Better Reading, Less FOMO. Leave it to Iconfactory to come up with an app that is far better for reading RSS feeds, social media, and so much more, yet help relieve the self-imposed pressure to stay on top of everything. It’s so easy to add new sources to the app and the ability to add third-party connectors opens up even more sources of information. The timeline view of everything (No algorithms. Yay!) took me a little while to get used to, but now, I love it. I just pick up reading where I left off or easily move to the latest. I’m reading far more now than when I had a traditional RSS reader.

Great App!. I’ve been using Tapestry since it was released, but I didn’t appreciate how great it was until recently. The lightbulb finally lit when I figured out that you can follow specific Mastodon and Bluesky accounts to see posts and replies. You don’t even need to have accounts on those services. I acknowledge that this steers more toward a consumer of rather than a creator to social media, but I’m ok with that. Tapestry allows me to follow what I’m interested in and presents it in a way that I can control. p.s. you can’t go wrong with an app from The Iconfactory.

Reader only?. I was looking for an app that would let me view multiple feeds from multiple sources, I was excited to find Tapestry. But it seems it limits you to viewing posts. There is an option to share but I haven’t found a way to interact with the social posts in my feed. Also, it would be very much preferred to have these feeds in separate columns. A single column leaves a lot to be missed unless I scroll, scroll, scroll backwards to find older posts.

Amazing app from the Iconfactory crew!. Fantastic app for Mastodon & Bluesky (and more). I love how you can have multiple Bluesky accounts in the same timeline with different colors. The tricky thing I’d love to see is the ability to post from Tapestry directly to Bluesky. Otherwise, perfect app for me!

Solid Start. I really like this app. It’s nice to have things in one place and have the ability to use my rules to mute/muffle or not various topics. One downside is finding out how many of the news sources that I would like don’t support the connectors that Tapestry supports, but sadly walled gardens are walled gardens. I would LOVE for rules to be a bit more useful for my use cases (such as muffling or muting during set periods and becoming inactive outside of that, but turning on/off a rule is relatively painless). Or a feed or feeds could ONLY show items that met their particular rule, as so many feeds give you a firehose of topics. I’d also love to see a place where users could share their feeds to find some feeds that others have already found. Either way, an awesome start and I can’t wait to see how it evolves.

Oof. IOS26 and Liquid Glass has really made great developers look like design school dropouts outs. This new UX is horrid. Buttons are barely visible without a visual anchor. Buttons are all over the screen requiring finger gymnastics and hand switching to do basic tasks. Interfaces like this make it feel unsafe using a thousand dollar device.

Muffles cross posts!. The feature that muffles cross posting alone makes tapestry worth it, but it’s a well designed app anyway. It provides an easy way to get back to the native apps/web versions if you need it, but I rarely do.

A Pretty RSS Reader. Tapestry by Iconfactory is a beautifully designed app. The problem is that it’s of little use if you have no need for an RSS reader. Although you can include Mastodon and Bluesky accounts in your feed, you can’t do anything with them. Want to participate in a thread? Sorry, you can’t do that. So, at the end of the day, Tapestry is a beautiful RSS reader. Which then begs the question: Is it worth the subscription? No, it isn’t.

Don’t know why I waited so long to download this…. Was tired of jumping back and forth between Mastodon and Bluesky. Gave this a try and ended up subscribing after less than 5 minutes. Love it and can’t wait to see how it evolves over the next few months. I just wish the app displayed threads or even gave indication that a post is part of a longer thread. If a post author on Mastodon / Bluesky attaches more posts beneath their initial post, there is no way of seeing that in the feed.

Such a clever idea!. Integrating multiple different social networks is an obvious and good idea, but providing a way for users to supply their own connectors is brilliant. Be sure to check out Tapestry Loom on Mac! Everything from the Iconfactory is an insta-buy and this is no exception.

They Did it Again. From the creators of one of the best Twitter apps ever, (RIP Twitterific) the Iconfactory have outdone themselves by making the best feed reader/social networking client currently available. The fact that it’s the only currently available BlueSky client that doesn’t require a subscription to save your place on the timeline already makes it better than 90% of the clients out there. A great looking 1.0 app that has plenty of potential to grow into a replacement for all your social media and RSS reader apps in the future. Fully featured for free with some great enhancements for a small monthly subscription or you can make a lifetime purchase make this a no brainer. Try it, I bet you’ll like it.

