Syncing Is Horrible. Our company switched from Rally to Rally Engage because it is supposed to provide better linkage to our insurance and provide quicker rewards. Well it fails. I joined a step challenge and the syncing is horrible and it even took steps away from what was recorded on my Fitbit two days in a row and kept me from achieving my goal for the month. Several co-workers have had issues with redeeming rewards, as well. I miss the Rally app. So many issues.

Clunky, Useless App. I really hate this new “upgraded” app…it barely works. I miss having a list of City Walks to choose from!Now, every once in a while, it will make one available, vs the old app, there was always a list of city walks to choose from everyday…you could even do multiple ones if so wanted. Also, it absolutely will not sync with my iPhone…I’ve disconnected and reconnected sooo many times!! This new app makes me feel like I’m now being discouraged from making progress, vs. the old app made exercise, mindfulness, etc FUN! Please destroy this app and just go back to the old Rally app…it was waaaay better…this app is awful. It’s pretty much useless.

Clunky and Possible Scam. This app is terrible. It takes forever to login, has trouble checking you in, and twice now, it’s lost my count and started me over mid month. Now I’m not getting my rewards! SOMEONE is, but not me. I’ve always gotten a digital gift card as my reward. Now all the sudden it went to a venmo account. Not mine! How was someone able to make this change without alerting the account holder? Where’s my money? Is this an internal scam???? Where did my money go?

Unable to check off flu shot. Like others, I use this app to get rewards through work. After filling out the initial health survey, needing to uninstall then redownload the app, it’s still giving trouble. Except now, the trouble is with being unable to mark off the y I got a flu shot or certain doctor’s appointments, leaving me unable to redeem financial incentive rewards. please FIX YOUR APP, it’s been months and it’s still terrible.

Could it be any worse???. Is it possible to give the app a rating of 0 stars??? It’s so bad. Why did they change to a new app that is garbage?? Seriously if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. This has been such a pain. First, it took me multiple tries to login and I had to call the helpline and they couldn’t even help me. Finally logged in and now it’s stuck on this one screen during the set up. I have tried clicking the buttons to no avail and refreshing the app multiple times. The app is STILL on the same screen and would not let me move on. So then I redownloaded the app only to have it lock me out again. I guess United Healthcare is tired of shelling out $200 to ppl so they’re weeding out the ones that don’t want to work for it. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Massive bugs upon launch. Fix immediately!. I used the legacy Rally religiously. So when it was time for a completely new app, I was apprehensive but eager to see what updates they’d have. The setup was just fine. Same as creating a new Rally account with the usual health survey. But it all fell apart once you finished entering everything in (which can take a good 30 mins to dig around for test results). The app is stuck on the “finish” screen. You can tap on anything, not even the “skip” option. I’ve closed the app and reopened. I’ve logged out and back in. All to no avail. Given this is how I track my rewards and do my daily check-ins, a hard stop makes this app completely useless. I’ll have to rely on the web version instead which is so cumbersome and clunky.

Doesn't work. Most of the time the app doesn't check you in and so it doesn't count towards my reimbursement goal. Luckily my gym keeps track of my checkins and I've had to send that to rally to verify and even then, they pushed back and said they wouldn't count. I tried logging in through a browser and it didn't work either. Rally support knows and acknowledges that the app is buggy and doesn't fix. This app has one job only and it's pretty basic and it doesn't work.

This version is a fail. Can’t make it past the set-up, and that screen has zero options to move to any other screen. No way to see options, no way to do anything. The app was “promised” for a Jan 1 release, was late, and doesn’t work. I usually blame the managers for not being sufficiently aware of the product when something like this is released. I hope they can learn (and use) their own product - at least have the “managers” and “directors” log into the system every day. This version was a fail.

Not syncing steps. This is horrible, for two days now my steps from Fitbit will not sync. I have deleted and re-installed the app multiple times, disconnected and reconnected my device multiple times. I have tried calling Rally but I get stuck waiting for so long to talk to someone. Nothing changed either, one day it was tracking the steps and the next it wasn’t. It’s so frustrating.

Terrible “Upgrade”. This new app is extremely clunky. It wont sync with my watch to do the steps challenge even though I’ve connected and disconnected so many times. Checking into a gym is quite the challenge as well. I have to constantly use my computer vs iphone app. Its hard to tell where I am on my missions based on the design. The previous rally app was less clunky and worked so much better. I hope the developers and UX designers are looking at these reviews and fix this.

