Legacy 3 - The Hidden Relic Game Description & Overview

What is legacy 3 - the hidden relic app? The adventure continues in Legacy 3 - The Hidden Relic.
Challenge yourself with this 3d point and click adventure game. Enter a hidden temple to discovery a mystery that has taken place there. Solve the puzzles in order to advance - but beware, someone might be watching. Maybe you should have an escape ready?

Legacy 3 will test your intelligence and memory. Play slow, think, analyze, and the puzzles will be easier for you solve.

Play as an young archaeologist who sets out on an adventure to follow his mentor who's gone missing in an ancient pyramid filled with rooms and puzzles. In the pyramid you encounter puzzles and riddles that need to be solved in order to take you to the next room, and hopefully an escape. Connect the dots to solve the hidden secret that lies buried.

I am very proud to present this mystery filled puzzle game. Guessing the solution to a puzzle should not be an option, you need to think before you can advance to the next room.
A classical point-and-click adventure game with beautiful 3D-graphics and physics-based puzzles that create a new depth to the puzzle and escape room genre.

BEAUTIFUL 3D
Legacy 3 - The Hidden relic is a beautiful 3d puzzle game.

CHALLENGING PUZZLES
When encountering a new puzzle, think before clicking. This game will reward you for thinking creatively and I always strive towards making the puzzles seem logical.

PICK UP ITEMS AND TAKE PHOTOS
The rooms in Legacy 3 are filled with items and clues that are there to help you on your quest. Interact with amazing touch controls to inspect your newly found keys and tools. If you see something that looks interesting you can use your camera and take a photo - of whatever you like! Trying to remember that instruction you saw ten rooms before? No problem - just use the camera and you don't have to!

ATMOSPHERE
Huge and natural looking locations designed with simplicity in mind creates a compelling and mysterious atmosphere. If Legacy 2 - The Ancient Curse was a dark game, this is the opposite. The rooms are big and brighter. But that does not make the puzzles easier. And there are still hidden objects that you need to find in order to solve the puzzles.

With an inbuilt hint-system you should be able to advance when you get stuck. Some puzzles are more difficult than others and this system should help you get to the next room.

Very well done.... This installment of the series was one of the best I have played! My wife and I enjoy playing these games together; the puzzles and storyline were amazing! Solving the puzzles took some creative thinking but we were able to go through the game using only a couple of hints. I would rather play games like this where finding the solution requires a lot of thought and problem solving vs some of the other games I have played where the puzzles are too easy. Hope you plan to make more of this caliber game, David, it was well worth the small cost to play!

I liked better than Myst. Very enjoyable while also being very challenging. David did a great job with all of it. Some of it was so hard that I wished for better clues. The clue of me being in the right room didn’t help a lot when I already knew that and still was at a loss for where to turn next. Maybe put a clock on the clues with the next update David and after certain amounts of game play time have elapsed give a stronger hint toward the next step. I don’t like going to the tube in order to get the answer given to me but would rather have increasing hint power to help me figure out what I’m doing wrong. But again, very good and definitely would charge for this. Missing out. I would have paid for them after the first. Give folks the first for free but then make a little money. Great job David!

Great game, irritating navigation. This is a great game, but the need to tap one part of the room then another and another just to get across the room which you could see from the start is just irritating. Teleportation helps but not enough imo. Part of it is that moving already requires a double tap, so that’s six taps to get across a room. It’s hard to explain, but for example: in the red room with the ladder, I had to tap the middle of the room, the base of the ladder, then the top of the ladder to get to the balcony. Because I already unlocked that route, it would be nice to have a streamlined path directly to the balcony. I know it’s a nitpick but it just got frustrating after a while. Other than that, the game is great! I do wish the hints were a little more helpful than just the two super vague options.

Great series! Some suggestions.. I love all three games in the Legacy series! They strike a good balance between puzzles that are too easy and those that are too hard. There were only two or three puzzles in the whole series that I can't see justification for the solution; not that there aren't good clues, I just didn't see them myself and had to resort to a walkthrough for help. Speaking of that, my only "complaint" about the games is the hint system -- it's pretty useless. I hope you can incorporate a real hint system in future games! Also, I see no point in only having teleportation to *some* rooms. Why not spare players the hassle of having to navigate to some rooms, remove the teleportation story plot, and just allow us to use the map to go to any previously visited room? I would also like to see a better map that shows ALL visited rooms, and not combine two rooms into one map location like it does for some places. I hope you take these suggestions as creative criticism, as intended. I really think they would improve the gameplay! And as I said, I love the games and hope you will make more soon!

Epically frustrated. I thought Legacy 1 was very cool, and Legacy 2 was even better, but this one is really frustrating me. I’ve been playing games like this for years, and I hate when they’re too easy, but some of the puzzles in this game I wouldn’t solve on my own in a million years. Most of the time, I was able to utilize the hint system to just point me in the right direction, but the walkthrough was necessary a little too often. Right now, I’m completely stuck even after seeing the solution multiple times. It’s the puzzle that makes the yellow gem glow, where you have to control the air flow. I just can’t get the timing right, and it’s driving me crazy. I want to complete the game, but I just can’t seem to do it. I still gave the game 4 stars though, because I want to see more games like this being made. There aren’t enough of them out there that are good.

Unpleasant Controls. The controls in this series feel deeply unpleasant. The Room games use a similar control scheme, and it’s occasionally abrasive there too, but here it’s bad to the point of being unplayable. The player is forced to click a particular sequence of objects in space to traverse - do you think you can move across to a far wall by clicking on that wall? Sorry, but no, you have to click a particular object between your current position and that wall, then maybe you can click through to that side of the room. And these traversal hit-boxes are often too small and unresponsive, adding to the nails-on-a-chalkboard sensation I now associate with the Legacy series’ approach to movement.

I LOVED PT 1 & PT of DAVID’S LEGACY SERIES. … BUT, MMMMMMAN!!! This 3rd installment… there were times, where I was losing my patience & mind, trying to figure certain puzzles OUT!!! I must be getting OLD 😭😭😭😭 I spent so much time in a given puzzle, trying to avoid the walkthroughs. I pretty much got fed up, 3/4 of the way through the BLUE CORRIDOR part, & I just followed the walkthrough. This PANDEMIC time on earth has EFFED ME UP, man! I just got through the game, 15mins ago, & idk WHY I feel such anxiety from figuring out the puzzles 😫😫😫 I’m supposed to drive for LYFT, &, suddenly, I’d much rather go outside & drink @ 3:38pm. But… On the contrary, I’m certain that David worked REALLY, really hard on the design, graphics, story, puzzles, & the entire concept of the game, as a whole (all 3 of them!) So, I’d like to let David know that, “THANK YOU FOR SPENDING YOUR PERSONAL TIME TO CREATE THESE WELL-THOUGHT OUT GAMES, FOR US HUMANS TO ENJOY!” I thoroughly LOVED & ENJOYED Legacy 1 & 2, INDUBITABLY! THIS 1, for me, was just a little too hard & I HAD to look @ the walkthrough, which I HATE DOING! Lol I’m just frustrated abt feeling that I’m getting old & not as savvy at these, as b4 😭😭😭 AGAIN, this has nothing to do w/ DILIGENT, HARD-WORKING DAVE. For every body else, YOU’RE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME!!!!