Seems like it could be awesome!. I just installed the app so I still need to spend some time getting up to speed, but if it can effectively combine socials and the notifications work then it would be great to be able to offload a couple other apps.

Wonderful idea with better execution. We need more decentralized feed reading apps which bring us closer to the open web. Iconfactory has more than succeeded with Tapestry and I look forward to future updates!

Liquid Glass. Honestly, I know Liquid Glass is controversial in its own right but I’m confused why it’s not even implemented properly? Instead of the tab bar on the bottom, there’s these tiny even MORE difficult to see individual buttons. Just kinda ruins the experience from pre-liquid glass update for me.

Why require a lifetime subscription just for one custom timeline?. I love this app and everything it does. The main reason I use it is in order to maintain a single custom timeline. Just one. However, I’m not able to edit or reconfigure this timeline unless my subscription to Tapestry Pro is still active. Why should I have to pay $1.99 every time I want to change this one timeline? I would rather just pay a single fee and be done with it. The fact that using a single custom timeline requires a permanent subscription is a huge black stain on an otherwise perfect app. If Tapestry ever offers the option to pay once and get one or two custom timelines for life, then I’ll pay for that upfront and continue using Tapestry. Until then, however, I’ll continue looking for alternatives.

Replaces all other social media apps. I cannot state just how much I LOVE this app. It has become the only app I use for “news”. I’m able to subscribe to my RSS feeds, follow users on bluesky and follow individual websites. Everything is in chronological order and ZERO algorithms. The best part for me though is the fact that I can filter and mute anything that is either uninteresting or stress inducing. For example, I’m subscribed to my local news website and I can mute anything and everything related to politics and still be informed of things going on that are still important. I get to choose what I read with Tapestry and that is huge for me. I did the paid version on day one and it has been worth every cent! No joke, when I see that there is an update to the app, I legit get excited because this app is SO awesome!

Promising app hobbled by tough reading experience. I love the idea of Tapestry, and its potential to consolidate three of my most-used apps. However, the reading experience is hard to get past. Every post lives in its own card and has a colored background. This is an app dedicated to presenting things to read, but it won’t let us see black text on a white background or vice-versa while. At the same time, it wastes a lot of screen real estate on margins around each of these cards. Making things worse is that there’s no control over font size. Finally, there needs to be a connection type for RSS services like Feedbin, rather than only allowing an OPML file import that turns each subscription into its own feed. For Tapestry’s ambition however, the price is quite low. I’d be happy paying twice as much to ensure timely updates.

Already great and continually improved. The free version has more features than most apps have in their paid version. It’s visually clean and beautiful. I have four feeds and Tapestry clearly delineates them so I never wonder what’s what. The refinements and options keep pouring in with frequent updates. So much good stuff!

Another wonderful app by Iconfactory. If you want to create your own timelines drawn from a wide variety of social media and other online sources, Iconfactory has created a beautifully crafted app in which to do so. Their attention to detail is second to none. I love the ability to create universal filters to muffle things like spoilers for shows or politics when you want to focus on football. Happily subscribed to support further development on an excellent launch version.

Potential. It’s a nice start, but it’s nowhere near finished. Apparently we can import custom “connectors” but there’s nothing documented anywhere about where they come from or when more might be added. Certainly no word on how to create your own. But the ability to import disparate feeds? That’s pretty cool.

Flexible timeline app. I’m loving Tapestry so far. I understand why content creators aren’t sold on it because they have to engage with their audiences (and this is read-only for now), but many folks just consume social media, and it makes a lot of sense to read posts alongside RSS. It’s useful for me to see what people are saying about the news alongside it. I’m still using Mastodon in Ivory because I engage there, but that’s the beauty of Tapestry — you can build it into what works for you. Great work!

You need to update screenshots. This is just more of the same iPad apps with wasted UI. The app is Ok, but the settings are buried and not intuitive. I tried the monthly subscription because I thought I was getting the app in the screenshots - cancelled because it is not. Just one infinite scroll that just uses the left side of the screen. Also the one time price apparently seems to be exactly that - a ONE time offer. Don’t try to subscribe and then think you can reconsider.

Instantly bumped to Home Screen page 1!. This app is so unique and wonderful! I no longer have to check multiple social media apps and all my feeds can be seamlessly combined. Love that it has a global mute feature so you can filter out certain keywords across all feeds.

