Great but stopped working. Wonderful game but can’t open it on I pad anymore. Hope they get to fix it.

Fixed!:Crashing on Start up 14 Pro max 17.4.1. Edit: with the latest update, my issue was resolved, something to do with the timezone I was in. Black screen for a second then crash, loved it on PC. Hope to play via mobile!

Amazing Mobile Port. I played the original PC release to a full completion and pounced on the ability to play it again, and have been elated to find the game has been ported and made to mobile near flawlessly!

Crashed and unplayable. So I like the game. I like it a lot actually. Payed for the full version. Started grinding and building up my town but then the game crashed. After that I couldn’t get passed the boot up screen without it happening over and over. I even tried restarting my iPad and uninstalling the game several times but it still keeps doing it

Can you fix this?. After I build the building and have the encyclopedia, the game just crashed quickly. I have tried a few times but failed. Can you fix the bug? I really like this game.

One of the best, most unique, and genius-ly made games Ive ever played. Absolutely incredible game. The thought behind each and every pixel and mechanic is amazing. Third time I’ve purchased this gem 😎 buy it. Well done as always devs

I Really Love This Game. I want to give it 5 stars so badly, but as of the past day or two, the app is unresponsive, at first, it would happen mid game, so the game would keep going but I wouldn’t be able to control anything, but now I can’t get past the main screen. I’m only writing this to bring attention to this issue in case it has not yet been detected, hope I can update it and keep playing soon!! Thanks for a great game!

Fun. Even though this game released a while ago I downloaded the free trial this morning. About 10 minutes later I bought the game 😂. It’s a very fun and interesting adventure rpg rogue like dungeon master. 😀

A real game for your phone!. It’s so rare these days to get games you can just buy and not get pestered by ads or micro transactions. The free version is just a demo but you buy the full game and it’s the full game no more gotchas. The gameplay itself is solid, look it up as the game was a proper PC game before it was ported for the phone. My only gripe is placing tiles sometimes I just want to click on the card to remind myself of its full stats and end up accidentally placing it in a terrible spot but after awhile that’s a rare occurrence.

Only a trial. Can’t believe this game wants me to pay one time to unlock the full game. Why didn’t they slow your progress down and force you to buy gems to speed up building progress and play ads every time you loop around the map. I need roadblocks in my game so I lose interest in them after I am forced to drop 10 .99 every day to speed up my building progress. I don’t think the developers understand how gaming works today. You make a game then you strip out all the features and put them behind multiple paywalls and let the player spend small amounts of money until it accumulates to hundreds of dollars then you stop plaiting the game for a week and your so far behind you have to spend more money to catch back up. Instead these geniuses are asking for just one purchase at the INSANE price of $7. You saw that correctly fokes. A game with 20-40 hours of content for 10% of the price of a AAA game with 10 hours of content. Remove this from the App Store and add in the proper amount of roadblocks so we can buy our way out of it.

Interesting. Definitely a well made game, quality is there along with attention to detail. The story is intriguing, what happened? Who’s left? Idk, but we’ll find out.

The Start. I was waiting forever for this game to come out the preview just kept me hooked to the point that I immediately played it on release if you plan to install this look forward to the good graphics, story, and combat to keep you immersed. (P.S You gotta pay for the full thing but whatever I’ll buy it later.)

A Diamond in the rough. Literally stumbled on this game and have been enjoying playing through it since. Excellent mechanics, great replayability and charming graphics make this game a truly unique and enjoyable experience. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for some reason the sound doesn’t work. It’s a real bummer because I’d imagine that the soundtrack is banging but I wouldn’t know. Hopefully it’s fixed eventually.

Easily one of my favorite roguelike deck builders. The world is interesting and the gameplay is simple yet addictive. I like the excitement of rng stats but it never feels unfair or a pain to deal with. Artwork is so classic and pretty and I enjoy my little town

Game consistently crashes. I love this game on steam and was looking forward to playing a ton of it on the go. Unfortunately, the game won’t run for more than 5 minutes at a time without freezing up on my brand new M2 iPad Air Correction: The game doesn’t crash, it just stops accepting input after using the Apple Pencil hover feature prior to clicking a button/item. Hopefully this can be fix reasonably easily

One of the best. Hands down one of the best games I've ever played, owned it on steam since launch and quickly got it for mobile cause it's just that goooooood.