Working but not great. This app is finally working but it’s not great. Like other reviews, the previous app was not good, but this new app is horrible. I accidentally selected ‘restart mission’ and it wiped my entire progress. Why is there even a restart option? Please put in a setting in where I do not have to put in my password each and every single time! This is ridiculous!!

Incredibly buggy, half the functionality doesn't work. Can't enter things where you should be able to, when you open the date screen to set a date for an event it doesnt accept taps anywhere and you can't close out of it without force closing the app. It acts like it's taking manual entry for activities but then when you go back to the main screen all the data that you entered is gone. I haven't found one thing that works right on this app yet. Only using it because I have to for work...

Terrible app. Had to log out and log in multiple times to set it up. Then when it got to the “end” of registration, it won’t let me finish. “Finish” button to connect fitness tracker never works. To make it even more fun, the “skip” button doesn’t let me skip!! Hope the people who came up with this don’t have anything to do with actual healthcare!

Downhill. This app seems to replace Rally Rewards. Rally rewards was not a very good experience to begin with… it was bearable. The “all new” Rally Engage makes it worse. I had to register three times before the app would allow me to login. I have attached my fitness tracker, as instructed, yet it still shows that my fitness tracker is not connected. And the confusion between Focus areas, missions, activities, and all these things make knowing what you’re doing very difficult. It’s almost impossible to know where you are or what you’ve registered to do. It’s even more difficult to know if you completed part of an activity! The information hierarchy and architecture, user interface and choice of labels and controls are infuriating. Finding time to be healthy and exercise is difficult enough, but when you layer technology on top of it and make it even more confusing, it becomes really frustrating. And why does every tap or change of page require a page to load for a few seconds? Why do I need to log in again every time I open this app? This kind of thing should be seamless and integrated into a healthy lifestyle. It should complement and support hard work, not add to it. It should be motivating, not demotivating. It should be simple, not complex. It should be natural. Please fix this garbage.

Can’t even log into the app. I called the number displayed in the error message, wasted about half an hour talking to them to no avail, only to receive an email later saying I needed to reach out to a different team about my Health Safe ID with no name or contact information provided. The old app worked just fine, no idea why they decided to make a new one that doesn’t even work.

Terrible app. Interface is not working. Frozen for the most part. Gym does not show up for most time. Process bar never get update so you have no chance to completed the required activity that your employer ask in order to received the benefit. App doesn’t allow check in on all mission as the touch interface froze up after one check in. Have to restart it multiple times. They should have stayed with the previous Rally app before rollout this one.

Quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used…. …which is even more frustrating when you account for the fact that the original Rally app worked perfectly fine for years. It seems almost nothing works on this new app: Pages take forever to load. It says your tracker isn’t connected on the home page, even when it clearly is connected under your account settings. Finding challenges is super non-intuitive / requires multiple clicks & pages. When you do finally find them, the challenge descriptions are cut off with no way to expand text. And you have to enter your password every single time you open the app?? Can we just go back to the old one, please?

It’s just a bad product. 1/16 update,. app still not doing what it’s supposed to be doing and the basic things like back page is not available. also here’s some fun tidbits,. i’ve chk into those who gave 4 stars to keep this horrible outsource build app alive ,. they are paid account for mkting like bots review,. i think the company should invest that bots money into using a bot to help build this app instead. Sad. I think i will need to contact my company to either stop their service with them to save our money. Wow where do i begin,. i rarely give review but the trouble that this app or webbase interface has be endure had gain my attention to first give it the minimum amount of star possible which is one (prefer none). Now this app and web interface is so broken that even the phone operator was stump over the phone of how things didn’t work. If it wasn’t company sponsored with some rewards i would not have this app on my phone at all,. currently i have this app sitting in my “trash” folder. UI is not complete,. not what u call intuitive,. as if this was out source multiple times to c different contractor to piece together like a zombie. Anyway,. in short,. not a fan and if i had a choice i will prefer not to use it,. or the company’s product.

