Wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is the best adventure game on the market and I can’t believe it was done by an independent developer. The story is good, graphics are great, puzzles are hard but not too hard, robust hint system. All around an excellent game. I’ve played the other Legacy games as well (recommend start with those) and this is a quality addition. Game play was about 6 hours total, using a decent number of hints because I’m impatient. Bravo! Well done!

Would give it 10 stars if I could. I’ve played all the Legacy games and have loved them from the beginning. They’re all good in their own ways and they keep getting better and more substantial with each new release. We’ve waited a long time for this one and it does not disappoint! It’s an amazing game… so rich and satisfying, and you really have to think and work things out. It’s challenging in the best way. It also happens to have probably the best and most functional map in any game I’ve played (and I’ve played a lot), and a great hint system along with links to walkthroughs…. all things that really help the player to have the best possible experience. Navigation is great, 3D effect is great, puzzles, story, visuals all great. Thank you David Adrian! You’re the bomb and your games are pure joy to play.

A Excellent Puzzle Adventure. Once in a great while an adventure/puzzle series comes along that actually separates itself from the vast majority of offerings on the App Store. The Room and House of DaVinci series are two that come immediately to mind. Both of those series are created by a teams of people working in a development studios. Then along comes a fellow named David, who appears to be a solo developer, and he has created The Legacy series. His latest offering, “Tomb of Secrets” is his best effort yet. Full of terrific puzzles, interesting visuals and very smooth gameplay, this game provides all of the fun and “aahaa” moments that fans of puzzle/adventure games look for, but rarely find. I’ve only finished the first chapter, but wanted to stop and write a review to encourage David to continue developing games of style, wit and intelligence. Keep up the great work. Consistently Impressed. For those of us that use these games to wake up our minds from the languid patterns of life, the more unique the challenges, the more unique the solutions, the more satisfying the reward. As with his other efforts, David does not settle for the expected or the simple. Great work!

Excellent. This is by far, the best adventure game I’ve played since Myst, Riven & Exile years ago. I was able to follow the puzzles but definitely had to lean frequently on the generous hints given for the game when I needed some clues. Looking forward to the next one!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!. I was SO excited to see that another addition has come out of this very amazingly complex game! I have played a lot of similar games that I love but they STOP and then I’m left hanging…. Plus, this series is brilliant! The entire thing is amazing. The puzzles are so complex and I just LOVE IT!! Fantastic game. Definitely worth your time. So glad I stuck it out without hints and walkthroughs. Puzzles are extremely good, and have a very good flow to them. Can be pretty hard at some points, but a little time away, come back and re think things allows a new way forward. Just a fantastic series. Way to go.

What a cool game!. Really enjoyed playing! Thank you, David! The control is good, and the puzzles vary in difficulty. The scenery is beautifully rendered, and the mechanics of each room are really well done. The clues are subtle, but not impossible if a player doesn’t want to use hints. I thought I had gotten stuck in a room, at one point, and the character thought to “teleport”. I didn’t recall that, but finally figured out it means you can use the map in the upper right corner. Well thought out and fun!

Worth the wait!. I’ve checked for ages to see if another Legacy game was forthcoming. I was so excited to see this finally show up in the App Store. And I can say that it more than lived up to what I hoped for. The Legacy games have gotten progressively better. The environments are fantastic. The puzzles are all challenging, but they are also all solvable with patience and investigation. That’s really not an easy thing to manage in these types of games in my experience. Too often the puzzles are ridiculously obvious… or the solution ends up being so obscure that it borders on senseless. Not here. The balance here is perfect. This game continues the excellence I have seen in this series so far. I really appreciate the game you have provided, and I intend to play it again multiple times (after a short break so that amnesia kicks in and I have to figure it out all over again, hehe.). Thanks again! I hope to see a continuation of the story down the road. I can guarantee I’ll be purchasing any future sequels the day they are released.

Set the bar!. This game is one of the best puzzle games I’ve played yet! I enjoyed the puzzles were very thought provoking and fun. This is the first game I played in the series and now I’m going to play the rest! Thank you developer(s), keep it up!!

Awesome. I really liked the earlier games in this series, with 3 being my favorite. On this one, the ladder in room 6 never came down although the lever worked and the room got a checkmark. In room 5, I could never get the bridge to level, although that room got a checkmark too. In 5 for the bridge I couldn’t get water in the first container because I’d get a message saying it wouldn’t fill because I had moved the pipe. I wonder if I went through the rooms in the wrong order or something. Despite these problems, I just continued the game and finished with all rooms, including those two rooms, checkmarked. So then I deleted the game, reinstalled it and played through it again. This time there were no problems. Great game and intend to play through the earlier games, then do this one again. Great game! Highly recommended

Good graphics, ok gameplay. It’s obvious that a lot of effort went into the game design and graphics. Very smooth and engaging. I found that some of the puzzles were not logical and was disappointed with the solution found in the videos. But still it was enjoyable to play.