AVP compatible version please. Interesting game; well suited for its medium. Was disappointed to find it couldn’t be played on the AVP though controls should map. Will happily buy if made available on AVP.

Good game with unplayable issues. Great game and I happily paid for the full version only to be disappointed by some issues that sometimes makes picking up the game a frustrating waste of time. The first problem is that the games doesn't save progress accurately. After finish a level in a play session, the game doesn't save, so next time you play you have to beat same level again. The second problem is the game often lags and crashes so it's unplayable. Wish I could get a refund

Perfect for Mobile. I have been playing Loop Hero since its initial release. Super addictive game. I have played on PC and Switch. The IOS version is fantastic. It has been optimized for touch controls, and feels like it was designed specifically for the iPad. This is the perfect “Just one more round,” type of game. Well done.

My game won’t even start. I played for a bit and bought the full game and not even 10 minutes later it crashed and won’t let me open the game anymore other than that it’s a good game

Could use some fine tuning. Overall the game itself is great. If you liked it on PC then you know what to expect. I would like some more control over sizes and the overlay of the stats. While they are important on a phone they take up a lot of space and could easily be something that is able to be minimized.

Exact Port. Performs exactly as it does on my Switch, with the exception of touch controls. No bugs so far, with a few hours in. I have no complaints, and am not surprised by a playdigious game.

great for ios. wish they did a bit more in UI to make it easier on iphones but an amazing rougelite for the road. incredibly happy for the port

Excellent game!. I love this game so much. Third time I've bought it now, and I'm happy to play it some more. I wish I could transfer my save from PC over, but oh well. The only issue I have is that iCloud/Game Center save syncing doesn't work at all. I've tried so many things. Rebooting each device, making sure there isn't a conflicting save on the other device, multiple connection points, giving it several hours to ensure it syncs, copying the save to another slot and seeing if that kicks it in, deleting a fresh save on the other device in hopes of maybe "clearing" space for the save. So far, nothing at all has worked.

Perfect iPad Game. I’ve played this game on the computer and loved it, but it’s even better on a mobile device. The gameplay is simple but addictive, with a semi-random nature reminiscent of roguelikes, but with enough consistent progress that you always feel like you succeeded in something, even if you die. It also has a charming setting and story, and it’s as well suited to a 15 minute game as it is to a multi-hour binge. The only thing I wish it had was an expansion, DLC, or sequel - but there’s plenty of content and replayability here! Easy 5/5

Fantastic!. This game wasn’t made for mobile at first, but it should’ve been. It’s just as perfect as it’s console/PC predecessor, and it’s finally here on iOS! So happy to finally have this.

Best casual or non-casual. I tried it first on pc, but on mobile is even better! It smooths out some of the tedious loading and pc only stuff, 11/10, totally addicted to the mobile version

Always Should Have Been On Mobile. Played and beat this a couple of years back on PC. Defiantly recommend, works excellently for mobile and feels like it should have been here from the start!

I’d rather have a genuine premium game than FTP!. I love this game. It’s addictive and has great pixelated graphics. I have no problem forming over for a premium title with complete gameplay and an engaging story. Playdigious strikes gold again.

Please keep screen awake. Fantastic and enjoyable games with great options and customization. Very important request: Please add a setting to disable screen sleep, I want the phone to stay awake when the game is running.

Amazing game. This game can never get boring to me, so much to do, building your own little world and seeing how far as you can get, I’ve been waiting for it to come to mobile so I can play on the go

Excellent port of an excellent game. Not much else to say. If you’ve played it on console or PC, you already know how well it should work on a phone, and it does.

A wonderful game. Overall it’s an absolutely amazing game that you should definitely play. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars: the rng can sometimes really really really screw your run, which is completely understandable in these types of games. But when that happens several runs in a row I pretty much just totally lose interest. It would be AWESOME if the rng could be tweaked so that certain cards would have a higher or lower percent of showing depending on other cards. Like for instance I HATE the village and wheat fields like a passion because my hand will fill up completely full of wheat fields. But I’ll never get a single village card. So the wheat fields are totally unplayable and therefore deleting cards that I WANT to keep. Beyond frustrating. So when that just keeps happening: I’m done.