Glitchy. I have to kill the app and restart it on pretty much every page. Some of the pages take you through several steps that could be avoided, because once you make a selection it has you make them same selection before finally actually taking you to the page. The health survey asked me questions that I had to answer to move on but weren’t relevant to my last answer, such as “has the transportation affected your ability to get to appointments?” even though I had just selected that I didn’t have any problems with that or “what colorectal cancer screening did you have?” even though none of my answers stated I even had this done. I’ll come back and update my review when I can get through the app without it timing out, loading blank pages, or needing to be restarted.

You should have waited to launch. This app is so difficult to use. This app is taking money out of our pockets because you can’t track steps reliably. Or give credit for things accomplished. In addition the multiple times I have to sign in every time! Let’s make that easier. And finally, the screens are poorly designed. I have words on top of words and I can’t read and figure out where I’m Supposed to push buttons. Your UI needs help.

Ineffective. I’ve been stuck on the final set up step “connect a fitness tracker” for weeks now… I click finish, nothing happens. I click skip, nothing happens. I close out the app and re-login (both same day and waiting 24 hours) and it brings me back to the same place. Really frustrating that this appears to have so many bugs and isn’t allowing me to maintain a perk of my workplace’s benefits program.

Unusable. If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. I have been stuck in the “getting started menu” since downloading. The last step is to connect a fitness tracker, however the “finish” and “skip” buttons do nothing. There is no way to move forward or access my profile. And to make matters even more frustrating? You cannot connect a tracker using the website; you must use the app. Useless.

Zero stars. It’s that bad. The app and the webpage portal both simply crash repeatedly when trying to log-in for the gym check-ins. Neither will recognize my device and tries to authenticate with text messaging to my phone every single time. I’ve called Rally customer support, which always requires a 15-20 minute hold time before an agent answers. They essentially tell you that Rally Engage system doesn’t work due to technical issues. For gym check-ins, their proposed solution is for members is hilarious; they recommend calling in to Rally customer support (another 20-30 mins of hold time) to report your gym check-in. Hilarity! This is the worst app I’ve ever been forced to use.

Not WORKING!. Features broken. Activity tracking all over. Just the worst experience. No face log on, every time needs password!!!!! Cannot sync steps reliably. App was also late of the promised date. Will recommend our company to ditch this. If you can avoid this at any cost. Hope it get better but after making few tickets and not getting replies not holding my breath.

App is Horrible!!. The app is terrible. My user profile shows as incomplete although I’ve completed the profile including the fitness tracker where applicable. Pending the day, I’m unable to mark a mission as completed no matter. There is one mission I’ve started however the app doesn’t save the join mission selection I’ve selected every day because I see the join mission icon illuminated each day. This app is riddled with many bugs which need to fixed! Certainly not ready for “go live”. The old app was much better in my opinion. And this referenced as an upgrade? Please fix the bugs because as of this moment, it’s not much of an upgrade 😖

Ruined the original. The original rally app was not great and had a lot of room for improvement and that’s exactly why this is so disappointing. They took something that was okay to something horrible. It’s hard to navigate through the app, it doesn’t save your information so every time you open the app it asks for your health ID, doesn’t seem to log my steps or even check ins until later that day or next day. It just seems if you’re going to recreate an app make it better not worse.

Garbage. This is a barely functional app. Most of the features remain broken, even after yesterday’s bug fix update. Even if the features worked, the app is incredibly slow to navigate. Lastly it’s extremely inefficient in to navigate, requiring too many clicks to get to my desired screen. The prior rally app had its shortcomings, but this version flat out does not work.

Frustrating and Faulty. Very little of this app actually works. Syncing is such a problem. Having to log in every. single. time. is beyond obnoxious. A lot of the employer rewards don’t reward you after you complete the task. Stride no longer works in rewarding you after 12 days of hitting your step goals after the recent update. Really makes you wonder how much these folks actually care about the health of their customers…

Not ready for use. United healthcare rolled out this app before it was ready to be implemented. It is cumbersome to log into every single time and a large portion of the tracking functions do not work. I get money back for logging workouts and it will not allow me to access the monthly challenges or log them. Disappointing and frustrating to know the old app was working and they replaced it with one that does not.

Still trash. Since the app “upgrade” from Rally to Rally Engage it’s useless. There have been some version updates with “bug fixes” however none of the bugs get fixed. I’ve seen other apps that they fix one and cause another but they haven’t resolved any. This was a good app now it’s like they don’t want us to be able to use our benefits and they’ve intentionally broke it.