Chronological Timeline Across Multiple Feeds - What I’ve been begging for. I have accounts on most of major social media sites plus I still read several blogs. However I despise the algorithmic feeds of all of them. Tapestry lets me check in on all of them and see the posts in a timeline that makes sense.

Best of the web. Tapestry allows you to weave together a curated list of your favorite places on the internet!! You can even muffle phrases, add custom lists - it's a fantastic place to gather RSS, podcasts, you name it. Iconfactory cares about a good user experience and this app no different.

Everything you could want. I’ve had to for over a yr now and it’s completely changed how I use my phone I didn’t have any social media to begin with but now I get everything I want to see on the internet in one timeline.

Spiffy timeline app. Tapestry is newcomer joining the timeline app category, such as Reeder. As one of the leaders of pre-Elon Twitter client, Twitterific, Tapestry boosts a strong paradigm for reading multiple timeline sources in a single timeline. I created multiple timelines based on a category. For instance, a Comics timeline has a collection of my favorite comics. Another for Tech, News, and Entertainment. In this early days, you need to tinker a bit to get a great collection of open standard based contents, but the end result is ad-free, stress-free experience.

Colorful, clean, and buttery smooth. I saw the app on kickstarter and almost backed it. I wish I would have. The finished app is very elegant. The colors are bright and actually add a lot to the UX. It breaks up the feed. Idk why but that alone actually makes a big difference when I’m going through feeds. So clean and smooth. I really enjoy it.

Amazingly versatile. I have timelines with single user accounts, one with my mastodon + Bluesky feed, a whole cohort of different news sources in another, and so many more. So fun to limit and expand what I want to see when I want to see it. While I wait for a complete Bluesky client I enjoy - I dig this heavy and it was an immediate download / subscribe. Amazing work, amazing team, amazing design and fun! If more apps were this fun - the world would be a lot more bearable.

Love this app. I love this way to consume my RSS and social media feeds. I can categorize them if I want, and if I miss something, I can either dive into the individual feed or just let it go. I’ll never get around to reading everything. All tied up with The Iconfactory’s beautiful, whimsical finish. This app is a joy to use.

Feeds on feeds on feeds on feeds on feeds on…. What an incredible app. Part feed reader, part decentralized social media. Very extensible, so I’m excited to see what sort of community support comes up around it. Would love to see posting or interactions in the future, but for now I’m very happy with what it is. Excellent job.

This feels like home. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. A place where everything is collected & shown from all the sources I know & trust. These devs have always brought me joy & amazing apps to make my experience on iPhone & iPad amazing. It’s not too often you come across a dev team that truly cares about the experience their apps provide. This app is no different than the quality of all their apps in their library. The app melts everything into a visually lovely layout & makes catching up to things outside my bubble a breeze. It is so well put together & if this is ground zero today, I can’t wait to see what this app will bring to us in the future. BRAVO!!

Makes lots of feeds manageable. I already have an RSS reader, sure, but this does so much more. It’s a beautiful, easy-to-use way to keep a handle on a whole bunch of different feeds. I use if for a handful of things which don’t provide rss, *in addition to* the ~2 “normal” RSS feeds I want to make sure to keep up on. Everything goes in the “normal” RSS reader… where I’ll check it once a week, maybe. :-/ Yes, it’s read-only, but it does a nice job of linking you into the source to interact when you care to. I’m very excited about custom feeds, which Imm only getting started with.

Subscription for features offered free elsewhere. I enjoy the app and it's my favorite way to ingest news and updates. However, it's subscription model is a bit arbitrary, especially for something that's ultimately straightforward. Flipboard's Surf app is essentially the same but allows users to customize exclusions and multiple feeds for free, rather than hitting a recurring paywall for them

Replace all of your scrolling apps with one. Great app, great UI, has never failed me and has a feature to remove “cross talk” when you might get multiple sources with the same information. The developer is amazing and not a giant, nameless corporation.

One bothersome flaw. In general, I’m really enjoying Tapestry. As I transition to it from Reeder (the newer version), though, I’m noticing a bothersome flaw. While Reeder drops things into my feed as they come in, even if the actual post date was prior to the last load, Tapestry seems to sort them by post date no matter when they load into my feed - which means that if Tapestry loads something just now that came in an hour ago, and I’m already past that point in the feed, that older post is buried in the past and I never see it. It doesn’t show up as new for me, even though it is. If there is one thing I need in an app like this, it is to be able to trust that I will not miss a post.