There’s nothing like it. Loop Hero is inventing a genre, the way Slay The Spire created roguelite deck builders. Perhaps not the first, but first to get it right. It doesn’t seem like much at first, but give it some time. As you build out your base and learn how to strategically place your map tiles, the game comes alive. The description says you don’t control combat—but by your gear selections and how you arrange the path, you absolutely do. 5 Stars for gameplay, 4 for graphics which I hope are better on a sequel, but turn on the pixel shader, it helps a lot. This is a unique, well designed game I will be playing for a long time.

Decent. The game is ok, basically not bad and not good, average. Art style is extremely basic but it works and I actually kind of dig it. The gameplay loop is where things get stale. There’s just not enough to keep it interesting long term. Need more mobs, more buildings, more interesting equipment. I’ll check back in a few months to see how the things went. 2.5/5 as is.

Addicting. Tried demo on my ipad and got hooked right away, perfect time killer. Wish there was a cross save option.

Great but game breaking bug ruining it. Was loving this until the latest update, now when I beat the first story boss the game force closes and I cannot progress. If I exit the battle and retreat I can keep playing but I cannot defeat the boss without the game crashing. Please fix this issue!

Great little gem of a game. This game is very addicting, invoking the ‘just one more turn’ mentality. It’s the perfect game for mobile since you can spend minutes on it, or hours if you want. There’s no mobile dark patterns design in here, just a game for the sake of having fun playing. You get a free trial which is the perfect amount of trial to get to know the game, then a small one-time fee to unlock the full game which is still cheaper than the cheapest freemium tier currency purchase on almost every other mobile game these days. The only critique I have is that some of the stats are a bit underpowered. Vampirism drops off in usefulness very fast, and some talents are giving you like +3 hp in turn 5 when enemies are starting to hit for like 20.

Absolutely Outstanding. Didn’t know what to expect going into this but the game definitely did not disappoint. The art style is perfect, very clean with a nice use of colors, the world the game takes place in is interesting and the mechanics of having to rebuild the world piece by piece and the way it was implemented was unique. I’ll probably end up buying it on steam rather than just sticking to my phone.

Misleading. Doesn’t say anything about a price until you download and open it. Then you find out it’s just a trial and they want you to pay. Edit: You can say all you want developers but it’s still extremely misleading. I was familiar with the game so I didnt bother reading the description nor did many others. You should have put (trial) in the title or something. I will be removing this game from my steam wishlist as well because of this.

Just great! Ton of content for one low price!. I just wanna say how shocked I am by how much is packed into this tiny download. You can quickly tell this title was created by people who love what they are doing. Next I want to say how thankful I am for growing up when I did.. these people posting 1 star reviews due to having to simply pay for a product should honestly be ashamed. Where does that kind of entitlement come from? Their parents? How hard is it to understand that people have worked hard to bring this game to us. Spent time away from their families and loved ones. Stayed up late into the night, giving us the fruit of their blood sweat and tears. Why wouldn’t it be fair to ask for compensation for a provided service? For those of you STILL complaining that this title costs money you should really just be ashamed it this point. It’s a great game. It deserves our praise and our money. Devs thank you all for your hard work!

Glad this game came to mobile.. I played this game a lot on my PC but now that it’s on my phone I can’t stop playing it such a fun chill game that can get interesting.

Simply The Best. I have purchased this game across all different platforms; no two runs are the same and you are rewarded by being risky and experimental in your approaches, not just one of the best games on mobile - it’s literally one of the best games period. Buy it already.

Turning up the speed makes this game awesome. A unique twist on tower defense, deck building, auto battling, and rogue likes, all in one fun and addictive package. The trial version gives you plenty of content to decide if this game is for you. The default settings might feel a bit slow at first, but you have the option to speed up the combat and walking elements, which improves the gameplay a ton and makes it a lot snappier and exciting.

Apple Pencil support?. On a newer iPad Air + Apple Pencil pro the game seems to break. Does it support this input method or do I need to play with differently? Own the game on Steam and it’s great, but I wish this was supported.