Inept and waste of time. By far this is the most incomplete and useless app that I have used in the last 10 years . My org has floated a challenge through this app. Right from log in, navigation , syncing , reflection in leaderboard ….every step of the way the performance is inefficient , consumes a lot of time and still no good results . One wonders if the app has been tested before releasing for public use

Complete Garbage. First: who are the people giving this five stars. 😂 probably the maker of the app. I completely agree with everyone on here. This “Upgraded” Rally app is useless. Connecting tracker is laughable. I’ve tried everything and I can’t complete the registration process even though the app says my iPhone and watch is connected. If you join a mission it won’t be there the next day. Complete waist of time.

What?. I was able to complete the signup in the web interface but then it tells me that in order for it to track activity it has to know my location which can only be done through the phone app. BUT on the app it doesn’t let me finish the sign in. When it comes to the screen to set up the email I can either select NEXT or SKIP but neither works! What a crappy app!

Garbage. This app is completely useless. The gym check in feature hardly ever works. Even if I am sitting in the gym and slide to check in, it doesn’t register. Other time the gym location doesn’t show any gyms near me when I am at a Planet Fitness. My apple Health/watch often doesn’t sync to populate steps or miles. It is extremely frustrating! There are so many glitches in this app. The original Rally app was much better.

Check in feature not working. Been unable to check in for my gym visits for the past month. The check in feature does not list any gyms nearby, despite me standing right in front of the gym. I have tried turning on my location services while the app is running and switching it to “Always” but it still does not seem to update the nearby gym list. I logged into rally engage through the website on my mobile browser and the check in feature there is showing all my nearby gyms. Please fix your app.

Was wondering why 1 star.. They must have hired the cheapest devs out there for this. I have to re-login multiple times a day, no challenges generate, and it doesn’t even count my steps. I don’t know why they couldn’t just adapt the old app. This is one of the most unprofessional apps I have ever seen or had to use. Are decent devs really that expensive? Heck, they could have hired just one really good dev and let them use AI for a month and this would have turned out a lot better.

Completely broken. After this last update, I was finally able to finish registering, only to find that none of the functions actually work. Why on earth did they eliminate the functional old web portal and force us to use a new app that simply doesn’t work at all? What were they thinking? Was the plan to make sure that no one can finish any objectives, so no one can claim any rewards?

Fitness Tracker Won’t Sync. This app replaces the Rally Rewards “app” which wasn’t an app but more of a redirect to their website. It was already awful but manageable. In order to get your Rally Rewards now, you have to have this app. And in short, it doesn’t work. My fitness tracker won’t sync at all. The only trouble shooting it gives is to make sure my Fitbit is synced, which it is because I see it on the old Rally Rewards. But the Rally Engage won’t sync it, therefore no reward. For a health app, this is absolute garbage.

Useless. I can’t even get past the initial setup. The last step is to link a fitness tracker but the only options on screen are a finish button and a skip button, neither of which do anything except make the screen flash. I was able to get into the website but the options to add a fitness tracker direct you to the app. Hard to use the app when you can’t even fully login to it.

Syncing woes and frustrations. Constant syncing issues. This app confirms that it is synced with my tracking device, but it won’t track my steps or anything automatically. I’ve given the apps permission to communicate with eachother, track steps, exercise, etc. I’ve tried connecting and reconnecting my tracking device (in this case my iPhone using the Health app), re-syncing, etc. and still nothing. I’ll note that it worked (tracked my steps) for a couple of days when I first downloaded the app, but it hasn’t for a while now. Very disappointed with Rally Engage. The real Rally app from Rally Health, Inc. is far superior, and still tracks my steps perfectly with no issues, and is generally more user friendly.

Unable to mark when I’ve completed a mission. I am not sure why we switched to this version of the app because it does not work as well as the previous app. I have joined 2 missions but am unable to mark my daily progress on them. I am also unable to join any other missions. I have to log in every day, only to not be able to do anything once I’m in the app. Disappointing because I really was motivated by tracking my progress in the previous version. Please fix these issues.

When changes are made for the sake of change. This app is a prime example of companies wanting to make changes cause “change is hip” or whatever marketing term is being used these days. The old app worked fine, there was zero reason to rebrand is and release this steaming pile of garbage. App setup is near impossible, and if you are able to get through that, trying to redeem employer rewards doesn’t work. It doesn’t sync steps with a tracker enabled. I feel like they made it aweful on purpose so they didn’t have to pay out rewards and could just keep the money they received from companies and insurance.

