Worked great… once. I uploaded one pdf and it worked great! Anytime I try to open another one I just get the spinning circle that eventually times out. Def don’t recommend!

Poor reading skills. So when I take a picture of the page when it reads it back half of it Is not correctly matching up to what is on the book. I make sure I take a clear picture and it Still doesn’t match up right. So I’m gonna cancel the membership effective immediately.

Best in this field…. Thanks developer, a few fonts broken, fix those, improve a bit more…

Recommend this app. I tried this app, I have a lot of physical books, I would like to listen this book. This app makes it easy for me. It still reads the content of the link of the website. So far it is good for me, I will buy a life time plan.

Exceptional. I’ve tried a LOT of AI reading apps. All of them, even with a purchase subscription, limit how much you can use it. THIS ONE DOESN’T. I love it so so much. I am an avid reader, so apps like speechify, while high quality during your word limit, but then you get an unusable voice until your next month starts, this app doesn’t have that kind of limit. You can use it to your heart’s content in a good voice, male or female. I usually load up pdfs for reading, and it works great. Small issue that actually make me giggle: if there’s a curse word in the text, the narrator will change it to something less offensive. It did this to me the first time and I CACKLED since the scene I read really lost its mood with the change. (Request this be fixed, though it’s hilarious) Another issue is that it will sometimes put in weird breaks. Like “content to read here” before reading the next paragraph. Or a gap in speaking. Not a deal breaker by any means but a little jarring when you are in a good part of the story. (Please fix) We also have the option of DOWNLOADING THE AUDIO FILE OFFLINE!!!! This is HUGE! I read while I drive and I’ve twice now ran out of my monthly data while using this app because it streams. Being able to download the file is such a wonderful convenience! I just downloaded my first file last night so haven’t had a chance to see if the quality is better, or if the glitches are gone yet, but doesn’t matter. I will still be able to read offline while I drive. One small improvement that I think would be fantastic for this option is a timer or a percent to see how far we have in the download. The download takes a significant amount of time to complete which I understand because it’s literally building an audio file while also downloading it to your device simultaneously. But I would love to know how long it would take while doing so. All in all, a fantastic app. I’m able to read anything I have now and it’s a huge relief and convenience since I have so many books that currently have no audio. Thank you so much for this. It helps us all that have disabilities and can’t use our eyes to read.

Review. This is amazing so easy and I love it it is easily. Aten out of ten it’s free and you can type scan do voiceovers all I do is scan the pages of my book and save it and it reads to me easily the best app ever

Highly recommend. Medical student Australia This app is absolutely awesome. There are so many words in my medical course that I can’t pronounce. I use copy and paste in this app and I’m learning to say a lot of these words that are almost impossible for me to work out. I highly recommend this app.

Disappointed. I purchased this to read my pdf docs while I drive but apparently there is a character limit even with the purchased version. It’s useless to me.

Helped a lot with homework!!. I really like this app when I need to remember a lot for different classes HOWEVER I would love if they added a feature to repeat the audio because it’s so annoying having to replay it evey 5 minutes when I just want to constantly listen to it.

Don’t buy. I keep getting a message that I reached my limit and that I need to upgrade. I contacted them and their response is “Due to technical and operational considerations, we are currently unable to offer unlimited chat sessions. However, you can continue to use the app after waiting a while, as the limits reset periodically.”

Awsome. ChatGPT recommended for me to use this for my “Forza motorsport” style narrative voiceovers for vehicle specifications and history and the sam voice is exactly what i was hoping for sounds like a voiceover they would use in the game 10/10 absolute cinema

My review. The app stopped working in the middle of my book. You promised me three days of using the app and it just stopped working. I want you to get the $39 a year on the app but I think I’m gonna change my mind.

Paid for the year. Unfortunately, this app has not met expectations. Despite paying for it, the app is unreliable and frequently fails to work as intended. Core features don’t function consistently, making it hard to justify the cost. I hope the developers address these problems, but until then, I can’t recommend it. I have emailed for a refund and nothing has been done!

Had to have vocal cord surgery and not talk. I used this. Helpful app. Annoying that the survey pops up after every comment

Weekly upload limit. I reached the weekly upload limit for some reason but it doesn’t let me check my subscription to find out the details in paying for or what the limit is

Horrible!. This app is so far off from reading the pages I have scanned. If it doesn’t recognize words it just skips them. I can’t even follow along in my book because it is skipping multiple lines making it sound like a whole different story.

Love it!. I really appreciate this app. I don’t particularly like to read however Listen AI hits the ground running. I can listen and generate critical thoughts about any given content rather quickly. Thanks!

Buggy. App crashed constantly. I would get about a few paragraphs in and it would shut down and I had to reboot and try again. When it got the the point of crashing every sentence I gave up.

Good app. I like that voice is a normal and not robotic voice. Read Everything goes in order. The price is not so expensive too.