Very well done BUT.... I really enjoy these types of games and this one has great graphics, effects, sound, etc. The story is ancillary and too similar to other games I’ve played, but that’s not important. I DO have issue with some of the puzzles and problem solving, however. It’s very frustrating and unenjoyable when you have to rely too heavily on walkthroughs just to progress.... and it’s especially vexing once you watch a puzzle/problem being solved and have no earthly idea how the solution was derived. I ask myself...where is the logical bridge that leads to that solution?!?! I have said this too many times during this game and it’s annoying. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Challenging. I've enjoyed this series. It's challenging and well designed, the graphics are detailed and each release is always more complex and more challenging than the previous. Long game -- excellent. Well crafted, intelligent, fun adventure puzzle games aren't released all that often, so when I find a product that consistently entertains and challenges, the series goes on my list and I buy/play them as they come out. This guy does it by himself -- hard to believe. Great job. This is so worth the price and I hope he keeps creating more fun diversions so I can continue to postpone mowing, etc. Lol. Enjoy!

Fun challenge. Just finished the third installment of Legacy and I’m wanting episode #4! The gameplay was smooth, navigation worked very well, and the logic of the overall game was great. I did experience a minor glitch with the glowing red amulet clues. Sometimes there would be no mini video of the “view into the past” and I’d be in the dark as to whatever clue was supposed to be learned. This was the best episode of the trilogy by far. I was expecting one last epic puzzle tying all of it together after the fourth corridor was solved. That wasn’t to be so I was slightly disappointed in the ending, but perhaps it was necessary to pave the way for Legacy IV? We can only hope.

I love it ..... Totally worth the money !. This is by far the best Legacy game of the 3. The graphic are amazing and the controls are super easy. I really love the new hint option however I wish you could either purchase or earn hints quicker than they become available... I know there are walkthroughs available if you get stuck but I don’t like being given the whole answer sometimes I just need a small point in the right direction like how or where to use an object, or where to go next ... With that being said David you are doing an amazing job and I can’t wait for you to develop more games like this. Besides The Room Series this is my New Favorite ! Thank you !!

Another impressive design, another head-pounding experience. Yes, Mr. Adrian has a brilliant imagination for scenic design and puzzle creation...but this attitude of telling the player to figure it out completely for themselves or just look up the answer in the (kindly author-provided) videos walkthroughs is grating and IMO shortsighted. I'm almost tempted to knock another star off for a certain puzzle towards the end of the game that brings back moon logic in all its glory. Concerning this title in particular, I certainly appreciated the structure and segmentation of the various challenges...an improvement from the 2nd game. It's clever to incorporate fast travel as a diegetic element but yet it's only implemented half-way, so there remains much extraneous tracking around. The hint system is abstract and clunky...I mean, if it tells you're in the room with the next thing to do, but yet you don't have everything you need to do it, then you're not in the right room(!) Unfortunately, the bittersweet taste of this experience and the previous title have turned me off the Legacy series...there are plenty of other games to play.

Better than Legacy 2!. ....Which was a stellar immersive experience. I love the archaeological style of this game. Half the fun is figuring what needs doing, the other half is doing it, then enjoying how the game advances. Hints are helpful and don’t give anything away. LOVE transporting between rooms with the glowing icon indicating current location. Absolutely amazing all this is created by one person! This is right up there with The Room series...you must play if you’re a fan. Outstanding value for the money. A true gem. (Heh heh)

Great game. This is a fun point and click adventure. It builds off of the first two games. It’s not the same quality as, say, the room series. But, this is made by one guy, so it gets 5 stars. Graphics and animations are good, sound is fair. Navigation can feel a little clunky now and then. For instance, double tapping to move works most of the time, but the targets can be too small. And sometimes you can’t move to the location you want to be in, even though you can see, and tap on it; you have to move to a different t place next to you, and then move where you want to be. I know that sounds worse than it actually is. It might be a tiny bit rough around the edges but it’s definitely worth the price and I do recommend playing this one.

Frustration epitomized. Albeit there have been some improvements since Legacy 2; Legacy 3 controls are still clunky. The swipe function when using items is always an issue with iPhone and you end up swiping out of game. The needed addition of the pinch-out function would be complimented if the actual point and click method worked flawlessly, but it doesn’t. This game is still void of clues, the hints function is more confusing than assisting. The puzzles become RIDICULOUSLY complicated; void of meaning with silly confusing graphics and controls; leaving you wondering what the hell to do next instead of enjoying the game. I can’t imagine anyone getting through this convoluted jungle without walkthrough assistance. Even the walkthroughs are a challenge to follow and void of logic. I deleted the game after the frustration of the green room “dropping blocks” level; following the walkthrough is mandatory because who would know what the hell to do, but unfortunately a game glitch prevents it from working properly and keeps dropping the first block before I can stack them. This game would have so much promise if the puzzles weren’t so inordinately frustrating and void of logic.

Frustrated. While I do want to be challenged, I found this game to be very frustrating and a little stressful. I never had to use a walkthrough for The Room series or House of Da Vinci series, but I had to use the walkthroughs a lot with this game. No rhyme or reason to the puzzles sometimes. I would watch a walkthrough and say Duh to myself and other times there was NO WAY I would have figured it out. I don’t think the “hints” are really hints at all. It was the same two or three questions for the entire game with yes or no answers or answers that are obscure. I didn’t hate the game, however, I threw in the towel a little into the yellow corridor because I lost interest. It was frustrating and just wasn’t any fun at this point.

Great puzzles. I loved the puzzles but felt that the plot and story was to disconnected from the puzzles leaving me to wonder how the answers were to be discovered if not from just the notion that many of us play these kinds of puzzles all the time and look for the obscure. Since the puzzles had been completed at one point I would have expected more in game clues and or writings on the walls figuratively and literally. Notes from a scientist in abundance and hints and clues inlays throughout the game play leaving me not needing the walkthrough. Something as simple as seeing grind or strike marks on the brick in the yellow area behind the spheres would have indicated what to do.

Master Solo Developer. I’ve tried and tried to find some escape puzzle adventures that meet the expectations of someone who loves Glitch Games Forever Lost and all of their games, and The Room series by Fireproof. All efforts have been unsuccessful until I stumbled upon this Legacy series by David. All I can say is OMG! I’m on Legend 3 and already having withdrawals as I think about reaching the end of this game! A solo developer who can turn out product like this needs a full stable of others to help him creat even more of his masterful puzzle games. His talent is amazing and the games show it. I urge everyone who loves Forever Lost, The Room, and their sequels to dive into Legends 1 (basic) and Legends 2 and 3 (remarkable Improvements as he goes forward)! You won’t be disappointed. You will be finding it hard to put down.

Best game yet. Ok David. This is a real review. Your game was absolutely AMAZING. Beyond words. The graphics were phenomenal. The story was wonderful and intriguing. The puzzles, unlike any I’ve ever done before. They were so much fun and very challenging. I cannot express how much I truly enjoyed this game. It took me 8 hours, 4 minutes, and 53 seconds, according to the end screen with the credits. I really liked the creative puzzles, I’ll never understand how in the world you can come up with such great environments and puzzles that go with them. It’s mind blowing. I’ve now played all 3 and by far, this third installment is my absolute favorite. I enjoyed the Legacy trilogy more than I did The Room series, AND the House of DaVinci games. You are a true genius my friend. Anyone looking for a game better than The Room - definitely get this game. It’s worth every penny, AND MORE. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Good job, David. I’m hoping there’s going to be more, but if not, you ended it with a bang. Literally. 👍🏼❤️

Hire someone to help you. Hey man, these games are great but they are still rough around the edges. I’m in the second room right now, blue room, and the ring puzzle is a nightmare. After you solve it, it looks obvious that you should click the power button next to it to move the arrow into place. But wait, that’s not a power button, it resets the whole puzzle. So after spending a mindbending 20 minutes trying to solve it, all was lost. I’m trying my best to understand why that would be a part of this. I’m still looking forward to more of these but I have reservations if this is how it is going to go.