The app is broken. It crashes frequently, won’t let me access more than one mission, won’t allow me to use the same email for communications as the one I used to sign in to Rally itself, and even when it’s working, doesn’t tell me what I can do to earn rewards like the old app did. This app is broken and should be removed from the app store until they fix it.

Nothing works. BUTTONS ARE LOCATED OFF THE PHONE SCREEN!! It took DAYS of trying to get logged in!! I can’t find all my employer’s rewards (the only reason to have this app), and can’t complete those I can find because THE COMPLETE BUTTON IS SOMEWHERE BELOW THE SCREEN!! It keeps insisting it needs my location (it has no valid reason to have that info). After many tries, I finally got steps synced from my Apple Watch, but only once, it won’t update it again even days later. NOTHING WORKS.

I am once again asking for your [app] support. It’s been a week since i first tried logging into this godforsaken app. nothing has changed. I still cannot access my health rewards or data, and 3 of your customer support reps said it would be done and ready by Monday 1/20! Beth, Darren, and Michelle all told me to wait a few days, the latest day it would be ready would be 1/20. it is 1/21 and still no change. i am incredibly frustrated with Optum’s “great” new app, and your customer service that doesn’t seem to know anything about the access issues. I want my fitness reimbursement, darn it!

APP IS HORRIBLE - NEEDS BETTER PROGRAMMING. This app doesn’t work! It won’t let users check-in for workouts when you are out of the country regardless if you workout at a hotel or resort This is the first epic fail. To make it worse, the app nor website work to allow users to check in when in the US. What’s the point? Please update the programming of your app so users actually get the benefit of the app. The current version is a huge failure!!!!!

Awful app. This is a horrible app. The old Rally was so much better. Even though my tracker is activated on the app, it does not track my steps automatically. It was difficult to set up and I still have things that don’t acknowledge when I click on them. I have a mission that I didn’t check and I can’t remove it from the list. It still hasn’t acknowledged my biometric screening which was done over a month ago. I will never be able to complete my goals if this doesn’t work correctly!

Horrible app. I was finally able to able to complete 3 of of the 4 steps to set up the app after having to reinstall the app several times. The app does not allow me to complete the final step of adding my fitness tracker. I have tried everything!! I called customer service and waited a long time for someone to speak to so I could get their help. The agent was not able to help me and she created a “ticket” but I have not received any response. I am on hold again to try to speak to someone again but I am on hold and it has been 30 minutes and still waiting. UHC please fix your app or Rally Engage company please fix your app.

Miserable app. This is a complete failure of functionality with no sense of purpose or design. Unfortunately, you cannot use Face ID to login so you are forced to type in your passcode each and every time you want to log into this miserable application. It is a terrible attempt at helping people with the prospect of modest financial incentives. I’m sure at some point down the road we will all learn this app is gathering more data than we approved and somehow being used for nefarious purposes.

Barely Functional. You can’t verify your flu shot on the mobile app because it just completely glitches out. If you have more than one city walk challenge going on, it applies all of your steps to the first one and not the rest. The previous days don’t actually register either despite being linked to my exercise/step counting app. Just ridiculous how unusable it is.

Buggy mess. This app is essentially unusable. Not only is the log-in through healthsafe-id super inconsistent, but the date picker in the app is completely broken. This makes it so you can’t even upload receipts for reimbursement, because the app requires you to select the corresponding dates before it will permit you to advance. Many of my coworkers are reporting the same experience. Please fix!

horrible. The app keeps deleting my achievement progress, requires me to log in every time, is slow and buggy, and doesn’t sync my steps. It really does seem like nothing is working properly and is several steps down from the integrated rally app experience. Even the desktop interface is buggy for an attempted workaround. App needs an overhaul or reset ASAP

Another failure by Rally. Can’t setup this app to sync my steps with my iPhone. It says it tracking my steps through my iPhone, but there are no steps. It makes me wonder if Rally will ever get it right. It’s also hard to see the check boxes since they are so small and have a very thin line with white inside and surrounding it. So better! The other Rally app was so much better.

Genuinely, nothing seems to work in this app. Can’t ever seem to sync steps and when it does half the data is missing. No search or alphabetical sorting options for gift cards in the reward redemption section which is unimaginably tedious. Every page you navigate too is glitchy and doesn’t load properly. This app is really really bad.