Loved this app but I feel like in being taken advantage of. I used this app for a while and have successfully exported audios until recently. Now pdfs that have way less characters than I used before are being declined from exporting, which is weird considering i paid for the service.

Lagging and slowwwww. I am disappointed because I pay for the pro and it won’t let me scroll down to the chapter I want. No instead it freezes constantly and I have to exit and go back in to try again. I just want to scroll down to a certain chapter. This is a garbage app.

Cant edit a document after creating it?????. Either I am really dumb ot the UI is trash because there is seemingly no way to edit after you type text text and save it as a file. Please just have a "edit" button so I dont have to create a new file everytime i need to speak a new sentence.

Frustrated. The voice quality is excellent, however, this lags horribly and will just sit and spool. Very frustratng when trying to get through my reading for school. Even when downloaded, it still is no better. Also, very difficult to pause or move forward.

Charged after cancelation. I scheduled for my subscription not to auto renew however they ended up charging it a few days prior to the renewal. Period. So I paid for another payment which I shouldn’t have. I haven’t been seriously impressed with that app. It’s kind of glitchy and it’s hard to kind of manage some of the functions.

On app camera not working. I have contacted your support team multiple of times regarding an issue where both my iPad and camera are unable to take pictures of the book with the app. The problem has not been resolved.

Great app!!. Love it, does exactly what I need when I need it. Limited sight and hard to read small text even blown up.

Not satisfied. This app struggled with converting from pdf files, using web addresses, scanning more than a few pages. It did work when I scanned 6 pages but originally I was hoping for 24 and it shut down on me each time I tried. I will not be using this app unfortunately.

Hope a competitor comes that includes the great voices in this scam app. Had to cancel and ask for a refund. Extremely laggy, can’t open large books, doesn’t have chapter hyperlinks, and doesn’t have a tablet version. Disappointing because amazing voices at fast speeds. I emailed support and got back an AI response not even attempting to read or respond to the actual issues. How insulting.

So glad to find this app. I’ve been looking foran app to read to me while recovering from a concussion that affects my vision.

New to read text. This is great, no more trying to squint to read or getting my light just right. I can progress through my day with the book coming right into my ears. Works in background too

Changes text and leaves out sentences. Downloaded this and scanned three chapters of the book I'm reading .. and it sounded strange didn't make sense. So I opened the book to read along with the voice, and the voice is changing what the book says.. changing words, leaving out sentences and reversing some things. I deleted that scan and re-scanned and it did the same thing.

Just got it and I love it. I was trying to read some very complex chemical-mathematical texts and couldn’t figure out what it meant because I couldn’t read it properly.

Terrible, I want my 20$ back!!. This is the worst app ever invented! I spent 20$ on this for it to read me 2 sentences! Also when I bought it, it didn’t even say how much it was. I want my money back immediately! I am a college student and cannot afford to spend this type of money on an app that will not help me!

Frozen…and I’m not talking Elsa.. I wish this would have worked but it kept freezing. I tried every way to submit the document. PDF, copy and paste, link, etc. It was working at first, but even then the pauses in between thoughts were LONG — even after speeding up the voice — and the unintuitive pauses after words like “Mrs.” left much to be desired.

Duped. I downloaded this app and paid the premium so that I could take papers and materials that I need to learn and listen to audio versions so far all I'm listening to is silence because it won't do anything beyond load and if I try and scroll down to skip apart that will then cause it to load and even short outif the developers see this, I would like to just get my money back, please

Time. I wanted to save time. So I downloaded this app - it took ages to upload 35 pages. Then it just sat there and thought for ages after I clicked save a listen - then it all erased after I must have bummed the wrong thing. Now, I am just too annoyed. I am trying to save time - not waste a half hour!!

Text to speech. It worked I guess messed up on a bunch of words that I scanned and you had to pay $10 a week

A very good app, but it’s got a little pricey.. This app was one of my favorite AI reader apps. It used to cost only a few dollars a month, which is a reasonable, but the price increase this last time. I’m not sure if I will renew again at the current price level.

Good for 10 minutes. It was going great I was listening and everything was good but then like 10 minutes after listening it stopped and said, “time reached pay for more” so terrible app but had so much potential

I love Listen AI. The voice is clear , the sound is perfect , the listening is an amazing experience. I absolutely loved it and I recommend it to all .

Falsely advertised. If you pay for the subscription, whether it is a year or month to month they’ll cap your listening experience saying “you’ve reached your weekly limit” even though it clearly is advertised as “unlimited listening experience”. App functions just fine but be advised you will be capped.

Good app. This has helped so far on day one. I look forward to using it more. Turning a book into audiobook is genius.

Download not possible. I converted the text to audio but I can't download it because the download option is not available.

Pretty decent when it actually works. I figured it would be reliable given the price, but it freezes and shuts down fairly often.

Best One I Have Found. I need to do a ton of reading for school, and this really helps me speed it up. It doesn’t do a great job with every file, but for most things it has a pretty good voice that helps you go so much faster