Absolutely AMAZING!. This game is an absolute MUST for anyone who likes adventure puzzle games. David did an amazing job of creating a challenging adventure with puzzles that make sense! Is it difficult? Yes - and I guess everyone has a different threshold when it comes to that. But he also has a really good hint system, that helps you out without giving anything away. So even if you use a hint you don’t feel that you “cheated”. I rarely write reviews and I have only solved probably a quarter of the game so far, but just felt compelled to write one, because I really searched for something like this after I played “The Eyes of Ara” which I found so extremely difficult that I almost stopped playing it, and afterwards needed to take a break from these types of games altogether! This one is SO MUCH better, an extremely high entertainment value, and I will definitely get Legacy 1 and Legacy 2 when I am done playing it. One more thing worth mentioning: love the teleport system, that quickly lets you access key rooms, camera is a fun idea but honestly I prefer using my phone camera instead, because then when I look at the photo, I am not covering up the puzzle on the screen that I want to look at, that needs the clue that I photographed. Please keep these games coming David!

David, your creativity is astounding!. Thank you for the beauty, complexity, and variety of challenges you designed throughout this most remarkable experience. My friend, guy, made this experience possible! ‘Overall, the puzzles were creative and not too simple. Some of the puzzles were so hard, even the clue system didn’t offer much insight. The art design was good. Running everywhere from a few set rooms was maybe one of the more annoying things.’ An aside: guy also reflected that the annoyance was enhanced since he had to give me directions very often! Guy gives this work a school grade of B+ (equivalent of 8-9 in Finnish school grade) and I am still amazed at your genius, David (stoicmom). I look forward to more of your game creations!

Great Game. Very nicely done. Six stars. Puzzles make you think outside the box in some instances. Big fan of the series. Hope they keep coming. My only issue (probably on my end, not the game) was that during the ending “explosion” scene the game shut off and I had start it up again. I continued where that scene would have ended. I was like ‘oh that’s kind of cool, the “explosion” purposely caused the game to shut off.’ But no. It didn’t. I had to explore for a while until I found the relic since I didn’t see the part of the cut scene where it came down. Like I said probably a glitch on my end. Still giving 6 stars. Thank you David.

Hello, walkthrough, my old friend. This was by far the most challenging escape game I have ever played. Without the walkthrough videos, I wouldn’t have made it past the tutorial much less finish the game. There is no way anyone other than the creator can make it through this game without using the walkthroughs. The first 2 games in the series were more enjoyable in the sense that I felt that I was able to complete the majority of those 2 without total reliance on a walkthrough. The graphics are great and I didn’t encounter any glitches. So that’s always a plus. The game plays great, it just feels a little impossible.

Level 10/10, definitely one for thinkers!. *no spoilers* By far the most challenging mobile puzzle game out of all I have played. This includes house of davinci, lost worlds, and all the room series plus others. A good combination of relatively easy puzzles, and ones that truly will convince you they are impossible. I did like the hint system on this edition, it is just enough to help without spoiling the solution. If you can get through this game completely without using a walkthrough once, you are definitely an accomplished puzzler. Thanks for making this excellent game David, looking forward to the next one!

Tough but great game. I absolutely loved all 3 games! There were definitely some parts of part 3 that I would have never been able to get without the walkthrough and that in itself is a little frustrating. I absolutely love the game and the thought that has to go into it is exactly what I am looking for, although the times I get completely stuck the “hints” don’t really help much. I would prefer to never have to watch a walkthrough but some things did not go together until I did. All in all this is definitely a game series I would recommend to anyone looking for a good game with good length and a great deal of thought put into it! Can’t wait to see how you step it up even more for the next game! Please keep going David!

Frustrating But Fantastic. The first two levels are absolutely wonderful (difficult but wonderful). The flow was directionally correct and solvable without many hints or clues. The third level and fourth levels were exceptional but without some direction I don’t believe I would have reached the end. Loved the graphics! Not many of these games are close to the quality and creativity that are presented here. At the end of the day the enjoyment of playing this game was well worth the frustration. Thanks for the journey.

Intricate and challenging!. Be prepared to take notes! This game took me quite a while. There were some things that were so challenging. i was happy to have a walkthrough for things that i understood but had missed, or saw but didn’t understand…i found the in-game hint system more confusing than helpful. however, i really enjoyed the depth of the puzzles here. i have a bad memory so i need to play as much as possible in one sitting, and take diligent notes. it’s worth noting the details are absolutely glorious…things like the worn away metallic orb that rotates. textures and surfaces. the design of a room. i can tell David put SO much into this game (all of them, really!). it’s been a delight and i would love another Legacy game in the future. thank you, David.

Best yet. Definitely the best of the Legacy games so far and all in all an entertaining challenge. Legacy 2 often felt too sprawling, with clues and action points leapfrogging about through a couple dozen rooms. Though of a similar size, this game mostly corrects that by breaking the challenge into self-contained sections. There’s some crossover and backtracking between sections, but much of that is logically deductible. Not all, though: by the final section some of the interconnections and puzzle solutions become pretty abstruse. Also some of the actions required by that point depart from the established patterns of the game (e.g. yarn, brush), making it beyond difficult to arrive at a solution organically. Overall this game presents great graphics, immersive atmosphere, hours of legitimately challenging puzzle solving, and only a little bit of overshooting the mark near the end. Well worth the price of admission for fans of the genre. Hope to see more from this developer soon.

More to come?. Update, can’t wait to play Legacy 4, it is out now! I am really enjoying these, I've played all three and I can see the increasing depth of mechanics and story as David's experience grows. I liked the hint system, but used the walk through at times because I wasn't sure how hints were gained, but they did increase as I progressed through the game. There was one yellow room that I couldn't get to, but I am not sure we were supposed to? I would never have figured out the statue's significance without the walkthrough, though I made sense of the rest of the puzzles, and gave myself a slap for missing a couple of the clues. I don't know if it was a glitch that I could reach the green goo from the walkway by the pedestal. I didn't enter that room from where the video indicated the player should appear from, which also meant that there was one doorway I couldn't access in that room. I am anticipating the next episode, especially since the ending caught me off guard when it happened. I should like to have had an option to hit the last couple of steps again, to be sure I didn't miss something, even though getting the completion screen meant I had solved all of the puzzles. Well done over all great fun.

Great Game - Highly Recommended. Legacy 3 is a fun, well designed game. It must be challenging for a developer to balance difficulty with frustration to create an game with the right amount of tension to keep users interested and enjoying the experience. Legacy 3 does just that. Some games may have more involved graphics, or better back stories. Some are longer. That said, Legacy 3 hits a sweet spot that is enjoyable and fascinating. Thanks for building such a fun gaming experience! Looking forward to working backwards through the rest of the series!