Feeds Wrangled. Tapestry is a rare app that understands the modern digital mess and dares to tame it. My favorite feature? Its ability to consolidate multiple social and news feeds into one clean, unified timeline. Instead of bouncing between four or five apps, I now get everything I care about in one elegantly designed space. It’s smart, efficient, and beautifully executed. I can’t wait to see how it evolves—this is the kind of thoughtful development the Iconfactory is known for. Thanks!!

The Open Web. This is a great start to letting users re-embrace the open-web. Being able to build your own connectors for any source of information and have it in your own personal unified timeline is amazing. In a time of engage baiting, outrage inducing, algorithm driven timelines, this is the tonic we need.

Great Start. This app has become my go-to daily news reader. It may take some time and effort to find all the sources, but once you do, it’s an incredible experience. The connections to Bluesky and Reddit are also fantastic. It’s one of the few apps I’ve actually bought a subscription to.

The good old days of social media. This is a near perfect app for someone who used to use Twitter back when you could keep everything in sequential order and the only feeds on your timeline were the ones that you specifically followed- now you can load blog RSS’s, blue sky, mastodon feeds, substack links, etc; and get to see them all in order right where you left off browsing only when the people you care about post. It’s wonderful.

Great start!. As a backer I’m already enjoying my first day with this app. A ton of potential and already looking to take over glee I approach feeds. Updating the review at 1.1. We’re only getting better!

Crosstalk is a game changer. The continued pace of updates by IconFactory is unmatched! With so many other feed readers, duplication of content is a problem across feeds. Crosstalk on Tapestry is a total game changer, helping to reduce multiple copies of the same content. Thanks for the new feature!

I wish I could have Muffles for the entire internet. I’m a huge fan of the universal timeline. It’s a wonderful evolution on media consumption. The absolute best feature of it though is its Muffle/Mutes feature and that they’re global across RSS feeds and social media posts is amazing.

Solid Foundations. The timeline position is rock solid. Even if I prefer certain design decisions in Reeder better, Tapestry is so much more of a joy to use. The mutes and muffles are super useful (wish there were faster ways to mute an account directly from the timeline) Can’t wait for the ability to like and reply to social posts!

Social Reader. Honestly, Tapestry took me a bit to figure out my personal use case. I was in the beta and it was a few weeks (months?) but realizing I could read Mastodon and Bluesky feeds together was game changer for me. I only have cursory interest in Bluesky and but wanted to keep up with what some folks were posting without ever needing to really react (though could by be taken to the original post from Tapestry). Don’t go in thinking it’s just RSS. Explore it and take time with it.

Another Iconfactory Icon. I first learned about Twitter from being a fan of Iconfactory. An amazing, opinionated app, Twitteriffic was reason enough to try the new microblogging platform that nobody I knew was using. That was 15 years ago. Today, Iconfactory is showing the way again. The future is federated, free, and personal. Tapestry is a lovely and — again — opinionated app, that shapes as much as predicts the future. I’m all in.

Best feed reader+ out there. This app is incredible, and the team that make it are fantastic as well. I am not a power user of this product, so I know I am only scratching the surface of what it can do, but this has filled the gaping hole that Google’s feed reader left when those schmucks canned it.

Expertly weaves together all my content sources. Tapestry is one of those apps that make one wonder why one waited so long to use them. It might be a little intimidating, setting it up and moving everything over, but stick with it. It’s so flexible, and so much attention has been paid to every detail; in very little time, you’ll make it yours and wonder how you got on without it. It’s also kind of amazing to start using an app when it’s still pretty new: every update delivers the delight of unwrapping a lovely gift. The team developing Tapestry welcome feedback and are wonderfully responsive across avenues of communication. I find Tapestry a real joy; I look forward to using it every day, and contributing to its evolution.

Welcome Back To Chronological Timelines, How I’ve Missed You. I’ve been using Tapestry for just about a month, and I honestly love how easy it is to combine Reddit, Bluesky, and other web sources into a chronological timeline that I HAVE CONTROL OF. I can’t stress this enough; being able to see things as they happen in chronological order is a game changer and brings back one of the things I’ve missed about the web. I did try to incorporate the app but I believe there is too much of UI. I have been a long time Reeder app user. I tried to incorporate this app. However, when it comes to reading, less UI the better that’s what my opinion is. Sometimes, I find Tapestry has too much UI. Other times, I feel it’s good to have that respective blog’s personality for identification. But, I keep going back to Reeder due to the minimal interface.