Worth it. I continue to play these games as the puzzles and the structure grows with brain benders. It’s not easy but hints are available for those that get stuck. I definitely recommend playing all 4!

Complex but possible. I think this might be my favorite of the Legacy series, in part because the hints keep it from being so difficult I want to quit. My only change would be to notate on the map which room the player is currently in for those of us who have a poor sense of direction. I love finding a new game with terrific graphics and great puzzles that I know I will be playing for some time. Thanks and keep them coming. One of the best iPad game series available!

Awesome so far but possible glitch. Update: I reloaded the game and the issue was solved. David, the developer, did email me a couple of times, in an effort to assist me working out the problem I was having. Five star service for a five star game. I have just completed chapter 2 and am thoroughly enjoying this game. Fantastic. Worth every penny plus more. I am stuck on screen 10. Playing on iPad 9th gen. The laser type device will not allow me to pour the crystal juice into it. I broke down and watched a walkthrough when I was unable to advance.. discovered that I needed this step. I have tried everything but no avail. The laser device moves instead. Sorry about the average rating.. just hoping to get the developers attention so it can get updated. Awesome so far tho.

A Masterpiece. I’ve been playing adventure games since the days of Infocom and I’ve played them all: all the Sierra games, 7th Guest, Myst, The Room series. David’s games are the best. They are visually beautiful with great music and fun, hard, but logical puzzles. Even getting a handful of hints I have close to 15 hours of game time. As a former CTO of a gaming company it’s unfathomable to me that he has been able to develop this himself. David you are a genius and please keep going. I’m sure it’s an insane amount of work but I can’t wait for your next game.

Cool enviroments. Very clever puzzler. I enjoy going through the different “rooms” finding objects and switches and figuring things out. I like the hints, designed to give you a little at a time, as you need them for each predicament. They don’t reveal it all at once and spoil the fun. Beautiful, surreal, environments and music.

So good! Want more!!. This was hours of fun, intrigue and challenges. Easy to follow yet had to be very observant of details. I can't say enough good things about this game! It is obvious that the time, effort and creativity put into this was exponential!! Thank you and I can't wait to play the next one!

Fantastic!. I don’t usually write reviews but I just wanted to say that this game is amazing! If you like point and click puzzle games, the entire Legacy series is a must. Hours of entertainment and well worth the money! I also love the fact that you aren’t stuck having to go through some ridiculous story and you can just concentrate on solving the puzzles. Great puzzles, interesting story. It’s rare to find a quality game that doesn’t bombard you with ads or sell your data. This is a great developer to follow. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

Worth every penny!. I loved every hour of this game. It ranks right up there with Machinarium, only some of the steps in Legacy 4 are more difficult to intuit. Each time I was sure I had entered the last room, another door would open. Loads of fun with challenges galore.

Great Game!. I almost never write game or app reviews. But this game was so good I had to do so this time. It took me a little while to get into the story, and to understand what some of the clues were along the way, and, looking back, I had to use too many hints on puzzles that were obvious in retrospect. (isn’t that always the way?). But the puzzles were interesting and challenging, and required thinking not just in the moment, but also putting pieces together over the course of the entire game. I was sorry this one had to end. Hoping David creates more just like this. Thank you.

I never thought you would make another... These have been my favorite mobile games I’ve ever found. I have replayed all of them multiple times. They have the best puzzles, logic, and theming I have seen out of any puzzle games, even over Rusty Lake or The Room games.

Challenging, Fun & Wonderful!. David continues to impress. This game has such attention to detail - right down to the splashes caused from overhead drips. Definitely makes you feel as if you are going for a ride. Love the challenges - really makes you think outside the box!

Another Great Installment!. These games are very well done and just the kind of games I crave. Not as visually robust as games like The Room and House of Divinci, but the puzzles are on par and they’re really well done. You won’t be disappointed. Unless you’re just STELLAR at puzzles, you’ll need the hint feature. Next steps are often very difficult to figure out, and some solutions to problems, while very unique, are sometimes unlikely to guess on your own. Enjoy! I will play this over and over, as I have done with the previous installments. (Giving myself about a year to forget the puzzles.)