Fun and challenging third episode. Lots to solve in this game and like others you need to keep looking around and remember what you’ve seen. Take snapshots of things! I had a white board next to me to take notes along the way of what I wanted to do next. The clue system which tells you if you’ve got what you need to do the next step is helpful. There are definitely times when I’ve had an object and no idea how to use it, and resorted to walkthroughs to figure it out, with no guilt for not guessing the solution. Or times when I’ve just not figured out the UI for how to use something and needed to see it. But super fun and worth every penny spent!

Impossibly difficult. This game is WAY HARD!!!! I know I’m old but wow, this is just impossible! I accept the challenge as long as walkthroughs exist, but now I am absolutely stumped even with the actual walkthrough! That’s OK though. I’m just having a really hard time believing anyone can possibly complete this game without cheats because some of these puzzles are just too obscure. So, yeah, OF COURSE I will buy the next game. Apparently I’m a masochist. And soon I will also be an alcoholic, because this game is driving me to that.

The best game ever!. I love games that make me think and legacy 3 does not disappoint! In some ways it is more difficult than the first two games but there are aspects to the game which make it so much more seamless during play. For some reason I am not struggling to remember the rooms as I did in the other 2 games (definitely age related)! I use walkthroughs for help and the new built in help within the game is very clever. It helps just enough, a good amount of the time, so I can figure out the next step. This game will keep you entertained for hours! I can’t say enough about how excellent the developer is in terms of his creativity, ability to weave an amazing story that captures and held my interest. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Awesome follow up to 1+2. Each legacy is better than the last. I enjoyed all 3 of your games and I’m hoping they’ll be a 4th. Maybe exploring the pyramid that appeared. Only thing I hoped for was one more puzzle to solve after finishing Yellow. Something to do with the 5 rings maybe. In any case, please keep them coming! YEAH! I got your response and now I’ve just bought Legacy 4! Can’t wait to just sink into it! You do awesome work! Thanks….I know you JUST released 4…..time to start on FIVE! Thanks, man!

Best so far, here’s hoping for more!. I’ve played the previous games as well, and although the 1st game is the most rough around the edges all three games are simply amazing. After being spoiled on the room series of games it’s hard to find good room escape, but these all deliver a good few hours(or more if you get stuck like I do) of enjoyment. I especially like the more logical aspects to the puzzle solving, some games feel so random, but all of the legacy games are definitely worth the price of admission. If you love room escape games don’t hesitate just buy all three!

Hours of brain cell burning!. Fantastic game David. I love getting absorbed in your world of logic and observation. I’m ⅔ into the game but had to resort to the Blue walkthrough twice. Once because the train stumped me. After seeing what to do I still could not fathom your logic! The glass jar also stumped me but I love the solution; I won’t give anything way ;) I preferred the system in the previous game where you got a hint when a room had been fully solved as it helped me know where I needed to go and not wasted time going through completed rooms trying to remember if I had completed it. Minor grip/personal choice. Every time I progress, in the back of my mind I’m regretting that it also means I’m closer to ending the game. I want it to go on forever!

One of the best!. I play just about every puzzle/escape room game I find. This is one of the best; falling only behind game series like The Room and DaVinci because their graphics are far superior. The puzzle mechanics of this series are just the right complexity... not so easy you breeze through the game, and not so overly complicated you can’t eventually figure out how to progress. Lots of fun game play for the price. Worth it. I am very glad the developer added the hints in this edition. They only tell you if 1) you’re in the correct room, or 2) do you have what you need to solve. The hints do not tell you how to solve anything, which I love. The last one became ridiculous trying to remember how to get to rooms and where certain puzzle elements lived. So it’s a very welcome feature! Well done, I hope the series continues.

Real Disappointment. The game starts off great. I was enjoying the game, workng through the 4 sections. All was good until I reached level “Yellow”. Towards the later half of this section the control response suffered from serious lag time. Then commands used throughout the game, such as swiping to turn, began performing other functions. In the example provided the swipe would back me to my previous position, like back to the entrance of the room. After working through these issues the game then resets the room I am in (off RM 22, with the number/letters the paint is used) after time was spent working the puzzle. So now I have to start over. Not sure what the issue is but wanted to bring it to your attention. Outside of this issue the game has been great. I have played all the games in this series and complment the programer on a job well done.

Very engaging game. Started with the first and worked my way through the third. Extremely challenging puzzles, which could stand a bit more set up since the player didn’t write the story. You definitely will need the walkthrough because the puzzles are not straightforward by any stretch of the imagination. But still, a very good brain exercise during social distancing. Hopefully David will continue with this franchise. The graphics have really improved from the first go round. It plays very smoothly on my iPhone 6. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Amazing Game. Though it can get a little tough at times, it’s kind of the perfect level of difficulty, the perfect length game (I found myself thinking it was over until I was pleasantly surprised with the yellow level) and a beautiful atmosphere. I finished Legacy 4 and decided to go back and play the first 3 again. Not to liken everything to the Room series, but if you’re a fan of The Room, House of DaVinci, et. al, you know there aren’t many games that stand up to them. This series absolutely does, but it’s a bit different. Equally creative I would say, and perhaps a touch more difficult/complex (there are a few times when you have to go back to a room you haven’t been in in quite some time). Hint system is great without giving too much away (do you have what you need to solve the next puzzle, and is the puzzle in this room). Brilliant, and Bravo!

Thoroughly Entertained. I’m having a ball as usual. The graphics are great, the puzzles are challenging. When I finish this one I will look forward to another “chapter.” FYI.... I like to be stumped, but I also like it that there are two possibilities for getting help. Within the game you can ask if there is something to do in your current room and if you have what you need. If that doesn’t get you unstuck, you can Google the name of the game and see walkthrough videos (not sure who makes them).

Mind boggling fun!!. Halfway into this and I am incredibly impressed with how much better this game is in story, graphics, mechanics, the ability to move around and transport between some rooms, it is just an incredible upgrade by this developer over his two previous great games. I appreciate his bare bones “hints” in this game. The barest of info so that nothing is given away, but a simple acknowledgement as to whether there is anything left to do in a room, or if you have what you need to accomplish the next challenge. Brilliant! Nothing is given away, and I’m inspired to continue on, refiguring my next move. Absolutely loving this. My favorite game of the three! Thank you David! Keep creating so I can keep participating in the adventurous journeys.

So good!. Wow this game is fantastic! It’s also a bargain. David I hope you keep them coming. I have enjoyed playing this series more than The Room and I really loved playing those. Not sure why but it’s just more fun. I’ve had to use the You Tube walkthrough for a few things that I don’t think I would have ever figured out. I wish I didn’t but still that is less than usual with these types of games. This one makes the most sense to me even though it’s challenging. It’s not generally out of left field. Just a couple of things have been but overall it makes sense. Challenging is great as long as it makes sense.

Enjoyable, but…. I really enjoyed the first two Legacy games and looked forward to the third one. However I have been stumped too many times and have to watch the walk through to get anywhere. Maybe it’s just me but the puzzles are too difficult for my old brain. Many of the puzzles do not seem to a clue that logically connects to the given puzzle. I appreciate all of the effort and design that went into the game but constantly going back to the walk through doesn’t feel satisfactory.