Amazing if you want one app for multiple types of feeds. Love the ability to make lists that merge bluesky, mastodon, and rss feeds. Easy to open a post in a bluesky or mastodon app.

The best way to consume news. The Iconfactory have not only weaved an incredible RSS reader from the ashes of Twitterrific, but streamlined how I consume my open web social media and favourite blogs. I can’t commend them enough for the work they have done on this well polished app and highly recommend everyone try it out.

Timeline perfection. Everything that Iconfactory touches is amazing but Tapestry especially so. A beautiful, smooth, and lightweight app that compiles my Bluesky, Mastodon, and RSS feeds into an aggregated timeline and all in a secure and privacy-oriented manner? Absolutely yes please.

I knew this would be good. Turns out it’s… GREAT!!!!. It's The IconFactory. I had to be!. Using a RSS reader is one thing, but having a piece of lovingly-crafted software that elegantly bundles together your RSS feeds, Youtube subscriptions, social media timelines and more is just a godsent. I must admit that I had total faith that I would love Tapestry so I went directly to purchasing a yearly subscription before even trying out the app. Developers who produce this kind of quality need do be told "Hey! We believe in YOU and we want you to keep on doing what you do best!". There is no best way to do this than sending a few bucks their way. This app has instantly become a daily driver for me and it lives on all of my devices' home screens, along with all the other essential apps I use every day. Thank you so much helping me making sense of the clutter of the internet with yet another super product!

So good it’s weird!. Tapestry is an amazing way of staying up to date with various sources of all kinds. Think “RSS Reader + Social Media Client + Podcast Client BUT MODERN”. My usage is essentially that I follow MORE than I can keep up with in Tapestry, split in different timelines, and I keep the few RSS feeds I absolutely HAVE to read in a dedicated reader, and it is amazing.

Can’t log into Bluesky via Tapestry. No available help.. Update December 19, 2025: For unknown reason I was logged out of Bluesky. I received a problem that the authorization is missing. I tried to log in using my password but failed. I got an email from Bluesky giving me a code. I tried using this code with my email address but it didn’t accept it and the reauthorization failed. Server: invalid acct info (JWTcode 401) I checked the FAQ pages but don’t see any help there. I have no idea where to enter the code that Bluesky provided. My Bluesky account is active because I use it all the time but now not able to using the Tapestry app. Once I got Tapestry setup it is an amazing way to put all your social feeds in one place. (I don’t know about X but I wouldn’t select it anyway). I only have one minor issue and that is regarding notifications. I like notification badges so I can see at a glance how many are unread. There doesn’t appear to be a way to make this happen. I don’t see it in the app settings so I went to the knowledge base and searched “notifications” but nothing was found and there doesn’t appear to be a way to ask a question. Still an excellent program that I use daily. Highly recommended.

Crosstalk is amazing. The app’s crosstalk feature might be my favourite individual app feature ever. It’s completely changed how I interact with social media.

One timeline, all the feeds. I’ve successfully moved consolidated my RSS feeds, my Mastodon timeline, my Youtube subscriptions and even a couple of comics. This has been my most used app for the past couple of weeks and I can already tell it’ll only get better over time. Paid for the yearly subscription, it’s reasonably priced, specially if you plan on checking the app a few times a day. Lovely work by the Iconfactory as usual!!

The true successor to plain RSS readers. I’ve been waiting for this since the kickstarter, and it’s delivered on its promise on day one. Cannot wait for a library of connectors to be shared, and for new features to be added to the app over time. Thanks Iconfactory!

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

The one to beat. Delightful animation - check. Quirky UX - check. Cute icons and thoughtful little details - check No replies or reposts - didn’t ask for it because I didn’t know I wanted it. I wish things were easier to add and I suspect connections will be less taps away in the future. Fantastic v1 folks!!

Best Combined Feed App Available!. Like I said in the title, this is THE best combined feed app on the App Store. You get everything from RSS, Mastodon, and Bluesky to Reddit, YouTube, and more! The premium features don’t cost too much either so if you want some more customization, it’s not gonna break the bank. Even without the premium features, you get access to every feature you need to have a good time using the app. Also, if you have a feature request or notice any bugs, contacting them is really easy and they get back to you very quickly! I have nothing bad to say about this app. Download it already!