Great Game. I’m not sure what I could state in my review that would be different than all the other glowing reviews that have been left. All I can say is I’ve enjoyed all the Legacy games and look forward to the next one!

Super happy there’s another Legacy game!!!. I’m only partway through the game so far, but I’m loving it. The puzzles are creative and often different from those in a lot of games that are superficially similar to this. I hope the developer keeps making more games.

Overall a great game. Some of the puzzles are super hard to piece together for example interacting with one thing that is really moving something else in another room. I wouldn’t have been able to figure them out without hints or a walkthrough. Some of pans/zooms are clunky. I would be on 1 side of the room and couldn’t tap to get to a 2nd part of the room. I would have to move back or go to a 3rd part to be able to get to the 2nd part that I wanted.

Soooo good!. Thanks for another great game! I’m about half way through I think. I had to use a few hints but I like that they are actual hints and don’t just give you the answer. I probably have about 4-5 hours into the game so far. Well worth the price for just a few bucks! Highly recommend.

Very cool game!. I’ve loved the first 3, played them many times over so naturally was thrilled that there is a 4th! Awesome graphics and game play! Great map and hints if you need them. I highly recommend all of the Legacy games if you like games like The Room and House of Da Vinci!

This game series is amazing!. Currently playing part 4, and It’s easily one of my favorite puzzle/mobile games to date. The design of every game in this series draws you in and keeps you playing, and it’s hard to stop because want to see what’s next. Beautiful rooms, fluid controls, soothing background music, and satisfying puzzle solves. Thanks for another great game David, please don’t stop making these!

Favorite game developer. This is the first time I’ve ever taken the time to review anyone’s game, but this developer deserves this plus some. I played his other games ages ago and was beyond excited when I saw he released another. There’s enough story to keep you interested but it’s also not dialogue after dialogue which is huge for me, as other games feel like they shove too much novel into a game. (And it’s usually pointless and just filler lines to make a game longer) but this gives you the ability to read later and actually think on what is read, if you enjoy a good puzzle escape give this dev a try he never disappoints.

Mg. I love the game so far, I did have one glitch when I had to press a button to reveal the number and nothing happened. I played the game for some time before asking for hint that explained the problem, I had to restart the game for it to play correctly .

Absolutely obsessed. Just when I was feeling a bit bored and contemplated replaying the other installments, I see there’s a new game! I cannot overstate how much I love getting absorbed into this world and discovering the new ways crystals are implemented. The controls are intuitive and don’t bog me down while remembering clues and going from room to room. Speaking of which, it’s nice to be able to teleport freely this time! Great job, thank you for your hard work!

Fantastic!. This is a fantastic, jaw dropping adventure game. Graphics are beautiful. I didn’t think I could feel so immersed in a game on an iPad. Game play is very smooth. I like this kind of adventure instead of the kind that just present puzzles as you wander. I’ve really had to think hard and spend time contemplating how things work together. So far, only one clue early on was/is beyond me. The hint system is top notch. This is definitely not a game to rush through, but to savor. And thanks to the dev for a truly generous price.

Really good game, buy all 4!. I love this whole series and I highly recommend all of them. Only reason I went with a 4 was that the last 1/8 of the game got a bit too confusing as to where to go next after finishing an area of play. Great graphics, long play, very inventive environments, and good puzzles. Hoping David will have a game 5 soon!

A Pleasant Puzzle Game. Every one of David’s games are fun, interesting, clever, and thank heavens he includes hints or I would rip my hair out. I love the rooms, machines that click when you have the right clue, doors that open with a special gem, water that moves if you find the right lever, I could go on and on. I look forward to more.

Great game but some puzzles are too hard. I really enjoy playing this game, it is a beautiful creation! My only complaint is that I find some of the puzzles too difficult for my old brain. Without the Hint system I would have been stuck several times. Others may have no problem with the puzzles but I find some too hard.

I like it. It’s really fun.. I’ve been with the series from the beginning and I really do like the games. The rooms are well drawn, the gameplay is smooth, and David (the creator) has finally found a good ratio of streamlined to backtracking in the puzzles that he makes. As far as I can tell this is all made by one person, so kudos for making a game so fun. My only suggestion, if a fifth game were to be made, I think it would be time for a story recap.

Keeping me interested. This is an awesome game that has no glitches so far.I will say that it’s difficult to keep track of where you’re at without looking at the map and even then it’s not all that helpful. It would be nice to have more puzzles integrated into the journey. However, for the price it’s really great so far.