It's wonderful.... I'm so sad I've now played all three games - I miss them and they were so much fun! They just kept getting better and better. The puzzles are all fair and figure-out-able, though a couple were totally Babelfish worthy (some of you will get that and understand it's a compliment) I kicked myself at the few I didn't figure out because I wasn't observant enough and didn't pay close enough attention to what was happening around me after some actions. One I never even came close to, it was too tricky. But after I stopped swearing at the solution , I had to acknowledge if I had looked at it from a different point of view (literally), the clue was fair. But hard, nonetheless! I took good notes this time about each room, which helps a lot. And the camera is a fabulous addition, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Please make more. You have a fan for life. 😊

Talk about a challange. It took me a great deal of time to complete the game, and the ending is kind of a disappointment, but the puzzles were a bit too complex at times. I could solve most of them, but near the end I did have to refer to the walkthroughs because none of the action or puzzle solutions were making any sense. It might be that in my wandering around, I would stumble upon a missing piece out of sequence and that would be a mystery to try and figure out where it went. That’s when the walkthroughs would be of help. All in all, I’m glad I’m done with it and need the break to recharge my mind.

Worth it. Okay, so the beginning can get really confusing, and you'll probably feel lost during the first two parts. Stick with it, read everything (letters, comments on items, etc.), and explore everywhere. It gets better and better as the game progresses - the last part is beautiful both in game play and visuals/story. So, while it may be a slow start to appreciate, it all comes together in the last act, and you'll enjoy every second of it. Advice: Take your time. Think outside the box: Sometimes a solution is presented one way, but a successful use of said solution may require require you to flip/rotate/mirror the image.

AMAZING GAME. This game is so Incredibly good... It's challenging, the graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is smooth, the puzzles are varied and fun, and it's long.... It's just wonderful. I love the hint system because it helps you without giving anything away. If you really need an answer, there's the walkthrough. It is quite hard so maybe not for beginners, but so many of us are not beginners. It took me a bit to get into the thinking of the game... in any game you always have to get into the way the dev thinks, and this one requires careful thought and attention to detail... the game doesn't do the work for you. But that's what makes it so satisfying when you figure another bit out. It was a happy day when this game arrived in the App Store! I've played all of this dev's games and each one has been great, and they just keep getting better and better. In my opinion this one is up there with all the best games. David Adrian, you are carving out a spot for yourself up at the top with the best of the best. Keep going. More please! Update: played number 4, loved it, reviewed it. 😍

Used to be great, update broke everything. I used to really enjoy this game so once I saw the update I wanted to try again. While the graphics are updated, it is basically unplayable now. I’ve had to force restart at least three times because of various issues. At one point the amulet (an essential part of the game) disappeared from my inventory. Since you can’t move forward without it I was stuck. The next time the graphics failed to load on a puzzle, so it couldn’t be completed. These weren’t minor inconveniences, they were issues that made it impossible to continue. And despite reloading the game multiple times nothing worked. It’s disappointing that in the name of making things “prettier” the actual substance of the game was ruined.

Nicely produced. Out of the box logic, still flowed nicely through the game though...

Legacy 3. Excellent game I love them keep making ones like this thank you

Great game. Lots of engaging puzzles and a good length. Really enjoyed it

Must play game. This is not an easy puzzle game but very rewarding and a nice storyline as well. Excellently executed.

Great game. Great range of puzzles and plenty challenging. Look forward to Legacy 4........

Love game. Very visual,, tests yr memory,, hours of entertainment or frustration which ever one suits. But worth every penny.

Great game. Good puzzles and graphics. I think I preferred Legacy2 for several reasons. Firstly you could see the completed rooms and secondly the puzzles where a little more logical. In this game the puzzles seemed too disconnected and not easy to solve logically. Great game though. Good work

Awesome game. I love these puzzle games, and the developer really knows his craft. Some really tricky ones that are so satisfying when you get them right. I can’t put this game down

Legacy 3. I thoroughly appreciated the great graphics of this game but the game play was confusing & I had to YouTube where to go in some parts of the game coz I was completely lost. Maybe my minds not as sharp as it use to be coz I totally love these games but this one I’m not a big fan hence why I gave it 3 stars

Legacy 3: the hidden relic. I have loved all of the Legacy series and managed all but one of the puzzles. Lovely graphics, and at the age of 72, games like this are great for keeping the little grey cells active.

Amazing puzzles - makes you think. Love this type of game. There few and far between and this ticks all the boxes. Puzzles are great and it makes you think which I love.

Great game. Good game, nice puzzles

Doesn’t make sense. Already stuck and even the YouTube walkthrough doesn’t make sense. Not happy I paid for a game that is vague and nonsensical.

100% fantastic. Why can’t we have more games like this one? Challenging, beautifully crafted, clever, sometimes frustrating, but always fun. One of the best games I’ve ever played. This game is right up there with The Room series and the Forever Lost series - I really hope for more xxxx

Great. Amaaaazing game Really challenging and mind blowing. It’s not easy at all and requires a lot of analysing and attention to details. Great work

Hurry up and make another one!. Great game, I wish you would develop some more!

Excellent. Love, love, loved all three of these games. Puzzles got you thinking without being too hard. Kept me interested the whole time. Thank you so much!! I really hope you continue on with this series, or even make some other games. Definitely after some more like this.

Time well spent. Enjoyable puzzles, I hope you develop more games

On par with “the room” series. I have always loved these games but they are few and far between. Please keep producing gold like this! Thanks for the no adds or in game purchases too. Wonderful experience.

Not as good. I loved the first two and as hard as the puzzles were I only had to use walkthrough a couple of times. So far in this instalment the constant back and forth between rooms is getting a little annoying and some of the puzzles don’t really connect or make sense. The hint system has it’s limits. But once again thank you David for all the hard work you put into these games, if it wasn’t challenging (and I need my brain challenged) I wouldn’t play them.

Wonderful Challenge. Superb puzzles and story put this game right up there with the best in its genre, like The Room, etc. Challenging at times but well worth it. Bravo!

Really great game. Loved every minute of it

great challenge. fantastic graphics, great challenge. cant stop playing!

Testing the grey cells. Enjoying but finding it hard to figure some of the puzzles but do love it hope there are more to come like this

Fairly challenging. I loved the game, although some of the puzzles literally had me boggled. It seemed that some puzzles didn’t have clues, I had to guess.

Bit tricky. Great game. Just some of the thought processes to solve the puzzles are not immediately obvious. Have needed the walkthrough and hints quite a bit.

cafca. Brilliant visually with very intelligent puzzles requiring lateral thinking. Great game for visual artists. Immersive room designs nice use of expansive space and sound.

Five stars. Please keep making games like these, they are so good and just challenging enough I love that it’s a once off price for the game unlike most games these days. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Oh So Good. I also commend David for a real twister. Loving first two, can’t wait to get into the next set. ❤️

Très bon jeu!. Très bon jeu du genre. Pour ceux qui aiment se casser la tête. Bravo!

I wouldn’t. Garbage.

Puzzles aren’t always logical. Beautiful game and I hope he makes more. I love da Vinci code and the Room. This is almost as good, but some of the puzzles you really can’t figure out with seeing a walk through. The logic is just a stretch. With a little more hints in the storyline, and a better hint system (not just do I have it or what room), I would raise this to a five.

Wow Wow Wow !. J’adore tout simplement ! Bravo ! 🙏🙏🙏

Amazing challenges …... …… which cause you to think! But not impossible to figure out if you look at all the clues. Don’t hesitate to purchase.

Fantastic. Really enjoyed the game. The puzzles were great, very challenging. Thank you. Hope you keep doing some games like this.

Great Game. Lots of puzzles to solve and some tricky ones to figure out!

Very Fun. Would recommend. Very Enjoyable.