A good start. I could see this becoming a daily app for me. I really like how it strips out a lot of the annoyances you see on most services. The colors, fonts and proportions need a bit of work. I would also like to see a view somewhere in between collapsed and expanded. Maybe something like compact? I’d also like the option to select how different connections appear? (E.g. I want “collapsed” posts from slickdeals and expanded posts for everything else.) Bulk entry of accounts for popular services (YouTube, Bluesky) would be cool too.

Awesome timeline reader. Tapestry makes catching up on the feeds you watch a one stop shop. If you use Bluesky or mastodon it is easily the best reading experience for those. In addition you can watch RSS feeds of newsgroups and see when your fave YouTube channels post. The team is really responsive too. A bug was fixed within an hour when I sent in a ticket.

Amazing!. This has become my favorite app. It sits dead center on every dock on every device I have. I recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their social media browsing. I really love how it lets me see new YouTube videos from creators I follow, because lord knows YT is terrible at doing that. The ability to see new Reddit, Bluesky, and Blog posts all in one timeline view is amazing. Highly recommend!

Nope.. Nothing works. I guess if you want to read whatever they push to you…If you want to add your Bluesky feed you have to, somehow, disable 2FA? And how do I add my Feedly feed? Who knows?

Good at what it does.. I use Tapestry to keep an eye on low volume, but important to me blogs, YouTube channels, and posters on various sites. It did take a little bit of getting used to, but that’s because it was brand new to my workflow. Now that I use it daily, I almost wish that I had more content to put into it.

Useless Forever. Without a way to mark things as read, no point in putting them in a timeline. It seems this is Tapestry’s “philosophy,” but it’s a bad one. The app will always be useless to me if they have chosen not to implement the basic features expected in every other RSS reader.

Great App. As an early supporter who has been using this app since its beginnings, I enjoy it more and more every update. It is built well. It’s a beautiful app that works like you would expect an Iconfactory app to work. I am subscribed to my RSS feed, YouTube feed, Mastodon, and Bluesky accounts. It works perfect for all of them. Definitely check it out.

Love it so far. Love the combined timelines and the user interface in general. The only thing I wished was more themes (OLED mode)

Beautifully Designed and Incredibly Useful. Tapestry lets you consume all of your content in one place. In a single feed, you can view your RSS subscriptions (news/blogs), new content from your favorite YouTube channels, your Bluesky and/or Mastodon timeline, Reddit posts, Tumblr, and more. Basically, instead of checking a bunch of websites and apps for new content, you can view it all in one spot. Then, if you want to respond to something, you can click the content in Tapestry, and it will open in your app of choice, like Bluesky. I love my RSS reader, but I replaced it with Tapestry, because it does so much more.

A Promising Feed Reader That’s Almost There. I’ve been really enjoying Tapestry’s vibrant, unified timeline that brings together Mastodon, BlueSky, YouTube, podcasts, and more in a beautifully organized, chronological feed. The colorful interface and powerful filtering options (like keyword muting) have made my content consumption so much more enjoyable. It’s a refreshing departure from algorithm-driven feeds and a true nod to the classic RSS experience. It is the first one of these new “reeder” apps that has clicked form me—I’ve tried Surf by Flipboard, Reeder, and Feeed. That said, there are a few feature ideas I’d love to see in future updates: • Unique Newsletter Connector: A dedicated email address (a la FeedBin) for subscribing to newsletters would be fantastic. I don’t want clutter in my regular inbox, but having these newsletters flow directly into Tapestry would be a game changer. • Enhanced Reply View: It would be amazing to swipe into a detailed view where I can see not only the main post but also its replies—including any quoted content—to get better context. • Custom Timeline Profiles: The ability to add individual profiles from Mastodon and BlueSky into dedicated timelines would let me curate my feed even more precisely. • In-App Engagement: I’d love to be able to like posts on Mastodon and BlueSky directly within Tapestry, so I can support my favorite authors without needing to jump between apps. • Post Consolidation: Consolidating similar posts across different connectors would help reduce redundancy and make the timeline even cleaner. • Improved Mute Functionality: Finally, it would be great if the mute feature applied to quoted content as well as the main post, ensuring a more consistent filtering experience. • The placement of the settings icon feels a bit awkward, and I’m not a fan of the default font—especially in the header, which can’t be changed even as a subscriber. I also love how Tapestry reliably keeps my place in the timeline, complete with an indicator showing how many posts away from the “top” I am. This, along with its excellent formatting of the content it pulls in, makes it my favorite way to read outlets like The Verge (aside from visiting their website directly). Overall, Tapestry is an innovative and beautifully designed app that redefines how we read our feeds. With these tweaks, it could become even more indispensable. I’m excited to see how the development team builds on this solid foundation!