Excellent Sequel. This is a great follow up to the Legacy series, and tops all three previous editions. Gameplay was mostly intuitive, and the puzzles that stumped me at first were solvable with a little more thought. I especially liked the navigation map that allows jumps between areas. It also shows game progress and what’s been completed, which I very much appreciate. Looking forward to Legacy 5 (hopefully) in the near future.

I LOVE these games!. These games are so fun! The puzzles are tough but solvable, the graphics are amazing and they actually have a really cool story that is intriguing and mysterious but not confusing. I’ve played the first three games multiple times and always enjoy them. It’s obvious that a lot of time and skill went into creating them! Great job!! Hopefully more to come:)

Legacy Tomb of Secrets. Love this game. It is thought provoking and tests the players skills of deduction and strategy. It is also made even better when the hints are so easily at hand and the map that makes it easy to travel between rooms that are easy to use and doesn’t give excessive moves and searches to help when it may be needed. Keep doing things like this!

Well worth the price. Another worthy member of the Legacy series. A good mix of puzzles to solve, with some that are fairly complex. Once or twice I thought I’d painted myself into a corner, but David had kindly built in a way to try, try again. Thanks, and keep creating these!

Everything about this game & developer is awesome. I was thrilled to see Legacy 4 in the game apps and purchased it immediately. The whole series is so well done. I was surprised to get stuck (completely out of my mind trying to figure it out) in the FIRST chapter and actually watched a walkthrough. It’s not something I normally do, but I was genuinely STUCK! When the walkthrough didn’t help, I figured there must be a glitch in the game and resigned myself to emailing for help/advice. I didn’t think I would hear from anyone anytime soon. Well, how wrong I was on that end too! David emailed me back in under an hour. Turns out, there was no glitch - it was 100% user error! I didn’t complete a task I thought I did. I was back in the game and I’m a happy camper again! Bravo David!!

Wow!. I have had the pleasure of playing the other “Legacy” games. As much as I enjoyed them, this is a step up. The puzzles are challenging but not so obtuse to be overly frustrating. Every time I finished a particular phase of the game, another opened up. For a while I thought that this game would have no end. But it does, and now I am sad.

Best puzzle game to date. Wow David! You have really out done your self this time! I have noticed all the up-grades you have put in there to make the game way more stream lined like: teleporting available in every room, not just certain rooms, hint system is way more improved (added link to walkthrough for said puzzle) more epic sized puzzles, new crystal concepts, better patterns, better machines to play with! It’s almost reminiscent of the myst series but better. Which is saying a lot because they were amazing epic games! I would rate it 9.7 out of 10 so far. All the previous games 1, 2 and three rated about 8.5 to 9.0 Please please PLEASE make another one David. You can’t stop now you are on a roll Best puzzle game/series I have played on iPhone EVER

Best yet. Am really enjoying this game by far as there are hints along the way if you are getting a bit frustrated with solving the sometimes allusive answer. I find myself getting totally lost in the world that David has created. Love it!

Brilliant Game. I have been looking for quite a while as to if another game in this series would be released. I was overjoyed to see this 4th instalment and I believe it’s the best of the 4th. The graphics, gameplay and story are top notch. The game is a great length and the puzzles can be solved if you are willing to think and be patient (if not, there’s a great hint system for you). Do try and solve things without hints though, the self satisfaction is worth it! Don’t hesitate a moment. Buy this game and you won’t be disappointed. Congratulations David. Love it. I’m really enjoying the game so far! The puzzles are not too extreme in difficulty( though I have used the hints when I’ve gotten stuck. ) . Legacy: The Tomb of Secrets. Very challenging game. Lots of great puzzles. There was only one game that I never really understood but that was likely my fault as the clues were there if you read them right. The story was amazing. All your hard work paid off, David. Love these games!. I have played them all, and they are challenging, but in a good way. Thankful for the hints as I got really stuck a couple times. I really hope there will be more to come. So much better than the endless selection of games just full of pointless hidden object scenes.

Assez difficile. Sans les indices et souvent les vidéos, on est bloqués. Le visuel est très réussi. Je n’aurais jamais passé à travers sans l’aide et pourtant je joue souvent à ce type de jeu. J’ai quand même apprécié le jeu.

Excellent Game. This is an excellent game! I played the first three in the series and they keep getting better with each version. The graphics are very detailed and the puzzles demanding and challenging. The hints, when needed, provide an increasing amount of information to guide you in the right direction. I could tell that this was a labour of love. Hope to play again when the next version comes along!

Good game . . .. Excellent game but a few of the puzzles were not the least bit intuitive. I had to consult a walk through twice when I was stuck. But as a person who loved Rooms, DaVinci and the Legacy prequels it’s well worth it.