Great game and series!!. Love the series. Got better as you progressed through all 3 Legacy series. Can't wait for another release! Keep them coming please!!

Vraiment bien fait. Les images, les couleurs sont tout à fait réussies.

Enough fun for two. Great game to play alongside a partner since this one is tough enough that it challenges two people at once.

Great game. Very nice, great mix of classic puzzles and original ones, well worth the price!

Very well made!. Best puzzle solving game there is! Challenging and beautifully made! Cheers!

Roddyboy. Another fantastic Legacy game. I have played all three and believe you should do them in order because it helps to understand the game play. I recommend looking for the right clue and do not guess at each puzzle station. Bravo again and I can’t wait for the next instalment. Right up there with The room and House of da Vinci.

One of the best I’ve played!. This game was really fun, full of great puzzles and interesting visuals. Much better than most. Thanks David! Can’t wait for the next one.

FANTASTIC!!!. Great looking game with interesting and challenging puzzles. Topnotch work!

Good games but very difficult. It’s my third legacy games and I really enjoy the design and the gameplay. However this one is much more difficult than the previous and I couldn’t have solved it without the walkthrough.

Great Game!. This game has fabulous puzzles I’m going to be sad when it’s over I hope they’re more to come.

Absolutely Fantastic. Great puzzles, Great Visuals

One of better wanes in this niche. Fits in with the room and DaVinci Am enjoying the game and found it challenging and in some ways more difficult than the above games. It took effort many times to figure out where to go to apply tools acquired or pieces of knowledge just learned Provided 12 hr 45 mins of entertainment so to me was good value for money

Too clever by a half. Unbelievable development, however too many logic leaps to give 5 stars. Needs to be less of walkthrough heavy experience for normal players.

Superb. Great game. A few hard puzzles but otherwise very satisfying and challenging.

Annoying and frustrating. I have done many games I enjoy. This one is not intuitive, too difficult and not enjoyable to play. I was stuck almost immediately, tried “walkthrough”, deleted and reinstalled, wasted more time feeling stupid. I want my money back!

Five stars. A lot of fun. Some puzzles are a bit confusing but once you clue in they’re solvable. Excellent work. Beautiful and detailed interface and animations.

Good game. Never could have done it without the walk though cheats

Great Challenges. Excellent game, logical puzzles, loads of enjoyment.

Challenging. This game is really great! And I live how challenging it actually is... Lots of play time for your buck

Great game. I love that the camera now shows the room number. Suggestion: It would be better if, like Legacy2, there was a chackmark to indicate that the room was complete. It would also be a good idea if room numbers were marked above the door - especially when one room is actually 3 rooms (like 22)

Good but hard. Very well made, but some of the puzzles are really not intuitive. I will admit I had to look at a walk through a few times. The scenery is well made and it flows.

Great development over this series of games. It has been interesting and fun to see how your skills have developed to improve each game as the series progresses. This last game is very very good. Navigating has become smoother eac time, the puzzles are always clever and varied and the difficulty level is always satisfyingly challenging. I love the additional amulet abilities you introduced in games 2 and 3 and would love to see these explored in new ways and in more depth in future games. I will definitely play the next one!

Excellent. Intense concentration. Great puzzles. Loved it all.

Good series. Good puzzles, atmospheric environment. I want more! Thanks for good games.

Excellent. Great game, I enjoyed it a lot. Please keep making them!

As all these games should be.. Extremely enjoyable. Good graphics Original and challenging puzzles Long game play No ads. The odd spot where the relationship between objects and their use is not logical or clear but otherwise a solid and fun game.

As good if not better than The Room. Love these games. Really challenging and beautifully worked. I am a huge fan of The Room series and this game was up to the same standard. Thank you and can’t wait for your next adventure.

Trop complexe. Merci

Outstanding!. I loved every second of this game!! The others as well, but this outshined the rest! Great puzzles, designs, interactions! It made the game more interesting with all the different twists and turns! The only sad thing is that is now over...please make more!!!!!

Legacy offers lots of challenge!. Thank you, David! Well done! It’s an awesome series.

Fun and Challenging. Obviously I enjoy David’s games, or I wouldn’t be playing the third chapter in this series. His games have nice graphics, interesting storylines and challenging puzzles. I particularly like the fact that in this game, he built-in a Hint component. Bottom Line: Very entertaining game which I highly recommend.

Awesome. Thanks David! Can’t wait for more!! There is more??? Right?

Great Game!. One of the better puzzle games I have tried. Good job David.

Intriguant. Bon jeux qui a dû demander beaucoup de travail….difficiles par moment j’ai eu besoin d’indices pour y arriver …. Il est en aussi en français ce qui n’est pas indiqué

Love it !. Very well designed. Not an easy game. The hint system just nudges you along without revealing the solution. Love those haha moments when you figure out a puzzle. Can’t wait to play the fourth one!

Hate it!. Not fun. I’m done with being stuck.

Excellent. I’m really enjoying this game, just like Legacy 2

Super. J’ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié ce jeu... merci

Great. I really enjoyed all of these games!

Que de challenge!. J’adore!!! J’espère qu’il y en aura encore plusieurs autres...;) David tu travaille super fort! Excellente animation... les intrigues sont hyper recherchées Tu as su faire de moi une accro!!!

Great adventure. I played all of David’s games. It was fun to see the games get better as the series went along, but definitely play all of them. They are great point and click adventures with a story that doesn’t get in the way, but is there to ground the game. This one was the toughest and I had to use a walkthrough for parts.

Great game, some puzzles difficult. Great game! I like the Legacy games, some annoyances with L3: some puzzles were difficult or fussy, needing walkthrough or do overs and over ... Argh. And while I much appreciated the addition of hints, as suggested by many Legacy reviews, these seemed somewhat useless. The navigation is a bit annoying: 4 clicks for moves that look like they should take 1 or 2. Overall though it’s a clever game with great graphics by the very talented David. Will definitely play more of his releases.

Great puzzles — better than The Room and House of da Vinci. I’m loving legacy, because the puzzles are really varied, and the problem-solving is more open-ended than in other puzzle games that I also enjoyed, like The Room series and House of da Vinci. The graphics and user interface in Legacy aren’t as slick, but that’s ok because the quality of the puzzles more than makes up for it.

Fantastic. Awesome Awesome Awesome. This game is creative, challenging, beautiful and long with an interesting story line! All the things I look for in a puzzle game. On par with Room and Davinci, which are my faves! Note: I had a problem in the game at one point that couldn’t be solved by the provided hints and walkthroughs (which are helpful!), and I emailed David. He responded immediately and helped me fix my issue. Great game, great developer. Thank you, I highly recommend!

Dude!!!. I finished the game but it seems like a ton of stuff got missed. For example the tracks. There was obviously more places to explore but you can’t get to it. There’s even a cart that you can’t get into take the other paths. Then the box with the rubies. There’s a door next to it that seems like you should be able to get to but you can’t. Is there a different way to complete the game? Like to get a different ending?

Nice evolution in the series. Great sequel to the Ancient Curse. I’m enjoying the puzzles, challenging enough so I had to use a few hints (thanks for rationing them so I don’t spoil my fun too much!). I haven’t needed a walkthrough yet. I’m liking the mysterious technology. The red amulet doesn’t always work when it’s glowing, I wonder: is anyone else having that problem? I’m using an iPad Air, so it could be me. 5 stars anyway because that shouldn’t be your fault David. Well done, I hope you can make more.

