prompts to use your points or purchase time. I’d rather watch a short ad as it helps take a break on my eyes from the game anyway. But then you want 1900 points to give you 20 seconds. come on. Ridiculous. I’ll keep playing until I find a different game that gives better options.

Fun …BUT. This game is fun, but it gets to the point where it is almost too hard and does not allow you to move forward unless you start to buy stuff and pay money to just play then it gets ridiculous. If I want to pay, I will buy something on my own I don’t want to be forced to do it. It doesn’t give you a daily reward so that you can make your way through the game. And it registers as a casual game, but it’s anything but casual.

Too hard; have to spend money to move forward. One of those games that is timed and once you get to a certain level you can’t win without cheats. It costs 1.99 USD to add 17 seconds to the game. I’ve spent money and still didn’t level up. What a scam! I’m a great gamer too and it’s hard to stump me. However when you time a game and make it impossible to win, nobody wins. Would not recommend! Find a similar game that is not timed or fairly timed, do you don’t waste your time nor $$$ Most people that gave positive reviews most likely gave it in the beginning when it was fairly easy and fun.

Sneaky coin gulp. I enjoy this game but when a level ends without winning the screen to use your coins to continue pops up so fast and in the spot on the screen where you would be playing to beat the clock, that it very often gulps up my coins to keep playing when that is not what intend to do. Very frustrating. There needs to be a lag or a different pop up at that level before taking you to play on.

Fun game but…... So I downloaded this because it’s cute and looks fun and relaxing. Unfortunately I noticed rather quickly that it was not that it is IMPOSSIBLE to play without buying the tools to cut or break something. Literally NOT possible because there are walls blocking everything and white ones that have no place. I assume if you pay you will get past the first 50 levels! The first 50 go fast so it not like a lot of game time. Anyways, the geckos are adorable and the concept is from TBH, but I won’t continue to play this because I KNOW it’s a money trap. :(

Fun but then. This game used to be challenging and fun with the new updates. They have just made it nearly impossible to get anything done and when you do get a hard level done, they make the next one even more difficult. It is impossible. They forced you to pay money if you want to continue this game is not as fun as it used to be.

Was fun until it became impossible!. I really enjoyed this game and played quite a lot, until it became impossible to pass a level without spending money. I’ll admit that I spent some money on the game because I was having a great time so I treat myself. The levels keep getting harder with an unreasonable, unrealistic amount of time to solve them. It’s so frustrating! I keep playing hoping that it’ll get better, but it might be time to move on.

No Timer Option. Love the game…however, as I’m getting further along (345), it appears that the levels get to a point where they are almost impossible to pass without using a power-up. I think having a “no timer” option would be great to play like secondary to the main game or something. So much anxiety trying to pass levels that I end up closing the game.

Too hard. There are simply too many obstacles for the given time limit. I’m on level 161 and the time limit is too short. I can get maybe five of the geckos in ther holes before the timer runs out. I would prefer to have a zen mode where I can simply work through the puzzle with out the pressure of a timer. I’m getting frustrated to the point of possibly deleting the app It’s a shame though, because the geckos are really cute and I really wanted to like this app

Game unplayable now. I loved this game but now the game is unplayable bc whenever you reload a level it switches the colors and orientation. It usually takes me a couple of times to figure out how to play these levels out and now I can’t do that. That needs to be solved, or I’ll likely delete this app from my phone and move on to another one.

Too difficult. This game had great potential BUT they made it too difficult. I’m currently on level 438, and I’m guessing I will never get past this level. I have run out of my earned powers and there is honestly no way for me to get past it without them. There are too many other better options out there (one with a slinky, wink wink) that still are challenging enough where you are not bored but not so difficult that they feel impossible. Plus they give you daily challenges to earn coins and powers on a daily basis. Much more satisfying than this.

Had potential but... This game would be worth 5 stars IF it had options to watch an ad to add extra time to the harder levels which seem to be every other level once you get higher up in the game. Some levels are impossible without power ups which are not easy to get especially if you can’t advance in the game so you get stuck on that level until it randomly becomes easier to pass. Since ads are how these games make money, it makes no sense to NOT have that as an option.