Some of the puzzles are very challenging if you choose the option to play with no hints but the good news is you can decide how challenged you want to be so it will appeal to almost all levels of players. Extraordinary!. I loved all the Legacy series but Dave you knocked this one out of the park. Legacy 4, House of DaVinci,The Room and Aria are the 4 to beat. Wow. Excellent game! Looks beautiful and remains fluid throughout. The hint system is easy access and progressive, allowing as much or as little as needed to get through. Great puzzles.

Great game. I give it 4 stars because the pilot and puzzles were not as compelling as the prior games. Plus some of the solutions were a little too far out there to figure out naturally. But I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. Keep’em coming David 👏🏼

Great puzzles, interesting story. It’s rare to find a quality game that doesn’t bombard you with ads or sell your data. This is a great developer to follow. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!

One of the Best. I have played all the other Legacy games and couldn’t wait for 4 to come out. It does not disappoint. What a bargain, too! Don’t wait, get this game - there aren’t too many out there as good as this series!

Awesome. I’m a fan of these adventures and this one does not disappoint. I find I am learning to solve the puzzles a bit faster in this game, from experience with others. Haven’t needed as many hints. Now, back to the puzzle.

Very cool game!. I’ve loved the first 3, played them many times over so naturally was thrilled that there is a 4th! Awesome graphics and game play! Great map and hints if you need them. I highly recommend all of the Legacy games if you like games like The Room and House of Da Vinci!

Thank goodness for hints in this great puzzle game. Very challenging but satisfying game. Got stuck a few times but the gradual hints still gives you room to try to solve each stage. Well done David, that’s 4 and 4 for you, can’t wait for Legacy 5!

Excellent game. My son (7 years old and VERY smart) and I do these together. This one was one of the best we have done. (From my kiddo: P.S. it was the most best game I’ve ever played.)

Another solid entry!. I finished this game and almost immediately restarted it because I missed playing it! Still amazed that David is a solo developer and grateful he’s continuing to release new entries in the Legacy series. Looking forward to 5. (No pressure!)

BEST ONE YET. I couldn’t take my eyes off if it. The puzzles are hard but not so hard your ever truly stuck. It’s not a quick playing game. Prepare for hours of fun! Graphics rock! I LOVE the way the hints are rolled out. And the storyline is GREAT! High five!!!!

Excellent game. A lot of gameplay time available. Definitely needed to use the hints pretty extensively but it was very fun nonetheless. Totally worth the low price to purchase the game and highly recommended!

I can't believe how lame this is. I have enjoyed all the other Legacy adventures, but for quite some time now, as I play this one, it has become nothing but ridiculous busywork. I am so angry with this game that I don't even want to finish it. David, I know you work hard on these games, but this isn't worth your effort or mine.

Really wonderful. World full of great Rube Goldberg machines that you have to fix in order to progress. All of the legacy games have been great. Hint system is very well done. Lots of fun and stimulating to the brain.

Lots of fun. Many interesting puzzles. I took too many hints. But, once I saw the hint, I thought I could be more observant. A few puzzles were not obvious. I really enjoyed this game over the last few days.

Excellent sequel. Great puzzles and graphics throughout. Mini puzzles are Definitely on the easy side but the multi-room stuff is quite challenging!

A challenging but fun game. Just finished Chapter 1 and so far this has everything I want in a game. Relaxing yet challenging. Just the right amount of difficulty and so beautiful!

The entire series is Great!. This is the first point and click puzzle game I’ve played in years that felt new and entertaining. It’s the best of its genre since “The Room” series. I hope the game maker is working on more fun games!

Great game tho hints are necessary. Graphics are very enjoyable and lots of unique puzzles. Some puzzles are impossible to figure out without hints at least for me but good thing hints are provided

I’ve played them all. This is one of the top puzzle adventure games out there. The amount of work that went to this game is amazing and it shows. Way to go David. A must play.

Great game!. Loving this version! Puzzles are hard, but not impossible. Graphics are good, world is fun and inventive and I love that you can hop to different rooms on the map. A feature you don’t get often in this type of game.

Best Game since The Room!!. David has created an awesome, interactive and very intuitive escape room game. I have been searching for games like this since The Room left the platform. This is it and more. Great game play and the puzzles are thought provoking. Scenery and story are excellent too. The only thing I’d change is the hint system should be more like The Room where they are more suggestive and less showing solutions. Please make more games like this!!!

Worth it. I continue to play these games as the puzzles and the structure grows with brain benders. It’s not easy but hints are available for those that get stuck. I definitely recommend playing all 4!