Great RSS reader. This is a beautiful and very well designed RSS reader, but also so much more! As a bonus you can also hook it up to Mastodon, Bluesky, Youtube, etc. Almost anything on the web can be connected to provide for a nice untied feed of all the stuff you’re interested in without all the unnecessary fluff!

Missing features. I wanted to like this app. But: ditch the colors (or provide option for white on black mode), needs full text, and a Mac App. These 3 are deal breakers for me for a paid app.

An Indispensable App. Tapestry has quickly risen to become one of my most used. It replaced three of my most frequently used apps. I have created three custom feeds, one for Mastodon and Bluesky, one for RSS feeds and one for Youtube feeds. I look forward to seeing where it goes from here. It is the perfect app for the web as it is in 2025.

Can't change font size without paying?. I can't read the tiny default font/size. Normal OS sizing (cmd plus/minus) doesn't work. A free tip: make users want to upgrade out of joy, not out of annoyance.

Not there yet.. It’s pretty, but it suffers from the absence of utility.

NO OPML EXPORT. Love the app, but won't spend my $ until there is an export OPML function to compliment the import OPML function. I'm fine if this feature is behind the paywall.

Buggy. Nice app but it’s very very buggy. Very. Needs the ability to control feed update frequency because the app beats rss feeds to death with overly frequent feed requests.

Tapestry review. Thanks for the jump to the top feature, and I hope you guys jump to the top of AppStore too!

Almost 5 stars. Such a great app, but it needs a large widget for feeds to display.

Not a great start. First integration connector I chose was Bluesky. Immediately failed. Checked the help section. -Confirmed email -Confirmed password -No 2FA enabled App deleted. I’ll try again when it’s more polished

Fun. Fast. Provocative.. So good. An app with attitude, as we’ve come to expect from The Iconfactory. We need more good apps we don’t fully agree with.

The One Feed to Rule Them All. The last few updates to this app have made it my daily driver for Bluesky, Mastodon, and RSS. LOVE IT!

Very disappointing. With as many years of excellence Iconfactory has behind them, this “app” is a disappointment. The authorization process for Micro.blog doesn’t work correctly. Mastodon errors out. Bluesky works, but I had to restart the app to get it to load the feed. And the app for macOS isn’t even native and looks more like a Catalyst or Electron. I expect more from a legendary Mac developer.

This app is everything. I normally spend my day bouncing from one app to another refreshing the feed to see if I can find another little dopamine hit for my monkey brain. Since starting to use Tapestry and loading it up with all the feeds I care about, I have one place that I check, then my phone goes away. I feel like I've reclaimed time every day, which makes this app invaluable and deserves 5 stars. That's not to say it's perfect. I actually really like the aesthetic unlike some other folks I see out there, but here are some bits of functionality I would like to see: - A global option to choose where to open certain types of links. For example, in a YouTube feed I can tell it to open in YouTube, but if someone posts a link on Mastodon to a YouTube video, it opens in the app browser. - Settings that are semi-global, only applying to a particular feed type/connector. For example, I never want descriptions for my YouTube videos, and I always want them to open in the YouTube app. Currently I have to make sure I set those correctly when I add the feed, and if I ever change my mind I have to go change the setting on each individual feed. I'm sure I could think of others but these are the two I've noticed the most. Great job with the app folks, what an exciting v1.

Fun way to browse diverse sources. RSS readers aren’t new. But this is a fun take on the read-only mixed source timeline. It can be social media sources, YouTube, blogs, whatever. It’s like a timeline in that it’s not intended to track progress. Just read some and put away.

Failed at the first hurdle. I wanted to love this app to streamline my morning read. However, failed to load YouTube consistently and couldn’t get the Gaurdian feed either.