Check in feature not working. Been unable to check in for my gym visits for the past month. The check in feature does not list any gyms nearby, despite me standing right in front of the gym. I have tried turning on my location services while the app is running and switching it to “Always” but it still does not seem to update the nearby gym list. I logged into rally engage through the website on my mobile browser and the check in feature there is showing all my nearby gyms. Please fix your app.

This version is a fail. Can’t make it past the set-up, and that screen has zero options to move to any other screen. No way to see options, no way to do anything. The app was “promised” for a Jan 1 release, was late, and doesn’t work. I usually blame the managers for not being sufficiently aware of the product when something like this is released. I hope they can learn (and use) their own product - at least have the “managers” and “directors” log into the system every day. This version was a fail.

Terrible app. Interface is not working. Frozen for the most part. Gym does not show up for most time. Process bar never get update so you have no chance to completed the required activity that your employer ask in order to received the benefit. App doesn’t allow check in on all mission as the touch interface froze up after one check in. Have to restart it multiple times. They should have stayed with the previous Rally app before rollout this one.

Doesn't work. Most of the time the app doesn't check you in and so it doesn't count towards my reimbursement goal. Luckily my gym keeps track of my checkins and I've had to send that to rally to verify and even then, they pushed back and said they wouldn't count. I tried logging in through a browser and it didn't work either. Rally support knows and acknowledges that the app is buggy and doesn't fix. This app has one job only and it's pretty basic and it doesn't work.

Barely Functional. You can’t verify your flu shot on the mobile app because it just completely glitches out. If you have more than one city walk challenge going on, it applies all of your steps to the first one and not the rest. The previous days don’t actually register either despite being linked to my exercise/step counting app. Just ridiculous how unusable it is.

Useless. I can’t even get past the initial setup. The last step is to link a fitness tracker but the only options on screen are a finish button and a skip button, neither of which do anything except make the screen flash. I was able to get into the website but the options to add a fitness tracker direct you to the app. Hard to use the app when you can’t even fully login to it.

Ineffective. I’ve been stuck on the final set up step “connect a fitness tracker” for weeks now… I click finish, nothing happens. I click skip, nothing happens. I close out the app and re-login (both same day and waiting 24 hours) and it brings me back to the same place. Really frustrating that this appears to have so many bugs and isn’t allowing me to maintain a perk of my workplace’s benefits program.

Syncing Is Horrible. Our company switched from Rally to Rally Engage because it is supposed to provide better linkage to our insurance and provide quicker rewards. Well it fails. I joined a step challenge and the syncing is horrible and it even took steps away from what was recorded on my Fitbit two days in a row and kept me from achieving my goal for the month. Several co-workers have had issues with redeeming rewards, as well. I miss the Rally app. So many issues.

You should have waited to launch. This app is so difficult to use. This app is taking money out of our pockets because you can’t track steps reliably. Or give credit for things accomplished. In addition the multiple times I have to sign in every time! Let’s make that easier. And finally, the screens are poorly designed. I have words on top of words and I can’t read and figure out where I’m Supposed to push buttons. Your UI needs help.

Technically challenged. Our company going to this app was a big mistake. My staff and I are constantly in contact with customers services because of it not working properly. It can’t track your steps. It doesn’t let you change anything you’re constantly being told you have to delete it and. Reboot it truly just causes you frustration.

Clunky, Useless App. I really hate this new “upgraded” app…it barely works. I miss having a list of City Walks to choose from!Now, every once in a while, it will make one available, vs the old app, there was always a list of city walks to choose from everyday…you could even do multiple ones if so wanted. Also, it absolutely will not sync with my iPhone…I’ve disconnected and reconnected sooo many times!! This new app makes me feel like I’m now being discouraged from making progress, vs. the old app made exercise, mindfulness, etc FUN! Please destroy this app and just go back to the old Rally app…it was waaaay better…this app is awful. It’s pretty much useless.

Setup Issue. Can’t make it past the setup screen. Contacted Rally for support, got a ticket number and was told they would reach out in 3 business days…7+ days later and nothing so far. I see some other posts with similar issues with setup. Would be nice if Rally would fix the bug and communicate that they know of this issue and when it is fixed.