Incredible Bargain. This is a terrific and very challenging adventure/puzzle game. It’s also an incredible amount of game play for the price, even more so when you see it was all done by a single developer. It’s a real bargain if you enjoy playing these sorts of games, especially with the attention to detail and quality graphics.

Excellent puzzles. All these people whining about the puzzles being too hard and impossible to do without a walkthrough clearly have no determination to find a solution without help. To me I loved this game because it made me more excited once I figured out a puzzle without using any clues, hints, or walkthroughs. Completing the whole game without help was a blast, only wish it was a little longer , but for 2 bucks, I will not complain, I just enjoyed it and want more.

Loved this game until.... There’s a puzzle with random numbers that if you input them wrong the numbers reset. Ok no problem. A little annoying but no worries, it’s part of the game. Until you forget to take a picture of a random number that can only be accessed in a room once. I hope this gets fixed for stupid people like me because this game is unplayable unless I start over.

Well done. I’ve played several adventure puzzle games, and this was right up there with the Room series. Graphics were great, I liked the way the player could move through the scene and see everything, puzzles were challenging and the hints were good, I did use walk through a few times. Decent story as well. Always love the letters. Would play another!

Nicely done. The game graphics are nice, but it would be good if your movements were more fluid, less programmed. Puzzles are challenging and the hints are good but maybe you could do a 1, 2 ,3 set of hints that give away more info until you hit 4 that tells you what to do.... more games please. Keep up the good work!

Liked the first door.... I got through the red room, but when I got to the blue, I must’ve hit some kind of glitch. I made it over the bridge with the moveable planks, but when I went to put the third plank down from the other side, it actually pushed me past the hole to other other side, and now I don’t have the third plank. I have no idea where it went, and it won’t let me place the plank that’s already there on that spot, so now I’m stuck on the initial side of the bridge. I have a new iPad with the latest software.

Amazing Game.. This game was one of my favorite games ever. It’s Myst and Room 3 all in one. It was worth so much more than a few bucks. I played for hours and hours. I found it to be incredibly difficult in some respects and got frustrated a few times but it was worth it when you would finally figure it out. I can not wait for another game from this incredibly talented developer. Loved every single puzzle. Every single room! ❤️

A super engaging puzzle adventure, on par with The Room series. Although Legacy 1 was compiled with very simple graphics and movements, the story was very engaging and once the 2nd half came out, the quality jump was amazing with an even more engaging adventure. Number 3 continues the mind calisthenics with an equally engaging, yet slightly different, story (although following the fun Egyptian steam punk theme). The puzzles are challenging, interesting and non repetitive. I quite liked it and look forward to future games by David and his team.

I have no words. ... but I will try. An amazing experience. I love a challenge with a story that is interesting. I want more of the railroad! Playing the game you get the sense that the developer cared for the players and their experience. The hint system is perfect, the gameplay smooth, and the artistry in the scenes is clear. Thank you, thank you...

One guy? No dev team?.. Great work... had to check the walkthrough a couple times, but worth every dime and then some... not for the faint hearted or at least frail of mind... wish there were more games like this out there... i think ive played them all at this point...

A top-shelf puzzle room title!. This guy really knows how to make an engaging and thoughtful game. Great atmosphere, interesting story, and exceptional puzzles. Things flow and interconnect almost flawlessly. Some of the puzzles have, in my estimation, some very challenging stretches in logic (to the point where I needed to reference a walk-through), but it by no means diminishes the fantastic journey through David’s archaic and mysterious world. Absolutely worth every penny. Can’t wait till Legacy 4!

Contrived puzzles not based in logic.. I love a good point and click as much as the next person; but creating puzzles that would require a player to know what the creator of the game was thinking (I’m not psychic) rather than setting up any kind of clues is ridiculous. Graphics were decent for a solo creator. I’ll give it that. But there should of been better leads to what the player should be doing next rather than sending us on a full map wild goose chase in order to figure out where a pipe should be placed to launch a boulder with a rail cart etc… Many better point in clicks out there which focus on good puzzles and not guess work.

Great, long game. For $2.99 it was an incredible deal! A lot longer and more thought and detail than most $4.99 or $5.99 games. Really nice immersive experience and I hope there is more to come. I do wish there was maybe a 3rd hint button for when you get really stuck that gives you a more detailed hint without totally giving it away like using the walkthrough. But really enjoyed this game!

Excellent Game. Very challenging so it keeps you having to think hard. Remember that items you thought you were done once you place them, may become useful later in the game. I had to use the walk thru a couple times to discover that. Please continue to make these games. They are by far the best out of all the puzzle games I’ve played so far.

Awesome game. I totally love this game. The graphics are so real that you think you are there. Love the thinking required to progress but I did need the walkthroughs a bit. So glad they are right in the game. The puzzles are really good ones. I have played all three Legacy games from David. Can’t Waite for a number 4. I’ll be there for sure!

Amazing work from a solo dev!. Great game! I played Legacy 2 first and enjoyed it. The puzzles in this one are HARD and I wouldn’t have finished it without playthroughs, but I’d rather have a game that’s too hard than too easy. The puzzles are also super creative and a step beyond the usual mystery room games. I’m frankly amazed that this is made by a one man operation! Looking forward to possibly playing Legacy 4 in the future!

Well made especially when considering…. Considering this is made by one individual it makes this an impressive piece of art. I encountered no bugs and very smooth gameplay. Some of the puzzles were a bit too hard for me to solve and needed some hints beyond what the game provided. Other than that great storyline and thought out riddles

Long and challenging. I found the game to be long and challenging, both of which are welcome. I don’t like games that I can figure out in one or two sittings. This one kept me going and trying things for a few weeks. I admit to using the help more than once. Nothing scary or jumping out at you in this, so If you like adventure puzzle games, this is for you.

Tough but Fun. It’s quite challenging at times and some of it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Not too much explanation and you really have to think about it before you can move on. This definitely expanded on the second game in toughness and was expecting it to be just as fun but towards the end, got tired of the puzzles and used the walkthrough a few times because it was so frustrating. And normally I don’t like to use any guides.

Awesome game. This game is awesome . I spent many hours playing it and enjoyed every moment. The graphics and artwork is outstanding . The visuals and attention to detail are like none I have seen I. A game . I have played all of your games and enjoyed all but the pyramid game; it was not as polished and professional written as the Legacy series. Thank you and please bring us more !

Legacy sets the bar high. It started with Myst, then The Room, and now it’s Legacy. This trio of Legacy 1, 2, & 3, is outstanding and one of the best in graphics, puzzles, and length of the game. Yeah, there were some clues that either I missed or were beyond my grasp but great puzzles I’ve not seen in any other app. I tried limiting the time I spent with the game in order to make it last longer but I end up in a different time zone when I’m playing. Now that I’ve finished (*sigh*), I must get back to life. More games, David, please!

Skip this one. Unless you enjoy wasting your time running in circles, do not get this game. As you move through the puzzles, you collect numbers posted on walls. At one point you have to arrange them in a grid. There is no hint as to how the numbers in the various rooms are supposed to match the grid. If you make one mistake, all the numbers change, so then you must go back and again collect all the new numbers. That is a huge waste of time, especially given the slow way the game moves, even when using the few portals. I enjoy rational puzzle games, but not busy work games.