Great game!. I’ve had this on PC for a while and was hoping for a mobile port, finally my dreams come true 😭 I’m not sure why people are leaving negative feedback based on a very clear description, most PC ports cost money on mobile. This game is well worth the price, I’ve gotten a lot of hours out of it on PC. I love the QOL additions like the arrows pointing exactly where your card is under your finger so you know where it will be placed, great port!

Build your own dungeon. Unique game with a nice art style. Spent plenty of nightly hours on this game leveling up my dungeon and camp. Would like to see an expansion in the future as I’m half way done and would like to play more. Or similar games in this style :)

Awesome game, rough port for mobile. Some of the text is extremely hard to read, especially if you turn on the larger text settings. Various UI elements are in weird places and can’t be moved, cards can be accidentally dropped at the bottom of the screen if you don’t drag them all the way back to the row back in your hand (and even then it won’t work). Vague descriptions on items make for a quite confusing start, forcing you to look it up on google even after you unlock the encyclopedia (which again you’ll need to read the tiny text through. Still a very fun game and the devs did a good job getting it to mobile, there’s just some room for QoL improvements.

iPhone 15 crashes. Crashes on the loading screen. Bummer.

Great game with high replayability. I downloaded the game just to be able to talk about it here as an owner of the PC version here. Preferring the PC version over the mobile, it’s been ported over well, retaining a lot of the original elements and scenes from the original. It’s well-made, a great concept, and the gameplay is executed to a high level that you genuinely can keep playing it over and over, discovering fresh and new things, such as classes, “memory” cards, and especially enemies. If you ever leave it and come back, it’s very easy to jump back into it, with simple understandable mechanics. For fans of roguelikes and dark fantasy, otherworldly and even eldritch, this is perfect, especially if you enjoy pixel games and 32-bit SFX. Highly recommend!

Incredible game. The game is amazing a lot of replayability. I just wish that when you are in the camp menu with the buildings that you could move them freely instead of having to deconstruct them and move them but that’s just me.

Good game. I played the original on PC. I can confidently say that it ported over to mobile version very well. For me at least it was worth it to buy it again.

Great game, unfortunate end of my playing.. Fantastic game, I quickly purchased the whole thing and played for hours during a few days. I progressed a lot, learned a ton and got super into it. Unfortunately the game crashed, and crashed on start up every single time. I finally got it to launch again and to my demise, it erased all my progress.. I won’t be grinding it all again, but in the short time I had this game it gave me hope for a better universe, it will be missed and held dearly to my heart.

Nice concept, lack of diversity. Cool concept. Qol is missing. Build diversity is missing. As a free only user it was fun playing a couple of loops but got repetitive extremely quickly. What I got to play did not entice me enough to pay for the full version.

Disgusting don’t buy. Just bought this game. Brand new iOS device (2 weeks old), not that it should matter. Game just freezes and doesn’t let me click anything. Close, restart, nothing. Uninstall, reinstall, nothing. Do not buy as it is likely to be unplayable. I’ve scoured comments, forums, and google/youtube for 3 hours for a fix and nothing. Resorted to the discord to troubleshoot with peers, nothing. Do. Not. Buy.

A few question remain. The game is good, but there is a problem where save files cannot be linked from two or more iOS devices. Even with Game Center logged on. Other than that, not a problem found.

Bug review. Cool game but it bugs out every ten minutes and I can’t interact with anything, I have to refresh the app and then end up losing a few tiles of progress and card/loot drops, makes it unfun and unplayable. Please fix.

dull. What do people see in this game? It's beyond boring. Loop loop loop, non interactive fights, boring loot UI busywork, incredibly slow progression. I must be missing something. Story is kind of neat I guess, but I'll save myself some time and just go read that on the wiki.

A mobile game I respect.. For the price what you get here is worth it and not only that but this game is very well made.

The game is just a demo. Like the title says the game is only a demo, at least unlike some other games, this one warns you the moment you open it instead of after you’ve played most of it, but it still doesn’t tell you in the app store, or in the apps name

Disappointed. I have been waiting for this game to come out just to try and I have to say I’m disappointed that it’s JUST A TRIAL. So dissatisfied I deleted the game right away. It’d be different if it was clearly stated that this was a trial game which it is not.

Game Crashes. It is currently unplayable for me. It crashes on app open even after uninstalling and re-installing, I've had the game for less than 24 hours. Was fun while it lasted.