Huge downgrade. Huge downgrade to the other rally app. I have to log in twice every time I open the app. The pages are laggy, never refresh, and the app crashes all the time. Only reason I can see this app exists is to help reduce the amount of awards that are paid out because everyone gives up using it. The developers should be ashamed this made it into production.

Ruined the original. The original rally app was not great and had a lot of room for improvement and that’s exactly why this is so disappointing. They took something that was okay to something horrible. It’s hard to navigate through the app, it doesn’t save your information so every time you open the app it asks for your health ID, doesn’t seem to log my steps or even check ins until later that day or next day. It just seems if you’re going to recreate an app make it better not worse.

Was wondering why 1 star.. They must have hired the cheapest devs out there for this. I have to re-login multiple times a day, no challenges generate, and it doesn’t even count my steps. I don’t know why they couldn’t just adapt the old app. This is one of the most unprofessional apps I have ever seen or had to use. Are decent devs really that expensive? Heck, they could have hired just one really good dev and let them use AI for a month and this would have turned out a lot better.

The app is broken. It crashes frequently, won’t let me access more than one mission, won’t allow me to use the same email for communications as the one I used to sign in to Rally itself, and even when it’s working, doesn’t tell me what I can do to earn rewards like the old app did. This app is broken and should be removed from the app store until they fix it.

Garbage. This is a barely functional app. Most of the features remain broken, even after yesterday’s bug fix update. Even if the features worked, the app is incredibly slow to navigate. Lastly it’s extremely inefficient in to navigate, requiring too many clicks to get to my desired screen. The prior rally app had its shortcomings, but this version flat out does not work.

Unable to check off flu shot. Like others, I use this app to get rewards through work. After filling out the initial health survey, needing to uninstall then redownload the app, it’s still giving trouble. Except now, the trouble is with being unable to mark off the y I got a flu shot or certain doctor’s appointments, leaving me unable to redeem financial incentive rewards. please FIX YOUR APP, it’s been months and it’s still terrible.

Awful app. This is a horrible app. The old Rally was so much better. Even though my tracker is activated on the app, it does not track my steps automatically. It was difficult to set up and I still have things that don’t acknowledge when I click on them. I have a mission that I didn’t check and I can’t remove it from the list. It still hasn’t acknowledged my biometric screening which was done over a month ago. I will never be able to complete my goals if this doesn’t work correctly!

Inept and waste of time. By far this is the most incomplete and useless app that I have used in the last 10 years . My org has floated a challenge through this app. Right from log in, navigation , syncing , reflection in leaderboard ….every step of the way the performance is inefficient , consumes a lot of time and still no good results . One wonders if the app has been tested before releasing for public use

Completely broken. After this last update, I was finally able to finish registering, only to find that none of the functions actually work. Why on earth did they eliminate the functional old web portal and force us to use a new app that simply doesn’t work at all? What were they thinking? Was the plan to make sure that no one can finish any objectives, so no one can claim any rewards?

App not working!. Way to buggy! I can get past any selection before it freezes. I have been trying to do my gym check in the entire month of January and have only ever got 3 to work. Need 3 more to be complete and it’s been bugging out the past two weeks. Please go back to the other app. It seemed to work way better. What was the reason for change?

What?. I was able to complete the signup in the web interface but then it tells me that in order for it to track activity it has to know my location which can only be done through the phone app. BUT on the app it doesn’t let me finish the sign in. When it comes to the screen to set up the email I can either select NEXT or SKIP but neither works! What a crappy app!

APP IS HORRIBLE - NEEDS BETTER PROGRAMMING. This app doesn’t work! It won’t let users check-in for workouts when you are out of the country regardless if you workout at a hotel or resort This is the first epic fail. To make it worse, the app nor website work to allow users to check in when in the US. What’s the point? Please update the programming of your app so users actually get the benefit of the app. The current version is a huge failure!!!!!

I am once again asking for your [app] support. It’s been a week since i first tried logging into this godforsaken app. nothing has changed. I still cannot access my health rewards or data, and 3 of your customer support reps said it would be done and ready by Monday 1/20! Beth, Darren, and Michelle all told me to wait a few days, the latest day it would be ready would be 1/20. it is 1/21 and still no change. i am incredibly frustrated with Optum’s “great” new app, and your customer service that doesn’t seem to know anything about the access issues. I want my fitness reimbursement, darn it!