Amazing game. This is an amazing game. I read the one star review you received and I couldn’t disagree more. The puzzles did make sense, they are just very challenging. Which is what makes this game so satisfying. You really have to think. Keep them coming! You are quickly rising to the top of our list of favorites for point and click game developers! Thank you for this wonderful experience 👍

Top notch game. Some of the best point and click puzzle games out there. I have no idea why these aren’t more popular. If you like The Room series, you will love these, and in some ways they are superior. Long gameplay, great puzzles, and a GREAT hint system. Seriously, I’ve been waiting for a hint system like this all my life. It doesn’t give you answers, it just nudges you in the right direction, which is awesome in such a long game with such a big map. Also, thanks for the teleport. To the devs: KEEP GOING! Adore your games.

Very good game. These games are good. They aren’t super easy, so I can play on and off for a few days, but they aren’t so hard it’s frustrating. The puzzles make sense. I do like the hint system. It gives you just enough to know you’re on the right track, since the puzzles aren’t lateral. I’m going to hunt for installment 4 now. Question/spoiler: what’s with Nefertiti?

Genuinely Thoughtful Gameplay!. I really enjoy how after “completing” a level, there’s still a chance you’ll need to return - because the game as found a new use for a tool or contraption later in the game. It feels less step-by-step, puzzle-by-numbers and more like you are truly experiencing the game as you are playing it. This is also weirdly the first of these I have played, I will be purchasing the other two as soon as I’m done!

Gave it 5.....but..... Great game. But, while I know a common complaint about really good games is that they’re too short, that ain’t the problem here. It’s way too long for as interesting as it is. I got to the green corridor (which I assume is 3/4 of the way through), and I just couldn’t do it any more. The puzzles are beautiful and complex, but the whole thing is marginally interesting and only mildly rewarding. I deleted it. Gonna try the earlier games in the series and see how they are.

As good if not better than The Room series. This is everything you want in a point and click adventure. Hard, but sensible puzzles, great graphics, and long game play. Plus a really great hint system that nudges you in the right direction but doesn’t give too much away. Hope there’s a Legacy 4 in development.

Constantly Challenging and Fun. The story line, puzzles, and challenges never fail to make this series exciting. This one is particular is great at eliminating the need to switch rooms one by one and instead allowing you to jump to rooms. Also, I enjoy how everything slowly comes together with the story and all the challenges. Keep making more!

Very challenging. The story line was intriguing and the puzzles were challenging and fun. I loved that aha moment that comes after trying it this way and that and then, aha I know how to solve it. I must confess I did get stuck in a couple of spots that I would never have figured out without some help. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great game until the end, but worth the money. Most of the puzzles were quite clever and creative (a few were obtuse and lacked logical or intuitive progression, but ultimately solvable) and the story was entertaining enough. What lost it a star was the utter abruptness of the ending. It was if the game creator, David, had just run out of energy and ideas and just quit. No closure on your character or even the story itself. No fanfare or hoopla, just a text screen reading “Congratulations! You’ve finished the game.” Very disappointingly anticlimactic.

Great game. Just finished the 3rd installment I hope there are more to come! Everything about this game is great the puzzles are difficult but not frustratingly, the game design is also amazing, and you can see the progress through the three games they just get better.. highly recommend!!

Challenging puzzles but not impossible. The puzzles were interesting, challenging and varied. Some I solved easily, others I had to think about for a while. None required walkthroughs. Once I figured it out, I would often think “hmm! Now that is a clever puzzle!” I don’t think there were any repeated puzzles. I liked that the hint system did not give anything away except which room and if you had everything you needed in order to solve the next. Great job David!

Absolutely terrific!. Just like a ‘can’t put it down’ book. As a programmer, I am aware of the time, expertise and genius that goes into this series of games. It is thrilling, agonizing and satisfying to work/play through. It is hard to put a fair price on this work, but I’d pay more! Thanks!!

So frustrating it’s not enjoyable. We have played the entire Room series and this game does not come close. We try to resort to walkthroughs only as an absolute last resort, but this game required consulting the walkthrough on a routine basis. Often the solution was one no reasonable person would try. (Growing magic bean to modify a gem? Really? Or somehow being able to walk up a beam of light? Or determining the significance of a one-eyed Egyptian bust?). This game could absolutely NOT be played without access to the walkthrough. Game also suffers from interface issues. We like the newly-introduced capability to look left/right/up/down, but: 1. Ambient sound and music should have adjustable levels rather than simple on/off selection. 2. Mechanism of green paintbrush is not intuitive. We spent a half hour trying to get paint letters on the back of tiles with the brush before finally figuring out that “X” meant “use your finger”.

Great game. I loved all 3 in the series, but this last one was a tad frustrating. There were illogical leaps. Things I could not have possibly known to do. The easy links to walkthroughs were helpful. The hint system kept me from a lot of wandering. I liked knowing when I was finished in a room in the second one, and would have appreciated that in this one. Overall a solid game and worth the time.

Best Legacy yet. So much better than the previous games as far as movement, graphics and content. Very challenging. Need to really pay attention for clues to each puzzle. My only criticism is sometimes something is far away in a room and you can’t go straight to it. You need to go to the next closest item, then go to the place. Otherwise, good game.

Fun, keeps my attention, challenging.. I like this one better than the first two because there’s more of a hint system but even with that, it was still challenging and sometimes a little too frustrating. I would like to be able to lower the music while still having sound effects. High environmental absorption.

Riveting!!. I play a LOT (and that’s an understatement) of puzzle games - escape the _____, davinci, the room series... you name it, I’ve probably played it. THIS one, however, is just gorgeous and pretty much perfect The music... the challenge levels of the puzzles... the storyline is interesting... I wish there were more and more of these Just. Perfect. Thank you thank you xx

Very frustrated with the controls. I played 1 & 2. The 2 was the best with the controls. With this one, I’ve barely started this game and it is driving me insane how I can’t even move around. One classic example is the slingshot taking down the bridge but I can’t even click on the bridge to cross it. I have to click on the door on the other side then “float” across the gap instead of using the bridge. That is ridiculous. I have other early examples in the game but truly, not being able to move around is driving me crazy. I am about to delete the game although I paid for it.

Really fun, great logic puzzles. These games are pretty decent at teaching you the...preferences (is that the right word?) of the gameplay. I found myself thinking, “the game likes mirrors and reflections, the game likes going in a certain order”. It’s pretty fun and very addictive. I did watch some walk-thrus because there isn’t always audio feedback that you’ve done something correctly OR the actions aren’t intuitive so you can miss a puzzle solution even though you were actually doing the right thing.

Worth every penny. This is an amazingly well done game. I’ve been a fan of The Room series and other 3D games like this and this one easily holds its own against other similar games at twice the price. The puzzles are difficult without being obscure and the environment and ambience are top notch. If there’s a 4th game in this series, I’ll buy it without hesitation.

Absolutely stunning! So worth every penny!. In fact, it’s worth 10x the amount. Very inexpensive for the amount of time and great puzzles, not to mention incredible beauty throughout the game. One of the all-time best, and I’ve been playing since the 1980s! Each one of these has gotten better and better, and so inter-connected with a great continuing storyline. I’m about to start part 4, can’t wait! DAVID, whoever you are, you’re a master and deserve much accolades.

Challenging. I’m really enjoying this game. It’s a little addictive. Just when you think you’ve got it I get stuck. I love that you can use a little hint or have easy access to a walkthrough if you’re really at a loss. Guess I only gave it four stars because I seem to be stuck a lot but that’s actually on me. Can’t wait to see more games from this developer.