Unable to mark when I’ve completed a mission. I am not sure why we switched to this version of the app because it does not work as well as the previous app. I have joined 2 missions but am unable to mark my daily progress on them. I am also unable to join any other missions. I have to log in every day, only to not be able to do anything once I’m in the app. Disappointing because I really was motivated by tracking my progress in the previous version. Please fix these issues.

Not Functional. If one cannot get past the verification stage, what is even the point, other than that participation is required by my employer to reduce my insurance premiums. Is this company a front for money laundering? Is the goal theft or swindling by designed malfunction? Why go from the functional former app to this mess if not just to take someone else’s money without a commensurate product or service in return?

Working but not great. This app is finally working but it’s not great. Like other reviews, the previous app was not good, but this new app is horrible. I accidentally selected ‘restart mission’ and it wiped my entire progress. Why is there even a restart option? Please put in a setting in where I do not have to put in my password each and every single time! This is ridiculous!!

Fitness Tracker Won’t Sync. This app replaces the Rally Rewards “app” which wasn’t an app but more of a redirect to their website. It was already awful but manageable. In order to get your Rally Rewards now, you have to have this app. And in short, it doesn’t work. My fitness tracker won’t sync at all. The only trouble shooting it gives is to make sure my Fitbit is synced, which it is because I see it on the old Rally Rewards. But the Rally Engage won’t sync it, therefore no reward. For a health app, this is absolute garbage.

Nothing works. BUTTONS ARE LOCATED OFF THE PHONE SCREEN!! It took DAYS of trying to get logged in!! I can’t find all my employer’s rewards (the only reason to have this app), and can’t complete those I can find because THE COMPLETE BUTTON IS SOMEWHERE BELOW THE SCREEN!! It keeps insisting it needs my location (it has no valid reason to have that info). After many tries, I finally got steps synced from my Apple Watch, but only once, it won’t update it again even days later. NOTHING WORKS.

Not WORKING!. Features broken. Activity tracking all over. Just the worst experience. No face log on, every time needs password!!!!! Cannot sync steps reliably. App was also late of the promised date. Will recommend our company to ditch this. If you can avoid this at any cost. Hope it get better but after making few tickets and not getting replies not holding my breath.

Clunky and Possible Scam. This app is terrible. It takes forever to login, has trouble checking you in, and twice now, it’s lost my count and started me over mid month. Now I’m not getting my rewards! SOMEONE is, but not me. I’ve always gotten a digital gift card as my reward. Now all the sudden it went to a venmo account. Not mine! How was someone able to make this change without alerting the account holder? Where’s my money? Is this an internal scam???? Where did my money go?

Horrible app. I was finally able to able to complete 3 of of the 4 steps to set up the app after having to reinstall the app several times. The app does not allow me to complete the final step of adding my fitness tracker. I have tried everything!! I called customer service and waited a long time for someone to speak to so I could get their help. The agent was not able to help me and she created a “ticket” but I have not received any response. I am on hold again to try to speak to someone again but I am on hold and it has been 30 minutes and still waiting. UHC please fix your app or Rally Engage company please fix your app.

Frustrating and Faulty. Very little of this app actually works. Syncing is such a problem. Having to log in every. single. time. is beyond obnoxious. A lot of the employer rewards don’t reward you after you complete the task. Stride no longer works in rewarding you after 12 days of hitting your step goals after the recent update. Really makes you wonder how much these folks actually care about the health of their customers…

Not syncing steps. This is horrible, for two days now my steps from Fitbit will not sync. I have deleted and re-installed the app multiple times, disconnected and reconnected my device multiple times. I have tried calling Rally but I get stuck waiting for so long to talk to someone. Nothing changed either, one day it was tracking the steps and the next it wasn’t. It’s so frustrating.

Can’t even log into the app. I called the number displayed in the error message, wasted about half an hour talking to them to no avail, only to receive an email later saying I needed to reach out to a different team about my Health Safe ID with no name or contact information provided. The old app worked just fine, no idea why they decided to make a new one that doesn’t even work.

Not ready for use. United healthcare rolled out this app before it was ready to be implemented. It is cumbersome to log into every single time and a large portion of the tracking functions do not work. I get money back for logging workouts and it will not allow me to access the monthly challenges or log them. Disappointing and frustrating to know the old app was working and they replaced it with one that does not.
